Ok first of all, I want to say that I love your goofy little drawings. They always put a smile on my face whenever I see them.
Also I have a drawing request. Could you please draw Victorian England Byler. I would love to see Mike give a bouquet of flowers to Will using Victorian flower language.
Hope you have a good rest of your week!
Ahhh thank you!! This one was actually very, very fun. Mike would love Victorian Flower Language, but he'd do it in the weirdest ways. (I put in a little guide to the plants at the bottom)
Plants in the drawing and their Victorian meaning:
Tussilage- 'Justice shall be done to you'
Burning Nettle- slander
Green Carnation- A secret sign of homosexuality appearing first in the late 1800s, often worn on the front of a coat
Pineapple- 'You are perfect'
Syringa, Carolina- disappointment
Sweet William- Gallantry
Also I need a Victorian AU fic where Mike uses flower language IMMEDIATELY
#victorian byler#byler#stranger things#byler fanart#will byers#mike wheeler#If I had a nickle for every time Mike liked flowers in one of my AUs#I'd have three nickels#Which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened thrice#Victorian bathing suits are my favorite#I needed a beach holiday for that reason#Silly sock factory#Mike wears silly socks#history with byler

NSFW Hogwarts in the 1890s Headcanons
Convenient Plot Devices (to make my smut more believable)
(aka Nurse Blainey is a very supportive and progressive witch doctor!)
Every girl over the age of 15 (sometimes earlier) is required to take contraceptive potions as per request by Nurse Blainey who had to deal with horny teenagers and their lack of mind for consequences for too long.
Boys don't have to take them, but can if they are so inclined.
Very reluctantly, the recipe for that potion is taught by Professor Sharp in the Sixth-years' Potions class.
There are potions for every ailment (usually provided by Nurse Blainey), including aftermath soreness or the "potion after" if a witch/wizard forgot to take their contraceptive potion.
There were indeed condoms*, but not every wizard carried them, so the potions and/or a quick disappearing spell had to be used to prevent pregnancies.
*Condoms were usually distributed in barbershops in the late 19th/early 20th century (according to Wikipedia) so I imagine Madam Snelling selling them under the counter in her hair salon.
There is no sex-ed class in Hogwarts, but again, Nurse Blainey is the first to hand out informative literature* or reading recommendations.
The Restricted Section of the library has an entire room filled with erotic fiction, anatomical books and various guides to help out the eager witch or wizard.
*Informative literature included tips and guides for the uterus-bearing population on how to deal with bleeding. As early as 1890, probably even earlier, there was the "invention" of pad-belts/sanitary belts in Victorian England, those were re-usable and I can imagine even easier to use for witches because instead of cleaning them the old-fashioned way, they could just clean them with a swish of their wand. (Read more on the history of menstrual pads here if you're interested.)
Ignatia Wildsmith has seen more horny teenagers making out in front of her Floo flames than people actually using that way of travel.
Ghosts see a lot of things and mostly they don't care about it, unless they are Richard Jackdaw* who likes to stalk those horny teenagers more often than is appropriate.
*Shameless plug: I wrote a smut piece about our favorite horny ghost called The Horny Ghost (how creative).
"Silencio" is the most used spell in the dormitories, boys' and girls' alike.
Hufflepuffs are the only ones who don't have curtains around their beds! But I bet they can think of other devices to get some privacy. Maybe they're masters of the Disillusionment charm!
On that note: only Ravenclaws have their own in-house bathrooms - with actual bathtubs! Slytherins have to leave their common room, and Gryffindors and Hufflepuffs have to walk quite a while to find the nearest bathroom. [Correction: there are bathrooms, one with stalls, one with stalls and bathtubs, in the Gryffindor common room, but only on the girls' side! (Thanks to @mianeryh for pointing that out!)]
But this is a post about HCs, not actual fact/pointing out lazy game design, so I'd like to imagine that all houses have at least one communal bath/bathroom area very close to their dormitories.
*By the way: In the Slytherin, Gryffindor and Hufflepuff common rooms, the girls' dormitories are upstairs, so they have the stairs turning into slides whenever a boy tries to access them, whereas in the Ravenclaw common room, the girls have to go down the stairs and are "only" protected by two suits of armor guarding the way, which in turn makes it easier to sneak past!
Popular make-out places are: the boat-house, the underground harbor, the loft above the Great Hall, the kitchens (poor house-elves), the Prefects' bathroom, the Restricted Section of the library, any dark empty hallway, any empty classroom/storage room, the Undercroft and the Room of Requirement (if they know of them), ...
*Honestly: anywhere is possible in the large castle that is Hogwarts!
Let's talk fashion: we've all seen the HL undergarments of girls and boys, right? Here is an amazing guide by @tamayula-hl about period accurate clothing and their uses in smut writing, very informative!
So based on that I also believe that horny teenagers got tired of all those buttons and layers very quickly and learned spells to make the undressing easier, and/or used "Evanesco" to get rid of clothes entirely (and conjured them back afterwards) - though tbh, I, as a smut writer, don't care too much about how they get naked. They're wizards/witches, they have their ways!
My most used clothing device apart from simple spells: the convenient flap at the front of boys' breeches.

Redone 1872 Victorian in San Francisco, CA. As you can see it must've been brick b/c of the corner stones, but it's been sided and painted gray with purple trim. I don't mind that. 4bds, 6ba, 5,158 sq ft, $4.995m. What do you think?
The side hall entrance. I love that they used a darker floor for authenticity. That's the original front door. The stairs are intact, I like the runner. Not sure about the stone tile on the wall, though. The original molding has been painted gray.
The sitting room is entirely gray, but original. Love the fireplace.
Magnificent classical art on the ceiling, framed in gold crown molding.
In the second, matching sitting room, there's a little more color. There's a bar shelf in the corner with a nice zebra background.
And, look at this. The mural continues in this room. So far, I love it.
Oh, wow. They took some walls down and made a huge dining room/kitchen. I love the chandelier.
I don't know how I feel about this. I don't care for the upper cabinets. They did a brick wall, but why didn't they use used brick, so it looks old.
Next to it, they did a family room. I decided. I don't like it. Way too modern, and they changed the whole floor plan.
The powder room is gorgeous, but it's not Victorian looking.
