The Rami Malek movie The Amateur from 20th Century Studios takes the old date of Deadpool 3, that being November 8, 2024. The pic, directed by James Hawes, follows a CIA cryptographer who, after his wife is killed in a London terrorist attack, demands his bosses go after them. When it becomes clear they won’t act due to conflicting internal priorities, he blackmails the agency into training him and letting him go after them himself.
From left: The new 'Captain America' movie, 'Avatar 3', new 'Alien' film and new 'Blade' movie among the major release date changes for Disney /Everett Collection
‘Thunderbolts’, ‘Blade’, ‘Avengers: Kang Dynasty’, ‘Secret Wars’ Among Disney Release Date Changes Due To WGA Strike
It feels like Covid all over again, but it’s not. Disney has just made a slew of release-date changes, many due to the impact of the WGA strike and screenplays not being ready and productions paused.
We already know that Thunderbolts and Blade are waiting the strike out before rolling cameras. Scripts aren’t fully ready in regards to the new Avengers movies. Avengers: Kang Dynasty goes from May 2, 2025, to May 1, 2026. Avengers: Secret Wars is also pushed another year from May 1, 2026, to May 7, 2027.
We told you that 2023 largely was safe in regards to staying intact (knock on wood), but the ramifications of the writers strike and productions paused will be felt throughout 2024 and beyond. Commence the great release-date shuffle by the motion picture studios.
Also the other delay here with the MCU titles is that Disney wants to make sure they’re better — better than what they’ve been doing from script stage to VFX in the wake of fan pans and lower post-pandemic box office results for such films as Eternals, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Thor: Love & Thunder and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
First major change is that the untitled Deadpool movie will fire off next summer, May 3, while Captain America: Brave New World, gets pushed to July 26, 2024. Thunderbolts stays in 2024, moving off July 26 to December 20. Deadpool 3, in a vote of confidence moves up from Nov. 8, 2024.
Blade goes from September 6, 2024, to Feb. 14, 2025 — that Valentine’s Day/near Presidents Day frame which has been a sweet spot for MCU.
Fantastic Four shifts deeper into 2025, from February 14 to May 2.
Avatar 3 officially is delayed a year from December 20, 2024, to December 19, 2025. Which thus pushes other sequels from James Cameron as Avatar 4 shifts from December 18, 2026, to December 21, 2029, and Avatar 5 goes from December 22, 2028, to December 19, 2031. While these scripts already are locked, the shift of movies due to the WGA strike is pushing the Avatar sequels around. Producer Jon Landau said the following today about the moves:
The Star Wars movies, which still are being baked, are getting kicked down the road like cans: One of them goes from December 19, 2025, to May 22, 2026. A another untitled one gets added on December 18, 2026.
The new live-action Moana movie with Dwayne Johnson has staked out the summer date of June 27, 2025, about a week earlier from its previous July 2 date.
The new Alien movie, which is shooting overseas, takes the Disney RSVP date of August 16, 2024.
Disney also has RSVP’d the following dates for untitled films: September 6, 2024; March 21, 2025 (instead of April 11, 2025); a Marvel movie for July 25, 2025; August 8, 2025 (instead of August 15 that year); and an MCU title on November 7, 2025. A Disney movie that was set for May 22, 2026, has been removed from the schedule.

Vau’sena announces Invasion of Blackbird Criopt
[Federal Kingdom of Vau’sena, Cosona, Asdas- 20 April 2052
Annalies Willems, Cosonan News Network]
Today, two weeks after the government’s ultimatum towards the Holy Resurrection of Dhraul (more commonly referred to by their alias, the Blackbirds) was met by a direct attack against President Ataahua Parata and 25 days after the brutal terrorist attacks committed by the interim government which left over 2,100 dead across Vau’sena, the Federal Kingdom of Vau’sena has finally made its course of action clear: A surprise invasion of Blackbird-controlled Southern Criopt which has already begun. The Vau’senaan invasion of Blackbird Southern Criopt commenced just after 2:50 AM local time with simultaneous landings on the small island of Pylerick in the Led Eteijer Sea and on the main island of Criopt near the city of Soucanard. In preparation for today’s attack, Vau’senaan landing parties have been outfitted with high-mobility climbing gear and fall protection, night-vision equipment, and magic protection consisting of gasoline spray for extinguishing Dhrallic fire and Valtanach copper armor inserts, which reduces damage taken by magical attacks by converting between 30-35% of magic which strikes it into ice. Today’s landing parties additionally have two Dhrallic guides each assigned to them to assist with navigating Dhraul’s notoriously difficult terrain, which is dotted with gravity-defying vertically-aligned magical cities and towns. The first landing parties have started their landings by offering food, medicine, and clean water on Vau’senaan-flagged landing drones going in front of them as a sign of good will, which has reportedly been met with varying levels of success by commanders on the ground.
