🔥Blessed Calan Mai!🔥
As the week of Beltane celebrations come to a close across Wales and beyond, I want to share a short devotional passage to the deities and spirits of nature that bless us during this season.
The evening sky turns from dark to light,
and the willow-wielding Summer wins his fight.
I praise Beli, the light bringer, for a stalling western sun.
I praise Braint for her fire, and the darkness overcome.
May we be blessed by their warmth.
From the sun, to the hearth.
Blessed Calan Mai to all

Night-time prayer to my deities
Thank you Aphrodite for blessing me with your love
Your beauty and kindness brings me so much warmth
I am so grateful for your presence
Please continue to give me love and confidence when I wake.
Thank you Cerridwen for watching over me
You are so patient and wise
You bless me every day with the gift of Awen
Please continue to help me feel inspired when I wake.
I ask you, kind Goddesses, to watch over me and protect my sleep.
Praise be 🌹🌾

hail and well met, witchblr!
you can call me silas or prophet! i'm in my late 20s, white, queer, autistic, and use he/they/it pronouns, and astrologically, i'm ♏ sun, ♓ moon, and ♈ rising! and while i'm relatively new to witchblr (i've reblogged tarot stuff + followed some witchy blogs on my main, but now i've fully converted an old sideblog into what you see here!), i'm not new to tumblr! i am however, still also relatively new to witchcraft itself, only starting in the last couple of years and being hindered by chronic/mental illness.
some of my hobbies outside witchcraft are pro wrestling, video games (arknights, zero escape, disco elysium), music (the paper chase, the mountain goats, elliotly), furbys and beanie babies (they are NOT cursed!!!), twitch streamers (jerma985, wayneradiotv et al), ttrpgs, horror genre, nbc hannibal... i could go on and on, haha.
at any rate! i'm looking for some blogs to follow. i do a decent amount of tarot but i'm looking to branch out beyond that a well! i'm a devotee of the goddess Arianrhod (if you couldn't tell from the username, ehe), and am working on dabbling in various ways to honor Her, and plan to document my journey as a worshiper here!
to note: despite said username, i don't see myself as an irl prophet! just a fun internet nickname. and i like the idea of being Hers, as opposed to Her being mine if that makes any sense whatsoever lol.
so uh like this post and/or follow me if you'd like me to check out your blog, and i'll follow some people back!! (i follow back from @prophetesque, which is my main blog that i don't really post witchy stuff on). also, i would prefer if no minors followed me, as i'm almost 30. thank you for understanding!
i don't have a full dni or anything but nazis/terfs/fascists can choke thanx.

Welsh Occult Conference 2023
This year's Welsh Occult Conference was great. Some brief thoughts...
Click for the Welsh Occult Conference Facebook Group (image taken from there) It is often said that paganism is the religion with homework, and occultists (like reconstructionists) take this to the next level. We are the people of the library! I love a good conference, and the Welsh occult conference is excellent. Organised and hosted by Sian Sibley and the DragonOak coven, there are always a…

Trying to make devotional Apollo, Hermes, Dionysus, set, Veles, Gwyn ap Nudd, Thor and Hel playlists.
Any suggestions?
I want to be more devoted? To the gods, i haven’t been motivated recently ly and I want to restart my practice. If anyone has any advice for someone starting over I’m open to any advice.
I have a habit of being super anxious when trying to honor the gods or do witchcraft. I feel embarrassed for some reason. I have the same problem with the other people I interact with.
Right now I occasionally draw or wear some jewelry, usually Mjolnir. I have a couple altars set up but I haven’t really used them and I rarely make offerings.

Introducing myself
Hi, folks. I'm Lunetta. I'm 27 from the UK and a Pagan who has connections with Celtic and Hellenic deities. I've been following the path for about 10 years but have grown in devotion over the last 4.
I've always found it difficult to make friends and have remained quite isolated in my life, as that is where my comfort zone is. I'm now feeling like that isn't working for me. So, I'm here to be able to connect with other folks on a similar journey to me, and hopefully find some community in my spiritual life.
Just to cover a bit about my path and practice.
I mainly follow a Celtic/Welsh pathway, with a big focus on the energies of Avalon and some influence from Druidry and the Bardic path. I also follow some Hellenic deities.
The deities I am in relationship with currently are:
Morgan Le Fay (she's my ever guiding light!)
Cerridwen
Rhiannon
Brigid
Dionysus
Aphrodite
Apollo
I practice witchcraft, and I'm currently developing my skills as an oracle. I also am beginning my journey on the Bardic path, as I hope to dedicate my life to the arts in worship to the divine.
Please note, I am no expert in any of this. I study hard, and hope to learn more as I grow.
I'd love to connect with more folks who are on a similar journey, so please do give me a follow and shoot me a message. A big goal of mine is to get over my fear of being seen and get into community more, so anyone who would like to reach out is more than welcome!

I’ve been working with Gwydion for a little while! He is my patron deity and Welsh god, known for his excellence in magic, his tutelary nature and his relationship to plants/trees.
He empowers me to become more competent in my practice and to embrace nature and science. I see him as a guiding force and he speaks to me through the wind that flows between the trees in the forest
This post is a space for anyone who worships a lesser known deity to reblog and talk about the deity, their experiences, etc.
Share away!!!

Had a super rough class today with a professor who is very old fashioned and a hard grader (I’m talking interrogate you after your speech) and as I stepped out of the building this gorgeous hawk flew right over my head, close enough that I could see its eyes. Gwydion, I love you, that was exactly what I needed <3

PSA: although Welsh/Celtic Paganism isn’t a closed practise it is still important to respect native Welsh traditions and customs. If you want to practise then start by learning about Wales, its history and its people.

Honoring Llyr - God of the Sea
Having spent a lot of time on Welsh islands recently, I’ve spent time connecting with Llyr and the sea realm.
May we find in him the same strength which can be found in the primal power of the waves. The unwavering force that carves up land.
O mighty Llyr, Lord of the boundless sea,
Ruler of waves and keeper of the deep,
I come before you with reverence and awe,
I ask for your blessing as I journey through the unknown.

Hope everyone is having a blessed Imbolc! My day has been pretty busy with celebrations, I’ve done some cleaning, bought flowers, had a ritual, and baked bread.
May the coming spring be warm and full of blessings, may gentle Braint smile upon us ☀️
