An enutrof’s longevity reflects their god’s dragonic form.
I completely believe that the ONLY ACTUAL reason why enutrofs look so freaking old all the time is because since their god has the appearance of a dragon, they get the privilege of having heir lives extended for a few more centuries lol
Enutrof is a literal representation of a dragon guarding his treasures in his cave so they would obviously try to hunt as much money as they can by taking advantage of the longevity that they inherited from him.
You can’t tell me that their intro page showcases them already old and NOT explain to me why that is the case if you don’t think the same way!
The older an enutrof is, the more experienced he or she is at treasure hunting.
I feel like this is what enutrofs love to think about amongst themselves which is why they’re the only race known to present themselves looking already so old compared to the other classes. For an enutrof, being old is the trend and is a way to show how long you pursued money. So the older you are as an enutrof, the more people will automatically assume you have more riches than them.
They’re also the only ones who we get to see live as long as Joris. JORIS who is someone who keeps a DRAGON within him at all times (since birth actually).
Examples like this are Ruel, Arpagone, Alibert, and even Ruel’s freaking GRANDMA.
In short, if you wanna live like a dragon, enutrofs are a good pick besides eliatropes lol
#in short enutrofs believe senior citizens are pretty cool lol#now that i think about it the enutrof class might just be the safest class you can ever have in the world of twelve#these mfs just want money#i feel like they mind their business a lot of money isn’t involved in the picture#the only problem these bitches will have is not paying their taxes#dofus#wakfu#waven#ankama#krosmoz#wakfu ruel#wakfu ruel stroud#ruel stroud#wakfu arpagone#wakfu enutrof#dofus enutrof#enutrof#enutrof class#wakfu enutrof class#dofus enutrof class#wakfu enutrof god#dofus enutrof god#enutrof god#wakfu hdcs#dofus hdcs#wakfu headcanon#wakfu headcanons#dofus headcanon#dofus headcanons

Okay, so it's been a hot minute since I watched season 3 and I might be forgetting a few things, but it has literally just hit me how the writers could have made Echo being both an Eniripsa and Oropo's closest ally and the person he trusts the most make more sense (beyond the lovers angle, I mean).
And that is by having Echo be the one to heal Oropo whenever he started phasing out of existence and thus prolonging said existence instead of him just getting over it mostly on his own like they were nothing but dizzy spells.
At least, I don't remember she ever assisted Oropo with those or used her powers on him.
For an Eniripsa demigoddess, Echo herself doesn't do a lot of healing. The only thing really reminiscent of a healer in her is the fact that her room was filled with bubbles capable of treating all wounds and her acting as Eva's midwife. But in neither of those instances does Echo directly use her powers to heal. She mostly just assists one way or another, though mostly indirectly.
On the contrary, whenever Echo did use her powers, they were often physical attacks that she employed offensively. Such as when she attacked Toxine or when she spread her wings menacingly after seeing Oropo kissing Amalia.
Which is why her acting as Oropo's personal nurse would have greatly benefitted their characters and their relationship with each other.
After all, if Echo had been helping Oropo whenever he started to phase out of existence, she would have effectively been the one to postpone his demise. Likewise, Oropo was a very secretive person, who only let a select few in on the most personal and vulnerable aspects of his life.
Making Echo the one to heal him whenever his time threatened to run up would further enforce the trust they had for each other, as well as highlight their closeness and justify Echo being his second-in-command beyond her being the demigoddess he's known the longest and his lover.

LIVEBLOG: Wakfu Season 4, Episode 3
I'm glad that I waited for a while before liveblogging season 4, becuase in the time it took me to get here, Tot has apparently said on an interview that Eliatrope is inspired by a family member.
I think that she has that... "author is projecting something here" je ne sais quoi that I, a fan of Joris Jurgen and Kerubim Crepin, am totally supportive of.
Greetings reused art assets from Aux Tresors de Kerubim.
He carved an anime figurine collection of them... AND drew fanart. He's insane.
[sighs deeply] I need sticky rice puer so bad. My tea desires are just building up, and one of these days, I might do something I regret..
I hate Arpagone. She's a boring character whose only motivation is imaginary children and a Man she is in Love with. However, this is a rare moment that sort of endeared me to her slightly.
