Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Moron), Tempernacle, St. George, Utah, 1977.
As the cult makes a bizarre distinction between "tabernacles" and "temples," and I do not know which this rather peculiar building may be, I am using thecompound word. The meaning of the two terms in traditional Christianity is quite different from that used by the cult.

Portland, Oregon - Activists and Intel workers blocked multiple Intel entrances for 2+ hours. One right winger showed to burn a Quran, another tried driving through the picket. Cops showed and let the driver go, but followed activists back to their vehicles. They are protesting the Intel corporation’s plans to build a $25 billion new chip plant in southern Israel, to accept a $3.2 billion grant from the Israeli government, and to commit to buying $16.6 billion worth of goods from Israeli suppliers. The Intel Corporation is one of the largest technology corporations in the world, and its network of campuses in Hillsboro, Oregon (Portland Suburb) is its largest facility.

Little Muskingum River & Hune Covered Bridge (2) (3) (4) by Tim Hoeflich
Via Flickr:
Hune is a beautiful old covered bridge just off of Ohio Rt 26 near Dart, Ohio. It is now closed to traffic due to land slippage around one of its piers. Thankfully there is a plan to stabilize the pier and possibly even eventually move the bridge to a safer location. Hune covered bridge spans the Little Muskingum River a few miles beyond Dart but before Rinard Mills Ohio. It was built in 1879 by Rolla Merydith and rehabilitated in 1998, but is once again in need of some repair.

Monument to the Fourteenth Brooklyn Regiment, Antietam Battlefield National Monument, Maryland, 2001.
On 17 September 1862 the insurrectionist, terrorist and traitor Robert E. Lee led his Army of Northern Virginia against patriotic Union troops. With nearly 25,000 casualties, it was the bloodiest single battle ever fought on continental US soil. The Brooklyn regiment monument is among many honoring the fallen from various places in the Union. Even on a lovely autumn day, it is a grim place to visit.
