Walkerverse Character Tier List

Hello Walker Family! I'm here announcing the beginning of the Walkerverse Character Tier List series!

I've created a list of characters from Walker and Walker: Independence to put in a tier list ranking. I will be releasing a series of polls with all these characters (including pictures and brief reminders of their roles) to determine which Tier List ranking they get. Whichever option from S to F gets the most votes will become the official ranking of that character.

Here is the criteria I used to select the characters I'm putting in the poll series:

They must have a name on the imdb page

They must have a minimum of two appearances

I have to remember them, regardless of their appearance count

Single appearances that were special/memorable will also be included (ex: Uncle Willy, Minnie Jayne)

The rankings will be as follows:

S tier: Best character in the show, love them with all my heart, they can do literally nothing wrong

A tier: Beloved blorbo, one of my favorites, I'd want to be friends with them if they were real

B tier: I like them, but I have my critiques. A good character that I mostly enjoy

C tier: Mid character, not the biggest fan of them but I won't complain when they show up

D tier: I don't like them. I have many criticisms of their actions and personality. I may even dislike whole episodes because of them

F tier: Literally the worst character in the entire show. Hate them. Much dislike. I fastforward over them on rewatches.

I currently have pictures (for the poll and the complete tierlist that I will link when it is public) for 39 of the 120+ characters I put on the list, so that's where I will be starting. I will include the full list of all the characters from both shows below the cut along with the taglist.

The first poll will go up on Monday, September 23rd! Can't wait to see what you guys think!

Do you think the WGA strike will kill Walker and WIndy? I'm not asking about TW and GK, because I think those are defunct already.

No because the new CW needs at least some of the original shows to bring over, which means the most successful ones aka Walker and Windy. Most of you are probably too young to remember when WB and UPN merged to become The CW. WB's Charmed, Gilmore Girls, Smallville, and Supernatural were renewed inorder to bring their audiences over to the new CW whose brand were teenage audiences.

Nexstar/CW needs to establish themselves as a brand and my guess it will be a broad family-oriented audience, hence the family oriented Walkerverse, All American verse, Superman & Lois, and maybe even Kung Fu

A beautiful fic about accepting your past and learning how to be vulnerable. Plus, it really showcases Cordell and Cassie's relationship.

Cordell is the knight assigned to Princess Emily's personal protection. They were never meant to fall in love, but they do.

This is perfect for anyone who enjoys secret lover fics. For only a little more than a thousand words, it really ropes you into their relationship!

+Favorite AU (divergence from canon event) fic

See No Evil by sakuranomi808

An Alternate Universe story where Cordell doesn't leave for his undercover case with the Rodeo Kings after Emily's death and Liam becomes the District Attorney. Some things stay the same and some things very drastically change.

What can I say? This fic is beautifully written. It's a fascinating exploration into morality vs legality. It's the perfect mix of unsettling and tense and had me on the edge of my seat at times!

+Favorite WIP (a fic not yet finished)

A strange coincidence leads to a mix up that our heroes may never recover from.... Assuming anyone realizes the mistake. Or: in which Cordell dies and Sam gets mistaken as a Texas Ranger.

An intriguing SPN/Walker fic. I would absolutely love to see where this goes. It sets up so much potential for a good emotional hurt/comfort fic!

+Favorite Episode Tag/Missing Scene Fic

Timestamp between 3x15 and 3x16. A quiet, emotional moment between brothers when Cordell returns home to the ranch.

A sweet moment between the brothers shows how much their relationship has evolved since the beginning of the show.

Cassie Perez really really should have stayed home today. She even had all her medical leaves intact because she never got sick. Until now, that is..

Such a cute story! This fic just highlights all that I love about Cordell and Cassie.

Things go very wrong at the medal ceremony for Cassie and August. 3x14 AU.

“I know I taught you better than that, Liam.” Cordell?! It’s been over twenty years since Liam last heard his big brother’s voice and he thinks this is it; he’s really and truly lost all his marbles.

Such an emotional fic! Had a few things gone differently in the show, I feel like this is something that could have happened.

AU. Firefighter!Cordell gets a call from Liam to rescue a cat stuck in a tree. This turns out to be a slight misunderstanding.

I knew right away that this was the funniest fic I've read this year. I absolutely adore the banter between the characters!

