A sweet golden prince who lived up in the sky,

And so the Prince stopped fighting fire with fire,

And instead he pulled out his golden stringed lyre,

Since he had no respect, he would leave the King's cage,

And swap out the throne room for a shining stage.

He taunted with wit and he giggled with guile,

And even his sorrow he shared with a smile,

His father's gaze lessened, his temper was tame,

As his once "Golden Prince" treated life like a game.

The centuries passed and the mirth never ceased,

The sun never set on the first son of Greece,

He danced for his siblings and bit down his pain,

Since each peal of laughter meant there'd be less rain.

There's only one role for which there are no rules,

So who is the jester, and who is the fool?

Take Me Out to The Ball Game ♫

This ended up taking me way longer to finish than i expected. The uniform are based on the Chicago and st Louis uniforms from the time period, with Marius and Jack sporting the road versions. Source

I don't know if the uniforms had fem versions as well that looked like this but i thought it would be more visually interesting for them all to be a bit different individually.

Other than that i played around with Eveline's colors a bit. I thought it might be neat if her fur was a bit more muted than Marius' to reflect her current mental health.

Thinking about how Gojo seems so sex-repulsed

I’m anime-only so maybe in the manga it’s different, but Gojo’s moments of horniness over Marin are never happy moments

He’s always kind of upset at himself (like the moment after he has that dream and the hina doll is just staring at him, which he interprets as being watched and judged) and he explicitly doesn’t want to do or even see Marin wearing the Veronica cosplay because it shows so much skin

That’s a boundary he sets and Marin respects and then that’s just how it is, which I really like

Gojo says they “didn’t do anything inappropriate”, and doesn’t seem to want to either even though he shows clear romantic interest in and attraction to Marin

This all might be the result of his very traditional upbringing and the fact that he lives alone with his grandfather, but I think it’s an interesting part of his character

Doing hours of research on a historical character you sort of just made into a blorbo on impulse and being like “great, I’m going to get a good grade in historical blorbo, something that is both normal to want and possible to achieve”

 xingqiu, gold accents, ginkgo leaves, the light golden color tea gets in sunlight

hu tao, also gold accents, mahogany wood, smoky things, spider lilies unfurling in the dark. but it would be cool to edit her art so it’s more high contrast (darker outfit and hair) with stark black plum branches against winter snow 

chongyun, white, clouds, wisps of chill wind. fluffy things and a big fur coat

majority red palette ningguang would also be cool

and of course, zhongli with gold orange. old man can’t beat the geo lord cor lapis soulmates (ambiguous relationship) with azhdaha allegations

i went down the rabbit hole last night looking at quilted jacket patterns on etsy and i kept going "oh my god suga would wear that" in my head.

So I finished Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Future Redeemed yesterday (like the adult that I am, I went past my bedtime to finish it and woke up late XD)

So what do I do now?

Write a new chapter for any of 3 wips I have at the moment? Reread any of the 3 new chapters that will be posted on Monday? Add more notes to the Xenoblade-inspired AC fic I have that I should really write and post before Mirage is released? Finish up all the sidequests and Collectopaedia to prepare for the super bosses in XC3 FR?

Naaaaahhh.