Today’s landing has been prefaced by months of trouble between Vau’sena and the Fletaute-based breakaway Blackbird government in southern Criopt. A marketplace bombing in Valtinn, Turifeth in February leaving 11 dead along with the now-infamous 26 March attacks have left the Vau’senaan populace reeling and desperate for answers from the government on a possible response, which has drawn much criticism for its tight-lipped approach following initial announcements at the time of the attack. The death toll of the 26 March attacks has climbed to 2,140 as the cause of death begins to shift from direct injuries received at the sites of the attacks to those caused by longer-term issues such as respiratory disease from toxic smoke inhalation.
The nation was also shocked by an ambitious magical attack delivered by the Blackbird leader Zuriel Nash against President Ataahua Parata on the 6th, in which a magical letter addressed to be from the Dhrallic Hoor government leader Logh McCarish exploded into magical flame, blinding President Parata and bearing reminiscence to Nash’s paralyzing attak against Cosonaan President Samuel Titus in 2026. President Parata stood beside Queen Lucerne I as the Queen delivered the announcement in a press conference at the Royal Palace this morning. President Parata and Cosonaan Representative Arcisio Batzi revealed during the press conference that the Stadta’asembli’enn Vau’senaan voted in secret in 81% favor of the invasion on the 10th of this month.
Queen Lucerne I currently rests in a difficult position as she works to combat both Blackbird aggression to the north and to contain a provocative Ilfiatist Korlan under Ikaroa Storinka to the south with the help of the Southern Alliance. Vau’sena has yesterday afternoon offered an exchange of 20 nonviolent Korlua prisoners who are serving time on charges from corporate espionage to money laundering in exchange for the safe return of Vau’senaan citizens trapped in Korlan. The two governments are expected to meet later today to discuss staff rotations in the Vau’senaan embassy and its associated consulates in Korlan, which have been delayed for three weeks as a result of Korlanic restrictions on the freedom of movement and diplomatic immunity of Vau’senaan diplomatic staff.
The nation sits on the edge of its seat. The Criopt Campaign marks a turning point for the Vau’senaan government as it finally involves itself in the so-called Mosaic Wars of a Great Hegi in collapse after nearly three years sitting on the sidelines. Whether it’s in the Blackbird center of power in Fletaute or in the soggy marshes of rural Criopt, Vau’sena is in a race to hunt down Zuriel Nash- before she disappears for good.

Another long one.
Bob Jones University has the enviable reputation of presenting one of the finest cultural series to be offered anywhere in America. Certainly no other university offers as many top quality programs featuring internationally known artists as does the opera, concert, and drama series at BJU.
This season's programs will include a grand opera, two Shakespearean productions, a chamber symphony, a concert pianist, a musical drama, a vocal duet, a folk singer, and Verdi's "Requiem.
Nine programs are included in the series, and a limited number of season subscriptions are still available at the programs and productions office for $12.50 each. Individual tickets to the one-night performances will not be available.
All programs are presented in Rodeheaver Auditorium, and curtain time is 8 p.m.
Opening the 1967-68 series Oct. 24 will be Benjamin Britten's moving musical drama, "Curlew River." featuring a company of 25 including first desk players of the Little Orchestra Society and members of the Concert Opera Association of New York. Thomas Scherman will be musical director of the company.
The famed Bob Jones University Classic Players will present Shakespeare's "As You Like It," Thanksgiving Thursday and Friday, Nov. 23 and 24. The Shakespeare repertoire group is listed by the international "Shakespeare Survey" as one of the "noteworthy classic repertoire companies" in the United States.
On Dec. 7 Guiseppe Campora -- the distinguished young leading tenor of the Metropolitan Opera and La Scala, Milan -- joins his talents with one of America's most beautiful and gifted singing actresses, Dorothy Coulter, for a delightful evening of opera arias and duets.