This is one of my favorite wallpaper patterns, but they do have it w/people as well as monkeys, which may have been more appropriate for a Victorian. Well, at least they saved the railing.
What is with these people and stone walls? I like the light fixture. Looks like there should've been a fireplace where the dresser is.
Renovated bath. Wood painted black, but original. I like the sink. The silver paper I like, but not for this house.
Very modern looking closet.
This bedroom is good. Dark floor, original closets and fireplace.
This bath is beautiful, but super-modern. The only Victorian touch is the door.
Love the architectural features here.
Small, authentic bedroom.
The finished attic. Note the ceiling w/the artwork. Very modern, but it's the attic, so I'll give it a pass.
Modern shower room.
Down in the basement, there's a bright, modern wine cellar.
Family room and office or craft room.
Basement bedroom suite. Nice tile and I like the sink.
The yard is basically a patio. I don't like that it's so open to a main street.

My Heart Is a Haunted House
𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘭𝘦𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘈𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦, 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘴 𝘨𝘩𝘰𝘴𝘵𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘤𝘰𝘳𝘱𝘴𝘦𝘴, 𝘗𝘢𝘺𝘯𝘦𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘥 + 𝘗𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘢𝘬𝘪, 𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘛
@dbdpromptober Day 3: Eternity (words: 1211)
Charles’ home was haunted.
The lights of his room would flicker at the strangest of times, he heard footsteps following him, shadows in the mirrors. When he’d left the gas stove on, the cabinet door above it slammed, getting his attention.
He’d asked Maa what she thought about it, receiving a puzzled look back. Maybe it was only Charles that was haunted.
He was more than excited about it. The empty rooms didn’t feel as desolate anymore when he had company. The ghosts hadn’t harmed him in any way, instead he’d been alerted to the unattended stove. It was like they were looking out for him.
Any time he was alone at home, he listened for the sound of the piano. So far that hadn’t happened again, so Charles opted on playing his few cassettes back to back, filling the silence.
By now he’d mastered both sliding down the handrail of the master staircase and playing hockey on the smooth marble floor with a cricket bat and a ball. But Charles’ favorite activity was exploring the house.
He felt himself a proper detective, inspecting floorboards and built-in bookshelves for hidden safes. It was a Victorian mansion, there had to be a few secrets buried inside the walls.
There were footsteps above him. Quiet, but intent. Charles knew for a fact that nobody was home except him. He sprinted towards the source of the sound, finding an attic ladder with a rope for pulling it down.
Someone was standing right above him. The small click of hard shoes sounded intentional, like someone was tapping his foot impatiently, saying come on now, don’t make me wait.
In the layer of dust that covered everything were footprints. Charles tried not to move too fast and kick up more dust than he wanted to breathe in when he followed them.
There was a desk with a chair by the window, bathed in the afternoon sun. Charles imagined the ghost had been sitting there, looking at the view towards the yard. Across it, a path went through the gate and over a river into the tall forest.
The footprints stopped in front of a wooden chest, which blue paint the years had almost completely washed out. Charles cranked it open to find a set of gentleman’s winter attire (a vest, a coat and a pair of gloves), and other clothes, all destroyed by moths.
The only thing left was a black-and white photograph of a wide-eyed boy in a dark suit. His lips were pursed tight, his eyes serious. Charles was drawn to him, tracing his pale cheekbones with his gaze, wondering why, despite his neutral face, his eyes betrayed a profound sadness.
At the back of the paper, only numbers were jotted down with a quivering handwriting.
1900-1918
“Is this what you wanted me to find?” Charles asked, flinching at his own voice echoing from bare walls.
Is this you?
Nobody answered. It was expected, but Charles was disappointed nevertheless. He kneeled on the dusty floor, leaning on the open chest, just staring at the photo.
Were you alone too? Were you lonely?
He slipped the photo in the inside pocket of his Harrington jacket, close to his heart.
Other days, he couldn’t muster up the curiosity anymore. Coming back to the dark house after visiting Niko’s grave pulled him down into a glum mood.
Their crammed London apartment had never let him relax, but the oppressive silence of spacious halls felt uncomfortable in a different way. Charles trudged the stairs up into his room and dropped his backpack to the floor before faceplanting onto the bed.
He wished he had somewhere to be or someone waiting for him. He wondered what “home” was supposed to feel like. Probably not like this.
He lay motionless for some time. Just when he groaned, attempting to pull himself together, the first notes of a melody floated down the hall.
Charles jumped up, holding his breath. The piano was playing again. A different tune, too.
He rushed out and to the stairs. The music had been slow and unsure at first, like the player was testing out the right keys, but it gained more confidence when it went on. Charles wondered why it sounded so familiar.
“No way, mate!” He grinned when he recognized the tune. He skipped down, two steps at a time. “No way! You liked it that much?”
The song the ghost was playing was unmistakably Under the Milky Way from the best The Church cassette Charles had played over and over again the last few weeks. It flowed from the piano with a slower tempo than the original, but Charles hummed along anyway.
He sat down on the duet bench, staring at the unmoving keys covered in dust. Then he turned around, gazing at the ceiling, just enjoying the music. He hoped he could tell what the ghost looked like. He wanted to know who was playing for him.
“I wish I knew what you were loo-king for… Might have known what you would find…”
The piano played for a few minutes, until both the verse and the chorus had been heard a couple of times, with Charles just sitting there, a content smile on his face. When the music finally faded, a slightly awkward silence fell in the foyer.
Charles was pulled out of his thoughts. He sprung to his feet, full of excitement again.
“Trust me mate, if you like that tape, I know one you’ll love!” He hyped. “Just a tick!”
He ran upstairs and grabbed his recorder, cradling it in his arms like his most precious treasure that it was, stuffed the tape in his pocket and jogged back.
He put the recorder on top of the piano and fiddled with it, his hands swift like every second without music was unbearable. He glanced around wanting to make sure his companion hadn’t left yet, which was useless as he couldn’t see him. With a clack he encased the B-side of Songs From the Big Chair and pressed record.
The sweet sound of synthesizer transformed the room instantly, flowing like waves over everything. It filled Charles’ chest with joy and the beat tugged his limbs into motion.
If he closed his eyes, he could see the bright colors and shapes the music took, pulling him from the bleak present into space without time, without worry or pain.
