After the declaration of 'India', a alliance of opposition parties, its outcome is noticeable in the politics of West Bengal. New posters have been place up in the capital Kolkata concerning the alliance INDIA. Pointing towards Delhi, in these posters put up at various places, along with Mamta Banerjee's picture, it has been written - 'Ab baar Delhi me INDIA Sarkar'. The special thing is that these posters put up in Bengal have been printed in Hindi. In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, 26 opposition parties have come together to stop the victory chariot of PM Modi-led NDA. On July 18, a gathering of these parties was held in Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka, where all of them announced the creation of an anti-NDA front named Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance-India. The third meeting of the alliance will be held this month:- These posters have been put up in Kolkata at a time when the third meeting of the India Alliance is going to be held at the end of this month. This meeting of the India Alliance is to be held in Mumbai on August 31 and September 1.Quoting sources, news agency PTI has told that this meeting will also be like Bengaluru. In this, a dinner program has been kept on the first day, 31 August. The main meeting will be held during the day on 1st September. After the gathering on the same day, the leaders of the opposition union will hold a combined press conference. The first assembly of the opposition parties was held in Patna on June 23 on the request of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. In this meeting, an agreement was made on the strategy of unitedly contesting the elections to remove PM Modi from power in the next elections. NCP-Shiv Sena UBT will host:- The third gathering of the opposition coalition will be together hosted by Sharad Pawar's Nationalist Congress Party and Uddhav Thackeray's Shiv Sena. 🌍🏆 Dipesh Chakrabarty Honored with 2024 European Essay Prize 🖋️

Dipesh Chakrabarty has been awarded the 🥇 46th European Essay Prize for the French translation of his latest work, Après le changement climatique, penser l’histoire (Paris: Gallimard, 2023).

The European Essay Prize jury commended this significant essay for its deep insights into our 🌱 current era and the 🌐 human responsibility in the context of climate change. The jury particularly valued the global perspective of the book and noted how it offers a transformative view on the perception of ⏳ time and, by extension, 📜 history.

The jury also highlighted the way Chakrabarty has politicized the concept of the earth 🌍 in his work.

Born in 1948 in Calcutta 🇮🇳, where he received his education, Dipesh Chakrabarty is now based in Chicago 🇺🇸 and is recognized as a leading figure in postcolonial studies. His influential 2000 essay, Provincializing Europe, effectively bridged the gap between the 🌍 universal and the 🏡 local.

As François Hartog, who penned the preface to Chakrabarty’s latest essay, remarks: “His focus on place and his use of a distant gaze have allowed him to create a robust, dynamic, and evolving body of work.”

মিষ্টি মটি ঝাল জলপাই মোরব্বা। শরৎকালে আমাদের বঙ্গে কাঁচা জলপাই খুব পাওয়া যায় আর তা দিয়ে বাঙালির রান্না ঘরে খাবার হবেনা তা কি হয়? চলুন আজ বানাই টক ঝাল জলপাই মোরব্বা। উপাদান ৫০০ গ্রাম পাকা জলপাই ২৫০ গ্রাম গুড় ২ চা চামচ লবণ ২ চা চামচ মৌরী গোটা ১ চা চামচ ধনিয়া গোটা ২ টি ছোট শুঁকনো লঙ্কা ২ টি তেজপাতা ৩ টেবিল চামচ তেল কিভাবে তৈরি করবেন: অল্প জলে জলপাই ধুয়ে নিন এবং তা ছোট ছোট করে কাটুন। তারপর তা খোলা স্থানে একটু শুকাতে দিন। মৌরি, ধনিয়া ও শুকনো লঙ্কা গরম তায়াতে একটু ভেজে নিন। ভাজা হলে শিলনোড়া অথবা মিক্সসিতে তা গুঁড়ো করে নিন, খেয়াল রাখবেন মশলা যেন একদম গুঁড়ো না হয়ে যায়। মশলা দানাদার রাখতে হবে কারণ মোরব্বার স্বাদকে এই মশলাই ত্বরান্বিত করে। এবার কড়াইতে তেল ও তেজপাতা দিন, তেল গরম হয়ে এলে কাটা জলপাই গুলি তেলে দিয়ে মিনিট ১০ ভাজুন। মাসল এবার উপর থেকে জলপাইয়ের উপর ভালো করে ছড়িয়ে দিন এবং তা ভালো করে মেশান। সর্বশেষ গুড় কে আলাদা একটি পাত্রে একটু জল দিয়ে জাল দিন। খেয়াল রাখবেন গুড় যেন পুরোপুরি আঁঠালো ভাব না হয়। জলপাই গুলি ভাজার সময় শেষে উপর থাকে গুড়ের ওই তরল ঢেলে দিন ও ভালো করে জাল দিন। জেলির মতো আঠালো হয়ে এলে তা নামিয়ে নিন। এবার এই মিষ্টি ঝাল জলপাই মোরব্বা। চের বয়ামে বা বাটিতে ২-১ দিন রোদে রাখুন। আপনার টক ঝাল জলপাই মোরব্বা প্রস্তুত। দারুন স্বাদ এর এই মিষ্টি ঝাল জলপাই মোরব্বা পরিবেশন করুন। #travellermoonu #chefmoonuskitchen #moonuandco #chefmoonu #chefkolkata #Kolkatatravel #thefoodietraveller #travelphotography #instakolkata #instafood #restaurant #feedyoursoul #chefstalk #kolkatalogger #kolkatagram #kolkatafoodie #bengalifood #dhakafoodie #Kolkata #calcutta #westbangal #olddhaka #kolkatatrip #kolkatalove #bangali #bengallife #chef #cheflife (at West Bengal,India-পশ্চিমবঙ্গ,ভারতবর্ষ) https://www.instagram.com/p/CkqvJtGhaL6/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
