Social or business meetings, appointments and obligation that have consumed a lot of your time are coming to an end. It is a welcoming relief as it will free up your already busy work schedule. The fear now is that when it finally ends something else will replace it with what could be potentially more demanding upon your time. Don’t allow that to transpire is the message from the cards today. Get busy and start renegotiating.

July for Loki Oracle Card Message
Today, Loki wanted to share an oracle message with you from the Viking Oracle deck. Today's oracle message is the rune card Mannaz.
Mannaz is the rune of "mankind". The rune of the person, the self, community, the greater good, rationality and mental development.
You are important. By this, I mean both personally and as part of the community, and the species. This is true even if you live amongst those that don't acknowledge this. We are all part of an interconnected web and what each of us does affects all. Now is a good time to look at yourself in terms of where you stand with and how you interact with the community, your species, the divine, the greater "whole". This seems overwhelming and you may feel small when doing so, and this is natural. However, what each of us does affects the whole... indefinitely (this too can be overwhelming, and is a discussion for another time)... This doesn't mean you should hesitate to do what is important to you, and you are, after all, very important.
Now might also be a time to consider where you stand with yourself. That can be complicated too, if you're being honest with yourself. After all, some of our greatest conflicts come from within. And what about the work you do on and for you in terms of mental and spiritual development? This also is part of the energy of Mannaz.
So, as you go into the day/weekend/coming week (this message is timeless, after all), consider reflecting on your connections with the yourself, the community, and the "whole" (including the divine). Can you look at life both personally and collectively? Remember that what you do affects you, irrevocably and indefinitely, and what you do affects all. Keep this in mind as you consider your needs and the needs of others.
Hail Loki! I love You!

BERKANA woodcut print rune deck hand made by PJ Superior features each of the 24 Elder Futhark runes (plus a ”Wyrd” card) carved by hand into birch wood and printed in a hand cranked barrel press. (The backs printed with a spoon.) Along with the rune symbols, each associated Norse word along with a simple, deeply meaningful illustrative border is carved into the wood from which these cards are printed. The Norse rune symbols are still the main visual focus.
The woodcut print method used to create this hand crafted set of cards ensures that the wood carving typical of the most ancient sets of casting runes is still present in this contemporary deck.
I call this rune deck BERKANA after the 18th rune in the Elder Futhark alphabet, because it means “birch” which is the same type of wood used for the carving of this deck. In runic divination, Berkana represents growth, renewal, and hope.
A home made guide booklet, sewn by hand, is included to share interpretations for divination. The guidebook includes cultural background and history of the Elder Futhark runes, as well as insights into the inspirations and meanings of the artistic imagery accompanying each symbol.
Limited edition of 50 funded via Kickstarter
A handful of decks now available:

Rune Art: Witch's Familiar Rune Oracle by Athene Noctua
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Witch's Familiar Rune Oracle by Athene Noctua Created by Athene Noctua Artist: Athene Noctua "A 24-card deck based on the meaning of the Elder Futhark (Nordic Runes) and inspired by the beautiful animal companions with whom we share our world.  Owls and ravens, snakes and hares, cute little bumblebees surrounded by swirls of magical dancing on the cards.  You will find some of your favorites as well as some lesser known ones, each containing the meaning, properties and energy of the different runes they have been chosen to symbolize.
As a divination system, Runes can tell us about all those things most important to us: home, family, love, prosperity, health and the fulfilment of our destinies. They can also imbue objects and ceremonies with the energies they embody. As such, I loved the fact that by placing a rune on each card, it not only denotes the meaning that card will have within the oracle deck, but also lends its energy to the card, imbuing it with it's nature.
As such, these cards are perfect as part of a daily divination practice, as well as a tool for ceremony, to help focus and call in energy during ritual. Ask the cards for guidance, or call on them to bring luck, protection or new love during a spell. "
The deck was promoted via Kickstarter.

I know it has been a long while since the Vikings was a popular show, but I loved that show so much. And I loved the men🫣 in that show. Is there by chance a possibility to get a reading on some of those castmembers? When you have time of course.
I’d love to. I loved that show as well. 🥰

