Don't tell me "It's going to be okay". My girlfriend received a death threat for being trans 12 hours after the election closed. A cis straight teammate of mine who is just tall and muscular got shit thrown at her while driving the day after the election.

You *cannot* know it's going to be okay, and just declaring it will be is shoving it into the back of your mind and not doing anything about it.

Is it that where once there was a calm countryside rolling in front of us there's suddenly a yawning, gaping, limitless void that we're hurtling towards while evil men with dead eyes cheer on and pick the pockets of the ignorant and the easily led who are busily trying to cut our brakes? We don't have to rewrite the laws, and couldn't if we tried. But we can make sure that family next door who are nice folks and just don't speak English as a first language know that you and I are safe households if they need help. We'll help that trans guy get a lift to the pharmacy so he can get his T. Hell, just gather in the kitchen with me and sing while we chop veggies for dinner, ask me questions, try my cooking, tell me of your woes, bind your chosen family with mine so we cannot be separated when someone in power tries to drive a wedge between us. Because it'll be a hard road and the only way we get there is by working *together*.

Just don't tell me it'll all be fine.

In my experience, I've come to realize how crucial it is to maintain the right balance between friendship and professionalism in the workplace. Building and keeping good relationships is important but it's just as essential to establish clear boundaries between causual conversation and work tasks.

Here are some of key points I've found helpful:

Set boundaries - it's vital to differentiate between casual chats and focusing on the tasks at hand

Respect other's space and time - always keep in mind that we're at work and everyone has their duties that need attention and completion on time

Communicate respectfully - being polite and professional in all situations, even informal ones is key. One careless word can negatively affect the workplace dynamic

Stay positive - a supportive attitude makes a huge difference. Being in a constant bad mood can influence the entire team and make work progress harder

Desert Eagle trained on a woman who didn't look like an Umbrella researcher, and she had a gun trained him as well. "You're not Umbrella, not gonna even waste time trying to figure out who you are or why you're down here," Cole said as he kept his gun aimed at her. He chuckled when she told him she was here for the sample in his hand. "No way in hell I'm going to hand this over; this is the evidence I need to bring Umbrella down," Cole responded. What American lacks is a great vision. Separatism and radical division and perpetual antagonism will ultimately tear the nation apart.

The space given to fundamentalism and all the oh-so-Christian issues being pushed will pulverise the nation.

A Trump supporter replaces the flag of the United States of America with a Trump flag.

In the Roman Empire, standards of the legion and Rome were sacred. They were kept in a separate room in the respective fortress and guarded.

This traditional practice has survived into modern times.

What was once never allowed to be outside at night and never allowed to touch the ground, the historic flag of the United States of America, is now replaced by a meaninglessly individualised flag with the inscription Trump.

Recognise and unfortunately you have to look a little into the history of mankind, as soon as all the forces are bundled in a country and that means the bourgeoisie, the workers, the economy, the political forces, law and law-giving parties, this nation rises in prosperity and in the greatest.

Out of harmony small things become big, out of discord big things become small.

We are witnessing this process which, depending on the direction it takes, can unfortunately change the world as we know it and this globally in the balance of power between the great powers.
