Summary:

“My names Marilyn Thornhill.” She smiles prettily and Tyler tries to hold in the way he wants to seethe back. “Ms. Thornhill. I’m a new teacher in town, at Nevermore?” And she tilts her round doll face like it’s a question and she’s asking him to be sure.

“Oh, too bad.” Tyler feels enough relief at the fact he won’t have to be dodging this lady between all of his classes that he manages to work himself up into a vaguely retail-appropriate smile. “Not my crowd. Good luck with that though.”

It's a sleepy summer day in Jericho when Tyler meets two new Nevermore Academy residents, a teacher and a student, who come into the Weathervane throughout his shift.

Something is burning just below his skin.

when Wednesday has had a very deep sleep it takes her a moment to remember how to speak english once she wakes up.

and by ‘a moment’ i mean it can take anywhere between ten minutes and and hour + a quad over ice

the first time Enid witnesses it is the first night she falls asleep in Wednesdays bed, she wakes up sprawled over the other girl, and Wednesday who had spent the night feeling something similar to being buried alive, wakes up speaking spanish.

her dark eyes are filled with sleep, her hair is tangled, there are sleep lines over her arms and chest, her voice is soft and sounding like honey

she’s out of it for a good 20 minutes, just holding Enid and mumbling to her in a language she doesn’t understand, Enid though is in heaven

Wednesday is pretty sucky at doing things gently, she never does something half-way, so when she holds Enid, she does it like she could never let go. she holds tight, and Enid, the girl with super strength and the biggest heart, will always love the way Wednesday loves.

Enid wasn’t much of a morning person, always one to sleep in until the last minute, but now she finds herself savoring her mornings being held by the love of her life.

Wednesday whispers sweet nothings in spanish while colorful claws untangle knots in dark hair.

Yeah. Mornings are quite wonderful now.

(Enid has also deemed this period of time “Wednesday’s factory reset mode”)

Enid: I’ve been dropping her the most insanely obvious hints for like a year now! No response.

Wednesday: Wow. She sounds stupid.

Enid: But she's not! She's really smart. Just...dense

Wednesday: You need to be more obvious. Perhaps say, "Hey! I love you!”

Enid: I guess you’re right. Hey Wednesday, I love you.

Wednesday: Yes, just say that.

Enid: Holy fucking shit

Wednesday: If that flies over her head then she's too dumb for you.

Wenclair Idea: Cuddles

Another idea for a Wenclair oneshot, a small piece here and you will find the rest on the links below. Since the Heat idea didn’t get much response it will be tossed in the bin. When Wednesday Addams had first come to Nevermore, she hadn’t planned to stay for long. She hadn’t planned for many things if she was honest.

Tyler being the biggest mistake she had ever made, he had turned out to be a murderous bastard and used her to free Crackstone from his grave.

However not all her mistakes had turned sour. Enid Sinclair had been one of the few exceptions Nevermore had begun to grow on the young Seer. Although she wouldn’t ever say it out loud, especially not to Enid herself. She would never hear the end of it, even though Wednesday loved torture, that kind would just be too much to bare.

Enid Sinclair, the bubbly girl she shared her dorm room with.

Enid Sinclair, the girl who’s side of the room looked like a unicorn barfed all over it.

Enid Sinclair, the only person who ever managed to get a genuine hug out of Wednesday Addams.

Yes, shocking, Wednesday was more than aware of it. It had shocked her too but when she had looked into Enid’s eyes that fateful night, a small piece from the walls that she had so carefully constructed around her heart, broke off. All she could do was hug the werewolf back, initiating it even after pushing Enid off at first.

The consequences of this hug however was something she had not prepared for. Enid became a bit more touchy feely afterwards and to her own surprise, Wednesday didn’t hate her roommate doing these things.

Enid, being the considerate person she was, only did these things while they were alone in their room.

Dang Wednesday fandom, y'all are wild and I love it. In the interest on continuing on from that fic I posted this morning (that got a response like whAt?!), what part of the year do we think the first season took place?

Like, as someone from a northern climate, canoeing at school was prohibited to the first and maybe the last two or three months of the school year. Given administrators kept throwing around "transferred in the middle of the semester" while clutching their pearls in regards to Wednesday, I'd say the whole month of September is out, suggesting this is later in the academic year.

Yet, the language of the school just being closed for a semester doesn't give the impression of being near summer break either...

Thoughts, opinions, dated coroner reports I missed?

You all don´t know how long I've been wanting to finish this, and it took me a lot of time because of the holidays and I have a new pc so... yeah , but take it as a small gift from me, for late christmas and new year !
