“What are you doing!? Where are you taking me!? Let me go!” Sakura struggled fiercely, fear gripping her heart. She'd been kidnapped in the middle of the street, a black cloth bag placed over her head, and thrown into the back of a van. Her hands were tied, and now she was being dragged against her will into a tunnel that seemed to have no way out.

“HEY, I'M TALKING TO YOU! WHERE ARE YOU TAKING ME?!”

“Shut up, bitch! You'll find out soon enough.”

“Yeah, the Boss can't wait to see you,” his partner said mockingly.

Sakura would have stumbled to her feet if her captors hadn't held her firmly. Now she was really worried... She wasn't a bad person, she hadn't scammed anyone, she didn't owe any money, so who was crazy enough to... No... no, it wasn’t possible. Panic rose within her, apprehension too. She was screwed. No one would ever find her body.

Just as she was on the verge of hyperventilating, she was roughly pushed into another room. The cloth bag was yanked off her head, and it took her a few seconds to readjust to the light. A quick glance around informed her that she was in what looked like an office. A large, spacious room.

The charcoal-gray walls were adorned with paintings all stemming from the same artistic movement, but some, Sakura noticed, were a much more contemporary version of traditional Ukiyo-e from the Heian, Edo and Meiji eras. She knew this because she could recognize Haruyo Morita's work when she saw it. She reluctantly admits that there is a touch of elegance in this office. In the center, a solid wood desk, adorned with ancient symbols, dominated the room. Sakura apprehensively examined the intricate details of the decor, feeling fear increase as she realized the gravity of her situation.

“Good evening, Miss Haruno.”

Her body froze. No. It couldn't be. It couldn't be him. She knew that voice, hated that voice full of arrogance and disdain. She hated his condescending, self-assured tone. She hated the way he dominated a room with his mere presence. That intimidating aura he had. Sakura was fucked. He had her.

“I'm sure you have some idea why you're here. I think it's time we had a little chat.”

Uchiha Madara had her.

✧ “I hate you,” he stood there, his expression unwavering as your voice seethed with anger. Your voice could cut through thick glass as you shouted at him, but he felt nothing whatsoever. Even as your eyes bore into him, filled with a hatred so intense it could burn a hole through his soul, it wasn’t directed towards him. No, not ever. Yet despite the venom in your words, he didn’t flinch. Instead he listened intently, his expression indifferent. “That’s okay,” he responded, his voice devoid of any apparent emotion. In any other scenario, he would’ve crumpled under the weight of your vitriol, weeping and pleading for an explanation as to why you might hate him. But not now, because he already knew why.

✧ He knew how you mourned him for years, believing him dead and gone, only to find out the hard way the reality. He knew you visited his grave, and wished that you were in his position. He knew that your trust—your perspective of reality had been shattered the very moment his mask fell from his face. With a heavy heart, he continued “I would too,” his gaze never left yours, watching as tears streamed down your reddened cheeks. It had been years since he’d seen you this close, yet you looked young and pretty. The prettiest he’s ever seen you, even with tears glistening on your pretty face.

✧ “I hate you so much,” your voice cracked with pain and resentment as you spoke to him. Your Obito. The revelation that he was still alive, but causing so much pain and suffering shattered your world, leaving you emotionally fractured. “Why? Why do all of this? Why hurt so many?” You ask, searching his face for remorse but finding none, “Because this world is broken,” he answers steadily, his voice awfully gentle to you. “You have nothing in this reality,” his arms open, showing you the distress and chaos that is currently occurring around you. He wanted you to see how your comrades laid lifeless—to make you understand that you lost your friends, your family, your ‘happy ending’. “ Let this happen, and you will be forever happy,” he pauses briefly, searching for the right words to say. He chose his words carefully, locking eyes with you, “With me. With a better version of me. One that will keep you happy for the rest of your life,” Despite your heart-wrenching cries, he did nothing to stop this war. As you wept before him, he knew your pain would be temporary. He knew that once his plan took action—the infinite Tsukuyomi—you would find happiness. Even if you hate him now, he reassured himself, you wouldn’t think the same after his plan was completed.

Obito Uchiha (Shinobi)

✧ Obito, a strong and beloved jonin from the Leaf village, stood there, his chest tightening at the words that just came out of your mouth. His expression shifted as his mind struggled to comprehend what you had said. Suddenly, without a second thought, his words slipped through his lips as he tried to make sense of what you told him, “What… did you say?” he asked carefully, his eyes frantically darting over your face as if searching for an answer. You met his gaze, repeating your words with unwavering conviction, “I said, I hate you,”

✧ As you repeat yourself, Obito’s heart sank to the bottom of his stomach, his throat constricting as it became harder to breathe. He could handle any other response, any other thing you could have said, but hearing your harsh words was almost too much for him. “Why? What did I do? I don’t understand,” he manages to ask in desperation, trying his best to move closer to you. His heart clenched and turned inside his chest, and he boiled with fear. He loves you! He loves you to the moon and back! Why would you say that you hate him when he eats, sleeps, and breathes for you? You were his everything, so how could you hate him when he loved you so dearly?

