Greetings and salutations! My name is Liana and I am 29 years old, female and I am DESPERATE for an RP partner. I’ve been RP-ing for over fifteen years now and there are still so many plots and ideas that I haven’t played out yet. And I’m sure if you’re searching for an RP partner it’s the same case with you. • Since I am over 18 NSFW content will be in the plot line though not the main focus. Unless the plot calls for it. Please do NOT contact me if you only wish to write smut.

• I can go from romance to adventure. Angst to fluff. And everything else in between!

What’s your OTP for your Muse(s)?

Uh... I mean, I don't have any true OTPs although I adore Dru/Spike and Diego/Lila. Otherwise I'm such a multishipper I'll go for most anything as long as there's chemistry.

What are you willing to RP when it comes to shipping?

Almost anything, although there are aspects to relationships I'm not generally comfortable with. The main ones are pregnancy and ships where one party is underage. Otherwise, I can make most things work if they get my interest. It just has to be plotted.

How large does the age gap have to be to make it uncomfortable?

Babycakes, half my muses have mommy/daddy issues. The age gaps can and will be extensive by decades to centuries.

Are you selective when shipping?

Yes and no. I love experimenting with ships, but there has to be feasible chemistry. At the very least, I have to vibe with my writing partner in order to write it. Sometimes I also have to warm up to the idea of a ship and let it be proved in a friendship first.

How far do steamy moments have to go before they’re considered NSFW?

Probably once hands are under clothes or clothing is coming off. I tend to fade to black more than anything, and might conservatively tag something as suggestive long before it truly is.

Just a quick reminder to everyone: There is a high chance that the person you're roleplaying with also has roleplays with other people. This is why a lot of people can't respond to an rp they have with you every day because they also have other roleplays to reply to. Personally, I have a certain limit when it comes to how many replies I can give in one day. Sometimes, novella replies drain me out for the rest of the day so I then decide to reply to the rest that I owe the next day or the day following that.

Just because we can't respond every day does not mean we've lost muse or interest in what we've plotted! It's understandable to send a reminder after a week has passed but don't do it every day or every two or three days. That can also often discourage some people as well.

THREE FACTS

- I've danced in a West End production of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. There was an audience participation number and some of us got pulled up on stage. - I run a D&D game on Saturdays. We started out playing Curse of Strahd, but it's kind of mutated from there. The party pissed off a night hag who is now making two of the party members collect souls for her as reparations, adopted a gate guard, created a power vacuum by killing both major political leaders and started a peasant revolt in the main hub town, "rescued" a flesh golem and left her to her own devices in the forest, may or may not have lit an abbey on fire, melted a pack of werewolves with acid, lost a party member who they are now seeking (the irl player had other commitments lol), went into a Bag of Holding to fight the Bag Man, and are currently investigating a spider cult who are a splinter faction of the canonical demon cult they stopped before the plot could unfold. It's been a wild ride. - I always type "DRAFT" on replies I save for later in case I accidentally post them.

EXPERIENCE

HOW LONG - Since I was around 12-ish? So nearly 18 years.

WHAT PLATFORMS - Neopets, an ancient Nightmare Before Christmas fan site, GaiaOnline, Facebook DMs, DeviantArt, Skype, Tumblr, and Discord. Pretty much just those last two these days.

BEST EXPERIENCE - If I could be sappy for a moment, it was probably meeting my partner (and many friends besides!) through Tumblr RP. But if we want something more specific, I was part of that giant vampire story that @dreamsofalife mentioned in her meme (x); I was the guy whose head got cut off and came back as a robot. Also worth mentioning was a big thread I did with an old pal, where their muse was turned into a swan via Magic Anon, and they decided the anon (now known as Greyfellow) would take his place as his doppelganger and try to take over the kingdom. Shenanigans ensued, a parrot trapped my muse in a pantry and lit the kitchen on fire, the Queen almost had her soul sucked out-- good times.

MUSE TYPE

FEMALE OR MALE - Any and all.

FLUFF, ANGST, OR SMUT - Honestly? Too much fluff or too much angst becomes stale and one-note after a while, and smut's something I tend to do sparingly since it rarely adds to the plot. They're seasonings, not the main dish. I CRAVE VARIETY AND NUANCE, BABY!

PLOT OR MEMES - I'm good with both! Although I admit I default to memes if I'm feeling low energy or if I don't know my partner well.

LONG OR SHORT REPLIES - Either! Sometimes you need multiple paragraphs to set your scene, and other times a simple "Oh, fuck." will suffice. As long as the other person has enough to work with, everything's fair game.