He opened his eyes, dancing in the middle of the empty house, but he wasn’t lonely. Maybe the ghost was the family’s son who’d died young. Young people liked good music, didn’t they? If he was here now, Charles was sure he could turn that sad frown into a smile.
He’d take his hand and pull him to dance with him. The heir had been a proper fit lad in the picture, handsome in that old-timey way, like he was a classical painting. Charles knew he could be wrong, but at that moment, it really felt like he was here, that they were dancing together.
As long as the music flowed, breathing was easy, movement was light, and nothing hurt. That moment only was worth all of eternity.
“Something happens and I’m head over heels
I never find out ‘till I’m head over heels…”

Hey char! Since I know you have a collection, I urgently need to know your top five ronen pictures (with visual references of course)!
I belatedly present to you
5 RONEN PICS THAT TOOK MY BREATH AWAY
1. 2022 GLAAD Awards
I don't see this ever dropping out of my Top 5. The color combination of this suit and the way it compliments his coloring, the bow, the earring, the absolute glow, his perfectly tousled hair, the twinkle in his eye. Every photo from this night is a joy.
2. 2023 Hello Magazine
Did you stop breathing when this article was released? I could not believe my fucking eyes. One outrageous picture after another, we were fed! They're playful and sultry and communicate so much of the fire between their characters that I missed in Season 4. Most days this photo is my favorite because Ronen says so much with his eyes. But there isn't a bad one. The lighting is terrific, it bounces so well off his shiny suit and highlights the contrast between scruff and his pretty face. Sigh.
3. 2021 Behind the Blinds
Lace panties in the bath. That open and pensive expression under wet, slicked-back hair. Eyelashes! The collar. The shadows in blue lighting. It’s ridiculous.
4. 2023 GLAAD Awards
I get that I haven’t covered more than a spec of the photoshoot and events, not to mention the nearly naked candids and selfies. There are *many* for which I have screamed loudly. But this mf steps it up on a occasion, for *the* occasions and just wrecks my lungs. Here’s another. The hallway one is just stupid hot and I’ve included an official photo that would have paused my breathing if I was doing that well.
5. 2022 Hello Magazine
This shoot is like a walk through the botanical gardens. The colors are magnificent and compliment Ronen so well, from the green ensemble with pink roses to the yellow sweater, he is glowing. I know I use that word a lot. I don't know what else call it, he glows! Ok but it's this muted, darker, posed one that I like best. The background flowers have a victorian garden painting vibe that both compliment his colors and contrast the sexy of his sheer shirt and stance.
tada!
My apologies for spiraling off your simple ask. Despite your plea for urgency and with your clarification that full shoot representation and not just singular images could be considered, I accepted it as a MISSION that needed due diligence.
I preach to the choir, but Ronen is a gorgeous specimen. Chaise's understanding of the way color and style transform appearance is unparalleled and I have to believe his personal relationship (as portrayed publicly ofc) with Ronen infuses his ability to create an absolutely stunning ensemble that matches the occasion and the model so well. I cry.
To that end I've added a bonus photo that includes Chaise's acknowledgement of their magic. "We did it AGAIN" is clearly code for SLAYYYY. A dynamic duo.
There are others that caused gasps and shouts, tears and profanity, admonishing RONENs and more, but these are the ones that inch me closer to the Stroke Belt.
Thank you for requesting this challenge. I only heavily considered it because you have an unparalleled gift to place his lewks perfectly in the worlds you create. I enjoy that so much and cherish the opportunity to scream at you about them all.
Thanks pal. 💛

Hi hi!! How about 🍨, 🩳 and 🧜 for whoever you'd like?
Gonna answer these for my boy Silco! Thank you for asking!
4.🍨 Does your F/O have a favorite cold treat to chill off with? Silco strikes me as the type to enjoy a blood orange sorbet.
7.🩳 What kind of swimsuit does your F/O wear? He's another one I can see in an old timey Victorian men's bathing suit, though I think his would be in his red/black/gold color scheme.
11.🧜If your F/O was a merperson, what fish would be their lower half? Weird choice but I think Silco would make a great moray eel! Or one of those really old scary prehistoric fish that are now extinct, I could see him as one of those.

Could I please ask for some hcs for Donna and Alcina with S/O with a rough full time 10 hr days manual labor job. I’m a week into a job working at a warehouse and coming home at 10:30 every night with terrible feet and back pain, even with a fat check, is really hard and I would like some comfort from my face RE ladies 😔
Hell yeah, can Do!!!!
Alcina Dimitrescu
First of all, let's get one thing straight: Alcina HATES that you have a job that's so rough on you.
As a businesswoman herself, she loves that you're self employed and that you keep yourself busy. But the fact that your job is something that stresses you out? Yeah, no.
So what if it pays well? You're her partner, and therefore of equal social status. You should be treated like royalty.
Honestly, Alcina wouldn't be upset if you quit and just wind up as her house spouse. She will bring up you leaving your job if you get home and are especially tired. Darling, she hates to see you like this! You know that she likes to pamper those she cares for, so it's no trouble if you want to stay home!
It's a conversation that you both have quite often, actually. If you like your job and want to stay there, you will have to stick to your guns. Alcina doesn't understand why you have this need to work when she is more than happy to take care of you.
She's also, uh, very convincing? When it comes to getting what she wants, Alcina is more than happy to use every trick in her arsenal. She pampers you TO THE MAX after your shift, drawing you both a bath with scented oils and bath salts, helping you wash up and pressing you against her to have nice, warm water cuddles.
Once that's done, she lifts you out of the bathtub and into bed, with cool sheets and your favorite cold drink, and the cuddles continue there.
She also gives you a massage on the bed, and PSA? Alcina is BOMB at giving massages. You'll fall asleep almost instantly once she gets her hands on you.
(If you're not falling asleep immediately, It's not uncommon for her massage to slowly drift into something a touch more pleasurable. There are other ways for her to knock you out, and you work so hard already. It's nice to be rewarded after a long day 💕)
If you like alcohol, she might also turn this into "wine time". Sharing a nice glass of wine with you before bed while discussing your evenings is a good way for both of you to relax.
Alcina might also put out some feelers with her contacts to try and find you another job with more reasonable hours. Even if you like your work, Alcina thinks there are jobs better suited for you out there. Ones where you can have even more time to spend with her.