✧ “Because you never notice how much I try for you. You’re always looking for Rin’s approval, and what about me? I’m left in the dark with nothing. I’m done with you. I’m done with trying to make you realize I’ve been in love with you for years,” you pour your heart out to him, desperate and hurt, and that’s when he realizes what this was about. Though his heart slightly fluttered at your revelation, he still felt awful for the way you were feeling all this time. The tingling sensation in the back of his mind kept bothering him as he examined every inch of your expression. “That’s… why?” He asks with a drop of his shoulder, sighing in pure relief at your confession, which only fueled the burning anger inside you. “I thought it was for something else I might’ve done… (Y/N), I don’t know if you’ve ever noticed, but I’m in love with you,” his confession caught you in surprise, his voice revealing his true feelings with no hesitation. What once was nervousness and anxiety had now been replaced with determination as he yearned to seek for a solution. It was true, he was deeply in love with you, but people still thought he had something for Rin when he didn’t. However, he did hide the fact that he liked you out of fear of another rejection. With Rin, he handled it well, but with you? He wouldn’t be able to take it. “I’m sorry if I ever made you feel horrible. I’m sorry I never noticed, and I’m sorry I hid it from you for so long. I love you, over anything there is in this world. The only thing I want is you, always and forever you,”

Madara Uchiha

✧ “I hate you,” your words felt like a slap to the face, making Madara turn around to face you swiftly. Although his face was deemed expressionless, his body tensed and tightened the more he processed your words. He had obviously been taken aback by your audacity to say such things, but he tried his best to hide his discomfort. With arms crossed over his chest, he scoffed and parted his lips, ready to give you a piece of his mind. “Get over it, woman,” he snarls at you with authority, and slight annoyance. You, his wife, should never say that to him. He’s given you everything; a home, a family, and more importantly, love. “You are acting like a child over something that should have never pestered you in the first place,” although your words had not hit him hard when you first spat them, they started to annoy him the more they set in, “If you hate me, why even decide to say yes when I proposed? If you are going to bother me with such nonsense, I will not bother with you,”

✧ His words were meant to hurt you as much as you hurt him, and when he notices the pain in your eyes, he’s satisfied… until he’s not. Until that annoying tingling feeling lingers under his skin as he watches your eyes brim with tears. The tingling feeling that pulled on the tendons of his heart any time you cried was crawling under every inch of his body. “Oh please, do not start with the tears,” he groaned in annoyance, but the salty tears were already streaming down your puffy cheeks. Despite this, he didn’t move an inch to comfort you, but watched you as you cried for a couple of minutes until he released an exasperated sigh. “Why? Why do you care so much for those people when all they have done is hurt you?” He asks with irritation, referring to your clan members who’ve hurt you in the past. He has said something out of line, and you argued with him about it, which ended you two up here.

✧ “Because we should be better people than them. Violence should never be the answer,” you sniffle with clenched fist, “But that is something you seem to never stop thinking about,” you admit, trying to hold in your tears. You didn’t want to keep crying like this in front of him. You wanted to be strong, “And if you think I am such a burden, then why keep this ring on my finger—,” you were surprised when his fingers wrap around your wrist to stop you from taking off the ring he had gifted you the night he proposed, “Because I know who I married. The same nagging woman I am with now, is the same nagging woman I fell in love with. If I had any regrets of marrying you, you would be back in your clan,” he scoffs and pulls your head to his chest with an annoyed expression “I love you, you stupid woman,” to any other person, your relationship might’ve seemed strange, but to you, this moment showed you just how much he truly loved you. Even if he has weird ways of showing it.

Shisui Uchiha

✧ Wait, he didn’t quite hear you well. Wait, what did you say? He turned towards you with a raised brow, his mouth slightly parted as he tried to figure out if you had said what he thought you said. Noticing his lost expression, you had no choice but to repeat yourself, much to your annoyance “I hate you,” this time, he did hear you. Loud and clear. To him, it felt like he took hours to respond to you, but in reality, his answer left his mouth almost immediately, “No you don’t,” It wasn’t meant to be cocky, it just sounded like it was. At least, to you it sounded cocky, and it made you even angrier with him. It annoyed you that he never took you seriously, “Oh, so now you think you know how I feel, do you?” you spat at him, hands clenching into tight fists as your eyes locked intensely, “You never care about anything! You come home and sleep and don’t even have time for me. I know you have a hard job, and I don’t expect you to be there at my beck and call, but at least asking me how I am would be enough,” you stressed, waving your arms frantically around you in desperation. You had been like this all week, stressed and unable to talk to anyone, because the only person you could ever rant and banter about things that bothered you in life was barely there for you, and when he was, it was like he wasn’t! He would barely listen to you anymore, and would expect you to listen to him. And you did, you always did. But you wanted something in return, and that was a sliver of his attention.

