Wednesday could only look up at her roommate, her mouth slightly open but no words that came out while Enid’s slowly began to sink in.

She started struggling when the wolf started exposing her abdomen and like before she was unable to free herself. To her relief, Enid stopped but her hands now rested on her sides just above her hips.

The blonde never stopped looking at her, seemingly to be waiting for something but broke the silence first before Wednesday had a chance to do or say anything.

“Look me in the eyes, Wednesday and tell me, honestly, if you want me to stop.” She leaned down slightly and cupped one side of the Seer’s face while her other hand remained where it was. “Tell me to stop, tell me to leave and I will.”

Rugby player Enid AU

when Wednesday has had a very deep sleep it takes her a moment to remember how to speak english once she wakes up.

and by ‘a moment’ i mean it can take anywhere between ten minutes and and hour + a quad over ice

the first time Enid witnesses it is the first night she falls asleep in Wednesdays bed, she wakes up sprawled over the other girl, and Wednesday who had spent the night feeling something similar to being buried alive, wakes up speaking spanish.

her dark eyes are filled with sleep, her hair is tangled, there are sleep lines over her arms and chest, her voice is soft and sounding like honey

she’s out of it for a good 20 minutes, just holding Enid and mumbling to her in a language she doesn’t understand, Enid though is in heaven

Wednesday is pretty sucky at doing things gently, she never does something half-way, so when she holds Enid, she does it like she could never let go. she holds tight, and Enid, the girl with super strength and the biggest heart, will always love the way Wednesday loves.

Enid wasn’t much of a morning person, always one to sleep in until the last minute, but now she finds herself savoring her mornings being held by the love of her life.

Wednesday whispers sweet nothings in spanish while colorful claws untangle knots in dark hair.

Yeah. Mornings are quite wonderful now.

(Enid has also deemed this period of time “Wednesday’s factory reset mode”)

Enid: I’ve been dropping her the most insanely obvious hints for like a year now! No response.

Wednesday: Wow. She sounds stupid.

Enid: But she's not! She's really smart. Just...dense

Enid: I guess you’re right. Hey Wednesday, I love you.

Wednesday: Yes, just say that.

Enid: Holy fucking shit

I’m sorry but THIS is one of my favorite scenes to hyperfixate on. Why doesn’t anyone talk about this? Wednesday follows Enid without a single word. Did Enid say “come with me” no, her girlfriend is simply on a leash. She follows after Enid immediately as she starts to leave without prompting because they’re GIRLFRIENDS case closed, its all the proof I needed

Enid:

Wednesday: Also, you look so pretty today.

Enid: *happily skips away to fetch an axe for murdering purposes*

She wasn’t sure exactly when it happened, her vision had slowly started to darken around the edges, but suddenly she was sitting on the floor gasping desperately for air. Coughing and wheezing while she looked up into the Alpha’s eyes while tears streamed down her face.

She wanted to speak, ask the Alpha why when she discovered that she wasn’t able to due to the pain in her throat and a coughing fit that followed.

Enid looked at the floor and then back at the other werewolf who was holding her own wrist, blood was dripping between her fingers and she could see some deep cuts on the hand that nearly choked her. 

She tried again to make a sound but all she managed was a soft whine, the immense pressure on her neck less than a minute ago left her unable to speak for now.

Somewhere in the distance she could hear footsteps but was unable to call out to whoever it was. She then looked back at Axis whose anger and rage was long gone and replaced with something she’d never see in an Alpha.

Fear.
