The image flickered onto the screen as the broadcast began. Lando, clothed comfortably in sweats, a cap, and his streaming headphones, looked briefly off camera to where his guests sat waiting to be introduced.

He glanced up at Streamlabs and was shocked to see he had upwards of 30,000 viewers. He had only just started the stream and many people had likely not even gotten the Twitch notification yet. He shook off his shock and plastered on his usual smirk.

Everything is fine. I am totally and completely fine.

"Welcome, welcome. How are you all doing today? There's a lot of people here already. What's the special occasion guys?" He joked, being met with a scoff from the girl to his left.

Everything is not fine at all.

Lando almost never felt nervous when he would stream. After all, he was just playing game with his friends, the chat comments streaming through at a speed he could barely read. Even then, being in Formula One for so long meant he was used to being watched, his every little move being observed nearly constantly since his debut in 2019.

And yet all it took was her presence and suddenly he was nervous. His palms were sweaty, his heart was beating at a mile a minute- honestly you would think he were racing. How could he be expected to be funny and charming when she was here. She never seemed to struggle much in the department. It was almost entirely natural for her. Being perfect was like breathing air to Y/n he suspected.

As he watched the chat messages stream past even quicker on his monitor, he finally caught Oscar's gaze out of the corner of his eye. The younger man quirked a brow at him. What's your problem? His teammate seemed to say. He ignored him. Stupid Oscar and his stupid opinions and his stupid, uncomplicated love life. Lando envied the Australian most days, but now he just wanted to punch him straight in the jaw.

"Alright, it seems like most people are here already, so I'll just get started. I'm sure you're all wondering who my special guests are. The suspense must be killing you surely," He teased his audience. He ignored the completely accurate guesses in his chat.

Was he so predictable that it could be assumed it was either his teammate, Y/n, or Max were his special guests? Or was this a more unfortunate warning sign that he was just plain old boring.

"Seems like most people in chat were smart enough to figure it out! Please give a warm welcome to my guests! The lovely, stunning, awe-inspiring Y/n!" He cheered as the girl groaned, rolling her chair forward so she was behind him and within the frame of the camera.

"Oh and also Oscar's here," Lando added boredly, voice almost entirely monotone. Oscar scoffed loudly and he shot into frame kicking Lando's chair roughly, almost knocking him over and startling a laugh out of the girl behind them.

"Your an asshole mate," Oscar scoffed. Lando didn't hear him. The melodic laughing in his ear from Y/n was quite frankly the only sound his brain could process.

Who knew a laugh could sound so beautiful.

Who knew I could be so god damn embarrassing, Lando thought miserably.

"Guys do you see what I have to put up with!? How I get any shit done around here is a wonder," Y/n scoffed, "Anyways, welcome everybody, this is my stream now." Lando squawked indignantly.

"Excuse you, your in my home!"

"Yeah, unfortunately," she muttered with an eye roll and Oscar laughed.

"You should be grateful! Although these aren't the circumstances I was hoping to have you here under for the first time," Lando said with a completely unsubtle wink.

Y/n grimaced and Oscar doubled over with the force of his laughter.

"Viewers I am so sorry, please leave now, I have no way to muzzle him and apparently I can't sensor him," Y/n scowled.

"I fear he might enjoy that," Oscar muttered with a shake of his head.

Oh you motherfucker, Lando thought. Talk about subtle.

"If it was you, I probably would," Lando said to the girl and she planted her palm into the center of his face and shoved him lightly.

"Oh gross, cooties or STDs or whatever it is you men carry," Y/n shook her hands off and fake gagged.

"EXCUSE ME!" Lando shouted as Oscar nearly fell out of his chair.

"You're excused!"

Y/n was holding on to her sanity by a thread. Or whatever was smaller than a thread... a hair or something. They had been answering fan questions for nearly 15 minutes already and Lando had decided today would be the day he would do nothing but flirt with her incessantly. He was like a child with a question or dog with a bone; He wouldn't let it the fuck go.

The sound of text-to-speech beginning dragged Y/n out of her thought spiral.

"Lando, what is your favorite video you've ever filmed?" The question asked.