Donna Beneviento
Like Alcina, Donna worries that you're pushing yourself too hard.
She loves you a lot, and sometimes you work yourself so hard that you just walk through the door, into the living room, and face plant into the couch. Angie used to giggle a little when you did this, but even now the doll is just as worried about you as Donna is.
Initially, Donna starts by giving you a massage. She isn't very experienced at it, but she absolutely will give it a try if you ask for them. She usually doubles this with a hot water bottle for your back to help relax your muscles, as well as a hot cup of tea.
While it does feel incredible, and it helps a lot, Donna still worries she isn't doing enough. You're still very clearly tired, and she wants to do more to help you out.
She knows your energy levels are low, so she makes sure that her relaxation methods for you are helpful when it comes to de-stressing without effort.
You both enjoy down time in her garden, and since you spend a lot of your workday indoors, it's nice to spend some time outside.
Donna decides to set up a nice night time patio situation. It's very...eclectic? She has a covered area in the garden set up to protect you both from the elements, and fills it with a mishmash of furniture.
Most of Donna's furniture is more tea time victorian mixed with utilitarian wood pieces, and she has her staff set it up with a little bonfire in the middle. There's also a hammock set up nearby, which is the most modern thing she owns and is probably the thing you two use the most often.
(PS, Donna LOVES hammocks. When you introduced her to the concept for the first time and you both got inside it, the fabric was super tense and it forced you two to roll into each other and be close. It's like guaranteed cuddles, and Donna cannot get enough ❤️)
Your nights mostly include cuddling together in a hammock, while Donna reads you a book or asks you about your day, and you two just...stare up at the stars. It's so peaceful, and relaxing more than anything else. It quickly becomes the favorite part of her day.

Old victorian manor in Forgotten Hollow. No CC.
30x30 LOT.
It was very nice of uncle Victor to leave his manor to his favorite nephew before he disappeared, especially since he was not his real uncle but a old friend of the family. The house was very appreciated, until certain details started to be too werid. Like the fact that there was a nursery when Victor never got married, or Forgotten Hollow not appearing in modern maps, or the neighbors looking really disturbed and even worse, he could not find the door to the attic that exuded a disgusting smell.
Ground floor: Foyer, formal dinning room, kitchen, formal living room, library, half bath room. First floor: Master bedroom with master bathroom, one bedrooms with on suite, and an office with a half bathroom. Attic: ???

“Why don’t you go and do your thing where you close your eyes and breathe?”

“Haven’t you heard? I’m moving up in the world.”
“If I killed everybody who betrayed me there would be nobody left.”
“You have to know, you’re not safe.”
“You think you’re in control but you’re not.”
“Really, I’m fine. You should go.”
“You know I care about you?”
“You really like that baby, huh?”
“It would be really unsettling if he actually got something right.”
“I have all my best thoughts in the bath.”
“I haven’t looked up in ten minutes.”
“Meetings have biscuits.”
“That is literally the most parenting this household has ever seen.”
“You have been unfocused and manic for days.”
“I’m just having some fun.”
“It’s not my fault he was an idiot.”
“You want to amuse yourself, go crazy.”
“I’m the one doing all the work.”
“You think handling you isn’t work?”
“You should get your act together.”
“I’m not ready!”
“Once I pop, I just can’t stop.”
“I don’t have any self-control.”
“Is that supposed to mean something to me?”
“Did you take this job thinking it’d be easier?”
“You really should have some kind of protection, you know that right?”
“Have you ever locked and popped, ___?”
“I want to smell powerful.”
“Pushing ourselves out of our comfort zones is how we grow.”
“I adore a coincidence, it makes me feel I’m in the right place.”
“I just had the novel experience of being stood up.”
“Don’t worry, I’ll have him killed.”
“A terrible lifestyle suits me, huh?”
“Do you believe a word of that?”
“This place is psychopathic.”
“I should have shot you in the head.”
“I can’t stop thinking about you.”
“I’m not here for you!”
“I don’t want to talk about it.”
“Who doesn’t answer their phone on a stake-out?”
“Everyone, look innocent.”
“Don’t wait for me in the dark like that!”
“Don’t you want to know why I’m in your bed?”
“They own every little bit of you.”
“What kind of baby do you think I was?”
“I’m wearing power. And to keep power, you need knowledge.”
“This is where you belong!”
“So you’re saying this is it?”
“You do realize that’s my desk?”
“What is that smell?”
“You’re supposed to share the cake!”
“You’re like a sad teenager, waiting for a like on Instagram.”
“Don’t you like having fun?”
“You don’t know what it’s like when you’ve chosen to destroy your own life.”
“I promise you, whatever you’ve done is not half as bad as the stuff in my checkered past.”
“I stabbed someone.”
“Do not think that you are the only self-loathing as whole in the room, ever.”
“Choices, ___. It’s all about choices.”
“Can I stay with you tonight?”
“But it’s my job to do terrible things.”
“I want you to have a plan.”
“So not over me.”
“Ah. You made me cake.”
“It really doesn’t look like the picture.”
“Wait, wait, just because it looks bad doesn’t mean it tastes bad.”
“You don’t deserve nice things if you don’t look after them.”
“Why are you lying to me?”
“I gained valuable insight into Victorian gender politics.”
“You’re so close to getting what you want. But you have to play by the rules.”
“You are so annoying today.”
“I am just trying to save you from yourself!”
“You know, you really don’t have to be so dramatic.”
“This would be a really bad way to go!”
“Don’t worry, you’ll be my favorite.”
“What got you in such a good mood?”
“I really hate it when you do that.”
“You’re free now. You can be whoever you want.”
“But I don’t want to be free.”
“You have the hiccups?”
“I’ve been ordered to stay away from all of this.”
“What are you doing home at this hour of the day?”
“It is a bit odd being here in the daytime, isn’t it?”
“I get up to all sorts of stuff.”
“You barely even look at me.”
“I’m trying to tell you that I’m worried about you, ___!”
“You have hat hair.”
“You said you have everything under control.”
“Not getting any, huh?”
“Did they air bnb my room again?”
“I know a killer when I see a killer and she’s a killer.”
“You were mean.”
“I beat the crap out of the sofa so I don’t beat the crap out of people.”
“You’ll have lots of fun, I promise.”
“Being strong is a choice.”
