BEE’S TOP 20 BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER EPISODES EVER:
20. S4 E1, The Freshman
Sunday and her gang are just so much fun to watch. I wish there were more fun vampire stoner-types in the show. I love the whole college allegory with Giles leaving Buffy to figure things out on her own. especially showing how she goes from being scared to realizing she does actually have the power to survive without an adult watching over her. Also I think about the klimt poster game every time I see a college dorm now.
19. S1 E9, The Puppet Show
The first (and only?) Buffy episode to ever genuinely scare me. I watched it late at night, alone in my room in the dark when no one else was awake. I don’t fuck with doll horror movies. The puppet skittering about Buffy’s room made me tremble. Also I just love anything theatre related and watching Giles very poorly do a magic circle was fun. And! Framing Snyder as a villain was such a good choice. And I think about him saying “I don’t get it” at the end of the ep a lot. Just really fun in general.
18. S1 E12, Prophecy Girl
“I may be dead, but I’m still pretty.” Her outfit is iconic. Her reaction to finding out she’s going to die is heartbreaking and realistic. I love that Xander is the one to revive her, forever cementing him as one of Buffy’s best friends and a crucial part of the gang.
17. S3 E20, The Prom
The class protector award will always make me tear up, like fuck. people in a town that actively ignores the horrors acknowledged that Buffy was keeping them safe from the horrors. she deserved that moment so much.
16. S3 E13, The Zeppo
I am a Xander apologist and I’m not afraid to say it. This episode is so fucking funny. I love getting to see what goes on in the background of every Buffy episode. I think it adds so much more to Xander’s character to know that he gets left out of the main plot and has his own wacky adventures that he doesn’t talk or brag about. He is the epitome of Just A Guy. He knows he isn’t like Buffy and the rest of the scoobies, but he also knows he can be just as brave as them. The moment where he’s in the basement and smiling about the bomb about to go off, “I like the quiet,” shakes me so much. Iconic.
15. S2 E6, Halloween
Ethan Rayne’s first appearance! I love how kitschy it feels. willow’s costume is gorgeous.
14. S6 E16, Hell’s Bells
Jesus fucking christ. The portrayal of dysfunctional families is just spot on. Anya looks stunning the entire time. Xander choosing to walk out because he loves Anya too much to even risk following in his family’s footsteps and abusing her is so heartbreakingly real. Is Xander in the wrong for ever letting their relationship get this far when he had doubts? ABSOLUTELY. Also the scene when Anya walks down the aisle crying makes me want to sob, it’s such a perfect shot. Ughh
13. S6 E8, Tabula Rasa
fun amnesia episode! I love seeing what’s inside the characters when they don’t remember anything about themselves. the loan shark bit is so stupid and funny. Giles and Spike having a father/son relationship is perfect. “RANDY GILES??!?? might as well call me desperate for a shag Giles.” also “a vampire with a soul? God, how lame is that?”
12. S4 E12, A New Man
This was the first Buffy episode I ever saw! Caught it on tv and fell in love. I remember watching willow and tara float the rose and thinking “gay.” Then I saw Giles and ethan laugh together over drinks after he, like pinned Ethan down in a crypt and I thought “gay.” And you know what, I was right on both fronts. Also spike crashing the car is so funny.
11. S2 E7, Lie To Me
Everyone talks about wanting to see more of ford, and we get to see more of the main girl, but all I want is Diego/marvin content. I love his stupid sparkly blue cape. I also love how Buffy reacts to finding out ford has cancer; “I’ll kill you myself.” Being in a horrible situation doesn’t excuse the horrible crime you’re about to commit! He’s just a very well written character
10. S7 E15, Get It Done
After watching this, I had to lie down for a moment because it was so much and I cried (which I rarely do with tv shows). The origins of the slayer just fucking wrecked me. The first slayer was just a girl who was violated and used.
9. S2 E22, Becoming pt. 2
Genuinely just one of the best season finales of all time. They perfectly took away everything Buffy had and brought her to the point of no return. The part when Angel asks her “what’s left?” before attempting to stab her with the sword, but Buffy shuts her eyes and perfectly catches it and says “me” is the most breathtaking, iconic scene ever. Gut wrenching and absolutely devastating.
8. S7 E7, Conversations With Dead People
Willow’s conversation with Cassie is so jarring. Buffy’s conversation is so so great and fun. Also “mommy’s milk is red today” is such an INSANE thing to write.
7. S2 E19, I Only Have Eyes For You
I love the concept that a haunting is just a house re-enacting a terrible night over and over again to try and understand what happened to it. This is extremely similar. Just a guy replaying his greatest and final mistake in an attempt to gain forgiveness, to somehow make everything turn out all right because he can’t live or die with that guilt. And the connection to Buffy and Angel’s relationship is just the cherry on top.
6. S2 E17, Passion
I’m a sucker for Angel’s monologue in this one. The scene where he kills Jenny is just, so. Her death perfectly shows how serious things have gotten. All the fun and games are over. Having Giles find her in his bed is absolutely sickening, but I love how they set up the fact that Giles has never seen Angel’s letters until then, he isn’t aware that’s the paper and handwriting from Angel and not Jenny. Also the shot where Willow and Buffy find out that she’s dead is great. I love that we see it from outside the house, looking in.
5. S4 E10, Hush
Astonishing that one of the greatest episodes has extremely little dialogue. the end from Riley’s perspective is just that his girlfriend screamed and the heads of these demons exploded… did he think she had like a banshee scream ability?? I would’ve. Giles’ drawings are so fun
4. S5 E7, Fool for Love
“I’ve always been bad” -jump cut to spike writing bad poetry. I love the little detail that Halfrek was the girl who turned down spike in 1880. The entire subway scene is perfect. Every slayer has a death wish. Buffy saying “you’re beneath me” is so perfectly cruel, and throwing the money is too. the end with spike going to kill Buffy then seeing her upset and comforting her is just a perfect picture of their entire relationship.
3. S4 E22, Restless
“Props?” “No.” “Props?” “YES!” Death of a salesman should have a cowboy in it, actually. Spike selling himself out as an attraction is so believable. like yeah, he would love to be photographed all the time by admirers.
2. S5 E16, The Body
One of the best portrayals of grief I’ve ever seen.
1. S6 E7, Once More With Feeling
Duh. I rewatch this episode A LOT. Anya and Xander’s song gets stuck in my head pretty regularly. I listen to the music on spotify. Hinton Battle kills. I recently watched this with my friend who does ballet and she said Dawn’s dance was really good! BROADWAY LEGEND HINTON BATTLE!!! Spike and Buffy’s kiss at the end is so perfectly built up and executed. Just an absolute masterpiece.