Oh brother, Y/n thought. She looked at Oscar and he only laughed. How helpful.

"Probably the water TikTok challenge," Oscar hummed in agreeance.

"Why?" Y/n asked in confusion. She realized belatedly that asking Lando anything right now was probably a bad idea. She had set herself up this time.

"I don't know, I'm just a personal fan of anything that involves your hands in my hair," He smirked and she rolled her eyes. Her stomach flipped as she looked at his eyes. How could such a stupid, stupid man have such nice eyes (and lips, and teeth, and-).

"Well that's interesting," She smirked back, leaning her body toward him, ignoring the way she was blushing down to her chest. Her ears felt hot. It was hard to focus when she felt like she was burning alive, an unfortunate side effect that seemed to come with the irritating Brit in front of her.

"That was my favorite too," she added and Lando's eyes widened. Oscar looked at her in confusion over Lando's head.

"Really?" Lando asked, suprise clear in his voice. His smirk fell away for only a moment, but it was long enough for Y/n to notice.

Poor little Lando Norris, she thought. A bit too easy to read, this one.

"Yep," she grinned, before letting her face fall. "I'm a big fan of anything that means I can drown you." She responded in a monotone voice. Oscar cackled. The poor guy had hardly been asked any questions. Y/n found she didn't feel too bad anyway. The asshole was enjoying her suffering far too much.

Y/n knew the chat was going wild at their interactions, but she didn't really find herself caring. Maybe this was a bad look from a PR stand point, but then again didn't they always say "any press is good press."

Y/n wondered if the idiots who said that had ever had an inappropriate attraction to their asshole of a coworker, who just so happened to be public figure with fans who were becoming more aware of the tension with every day that interacted.

Probably fucking not.

Y/n watched as Lando's faux upset face cracked into a smile as he began to laugh heartily. She couldn't help but smile. Y/n was finding it hard to hold onto whatever grudge she had before. Maybe Lando Norris and his perfect smile, and his stupid jokes and his charming attitude weren't all that bad. Maybe, just maybe.

But they had absolutely no affect on her. None at all.

a/n: I HAVENT WRITTEN IN MONTHS SORRY here tho!

Peter’s life was boring—peaceful, but boring. Don’t get him wrong; being Spiderman is cool and all, but Peter Parker’s life could use some work. The most exciting thing that has happened to him recently was the time he got two yolks in one egg. Riveting stuff, right?

During another one of his literature classes that he doesn’t know why he took, he spots you. With a bow in your hair and a knit sweater falling over your figure, your head propped on your manicured hand while scribbling notes with the other. You sit in front of him and if Peter squints, he can see the small doodles littering the pages. Before he knows it, the professor announces that the lecture is done for the day. Peter panics; he wants to talk to you before you disappear and turn out to be a dream, but what would he even say? Doesn’t matter anymore since he chases after you to the door.

“Hey,” he says, looking a tad flushed after tripping over someone's water bottle.

“Oh, hi” you respond, your eyes a little widened at the sudden interaction.

“I, uh, I’m Peter” he say, sticks out his hand for you to shake. You take it and tell him your name. He repeats it in his head about a hundred times.

“I just, uhm, wanted to ask about…” he trails off, trying to remember if there were any assignments given. “The essay he said we had to do, yeah. When is it due again?” he hopes to any higher being that there was an essay due soon.

“Ah, yeah, it’s due next Monday” you reply, giving him a tight-lipped smile, ready to go back to your dorm.

“Cool, uhm, thanks! See you around, hopefully” with that, he bolts, leaving you confused and flushed. Hopefully

Two days later, Peter sees you again. It’s in the same class, and you’re as pretty as ever. He psyches himself up to sit next to you.

You look up from your laptop when he asks you if he can sit next to you. You nod, of course, and smile. He looks nervous, with fingers tapping on the table and cheeks a little red. It’s cute.

“Have you started on that essay?” you ask, trying to start conversation since it looks like he won’t.

“Huh? What essay? We have an essay?” he turns to face you, eyes wide.

“Yeah, the one you asked me about?” you laugh a little.

