I saw Bart from Viva Pinata on your F/O list - he's my favorite NPC from that game! ^^ How do you two meet in the Viva Pinata universe?

Oh man I absolutely love Viva Piñata, this game was a huge part of my childhood and honestly Bart is one of my favorite NPCs too, he really is still a huge comfort character to me. I still hold out foolish hope that one day we will get a new Viva Piñata game!! ^^

So my self insert and Bart don’t actually meet until later on after they’ve already started to establish their garden/ranch. They vaguely knew about each other from chatter throughout the town and Lottie would mention looking into Bart’s services if she didn’t have the solutions I needed for befriending whatever piñata I had set my eyes on. It wasn’t until an unfortunate combination of Sour Piñatas (Sour Sherbat, Profitamoles & Crowla, I’ve had it happen in a playthrough it was not a fun time) had wrecked havoc on my garden that I actually looked into those services. Even though we hadn’t previously met, or worked together before Bart was more than willing to share his knowledge and help me out with devising a plan on how to deal with the trio of troublesome piñata that were causing me so much grief. After a couple failed attempts of luring the sour piñatas into eating the tinkered items we created, we were eventually able to transform the sours into regular piñatas and befriend them! I even left him name one of the newly transformed piñatas as a thanks for all of his help with the whole thing! After that whole endeavor is when I really started to like Bart and the two of us end up working together on a much more regular basis, he has a tendency to come visit the garden in the evenings whenever he’s finished his work for the day and hangs out with the rest of the piñatas. He honestly has a huge soft spot for the three troublemakers he helped me take care of, and seeing him being so sweet with the piñatas I take care of always makes me so happy!

I am probably just extra stupid, but I have this...theory? au? idea in my mind that Lester and Pester are not the same person.

(I'm just looking too much into it, it's just an au at this point)

Lester was Peter's original name, but his father (the one who worked with Jardiniero) took his name so he could get away with messing around with candy and sour things, like, change his own identity.

Lester started hating his own name because of that, that's why he changed it to Pester. He was also Stardos childhood bestfriend, they met since Pester's father started taking him to the garden so he could help with work.

Bart was also friends with them :)