“That looks like shit.”
“You don’t want to dance?”
“Eat this. Be quiet.”
“Come on, it used to make you laugh.”
“You always laugh at things that aren’t funny.”
“You do not belong here.”
“I was not a happy person.”
“You were never a happy person.”
“You were bad from the beginning.”
“Oh, I think I need to kill you.”
“It’s so good to see your eyes.”
“Do you want to put ice on it?”
“Are you trying to seduce me?”
“This is the same stuff I was doing before.”
“You know that would be okay... if you’re not okay, that is.”
“Sometimes you just need to let it win.”
“You can’t watch sports without a hot dog.”
“I don’t want to talk about it!”
“Where are we going? It better be someplace hot.”
“You should run away.”
“I don’t think you really want this.”
“Don’t let them see something’s up.”
“The plan only works if nobody knows there is one.”
“Should I… trust you?”
“None of us are to be trusted, that’s why we work here.”
“Don’t be a grump.”
“Stop or I’ll scream.”
“You know how annoying it is when you have to be around two people in love?”
“You’re a real role model, you know that?”
“You don’t have to do this. I already know you are scary.”
“___, are you comparing yourself to a carrot?”
“I don’t love being here either.”
“It would be so much better if we could have this conversation after I’ve eaten.”
“To you, I am harsh and cold and, to me, you are disappointed and expectant.”
“You don’t talk to people when they are bowling.”
“You can’t beat us, you understand?”
“Oh, I’ve got to get out of here.”
“That guy was really staring at me.”
“Do you know why I love you, ___? Because you’re an agent of chaos. And I love chaos.”
“You’re a beautiful monster, ___.”
“Thank you for the inappropriate touching. It was actually pretty nice.”
“You’re a child. You have no idea what you’re dealing with.”
“It’s just standard white person stuff.”
“Jokes are for people who do their job correctly, ___.”
“Do you ever think of anything else?”
“Heroes only get the girl in Hollywood.”
“Do you want to sit down?”
“Is this one of those moments we pretend never happened?”
“Look what someone just gave me. It’s a shank made out of a toothbrush.”
“Tone all this down a little. It’s too much.”
“So you’re actually leaving me here?”
“Why are you making this difficult?”
“You can’t get raided twice in a day. It’s a rule.”
“You look ridiculous.”
“Germans don’t wear kilts.”
“Russia has vegans now.”
“There is no such thing as a nice surprise.”
“Just once I want to make a scene and not be told to “be quiet” or to “pull myself together” or that I’m being ridiculous!”
“What kind of person does that?”
“I hope you die.”
“He’s crying out to be killed.”
“You have lost it, haven’t you?”
“Okay, I’m gonna make myself an omelette to celebrate.”
“That random guy now wants to kill me.”
“I thought you didn’t want to talk about it.”
“Wherever I go, someone wants to murder me.”
“I probably deserve it.”
“Let’s face it, ___, I’m a prick.”
“Don’t argue with me we’re celebrating.”
“You’re not really okay, are you?”
“I fear the walls may be closing in on me.”
“It’s starting to feel personal.”
“What is wrong with you?! You’re an emotional iceberg!”
“I’m not coming at you, I’m trying to hug you.”
“This isn’t healthy.”
“You can’t just refuse to feel anything for the rest of your life.”
“A little overdramatic, don’t you think?”
“Is this really necessary?”
“You’re going to die in this room.”
“We are both to blame.”
“Do you ever think about the past?”
“They seem happy. Carefree.”
“I want to feel like that.”
“Dancing’s not my thing.”
“Are you leading or am I?”
“We’d consume each other before we got old.”
“Talk me through your outfit.”
“Comfortable is what you make people with a terminal illness.”
“I was trained to look devastating.”
“You know, you almost have no sense of humor.”
“What am I supposed to do? Applaud or…?”
“What is this really about?”
“You’ve not tried to bribe someone before, have you?”
“I expected you to look more like a stripper.”
“You know your problem? You don’t know what’s good for you.”
“Well, this is something new.”
“You’re going to burn for this.”
“I wish I could believe you.”
“You never loved me. Not even close.”
“You can be pretty athletic when you choose.”
“I don’t want to do it anymore. Any of it.”
“You were never like them. You only thought you were.”
“When I try to think of my future I just see your face over and over again.”
“Did I ruin your life?”
“Do you think I’m a monster?”
“I think we all have monsters inside of us, it’s just that most people have managed to keep theirs hidden.”
“Help me make it stop.”

Johnny Joestar Headcanons
So, I was really bored and decided to write about my favorite Jojo, 𝓙𝓸𝓱𝓷𝓷𝔂! This is a mix of headcanons with some canon stuff.
So, here we go!
✰ Johnny was that typical doll-like perfect baby: curly blond hair, pale skin, pink cheeks, little freckles and big blue eyes that followed everything with curiosity. The clothes he used to wear also helped to mantain that look: in the Victorian era, babies from wealthy families used to wear dresses with plenty of ruffles, laces, ribbons, buttons and frills -no matter their sex- and bonnets. Nowadays he still has freckles; although not that many. They’re mostly on his cheeks and arms.
✰As we know, Johnny is the youngest of two brothers (being Nicholas 5 years older tan him). This, plus the fact that he also looked really fragile, made his mother really over-protective of him. This was usually seen as Johnny’s being Anne’s favorite, but she only wanted to protect his youngest son. The way his mom treated him made Johnny a shy, yet kind, child. That kindness made him adopt Danny, as well as taking care of Slow Dancer even if he knew that she was old and almost ruthless.
✰ His hair gets wavy in humid weather. When he was a child his hair was a curly mess after taking baths, but now it simply curls in soft waves, which he tries to straighten as much as possible.
✰He was born in Danville, Kentucky; so he has a heavy Southern accent. But since the Joestar family used to constantly travel to Britain -and actually lived there for some years-, Johnny added some British idioms to his vocabulary, thus resulting in a funny combo of British slang said in heavy Southern accent.
✰He grew up in a wealthy family -his father was tied to aristocracy, and also was a famous racer and breeder, having won the Triple Crown seven times and owning farms to breed racing horses-, so he’s a little bit of a spoiled brat sometimes. This status also made him picky over certain things, like food or baths.