“Oh, no, I didn’t” his shoulders slump back down, and you smile at him.

“I didn’t either; I had other work to finish” he stares at you a little; it’s flattering, really. How shy he is around you. He barely knows you, but he’s convinced himself that you’re the greatest thing ever. He also may have looked up your instagram and fallen even harder as he looked at all your posts. Peter now knows what you ate at Thanksgiving 3 years ago.

“Same, I’m in STEM so you could imagine” he says, resting his head onto the table. Sleep deprivation a thing he is well acquainted with, unfortunately.

“STEM, wow, you must be smart then. Why’re you taking a classic lit class then?” Sure, you might’ve slipped in a compliment; it's not a crime to flirt a little. It takes Peter a few seconds to respond as he processes what you said, you think he’s smart.

“Uh, I was going through a phase with classic lit at the time, and I’ve been lazy to drop it. And, uh, I’m not that smart—pretty average actually. Like the most moderate person ever” He’s rambling and kind of lying. He’s doing really well in his other classes.

“Yeah? I think you’re pretty smart if you’re in STEM. Not everyday a guy is both pretty and smart.” His cheeks turn even redder, if possible, and he makes a sort of out of breath sound. “If you need any help with this class, I’d be happy to give you my notes on the book”

From then on, you sit beside him and throw in some flirty comments while he struggles to reciprocate. It feels too good to be true, how you seem interested in him and how you eagerly talk to him after lectures, even giving hm your number to talk about “class”. He’s waiting for the day you ghost him.

“Hey, would you maybe want to, like, hang out? Like on a date or something? Or just as friends! Actually, yeah, just hang out as friends; forget I said date sorry,“ he flounders, waiting for the rejection. Oh God, he’s just messed up the whole friendship and you’re gonna think that he’s weird and a creep and-

“I’d love to go on a date, Peter,” you smile “I was waiting for you to ask.”

“Oh, great, is Saturday at 3 okay? I’ll meet you outside your building and we could walk to that arcade?” He asks, eyes hopeful.

“Saturday at 3 is great. I love arcades, but you have to help me with the claw machines” For someone so smart and handsome, he doesn’t let himself think people like him.

“See you Saturday, Peter” you tiptoe to kiss his cheek, leaving sticky residue from your sparkly gloss and walk to your next class. He stands in place, a little starstruck and a lot flustered. He leaves the lipgloss there.

Saturday finally comes, and now it’s your turn to be nervous. You’ve switched outfits countless times, your hair is out of place, and your makeup doesn’t seem to flatter you. You’ve settled on a pretty blue dress with tights to protect you from the small chill. Two little bows clipped into your hair and knit cardigan falling over your shoulders—makeup finally looking presentable enough with maybe a little too much glitter on your eyes, but whatever. Your phone chimes as you’re applying pink sparkly gloss, and your heart skips a beat. He’s here.

You throw your phone and lip gloss in your purse and bolt out the door. You spot him outside your building, as promised. He looks wonderful. Brown sweater and worn-in denim jeans—you can’t believe he’s so shy around you when he looks like that. He finally spots you, and wow, he thinks.

“Hey," he scolds himself for being so casual when he should be whisking you away to Italy, or something. He could’ve at least gotten you flowers.

“Hi, you look great,” you say in front of him, and seeing you up close is making him fall even harder, if possible.

“You look, wow, you’re just, wow” he can’t even believe you’re into him.

“Cmon, I wanna win some plushies,” you say, grabbing his hand and pulling him along. He grips your hand harder and laces your fingers.

The walk is calm and the air is starting to get cool. You talk about class and a show you started. Peter listens intently, making mental notes about what you like and don’t like. Your hands stay intwined, and his thumb traces patterns on the back of your hand. He’s gotten more comfortable and less panicky in your presence, so you get to see his personality shine through. He’s incredibly funny. You can’t stop laughing on your way there, and he can’t stop thinking of more things to make you laugh.

