Now that the Olympics are done and dusted, good ol' Bill Cipher and his book of horrors are back on top (of this list, your hearts, and bestseller lists). With more fanfics than ever, Deadpool and Wolverine may very well be next in line to dethrone the reigning Marvel ship, Spideypool. Conversation about the latest and final season of The Umbrella Academy continues, and some very expensive preorders have popped up for the upcoming Dragon Age sequel, The Veilguard. I am sure Bowie has reserved a special dungeon in Mel’s hole for that little bastard. Did you ever see that Vanilla Ice movie, where he steals this college girl from her boring frat boyfriend? That was such a dumb movie. “Drop the zero and get with the hero.” When Vanilla Ice said that, I was thinking I liked the zero, and the hero can go to Mel’s hole.

♀️ ☍ ♄︎ You sometimes are what you are Not. Not by doing, but by being able and unable. Bowie says the TRUTH hurts like hell, because letting go of your EGO, in order for growth, can be a transformation and some FEAR change. We ALL have a responsibility to challenge are own beliefs, especially when those beliefs directly harm the lives of others. I don’t think Bowie wanted to be our Satan, but he is the Satan we deserve, if you are an innocent stuck in a hole.

🌝 ☍🌞 A cute Beaver was gathering sticks by my tent. Then I heard him cry and run away. In the distance I heard a black bobcat growl. This morning I saw the gnawed on branch the beaver left. Next to the branch was a hammer lying on the ground. It wasn’t there before, but I remember recently seeing it in the garage. My guess is that my father may have gone outside last night to bash my brains out, but was startled by the animals, whom act more human than him. It’s just a guess, but he was talking about how much he hates me, for no reason, all day.

If you watched NMIXX's Track Listening Session for "Fe3O4: STICK OUT", then you might recall that the Korean title "별별별" for "See that?" has two meanings. One is "different/other" which aligns with the word "weirdo" from the lyric translations (plus how NMIXX's music is different from most groups), & the other is "star" which aligns with how NMIXX still shines in their own fandom/community! Since this CD is a continuation of their previous CD, "See that?" also makes me think of "DASH".

I have a lot of favorite B-sides again!

"SICKUHH": The full version is out! The only thing that the visualizer didn't include was everything from "(Temperature has reached critical level)" & beyond. Cheers to 6 all-rounders!

"BEAT BEAT": This is very upbeat & sounds like an anime opening song! ("Moving On" didn't appeal to me, but I agree with the others who said that this sounds like an anime ENDING song.)

"Red light sign, but we go": This song sounds familiar, but I can't recall from where. This also makes me think of (G)I-DLE for some reason. ^-^"

My last post has been 1.5 years ago and yet, the reason I'm writing again is still K. I'm still with him, can you believe. And we're moving in together in October. I'm having my doubts about whether or not this is a good decision but there's no way back now so I just push those doubts away. Remember when he told me time and time again I should voice my feelings and needs, I should just communicate. Well, I did just that about an hour ago maybe and he hasn't talked to me since after he completely dismissed my feelings. He didn't even apologise. So now I'm here on his couch, close to tears while he's in the bedroom, probably boiling with rage cause that's all he knows. Rage. I don't know whether he's angry at himself or at me but I'm scared, I don't know what to do. My stomach hurts, I feel so helpless.

I choose to believe that SF9's latest comeback is about how to cope with/recover from breaking up with the summer season, rather than with an actual person. (Other HIGH RECOMMENDED methods include listening to "Summer Breeze" in Korean, Japanese, AND Chinese.) Zuho isn't in this mini album (it's complicated), so Hwiyoung has most of the rap lines. According to the guys, there are 5 methods on "How to get over a break up":

A restaurant that erases memories: This reminds me of memory-erasing soup from Chinese mythology (click here for more info). The menu looked appealing (aside from the repetitive "to erase memories"), so I might become a frequent customer!

Fresh start from coin laundry: Doing laundry is a tedious task, but it's a necessary evil when eliminating all traces of the former significant other... I mean summer... And I'm 99% sure Chani will break the washing machine by throwing the two rings & the ring box inside. (I also can't dissociate laundromats from Jihyo after "Killin' Me Good" came out.)

A car wash to wash pain: The fact that there are doodles all over the car WINDSHIELD is questionable enough. But yes, all that needs to be washed away. This set reminds me of "SCREAM".

The last message at Payphone: It's not raining (just a dark background), but this set reminds me of "BIBORA". A final call via payphone sounds appropriate since Hwiyoung's phone got a lot of generic break-up texts during the diner scene. (pretty sure many people are getting back-to-school reminders as well)