She might be a crazy yandere, but I too believe that money that just sits away hoarded in some unthinkably rich person's giant vault uselessly should be like... used for Bettering the Society.
Anyway.

I wrote a lot, and not everything at the same time, but like brain got too full of Wakfu so yeah, thoughts time. I tried organizing it chonologically.
I wonder if Ruel will end up going back to Arpagone eventually, to me it seems like he decided he was done with her for good. That seems crazy but at the same time I'm pretty sure she did the most toxic thing you can do to an Enutrof. I mean, they haven't been together for a long time, I kind of wish they did talk to each other, set the records straight and left it there, but I'm okay with what happened too. Also good for Arapgone on finding something that makes her feel worthwhile by helping others.
Ruel really said the real treasure was the son we got along the way in the end, and he was so right for that.
Yugo getting the shit kicked out of him because Iops seem to have face blindness is some real comedy, the lightness in the whole scene really helped me feel that Yugo was still very much him. And given how heavy anything about the antagonists is that felt warranted, that made me feel very good. He's very chill though. Retrospectively I think it confirms what a lot of people like me may have been thinking, that Yugo was generally very tense due to body dysmorphia on top of everything else. Good for him.
I'm going to be real, Pin calling for Flopin got me so hard. I said "oh no" out loud.
Eva went full big sister mode upon seeing Yugo ;-;. I always loved their bond, it's at the center of one of, if not the best solo episode of the whole show, s2 ep 16, so the fact that it never weakens has me in a chokehold. I see the little gestures and I think "oh, they're family", with them it's all in the little gestures.
Yugo recieveing a big iop group hug and going :> was so cute. Kind of surprised Goultard also was part of it but Yugo deserves all the hugs so I absolutely am taking it.
Yugo telling Eliatrope to do something or fuck off and being the only one to manage to get her to do something has to be one of the biggest nat 20 on persuasion of all time. She's coming back to deliver the kids once things are safe though, right? And without the eye thingies right? Right?
No more Brakmar? Damn, that feels weird.
King Osamodas can take my fists, the way he just refuses to listen to Amalia and is barely willing to do the same to Armand given the nature of the invasion is really irritating.
The joy of Ad upon seeing Yugo still alive ;v;
Little interesting parallel of Yugo and Eliatrope both using the same force field technique. Not sure if it means anything, but I know it felt relevant to me.
Amalia going "are we about to kiss rn" and Yugo going "nah babe there's a war that'll leave a bad taste. Promise I'm hyping up my game for later though" was perfect. I got scared that they would kiss at that moment because it didn't feel right, but at the same time you cannot tell me they wouldn't want to soo damn bad.
Ad and Armand's eyes turning purple upon using the Eliasphere, huh...
Oh so Dathura is still there and places herself as a last defense for the Tree of Life, interesting but like, she just disappeared in the meantime? Well it's not her story I guess we didn't need to know, but still.
Joris asking Yugo if he knows what he's doing. Joris, he knows about as much as usual, he's just doing his best but thanks for making sure.
The way Eva and Tristepin react to their family being put in danger is interesting to me. Pinpin will jump to their rescue, but he's the one moving, that makes sense to him. Eva is, and has always been, the type to stay in place at the face of danger, whether out of fear or stubborness, so she asks for Pinpin to be the one to move away from the danger, but she won't move. Their dynamic is precious.
I'm curious about Pinpin's hair... burning? What's going on there?
Armand's sacrifice was powerful, he wasn’t a great prince, but he was an amazing King.
Joris! Joris! Joris! Joris! Imma hype that little man. Him and Yugo making the Team Blue Shorties (well, not so much anymore) was great. Team Demigods was also pretty damn cool.
Aurora is building a very bad rep for the Osamodas Kingdom by flying away, but I undertand the pain she must have felt at the moment. Her father still was treating their countries' alliance as something purely strategic, but she loved him. To her that meant something, and Amalia's simple movement of rejection while under intense distress and grief was enough for her to decide to listen to her father and not to fight by everyone's side.
Actually Eva IS very much the one to get people to move. She gets Amalia back up too.