The only Facebook group I feel safe in as an Izzy Hands stan is Our Flag Means Daddy.
Even though I am apart of the two main groups as well, i.e. Our Flag Means Deathposting, Our Flag Means Fans, I do NOT feel SAFE. I see the wildest and hottest fucking takes in these groups and they piss me off. Are you even watching the same show? I’m also sick and tired of people calling Izzy a villain when he clearly is not. Also there are many that don’t recognize he’s gay, even after season 2. If you voice you’re upset and betrayed? You get attacked. I was again last night.
I guess I’m a proud Izzy “apologist”, but it fucking baffles me how fans just give Ed a pass on all the brutal things he did. Oh but the love story—- NO. Recognize you’re an Ed apologist as well. I like both Ed and Izzy, but I recognize the horrifying things Ed did.
The day of the finale, I posted my thoughts on various social media. I got attacked. I got messages even on tumblr from anon cowards who I imagine followed through Twatter. I was called the t slur. That I was stupid, fat, all sorts of things.
It’s because I said I’ll never trust David Jenkins again. Now, do I have my own thoughts as to whether parts of the finale are a dream state/gravy basket that Stede himself is in? Absolutely. But let’s dive into why I was especially hurt.
First off. I am disabled. For those who know me, I’ve also had two leg surgeries and my injury has ruined my life. So seeing Izzy with a false leg, as a disabled character, still being badass? It felt good. It boosted my confidence for me to keep going. I had so much metal in my leg it caused pain that left me bedridden and using a wheelchair and cane. Many a time I wish they’d chopped my leg off.
I see a lot of myself in Izzy. I swear, he has the traits of an Aries with his anger and intense emotions. This man feels deeply for those who cares for, even though at first this seemed to just be Edward. Despite the hardened shell, he’s a romantic at heart. I’m very much the same.
That hardened shell is also a form of masking to me. In my opinion, and in my own headcanon for this roleplaying blog, Israel is neurodivergent and suffered sexual assault on ships when he was young. It’s part of the reason he has bowel issues. He had to force himself to put on that rough motherfucker mask in order to protect himself. I was bullied mercilessly in school. When I started middle school, I decided to align myself with the “bad kids” as a form of protection. Guess what? Part of myself was masking I was a bad ass, part of myself became the badass I was masking to be after years of torture.
Also. I am transmasculine. I’m pre-HRT. But to me, Izzy is very transmasc coded. This was even confirmed by Con himself when a transmasc fan at Supercon brought the conversation up. I’d just like to say again how much I adore him for supporting the trans community, particularly transmascs who often are glanced over.
Then David Jenkins, a straight man, that swore he wouldn’t fall into the kill your gays trope did exactly that. So let’s exclude here the thought that this is possibly a dream state, or even that he might be resurrected by Buttons as a zombie or ghost which I fucking hope not. We’re talking about my initial feelings. Now it felt like they were setting him up to be killed but I said oh no Jenkins wouldn’t do that to us. He promised he wouldn’t.
Guess what?! He fucking did. Not only that, he murdered off the disabled, gay, transmasc coded character after giving him the most beautiful character arc of any character on the show. You can have a gay pirate rom com, you can understand some characters can get hurt, but killing someone as a means to advance plot? Fuck you. Also, the fact that Izzy apologized to his ABUSER?! As if the victim blaming and shaming wasn’t enough for Izzy Hands, which I see plenty of still, that’s fucked up on so many levels.
So to me I watched a version of myself be murdered. It hit me in the hardest way imaginable. I cried for days. I’ve never been so attached to a character in my 38 years of existence. I’m sick and tired of people saying they like his redemption arc. Izzy never needed redemption. He just needed one, single, person to tell him that he was loved and cared about.
So voicing that I felt betrayed and that I no longer trust Jenkins got me nothing but vitriol. Then toward the end of the day, he made a tweet about how there’s no version of the show without Izzy and had the comments turned off. He knows what he did. And then in the FB groups, if you dared say you were upset that day, requoted Jenkins, you’re a horrible person? Right. I didn’t start attacking the writers. I just said I’m betrayed and I can’t trust what I thought was my comfort show. Because of that, I got hate.
As much as I’d like to believe Izzy will return, the interviews David has done post season 2 talking about his character give me little hope. It’s like he just stabbed every fan in the back. Id like to think the rushed finale is really a dream sequence or gravy basket deal. Id like to think that Izzy will come back thanks to Buttons. But now I just don’t trust David Jenkins.
And if you dare voice this opinion anywhere but Our Flag Means Daddy and Twatter, you get attacked. So here goes. Thanks for my TED talk.

Somebody actually thinks that Charles is the biggest racist on MASH? Did they not watch the first 5 seasons with Frank? Frank was definitely worse, and he was a homophobe as well, which Charles doesn’t seem to be. (And seeing as he was gay in real life, I just can’t imagine Charles as being homophobic.)
Frank’s racism and homophobia seemed to come from a place of pure hatred. Charles is more of an elitist, classist snob who grew up in a sheltered, privileged environment but demonstrated on several occasions that, unlike Frank, he could learn from his mistakes and the errors of his beliefs (Something I wish we could have gotten more of.) and actually was a decent human being with ethics and standards. I think the writers were more inconsistent with Charles at times and they were definitely trying to make him into a smart, competent, and sane Frank Burns at first before deciding to go in a different direction with him. He had moments like defending the Korean-American baby girl and was just as disgusted by Major Weems in The Tooth Shall Set You Free as the other guys were. Frank certain wouldn’t have done either of those things. It was also the deaths of the Chinese musicians that finally broke him.
Anyway, sorry for the long post. Maybe it’s just the Charles apologist in me, but I can’t see someone calling him a bigger racist than Frank and not defend him. He’s a deeply flawed character and that’s what I love about him. I actually do like Frank too, but it’s more that I think he was the perfect main antagonist and villain for the show during its early seasons. Charles is a far better and more complex character and I wish the writers could’ve done more with him.
tl;dr i think we should be able to proclaim our love for the things we enjoy without making their moral superiority over another thing we like less the focus of our commentary. i've no interest providing an intellectual defense of one racist white man vs another racist white man if we both agree that they're racist, but unfortunately i do have to defend a poorer man with less resources to propagate his racist ideology against a rich man with far more power, money and influence at his disposal. it sucks, let's do less of this.
gently, this misses the point i was trying to make earlier. it's risky to point at any one character and say they're in-universe, "more racist" than another because we don't all agree on the units of measurement. if you're saying frank is a worse racist based on slurs uttered per episode, then by that measure sure, you may have a point.
but we know that systemic racism presents as a lot more than just the flinging of racial slurs. there's microaggression, there's white saviourism (the example you name in favour of charles in "yes sir our baby" is this), there's racism that is so intermingled with misogyny it's not always clear that it's racism, internalized racism, unconscious racial bias...
there's no way for me to be gentle about this, but i promise the reason i'm taking the time with this ask is because i want you understand where i'm coming from: classism and elitism also come from a place of pure hatred. a boston brahmin's hatred would undoubtedly be harboured towards women and racialized people - there are on-screen examples of both. i don't recall any specific examples of charles being homophobic nor a supporter of gay people (the only canonical example we have of the latter is Trapper, Hawkeye and maybe Henry and Radar in "George") so the most we can say is it's ambiguous, but if you asked me to extrapolate based on what we know about his class and political views, you probably wouldn't like what i'd have to say.
when comparing frank and charles, it's not really about who is 'more racist' or 'less racist' - a racist is a racist is a racist. actually, i will never be able to know 100% whether or not someone thinks less of me because i'm not white, nor am i ever going to invest a huge amount of energy into trying to convince someone who believes with their whole heart and soul that gay people are going to hell that they are wrong. i'm not the thought police. the metric that matters to me when considering potential harm is not 'how racist' it's 'how much power' - in which case we ought to consider potter and mulcahy as contenders in this game. or we could just not play at all.