✧ “You're telling me you hate me over something so little?” he asks with furrowed brows, making you even more annoyed, “Over something so little?” You repeated through gritted teeth. His face, for once, contorted into one of annoyance, something you had never seen on him before, “Yes! Little! Because you know how my line of work is! You know that I barely have time to sleep, let alone waste my time with useless banter!” You were left speechless, standing in front of him with hurt eyes. “Yeah, useless. You’re right. Because my feelings don’t matter,” you scoff, “That’s not what I—” you interrupt him by turning away, tears forming in the corner of your eyes as realization finally hits him. You weren’t trying to waste his time, you just wanted to spend time with him. He had been so lost in his work, so busy caring for himself that he completely neglected you.

✧ “Oh darling,” he takes your hand again, a frown painting his face, “I’m sorry, okay? I didn’t mean any of the things I said. I’m just stressed out. Everything's happening so fast, and the clan isn’t helping at all.” he sighs and pulls you in towards him, engulfing you in his tight embrace, yet you didn’t say anything, “I know I’ve been neglecting you, and you deserve better. Please, let me make it up to you,” he whispers into you hair as he lowers down to kiss your head, “I couldn’t live with myself if I didn’t have you by my side,”

Itachi Uchiha

✧ “I hate you,” you mumble under your breath as you look at your lover. No, he wasn’t your lover anymore. He had left the village years ago, leaving you behind with a broken heart and a broken image of him. He was a monster who murdered his entire clan, and even though he had left years ago, he still looked the same as when he was still in the village, with only one difference. Those eyes. Those red eyes that stared deep into your soul. They terrified you. The eyes that you once loved and cared about so much looked down at you with no emotion. They were empty. They were dark. They were hurt. “I hate you, for everything that you did,” you pushed him, backing away from him with angry eyes. His cloak told you everything you needed to know. He was part of the Akatsuki, he was the enemy now. He was a traitor, and although your words were meant to hurt him, he closed his eyes and nodded, understanding your hatred towards him. “I understand,” he says in such a soft voice. His voice that you missed so much.

✧ You didn’t understand why he came to visit you. Why come in the middle of the night to see you? Why? Why waste his breath coming back to see you when he knew you wanted nothing to do with him? Because this would be his final goodbye. There were only a handful of people Itachi cared for—Two, to be exact. His brother, and the love of his life. He knew that soon he’d perish, and this was the final time he would ever see you again. Not that it mattered. He tried not to think about it, thinking it would make things worse. It would be better if he never came to see you, but his heart got the best of him, and so he sat there at your window, looking at you for one final time.

✧ “You don’t,” you clench your fist, hurt by his mere presence, “I don’t want anything to do with you, and I will report you to the higher ups. Unless you came here to kill me, which I don’t doubt,” you were defenseless, but you wouldn’t go out without a fight. Never. You would fight until the very end, but soon you realized he wasn’t there to kill you. “I have no need for that,” he closes his eyes and takes a deep breath, “I came by my own selfishness. I don’t expect you to understand, and I accept your hatred, which I deserve,” he looks at you, red eyes burning into yours, “I simply wanted to see you for a final time,” he smiles and reaches out for you, pushing your hair out of your face, “My love,” and with that, your vision goes black as your consciousness slips away from you. You would wake up the next day tucked into your bed with a necklace tucked tightly in your hand.

Sasuke Uchiha

✧ Words never hurt this Uchiha, he was used to every awful thing anyone could throw at him. He cared too little about anything and everything, and that's what you hated the most about him. He barely cared about anything you did or said, at all times. He didn’t care how you looked because he never complimented you, he didn’t care how you acted because he barely spoke to you. You felt like you were in a relationship with a ghost, in fact, the comparison was not even close, because dating a ghost would be ten times better than this. And with every passing day of being emotionally neglected by your partner, today was no different. He was back in the village, and instead of coming to you first—to his home—he decided it was better to meet with Naruto and Sakura over seeing his wife who waited patiently everyday for him. You questioned if the ring on your finger meant anything to him at all at that moment. Despite this,

✧ When he got home, you were so happy, yet he showed no sign of interest in anything you did for him. You cooked and he ate, saying nothing about the taste of your new recipe. In fact, he seemed like he didn’t notice that you had learnt to cook a new dish just for him. Even so, you shrugged his annoying attitude off and asked about his day instead. Your question seemed to annoy the tired man as he became uninterested in mid conversation. When you asked him what was wrong, he shrugged you off. You kept questioning him until he snapped at you, telling you how you were annoying him with all your worries. This had been the final straw. You always gave everything in the relationship. You understood he wasn’t the best at showing his emotions, but it didn’t mean he could act like he didn’t care about you. Like you were nothing. The argument got heated and it ended up with you opening your mouth without thinking. “I hate you!” After your words fell out of your mouth, the room fell silent. He who had been looking away from you, had now turned his full attention towards you, “You don’t mean that, stop being dramatic,” the sight of him rolling his eyes hurt you more than it ever did. “You don’t care about anything, Sasuke. I do everything to try and please you. I could even say I live for you, but it’s never enough! You don’t take a sliver of your time to appreciate me. You think I have to be there for you whenever you need me, but can just leave whenever you want!” you yell, hitting the wall in frustration.