Yugo turning Oropo's words against Toross is interesting. Wonder if it has any weird implications for the future. Maybe not though, maybe Yugo has been warned enough, he's not the type to enjoy the feeling that comes with being extremely powerful too much after all. The Eliacube freaked him out, the 6 Dofus made him scared the whole time and the consequences sucked, and the Eliasphere can litteraly cause his death. I think if anyone can hold that much power, that would be him (or Joris, Joris looks like he can be trusted with pretty much anything)
Big nope on Toross for trying to make Nora his bride. Nopenopenopenopenope go away. I'm surprised Yugo managed to keep a straight face, because I think I would have just gone for the throat.
Also imagine being a walking talking pan flag and people still assume you're straight.
There are definetly implications that Toross is the one being responsible for the disappearance of the gods. If he can tell the difference between the strengh of a god and that of a demi-god, that means he fought both, and won.
Nora going from forcing herself to be distrustful of Yugo to believing him fully did warm my heart. The short time they spent together doesn't mean they aren’t family.
What do you mean Pinpin never told Eva he loved her??? What??? Really?!?!
Efrim's pain and Nora's love are such a beautiful contrast I feel so much for them I'm not sure I have the words for it.
Flopin is developing his hearing, glad that in a way he didn't miss the wedding.
Btw totally unrelated but Yugo carrying Goultard bridal style during the final fight was NOT on my bingo list.
In the end, Toross' pain and loneliness are eternal, and there litteraly no saving him from his own personal hell. In a lot of ways his story is similar to Qilby's, but the one thing that separates them is the choice: Qilby could still choose to stop hurting his own in service of himself, Toross condemned everyone, including himself, and he can do nothing about it anymore.
Are Nora and Efrim stuck wherever they are together for all of eternity or are their Wakfu going back to their Dofus?
Omg. A wedding. My dude it all happened too fast, the worldwide political chaos that's going to ensue, I'm here for it.
I feel like they did originally want to show us the transition from the Era of Wakfu to Waven but they ended up focusing more on the characters, and that's a very good thing, that allows for Yugo to have a truly, undeniable win thanks not just to being overpowered, due to the main antagonist somehow being worse, but also thanks to the power of friendship and plus if affinity.
Overall those last 3 episodes I was hyped the whole way, and it's crazy because I don't think I felt a feeling that strong so regularly for an entire hour. I write that part about an hour after having watched everything and I still haven't come down, but now I'm having a bit of a feeling like I'm about to cry in the back. That means season 4 of Wakfu was even more amazing than everything I hoped for, because when I'm hoped for something there typically always is that empty feeling. Not here. I'm very, very happy.
The ending really feels like there's more, so I'm happy to know that there will be a manga.

NOTE before reading, the following covers wakfu season 4 spoilers and the content of my rant.
After watching the first four episodes of wakfu season 4, I felt bad, bad, BAD, BAD, BAD.
It seems like everyone is happy to see Qilby acting like a……fool?
So far Qilby's interactions with Yugo are basically a repeat of the season 2 finale. The only difference is that he's gone from heavy wise guy to non-stop whiny little guy?
But it looks like everyone is enjoying the "brotherly bickering" and "good mother" plot. Even though one of them seems unnecessary to me, and the other would have been better off never appearing.
The worst part is that the ultimate proposition of eternal solitude is downgraded to "petty squabbling in front of a good mother."
Goddess hair is so good, they bring peace, warmth and love so why not just soak Qilby in the pile all the time and the problem of going crazy is solved!
Lonely souls laying heavy fates look like A JOKE in front of this pile of hair.
OK, you now know one of the reasons why I wish why the goddess didn't show up …….
And the title of episode 8, "Betrayal"? Combine that with the spoilers from Waven - Lokus the Guardian versus Qilby with six Eliatropes dofus?
Is Qilby's characterisation moving forward on a flat path? Becoming the son of a good mother's cunning? Become a stumbling block on the good brother's path to kingship? A smooth-talking, self-serving jerk?
Don't get back to me with "that's just the way he is".
Because of that episode 3, everyone now refers to Qilby as mummy's little boy. (I know, maybe people want to show a different side of Qilby, it's refreshing…? But the object and the timing, so bad ……)
(And for some reason Nora always reminds me of Arpagone. basically nothing special.)
