Thinking about Billy, whose first experience of death was with his mother resurrecting the memory of his father.
Billy, who has known all his life that death is fixable if you just have enough power.
Who begs Wanda to resurrect Sparky the Dog because of course she can do that right??
Who begs Alice to just wake up, for someone to fix her, because these are supposed to be the most powerful witches around so of course they can fix Alice right??
Who is on the road to gain more power, for some reason, while his brother is nowhere to be seen…

This week, on "Life in Westview"
What do widows do all day, Sharon wondered to herself.
Her husband passed away recently. Her kids were all grown with kids of their own, and had gone back to their own towns after the funeral. Sharon was retired. There were a lot of empty hours to fill these days.
She sat on her sofa and searched through the channels on TV. Maybe she could find a nice, long movie. (Sharon was never much of a sitcom fan, even before you-know-what.)
Without a knock, her front door opened. And in walked Agatha Agnes, the only person in Westview who still thought they were living in a TV show. For once, she didn't have an exaggerated sitcom smile plastered on her face. Instead she had an exaggerated sitcom look of concern plastered on. "Hi, neighbor."
So this week, it was "Neighbor" instead of "Mrs Hart". Sharon could live with that. Though she never knew whether or not she should call Agnes by her real name.
With a small sigh, Sharon got up from the sofa to greet her. "I don't want to be rude, but I'm really not in the mood today."
Agnes nodded sympathetically. "I know, sweetheart. I won't stay long. I just wanted to drop this off." She lifted up a comically large tray wrapped in foil.
"I figure you won't be in the mood to cook much the next few days. But a girl's still gotta eat. So I made you lots of servings of my World Famous Chicken Casserole Surprise." In a stage whisper she added, "The surprise is that it's not really world famous." She paused for laughter from a studio audience only she could hear.
Sharon took the heavy tray from her. "Oh, well, thank you, dear. That's actually really sweet of you."
Sharon went and set it down on the kitchen counter. Then she took a quick peak under the foil to make sure it was a real casserole instead of a delusional acting prop. No, it was real food all right.
"So how are you holding up?" Agnes asked sadly.
"Oh. I'm hanging in there," Sharon answered.
"Of course you are. I want you know that if you need anything at all, just ask. What else are neighbors for?"
Then Agnes went into "Very Special Episode" mode for a few minutes. Talking about how death and grief were just a part of life that people have to go through. And Sharon would always have the happy memories of her husband. Only time could heal the wounds, but her friends would be there for support, and so on and so on.
It was all very fake and cliché, and a little bit nonsensical. It made Sharon think of a cheap script written by that newfangled AI stuff she heard about online. That's basically what it was: Agnes' words chosen by a spell on autopilot.
But if Sharon was totally honest, it was kinda nice having Agnes trying to comfort her. And it wasn't actually BAD advice. Sharon often felt sorry for the poor confused woman, but in the end Agnes was playing the role of a good neighbor.
Agnes continued with, "'Course, I never felt what you're going through. Just between us, when my Ralph left me, my first thought was, 'Took long enough.' He was a real downer at the end."
Sharon filed that information away. So this week, the cover story was that Ralph left Agnes, which was pretty close to what happened in reality. (Poor Ralph Bohner. Sharon always liked him, even if his puns were crude.) Agnes' delusional mind kept going back and forth on different explanations for why her "husband" wasn't around anymore, or if he ever existed at all.
"You never lost someone you really cared about?" Sharon asked.
And Agnes said… nothing. It seemed like she was about to say something, but she just stared instead.
"Agnes?" Sharon said.
No response.
"Hello?"
Her expression frozen, Agatha Agnes stared into space, a hundred miles away.
"Oh my gosh, I broke you!" Sharon panicked.
A moment later, Agnes snapped out of it. "No, I'm fine," she said with a big grin. "Well, I gotta get going. My garden's not gonna water itself."
She walked to the front door. "Remember, neighbor. If you need anything, you know where to find me." With a kind wave she walked out and closed the door behind her.
And Sharon went to the task of finding space in her fridge for that giant casserole tray.