Do you think the show is biased against the Greens vs. Team Black? If so, how should the show have demonstrated that both teams are awful, in your opinion?
I honestly do. The show is very Rhaenyra apologist. This girls farts smells of roses according to the show writers, from how perfect she is.
Book Rhaenyra is a disgustingly arrogant, selfish woman. A lot was changed to make her the second coming (or perhaps the first, since she precedes Daenerys by nearly two hundred years) of Daenerys. If they take away the fact that she taxed the smallfolk into famine while living in opulance and throwing parties for her son, I am going to cry tears of rage.
They make her so perfect that she is boring. Her sons are boring.
Aegon is a lazy whoremonger in the books, he was not described as a drunkard until the battle of rook's rest, he drinks to numb the pain. He's his father's son in the way that as Viserys was described as a glutton, so was Aegon. He was not described as a rapist. And he is considerate enough towards his wife that he listens to her, book Helaena is the one against sending assassins to kill Rhaenyra and her children; I don't think he was the greatest husband, he cheated on her and she was aware, but he wasn't the worst. The show distroyed his character to make him a villain.
They made Daemon dumb, show Daemon is just a petulant man-child that thinks himself better than everyone and has a penchant for violance, while daemon was supposed to be this ruthless, violent guy feared and hated by the nobles, that is also somehow charismatic. Also, to sell the Daemyra love story, the show invalidate completely his marriage to Laena, making her the second choice, his less worth option, when, by the books, she is the only wife he did not cheat on, and this says a lot about their relationship when it comes to Daemon. Also, he was a good dad, that was his greatest redeeming quality.
Viserys actually loved Alicent. He choose her for wife because he was in love with her. He wasn't a complete shit dad, and he was sweet to his grandchildren by Aegon and Helaena. Making him a decomposing dude still pinning over his first wife just make him more pathetic(because Viserys is already such a weak dude, that he is pathetic, he does not need more).
I think they change this to have a reason as to way he did not change succession, and they made his love for Aemma the reason, like: this is my perfect only daughter, who does no wrong, born to my beloved wife, the love of my life who I still love even after all this time.
I think that the story in general falls victim of bad writing and confusing plot, both in the show as well as from GRRM. I honestly think that GRRM lost himself in the plot, especially when he made DoD be about Aegon vs Rhaenyra, instead of making about Viserys vs Rhaenys or Rhaenyra vs Daemon, or even Viserys actually naming Aegon as heir and Rhaenyra rebelling against the change.
The show should have been more balanced in the portrait of all those charecters more nuanced. In the end both sides are greed and crave power.

hello! it's your secret santa again 🎁 and i'm back with a couple of questions for you! i see you like several different shows, but i'd love to hear about a couple of your faves and why you love them. who are some of your beloved characters? who makes you go berserk when you see them? :D i hope you have fun with these, and enjoy your weekend!
hello again, stranger!! i hope you're well. i'm warning you now that this will probably get pretty long bc 1. i am incapable of shutting up and 2. i have many faves for all of these, but i'll try and limit myself asdfg
a couple of my fave shows
just between lovers - it's probably my favourite drama of all time, i just love everything about it. it came into my life at a time when i really needed it and gave me the story of two incredibly broken people picking themselves up and learning to heal and it's stuck with me since i first watched it.
if you wish upon me - for many of the same reasons as jbl tbh. it got me out of a drama slump, it gave me a good ji chang wook drama for the first time in at least five years, it gave me an unconventional romance between two absolutely unhinged idiots, it gave me intergenerational found family
one spring night - the drama that started this blog!! it was the drama that brought me back to watching kdramas after a couple of years away and it will always hold a special place in my heart for that.
some of my beloveds; spoiler alert: i like my men hot, tragic and bitchy
park joong gil - let's just get the obvious out of the way. he thoroughly took over my brain while tomorrow was airing and still lives up there rent free. what can i say, his cunty fashion sense and even cuntier personality bewitched me body and soul. he burns rapists alive. he gaslights the king of the underworld to protect his wife. he has a tragic tm backstory. what's not to obsess over??
jang han seo - my baby boy forever and always. has a character ever fought so hard to become a better person just to have their arc so thoroughly disrespected?? i do not think so!!! he's tragic. he's a bitch. he's an idiot. he's smart as hell. he's the bravest man in the entire world. i love him.
nam seon ho - my og tragic tm boy. he's doomed by the narrative. he's destined for sadness. he is, above all, a nuisance to the people in power who want him to stop talking about social inequality. listen i see a pretty man resign himself to being the villain bc that's the only thing the narrative allows him to be and i am immediately on his side. it's the villain apologist in me <3
people i go beserk over
lee soo hyuk - the things this man does to my mental health cannot be quantified. i look at him and feel like my brain has been dropped into a blender and turned to the highest setting
kwak dong yeon - not only is he insanely pretty he's just insane like this man just opens his mouth and lets whatevers rattling around in his brain come out and it never makes any gd sense but that makes it hilarious and i want to be his best friend
woo do hwan - he's just. the prettiest man. THE PRETTIEST MAN. how does he just. look like that. wtf.
jeon jong seo - a recent addition but she makes me 😵‍😵‍😵‍