✰Johnny was educated to be a “British gentleman” and, even if his own personality sometimes makes him fail at it, he still tries to behave as polite as possible. One habit that stayed with him was the one to note everything down, showing off his fine calligraphy and his accountant skills. The Joestar kid also knows Latin and Greek, as he was schooled. He even went to Oxford for a short period of time.
✰Johnny has never been fond of dark colours; he has always preferred to dress up in light ones. Luckily, they suit him.
✰Since he was a child, he has proved to be very perceptive of his surroundings, as well as being able to read the mood quite easily. Johnny is also good at focusing, what makes him a really good shooter -probably hunting would have been one of his hobbies, if he wasn’t kind and compassionate-. He has proved to being able to shoot at little and/or moving targets, even if firing from odd angles and perspectives.
✰Johnny loved his mother, and would try to follow her everywhere like a duckling would follow its mother. It wasn't surprising that his first words were "mama". His next word was "horsie", and would enthusiastically say it as he pointed to the horses in the fields when the family decided to take a walk around the farm.
✰In the Victorian era, it was common for toddlers to rarely be in contact with their parents; as they were mostly raised by a nanny. He did have a nanny -whom he loved deeply-, but his mother was still around at all times; she was always there for him. Despite breaking this usual thing, he was indeed raised to be like the stereotypical Victorian child: proper, polite and quiet.
✰The youngest Joestar loved to visit the horses in the family farms, enjoying their company. His fondness for these animals evolved into his skills as a jockey; as he also is well-versed in equine science.
✰Johnny was five when he first rode a horse, and his father quickly considered him a genius. The young boy quickly started to believe this as an irrefutable truth, his ego beginning to grow. Although he indeed is a genius with plenty of skills that allow him to ride across many types of terrain, or even challenge fellow genius jockey -ahem, Diego Brando-; having such a big ego ended up wounding him.
✰Even if George did praise his early horse-riding skills, the rest of Johnny’s childhood was marked by a strained relationship with him. His father was unnecessarily severe, to the point of physically punishing Johnny. He also favored Nicholas immensely, belittling the younger one with constant comparisons. After Nicholas’ death, George was convinced that “God had taken the wrong son” and took out his sadness and rage on Johnny. This cruel behaviour caused Johnny great pain, and an enormous feeling of inferiority.
✰Anne's death was a big shock for the youngest Joestar. He felt like he had lost the only support he had in the family; his mother would comfort him after his father scolds and punishments. She also happened to die a short time before Nick's accident. Johnny was 9 when his brother died; and around 7-8 when Anne died. His father cruel behaviour towards Johnny hurt him, and the little boy was upset because he didn't entirely comprehend why his mom wasn't coming back.
✰The only one who calls him by his full name -Jonathan- is his father, and he despises it. Nowadays, hearing his full name triggers something on him, reacting with some kind of fear. He was used to listen to his father call him only to point out his mistakes and scold him; so hearing “Jonathan” makes him have that kind of reaction.
✰He is a magnificent horse tamer, as seen with Slow Dancer: the horse was introduced as wild and ruthless, but she warmed up to Johnny, to the point of helping him get on her by hoisting him and rolling him down his neck and into the saddle.
✰After his father disowned him and threw him out of the Joestar household, Johnny, in shock, decided to shut himself off. With this, he also created a vain and narcissistic facade in order to hide the sadness this rejection caused him.
✰He tried to take Black Rose -Nicholas’ horse- with him when he was disowned.
✰After he was disowned, when Father’s Day arrived, Johnny used to spend the day in a sour mood, secluded and probably drinking, trying to forget his lame childhood.
✰With his pride harmed, he decided to prepare for the Kentucky Derby, winning it at the age of 16. He made it out of spite, trying to prove his father wrong and growing his own ego; maybe he couldn’t defeat Diego back in the UK, but he won the Derby. He still believes that winning the Derby was his greatest accomplisment.
✰When he was shot and paralyzed, Johnny felt his own pride crushing him: everything he showed off suddeny vanished. Unable to ride again, the horse-riding promise fell into oblivion; he lost all the friends and respect he had earned as a jockey. No one came to visit, leaving him behind; even his own father disappeared from his life, not even visiting him in the hospital. For that, Johnny is used to being abandoned: he forces himself to not get attached to anyone, since he believes that they’ll probably leave him.
✰During his stay in the hospital, the nurses used to dose him with morphine. They did it in order to shut him up –the poor boy was in terrible pain-, but for that, he got addicted to morphine. Luckily, it was only for a short time, since he managed to get clean several months after leaving the hospital.
✰Due to having such a big ego, now his past glory crushes him. He hates how he lost everything in such a pathetic way; but also believes he deserves it.
✰Surprisingly, his arms and chest are really strong; because he is always using them to crawl around and to lift himself.
✰Due to his light complex and weight, he is terribly ticklish.
✰He is a Christian, and believes in Fate and karma, but in a kind of wretched way. Johnny believes that, throughout the years, Fate itself was taking revenge on him for his misdeeds; and that he deserved every misfortune he received. His obsession with the Corpse showed his obsession with karma too, and how he wanted to reset it to a neutral state, paying off his negative debt. His beliefs in Fate explains his lack of confidence and constant panic of losing everything, since he firmly believes that Fate could at any moment take away his hopes.
✰Johnny has depression and, for this, a lack of confidence. He considers himself a useless person, a burden, and unworthy of love. This gloomy perspective of life came from his youth, making him a pessimistic man.
✰TW//suicide. He has considered -and tried- to commit suicide; but he couldn’t. He claims that it’s because he’s a “coward that hates pain, and doesn’t have the balls to finish everything”; but, deep down, it’s because he holds on to even the smallest hope.
✰TW//self harm. He has several scars: the ones on his arms are smaller, and were self-inflicted -self-harm and suicide attempts-. He also has some scars on his legs, caused by wounds he got by trying to stand up, walk and ride; but the biggest scar is the one covering half his back, as a memento from the accident. The bullet left a mark, surgery made it ugly, and the abuse he endured during his stay in the hospital made it worse. Therefore, he now is ashamed and self-concious of his back.
✰Seeing his legs makes him feel weak, and he hates that. He also despises feeling as defenceless as when someone picks him up to carry him without his consent. He truly hates feeling powerless, and it also makes him incredibly angry -and lowkey sad-. He can only tolerate this if it’s someone who he deeply trusts and knows, and only if he has asked for it.
