A sense of foreboding overtakes her as the birds go silent—not a sound around. She startles as the once clear sky fills with flak and artillery fire; the sound of engines roaring from forts and fighter planes. Her calm stroll in a field is left behind as panic grips her.

She turns around at the telltale sound of a fort in a nosedive—a shudder runs down her spine and her eyes land on a shredded fort with an all too familiar tail number.

What is time, anyway? 🤣

I dipped my toe into the Shadow and Bone fandom for a hot second and even started writing a fix it fic before I knew what any of those things were. This was maybe 4 or 5 years ago. But I never jumped in, I didn’t feel very welcome. So, GO is my first full fandom experience.

I always listen to music when I write and it changes depending on what I’m writing. If I’m working on Bitter Things it’s Chris Cornell and Muse. Most of A Little Life was written to Lana Del Ray and Billie Eilish with a few exceptions. Choice and the Chopin sex pollen fic have Chopin (what a surprise!), Rachmaninov and Sibelius on repeat.
