You’re prob really sought after also except you’re a bit more outgoing than he is so you’ll be seen amongst larger crowds which can raise his judgement. It’s not that he doesn’t trust YOU, but he doesn’t trust the company you keep sometimes.. and he may be right. I see this guy being very intuitive, but sometimes for a man it’s hard to decipher intuition if they’re not actively doing shadow work or healing. They’ll just chalk it up to their being too emotional. Xoxo

i recently had my first tarot reading from kat at neptune and wine, and wanted to write a little review as i took notes during the reading - yes, i am a virgo rising, why do you ask? kat is currently taking clients for tarot and oracle card readings, so drop her a message via @neptuneandwine if you're interested! read on for my review :-)

technical stuff first: we did the reading through a voice call, and kat was flexible with time slots to suit my schedule. she used the rider-waite (the OG) tarot deck for the reading, and on one question she used the 'momento mori' deck from black and the moon for clarification cards. i had prepared three questions beforehand and asked an extra question afterwards. little disclaimer, we are good friends IRL, but this is just how i felt about the reading, trying to be as unbiased as possible!

i asked questions related to my studies, career path and close relationships, and i felt like i got some real insight. something that came up that i found really interesting was, as kat put it, 'your pain is your strength'. this was when looking at how my skill set related to my studies and work. kat has a real way with words and an ability to translate complicated card pairings into simple terms, and she utilised clarification cards to truly understand the full picture. she took the time and care to make sure i understood the reading and was happy to proceed to the next question, and delivered the reading with a natural, conversational flow; it didn't feel formal or intimidating in any way, which i have found to sometimes be the case for other readings i've had before. i've been studying tarot casually for a while, but it's not something that is clicking naturally for me, the way astrology does. kat actually explained the astrological parallels with the cards to me, which i found really useful in terms of understanding what the cards themselves stand for, outside of the interpretation.

i left the reading feeling refreshed and like i had gained new insight into old issues. that fresh perspective is really helpful for me personally, as it allows me to regroup and come back with more positive energy. i was thinking about the reading for quite some time afterwards, not because i had unanswered questions but because it was enlightening and motivating, and i wanted to reflect on the answers i received. i have found them really helpful, and have been trying to implement the advice in my daily life too; looking at ways i can expand my skill set to improve my chances at moving into a more satisfying career path, for example, and taking a big leap of faith with a topic for a uni assignment (which, so far, is paying off).

all in all, i can highly recommend kat as a reader; she has a true understanding of tarot, and is able to convey their messages in a thoughtful, evocative, but not overbearing manner. she is also a talented astrologer in her own right, but prefers to focus more on tarot and oracle cards right now. thank you kat, for the wonderful reading <3

3. Effect on Me (Strength - Leo): The Strength card in my 11th house, along with my Leo stellium (Sun, Mercury, and Mars), empowers me during Virgo season. I'm exuding confidence, courage, and charisma within my social groups. This strength enables me to shine as a leader and a beacon of positivity. 🦁💪💫