✰At first, he wouldn’t let anyone touch neither his legs nor his back; but after warming up a little, he would tolerate caresses and gentle pats.
✰He also hates when people look at him with sorrow or as if they were pitying him. He may be disabled, but he’s still perfectly capable of plenty of things. Usually, he will reject any kind of help as politely as possible, but his anger will show.
✰Meeting Gyro made him throw away his harsh facade. At first, he was uncaring of everyone else save himself, only maintaining a polite but cold demeanour towards people he met; but Gyro’s influence made Johnny slightly more friendly.
✰ Gyro also made a great impact in Johnny’s perspective of life; not all of a sudden, but in gradual steps. The Italian man gave him hope, helped him to knock out his lack of confidence, gave him some assurance and optimism and also was genuinely nice to him, making Johnny grateful for meeting him. He treasures their relationship deeply.
✰Johnny doesn’t belittles Slow Dancer for being old, as he knows that she has plenty of experience as a Racing horse, and plenty of stamina. He truly knows his mare, possessing great knowledge of her: he knows and perceives her abilities and limits, and is able to predict what Slow Dancer will be capable of. They have grown quite close to each other, and she ocasionally nudges and licks him gently. Johnny loves this.
✰Sometimes, to kill some time, he and Gyro will exchange curses and slang in their respective languages. Gyro finds American sayings strange.
✰Gyro and Johnny had a hard time understanding each other in the beginning of their relationship: the older man had a thick Italian accent, and Johnny had to decipher what the hell was he trying to say. After a while, they grew used to each other's accents, but Gyro still made fun of Johnny's.
✰ His determination doesn’t waver, despite having failed several times. Johnny focuses on his goals, and puts them above anything else. He is also willing to endure severe wounds in order to reach them. And if you also add his stuborness…
✰The man is REALLY stubborn. If he wants to get something, he WILL, no matter what. If he has to, he will be violent or kill his opponents. This is called as “dark determination flickering in his eyes”, indicating a ruthlessness which would make Johnny able to kill in cold-blood. For this, he may seem amoral and selfish, even extending this to the interest of his loved ones. Yet he isn’t truly amoral, protecting defenceless people and taking damage to protect the ones he cares about.
✰He’s rather impulsive and hot-headed, which makes him take action as soon as possible. Sometimes, he might end up regretting not thinking BEFORE acting.
✰ Johnny would do anything for his loved ones:
Even if he’s afraid of his father, he has always tried his hardest to live up to his expectations.
He loved Nicholas deeply and looked up to him as an idol, and blames himself for his death. After he died, he became guilt-ridden, believing that his brother’s death was his own fault and that he should have died instead.
He was willing to abandon the Corpse Parts he had to save Gyro.
(JOJOLION SPOILERS!) When Rina was struck with the Rock Disease, Johnny stole the Corpse to make it transfer the disease away from her, not caring who would receive it and suffer in her place. But when the disease transfered to his son, he healed him by transfering it to himself, dying in order to save his wife and son.
✰He’s the CEO of being done with everyone’s bullshit. He’s angry 85% of the time, and usually cries out of anger.
✰ He’s also a sarcastic little shit. Any stupid questions you make him will be answered with his fine sarcasm.
✰He’s HORNY! This is shown with his bug bite fetish and the fact that he has been involved in at least one threesome. He doesn’t mind empty sex either -as he slept with several girls who came to him only for his fame-. He’s also bisexual.
✰When it comes to affection, he prefers to show his emotions through actions. For him, they speak louder.
✰Regarding to affection, Johnny will deny it; but he is touch-starved. The man really loves hugs and physical contact. He likes to hold on tight and get as close as posible. Since he doesn’t usually speak out loud his emotions, he will show them physically. However, he would rather be held, feeling loved and protected.
✰He feels guilty when someone falls in love with him, since he believes he’s not worthy of happiness nor love. He tends to think that he’s making them waste their time on him, when they could be with someone who could provide them with what they deserve. He can’t help but compare himself to others, belittling himself.
✰When he has a crush, he will do anything to deny it. He doesn’t want to admit how someone began to be so important to him, and is afraid that “Fate” might take them away from him. If he has to avoid them, he will; just to get away and not face his feelings.
✰George does reconcile with Johnny, and feels ashamed of how he treated his own son. He claims to be proud of him now, and even gives Johnny Nicholas’ boots. At first Johnny was resentful and wasn’t planning on forgiving him, since he believed that his father was only coming back for his recovered fame. After a couple weeks he decided against that, forgiving George and honouring him by naming his only son after him.
✰Nicholas’ boots were one of his most beloved possessions, and were passed down as a family relic.
✰If Rina had allowed him to name their daughter, he would have called her Anne, in honour to his mother.
✰In Japan, the Joestar-Higashikata family lived in a farm. Although the place is designed in the Japanese traditional way, Johnny couldn't help but give it some Western touches, specifically to the barns. These ones were designed to be as similar as the ones his father had in Britain and Danville. It made Johnny nostalgic, but in a gentle and warm way; he purposefully made them like that, so he could remember his roots.
✰They were quite wealthy: not only for the Higashikata's fruit business, but also for Johnny's connection with the Japanese government.
✰As a horse-riding teacher, his pupils loved and respected him deeply. Johnny liked discipline -as he took his profession seriously-, but was also very kind to them, treating them with the respect he never received.
✰Obviously, he taught his children to ride as early as possible.

I've really come to love your OC Sarah - I was wondering, how would Sarah fair in our modern era? What kind of job would she have? What kind of style and hobbies would she have? ❤
Oooh, this is an interesting question! I’ve actually been mulling over it all morning, as I’ve not really considered her outside of the canon Kuro timeline.
That being said, I approached this ask from the perspective of just dropping her into our modern era as opposed to continuing her narrative from the Victorian timeline (that would provide a very different set of answers).