This is going to be a ramble but I think it brings up a important discussion in the pagan community such as Pagan witches. Now to preface I’m a witch and I identify as so but I think it’s important to bring up how some pagans do not accept witchcraft in the community. I’m talking about mostly Hellenic or Norse pagan communities but I’m sure there is others like it. Either groups or certain people may not accept you because you’re a witch, it’s strange because it is.
Our ancestors and those who practice in these religions had forms magic respectively speaking more acceptable than today. However there was still prejudice against witchcraft, the ancient world was very superstitious. In the Viking age Sedir was considered to be the magic of women, which involved activities of which a socially acceptable form of women would do like weaving or spinning. There was homophobia during this time as they thought of a man who practiced Sedir was homosexual by doing homosexual acts would take another man’s power away. Seidr has a sexual symbolically of the birds and the bees of the woman and a phallus (I’m not going into detail) but they saw Sedir could’ve have had a erotic connection to it. Now in modern day pagans some I should say even groups forbid or look down at a man that practices Seidr as the excuse of being “only women does this” or “You’re practicing baneful magic” to men. I’ve heard people say Seidr is baneful magic which is highly misinformed it’s another shamanic practice that involves a lot of divination, chanting, spirit work, etc. anyone can do this. Last time I checked, Allfather is the god of Seidr gifted to mankind. Same with Hellenic polytheists who think magic would “command” the gods which again not true that was a superstition. The gods do not care of you practice magic, they probably ask why are you doing so especially if you’re incorporating them into your practice. Hekate is the goddess that protects from evil magic but she also advocates it. Cursing is a valid practice, especially if said curse is to someone who is abusing their power. The Norse gods especially Odin would not care if a man practices Seidr you can be straight or Queer and practice that path. As a woman you (a man or man presenting) can practice this magical path. Witchcraft is different in every culture but it changes perspective through the ages. How we see magic now is probably not how the Ancients saw it like having an oracle see visions and channel the gods using herbalism.
Historical evidence aside modern pagans misunderstands what witchcraft is and why a lot of pagans use it. Yes you don’t have to be a pagan to practice witchcraft vice versa. Modern pagans will still have religious tramua from a Christian perspective of witchcraft especially if they read something in a historical context. Though yes some magic in these cultures were at times considered to be taboo, illegal, disgusting, it should not be anymore especially in this day and age. Times change, I’m not saying a pagan who isn’t a witch needs to become one but rather educate oneself before shouting out their opinions. Amount of times I have been taunted in comment sections of certain groups because I posted a poppet which they thought it was baneful magic off the bat is a problem, that I’m not allowed into certain groups because I made poppets as physical representations of the gods them not realizing poppet work is very prevalent within Scandinavian culture which their called Kitchen poppets. Just having the old outdated of “men shouldn’t be practicing Seidr because it’s evil if they do so.” Like it’s an insult to their manhood or what it means to be a man. It goes into toxic masculinity as well of Bro Viking culture, I should mention it’s mostly cis and straight men repeating these awful points but there are some women as well.
I want to make people aware that witches can be outcasted and bullied even in pagan communities. I understand it’s not everyone’s experience but it still happens and it needs to be addressed and talk about more in my opinion.

The Serenity Prayer arises up to the forefront of your thoughts as you attempt to instil changes to an unhealthy situation affecting you today. The more resistance you face the more you are inspired to be more courageous in your approach. Thankfully it is such a positive reinforcement to take on-board that will eventually see you turn the situation around.

So, I've begun work on a painting I have been wanting to work on for a while. Loki and Lucifer are both interested in the painting/style. So We decided that one could be made for each Their art journals.
We're starting with some glossy black paint black today, and I will post a detail shot from each. I'm also including a card pull from Lucifer and Loki. I'll try to post both messages in the same post because this just makes sense. Loki chose a rune card, and Lucifer chose a demon card. And the cards...Wow...I love this. And I love Them!
Anyway, the card Loki chose was Jera. Jera is associated with harvest, the rewards reaped after long, patient effort. What are you reaping? Well, obviously that depends on what you sowed. And that applies in every area of your life. And that isn't a criticism, simply a matter of cause and effect. A natural cycle. And, speaking of cycles, Jera is also associated with a cycle coming to a close, including the preparation for winter and spring. So Jera is a celebratory rune and a rune tied to the cycle of life and death. So, you are celebrating a "harvest" and/or a cycle in your life is coming to a close. While you are celebrating, remember to prepare for the new beginnings coming in the "spring".
And...
The card Lucifer chose is Eurynome. Eurynome is known as the prince and death and is reputed to feed on corpses. His message is about holding onto the "dead", grieving for or trying to revive a situation that is ready to fade into your past, hanging on to the past when the time has come to move forward, to prepare for the future, to continue into the next cycle. Whether you are celebrating or grieving, some part of your past still has a grip on your ability to fully embrace your future. Rather than trying to nurture a dead situation, grieving for that part of your past and preparing for the future will help you move forward into a new cycle.
Wow!
Thank you for reading! This was a collective reading. Take only what resonates.
Hail Loki! I love You always!

Rune Art: Enchanted Runes Oracle Deck by Jennifer Cabanaw
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Enchanted Runes Oracle Deck by Jennifer Cabanaw.
A rune deck successfully backed upon Kickstarter in 2023.
Imagine, you are strolling through an enchanted forest, where you believed the whispering winds carried secrets known only to the trees, when you notice a hooded man sitting at the base of Yggdrasil. Two ravens perched upon his shoulders are cawing at you to come closer. Entranced, you step forward. Odin, the wise god of Norse mythology, cast his one good eye upon your humble, human form. With a knowing smile, he extended his hand, and all twenty-four of the shimmering runes, glowing with ethereal power, materialized as cards before you. They floated gently into your outstretched palm, filling you with a sense of ancient knowledge and deep connection to the cosmos. The Enchanted Runes Oracle is now spread out in front of you, the ravens still cawing in the background. Your hand now hovered over the deck before feeling a source of energy to draw forth a card. It was as if the very cosmos held its breath in that moment, for the chosen card would unveil the secrets of the seeker's destiny. You turn the card over, and the rune tied to your fate is..?
Hello Curious Wanderer,
What card will you draw?
Creating this oracle feels like it has been my whole world for quite some time now, and I am beyond excited to finally share this passion project with you in its final steps of the journey! My deepest wish is that these runes add an extra touch of enchantment to your world.
LET'S BEGIN!
The twenty-four runes of the Elder Futhark were created into twenty-four unique acrylic paintings to produce the Enchanted Runes oracle deck. Each one has its own style! I feel like this gives the individual card its own energy in a way. I hold each rune so close, so I wanted them to feel different, enchanting, mesmerizing, special, and to each have their own captivating and symbolic imprint.