The arcade is dark, with flashing lights from every game. Peter goes to buy some tokens, refusing your offer to pay half. Grabbing Peter’s hand and making a beeline for the claw machines, everyone knows they’re rigged, but you don’t care. You eagerly take the tokens and attempt to win the Kuromi plushie. After the 5th? 6th attempt? When the claw has dropped the plushie, you give up.

“Why do they do this to people! It’s false hope!” you whine to Peter as he laughs at your pout.

“Lemme try,” he nudges you over and puts in a token.

You watch with eyebrows furrowed as he wins it on his first attempt.

“What the hell, Peter?” you crouch to pull the plushie from the machine.

“What? Do you not like it?” He faces you, examining the stuffed, is she a rabbit? What animal even is Kuromi?

“I love her; just, how did you win it?” You look up at him incredulously. He must have some weird power that makes him win every claw machine.

“Oh, I don’t know; just position it right?” He laughs, his eyes crinkling in the process. You want to smooth them out with your fingers.

“Thank you!” you’re genuinely really excited over a cheap stuffed toy, not because you really wanted it, but because Peter won it for you. You wrap your arms around his neck in thanks. Peter freezes. He fees like a teenager at how he’s reacting to a hug of all things. He snaps back and hugs you back. You pull away to kiss his cheek. This is the second time you’ve kissed his cheek, and he doesn’t know how he’ll ever get used to it.

“Lets go play games, pretty boy,” pulling away and leaving Peter to gather his brain and follow along.

You watch as he plays Pac-Man; its silly, but you love his face when he’s focused. Brows furrowed and lips in a thin line. He really is the most gorgeous man you’ve ever seen. And he’s infatuated with you! Of all people! You swear half the girls in the class have a crush on him, but he gets nervous around you. You play some air-hockey, which you won (he let you win), and he won you some more plushies and some candy at the infamous claw machines.

When the games get old, the two of you leave the building. The sun is setting at this point, and you’re dreading leaving him.

“Oh, look! There’s a photo booth!” you point, excitedly tugging on his arm. “We should take some pictures.” you drag him into the booth, both of your thighs squished together and his legs at an awkward angle. He feeds the machine a few bucks, and the screen starts to count down.

You put on a sickly sweet smile, scrunching your eyes while Peter smiles big with pearly white teeth on display. The second photo you lean into Peter and he wraps his arm around you, pulling your body close to his. The third photo, you go for it. You grab his face and kiss him. His hands stay in the air as the glitter on your lips transfers to his. You taste like vanilla. You pull away, a little anxious that he didn’t want it. Those thoughts get pushed away when he grabs the sides of your face and kisses you until you can’t think. His hands are warm and big covering your cheeks as his lips move against yours. You reach up to wrap your arms around his neck once more and deepen the kiss. Your lips move together in tandem as he strokes your cheeks with his thumbs, the movement comforting.

The fourth photo is blurry, and you walk out with all your lipgloss on Peter’s lips.

Maybe Jay inhuman could be in the administration due to be a “dangerous wild life specimen” so he just chills in his cell barking to every one who comes near him.

As a matter of a fact Agent Roderick got bitten several occasions trying to feed raiju Jay meanwhile agent Underwood is in good terms with our favorite Wolf boy she even let him “play”/ destroy dangerous objects. One day the administrator discovers this so as a joke promotes him as a manager in the dangerous artifact deapartment and for the name they just said random names until he recated (subconsciously knows it) and he is now in one of those dog suits. Instead of Arin almost founding him Lloyd has to fight a nindroid an his crazy wolf.

As for his next appearance he is used as a hunt dog for the administration to find zane. Only Gandalaria knows he is a raiju and not an anoying dog in a suit and a gun(?!). Like in cannon they are defeated leaving manager Jay behind but the wolf mask army take him with them in the wibbily-wobbily teleport magic. Once with ras is helped by Jordana (parallel of Aspherra helping Nya) to return to his human form and with this get can get to the cannon events with the ninja in the tournament. He gots his memory back and has this awesome formling like magic also Lloyd is a little weird with Jay’s wolf form because he feels guilty for not recognize him in the demolition room.

