Now that the Olympics are done and dusted, good ol' Bill Cipher and his book of horrors are back on top (of this list, your hearts, and bestseller lists). With more fanfics than ever, Deadpool and Wolverine may very well be next in line to dethrone the reigning Marvel ship, Spideypool. Conversation about the latest and final season of The Umbrella Academy continues, and some very expensive preorders have popped up for the upcoming Dragon Age sequel, The Veilguard. The Next Prince, ep 5-7 - A fun batch of episodes. Chakri is my favorite.

Pit Babe {rewatch} - I got most of the way through the first season, in an effort to refresh my memory on the side pairings and some of the lore. It's still very good on rewatch and Pavel remains the best thing about it.

Pit Babe 2, ep 8 - Big reveals this week and you can tell it's headed into the final stretch. But it's still a highlight of the week. Full recap here.

Reset, ep 3 - Armin is surprisingly upfront about having future knowledge and it makes me wonder if that's significant or if it's just a comedy bit. It's early enough that it's still possible Thada came from a different timeline too. My full recap is here.

It's been a thirsty week on ye olde tumblr dot com

It is a truth universally acknowledged that Deadpool & Wolverine is about as gay as it gets without kissing—though some of you are convinced they did, in fact, have relations in that car. For Jujutsu Kaisen fans, some fears were apparently confirmed, and you are all feeling many feelings about that. The Book of Bill was released last week to much acclaim here on Tumblr, and you all keep on proving you really do love a sexyman, whatever shape he might take. It was a very low key week, but Reset and Murderbot made up for it.

Murderbot s1 {finished: 4.5 stars} - This turned out to be a great adaption for a book that I loved. Yes, the episodes are way too short but everything else was excellent. I'm so glad we are getting a season two.

new year's planning...also oops cuz i just realized i made a typo (no way would i survive a one-month long course in organic chem...thank god they don't exist 😅)

honestly so not ready to go back to school, i just wanna finish all the programming courses i started and read all the journal articles i want to (they're a large contributor to the many browser tabs i have open 😭). it's not because i don't like what i'll be learning about - the journal articles i'm reading are on life sciences topics after all. i dread the rigidity and unforgivingness of the semester and lonely feelings that come with it. i feel so much more free and like i have a choice in how i spend my days when i'm not in school.