BEST TIME TO WRITE - Honestly I do my best writing either right when I wake up (whatever time that may be) or after dinner, when I get my second wind. Sometimes I get random spurts throughout the day, though.

ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSES? - Some of them are aspirational, and some of them are just me in a hat. For the most part, though, I try to find a good balance of how much of myself I allow to slip through. And every once in a while I'll try to write a muse who's nothing like me at all, only to realize we're more alike than I thought.

He got bit and gained his powers when he was 16, he was working with a class project in which he had to combine two similar species, and he attempted to force the genes to bond by using a bunch of radiation to damage the cells just enough that they would heal in tandem and mutate together, and he also used way to much of the provided cellular "binding agent" (mm yes doing science scientifically). It worked, but later he didn't follow protocol (dumbass didn't wear the gloves) and his genetically modified school project bit him, and then his own overkill tactics backfired, giving him his powers. Which include:

Normal Spidey stuff, wall sticking, agility, spider-sense, super strength/healing etc.

His own biological webs in his wrists

He has very thin, two inch long orange and black "hairs" growing out of the top of his wrists and mid outer forearm. He can make them stand on end and block with them facing out or flick his wrists to fling them at opponents. Each is tipped with an irritating microscopic spine that embeds itself in flesh like a hook, and they are coated in a mild venom that induces nausea, dizziness, swelling, and a numbing sensation. They take about a week to grow back if he loses them

The spines are always there, and it's pretty easy to accidentally discharge them so he tends to wear long sleeved shirts, hide them under his rubber bracelet collection, or pull them all out before any social events. He's immune to the venom on them, but unfortunately not the spines themselves :')

As a character, Mason is very reserved, he is very good at hiding his emotions with an amazing poker face that he learned to keep up during his childhood. Outwardly he is very cocky and a flirt to the extent of being annoying, but he doesn't plan on being with anyone any time soon. Inwardly, he's very soft and empathetic and stress and pressure gets to him really easily. But once you get him to open up, he's a very enthusiastic and loveable dork, who makes too many dick/your mom jokes, excitedly tells you about his rubber band collection, requests Mac and cheese at every meal, and will generally just chaotically vibe with you.

He has an addiction to caffeine from using it as a crutch to work odd hours, and keep up in both hero work and his community collage engineering classes.

Mason is one of those people that sleep fairly deeply, but move around a lot while they sleep. Like full on flailing and loud snoring every time they roll over and it is a regular occurrence to wake up on the floor or completely turned around or sideways on the bed (head in foot zone and feet on pillow)

He sleeps with socks over his hands so he doesn't stick himself of others with his quills

Before the bite, his hobbies included boxing, playing acoustic guitar, and tinkering with various machines (he built his own motorbike from scrap)

Literally says "sweetheart" to anyone over 18 in any context, to villains and allies alike, mostly to make people uncomfortable (though he drinks his respect people juice and will stop if asked nicely. Unless he hates you.)

*swings into battle with a villain he's seen multiple times before* "honey we can't keep meeting like this! People are going to start talking!"

He has a patreon under his hero name where various teirs have rewards like filming himself doing backflips or other swinging tricks, while higher teirs have things like personal favors such as delivering a pizza to a supporter or even swinging past a donator's window to say hi.

He has some minor claustrophobia, mainly the part about being afraid of suffocating, so he designed the suit fabric over his mouth and nose to be thinner and more breathable

Welcome to Wings of Fire: Untold Stories!

About Us: We are a 16+ literate to semi-lit role play server. The RP Takes place before Arc 1, during the Great War. Canon characters and OCs are allowed!

- We have have fun emojis

- We offer a lot of creativity when making characters despite being a canon centric server

experience / how many years : as if i didn’t feel old enough turning 30 in June LMAO... i would wager at LEAST twenty or so years at this point, but i’ve had a lot of irl things that took me away from writing for stretches at a time during all of that.

best experience : hooo this is hard... probably back when i was writing in my original fandom and i found a writing partner with an awesome au that i just clicked with really with. we don’t talk much any more but i still care for them deeply, and i loved working off their ideas. we even had a single thread that continued for MONTHS. wild to think that i had the mental stamina for that! also i was in a group chat (same muse) and someone mentioned that our thread (albeit a short one) felt very in character and i was just. beyond touched at the time. small things like getting asks and stuff were always a big treat too! (and still are!!)

rp pet peeves : when people don’t give me anything to work off of. rp is a two way street, and while i know not every reply has to be a novel or move the characters in a certain way every time, if i’m left carrying the scene on my own it dries up my interest very quickly. also, not fully rp related but over complicated blog themes. i love themes! coding is absolute wizardry to me and people who can make and/or edit stuff beautifully are magic! but if i have to highlight the page to try and see where links are or have to copy/paste text onto a text document due to eye straining colors? nah dog. i’m outtie.