him being caught by the administration as a dangerous species could actually work quite well, given their dehumanisation of nindroids already. jay underwood friendship is so real actually and him being manager of the artifacts demolition department... lloyd just wants to know who gave a dog a gun

and then him being a hunting dog for zane gahsgjshdjdhd gandalaria definitely knows what he is but shes nonchalant about it. "a raijū, huh? i havent seen any of those in a while... shame, it looks like this one's already subscribed to bureaucracy".

i dont think jay has any physical issue accessing him human form in this au! its more a matter of he doesnt want to. he wakes up post-merge in his raijū form as an instinctive survival method, and he has amnesia so he doesn't remember his human identity. as a result, he feels more raijū than human, and mostly stays in the form. this does change when he joins the shadow dojo though, just like you suggested, but even when in his human form, he describes himself solely as a raijū and doesn't hold himself to human standards or social norms. when he gets his memory back, humanity becomes a much greater part of his identity again, but its now in tandem with his raijū identity which yeah does mean he shapeshifts >:)

hello!!! i love all the questions so heres my answers for each one!!!

i love igneous rocks! specifically a'a, a type of volcanic rock found pretty commonly where i live! i dont really remember the last time i had them, probably a couple months back i got some from some sort of store LOL but they are very good i dunno... probably cherry or sum, i havent used chapstick in like years so i cant remember i actually dont sketch for my art, i just go straight into lineart (probably a sin), the only time ive sketched is in AJPW, where opacity doesnt exist, so i use purple usually for that LOL im not huge into shipping, i liked pillowbook for a while, but other than that i dont know many ships or really mind them all too much! for the ship, i havent seen it before, but i dont mind it!! seems neat! the first shows i watched when i joined the osc were the basic ones (bfdi/bfb), and also object filler (again) by diamondcup57!!

I've seen a few fics like that, especially the robins (e.g. dick/jason, jason/tim??) but I generally avoid them bc they make me feel uncomfy personally, even if they're not characterized as brothers/sisters in that particular fic - cuz i cant kid myself into thinking that i'll ever see them as anything but siblings 🥹

then there's also the stephanie/tim thing?? my understanding of stephanie's dynamic in the batfamily is limited since i got into the dc fandom mainly through fic, but i'm under the impression that some canons have that, and stephanie is not totally considered part of the batfamily (as in bruce's daughter). while other times it's tim/kon, and I'm very supportive of the increasing inclusion of queer representation in the "dc canon", but i guess it's just that the batkids all feel like children, like babies even 🥺🥺

People do ship the batkids together, in a variety of related/not related scenarios. It's not everyone's cup of tea. Some people like it. Some people get very squicked by it. All reactions are valid. I am a big proponent of ship and let ship -- people are going to write what they're going to write. If you don't like to read that, hit the back button. Like you said, you have already identified that you don't like it, and now you avoid it. That's awesome!

Tim/Steph vs Tim/Kon can also be a touchy subject in fandom. Steph's inclusion in the batfamily depends on the fanon and/or canon. People have strong opinions about this. My reaction is always, teens have relationships. Messy relationships. Tim and Steph and Tim and Kon can all happen and it doesn't make anyone more or less deserving of love or a relationship. They're kids figuring themselves out -- it makes sense that it's messy.

I like ghostbat! I will admit I'm not as familiar with the ship as I could be. I mostly consume secondhand info here on tumblr. @allgremlinart's blog is a great place to start if you haven't already.

“Jotaro?” You dropped a ceramic mug, shattering it to pieces on the tile flooring of the cafe you owned.

“O-Oh…” Jotaro rubbed the back of his neck, his face going a bright shade of red. “Hey. I uh… didn't know you worked here.”

“Y-Yeah,” you quickly swept up every broken piece you could find, your face turning a dark crimson. “I do. It’s uh… It's been a while, huh?” You threw away the pieces of the mug into the trash and turned back to Jotaro.

He looked way different. I mean, yeah… he was older, but… wow. The last time you had seen each other was at the airport after Egypt. You stayed in a bit of contact, but you haven't actually seen each other. The last place you were expecting to see him was in a cafe in the middle of the little town of Morioh.