i have nothing much to add to this thread, but there are some things you said I'd like to reply to.
But TJLC got a lot of hate, too. Just for being a queer reading of the show. I am not talking about criticism, but straight up harrasment and hate. One of the TJLC OGs faced harrasment so bad that she went offline for years.
I wasn't there when Sherlock was big and the ship war blew up but from my experience as a Star Wars fan, there's never a group that's entirely innocent and the other is all bad. I know you are/were a Reylo so I'll try to be very careful with my words here; I saw 'antis' being awful to shippers, accuse them of being abuse apologists and/or compare them to real life criminals' fans, but I also saw shippers being horrible to non shippers, accuse people of being misogynist because they didn't ship Reylo, and attack anyone who dared to say they didn't like TLJ. I saw aggressiveness from both sides, and all the parties involved said the others were the villains.
For a while I thought I shipped Reylo but I also always knew Kylo would die and that this romance was doomed, so I observed all this from an external point of view most of the time, though not being ok with the extreme woobification of Kylo and expressing an opinion of him that largely differed from the pink glassed vision of him that most shippers had, I ended up having more issues with shippers than with antis :( I had the same opinion about most Reylo meta I read as I have about most TJLC's meta: I thought they were often reaching and giving way too much credits to the writers and directors, Rian Johnson in particular. I think it's easy to forget that people like JJ Abrams, Rian Johnson, Gatiss and Moffat, all those guys who write for mainstream media ... They don't think of the fans first, let alone shippers, they write and direct thinking of the general audience first.
This isn't an invitation to discuss Reylo btw, it's old history for me and I'm not interested in discussing it anymore: I bring it up only because when I discovered the mess that the Sherlock fandom used to be, I found a striking resemblance with what I had witnessed when I was involved with the SW fandom. As I told a friend earlier, I'm convinced that if someone really believes in a theory, they'll find 'evidence' everywhere in the story that they are right. And if 'someone' is a group, it will quickly become an echo chamber. Shippers, antis, het ship, queer ship... The way social media are conceived will always favor that. It can actually be hard to navigate in those spaces without having a strong opinion on subjects such as shippings, I for example never could feel I belonged anywhere in terms of fandoms. But I like to think it allowed me to stay objective most of the time about this stuff, so well.
Adlock is not a big ship. Not even in the top 7, I think? TJLCrs believe since Irene is a lesbian and Sherlock is gay, shipping them is homophobic and deserving of mockery.
Duh accusing accusing people of anything because they ship two fictional characters is really a no-go for me, especially when the people who do that base their hate on their personal headcanon.
Sherlock was nowhere being close to be confirmed as homosexual in the BBC or the ACD canon; just because a man isn't interested in dating women, does it mean that he's more interested in dating men, just like a woman who's not interested in dating men isn't necessarily a lesbian. A media that shows a man not interested in dating women isn't necessarily meant to be interpreted as saying "this man's gay".
As for Irene, she fell in love with a man and married him in the ACD canon, and she had a canon crush on Sherlock in the BBC canon; IdK why they had her saying she was gay while a few minutes later she was making rather explicit sexual proposition to Sherlock -I think we, including Sherlock, all know that when she offered him to have dinner with her, it was a metaphor for sex....-, and I don't like it at all, but it's the way it is. Now, people can headcanon whatever they want, but calling others homophobic because they want a fictional man to kiss a fictional woman who's canonically attracted to him and proposed him to have sex is IMHO in no way justifiable. I know you didn't try to justify it btw, and you're right to point out that many Adlock shippers are queer themselves....
The way some fandoms clearly hate women is really appealing. It shows in the way they either villainize female characters or significantly reduce their importance in the male characters's life. Some go even as far as claiming they're not real characters but only living metaphors of said male characters's sexuality. In certain m/f ships, female characters are reduced to walking uterus and aren't allowed to have any other desire than becoming wives and mothers; damn them if they want friends and have other plans for their future, cause only the male character's happiness counts.
I'm all for tolerance towards headcanon's but the stuff I've read lately.... Big yikes.

I think I lied and I do want to be a Joseph apologist? Like I wished he talked to us more in the game because we don’t really get a good sense of him. It seems like cares personally about his siblings and his congregation, he seems to generally be a deeply convicted but kind of hippie-ish guy. So what happened for him to KILL at least two Faiths? What was going on with the whole Atonement thing? Assuming the Voice is real, how does the religion of Eden’s Gate play into the prepping?
He genuinely cares about his family (especially his siblings but also his followers) and his convictions are as sincere as they are extreme. He doesn’t see himself as a villain at all and has pure intentions, which is precisely why he is dangerous. If believing this makes you a “Joseph apologist”, then I am one too... and so are Greg Bryk and the writers because they said that multiple times in interviews! :)
I’ve always thought it was weird that we knew so little about the previous Faiths. You’d think characters would talk more about this subplot and that there would be more clues. Two or more women were Faith before Faith and at least one died; it’s not nothing! But all we have is:
Joseph’s line: “She was not the first to carry that name, but she was the most devoted”
The “Grieving Note” to Lana
The “Dirty Crumpled Letter” to Selena
“A Confession”, the note written by a Faith (clearly not Rachel)
An NPC saying, “[Rachel] is the latest in a long line of Faiths. Before this one, it was a girl named Selena. And before that, Lana” (I don’t even know if this line is still in the game or if it was cut).
Joseph is sincere and well-intentioned in Far Cry 5 but, during the game’s development, and especially before Greg Bryk was cast, it wasn’t always the case. There’s evidence he used to be a more villainous, more manipulative, and less honest man. Basically, the “early Joseph” was a more stereotypical cult leader. I’ve always wondered if him possibly killing the previous Faiths (I say “possibly” because we don’t know what exactly happened, just that Lana apparently died) is an idea the devs got when he was still this “shadier Joseph”, that they wanted to expand on, and then just kind of forgot about but didn’t completely remove from the game. I don’t know, maybe it was always supposed to be this mysterious and unexplored, but I’m surprised by how little information there is about something that, I think, should be far from anecdotal!
In the files, the Henbane River region is often called “SELENA” (Holland Valley is “JOHN” and the Whitetail Mountains are “NORTH”), so I also wonder if there was supposed to be only one previous Faith, Lana, and the current Faith’s real name was going to be Selena, not Rachel. NPCs also sometimes refer to Faith as Joseph’s “half-sister”, which implies they are related, and it’s a term the lead writer also used in several interviews. To me, it sounds like they explored a lot of options and scenarios regarding Faith and I can’t tell if Lana and Selena are also an (almost) abandoned idea or if they’re still totally canon.
If they are and it really was Joseph who got rid of them, he must have done it for a “good reason” (from his point of view, obviously), maybe because the Voice told him to. Greg Bryk was once asked about Faith in a convention and what, in his opinion, made a potential Faith a “good” Faith. The way he sees it, Joseph needs one because he misses “the maternal aspect of the feminine energy” in his life, a “Mother Earth energy”, even. Unlike John and Jacob, Faith is more of “an essence” and doesn’t have to be one specific person. He thinks that “when [Joseph] would lose faith, [he] would find another Faith”. The answer makes sense but it’s pretty vague and it doesn’t explain what happened to Rachel’s predecessors. I wonder if Greg Bryk even knows more about them or if that was just his personal theory.
As for the Atonement, it’s unclear whose idea cutting people’s skin off was. My guess is it was John’s, just like building and training an army was Jacob’s and drugging people was Faith’s. Joseph doesn’t seem to have a problem with the procedure, only with John’s zealousness (due to the intense and complicated relationship he has with pain… and to many unresolved issues), so I suppose it’s how the “Far Cry 5 God” actually wants people to Atone for their sins? Maybe the Voice asked them to do it that way? I wouldn’t be surprised, honestly. The Seeds believe they’re helping people and only doing what God wants, after all.
And the prepping makes sense because the Prophecy says the Apocalypse is coming and that they’ll need to survive for seven years in their bunkers. They have to save at least 3,000 “souls” so they need a lot of food and supplies!