plots or memes : i ADORE plotting! not every detail has to be hashed out but getting a feel for the direction for the rp or if there’s some sort of idea you’d like to talk about and experiment through writing? LET’S GOOOOO!! though that can also easily be brought up or be inspired by memes so! kinda both? is that an acceptable answer?? i’m admittedly prone to getting super hyped to talk about plots and then... have my mind go blank from a stage fright response, LMAO. so having memes to work off of can be INCREDIBLY handy for me. the two more or less go hand in hand in my book!

oh, okay. hello. i guess to preface this; these are my opinions, partly formed from hcs and rps, fanfic, personal thoughts, fun ideas.

and like i mean. most of these i would write. i love to pre-establish / plot ooc before i ship in rp normally

im gonna preface this ask as romantic ships

CLINT BARTON -> i have a dozen of these way more and its hard to do a top 5, like there are so many things i ship with clint, like so many (and so many non canon ships; actually their are probbaly non cnaon ship i ship way more than clintasha but ssshh)

Hawkingbird (Bobbi M. + Clint) -> that's my heart and soul right here, barbie and ken of marvel, number one, would kill for

Ironhawk (Tony S. + Clint) -> look look this is my second most shipped thing, and like oh man the thread w/ mts giving me brainrot about them

Winterhawk (Bucky B. + Clint) -> they just make me giggle in recent canon, but even back in CW1, while there wasn't a lot; there is something to be said about the two "trained by captain amercia" boys, and candidates to be the next cap boys (yes clint was in the running for that)

Spiderhawk (Jessica D. + Clint) -> hear me out, they were very cute, they had a lot of fun together; there was real potential; jess just happened at a huge transitional period for clint, and like than he goes and cheats, can't communicate, but like they really are cute and they brought out the fun in each other

Clintasha (Natasha R. + Clint) -> look i love that, clint will always love and be in love w/ natasha; they aren't my highest rated ship, actually im mentioning them here to put out; that like she is his best friend, and i really love them platonically like oh boy i could go on about that ( but i do ship them romantically too just not as much as platonic ) also natasha is always the one he ends up trying for chance and chance again with her

Happy Hogan + Pepper -> THIS RIGHT HERE. THE MOST IMPORTANT SHIP. Loves of each other's lives. The one. Soulmates. Love at First Fight. That's Pepper's two times husband. That's her ex-pug! My heart aches for Pepper that he's been dead in-universe timeline for probably longer than they were married; i have many headcanons about pepper and happy, especially in terms of my pepper; and just them. the iron family babes. tony's married friends. and just I would weep for comic/616 happy to write ahh

Pepperony (Tony S. + Pepper) -> look they may have never dated, or done more than kiss and sleep together like once or twice in 616/comic canon; whereas mcu did put them romantically which could have been done so much better (but i like the concept). NOW I love them Platonically. SO MUCH. They are best friends, and I have a lot of hcs about them just based in platonics and friendship, and actual canon... but yeah, i'd be so for them to actually explore a romantic relationship, and ship them romantically, as lovers.

Maria Hill/Pepper -> Ship Pepper with women. Look you know, hear me out. Just yes. Like YES? Before both being burned by Tony. To Maria just being shocked that Pepper Potts of all people /saved her/ to them just both being workaholics with /problems/ to bonding over stress, and drinks, and just Maria and Pepper finding common ground; and pepper plus woman makes my lesbian soul happy

Steve R. / Pepper -> self indulgent. self indulgent thoughts. headcanons of when steve is woken from the ice and tony is talking about that; and what his "bodyguard" tells him about steve; to pepper meeting steve, cause she's tony's PA/EA rolled into one, and getting to know steve/captain america cause of that through the early years of avengers, and just being friends with all the first avengers cause of her proximity to tony/iron man... to romance with captain america, steve rogers, and its so self indulgent. let her date a hero she just looks up and thinks is dreamy.

Natasha R/ Pepper -> same reasons as Maria. Don't have much to say, but boy would i ship it

... Let's try something different, shall we? 

Aren't you tired of bland roleplays that only consist of one liners? Or extensive paragraphs of nothing filled with endless descriptions as if it was a school book? Do you want to play a real story and not just two characters making love but also develop an interesting relationship? If so, you're in luck! 

Why choosing between a plot-based rp and a smut-based one when it can have plenty of both? 