“It sure has. What have you been up to?” Jotaro pulled up a chair and sat down, looking at you with those gorgeous eyes. God, you hated how you still looked at him like a child with a stupid crush.

“Uh… nothing really. I just decided to open a coffee shop… that's about it. Speaking of, do you want anything to drink?”

“Oh, yeah. That’s why I came in here in the first place. I'll just take a black coffee.” The man never changed, did he?

You chuckled to yourself and made him a black coffee, setting it down at his table. “You know, Jotaro,” you pulled up a chair, holding your own coffee in between the sleeves of your sweater. “You look really good in white.”

Jotaro smiled at you and you smiled back, hiding your blushing face with your hair.

“So is there really nothing interesting going on with you, y/n? I mean, you still have a stand and all, I just can't imagine the strong person I met back in the 80s is now just the owner of a silly little coffee shop.”

You could see the slight shock in his eyes, and you couldn't blame him. You knew how to use your stand. You were smart and strategic. You worked well with others. You were… definitely not just some simple coffee shop owner. At least back then you weren't.

“I worked for the Speedwagon Foundation for a while, but… I don't know. I guess I just didn't like it. I like my coffee shop. Do I miss the danger and action from back then? Sure. But real life isn't really like that. Plus, Morioh is nice.”

“It is nice. I quite like it.” Jotaro swirled his coffee in his hands before gulping the rest of it down.

“So, why are you here? It's just odd to see you in such a small town.”

“Right,” Jotaro giggled. “I guess you’re not caught up in a lot. Just some stand stuff.”

“Ah, gotcha.”

“You know… you could help me if you wanted to.”

You looked up, immediately beaming. “Really?!”

“Of course. I guess I miss us as a team.”

“I knew you had a soft spot, Kujo.” You stood up and quickly landed a peck onto Jotaro’s cheek. “Let me grab my jacket and we can get going.”

Jotaro watched you walk out of the room with a bright red face, dusting his fingers over the warm spot you left on his cheek.

so while witnessing the mod for. technically the second time but the first time after figuring out what was going on with those daves and bambis i was a bit surprised to see that the mod where the wiki says "it actually has a story" had 0 dialogue or anything so i was like. ok. ill make one up in my head

the gist: classic dave bambi lore Except bambi is not a nice wisdom god he's actually a mean war god. hence why everything surrounding him is much more.. aggressive

when pissed off he doesnt just throw his stupid phone at you. his body contorts and shakes and catches fire like some freak of nature. scary

here i have decided bambi is just a vessel of sorts to contain a dormant god and boyfriend hopping into his farm specifically to piss him off somehow wakes up the god Just a little (probably not entirely though? not enough trolling)

lord bambi being a fucked up tyrant here is also inspired by the title of the song "thearchy", which is a word meaning like. you know a monarchy. imagine that but with a god. rule of god. badass word actually. also i think it's funny to interpret mods where expunged is probably supposed to be a god as them like... not being one (im evil)

i did make some kind of design for him based on that opposition form... never really finalized it (i think it looks Too modern blah blah) but here

anyway expunged is actually not the worst guy ever they're just taking bambis form because (???i forgot) anyway they figure out that Hey actually lord bambi was pretty cringe (horrific and bad and scary) and so phonophobia is them having a Strident Crisis about this ROLL CREDITS THEY SAID THE NAME OF THE MOD

also! heebie. hellbreakie. minesweeper. probably the reason you sent this ask it's ok shes cute and fun i get it. i thought it would be funny if shes madden here so she's madden here. specifically she was an executioner for lord bambi because even though he could do it himself it would be worse if he made someone else do it and for some reason this is his goal i forgot why sorry but this is actually where the name hellbreaker comes from here. that's her title... the hellbreaker. after lord bambi dips no one likes her so for one reason or another (i don't think i decided?) she goes to the void and goes funny 3d mode and Actually i think i made her and expungie friends because that would give expunged a reason to freak out during phonophobia because wow how could i be so mean to this guy i respect. or something. yeah

dave also had some part in this whole thing, mainly for the sake of justifying Why the Expunged Is Different, but also i have 0 recollection of what that part Was exactly. i just remember saying something like "wouldnt it be funny if strident crisis dave was emo" (which i said meaning he wears like a darker blue shirt as i think it's very funny when people call any dark clothing emo though sometimes i worry i am only contributing to the watering down of the complexities of alt fashion ? sorry)

anyway i also made designs for strident crisis beef nd geef because i thought it would be cool to base them on the colours they get from hellbreaker's shader. fits the tone better i think !