Tumblr media
So I am very much an Anja apologist. Girl was totally justified.
Exhibit One:
Tumblr media
Girl is, like, super hot. And SHE’S 37! She has aged so well.
She’s also smart af. She speaks 6 languages fluently (German, English, French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch) and successfully scams her way into a very prestigious job that she is fully unqualified for experience-wise à la Sue Ellen Crandall in Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead. Nevertheless she excels at the job, impressing everyone, including ex boyfriend Markus.
It’s hard to believe there was any reason Markus would break up with her and he doesn’t really share any details, just kind of citing irreconcilable differences. The story we here from Anja tells another story completely.
According to Anja, she supported Markus, probably paying for everything while he “grew his business” or whatever crap finance bros say. Then, the second he made his first big deal, out she goes, replaced by the younger blonder (probably way stupider) model.
“This won’t get him back!” Nancy says, trying to reason with her.
“I don’t want him back. I’m about to end this man’s whole career,” Anja replies.
Tumblr media
Does she go a little too far with it? Yeah, sure.
Nancy implies that Anja is going to end up in jail for 20-30 years as a result of her actions. For what? I ask. She didn’t even make it to a point where you could really charge her with attempted murder. Sure she threatens Nancy but she doesn’t even manage to get close enough to touch her so 20-30 years seems steep. Criminal conspiracy maybe but that doesn’t seem like a multi decade kinda crime since she didn’t really do anything beyond running around pretending to be a monster and starting one fire that was contained and easily put out.
Also, how could she get a longer prison term than Dwayne Powers? Dude actively attempted to murder 3 people including planting a functional BOMB and he was put away for such a short period of time he hadn’t aged in the slightest. Even if we take the time between games, it’s only 10 years. How could he possibly get less time than Anja for a significantly greater crime? Is the legal system in Germany so much stricter?
I propose that the real answer is much darker than this. Markus uses his obscene wealth to ensure he gets proper, unjustified revenge upon his ex. Money can buy anything if you have enough of it, after all.
Conclusion: Nancy was partially right when she asks Markus if he’s responsible for the monster “attacks” at the beginning. He both created the “monster” (albeit somewhat accidentally) and is the true villain of the game.

So first of all, you do realize that A) Con and Taika are not friends irl, so it doesn't matter what Con likes or retweets, B) Con is a minor cast member at best, not a main actor, not playing a main character (I know it's hard for you disgusting Izzy apologists to believe, but it's true), and C) Con has no control or influence over Taika or his projects?
If Con mattered to the show, if Izzy mattered as more than the villain, he'd be doing interviews with the rest of the cast. Instead he's being gross by encouraging a bunch of women's toxic, abuse apologist attitudes towards queer men and queer mlm relationships, and... That's about it.
Finally. OFMD is NOT TAIKA'S SHOW. Just like, asshole, WWDITS IS NOT TAIKA'S SHOW. They are David Jenkins and Jemaine Clement's shows, respectively. Taika is barely involved, he's too busy bending over for Disney.
JFC. You fucking moron.
This seems to be in response to my post about a cowboy show for Taika…
I was just trying to have a little fun - I literally only mentioned that Con liked the Cowboy AU Izzy because it made me think more about the stuff that some fans had been talking about. There’s a surprising amount of fan works for that AU. And, of course I know Con doesn’t have creative influence on what happens in the show nor being super close with Taika. I just happen to follow him on Twitter.
I’m not an Izzy apologist. I think he’s a super interesting character and pushes the plot along. He should be held accountable for his actions and yes, he is supposed to be a jerk. He’s a villain after all. I want to see Stede and the crew succeed over Izzy - but it’s a TV show and a little character development isn’t terrible either. Izzy SHOULD be held accountable. And if you think I am an Izzy apologist because I’ve posted some art of him, no - I want to support the artists in the community. I have Jim, Frenchie, Stede, and Lucius art queued up too.
Look, some people are likely doing exactly what you say as an abuse apologist attitude. I agree, it’s wrong and hurts people. But I think that you might be generalizing too much, especially as again, I only think Izzy is a interesting character.
I’m part of the LGBTQ+ community. Yes, sure, I use she/they pronouns, but I would NEVER support something that hurt the community in the way that Izzy’s actions against the queer relationships in the show.
Also, this post was mainly about how I’d love to see Orville Peck involved in a show with Taika if there was ever a cowboy themed one. Orville Peck is a gay man. He’s an amazing person who is standing up for the community wherever he has the ability.
Truly, Orville Peck helped me accept my identity as well. I saw him in concert when I was still not sure about my identity and stood there being told that I was accepted. Just as Jim / Vico has, helping me accept that I don’t always feel like a woman - more that I honestly just don’t care. Just like Lucius has, helping me embrace my more flamboyant side and not being afraid to be open about my sexuality. I’m working on a Lucius cosplay because he reminds me a lot of myself (hopefully I’m not getting pushed overboard). And even though I don’t have a partner, Ed and Stede have helped me make more sense of romance and my emotions - especially as a demisexual and bisexual person. I’ve been confused about my identity and sexuality for SO LONG. This show has helped me so much. I wouldn’t want anything but the best for it.
I know OFMD and WWDITS are NOT Taika’s shows, but he’s involved and has influenced how the shows move forward. It’s a generalization that a lot of fans use. But, it’s a writer’s room led by David Jenkins, not just a writer. It’s just funny to me how there’s this group of shows that all have his involvement somehow. I mean, you’ll also see David Jenkins liking AUs that cast Taika as Sherlock Holmes and Rhys as Watson. Jemanie Clement and Taika have been friends and collaborators for a while too, it would be amiss to not say Taika has influence in some matter.
Let us have fun with the show. We’re in hiatus. Everyone’s brains are running wild and we want to know what happens to Stede, Ed, and everyone on the crew. After all, we talk it through as a crew.
The idea itself was never meant to directly affect OFMD either. I love the show for what it is and will take whatever David Jenkins wants to do for it. It was literally a casting idea for a small/bit part that would affect a show that doesn’t exist.
With sincerity,
Annie