Hmm oh now come on no sad faces. I can’t tell you how much fun I had on and off camera with many remarkable people. Everyday I woke up and I felt like I was in a dream and truthfully I never wanted to wake up. This cast has my heart and this crew have my unwavering respect. What y’all got to see on screen was a labor of love from hundreds of people and at times it wasn’t always easy but your response and loved pulled us through. If I could go down a list and thank everyone I wouldn’t, I’d be to scared to forget someone. Thank you to our crew that worked tirelessly everyday to make this show everything and more we could ever imagine. Thank you to my executive producers and producers and show creator….when we finished the pilot I wrote letters to each of you saying “thank you for making a black man from Compton feel like he belongs.” and till this day I still utter those same words. To my cast y’all had me smitten everyday, watching each of you work was a master class and I loved every moment of it. To our fans and let me just say I hate using that word “fan” because we are FAMILY. Thank you for allowing us into your homes and into your hearts and giving us a place to call home. Thank you for all of the love, we couldn’t have reached the heights this show did without you. To everyone who participated in this show in any way shape or capacity - you have my respect and my love forever. The sun may have finally set on our town but the memories and episodes will always be a click away.

Announcing Walkerverse Fan Favorites Weekend!

We all have those characters. Regardless of the media, there's always that one little blorbo, your special gremlin, that only YOU can truly appreciate. Surely the home media doesn't!

Well, that's what this precious event is here for! It's a weekend to celebrate those Walkerverse characters that didn't get enough screentime or appreciation from canon or even the fandom.

This weekend will take place from November 18-19th. I made this event specifically to celebrate Randall and Cordell the Horse but I know everyone has their own faves to celebrate! So I've decided on one day for my faves and a second day for everyone else's faves.

Here is the schedule I've come up with:

It's the ceaseless trolling and the malice and the lying and the biases and the reality twisting and the devoted hate blogs and the incorrect ratings hot takes that are designed to insidiously undercut TW and elevate Jared and the Walkerverse.

But hey since they want to keep crawling down into the mud playing these games...if they want to keep spreading bad math and poor reasoning on ratings and ROI (return on investment) to claim TW is tanking. And pretending that TW is getting TW nights, in 2 hour blocks, because it's failing,when that's not how this works at all, and while TW is beating GoT on streaming

While Jared stans pretend WBD and CW are the only outfits in financial trouble. Cute. How much money do you suppose CBS has laying around to keep paying for Walker.

Ultimately these trolls are angreh because their fantasy about being The Only Fans That Matter got popped. That's it. That's all. Plus their obsession with Jared is to an unhealthy degree.

These are not fans of the tv series SPN or of the SPN universe. Period.

SPN is for everybody. Not just for bitter, hateful Jared stans who really thought it was all about them and nobody else has rights to exist.

let me emphasize to people: WB are not majority owners of CW anymore. Nexstar, even under their floated theory about sales value on audience size (which is itself a comedic take, audience isn't monetizable, demo is), gets no benefit in multiple airings of a show that is failing.

Even if they bought TW for a million bajillion dollars, if it was doing bad, there's no benefit in them using the property multiple times to "make back costs." WB, in theory, would do so. Because it's their property. But it's not their channel. Nexstar would replace it immediately with any property able to make them better money. Live cancellations happen all the time, even, for this reason.

All that's happening is 2po is exposing that just like loljackles, hookerwitch, and all the batshit insane jared stans and antis, he's that. A batshit insane jared stan and anti, trying to google fu a way to save his ego and image and his illusory world that there was ever a chance of us getting cancelled, to avoid as long as he can the fear of his own getting cancelled under its dead fish Nexstar digitals.

I've been ignoring them as they aren't worth arguing with and we're going where we're going and what's being renewed is being renewed, but I didn't want the million influenceable chicken littles of this fandom to start randomly listening to their dreamed up hallucinatory bullshit and going "IS DIS TRUE???"

No, not only is it not true, it's the dumbest take I've heard in a while. The only way they even weren't embarrassed posting an idea this bad into the internet is their hateful biases driving their process completely blinded them to the gaping logic flaws in it.

It's a shame WIndy is no more, but luckily we have the DVD to look forward to and the fun memories of the cast interactions, live blogging and the friends we made along the way in our little fandom.
