As the two gave a goodbye to the most recent visitor, a conundrum sitting in the back of one's mind was becoming far too obvious.

"... Would you mind if we stay out for some time longer?"

"Er... Sure? But I don't know if it's a good idea if there's any more humans around-"

"Welcome, welcome. I assume you live at this building. as well?"

"Well, yes... I apologize, you are...?" It felt rather strange for someone to introduce themselves this way. That's better than some encounters... Though...

"Just call me Aeri. I apologize for my... Prying ears, but I will admit this tall fellow is rather obvious. Though worry not, there is places to stealthily get around, if you wish to hear."

"Oh, that's really nice of you! Oh, Hope?"

Shadow and Neo were admittedly much older in terms of how long they've been around, hence why their first pictures are from much, much longer ago. These pictures may make me feel like spontaneously combusting but hey, I was a kid and grew alot since then.

I thought the only thing that would change for Wesn would just be color adjustments, but apparently I was wrong. Funnily enough, I still hadn't fully thought about doing a blog at that point yet when I was sketching out concept art. I wanna say it ended up being an eventual push to have these four be an askblog together.

Shadow:

If you know her from before 2019, you qualify for a veteran's discount. Other the years, both her and Neo-Ka changed So Much. 2014 Shadow and current Shadow are nothing alike. Hers and everyone else's story as it currently is started going the direction the blog is eventually, but even then, so much has changed. Ancient OC is ancient.

Fun fact: Neo and Shadow weren't originally twins! This was a change super late on mostly to make some story parts make sense. Also I wrote her to be significantly edgier when I was younger, which tbh I'm glad I dialed it back and changed things to how they are now (though this may not make sense yet, I hope it will as characters start opening up). Hopefully sooner than later this will make sense lmao

“First, a bat for Neo-Ka! Auncle Morphy helped me a bit with the stitching and cutting, but I drew on the face and got the stuffing. Note to self, cattails are not as good for stuffing as they seem.

“I turned the Holly into a little accessory for Wesn! It can be tied around just about anything, like an ear or a tail, or even attached to the bow he already has to give it a little flair.

“For Hope, a bouquet of my own design! I think hellebores look a little bit like gracideas. I really like daphne because it looks kinda like hydrangeas but wintery, and the winter jasmine adds a little extra color. I even asked my dad to do a little magic so they’ll stay fresh super long!

“And finally, a hand bag for Shadow! I’m extra proud of this one cuz I did most of the weaving myself. I pressed the pansies myself too!”

(@pokege-ne-project ; Wesn) With everything, he struggled to think of something that would be helpful, but he finally had something to suggest.. Maybe.

Approaching Xoloet, he sheepishly waved before speaking. "Er, hi! Sorry for barging in. With who's causing all this.. Maybe there's something around, like writings for what happened last time. And those can be used to figure out some of what to do!.. Though what would be a good place for something like that?"

The most they made were symbols, but there was no record keeping. Everything was expressed through song and dance, spoken word and such.

I have a resource in the interior of the island, but...it's not safe for me to go there anymore.

"Oh no, you look great, though!" Wesn was still getting used to the transformation, especially since the clothes still felt new and unfamiliar to him. It didn't feel helpful to say he was still getting his bearings with it.

"Would you want something like this, though?" Wesn pointed to the outfit, though it had no idea where to really look for that.

(@pokege-ne-project ; Wesn) Ohhh!! Even if it could be called simplistic, the stranger looked stylish! A bit carried away by excitement, Wesn could help but talk a bit with the Meowstic. "Sorry for this, but I really like your look! How did you get it together?"

The Transformation Stone allows to transform Wesn into this universe form.

"Well, its just what makes the most sense, isn't it? One item for one item. Two for one wouldn't be fair, would it?"

"Besides! If I ask for more, people might be less interested, right, right? And then I don't get any coins! No, no, this is the bestest most fair way to get coins!"

Ari thinks for a moment, remembering all the things they did back then that they won't ever forgive themself for. Even if they did get some payback on the people that caused them to lose their way, it won't make up for all that they've done.

"Well, let's just say, I got on a lot people's bad sides when I came to my senses." They let out a chuckle, imagining the reaction they had when they saw Ari's little farewell present. "I'll bet they weren't too thrilled to see that I'd unleashed one hell of a virus on their network as my resignation."