Following a highly successful career in Europe. Campora made his Metropolitan Opera debut in 1955 in the role of Rodolfo in "La Boheme." Miss Coulter, a soprano, also made her debut at the Met in "La Boheme." She has appeared with major opera companies in this country and in Europe and has been featured in leading roles in several productions on NBC-TV opera.
America's first permanent chamber symphony -- the Chamber Symphony of Philadelphia -- will be heard in a concert Feb. 1. The symphony, composed of 36 players, will present a program featuring masterpieces of the baroque and romantic periods as well as compositions by outstanding contemporaries, some of which have been especially commissioned.
Anshel Brusilow, conductor, made his debut as a violinist at Carnegie Hall when he was just 17. He has conducted the world renown Philadelphia Orchestra and other major symphonies. Most recently, he was guest conductor of the National Symphony in Washington, D.C.
'The fifth program of the series will feature Stephen Bishop, American-born prodigy pianist, in a recital March 4. The 26-year-old pianist appeared with the San Francisco Symphony while still in his teens.
On March 28 and 30 the Bob Jones University Opera Association will present a fully staged production of Verdi's opera, "Rigoletto." Guest soloists from the Metropolitan and other leading opera companies include Sherrill Milnes, baritone, as Rigoletto; Doris Yarick, soprano, as Gilda; John Craig, tenor, as the Duke; and Ara Berberian, bass, as Sparafucile.
The latter two singers have appeared in BJU Opera Association productions on previous occasions Mr. Berberian sang in "Faust" in 1964, and Mr. Craig was heard in "Lucia di Lammermoor" in 1965.
The artistry of singer-guitarist Kay Britten has been heralded throughout England and the United States. She will present a recital at BJU April 30. Having a high degree of artistic integrity and devotion to folk music in its original and authentic form, she brings a dimension all her own to folk music. Her unusually large repertoire includes songs in several languages, and she has a particular interest in songs of the British Isles.
A highlight of the university's commencement week activities will be the second production of the season by the BJU Classic Players -- Shakespeare's "King Lear," on May 23 and 28. Dr. Bob Jones Jr., president of the university, will portray the title role.
The ninth and final production of the season will be Verdi's "Requiem," which will be presented May 25 and 27 by the BJU Oratorio Society and Symphony Orchestra. Guest artists singing the solo roles include Walter Fredericks, Peter Harrower, and Miss Antonio Kitsopoulos.

Level 3 Studentpreneur: Midterm Pitch & After Pitch Marketability
Midterm Pitch
The midterm pitch was one of the most memorable and hectic events of my university life. A week before the midterm pitch commenced, I and my group mates were just prioritizing our major subjects. We had a lot of deadlines to catch up on and heavy reporting to prepare for. Especially me, I was heavily preparing for a reporting/mock defense wherein I was tasked to report and defend a study of my choice that corresponds to the specialization and field that I want to pursue. My schedule for reporting was on the same week as the pitching. I must say that we neglected the ‘Entrepreneurial Mind’ subject.
The reporting session on February 26, 2024, went exceptionally well for me, bringing me a sense of accomplishment. However, the imminent midterm pitch on March 1, 2024, left us in a state of panic, as we had only four days to prepare (after my report and after prioritizing the major subjects). Despite having received instructions and necessary guidance from our instructor, we found ourselves clueless about what to include and present during the pitch.
Days passed by and we made little progress in the preparation of the materials to be used during the pitching. On the day before the pitching, there we realized that we have still so much to do. Our financial statement was misaligned, and various details needed urgent attention. In an attempt to seek assistance, one of my group mates suggested consulting a friend who possessed some knowledge in these areas. My groupmate arranged a Google meeting to address different problems with our pitching. There we met her mother who was a quality assurance director of a university in CARAGA. We were all shocked and shy throughout the meeting because she said that it was only a friend. We really did not know that she invited her mother to help us in addressing the problem that we encountered in preparing for the pitching. However, we gained a lot of insights and we took into heart all of the pieces of advice that she shared. Inspired by her guidance, we committed ourselves to addressing the areas that required improvement. Determined to make the best of the situation, we pulled an all-nighter, sacrificing sleep and arriving at school with weary eyes, clearly displaying the toll of our efforts. We were the last to pitch and we could hear all of the questions and advices from all of the previous groups who pitched. Fifteen minutes before our pitching, I heard a question about the financial statement from a previous group. We created a financial statement but it was very generalized which was a problem. There and then we pulled a new and more comprehensive financial statement just 15 minutes before we pitched. Pitching made me nervous and as the panel became more curious and enthusiastic about our innovation, we had a good time attending their queries. All of their advices were took into heart and was used to improve in the upcoming final pitching. It was a nerve-wracking but a good experience for me. I think that we really rocked it.