TRAUMATIC EXPERIENCES C!TOMMY WENT THROUGH (ALL DSMP RP AND OFF THE TOP OF MY HEAD)
“Raised himself”, canonically said to have no family till Wilbur, kids got canon trauma we haven’t even witnessed
Fought in the independence war- the ages are iffy so either 16 or possibly younger, that would and did traumatise the ADULTS, his age makes it worse though.
Betrayed by Eret, a close friend and a part of what was essentially family to Tommy at the time.
Lost his first life, ouch.
Also witnessed his friends deaths
Had his home blown up (1st time)
Had his prized possessions, possibly even comfort items taken away from him forcibly on multiple occasions and then being forced to give them up for a war he never should have been a part of.
Lost his second life in a duel against an adult who should have known better, in a war he never should have fought in for a country his brotherly/parental figure created
I am very angry at the adults of the server if that’s not clear
Pressures of becoming vice president and helping run a nation (i have always been a c!Wilbur apologist but man am I slipping)
EXILED from his own home for essentially no reason alongside Wilbur.
Henry’s death, pets deaths can be traumatic under regular circumstances but he needed a break as it is.
Watching his brother slowly lose his mind
Wilbur manipulating and verbally abusing him in order to keep him on his side.
Having to talk down his own brother from terrorism
Watching his other brotherly figure and hero who he clearly looks up to kill his best friend and brother
THE PIT (believe it or not i love Technoblade i swear)
He witnessed multiple, I think, of Schlatts deaths
Fought in yet another big battle with life or death stakes.
Watched the nation he built get blown up by Wilbur, the guy he trusts the most and is most loyal to.
His hero, the blade, accuses him of being traitorous, one thing Tommy has never INTENTIONALLY been and something he believes Techno is being to him
His Hero telling him to die for trying to be a hero, something he never actually claimed to want to be, he is just a loyal kid following orders.
Techno setting Withers on Tommy and all his friends and making attempts on their lives
Philza, a hero Tommy looked up to killing the man who took him in and practically raised him, also solidifying the idea that Wilbur really was the villain likely making Tommy feel extreme guilt on multiple levels
Getting arrested and exiled for an act that not only wasn’t intentional but would not have led to such dire consequences if it were anyone else.
I’m saying it again- getting EXILED by his BEST FRIEND when he was still recovering from everything else and clearly not in a good mental state.
OOo if it isn’t the man who frequently hurt Tommy in the past and took his past two lives, let’s give him full control over him!
It’s okay though, at least he still has THE GHOST OF HIS DEAD BROTHER
Getting literally everything he owns taken away from him and blown up in front of him
Frequently being forced to do things with physical and verbal abuse
Being made reliant on Dream of all people
Getting very few visitors, some only there to mock him
SUICIDAL THOUGHTS
Being manipulated into believing no one cares about him except for Dream
Getting abandoned let again by his brother thanks to Dream, and frequently deprived of social interaction, something Tommy thrives off of
Didn’t Mexican Dream, one of his only friends at the time get murdered in front of him?
Multiple suicide attempts stopped by someone who only wanted him alive for fun
His home yet again getting blown up and him losing all his stuff, as well as pets.
Getting abused and blamed for everything by Dream
Having to turn to Technoblade of all people for help
Having Dream literally hunt him
Getting blamed for the community house, confirming his beliefs that everyone hated him, his best friend fighting him and giving up his most prized possession again
Having to choose between a friend and a nation he built (plus falling into the hands of dream)
Having his home blown up YET AGAIN by a BROTHERLY FIGURE who he TRUSTED. WHAT WERE YOU SAYING ABOUT HISTORY BEING REPEATED HUH TECHNOBLADE
Having to fight for his and Tubbos life against his abuser and a literal monster
Nearly having his best friend sacrificed
OH PRISON TIME LOSERS, literally trapped in a small confined space, with his former abuser, with lava, and obsidian.
DYING TO A POTATO
BEING IN THE AFTERLIFE, A VOID, WITH SCHLATT AND WILBUR.
The shock and sensory overload of being brought back to life
Thinking no one cared and seeing his friends seem to be doing better off without him
Ghostbur dying because of his mistake
Wilbur coming back

Get green man out of prison
To clarify before this starts, Dream is my favourite character. This doesn’t mean I am a c!Dream apologist, but I am sympathetic to his motivations. Objectively, he’s done horrible things, and he needs to be in prison with a life sentence, but looking at all the things that’s come out of this prison arc--
c!Dream needs to leave prison NOW. All this shit that’s been happening hasn’t been excusable since we found out Sam was abusing him in prison and it’s just getting worse.
Before y’all come at me with “but Dream designed the prison to be that way so he deserves it”. Consider this: if we are justifying the “hero’s” actions because that’s something the villain would have done, then maybe we need to think long and hard about how much of a “hero” this character truly is.
As much as we want to see Dream get his comeuppance, nothing he did justifies TORTURE. Treating him as sub-human is beyond wrong and doesn’t help ANYBODY. When he gets out, he’ll only be worse, and all of you are just gonna use his actions after this arc as justification to continue viewing him as the Devil incarnate.
An eye for an eye and the world goes blind, right?
Overall, I need this season to come to a point where the other characters (especially Quackity) finally acknowledge that Dream wasn’t the root of ALL problems on the server. They need to see that they themselves also have “villainous” sides to them, and that they’ve also caused conflict. I need their righteous fucking high horses to be shot down. They need to reflect and grow from this in a positive direction.
I have many thoughts about different characters so I’ll put a break here. Continue if you want to, I just need somewhere to vent
QUACKITY-- he’s done the exact same things Dream has. That’s not even up for debate at this point. Yes, it was to a lesser extent, but his entire character is that he wants power, and he’ll do almost anything to get it. Sounds familliar?
Well now you’re asking me: “why do you hate him and not Dream?”
Because Dream at least knows he’s the monster. Quackity doesn’t get to go to Dream and act all righteous and mighty in front of him, as if he’s not just as bad as Dream is. I’d even argue that HE’S A BETTER MANIPULATOR, because LITERALLY EVERYONE on the server has fallen for his heroic act. His behaviour just pisses me off to no end.
SAM-- listen. His character may be kinder than others, but he’s not as good of a person as the fandom paints him to be just because he sounds soft. He was neglectful of Tommy’s safety when he got trapped in the prison, and he’s willingly going against Dream’s safety now. Heck, he literally supported Quackity’s plan to torture Dream, and he abused Dream beforehand.
No matter how bad the prisoner was, it’s Sam’s DUTY as a guard to keep him safe, just as it’s his duty to keep him contained.
He sure picks and chooses which rules he follows, doesn’t he?
What does he think he’s going to accomplish by treating Dream like this? He’s literally affirming Dream’s belief that the only way to be safe on the server is to have power.
PUFFY-- I don’t watch Puffy’s streams often, so correct me if I’m wrong. I think she’s a pretty good character, but of course there are flaws to her that I think she needs to grow from. I hear she said that she wants to be a therapist, but that she won’t give Dream therapy because she believes he doesn’t deserve it. Newsflash, Puffy, everyone deserves the chance to go to therapy. I love how casually you’re dismissing his trauma.
If anyone needs therapy the most on the server, it’s Dream.
Why do I prioritize Dream’s therapy arc over Tommy’s? Because Dream’s trauma tends to manifest in a way that gets everyone around him hurt or killed. Once he leaves prison, it’s just going to hurt more people.
(Don’t tell me Dream doesn’t have any trauma. When the server began, Dream was THE mediator, he was THE pacifist. Clearly all wars and conflict that went on changed him into the person he is now.)
DREAM-- Dream’s been a scapegoat ever since Wilbur painted him as the villain in the first war. But I do not believe he was a villain until season 2 began. In short, I am a season 1 Dream apologist and a season 2 Dream sympathizer.
While Quackity parallels Dream in all his terrible actions, I think Ranboo’s Dream’s parallel in the sense that Ranboo is what Dream could have been.
Both Ranboo and Dream began as pacifists who were forced into facing war and conflict. Ranboo was able to handle it in a healthier way, and it allowed his character to grow in a positive direction despite his trauma. Dream was painted as the villain, and instead of proving everyone wrong, said fuck it and fell into the role.
I really hope Dream isn’t beyond changing his world view. While I know the writer probably won’t go down this route, I would love to see him navigate the hardships in order to escape the role of a villain. Granted, if he ever gets a “redemption arc”, it must be handled in a very carful manner, and he should have to work hard for it.
Jesus Christ I wrote a whole essay. I doubt anyone made it this far down, but I’d be happy to have a civil discussion in my asks or replies. Let’s roleplay English majors. I wanna talk