Creative spurts come out of nowhere, and apparently the one I had came in the form of a longing for a literate roleplay with ample room for character interaction, dialogue and often some buildup. That kind of story that makes you invested in fictional characters, and constantly makes you want to see where the story will go... Years of d&d tend to have this effect ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 

if you get what I'm talking about, you'll be a perfect partner! 

Enemies to lovers, an unlikely friendship, rivals... Every kind of character dynamic is accepted no matter how tropey. As long as it'll make for an engaging story, I'll call that a wonderful experience! 

As for the spicy stuff, one of my interests has always revolved around so many scenes it's hard to count them all... Among all of which, I've always been very fond of hypnosis. So, if you're willing to play a witch, succubus, spirit, human, kitsune or any character in posses of entrancing abilities of any kind, or simply a seduction so strong to render one helpless, consider this offer! A myriad of methods are allowed, from an intoxicating perfume, the use of voice and whispers to soothe and subdue the mind, a magic kiss that drains energy, a hypnotic powder blown in the face... Your imagination is the only limit! 

Apart from that, if you want an even weirder one, long hair have always been a fascination for me: the best example I can come up with would have the use of long, silken tresses being elegantly tossed in one's face, smothering it with their silken locks and perfume... or even use it as a whip to constantly slap it and alternate between pleasure and pain, if you're more on the sadistic side. Tying it in a braid or a ponytail in order to use it as a pendulum or the aforementioned whip would be equally nice 

I told you it would have been odd :) 

That said, I have a LOT of other ideas that can complement those mentioned or simply offer an alternative if nothing of what I've said picks your interest, as well as countless scenarios and full character info sheets. So, for a complete picture of all the possibilities, feel free to ask!

The man's steps echoed through the forest, each one causing the veil of dried twigs and leaves to crackle under his feet. It were hours, or maybe even days that he was wandering aimlessly in those woods in search for the ancient artifact, but until then it seemed like all he did was walking in circles. The tediousness of his task was almost driving him crazy, and he was constantly on the verge of giving up for good, but for better or for worse his determination dictated him to continue

And then it happened. At first, it seemed almost like a mirage, likely given how thoroughly exhausted he was, but upon closer inspection the figure he saw moving amidst the foliage became more and more definite. From occasional glimpses of white and purple, he could then make out the outline of a body, a feminine one, and its erratic movements less and less dictated by chaos... It was a dance, performed by a seemingly regular woman with long, luxurious white hair that flowed behind her, bounding and swaying with every step she took

Awestruck, he walked closer without even considering what to say, such was his curiosity, but be it for distraction or a deliberate choice, once he was just a couple of feet from her, she suddenly twirled, making her tresses swipe right across his face. Upon impact, a cloud of shimmering specks of some kind of dust wafted from it, and the combined effects of its silken softness and flowery fragrance made his eyes flutter

From there, the world around him seemed to slow down

Hiram Maitland , 30s . Craig Horner . A culturally Runi human who grew up on Laile , a backwater world with a complex geopolitical situation . With the capture of Ratan Polis , became a recognizable figure after a true crime documentary was released about the Laile Resistance , following the trial at the ICC . Hiram is a pediatrician in Starfleet , but has done previous work for the Palais FRC .

Hiram presents a very curated , very stable face to the world and it is not often that he deviates from this in a significant way . He is an excellent and attentive clinician and often picks up on cues that others miss , particularly when it comes to behaviors and emotions - something which served him well in his prior pediatric roles .

It's when you really get to know him on a deeper level that some structural pattern inconsistencies hinting at a prior catastrophic instability begin to emerge . Fortunately Hiram is keen and self - aware , and is able to regulate himself fairly easily . As a bonus , he is ultra - handy to have around in a crisis and can tolerate a vast quantity of chaos .

Composed , compassionate , diplomatic , grounded . It is nearly impossible to faze Hiram , given his personal and professional experiences , and he can have a conversation with just about anyone about any topic . Most people consider him a good friend and a capable colleague .

Shallow affect , rigid / uncompromising , formal , secretive . Those who know Hiram for long enough recognize that he can be very impulsive , insincere , utilitarian and lacking in felt empathy . While Hiram is not a dangerous individual , he exudes a vibe that most people who get close to him find " disturbing . "

Erik Lehnsherr , 30s . Adam Brody . AU . || Erik grew up in Midwood , New York , to Edie Eisenhardt ( dec . ) and Yakiv Lehnsherr . He has one sister , Ruthie . During a robbery gone wrong , Erik and Edie were transported through time to the 1940s . Upon his return , Edie was gone , and Erik was fractured across space and distance . He and his family were extensively interviewed by the CIA , whereupon his initial diagnosis of schizophrenia is redacted . At age 17 , he applies to MIT at the behest of his mentor and later partner , Sebastian Shaw .

