Mrigashira seemed to dominate in the archetypal “mean girl” roles. With this being a Mars ruled nakshatra these natives are naturally assertive and provocative. They simply aren’t afraid to say really blunt things, and speak harsh truths. They’re extremely intelligent and have sharp mental dexterity. They identify the intellectual weakness in others and exploit it cleverly. They’re great at being “mean” yet seeming to get away with it most of the time. They’d insult someone right to their face without them even knowing it. They always have witty clapbacks and comebacks, making them comical when delivering insults.

Perhaps most famous “mean girl” character of all time: Regina George played by Mrigashira moon native: Rachel Mcadams is a good case study on Mrigashira’s brand of “mean”. In the movie she is admired and fawned over by many despite being a mean girl. People just accepted it and even were eager to be treated badly by her. This seemed to be the most common planetary type to be a mean girl. Almost every actress considered either had Mars in their 1st, Mars conjunct a luminary, mars ruled nakshatras , or a mars ruled sign (Aries or Scorpio) as their big 3.

Mars dominance being common isn’t surprising considering the nature of mars is blunt, direct, ruthless. Mars represents violence, many mean girl characters usually partaking in “verbal violence” against they’re victims. Mars natives are competitive and feel comfortable in positions of power, control and influence.

Mostly Dhanishta and Shravana nakshatra was a common placement. Saturn is innately controlling, restrictive and judgmental. These mean girls were mean and took pleasure in it. We can’t forget there’s a sadistic nature to Saturnian energy. They were cold and intentional with their meaness and oftentimes didn’t feel remorse of whether or not they hurt someone.

These were mean girls who were extremely beautiful, so even if people didn’t like them, they were still lauded for their beauty. A lot of the characters played were the quintessential rich girl, or girl who has a rich dad etc. So they had socioeconomic power as well.

This one was unique because it was most common as the Atmakaraka placement instead of big 3. Mainly being in the Aquarius rashi. This nakshatra has a lot to do with the act of “punishment” and committing austerities. Natives having this as their AK kept a check and balance book of who wronged them, then exacted revenge on people they felt deserved it.

These were mean girls who’d go blind with rage, blind with power. Growing increasingly more ruthless as time went on. They start off being portrayed as a nice girl, but eventually be revealed as a nice girl but with diabolical motives. Since it is a Jupiter nakshatra, the uncontrolled growth theme so relevant in this nak particularly, was displayed in these natives who had it as their AK. + ARDRA was another key nakshatra, many of the actresses were on the cusp of Mrigashira/Ardra. Sidereal Gemini overall seemed to be prominent. Ardra was often the ostracized mean girl, the girl who was feared more than anything. Didn’t mind playing the villain and getting revenge on people who were once mean to her in the past.

+ REVATI repeated a lot as well. Given the Mercury rulership of this nak, these mean girls were humorous and funny with their insults. Their motive for their meanness was revenge, or insulting who they thought deserved it most. They’re one of the more fearless mean girls , giving the aura of “who gone check me ?” 💁‍♀️ . A lot of their characters were considered “b!tchy” for no good reason. They also a lot of the time acted on their own without a mean girl “posse”.

+ SIDEREAL SAGITTARIUS mainly Uttaraashda and Mula were common placements of mean girls. These were girls who were arrogant and haughty, often depicted as being not too bright. They were bratty and sassy, usually displaying a straightforward attitude of sharpness. These characters were unapologetically mean, not two faced like other mean girl types.

Speculating nakshatras: film observation

I theorize that Isabella Merced might have an Anuradha ascendant rather than Vishaka. Her C-rated birth time places her tropical Scorpio ascendant at 14 degrees, which corresponds to a Vishaka ♎︎ ascendant in Vedic astrology. However, in some of the roles she’s portrayed, I’ve noticed themes that align with Anuradha, which could suggest a potential Anuradha ascendant.

Isabella was cast alongside Anuradha natives Dakota Johnson, Sydney Sweeney, and Celeste O’Connor as the main characters. In the storyline, Dakota Johnson’s character is tasked with protecting the girls, as her prophetic visions show them being killed and attacked by a man who fears they will gain powers as the next Spider-Women, which would lead to his demise. Claire Nakti has mentioned Anuradha’s connection to spiders, and another example is Anuradha native Scarlett Johansson portraying Black Widow in the Marvel universe.

Most recently, Isabella portrayed Kay in Alien: Romulus (spoilers). In the film, her character, pregnant at the time, is severely injured by an alien. She injects black goo into her body, hoping it will help her injuries, but it accelerates her pregnancy, leading her to give birth to an alien hybrid. This theme resonates with Anuradha, which often female natives of this nakshatra portray characters giving birth to beings that are tied to greater evil or abominations. While I don’t think Isabella strongly resembles many Anuradha natives or exhibits many Anuradha features, I do see slight resemblances in her eyes and pout to Anuradha natives like Janina Gavankar and Chanel Iman. She also has doe eyes which is physical trait amongst the deer yoni nakshatras.