✧ “You don’t care about me! You don't love me anymore!” you were in a current state of pure anger, letting out everything you ever wanted to say to him. This makes him stand up and walk towards you, taking your wrist in his hand. You look up at him, tears of frustration prickling in the corner of your eyes. “If I didn’t love you, I wouldn’t have married you. You mean a lot more to me than you think. I… I’m sorry if I don’t show it,” he sighs, “I love your cooking, I love your stories—I love hearing about everything that happened throughout your day. You’re the only thing I can think about when I’m away,” he lets go of your wrist and places a hand on your cheek, “Don’t hate me, because you’re the only important thing in my life. You’re my wife, and I…” he stops himself, trying to build the courage to complete his sentence. A small blush decorates his cheeks before he sighs, “I care for you a lot,” your husband wasn’t perfect, but you still loved him a lot, and you knew he loved you too.

He’s so loved. So adored. Everyone sees him as the gentle giant—the big, bashful sweetheart who fumbles over his words and wouldn’t hurt a fly. Women coo over his shyness, and men clap him on the back like he’s some harmless golden retriever.

Because right now, he's not shy at all. Not fumbling, not stammering, not blushing. No, he’s laughing, openly and unashamed, as he forces your legs apart, as he fucks into you so deep you can barely breathe.

He’s so much bigger, so much stronger, and he loves it—loves how your hands are too small to push him away, how your weak little legs tremble every time he buries himself to the hilt.

"Fuckin’ useless," he chuckles, grabbing your wrists in one hand and pinning them above your head. "S’posed to be teaching me, right? Thought I was the innocent one. That’s what everyone thinks, yeah?" He grins against your ear, his breath hot and full of amusement. "But you know the truth now, don't you?"

His hips snap forward, wrenching a sob from your throat. He coos at you like you're pathetic, like you're some weak little thing under him. Because you are. Compared to him, you're nothing.

“Shit, you’re tight—mm, but that’s ‘cause you’re just a stupid little thing, huh? A dumb, tiny hole for me to fuck. Bet you’re real mad about that.” He lets out a low, satisfied groan, rolling his hips deeper, making sure you feel every inch of him stretching you open. "Too bad. You’re gonna take it. No matter how much you cry, no matter how much you beg."

You can’t speak. Can’t think. The pain is sharp, unbearable, but that only makes him grin wider, makes him fuck you harder. He loves it—loves the way you claw at his shoulders, the way you shake and cry beneath him.

And he’s just getting started.

World's worst, most messy naruto time travel au EVER. Where a bunch of people from slightly different dimensions try to time travel to fix their bad endings.

But they all got dumped into their alternate bodies of the past of another slightly different dimension. And they all keep tripping over eachother.

So like. You have Sakura (from the dimension where there was no Kaguya/black zetsu, and Madara + Obito are the final villains)

Tripping over ANBU Sasuke (from a no Uchiha massacre/less bad Uchiha massacre universe where he never left the village and is filled to the brim with the will of fire)

Running into Naruto (from one of those evil konoha universes where the abuse aimed towards him was 100 times worse) who is absoloutley tweaking out in the corner, unsure and unable to comprehend what is (from his perspective) such a good world

Then theyre getting fucking tackled by Obito (from a roll swap dimension where he was team 7's sensei and Kakashi took his place in Akatsuki)

Meanwhile Kakashi from the 'team ro defects from Konoha' au is suddenly a jonin again and debating the merits of just sabotaging Konoha from the inside out

Then you also have Kurama, the only one of them to have gotten their own own new body instead of being dumped into the body of their alt version there (coming from a canon-similar world where Naruto sacrifices himself to give Kurama a body and send him back in time, a-la on the other side, by WideEyedDemon)

While in the distance, Gaara (from a dimension where Suna won the fight against Konoha and team 7 went on the run after the leaf was destroyed) tries to very hard to sabotage the attack he believes will prevail, in order to fulfill his promise to team 7 from that other universe bc they got to be friends

But he's being blocked around every corner by Kankuro and Temari, who came back together from a universe where Gaara was straight up an irredeemable monster who destroyed all of Suna

But also fucking semi-canon accurate housewife Orochimaru from Boruto is like. Around. Just absoloutley fucking it up in his milf era, giving no shits whatsoever. The alien tree people or whatever the hell is going on in boruto ate his world so he has his eyes on the sky.

^ so like. All of that and it just keeps going. U can throw in whoever from wherever, these are just starting points

(The only rule is Jiriya and Tsunade aren't time travelers bc I want them to see milf Orochimaru and scream in terror)

And the whole thing is that very few of them actually share the same bad end, and it's very unclear what the true bad ending of their current world is— bc to be clear, the dimension they ended up does not line up 100% with any one of the newcomers.

(Their current dimension is actually just canon, to be clear. Or at least incredibly canon-ish)

So they're just fucking tripping over eachother right and left, trying to prevent things that may or may not happen (bc some of their bad ends ARE still possible!!)

The inter character relationships would go so insane too. Bc like all of team 7 has been shaken to its core, pretty much.