I know what I'm saying isn't welcome at all, these are heavy, harsh words. But the intent was not to cause anyone any pain. I hope ankama is having fun and all is well with the company activities. But it hurts to see a favourite character turn out like this.
Of course I hope I'm wrong and good things might happen after that, but then I'm afraid to expect anything unrealistic. I'd better not think about anything.
If you don't agree with what I'm saying, you can simply dismiss these as the whining of fools and just have fun looking at them.

EN- I really like Ruel and Arpagone. I also liked the sepia sequences that we can see in the series, which recalls the memories of Ruel in his young years ... A small tribute to these two characters who finally meet again, years later.

A silly question but I am a huge Yugo and Amalia shipper so were there any moments with them in the manga just asking please I love this ship so much
It not silly! I love me some Yumalia as well! Unfortunately, there isn’t alot of moments with them, which is weird considering how much ship tease they got in the earlier volume and how much of this volume seems to be towards setting up for the OVAs/Season 3
What we do get is some moments of them talking, such as when they are discussing what to do regarding Jiva and the Dofus
But then she is kind of out of the way for most of the battles, so they don’t really interact again until Yugo comes back from the big final battle, but we do get a cute hug!
And I personally think it is cute how Amalia immediatly begins holding Chibi after they rescue him, espeically how Grougal has no problrem with it given how protective he has been shown.
But yeah, other than that pickings are kind of slim :(
Though regarding shipping and Season 3, we do get some Ruel and Arpagone foreshadowing at the end!

Weird things I want Ankama to explain.
Why did Tot develop the adventures after season 2 into a manga? Was it because of budget related reasons? Because it couldn’t have been for its maturity. Tot follows the audience as it kept growing and at the time, the majority were still young. The only reason why the Great Wave, on the other hand, got turned into a manga was because it was apparently going to get graphic.
Why did Tot jump 6 years into the future instead of making more adventures when the gang still had no responsibilities or duties?
Why did tot not make up a new queen outfit for Amalia in the Great Wave instead of making her feel limited to her strict s4 budget? I thought the entire point of converting the story into a manga is to be finally be free from restrictive animation budgets.
Why was Arpagone added into the story??? Ruel specifically stated in two moments that he never got married. In season 1, he spoke to Kabrok and when the wife topic came up, insinuated that if he ever had a wife like Miranda, he'd stop his adventures. And in season 2, when Yugo asks Ruel if he has ever fallen in love, Ruel says that he did and had many lovers in the past but ALMOST married one of them. In season 3, we see that he officially married Arpagone, which completely contradicts what he has said in season 2.
Why are there good concept arts of the characters from seasons 3-4 from the yt videos Ankama uploads for us but these same concept arts are not included in their respective season artbooks??? I thought the whole point of an artbook was to show ALL character concepts and sheets.
Why did Nora have this entire redesign? Don't get me wrong, I think she looks cool as hell but it threw me off so much when I first watched the S4 trailer. I had to get used to it lol
It's funny how Wakfu's main role was to introduce the eliatrope class but then finally opted to introduce a sub branch of it being the 'eliotropes' instead. Like Tot please give us more info in Season 5, you literally did an entire reboot of the eliatropes' history FOR SOME REASON and it now feels like we're back where we started because of Season 4. We now have more questions than answers and it literally took us 16 years to get here and we BARELY SCRATCHED THE SURFACE.
Sooo are we just gonna forget about how Amalia dreamed of Sadida telling her to go out and help a hero? The hero being Yugo? She literally tells Eva in Season 1 that she had a dream of her GOD, but Eva doesn't believe her cuz she thinks she's making up things or whatever. But when Amalia says the same thing to Armand, again, NO ONE BATS AN EYE??? Tot you seriously need to give me an explanation for why Amalia was able to meet her god like this, AND why she seems to have a special connection with the Tree of Life SINCE IT SPECIFICALLY CHOSE HER TO POSSESS DURING NOX'S WAR. Also, why would Sadida willingly make Amalia meet Yugo?? I ain't complaining, I think it's such an interesting thing to know about, BUT EVEN AFTER FOUR SEASONS AND THREE SPECIAL EPISODES, we still don't know why she is so special! She was even able to find a solution for Pandiego's village CUZ HER FUCKING TEARS HAPPENED TO BE THE SOLUTION FOR THE MILK PROBLEM ‼️‼️‼️‼️

Hot Take
Season 3 should have revealed Eva is a demigoddess instead of Ruel.