as a c!dream enjoyer™ (not an apologist!!!), I just . Do Not take any of the dream apologist stuff seriously. like idk if it's because I was a long time on kpop stan twt and learnt that people are simply just not worth my nerves sometimes (lmao), but every time I see a Hot Take how he did nothing wrong I just point and laugh bc hehe clowns! and then i hit the block button.
like dream is a fascinating character and such a good villain in how utterly reprehensible and horrible he is, and how well cc!dream crafted him (like, nobody can deny how cool it is when he could literally make ppl have goosebumps by simply logging on) (i think it's similar to how people enjoy horror media?), also as a person with too much emphathy (it's a trauma thing I think, at least that's what I was told by doctors lmao) it's also very interesting to me how i can still feel bad for an obviously irredeemable villain (the sapnap visit when he went into the water with him?? broke my heart. the scream when quackity first began his girlbossing? wow), like, it's fun to see him win (bc he's just a cool character for me) but it's also VERY fun to see him lose, he's just so hateable! absolutely horrible, I love the it
also I have a weakness for the blob design bc it's simply cute for me 😔 liddol evil blob man. why don't they simply trap him in a little box? oh wait-
so basically it's like, evil horrible green blob boy pissbaby (derogatory) (derogatory) (derogatory) (derogatory) (affectionate)
(this is all meant in a light-hearted manner and is absolutely not meant to undermine the seriousness of c!dream's actions in canon btw, it's just how I personally consume c!dream content jdbfjfn)
i agree with all of this!! cc!dream is so talented at writing horror, and i genuinely enjoy c!dream because of it. i dont talk about it a lot, but i enjoy the (mild) horror genre and dream is SO good at it.
like, because this is mainly an analysis blog about characters thoughts and motives i dont talk about dream much, since we don’t have his pov and i dont feel comfortable speculating why he might choose to do the absolutely gross things he does.
BUT. when im sitting and watching and just being a fan. HOLY COW is dream great. he’s scary, and he makes you wonder. i am SO excited to see dreams pov when we get it because i think cc!dream knows what he’s doing and will give us something great.
c!dream is absolutely vile and i love it. of course i would prefer he never be within 100 ft of tommy tubbo of ranboo again, but that’s a different matter >:]

Its kinda tragic that i really dislike the way this fandom always start some discourse but i am know for writing crit essays
I wasn't an essay writer, my first writing for this fandom were oneshots, way back Manberg era
I only started with essays during New L'Manberg bc I got tired to see everyone shiting on Fundy's arc on Doomsday without even paying attention to it. And those people, surprise surprise, were the new ones to the fandom that didn't even bothered to check all the background
Same happened to tommy stans. The exile arc was the breakdown and the start of a hell to those guys. For the first time people had to defend their characters bc people kept pointing fingers instead of just watching the story. This was the moment we first used the apologist term
It all snowballed, we fought fire with fire, and now the only way to get our point across is writing big essays with vod links just so we explain why we like a character or why we don't
Ofc its all the evolution of the story as well, back at the day it was everyone vs dream and schlatt. Then the villains started to shift among the different povs, and now its a mess, everyone is the villain in the others stories. But that doesn't mean we are bad people for liking certain characters
I love Wilbur's and Q's characters bc i saw their evolution until now. Do I agree with them? Ofc not, i could push c!wilbur of a cliff if given the chance, but I still like rat man
U guys like c!dream? Ok man, pop off, just dont deny the shit he did. C!tubbo, c!tommy, c!ranboo and many other? Just go for it, just remember people with other main pov have a reason to dislike them
Just.... Chill down guys, its just a block game

Doomsday: Rambling about c!Tommy and his relationship with c!Techno
Again, all roleplay. Swearing and opinions ahead!
I think the problem with Tommy's character is that everywhere he goes, there's tragedy.
I can assure you that even if he gave up the discs a long time ago, Dream would still be at his tail because he even said, "[Tommy] You're fun to play with." Dream would just move on and target L'manberg or worse, Tubbo. Because Dream doesn't like anyone who questions his utter control of power and you know, with or without the discs, Tommy will still go against Dream cus honestly same. (He is such a bitchboy dickhead fucker. Anyone who has a crush on c!Dream please check on yourself.)
In short, Dream would remain the constant in Tommy's story with or without the discs. Dream will be there to destroy everything he's worked for. Dream would be there to twist his words and actions. Dream would be there to manipulate the people he loves against him.
The SMP will still believe that Tommy is the main cause of all the server's problems. Partly because of Dream's mindgames but at the same time, it's because he's easiest to blame. (S1 and S2: "This is all Tommy's fault" *looks at Dream, El Rapids, Captain Puffy, Vilbur, George etc etc*)
Everyone sees Tommy as reckless and selfish. They say he steals for his own benefit. They say he griefs and is the reason the server looks as blown up as it is. They say he never learns from his lessons.
But you see, as much as these sentences are partially true (I'll admit it okay. I'm a tommyinnit apologist after all), they can never be more wrong. He's being framed for blowing up at least 4 server buildings for god's sake. Also, how do you expect a kid to "learn his lesson" when you use violence, manipulation, and trauma to teach it? Like it seems like you're taking inspiration from Asian parents but let me tell you, it doesn't work.
I can guarantee you that blowing up a child's home will not teach him about the failures of government. I can assure you that bringing him back to his abuser will not give him character development. I can 100% say that blaming the kid for every time you're home got destroyed will not repair it. It will just break the kid more.
And despite that, Tommy still remains the most strong willed of the server. Why? Say thanks to Vilbur and his nightmares woohoo. He doesn't blame the SMP for leaving him, wanting to put it behind him to save his home. He always knows that Dream is just puppeteering everyone and that's why, even with Techno, he was so adamant in bringing him down. (I remember when Ghostbur asked him who blew up NLM, Tommy immediately answered Dream sith conviction and said Techno and Phil with a little bit more hesitance which is just hnggggg). This is not even touching the amount of sacrifices Tommy has given to protect the people and places he loved.
He doesn't want to be the bad guy like Vilbur said. And he will always strive against it in the ways he knows how. Protect Tubbo. Protect L'manberg. Get discs. Kill Dream.
And that's what Techno does not understand. He is completely valid in his quest for revenge but fails to take into account Tommy's trauma specifically the trauma he himself has inflicted on the kid. For someone who says healing takes time, he fails to see that Tommy is scared of what he has become and is trying to escape from that. He fails to see that the one thing Tommy needs is a sense of normalcy and his home: L'manberg. (And honestly, they both fail in that regard but the difference is Techno can carry himself in a 1v30 and can always count on Phil. Tommy can't say the same. And besides Techno isn't the target of a literal god who doesn't have any morals. At least, not yet......)
But Geese, you say. "Tommy's selfish for leaving Techno after everything Techno has done for him." Stfu, you sound like my mom. Yes, Tommy's relationship with Techno, by far, is the healthiest one Tommy has ever had on the server. But I don't think it's healthy to say Tommy owes Techno for being treated like a human? That should be given fact! Tommy should be treated with care and that shouldn't come with a price. Yes, Techno deserves the care to be reciprocated as well but Tommy has done that. Before he sided with Tubbo, he always acted on what he thinks would make Techno proud. You would know if you watched his streams.
So Tommy, after seeing the destruction of his home, tired of everyone seeming to act against him, calls Techno selfish and a tyrant. Cus honestly he is. Tommy is right in saying how Techno could have compromised. He could have targeted the Butcher army. Gotten leverage. Done minor terrorism like they planned to. Quackity was on his last life for fuck's sake (I have such a vendetta against c!Quackity and I am not afraid to say it). But to destroy L'manberg was overstepping it because other people lived there. He lived there. In Tommy's eyes, if Techno did consider him as friends, he would've spared L'manberg. (Also the tnt was just overkill like really dude. It was cool at first but it was also kind of not especially with c!Dream acting like a prick with it.) And it's heartbreaking seeing both sides. (Which not a lot of people consider in the fandom but who am I to complain.) They care about each other but not in what they believe in and their methods.
And yet the fandom, at least what I saw from people livetweeting on twitter, is just "Tommy is selfish." And last night, I was like that because I was so goddamn tired of the discs but then I realized, after everything that happened during Doomsday, that's the only thing he can count on to give him some sense of power against the one person he knows that started it all. Yes, I agree. Tommy shouldn't care about the discs anymore but I think he already has this unspoken rule within himself that it's okay for Dream to burn the discs due to the many times he has said to just burn the discs. This frees himself from upcoming manipulation. He just needs it to control Dream in return.
I can't wait for Wilbur to come back. Because I truly believe that he is the only one who fully understands Tommy (pre-exile of course). I just want Tommy to have a therapy arc or some shit man.
Sidenote: It's really infuriating how other people can have their "villain arcs" but once Tommy says discs everyone just points a gun at him. I am so tired.
Anywayz, c!Tommy is a traumatized kid. c!Techno is justified but honestly overkilled it (but hey that's Techno for ya). c!Phil is still a shit father. c!Tubbo should be checked on. I want to punch c!Quackity in the face (also c!HBomb but that's another long talk and I aksksjsjk, whatdoesthedoghavetodowithanything *silently screams*). I don't trust any adult on this server other than c!Sam, c!Ponk, and c!Connor (it feels weird to say c!Connor but we gotta get crumbs of his lore). We should talk about how c!Captain Puffy is one of the main culprits that started all of this mess. And, it's all c!George and c!Dream's fault. Amen.