Naruto wants to burn Konoha to the ground and Sasuke thinks it is hashtag worth fighting for.

Sakura is dealing from the whiplash of ehats basically a sasuke/naruto roleswap, and also thinks Obito is the irredeemable root of all evil.

Imagine Shisui having beef with his kid self (somehow time travelled) cause his kid self is taking all the attention.

SHISUI IS DYING

The moment the rift in time had swallowed him up, nine-year-old Shisui barely had time to yelp before he was tumbling forward—head over heels, arms flailing—until he landed hard on the wooden floor of a house he did not recognize.

His head spun.

–What the—?– he started, only to freeze when a shadow loomed over him.

He blinked up, eyes widening at the sight of a woman staring down at him with a mixture of shock and—wait, was that adoration?

–Oh. My. God.– (Y/N) breathed.

And before little Shisui could react, he was scooped up, lifted into warm arms that immediately wrapped around him like the safest cocoon in the world.

–You're so cute!– she gushed, hugging him close. –Oh my god, you're so small, look at you!–

Little Shisui, who had expected something way more dramatic—maybe a villain, a battle, something—just blinked, entirely lost.

–Um… thanks?

But (Y/N) was melting. His chubby cheeks, his big, round eyes, his little confused frown—he was adorable.

–Look at your little hands! Look at your little face! You're just a baby!– she cried, cupping his cheeks with both hands.

Little Shisui turned red, flustered and squirming. –I’m not a baby! I’m nine!–

–Even worse! You're a tiny, precious boy! Oh, come here!– She squeezed him tighter, rubbing his back, swaying slightly in delight.

And that was when the door slid open.

–What the hell is going on?

(Y/N) turned—and there, standing in the doorway, was another Shisui.

But this one was taller.

Stronger.

Older.

And the expression on his face was downright murderous.

(Y/N) beamed. –Shisui! Look! It's you! But tiny!–

Adult Shisui's eye twitched.

He took in the scene—(Y/N) cuddling his younger self, her entire focus on him, her arms cradling him like he was the most precious thing in existence—and something deep inside him snapped.

–Alright, put him down. And you, go back where you came from.

-I don't even-!- Young Shisui couldn't finish his phrase, asphyxiated by her hugh.

(Y/N) gasped, horrified. –I will not! Look at him! He’s a baby! He needs love!–

Little Shisui, entirely overwhelmed by everything happening, blinked between the two of them. –Wait, wait, wait. What do you mean "it's you"?! Who are you?!–

Adult Shisui ran a hand down his face, exhaling slowly. –I’m you. You’re me. Time travel nonsense. Whatever. More importantly— his eyes narrowed at (Y/N), –why are you still holding him?–

(Y/N) rolled her eyes. –Because he's adorable! Obviously!–

Shisui clenched his jaw. –So what? I’m not adorable?–

(Y/N) grinned. –Oh, yeah, but in a different way.–

That was not the answer he wanted.

Little Shisui, still utterly confused, frowned. –Wait, does that mean you two are… married?–

Adult Shisui went still.

(Y/N) blinked.

And then—

–MARRIED?!– Shisui choked, –Whoa, slow down, kid!–

Little Shisui huffed. –Well, she’s holding me like my mom used to, so I just thought—!–

(Y/N) gasped, clutching him closer. –I’m your favorite now, aren’t I?–

The Apothecary Diaries Episode 26 Review - Caravan Conspiracy

Someone needs to call an exorcist because someone is always wanting to poison another in this gosh darn palace. However, that’s how it is in a palace where there are multiple consorts. Political power and reputation are things that are highly sought after.

I also like the world building aspect of this episode. World building has always been sprinkled here and there with how some consorts are from foreign land. This episode has it where there is an annual caravan that sell products from different lands. It’s basically the palace’s exposure to foreign goods. It also makes me wonder if Maomao and co will be able to see the world outside of wherever they are. It’d be interesting to see if Maomao can solve mysteries of other world’s crimes.

I like that the mysteries of the upcoming case is building up in this episode where Maomao buys ingredients but also stuff like jasmine tea. I always like learning new components of plants that I never even knew about. Maomao’s dedication to her craft is always so funny because she thinks of almost everything to be ingredients. I also like how blunt she can be when listing the benefits and detriments of jasmine tea. She even had to tell Jinshi that it can help with infertility and forgot that he was a eunuch. Her dedication to her craft is also shown when she starts sniffing everyone and everything like Tanjiro from Demon Slayer.

Two new characters are introduced. First is the girl from the previous episode who helped Maomao catch the cat. Her name is Shisui and she likes bugs. Her hair and eye color still pegs the question if she is Loulan. In this episode, it was stated that Loulan has a lot of maids, so it would make sense if she were to use one as a body double in order to disguise herself as Shisui and roam about the palace. What’s her purpose? I have no idea. Though, I do like the sudden friendship she and Maomao develop. While the relationship between Maomao and Xiaolan is cute, I’d like to see a friendship between these two weird girls.