I’ve come across pictures of Isabella where she resembles Anuradha ☉ native Britney Spears.

Someone had pointed out, and I’ve observed as well, that Isabella resembles Vanessa Hudgens, who has a Jyestha ☉ (Anuradha Yoni consort). Isabella, on the other hand, has Jyestha Mars. If Isabella has a Scorpio ascendant in Anuradha, her Jyestha Mars would be in the 1st house, influencing her appearance. Currently, her Jyestha Mars is in the 2nd house with a ♎︎ ascendant, which can also affect her facial features, as the 2nd house rules the face. This is just a theory and personal speculation. Isabella could very well have a Vishaka ascendant, and there may be other astrological explanations for this, but these are my observations and opinions.

Jupiter & Rahu Influence Among Popstars

When I look at pop-stars across industries, I have noticed them all often having the same planetary influence showing up one way or another (usually nakshatra's ruling planet but less often, rashi lord as well).

Now, lets look at what or who a "pop-star" is. The simplest definition is that "a pop-star is a highly successful singer of pop music". Some would say that being a pop-star is the pinnacle of fame. They are at the very top of the entertainment industry food chain.

Actors pretend to be other people for a living but a pop-star is one who has to pretend to be an exaggerated version of themselves for a living. Most pop-stars have an alter ego or stage persona that they project, sometimes these alter egos have different names, other times they don't.

If you think about it, being exalted to the status of a superstar, akin to a God or deity and being adored, worshipped and obsessed over by millions of people, for being "you" is a bit bizarre in itself. Actors spend months making movies and playing a character, someone singing and dancing on stage and "being" themselves sounds simpler even though, in truth, it is a much harder job. If your full time job was being an exaggerated version of you, you'd struggle immensely with your sense of self. Most people would have some kind of breakdown, being unable to distinguish between what is "really" them and what belongs to the persona.

I'm by no means suggesting that Jupiter influenced people are exempt from having an identity crisis. In fact, I would say its the opposite. I think due to the expansive and boundless nature of Jupiter, which has a tendency to exaggerate the effects of whatever it touches, most Jupiter natives kind of permanently live in a state of "in-between-ness" , this feeling of being stuck in limbo is reflected in how each Jupiter ruled nakshatra falls between two rashis, one air and another water.

These 2 elements are very different from one another, Air element is typically associated with the intellect and ideas, whereas the Water element is associated with emotions, spirituality, wisdom etc. So, Jupiter, the planet of luck and abundance, the "Guru" (teacher) is one that is "well rounded" in the sense that it is both practical as well as spiritual and emotional. This also insinuates that, in order to amass abundance and be fortunate in life, one has to have a mixture of opposite qualities and be "well rounded". Duality is an innate theme of Jupiter, and whilst many think of duality as having opposite qualities, its wiser to think of Jupiter as the union of opposites. Light and dark, good and evil, feminine and masculine, peace and violence, love and hatred, all co-exist together here. Due to the scholarly "Guru" nature of Jupiter, it becomes the duty of its native to rise above the lower manifestations of these energies and embody the principled nature of it. In this sense, its not just the "meeting" of good and evil but the triumph of good over evil.

I had already explored in a previous post about how having an alter ego/multiple identities is kind of a Jupiter thing. Most Jupiter influenced individuals majorly struggle with their identity simply because they feel like they're "all things" and this sort of commercial marketing of "aesthetics" and "niches" is very limiting. They're all things, all at once. This can be disorienting for others who struggle with their identity for other reasons (Nodals who struggle with over-attachment and detachment, Malefic gworls who don't have very many hobbies/interests/passions to base their personality off of). Its hard to explain what "being everything" is like to people who don't have a sense of self/reality to begin with, or those who have a very narrow or rigid understanding of themselves. We're familiar with Rahu mania but Jupiter mania often flies under the radar because they seem so put together on the outside, unlike Rahuvians who wear their madness on their sleeve.

Most people would have a tough time figuring out how a Jupiter native actually felt or if they were going through something in their personal life because they're usually stoic af and very well kept. Their world could be falling apart but they will never lose their etiquette or their manners. This can lead to scenarios where they're either not given adequate consideration for their suffering because they dont "look/seem" like they're going through it OR people tear them apart for seeming too "cold/nonchalant" even in the face of crisis. People like to see vulnerability because it makes others more humane and relatable and sometimes the stoicism of Jupiter natives can irk others because it makes them seem robotic or beyond human.

How does all of this tie into Jupiter being the most common planetary influence among pop-stars?

