my heart dropped when i read the statement that sm put out re: taeil, genuinely the last thing i expected to read today. i’m shocked, disappointed, but most of all- i’m angry.

First of all, visual note, the way the text is in bold as if to signify the importance of talking to Mera??

BUT ALSO, looking back, Mera was the only person in the hc to talk about change and chances in a good way before all the shit fully went down

Change. Potential. Chances. It especially means more now, what with rebuilding society, and hopefully being rebuilt to be better. What he said here can be applied in general but even more so with the current state of the country

In Mera being shown as the first hc member we ever see and the first impression, as him talking about potential after failure, that things can still be changed, we as the audience are told there is hope for the kids in the license arc

And the fact that now, Hawks is calling up Mera with the text "how will things change?" next to him, THAT could be pointing to the scene above of Mera's words in the past

Me, lying awake thinking about how they are keeping up 6EM's dark reflection of the Monkey King narrative by how chaotic and willing to attack he is and how Wukong is all verbal shade and protective and then remembering the ShadowPeach AU of JTTW that LMK is so this comes with added context of them personality swapping- and also ow, because seriously those shade remarks are good. "Are you ever going to get tired of living in my shadow?" And next season we get Shadow Play. I think a certain monkey had thoughts on that. But also the way it implies Wukong doesn't want Macaque living in his shadow anymore. I've been thinking for a long while of writing a fic where both of them try to give the other what they want and then seeing how much it doesn't work out.

I was hoping more people would ask about specific details I included in the characters sheets for the space me and my friend (@kairamuwu ) are working on, so I could draw answers and elaborate on, revealing the universe more, like an ask series.

But I guess I just need to draw the characters more to get the interest in them more hah! The characters sheets took soo lonnngg man, it's a lil disheartening, but I will persevere with creating an interesting series.

Things never go as expected so you just gotta work around it you know? Even if it can be a bummer you just gotta pick yourself up and persevere , I'm not gonna let one mishap discourage me from still telling this story with my friend!! :D
