I feel bad about the West Ham players
They are actually innocent. They are just doing their job.
The amount of abuse they got... poor lads. I know we're supposed to hate them because they're not Richmond and they're Rupert's players, but after they've been through, they deserved the win.
Nate berates them during practice, calling them dumb. Even Disco is also trying to be Nate. And then they got beat up by Richmond players, yikes!
Armando and Havel are the players I paid attention to. Poor Havel; he's the club's captain and got no respect. Moe tackled him, had an argument with Dani, and almost had a fistfight. Armando got slammed by Isaac and then got dismissed by Zava. He even tried to get away from Jan Maas!

And there's that player O'Neil where Richard just smacked him with a ball, heeeee...!
I might be wrong, but they seem to be decent players. Rupert is evil, but we're supposed to hate West Ham.
(Although West Ham is a real football club, they are the fictionalized club in the show with actors - I wish we find out whether they are himbos as well).

ted lasso question.
West Ham is a real team, right? Right? (Please hold, googling.) ...it's real. Okay. That's what I thought. This brings me to my question.
Why did they agree to be the "enemy" team? This is an actual question. Is it from a PR standpoint? That makes sense, but to non-soccer fans, they'll just be "the team that Rupert the Asshole Bought." Maybe? All PR is good PR?
I don't know. It just reminds me of the fact that Apple doesn't let the villains have iPhones because it doesn't want to be associated with bad guys (which makes me crack up every time I think about it, FYI.)
If anyone has any insight, please enlighten me.

You know what’s funny? I’ve been a Chelsea FC for more than a decade, and I never had something against West Ham United. Since Bullet Train, I saw Tangerine being a West-Ham fan, and I love West Ham even more now lol.
and I now hope that west ham will get better, just like they were in the previous season. (They are close to the relegation zone)
Anyway, Chels is life tho 🔵⚪️

Knollsy and the fellow West Ham fans who fought off AZ Alkmaar ultras
West Ham’s players also tried to join the fray, with Flynn Downes, Michail Antonio and Said Benrahma among those who attempted to make their way into the stands. Uefa will wait for the full reports from the night before deciding on what disciplinary action to take against AZ and their supporters. It is understood that they could also appoint an inspector to investigate the situation more…

Football fans won't care because you know because all we care is if our team is wining, non football fans maybe google to know if it is a real team but at the end of the day don't care that is a real team and neither cares about what the other thinks some crazy west ham die hard fan but that says more about said individual than anything...Also they are probably getting so much money for the use of their brand that I don't think they care not football fans think of them only as the "Ted's enemy"
Ah, okay. Yes. This makes sense. West Ham must be making bank with Apple's money. Good on them; brilliant business move. Thank you very much, anon!