Now, don't get me wrong, I'm actually quite happy with season 4 focusing on her origins and Madagaskan, even if that was clearly only introduced to set up Flopin's character arc during the upcoming Waven series. But the thing I can never seem to get over is how irrelevant the Cra actually are in season 3. Their arc is literally to be rescued/to escape and to give birth (in Eva's case).
Because, let's face it, their relevance in the season hinged entirely on being Tristepin's family. Eva in particular, regardless of how cordial Echo was to her, seemed to have no value outside of being Tristepin's wife who's carrying his third child, who was later revealed to be an extremely powerful demigod.
Meanwhile, poor Flopin's kidnapping didn't even make sense because he just isn't a demigod like his siblings. Yes, he is Iop's son, but he's not an Iop, so he couldn't inherit any of his father's divine powers. As opposed to Élely and Pin, who already displayed theirs at 5 years old and before being even born, respectively. Hell, that ended up being the crux of his character in season 4! His insecurities over not being as extraordinary as his family, especially his siblings!
Yes, you could say Oropo's real plan besides killing the gods was to make Yugo's friends his, and that's why he wanted Eva and Flopin around. But considering he didn't seem all that contrite over Adamaï almost causing Iop's next reincarnation while he couldn't even bring himself to make Amalia age (even though he was not above breaking her spirit so she'd be easier to manipulate), it's fairly obvious he cared more about keeping certain members of the Brotherhood near than others. Which further proves he only kidnapped Eva and Flopin because of their connection to Pinpin.
And let's face it, between that and how out of focus they were compared to the Iops, that's just such a huge disservice to their characters. They deserve so much more than to orbit around Tristepin.
Which is why I believe Eva should have been Cra's daughter and Oropo's target instead of Ruel. Even though nothing really suggested her divine origins before, they could have always hand-waved it and have that explain her craziest feats, like how she was able to keep up with two demigods even while heavily pregnant or her formidable archery skills. Because, come on, until Madagaskan was introduced, the only relevant Cra in the show were Eva, Cleo, and Flopin. It's not like by the time season 3 dropped we'd seen any other member of their race display the same level of dexterity so as to make Eva's prowess being divine in nature not make sense.
Also, in could retroactively explain her exceptional beauty, since most Cra we've seen are actually fairly plain-looking.
Besides, you're telling me that out of the original members of the Brotherhood of the Tofu, only the boys are the ones related to gods? Come on. Is a little bit of parity that much to ask?
And let's face it, Ruel being Enutrof's son doesn't bring anything new to the table other than some shock value. Like, I get he's always been hinted to be more than meets the eye, but being a demigod doesn't really add much to his character.
Hey, maybe I just don't know much about Enutrofs since they don't give me brainrot compared to other classes, but compared to the rest of his kind, Ruel isn't all that unique either, except for how utterly greedy he is. His powers and attacks, while impressive at times, can never reach their full potential because he just doesn't pay tribute to Enutrof, so they remain relatively weak. And though being a demigod would explain how long-lived he is, that falls flat as well when Arpagone seems to be just as old as he is and his grandma's even older.
Again, longevity could be a standard Enutrof power I'm just not aware of. Still, it pretty much proves my point, doesn't it?
Not to mention, it's not like changing Ruel's status as the group's surprise demigod would really change anything from his storyline in season 3. They could have perfectly had Arpagone be the Enutrof demigoddess whose condition to play a part in Oropo's plan was to be allowed to keep her husband even as she ascended to godhood. Hence, you still get your flashback episode and an excuse to capture Ruel and have Sipho replace him to drive a wedge between Yugo and Amalia and kidnap the latter.
But no, let's go with the plot point that won't be touched upon ever again.
And speaking of things that wouldn't necessarily change just because Eva were a Cra demigoddess, you could still keep Madagaskan's role in season 4!