The second new character is Lihua’s attendant Shin. Has she always been her attendant because I clearly did not see her in the first season during the time Maomao had to stay in the Crystal Pavilion? However, I know for a fact that she’s definitely involved with this new poisoning incident. Whenever Lihua could be involved with something, the culprit does seem to be someone around her, making her the obvious villain. I wonder what her purpose could be because it seems like Lihua is also pregnant and if the Crystal Pavilion keeps using those particular scents, Lihua will get a miscarriage.

I’m worried about Gyokuyou because the poisoning is definitely directed towards her as she’s pregnant. She always seems to be a target in these cases. Let’s just hope nothing bad happens next episode. Who’s the culprit and what’s their motivation? Let me know your thoughts on this episode!

I wanted to ask your opinion/thoughts on any Hanabi x Canon ships you like? She kinda has an odd age gap with the main cast. 5 years isn’t that bad but it kinda depends on what ages they meet at (preferably when she is 20+). The obvious answer might be konohamaru or someone on his team but none of those really do anything for me.

Ngl Hanabi x canon ships would be limited if a little age gap and shared adolescence is weird for you because, like you said, the vast majority of canon characters are older than her and team Ebisu + she’s the next Hyuga clan head to be, no? Kinda hard to find someone that’s outside of konoha with a title like that.

Hanabi x toneri - I’ve lost you at this point, but here me out. What IF he hadn’t done what he did in the last and they just met. Teaching your blind space bf how to people could have been sweet and also hilarious if he just flew away when Hiashi caught him visiting. Also the child they could have you be a force of nature

I know Itachi is your number one, but in what order do you like the other uchihas? Im guessing sasuke is 2. Who is 3rd, 4th, 5th place etc?

Actually, I love both Sasuke and Itachi equally, but in a different way. Sasuke is like my son and Itachi is.. well *blushes*

The reason I write more about Itachi is because I don't see genuine love for him in the fandom. It's the extremities of either the dudebros (who also want to portray him as a flawless, did nothing wrong kind of character) or the haters who lie on the complete opposite side of the spectrum, deliberately ignoring all the good. Even he has some pick me fans, who are his haters in disguise, I guess.

He's a wonderful character who is heavily misunderstood. I love to write about him more than the powerscaling stuff and the regular takes you see on him about him being evil, him being a villain from the start, or him being an irredeemable evil and all the shitty opinions. Since I don't like replying with the negative opinions on other people's posts (or taking screenshots of their posts to secretly harass and badmouth them), I tend to write the analysis on him in my own space. Most of the things I write I haven't seen being said about him, so I feel he needs this positivity terribly.

He's tragic, he's sad, he's powerful, he's miserable, he made mistakes, he was hurt, he hurt, he had regrets. And most people reduce him to what aligns with their moral compass. I love to explore his multifaceted character without the finger-pointing or blaming other characters, because he deserves it.

When I joined Tumblr, I was a bit more pro Sasuke and pro Uchiha, but their fans in my posts back then ended up talking a lot of shit about Itachi, which made me focus a lot more on Itachi. Though I'm not going to let fandom activists dictate and change my love for Sasuke, so my interaction with most of his fans is nil. That doesn't mean I don't love him. My fics are a proof of how much I love him.

Anyway, this isn't what you asked. I love both Itachi and Sasuke. The second would be Shisui. The third would be Izumi (even though she's a "filler" character).

I like Madara too. He's a cool villain. But I'm not all that emotionally invested in him, so I don't talk about him that much. I stopped caring about the story after Itachi's death and watched the rest of the episodes of war arc for Sasuke. So, I only remember what happened to him, not Madara. And I don't care about the ship (HashiMada), so there's less interest for me there.

I like Fugaku as well. But I'm most invested in Itachi and Sasuke, and Itachi needs positivity, and I'm forming an Itachi cult, so let's go.

Something something Seto being Mokuba’s parent since he was ten and refusing to be adopted without his baby brother and taking the brunt of Gozuboro’s abuse and even once he’s rich and powerful showing that he couldn’t care less about most people but would not hesitate for a single second to drop everything, go to whatever corner of the world, give up his life, kill whomever, commit unspeakable crimes, spit on his pride and beg for help, anything for his baby brother.

Something something Itachi irredeemably messed up in the head from Anbu and Danzo and Shisui willing to commit the worst crime be a terrorist hurt and kill whomever as long as one of those people was never his brother. Itachi whose single point of blindness, his single manipulable point being Sasuke, Itachi who would give it all up again and again, willing to die the worst of villains, willing to let thousands spit on his grave so he could save Sasuke once, Itachi who orchestrated his life to die at his hands.

Idk something about big brothers whose single blind spot and single weakness is their younger brother, who know that fact and never once begrudge it, who will let go of their intelligence their common sense their pride everything for this person, whom they can close their eyes and see as the little kid who used to run up into their arms and see the safest of places.

Rin was really difficult to write - I think I need to write out a short story featuring her as a kid. Having a mental idea of herself when she was good is an important anchor to her life when she's bad. She has utter conviction in her team and her village, and boundless kindness for everybody around her. I think this grows warped into utter conviction in herself, and boundless kindness for those who she decides deserves it. I think she can be really interesting and unique as a villain, and I really hope to do more with her. Her convictions, ideals, goals, and dreams are very important to her - human life is not. She was idly killing and reviving Shisui for no reason at all.