Tumblr media

(𝐏𝐄𝐍)𝐍𝐀𝐌𝐄: lucifer. i also answer to lu and "OH GOD WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?!" and The King of Angst.     𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐒: he / him.     𝐙𝐎𝐃𝐈𝐀𝐂: pisces.     𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐋𝐄 / 𝐓𝐀𝐊𝐄𝐍: single as can be and ready to mingle for free. ( you just have to accept that cas will be part of my life. it's like the whole 'if you love me then you have to love x too'. )
— 𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐄𝐄 𝐅𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐒
𝐢. i’ve been writing since i could hold a pencil and knew how to string words together; basically ... oh, since the first grade? yeah. i've got over 30 years of writing to my name. i hope it shows, lmfao.
𝐢𝐢. i genuinely struggled with writing aizen how i wanted for a very long time. i tried out many different headcanons and ways of depicting him and was never satisfied until only the last couple years. i very nearly gave up on writing him, actually, and if it hadn't been for cas and his helping me yell and scream about aizen on a regular basis, i don't know if i would have gotten here. but man oh man, i'm so damn happy of how far i've come with him. he's mine. kubo signed the adoption papers over to me.
𝐢𝐢𝐢. i'm always going to write villains, i think. i take great pride in giving villains a very humanizing quality while maintaining how dangerous and terrible they are. am i an apologist? yeah, sometimes. but i also very much recognize that they're villains and i'm not going to take that from the characters that i write. i want you to empathize with my muses, to sympathize with them, to make you hug them --- and i want you to be ready to kill them if it comes down to it too.
— 𝐄𝐗𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄
oh man, when it comes to roleplay, my experience is pretty damn varied, lmfao. i've tried out everything that could be named as a roleplay venue. i do remember i started off writing ( very fucking cringe ) fic and editing fics that i had loved when i was much much much younger and then i found roleplay forums when i was, oh ... 13 or 14. but that wasn't all i tried. i did forums, i've done chatroom roleplays, i even had an actual pen and paper roleplay notebook i traded back and forth with a friend in high school. AOL, Chatzy, YIM --- i did plenty of chatrooms. and there's roleplay sites besides tumblr that i've been on.
i actually got pulled to tumblr by someone on a now fairly dead ( apart from a hardcore crowd of lingering patrons ) chat roleplay site and while i have no idea of where that friend's gone off to, they got me into tumblr at around, oh ... late 2010, if i remember the date correctly. i stopped using tumblr for a month or two, then i came back to it and i've been well ensconsced in tumblr since then. i've been on another roleplay site since 2009 and as such, my experience with roleplay is pretty extensive. i even tried roleplay on MySpace and Facebook and even Twitter of all places. yeah. i also roleplay through google docs and on Discord so there's plenty for me to say i'm familiar with.
so i definitely have plenty of experience when it comes to writing. lmfao.

yes, my muses have always always always been villains. i actually started writing canon muses via sephiroth over ten years ago ( i've been writing sephiroth nearly 15 years, actuall ) and from there the road has led me to acquiring villains left and right. i genuinely don't tend to write protagonists very often, or if i do? they're usually very morally gray.
i think the most 'good' characters that i write are orihime, haruno sakura ( though my muse for her is super dusty. i miss writing sakura. she was always ready to put naruto and sasuke into headlocks to smack their skulls together to hear the sound of solid bone meeting solid bone. ), and my warrior of light. and my wol is kind of -- becoming more morally gray herself, given ALL of fucking 6.0 and what happened in there ( venat, turn on your location, I JUST WANT TO TALK. ) and what she found out. legit, xel is feral and she deserves to be feral, especially given that she really wants to bite her love interest whether or not he's dead. she'll do it. trust me, she'll do it.
villains just make my brain vibe far more than not, truthfully. making people see my muses as people is my jam. i think the best damn compliment i can receive ( and i've gotten it more than once in my time ) is being told that i've made someone rethink their stance on a character and they like him because of me. because tbh most of my muse stable is villainous men. so yeah. i'm definitely always likely to be writing awful terrible men and i thrill in writing those awful terrible men and making people cry over them.

𝐅𝐋𝐔𝐅𝐅: fluff isn't something i write in public too often with aizen but god yes. i can't do angst all the time but i fucking love fluff so much.
𝐒𝐌𝐔𝐓: OF COURSE??? i'm wildly fond of smut. smut is glorious. it's about the intimacy and the trust and the horny brain.
𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐒𝐓: i collect tears of those i hurt with the angst i write and i drink them. :) that should tell you all that you need to know.

i'm good with either, honestly! i don't mind sketching in some skeleton of a plot, maybe feeding it an anemic bit of substance to figure out the direction, and taking off from there. but i've alsy had very compelling storylines come out of sending in memes or being sent a meme so they're both very good options. i'm happy with a pre-brainstormed plot or a random thing which comes out of a meme. they're both very good in my opinion, i think. why bother limiting myself in any fashion, i say.
