“He [Napoleon] remained deeply attached to the refusal of the Ancien Régime, to the refusal of national degradation in the face of the Bourbons and aristocratic Europe. It is from this refusal that he will draw the strength to think and set up this powerful resistance movement which will be the return from the island of Elba in March 1815. This is why the forces of the Holy Alliance reject him, ostracizing him from humanity as an ‘anarchist’. He was in his time ‘the revolutionary emperor’ because his conquest was transformative for the social order.”
— Antoine Casanova, Vive la Révolution: 1789-1989: Réflexions autour du bicentenaire

I'm the child of two cops. I come from a family full of agents of the state and every conversation I have about France is becoming unbearable. How can someone say things like that about the French Police? How can someone insist so much? Be so blind? How can anyone say it was Nahel's fault? Even partially, even if he didn't comply, even if the car was turned on, even if he was too young to drive, was he not too young to be shot to death?
I remind you all that the bastard pig who shot him was a veteran of Afghanistan. That he is now a millionaire thanks to far-right fascists (with whom Macron is currently collaborating to fight the protest, because of course he is) celebrating him as a national hero for murdering a French kid.
I was biased for the longest time in favour of the police, thinking they were necessary and good because I didn't want to believe my parents, so much of my family, so many of their friends to be like they were described. I was wrong. And I am deeply sorry and disgusted at myself for ever defending them.
Mort au fascisme. Mort à la police. Vive la révolution et vive la France !

Another day of waiting for the masses to collaborate on overthrowing the 1%. The Earth is burning and the elite only care about the stock market.
Let's see how they like it when climate change prevents them from having things like coffee and chocolate. Then they'll start listening.
In the meantime, take a moment to appreciate Revolutionary Era France.

It occurs to me that I haven't posted anything that would alarm The Establishment recently, and I need to fix that.
Construction can be sabotaged by adding sugar to wet cement. A few pounds will ruin literal tons of it. The French used this to sabotage prison construction.
Practice with a dummy molotov before you try to use the real thing. Fill it with water and see if you get wet. If you have trouble, consider sealing the container and taping a road flare to it to be the fuse.
A molotov should have something in it to thicken the fuel. Equal parts liquid laundry soap and gasoline is a cheap, easy, and effective mix.
Resist the urge to be showy at a protest, rally, or other gathering. Wear clothes without distinguishing features, wear a mask (a bandana will do), cover your hair and any tattoos or identifying marks, and wear sunglasses. This makes identifying you much harder.
Leave the cell phone at home.
Have the number of a lawyer friendly to your cause written on you with permanent marker.
Leave the cell phone the fuck at home.
Don't take pictures. It puts everyone in the background at risk.
Thermite is 3 parts rust to 1 part aluminum powder. Grind the rust up super fine and bake it to make sure it's dry, then mix the ingredients. Use a magnesium strip as a fuse, and run like hell.
There is nothing that thermite will not destroy. It burns a few thousand degrees hotter than actual lava. Respect the thermite. Do not fuck around with the thermite. Do not look directly at the thermite.