Very accurate summary of Kakashi, haha. He's permanently in his Hound era and I'd say his depression is drowning him. He has no interest in improving his or anybody else's lives. The only things he still finds important are loyalty and love, but in many ways he's only loyal to the ghosts of two dead children. In Kakashi typical manner, he'd rather hate himself than help anybody.

It's almost strange - while writing it, I was thinking of him as the member of the Akatsuki with the clearest moral compass (yes, including Yahiko). But while writing I found myself genuinely asking myself the same question he was asking himself. I don't think I decided on a single clear answer. I think Rin has greater capacity for genuine goodness, while Kakashi is more likely to turn away from the Akatsuki without Naruto intervention.

Yahiko is a beautiful beam of sunshine who deserves his god complex and adoration of the masses. He's my little cutie-pie and all of his atrocities are for a good cause. Unproblematic king, the Akatsuki ARE a peace organization, never let Kakashi tell you anythhing different!

Regardless, the love that Rin and Kakashi have for Obito is very real. They're still very devoted to him. Or...like, the concept/memory/idea of him...same thing...right...

I definitely want to write more. Something weird that keeps tripping me up is the question, 'What's more interesting: outside POV of Tobi or inside POV?'. Seems like a simple question but it's actually being a big roadblock for a lot of decisions. I haven't done any writing in a long time for way too many reasons, but I have a miraculously clear weekend so I hope I'll be able to finally get something written.

Missed Opportunities: Naruto #2

Sasuke should not have been the last Uchiha! And I am not counting our dear villains, because by the end of the story, they have all died.

For as long as I can remember I've always questioned the Uchiha massacre. I understood pretty well why it happened, it wasn't Kishimoto's biggest screw-up in terms of plot either, but I never understood why only Sasuke survived. Ba, to create a narrative in which it would turn out that more people survived, further leaving the plot of Sasuke being the lonely prince, seemed quite simple to me. It wouldn't even have been necessary to change the main plotline, because it would have been enough that Sasuke would not have been aware of it.

Ah and I'm not including the Boruto storyline here, involving the existence of Sarada. I was never convinced about that continuation.

Why is it illogical that Sasuke was the only survivor? The simplest answer: experienced ninjas and a matter of chance.

Without questioning the abilities of Itachi (who, let's remember, was 13 years old) and Obito (who, while a bit older, was not in the best mental state).

Firstly, Konoha has highly developed medical assistance. The decision to massacre was made by three Hokage advisors. Even if he approved it, I do not believe that if it turned out that help had arrived quickly enough and someone could be saved he would not have allowed it. He has plenty of guilt anyway. (I don't deny that Danzo could have ordered his minions to finish everyone off, but well statistically as they say there is always someone.) Plus being in this profession - most tend to learn how to take a punch, and millimetres sometimes mean a lot.

Secondly how come everyone was supposedly in the village on the Uchiha land at the same time (and only Sasuke was returning late from the academy, where did the rest of the students go, were they faster than Sasuke?). I saw a post once that touched on this, but to repeat. It is known that as a result of the repression and resentment of civilians and some of the shinobi, the Uchiha tended to stay on the sidelines, but that doesn't change the fact that some of them were actively involved in missions - not all of them were in the police force. (I still don't believe that only Itachi and Shisui were in the Anbu.) And even if by some miracle no one had a mission outside the village, or Obito managed to kill all the active shinobi on a mission and no one noticed. It is to be believed that just that day, no one had any urgent business to attend to that would knock him out of his planned rhythm from even that morning. Sickness or childbirth that would have required the main hospital. A sudden visit to a further acquaintance, ba a visit to that cat village of theirs. People really are unpredictable and this kind of stroke of luck happens more often than we think. For example, the survivors of aeroplane crashes - the one girl who fell out of the plane, ended up in a jungle and found her way to civilisation.

Third, even persecuted societies are not homogeneous and the proverbial black sheep will be found everywhere. The proverbial considered from various angles. No matter how many times it was emphasized that everyone wanted to rebel against the village authorities, surely if a poll was conducted the results would not be everyone "- Itachi, Shisui and maybe Sasuke". Statistically there would certainly be votes of I don't know, yes but not strongly, or no but not strongly. So there were definitely a few people who had friends of friends or lovers outside the clan.

And this brings up the argument about infidelities, secret lovers and unplanned pregnancies. Regardless of the situation the clan was in and what rules were in place (trying to maintain the bloodline within the clan, etc.) - people are only human. Hence, as far as I remember, a good example is Izumi, who was drafted into the clan with her mother after it turned out that she had a sharingan (or maybe it was a fan interpretation? anyway). You mean to tell me that there were no Uchih children in the village who either didn't know they were Uchiha, or kept it a secret because that's what their parents wanted - so there wouldn't be a scandal. Especially considering that no matter how good a contraption is it's not foolproof. Additionally, from what I remember it was said somewhere that not every Uchiha needs to activate sharingan. Of course, if one succeeds, there is pride and all, but even considering Obito, no one denied that he was one even if they had different expectations of him. So there's probably a chance that the gene responsible for sharingan could skip a generation-which gives even more room for maneuver when it comes to these types of children.