Resurvey for Marketability
Last April 17, 2024, our group conducted a survey on the marketability of our proposed service-giving innovation. From the survery, ten out of ten respondents who had laboratory classes were willing to avail to the application/software who offers a comprehensive collection of laboratory simulations. The respondents enumerated the reasons for the possibility of availing the service such as (1) it aids learning; (2) it is a good alternative if the labs have lacking materials. The respondnets emphasized a condition for availing. Most of them responded that they will only avail if the subscription price is student friendly and that it exhibits quality. Also, all of them said that they would avail the 1-month free trial.

2024 National Lacrosse League Playoffs Open April 25-28 with Single-Elimination Quarterfinals
The National Lacrosse League (NLL) today announced its 2024 NLL Playoffs schedule that will start as early as April 25th.
Postseason positioning continues as the NLL’s “The March to May” playoff push continues this weekend with nearly every team still in contention for a playoff berth and many still in the hunt for a top-four seed and ability to host the single-game elimination quarterfinal later this month.
The exact dates and times of games will be determined as soon as practical before each playoff round, dependent on seeding, arena availability, and broadcast windows. Teams are not re-seeded after each round, resulting in a true “bracket style” format.
The single-elimination quarterfinals will be held between Thursday, April 25, and Sunday, April 28, at the home sites of the #1 through #4 seeds, hosting #8 through #5, respectively.
The best-of-three semifinals will commence on Thursday, May 2, through Sunday, May 5, and continue Thursday, May 9, through Sunday, May 12.
The best-of-three 2024 NLL Finals are scheduled for Thursday, May 16, through Sunday, May 19, and Thursday, May 23, through Sunday, May 26.
Additionally, should both semifinal series end in two games, the league may move the 2024 NLL Finals up to the preceding week.
The NLL postseason schedule, including the ESPN and TSN broadcast slate, will be released following the regular season, which concludes on Sunday, April 21.

Journey to the Garden
"Then Jesus went with his disciples to a place called Gethsemane, and he said to them, "Sit here while I go over there and pray."1
Yesterday, in a conversation, I was invited to an Easter Sunday service. "Easter is almost a month away!" I thought. But for those in ministry, Easter is looming. Preparations for the annual celebration of the resurrection of our Lord have begun, and rightly so! This is the ultimate cause for celebration and all over the world Christians will lift their hands in praise on that Glorious Day! Many have been in observance of this season for a few weeks with the commencement of Lent, the time in which believers solemnly take on an awareness of the events that led up to the cross. Many indulge in a more active prayer time, while others might sacrifice a small luxury. Some change their diet and others begin a journey — a journey to set apart some time to allow your imagination to be captivated by Jesus' life and suffering and step into the mind of Christ. What was He feeling during this time as His death approached? Let this season give you the freedom to immerse yourself into the Scripture and become aware of the Story it tells.
You don't have to take more than a couple steps into a supermarket or department store to become aware of the season we're in. As you pass the pastel colors, you become enveloped in a sort of garden of bunnies and chicks and synthetic grass that pales in comparison to the actual Garden where Jesus spent time in prayer. Fully aware that His suffering would increase and His death was near, our Lord prayed in urgent and overwhelming tones, "…Abba Father, all things are possible for you. Remove this cup from me…."! (Mark 14:36) Over the next few weeks, allow yourself time in your garden of sorts to spend time with God. Allow yourself to feel the emotions or pain that you've buried or hidden for so long; become aware of them and then ask God to touch and heal your heart. Become aware that Jesus is close to you. Ask Him for the courage to embrace this journey through the garden. All things are possible for Him! Suggested Prayer: God, I ask for a deep awareness of Your love for me and Your work in me. Be close to me during this season and allow me to feel your presence so that I might understand the anguish you felt as you allowed your Son to die for the sins of this world. Thank you for your ultimate sacrifice! In Jesus' name, Amen.
Matthew 26:36.