I keep seeing this discourse and wish to settle things once and for all - Wanda Maximoff editon
soooo I've actually been comvinced to rewatch WandaVision and to watch Agatha All Along because I have been told that Disney finally aired a show that isn't Loki that is actually good. I still haven't decided if I like it or not but I think I do because I just watched the entire show except for the last 2 episodes in one go-

The thing I keep seeing though is people disagreeing on whether Wanda Maximoff is a good person or a terrorist.
Believe it or not, the arguments about this get pretty HEATED so please share your honest opinion. : )
Please also share your reasoning for whatever you picked, I am very interested. I've read some very good points for each characterization so far and want to see what the general consensus is. :D

"We talked a lot about playing with the gray area. At the end of episode 5, we don't know what happens to those witches, but he's not doing a good thing. We played a lot with, does that make him a bad person? Is he a good person? Which then draws parallels to the motherly figures in his life. Wanda does evil things but isn't necessarily evil. Agatha, questionably, is evil, but there's more to that, as well. We know that he's been lying to her, and we play a lot with those dynamics of how duplicitous he is. The facade of the fanboy teen, is that completely fake or is that actually still a real part of him? This is the stuff that I found so interesting in playing him." – Joe Locke

Agreed. I feel like most people only remember that Wanda is their mother, she created them, they focus on the bond with her, etc. But in the original comics, it's explicity said that Wanda was only able to use the magick that way because Vision was by her side and she felt his love. They created Billy and Tommy together. Wanda and Vision are both their parents. (Mephisto? Who's that? Nobody cares.)
That might be less relavent in the MCU, since Vision was a ghost also created by Wanda at the time, but still. And the costume designer proved Vision's parenthood by putting his cape pattern onto Billy's cape. I loved that detail.
Vision & Billy is an underrated relationship that just means so much to me. Vision came up with the name Billy and insisted on it, in honor of William Shakespeare, meaning Billy is short for William and so that is still his true name. Even when Billy was not yet born, Vision said to him, “I can’t wait to meet you, little Billy!” and (correctly) declared that Billy would be perfect if he was anything like his mother. Vision read The Descent of Man to try to make Billy stop crying. Vision gathered Billy into a hug when Billy aged up to 5 and called him “baby” in the most tender voice. Billy is intelligent, thoughtful, and observant like his dad. Billy’s powers manifested at the moment that Vision was in trouble, and his first telepathic vision was the sound of his dad’s screams and the sight of him falling apart, and he sensed his dad’s pain, and pleaded for him to be saved. Billy ran directly into Vision’s arms after they survived S.W.O.R.D.’s ambush. Billy buried his face in Vision’s embrace to hide from the sight of his mom getting hurt. Just like Vision, even when his existence was technically only 3 years old, he matured quickly and fell in love, to the deep level of wanting to be as honest and open with his boyfriend as his dad was with his mom. And even in a brand-new life with no memories of Vision, Billy is a fast learner, becoming in just 3 years a skilled-enough magician to break his own mom’s spell and to surpass the level of literally centuries-old witches, and managing to piece together his true identity from fragmented clues. Even now, Billy still shares Vision’s high capacity for learning and understanding, and the first memory of the Hex that returns to him is Vision telling him that he’s proud of him. He’s got Jeff now too, and Jeff is awesome, but his name, sharp brains, keen eyes, and romantic heart all come from his Robo-Papa, who may not be related to him in terms of normal DNA, but is still his Dad all the same.

I can’t find an exact picture of the shot, but during the scene in the last episode where Wanda pulls up her hoodie and leaves the now empty spot of her home with Vision, the beautiful waves of her hair sticking out always make me burst out laughing. BECAUSE I KNOW that the stylist for Wanda’s hair was like “no thank you so much don’t you dare crush this beautiful wig in a hoodie”