the plot here would probably be less of a mess if i like, cleaned it up and made something out of it, but also i don't really want to soooo for now all you get is this jumble of words. still think the mod is pretty cool even though i just prefer not to interact with it Too much for Reasons I Forgot but are most likely not important to the general public so don't worry about it

You sighed, staring at the orange glow illuminating your kitchen from the oven. Some friends of yours told you that there were some cops that were visiting the district for a while: trying to keep it safe.

You appreciated that, while Grimsborough was a nice place there seemed to be quite a lot of crime happening since of late, even some petty crimes happening in your part of the city, though something told you that those petty crimes will soon escalate. Right now though you couldn't focus on that, you'll leave that to the cops.

Hearing the ding you smiled and got up from your chair that you placed in front of the oven. Quickly you opened the door and took the tray of the delicious treats, placing it on a cooling rack as you really, REALLY, didn't wanna burn anything. You sat back down onto your chair, waiting patiently, pulling out your phone you scrolled through social media.

Soon enough the cookies had cooled, but they were still warm. " Perfect " you muttered placing the goodies into a box and got up, putting on the most comfortable shoes you owned, getting ready to leave and find the cops. Once you did, get ready you grabbed your belongings which consisted of :: Keys, bag, headphones, phone, cookies. Smiling in a satisficed way you turned and left your dorm / house walking out onto campus.

You tried to ignore all the cheerleaders and Jocks conversing to each other about stupid rumors about your friends, classmates . . . you. Yeah, they loved to talk shit about you and others, but god forbid if someone talks bad about them. While walking you didn't notice the person you were about to bump into and when you did a jumbled of profanities and apologies left your mouth. Stumbling back you stared at the person, who turned out to be one of your classmates :: Tess.

" Oh- shit- Hi Tess! " you smiled at her, Tess was to your knowledge really cool though she was a bit weird as she seemed to be completely obsessed with crime and murder. Tess looked back at you, her annoyed expression turned into a neutral and a somewhat slightly happy one, she returned your smile. " Hello Y/n, have you heard about the police officers that are here ? " She asked, clearly getting excited making you laugh

" Well, yes i have ! Im going to go find them so i can give them some cookies " You kept smiling, Tess's mouth made an 'O' shape before her previous grin returned " Oh? I just saw one of them! over there " she turned behind her and pointed, you looking over her shoulder to see a man, scrolling through his phone :: Clearly not a college student, he had gray-ish brown hair and blue eyes, he was decently tall and didnt seem so bad. You thanked Tess, offering her one of the cookies which she refused to eat, you then left speed walking over to the officer.

" Hey ! Mister- uhh cop ? " You raised your voice to a volume he could here and he did, he turned his head and raised a brow pointing to himself making you nod and speed up. As soon as you reached him you greeted him once more " Hi ! You're one of the cops that came here to protect us, right ? " the guy nodded, a sudden grin appearing on his face " Yes i am, can i help you ? " " Oh well i dont have a crime to report, at least not yet, i came here to welcome you and give you these ! " You shoved the box of sweet treats in his face, waiting for his reaction or respons.

" Wow- really? all this for uh- for me? " he sheepishly grinned, staring at the box which let out a sweet chocolatey smell. You nodded letting him grab the box and shove at least 3 cookies down his throat making you laugh slightly. " I'm Y/n L/n ! Im one of the students here ! " the cop gulped the cookie down and smiled at you. " Im officer David Jones ! " you grinned at him, nodding. His name was basic, which kinda fitted him since he seemed like a basic man.

Just as you were about to speak, the bell rung throughout the scool signaling the start of classes, you groaned looking at the cop. Sighing you smiled and said your goodbyes, getting ready to leave.