Red Bull chief Christian Horner sends warning to F1 over 'gruelling' 23-race calendar
'We are at the point of saturation!': Red Bull chief Christian Horner fires warning to Formula One over its 'gruelling' 23-race calendar... suggesting existing circuits should go under the microscope to see if it deserves to stay By Nathan Salt and Jonathan McEvoy For Mailonine Published: 14:19 EDT, 4 May 2023 | Updated: 14:19 EDT, 4 May 2023 Red Bull team boss Christian Horner has warned that Formula One is 'right on the limit' with its record-breaking 23-race calendar for 2023. F1 executives pieced together a calendar with one more race than last season, won by Red Bull's Max Verstappen, with the season commencing in early March in Bahrain and ending in late November in Abu Dhabi. But Horner is increasingly concerned at the toll the 'gruelling schedule' is taking on drivers, team members and travelling F1 staff, so much so that he believes every circuit should be under the microscope. '23 races is a gruelling schedule for everybody on the travelling team… we are at the point of saturation,' he told CSM Sport and Entertainment non-exec Chairman Seb Coe on the Extraordinary Tales podcast. 'Every good book can only have so many chapters and I think we've got that.' Drivers and F1 teams are currently in Florida preparing for race five - the Miami Grand Prix Asked where the sport, which has exploded in popularity due in no small part to the success of Netflix's Drive to Survive series, goes from here, Horner is convinced there is no room for more adds to the calendar. 'Maybe we need to revisit some of the existing circuits and ask: 'do we need to be there every year?',' he added. 'Should there be a rotation? I think 23 races is right on the limit.' It was originally planned that this would be a 24-race season but the Chinese Grand Prix was shelved earlier this year due to its Covid protocol. It was not replaced. F1 took a four-week break as a result, leading into last weekend's race in Baku, which was won by Red Bull's Sergio Perez. Horner, who spoke with fervour at the debut of the Las Vegas Grand Prix later this year, which will see the track travel down the famous Strip, remains eager to protect the sport's historic tracks. F1'S RECORD 23-RACE SEASON Mar 5: Bahrain GP (Sakhir) Mar 9: Saudi Arabian GP (Jeddah) Apr 2: Australian GP (Albert Park) Apr 30: Azerbaijan GP (Baku) May 7: Miami GP (Miami Autodrome) May 21: Emilia Romagna GP (Imola) May 28: Monaco GP (Monte Carlo) Jun 4: Spanish GP (Catalunya) Jun 18: Canadian GP (Gilles Villeneuve Circuit) Jul 2: Austrian GP (Red Bull Ring) Jul 9: British GP (Silverstone) Jul 23: Hungarian GP (Hungaroring) Jul 30: Belgian GP (Spa) Aug 27: Dutch GP (Zandvoort) Sep 3: Italian GP (Monza) Sep 17: Singapore GP (Marina Bay) Sep 24: Japanese GP (Suzuka) Oct 8: Qatar GP (Lusail) Oct 22: US GP (Circuit of the Americas) Oct 29: Mexico City GP (Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez) Nov 5: Sao Paulo GP (Interlagos) Nov 18: Las Vegas GP (Las Vegas) Nov 26: Abu Dhabi GP (Yas Marina) Advertisement The Red Bull chief stressed that he does not want to see circuits such as Silverstone, Monza, Monaco, and Spa removed, but did accept that a calendar north of 23 races isn't sustainable. The clamour for more races is being driven by the fandom from the Netflix series, something Horner likened to 'the Kardashians on wheels'. 'We're going to be racing down the strip in Las Vegas,' he continued. 'Five years ago that would have been incomprehensible.' Horner and the rest of the F1 paddock are currently in Miami, Florida, preparing for the first of three US races this year, with Austin, Texas, and Las Vegas, Nevada, to follow. General Hospital Week Awards: W/C 26th March 2018
Hey, y’all. For those that celebrate Easter, how was your holiday?
Anyway, here are the results from this little (test trial?) of the mini awards of last week’s episodes. I also included runner-up since the field of results was admittedly small.
Also included a little/medium sized paragraph on the results. Let me know what you think, if you would just like the results in future or like the paragraphs with the little thoughts on them.
Also if you’d like the results to be paired with videos or pictures etc.
Would you like to see this done again? Let me know on your thoughts, if you agree with the results etc.
