my favorite part about gacha games is that they would have ignited SO MUCH feminist debate 10 years ago, but 4th wave feminism has died down so much no one even cares that in their quest to have as many attractive (frequently over-sexualized) women as possible, many gacha games have the majority of in-game positions of power filled by women and even commonly have plots where the majority (say, 2/3 to 3/4) of the driving characters are women. People do occasionally talk about the hypersexualization of course, but the essays that would have been written a decade ago...

I didn't really finish the epic 7 story so I've been rereading it for a bit and honestly

Ras and Mercedes are so cute. They both have trouble with human emotion and learn through each other how to express that and become close in that way where they go hard for each other. Mercedes sacrificing herself when Arbiter Vildred was about to demolish Ras and Ras going through that whole thing to get Mercedes her soul back 😭😭

It's an amazing fairytale, it's about not judge a book by it's cover and a far you are willing to good with you greet. The princess that has everything, ends up with nothing because she is shallow, and rather kiss a pigs boy for toys, then marry a poor prince. Other fairytales I really love is "Elverhøj, de vildre svaner, Den lille Idas blomster and of course Den lille pige med svovlstikkerne"

As of uhhh literally yesterday I have been sold hard on Aventurine/Ratio/Topaz from honkai: star rail

The dynamics are delightful and they make me do the happy little aaaaaa they are. So good. I cannot believe hoyo made me care so much about the IPC

Aventurine has very quickly reached blorbo status hoyo wrote one hell of a character and it has worked on me

Jing Yuan. That man did nothing wrong. I love him.

Temenos Mistral. Bastard man beloved. I want him to do more blasphemy it's funny

Baizhu Genshin. I'm a big fan of immortality and life force fuckery and I support this man and his best friend snake in all his probably unethical lifespan extending endeavors even if he will 100% fail and die young (sad) (that's what headcanon is for)

Objectively Arlecchino has done a lot of horrid things but in my heart they were all justified because she is incredibly hot. I dunno if that counts tho

This is one of my older fandoms buuuuut nie huaisang is also in the objective atrocity category. I don't think he's hot but he still did no wrong in my eyes every last bit of that plan was deserved including and especially the murder methods

Oh wait. Vildred epic 7. I forgot about him because I've been struggling to find e7 fandom people. Sure he killed a lot of people and tried to end the world but it made sense in his position ok I am very normal (real)