Maybe just make it so Eva and Cleo are actually half-sisters with the same father but a different mother (or vice versa, given the goddesses' apparent distaste for getting pregnant themselves). While I'd personally prefer it if Madagaskan simply had a tryst with Cra and then he fell in love with his late wife, if you're into drama, Eva could always be the result of an affair but his wife chose to take her in and raise her as her own, anyway. Hence, you would have another reason why Madagaskan went along with her last wish, out of love for her and to repay her kindness and forgiveness.
(Or you could enforce his love for his wife by having him be the one to accept her other child and to make sure both her and his own daughter had a better life).
And from then on, everything could play out exactly like canon.
In fact, Eva being semi-divine would also add another layer to Cleophée's inferiority complex and feelings of inequacy compared to her older sister. Much like Flopin, of course she could never catch up to Eva no matter how hard she tried, she isn't a demigoddess!
Which would make Eva's acceptance and pride over her abilities all the more meaningful too (even if by then they wouldn't know the truth).
And speaking of Flopin, his season 4 storyline would remain the same, too. After all, even if he would now be related to Cra, he'd still be a demigoddess' child first and foremost.
As @cocogum explored in one of her analyses, the children of demigods are their own can of worms. So far, we don't know anything about Kali and Poo's baby, but we do know that Goultard's children certainly didn't inherit immortality of any kind, so it wouldn't be far-fetched to assume they didn't inherit his divine powers either. In other words, Flopin could still feel left out—even with more reason, since now he would be the only "non-exceptional" member of his family—and choose to follow his grandfather in order to find his own path.
I guess what I'm trying to say with all this is that while Amalia might be my blorbo and Yumalia my OTP, I still care for all the members of the Brotherhood of the Tofu, especially Eva. And I can't really forgive that while Pinpin still had focus and issues of his own by virtue of being the reincarnated Iop god, Eva's character was ultimately reduced to being his wife and mother of his children when she's actually so much more than that.

Wakfu Season 3, Episodes 7-13
Episode 7 - Pinball Hazard
Of course you would say that, Ruel.
Are those Nora's........
Anyway.
Fun fact: these are Kerubim's cards from rehab.
I have no idea what Ush is doing with them, but it is funny that he has them.
Episode 8 - Arpagone
Even though I have rewatched s3 multiple times (sadly), I am still not sure if Ankama means for us to go away from it thinking that Ruel is an enutrof demigod.
If I am not insane, and it is what we are meant to understand, then all I can say is: instead of retconning things, they should have added some cool new demigod, or brought in an old one. This sucks.
They shuoild add Meriana in Wakfu. Though not as a brotherhood member, she would never join their cult.
HIIII SIMONE. Once again, I am not sure if this is Ankama saying that Ruel is older than 600 years old and all of his "omg dofus era was so long ago... haha" was a strategic gaslight to keep people from knowing (AND that his grandmother is ALSO older than 600 years old)
Or if Ankama just has no regard or respect for Dofus Aux Tresors de Kerubim and people who watch their shows, and decided "we hate one of the literal main characters of that show so much that we will use her as a background character design" as early as s3, actually.
More weirdass asset reusages have hit the pentagon. Yeah, I'm pretty sure Ankama just unironically hates Dofus fans or expects nobody to care about that show or Simone as a character.
Like... what does this mean. Does this mean that he's older than 600 years? Does this mean he's a demigod, BUT he's a normal mortal age? One of leaked studio timelines says he's approximately 200 years old, but so is YUGO'S DAD, WHO IS MORTAL. Is THAT canon? Ankama can you actually settle on a singular thing here?
I think I hate enutrof lore now 🤪
Episode 9 - The Sadida Temple
#kin #me #same #female manipulator #literally me #coquette
Episode 10 - When the Walls Fall Down
This episode is so cringe it makes me suicidal.
Ok fine, Pinpin being happy IS cute. I'll give you that, Tot.
Episode 11 - Oropo
When Ankama Misogyny Olympics happen and Julith, Aurora, Lou, Jiva, Eva, Simone, and Bakara show up to compete — they all just start crying the second Kali comes near them, because they KNOW they'll lose.
I need this season to be over asap, I can't take this anymore. Adamai, Amalia... I'm so, so sorry that the writers have lobotomized you.
Episode 13 - Inglorium
Ok I unironically cried. I hate this series for making me cry because of season 3.