Performer of the week:
Sam McCall/Cain (Kelly Monaco)
Okay, so this one ended up being a no brainer with everyone saying Sam McCall, which I’d admit did surprise me, because the general consensus regarding Sam these past few months have been a little mixed concerning the love triangle. Everyone is pretty much Team Sam, but some want her with Jason, others with Drew - but what we all tend to agree on is that the writing hasn’t done Sam the character much favours, with many getting frustrated at her. Finally this week, Sam was finally honest with not only herself, but with Jason and Drew as well. I personally think it’s nice to see the fandom acknowledge the performance Kelly put on last week during those scenes, fans can really see and understand her struggle, she never truly got closure regarding Jason, especially when Drew came in as “Jason” - she adapted to loving and developing feelings for Drew’s Jason, but she never truly shut down those old feelings - so she’s really torn on who she is, and who she wants and what she wants in her future. These men both mean a lot to her and she doesn’t want to hurt either and both men will forever be a part of her life due to Scout and Danny (as well as them being brothers). So it’s nice to see Kelly be given some decent good material in a storyline that many are probably getting tedious of.
Best Storyline of the Week:
youtube
Mike’s Alzheimer's (Max Gail and Maurice Benard)
This one, I don’t think surprises many, maybe a little because it wasn’t featured as heavily compared to other storylines. But I think we can agree that since they brought back Mike, this has been one of the most consistently good storylines currently on the show. A big factor of that has to go to the actors portraying the characters in this storyline (Not just Max and Maurice but as Laura and the Corinthos clan), also what I think makes this story connect so well with the fans is how relatable it is, in a show and a genre where everything can become over the top, sensationalised and focusing on romantic relationships, there is some real and raw to this storyline, it’s been written slowly, almost in the background compared to other storylines and I don’t know how long Mike is staying on at General Hospital, but let’s hope this get’s developed long term and they don’t kill Mike off soon or ship him off.
(Sidenote: If you want to look at a storyline similar to Mike’s, I’d recommend UK Soap’s Emmerdale and their recent long-term storyline of Ashley Thomas’s Dementia. The character got diagnosed in 2015 and the storyline lasted 18 months - until the character died. It was written so well to show how he struggled as well as the family. They also did an episode completely from the POV of a person with dementia. I really would like it if GH could commit or do something like this regarding Mike’s Alzheimer’s)
Runner-Up: Kiki being harassed by Dr Bensch (Hayley Erin and James DePaiva)
This storyline has kind of been building for some time. Arguably back when Dillon was still on the show, but then it kind of faded into the background and then here it is, back and they are following through. This storyline is very important to tell, especially during the age of the Times Up #MeToo Movement, it goes to show how subtle sexual harassment can start off, the person in the position of power, lulls you into a false sense of security that you aren’t aware that you are being groomed - every though, some of us were predicting this would happen - It’s only once when Dr Bensch tries to kill Kiki because he feels confident now and entitled enough to try that our fears are confirmed and this is solid sexual harassment, there is no “It’s up to interpretations”, this is a storyline that I’m intrigued to see not only where it goes, but how bad it does, if Kiki will meet any other victims of Dr Bensch that were afraid to report. With Ava go bad and get revenge on Dr Bensch? This is another storyline where it will be interesting to see if it gets resolved short term, will it be long-term or will it be resolved soon and have long term effects on Kiki? Will Dr Bensch go full on villainy manipulating others around him, hurting Kiki?
Standout Scene:
youtube
Jason snaps at Drew and calls out on how he views the way Drew treats Sam (Steve Burton and Billy Miller)
Okay, so I wrote a huge (I personally think) unbiased thing on this scene, how pivotal it was for their relationship as well as the storyline and how everyone needs to get their lives sorted, but I accidentally deleted it and couldn’t not be bothered to type it up again.
Runner-Up: Sam and Jason’s conversation and how Sam needs space (Kelly Monaco and Steve Burton)
Again, the same thing happened, it was kind of the same thing as before, how it’s best for everyone and let’s hope that the writers commit to this as well as finish the love triangle soon.

March 🌹
March is the month of the return of life and fertility, and the remembrance of the dead who sustain them - in effect, of universal unity, regardless of the state of being. The name of the month, berezen', comes from the word "birch".