" Good bye Officer Jones! I'll see you later, right? "

" Mhm ! "

3. What are some tropes or details that you think are very characteristic of your fics?

insecurity is a big one i’d say. it’s one of my favorite topics to read about in fics too so naturally it made its way into my writing. we’re not gonna look too deeply into how that relates to my own insecurities and journey into learning to love myself, shhhh. crying is also a theme too, because i want my characters to suffer but i also want them to be able to let it out, give them that release shdjfg

as for smut specific details, crying is once again a thing?? ok sure 😅 and overstimulation too, even in the v first smut i ever wrote (your body’s a tether), though the first time i properly went in on that was for eat bathe (make) love where the entire second and third chapter pete is just overstimulated to hell and back. sorry buddy sdbhf

also — im still learning how to write bdsm and kinda chickened out of realllly exploring it for my past fics, so i just kinda stuck to choking and spanking for most of my vp sex scenes, and in the case of intrinsically i actually kind of regret that (the spanking especially, in hindsight i just don’t think it fits the tone and what the characters would do / need right then) 

13. Are there any tropes you used to like but don’t anymore?

ooooh shit i actually rly need to think about this one. idk does abo count? shdnjfk i used to read it sort of almost accidentally, not really realizing what i was getting into with that till much later, back when i used to read a lot of sterek fanfiction (and some destiel too). very occasionally an author will do a lot of legwork with worldbuilding and sell me on it for that fic specifically, but in general i havent been into abo or mpreg themes (not counting a ftm trans character in that — the thing i dislike reading is mpreg that can’t occur irl) for a few years now.

i also used to be more into aus that had nothing to do w canon, like high school aus and (for stuff like merlin) modern aus, which is funny bc i wrote a college au and am now writing a historical au w luna, but i never said i wasn’t a hypocrite hdnjgh — but yeah nowadays i almost exclusively read canon-compliant, canon-divergent, or post-canon fics. i came here for these characters in this setting usually, so then that’s what i seek more of 🤷‍♀️

41. Link a fic that made you think, “Wow, I want to write like that.”

oooh there are MANY. there are some authors whose writing styles have my brain zooming with envy but mostly just so much appreciation and enjoyment. some of my very favorites tend to be angsty fics, and angst is just my go to vibe and genre to read, so while i have many favorites that are more happy or humorous, i'm going to specifically shout out two of the angstiest pete-centric ones that made my chest ache with emotion as i read them: milk teeth by constitutiondumpstat; and only the heart knows. by evashougouki (i still havent gotten around to their recent 20k words pete fic nothing. that i just know is going to break me so good. i rly need to get on that asap but consider this a pre-emptive shoutout to that for probably changing my brain chemistry once i read it as well)

so instead i’ll post a slightly redacted snippet from the 4th chapter of my mobwife au (‘ultraviolet disguise’, a canon-divergent au where pete never got recruited as bodyguard but ends up caught up in mafia bullshit anyway when he starts dating a mafia don named ‘hwan’ who vegas has been trying to take down for a while now)

Sorry it took me so long to say thank you BUT THANK YOU I LOVED THE sihtric x reader( the one with Mani and Sol, i actually love all your sihtric x reader as i am currently obsessed, the man is too fine to be left a character). I literally cant thank you enough, i didnt even expect you to write it honestly, just threw the idea out and hoped you would consider it coz i havent practiced enough writing to actually like my own stories. And I say; just go and write, start little and you will get better along the way. Just keep writing. I mean, I also snort at the first fic that I posted here when I read it back. You really learn as you go. Do not keep yourself from writing because you think you aren't good enough. Go and create! Because I feel like I am shit at writing with every fic I post, and I am literally always just sitting and waiting for replies that will slaughter my fics, and then I will probably just vanish haha, but so far I have been lucky I suppose.

We are our own worst critic, but that doesn't mean that someone else won't enjoy it. Write close to your heart, write fics that you would want to read. Write fics for yourself while you write for others, that's my (wow, very uncalled for) advice. And yes, thank you! I loved my trip so much and I am honestly very sad to be home again :(