Truly, I think there is a need for people with Uchiha blood who activated the sharingan, and thus confirmed their blood, as a result of the massacre - as they learned of the death of someone close to them. Or during an attack during the third round of the chunin exam. Or when Pain attacked. (Especially knowing that some activated in through Kyubi - Izumi). The chances that someone was pregnant with an Uchiha child and no one knew about it at the time of the massacre may not be that high, but the possibility that it happened a few times in the past is quite high.

Lastly, the argument goes back to our dear "villains", because if I'm already thinking like that, I could go back to them after all. Although their deaths had a purpose, I still think that both in Itachi's and Obito's cases, if they survived by some miracle, it would be more interesting to see them atone for what they have on their conscience. Particularly Itachi who we know was sick and went untreated anyway. Probably even if they had started treating him after the war he would not have had many years to live.

I would really like to see a scene, especially after the final battle with Naruto, where Sasuke learns that he is not the last one and that if he had stayed in the village he would have found out, either as he gained the rank of chunin (if they were untrained adults) or as soon as it became safe again (in the case of children, to help them - especially if any had trained at the academy).

Let's not kid ourselves, Sasuke always wanted a family (or at least when he was younger he certainly would have appreciated it).

Important Note: There are some characters I will NEVER be writing for even if they are loved in the fandom and popular. Number one reason is because it reminds me too much of my husband in real life. So it's uncomfortable and awkward writing stories with characters that remind me too much of him (e.g. Toji from JJK, Yoo Joonghyuk from ORV, Aomine Daiki from KNB, Sung Jinwoo from SL, Wriothesley from GI, Callisto Regulus from VADTD, most ‘black flag’ or even red flag manhwa MLs to name a few. There's more, but these are some popular examples).

I'm going to level so hard though as someone who primarily remembers the musical adaptation which has a different villain. I now cannot stop imagining Obito as Gleb for The Neva Flows and its reprise bc hooooooo boy. Maybe Team Ro as the con squad?

I looked up The Neva Flows reprise and man, it fucked so hard actually. I dont know the full context but it isn't hard to get the jist of it, and like,,, man,,, Obito killing (or trying to hype himself up to it) Kakashi in the name of the revolution,, for the crime of being the last hatake,,, ough,, could be an au all on its own tbh, might have to think about that later

Team Ro would make an amazing con squad tho, I would love to see it. Shisui is in the lead but Itachi is holding the reins. Tenzo is also there. Kakashi won't know what hit him!

If Naruto was written in Seinen pattern

Naruto is a great series and a masterpiece but it has its flaw,

the thing is author focused the story too much on main 2 characters then always told the past important events by the dialogues of some important characters but this isn't fair bc we need to know Uchiha's/other side of the story and other villages side of the story too

to understand the true intensity of the situation they were talking about and justify certain characters actions,

then there madara and onoki's conversation,

we don't when it happened and what madara was doing there and who told him to act like that,

inner monologues from madara and itachi and some other characters in those event will give us the true pic of how they really felt and what they were feeling,

then how did hashirama died and 1st shinobi war turned out, how was Tobirama's reign, how were Uchiha treated by villagers, how much damage obito did to mist village, the conversation when hiruzen signed treaty with kumo, how hyuga cadet branch aside from neji actually felt, how haku's clan get destroyed, how much effort did uchiha and hiruzen put in to solve the prb, how danzo and shisui so sure that there might be a war or just speculation, was uchiha capable of causing civil war or they easily overpowered by village top shinobi branch, why would there be civil war bc whole village is die hard loyal to Hokage that's why they never question the village leader no matter how difficult the life was, what was kakashi's father mission that he was bullied for, naruto and sasuke's relation with villagers at a young age, how and why did they shun sasuke! villagers true reaction in mass to the news of Uchiha massacre on panel in person etc

so many question not answered properly, some fans in the fandom use there own interpretation for the lack o information cause misinformation,

I bet if it was a Seinen, we might be able to get the answer to these questions,

another thing author didn't focus on fleshing out the theme for on larger scale only for some character,

like cycle of hated and how it impacted the shinobi world and its war economy and then their daimyo and their roles and so many questions,

naruto going to be a future leader of the village, why doesn't he talk about politics and how he can solve these social problems with the villains at least we will know naruto's leadership skill but only focus on emotional and theoretical aspect,

I bet it was written in seinen,

we could have seen naruto's true leadership skill along with being motivational speaker ,

then there SS and NH,

their development not shown in manga but after it ended,

I felt like author tries to focus on naruto's commercial success and not on quality writing,

no wonder boruto's story is so lazy,

that's why I had prb with naruto and i thought if it was seinen then writing would be more in detailed and not one sided and not 2 characters focused most of the time