do you have some fic finds of damian acting like an ipad kid lolol or just him acting like a kid because the batfam makes him feel safe to act vulnerable <3
'cheese viking has taken over damian's life' by advertise_name_here
“-- Yes, coming from the one willing to throw away a mission for anything tangentially related to just some random arcade game --”
“-- I can handle these hordes of simpletons and do my mission with ease.”
Robin simply ignored her sarcastic quip for the moment. Horrified shrieks erupted from Robin’s side of the commline, only receiving an eye roll from Oracle. Pure vitriol seethed in his next word, despite his attempt to keep a cool head. “Also--”
Robin let out an grunt which reverberated throughout the arcade, the impacts of his hits were heard so loudly she could almost feel the swings.
“It’s not just ‘some random arcade game’, it is an amalgamation of human’s greatest achievements ungraciously left unnoticed and unappreciated by the greater sphere of modern culture in our postmodern turbulent pursuit for the newest trends rather than long term solutions.”
Oracle was not impressed by his little thesis.
“It’s literally called ‘Cheese Viking.’”

In ur viking au, What is Dream trying Nm from doing? Or what is nm scheming?
I think Nightmare's goal is absolute power in the tribe.
Unluckily for him, he can't physically and hierarchically be the leader, but as their priest/oracle, he can keep the leader himself under control. (Horror was quite headstrong, but now Nightmare has more opportunities on "fresh ground")
Nightmare disliked Cross from the very beginning and had already tried to get rid of him with Horror's hands, but now that Cross has lead their tribe, Nightmare wants to "get" to him through Dream (Cross' fellow soldier).
Dream feels it, but he can't go against his own brother (who's "on friendly terms with the gods"), so now Dream must choose which of them to be loyal to.
Tumblr media
Sure thing! \(//∇//)\ And feel free to share <3
Tumblr media
Hii!╰(*´︶`*)╯It's alright, you can find them here ☆
UPD:
Tumblr media
Aw, I can understand your indignation! (´∀`*)
In fact, there are! The thing is that good-oriented characters (as more spiritually developed and striving for higher values) are more sensitive to the harsh material world they're forced to be in and therefore weaker in confronting it ("ó_ò)
They're not so much good as "hidden villains" from the very beginning, but rather easier victims to lead astray or "be blinded" by false values later (◞‸◟)
Nightmare was good—no one is born evil, after all—and he would've been a good prophet indeed if he was raised out of love to this role and not out of being weak for any other one. He is respected now, but he will be always hungry for more power, and it will never be enough for him...
Again, there are always exceptions (for example, priest!Cross is a really good boi! <3 He was just unlucky to fall in love.)

Happy STS! If you had to give your characters a traditional fantasy archetype to embody (knight, princess, dragon, viking, wizard, etc), what would you pick?
Been sitting in my asks for a while but I'm doing it.
Lexi - paladin I think
Maddie - I feel like some kind of warrior or maybe a fantasy dwarf idk
Ash - an alchemist I feel
Gwen - elf or warrior princess
Noelle - some kind of knight
Rose - potentially an oracle or a mage?
Kelsey - idk a witch maybe
Robbie - wizard, dorky hat and all
Akash - guard or knight or like a dragon rider
Jedi - librarian or scholar tbh
Carmen - some kind of sorcerer or captain
I feel like this wasn't worth the wait lol sorry
Thanks anyway!

omg I'm so excited about runes!!! when I was younger I learned the alphabet in runes and started writing my diary like that lmao
since then I've been very interested in them but I never had the chance to properly learn about them, so thank you for the opportunity!!!
also, you have any books about runes to look up to? thank you so much :)
ahh i am glad that you might enjoy it!! I am pretty much new with runes too (only started like 3 years go since I started worshipping Freyja). and so far it is a very good tool but I must admit it's hard ;--; at least to me, I still have some trouble when casting too much.
for some academic reliable sources, I would advice:
Runes: a Handbook by Michael P. Barne
A practical guide to the runes by Lisa Peschel
Nordic Runes: Understanding, casting and interpreting the ancient Viking oracle by Paul Rhys Mountfort
Futhark: A Handbook of Rune Magic by Edred Thorsson
Runelore: The Magic, History, and Hidden Codes of the Runes by Edred Thorsson
and pretty much any book by Thorsson