At age 22 , he enlists in the Army as a Healthcare Specialist to escape Shaw . Deployed to Kabul and Kosovo . Medically separated due to an injury from an explosive blast , encounters Charles Xavier when seeking resources for employment at the VA in order to support his children , who have recently been dropped into his lap after the death of Magda Maximoff . Erik believes he is a baseline human , but due to the CIA's awareness of his mother , they have been tracking him for much of his life and believe he is in fact an Omega - level mutant with the capacity for subatomic particle and space / time manipulation .

Plot Action

Barbarian(F) and Rogue(S) will not be joining for this adventure arc. We are joined by Wiz-Rogue(R)

Our adventuring party are now level 3.

We open with dream-visions for Paladin(B) and Druid(J). Paladin(B) visits and Avatar of Death (not the Goddess of Death Herself... yet.) The Avatar warns him that her power can come with a cost. Upon waking, Paladin(B) finds a shrine in the attic of the Tavern -- at level 3 it's time for our Paladin to take the oath that defines his class. It's decorated with iconography of many, many gods of the realm. He kneels to pray.

"What god do you pray to?"

Paladin(B) chooses the Goddess of Death. He raises his sword to the sky, and! ... Nothing of particular note occurs.

DM: Do you say or think anything in particular in your prayers?

"No, I wait for the shrine to do what it's supposed to do."

(I fear, dear reader, that we have mistaken this shrine for a video game power up location or cut scene moment.)

Druid(J) also "prays" (here, "pray" is defined as "sit at an altar and wait for the gods to pick me senpai!")

Wiz-Rogue(R) also prays. He's got the right idea though; he picks two different gods, thinking while praying to the first about duty of his order of warriors, and the quest for knowledge while praying to the second.

(DM was unaware of said order of warriors -- surprise! New backstory info! And now everyone wants a secret society of their very own.

One hopes the others learn from his example regarding the RP aspect though.)

Your humble DM wanted to introduce travling merchants to the Tavern! Player feedback indicated that they want to use their ill-gotten gold, it's a great way to get magic items into their fishbowl, upgrade weapons, etc. So, there's a merchant downstairs right now! The players could buy his wares, haggle, trade, even try to steal... oh. They're trying to swindle him, and it's not going well, and now they're beating him up. Are they going to kill my merchant? Okay, they stole his stuff but at least he got away.

(DM appreciated J, who asked part way through the merchant beatdown, "hey guys, why are we doing this?" so I didn't have to interfere above-the-table.

RIP tavern merchants, there will not be any more of those until we learn some manners around NPCs. DM adjusts expectations around murderhoboism in middle schoolers.)

After going through their pilfered goods, our brave adventurers pick up their new quest from the job board and exit the Tavern into the City of Glass in the Elelmental Plane of Water.

Reflections

It took 35 mins to level up to level 3. Unclear if this is actually a long time for level up activities but it sure felt like a long time.

J really struggled with level up activities in D&D Beyond, to the point of asking of DM "Can't you just do it for me?" DM declined this request -- "No, I'm not going to be your brain for you." (shoutout to whichever teacher on Tiktok I stole that line from, it's a good one.)

H spent maybe a third of the session reading through all the available spell options -- this is not a complaint, on the contrary, I'm fuckin delighted to have a player who will know what spells they have and what those spells do. A generally introverted player, I would classify H as a Passenger player.

Our new player R, on the other hand, is an Instigator. That's all good, it's useful to have in each party at least one player who will push The Big Red Button. Your humble DM is, I will confess, rather glad that F is sitting out this adventure, so we have only 1 Instigator.

Players are still speaking primarily to the DM, and not to each other very much.

^GOING FORWARD: DM will prepare a dungeon puzzle that requires players to speak to each other.

On murderhoboism: my goal is primarily to facilitate the kind of fun that people want to have, and I'm running a game for middle schoolers. So I have chosen not to interfere above the table in murderhobo behaviors, unless I detect that a player is uncomfortable. My preference is for there to be consequences in the narrative; that may not be the best course of action, it may be that my players don't have sufficiently nuanced thinking and will need to be told above the table. I will report back.

I did have to take the above-board route after the session with my players' desire to be completely OP (faster leveling/custom abilities way above their level). Had that classic nugget, "but my backstory!" Your backstory does not change the fact that you are level 3, you are not god-killing level yet. Best summarized in what I told J: "What I'm getting from you is that you want to speed things up, and I can't promise that."