I had already mentioned that pop-stars are idolized for simply existing. Having the expansive energy of Jupiter helps one become a vessel for the projections of others. You can be anything or anyone to everyone. I have observed Jupiter influenced individuals code switching irl, in the sense that they have an entirely different personality depending on who they're interacting with and usually have several different friend groups that have nothing remotely in common with each other.

Many anons have mentioned dating Jupiter men who seem very sweet and giving and then being mindblown when they turn out to be insane party animals who smoke and drink till they drop and go batshit insane at the club. They seem too "goody two shoes"-y to be about that life, yet they are.

Being a performer/pop-star seems to suit Jupiter natives because it gives them an outlet to channel their manyyyy sides. Even their alter egos have alter egos and if they had to live normal lives, it would kinda drive them crazy unless they found some phenomenal ways to compartmentalize all that stuff. Not to rely on anecdotal evidence (I'll cite more "celebrity" examples after this) but there's a guy I know whose chart is heavily Jupiter influenced and he is the most responsible family man ever and provides for his whole family but he is also extremely passionate about weed, does not say no to a drink and LOVES to party. He lives in an apartment complex with a lot of people our age and mf is always at someone's house party 😭😭 I am in no way implying that these things CANNOT co-exist, that you can't both be a hardworking family guy who looks after everyone AND drown yourself in booze but typically the kind of person you associate with one kinda lifestyle is not who you associate with the other, if ykwim

Pushkara Navamsa is calculated based on which star and pada a planet is sitting in your birth chart. Planets falling into the Pushkara Navamsa category in the chart, blesses the native with career success, luxurious lifestyle and fame in whatever field they work in. 💅❤

Vishaka

the “forked” nakshatra is essentially treated like schrodinger's babygirl at times by the universe, haha. They often have gaps in their lives with no opportunities, but then all of these offers spring up at the same time.

The issue Vishakas face is that unlike placements like the ashadas or ardra (who have to muster the discipline and self-love to stick to their path in life without burning out of it), a Vishakas obsessiveness over a singular passion is best avoided for their own well-being (yeah sure it begets wonderful beautiful things but I'm of the opinion that it's not worth it).

Due to this, these placement thrive when they have room for choice in their daily movements. I highly recommend freelancing, contracting, or having "side gigs" for Vishakas! I also think Vishakas should have multiple friend groups with different kinds of vibes/energies.

Vishakha, the star of purpose thus of dedication.

Vishaka translated from sanskrit means "the poison vessel", "forked" or "two-branched". Vishakha is "the power to achieve many fruits in life" this nakshatra is like pushya directed towards agriculture but I wanted to describe it's relation with fire in this moodboard.

The main deities are Indra and Agni who associate Vishakha with fire (Agni) and dedication and passion (Indra), Vishakha embodies the fire of dedication, it represents fixation. Indra is the one who create thunderbolt and thunderbolt create fire. The "poison vessel" refers also to the ability of fire to destroy indiscrimately and the "forked" refers to the duality of this nakshatra which is ruled by two deities also lies between two rashies: libra and scorpio, the separation of two individuals (I will elaborate on that later)

Devotion is also a proeminent theme of Vishakha: the burning passion that pushes an individual towards the achievement of his goal, not only that but also the burning passion between two individuals.

Vishakha is associated with Hestia, the goddess of the olympian fire who was charged by Zeus (thunder god and her boss) to keep the fire alive.

Being Scorpionic (Dark Feminine) in an Abrahamic World: Natal Chart of Marina Abramović

I’ve been learning more about Marina and how she’s accused of being a Satanic and demonic artist, so I expected her having Jyestha or Scorpio and its her lagnesha! and she has Scorpio stellium. 

Jyestha natives, especially women, can be subject to being called demonic or satanic for their self-expression, such as Vampira. 

The first thing I noticed is Marina has two tight conjunctions: 1) Sun Mars Ketu in 8th and 2) Jupiter, VenusR, MercuryR in the 7th.

Marina’s entire public career has been colored by 8th house themes: accusations of witchcraft and evildoing, she has darker features and wears black clothing, the extreme nature of her performances, she openly discusses her abortions (which I believe is an 8th house theme), she is inspired by Eastern spirituality, and discusses art as a ritual.

She has Ketu in this nak in her D60 chart as well. In fact, she was very Scorpio in her last life as well. Perhaps this is why she’s very comfortable in her dark feminine energy.

Pluto in Ashlesha (4th)  With this and Saturn in her 4th, Marina learned hard lessons around femininity and was deeply transformed by her upbringing to transform the feminine consciousness. Ashlesha is a deeply embodied Nak and Marina was a trendsetter in making the art world accept performance art as an art form.

Marina is very perfectionist and dedicated to her art, and the mystical/devotional elements of Hasta may suggest her inspiration comes from divine sources.

For much of her career Marina was in her Saturn Mahadasha, and Saturn rules outsiders and outcasts.