1-6 - Masnytsia, Butter week. Last week before lent; the creation of solar pancakes
2 - New moon in Pisces, winter of the cycle
6 - Forgiveness Sunday, a day to apologise for any needless hurt one has inflicted. In some areas, it is traditional to visit the graves of family to ask for their forgiveness, as well
9 - Obretinnia, or obertinnia, the day when "a man turns towards a woman", and birds commence with their nesting season
10 - First quarter in Gemini, spring of the cycle
18 - Full moon in Virgo, summer of the cycle; the day of St. Konon, patron of horses
19 - Forbears' Saturday, visitation of and tending to the graves
20 - Spring equinox
25 - Last quarter in Capricorn, autumn of the cycle
26 - Forbears' Saturday, visitation of and tending to the graves
This calendar is based on astrological information, Eastern Orthodox observances, personal inspiration, and private relevance. It does not reflect the full traditional calendar of the Ukrainian people, the variety of local customs, or any personal plans I may have regarding the celebration.

A Year and a Day UPDATED - 206 prompts - A Quest to discover my individual Witchcraft
*UPDATED - original post was 196 prompts
After a lifetime of subtle magic and a year of failing to step into my power, I wrote this personalized curriculum to learn my own individual Witchcraft over 366 days. There are 206 points on the list. Some will take a bit of time and work. Others require more simple answers.
I used the words "personalized" and "individual" for a reason. Witchcraft is very personal. We are all individuals and nothing we do looks exactly the same. Some of the points may not suit you. Adjust or omit them.
I will be kicking this off with a devotional river bath on June 1st.
Follow me on Instagram if you'd to tag along. Inspired by https://sammmango.tumblr.com/post/175974393404/a-whopping-list-of-grimoire-prompts-and-ideas

Wanna read some killjoys stupid opinion on the original Arsenic and Old Lace play??
(I didn't know Mortimer was a real person criticizing the theater... 😒)
[ID: ID: a photo of an excerpt from Gregory Mank's book "The Very Witching Time of Night":
Karloff happily settles into his Arsenic and Old Lace eight-shows-a-week routine. He also becomes a frequent visiting guest star to radio's Inner Sanctum, starting with the March 16, 1941, broadcast, "The Man of Steel." That same date, the righteous wrath that Arsenic and Old Lace threatened to unleash emerged from one Jessie Wilcox of Brooklyn, whose letter appeared in the New York Times' "In the Drama Mailbag":
Murder is not funny; insanity is not funny... I feel it is an imposition on theater-loving people to ask them to spend two and a half hours in such an atmosphere... The terrific success of the thing and the echoes of thoughtless laughter are to me no excuse for its being...
Allyn Joslyn himself responded in a letter to the Times: "The play does not make fun of insanity... The enjoyment is obtained by watching the effect the dearly demented have on the saner member of the cast." He added, rather profoundly: "Who in this day of uncertainty is as happy as 'Teddy' Brewster, whose future, with its exciting adventures and absolute security, is an open book where all may read?" /end ID].
And who could say smth bad about this very version of the play when Mr. Boris "Precious" Karloff plays one of the characters?? I mean, just read this:
🥺🥺
[ID: another photo from the same book:
Saturday, December 7: Karloff completes The Devil Commands at Columbia Studios and takes an all-night plane from Los Angeles to New York to commence rehearsals. He is so scared he stutters. The company pretends not to notice. Mortified and terrified, Karloff wants to quit.
It was rotten and I knew it. I wanted to say, "I can't go through with it - let me get back to Hollywood." And I almost did go back. I decided against it only after I'd taken a long walk alone up Fifth Avenue and wrestled it out of myself.
He walks all night, gets back to the hotel at 5:30 a.m., catnaps and - resolute - reports to rehearsal. The stutters vanish but the nerves remain. "Everyone connected with the production was so kind and helpful," Karloff will remember. "Bretaigne Windust, the director, was wonderful - patient and understanding." As for Lindsay and Crouse, Karloff affectionally dubs them "the beamish ones."
Thursday night, December 26: Arsenic and Old Lace plays its first performance at Baltimore's Maryland Theatre. Karloff, his lucky silver dollar in his pocket, trembles in the wings. "The funniest play about murder in the history of the stage," rhapsodizes Donald Kirkley in the next day's Baltimore Sun, praising Josephine Hull, Jean Adair, Allyn Joslyn, John Alexander, Elizabeth Inglise, Edgar Stehli...and Karloff:
It is a pleasure to be able to report that Mr. Karloff so far overcam his announced nervousness at the thought of facing that greatest theatrical monster of all - an audience - as to give a thoroughly composed and forceful performance, well-rounded and complete. It is his business to make Jonathan a formidable, dangerous fellow, and he does this to perfection. /end ID].