As far as how she would fair, I believe Sarah would do rather well to our modern world. I’ve always seen her as being somewhat of a chameleon of sorts, always flexible and able to adapt to new surroundings and situations with short notice. Though, deep down, I believe that she would dislike the fast pace of the world around her and would often seek refuge in quieter places, whether that is a local cafe Agni owns, visiting her friends Mey-Rin and Bard at their country farm, or taking a holiday somewhere out in the more secluded areas of English countryside. She would appreciate technology, but it wouldn’t become an integral part of her life, streaming her entertainment and having a few social media accounts (which she rarely posts on) being the most involved she has become. Her friend Othello is always trying to convince her to buy and Alexa or some other smart home device, but she refuses, finding the antique housewares that furnish her and Angelina’s flat more suiting to her taste.
The type of job she would have would depend heavily on whether or not she endured something similar to the events of Italy or not. If she had experienced a similar event, she would be heavily involved in advocacy in human rights. She would probably work for an organization such as UNICEF, with a particular interest in helping those who were victims of human trafficking. This would be her day job, of course. By nights she would work with her hacker friend, Sieglinde (and also with Othello’s IT expertise), to track down and expose those in political positions who are supporting the sex slave and human trafficking trades. If she had not experienced an event like Italy, I envision her living in a more quiet area, such as Bath (something about the historic architecture appeals to her in an almost ethereal way) where she would work as an artist. She would live in a townhouse in The Circus with Angelina, along with Angelina’s girlfriend, Nina (who would be a world renowned fashion designer). She would be the one to care for the townhouse, given that Angelina’s busy schedule as a surgeon and the fact that Nina’s shows take her all around the world, sometimes months at a time, so neither one of them can be relied on to keep the home in a livable condition.
As far as her style goes, I envision it being somewhere between boho and punk. She has a leather jacket that she wears all the time, so long as weather permits it, even though it is worn and tattered in some places. It was one of the graduation presents Vincent and Rachel had given her before they died in a car crash and she can’t bear to part with it. Her style is unique and she doesn’t necessarily conform to any strict fashion rules, anything that she likes and is comfortable is added to her wardrobe. This is what I envision for her daily look...
Also, when her art muses grip her and she’s thrown into a flurry of creativity, she can be seen occasionally wandering from the bedroom Angelina and her converted into a makeshift studio to the kitchen for a light snack or some tea, her face colored with paint smudges and charcoal, sporting a comfortable style like this...
Though, with Angelina and Nina’s help, she can clean up as well and often requests their help in preparing her for her art shows. Her style is simple, but elegant. Her attire preference hinting back to a more classical era...
Her greatest hobby is her artwork, which takes up most of her creative time and energy. And she appreciates and dabbles in all styles, techniques, and mediums, though her favorite is painting and charcoal sketches. She also enjoys reading, the classics from the 1800′s being her favorite. Gardening is a new hobby she has begun dabbling in, as she enjoys how various flowers and herbs brighten the townhouse when Angelina and Nina are away. Finny, a friend who works at a local florist, has been helping her with that endeavor, even if he can be a touch too exuberant in flower selection.
And a bonus anecdotal note that you didn’t ask for, lol...much like in Wicked Game, for the longest time Sarah believed herself to be asexual. She had tried dating, going out with people of various different races, sexual orientations, and gender. Things would progress well for some time, until her partner wanted things to progress physically. She would do what she could to please her partner, even though such relations didn’t hold the same appeal to her as it did them, but she would ultimately end up ending things because she felt guilty and didn’t want her partner to feel as if she couldn’t give them what they needed. The breakups had been difficult, though some of them had ended well, Agni and Grell still dear friends. She had signed off romantic relationships in general until, one night when she Angelina, Nina, Agni, Soma, Ciel, Ronald, and Sieglinde went to a local pub to celebrate Ciel’s successful launch of a start up toy company, she had bumped into a man named Sebastian, and that all changed in an instant. (though I don’t know what you would call someone’s orientation if they are only attracted to demons, lol)
Thank you so much for this question! As you can tell I put an embarrassingly amount of consideration into this, but I can’t help myself. When someone asks me about my stories, I start answering and then WOOSH, a long dissertation later, I finally come down and realize the person I’m talking to got more information than they were bargaining for, lol. But thank you again for your question. I’m so humbled by the fact that you like Sarah and my story in general, especially since I have so much respect for your skillful writing. It honestly made my day to wake up to this question. So, at the risk of sounding like a broken record, thank you, thank you, thank you!

Looking for something fun and totally outside the (candy) box for you and your special someone to do for Valentine's Day? Something totally different and a little bit off-the-wall? Then keep reading! Most of us enjoy spooky TV shows and movies, right? We love that delicious adrenaline rush of being creeped out just a bit by thoughts of ghosts and the paranormal! If that sounds like you - and/or your special Valentine - then keep reading! Wouldn't it be big fun for you and your Valentine to spend a night (or weekend) at a haunted hotel? Just imagine what you might experience! And think of the bragging rights you'll have when recounting your ghostly adventures to family and friends! As part of my work as a psychic and medium, I have traveled extensively and stayed at some of the most interesting - and haunted - hotels in the United States. I like to stay at places that have a rich history, combined with stories about the spirits that reportedly roam throughout the properties. I have seen and heard otherworldly things that would send delicious little goose bumps up and down the spines of most people! Below is a list of some of the haunted hotels that I have enjoyed visiting and predict that you will enjoy visiting, too. New York City: The Jane Hotel - Some of the survivors of the sinking of the Titanic stayed in the building that is now the Jane Hotel in NYC's Greenwich Village. Guests report seeing ghostly apparitions and hearing the sound of sobbing . And the elevator often appears to have a mind of its own, traveling up at down between floors randomly. Guest rooms are inspired by luxury ship and train cabins and tend to be on the small side, many with shared baths. If you desire an en suite bathroom, choose to stay in one of the Captain's Cabins. Added bonus: You're in NYC! There is so much to see and do! Visit all the sites and see a Broadway show!
New York State - Catskills area: Burn Brae Mansion in Glen Spey, NY - Spectral apparitions and ghostly sounds are often heard by guests at this lovely bed and breakfast that was once the elaborate Victorian home of the widow of George Ross MacKenzie, third president of the Singer Sewing Machine Company. Other unexplained occurrences include doors opening and slamming shut; the sound of children playing; the sound of animals when no animals are present; and the sound of an organ playing, although there is no organ in the house. During my visit there, I distinctly smelled cookies baking in the downstairs area, but no one was baking cookies. Added bonus: The surrounding area is beautiful! Go for a hike, horseback riding, rafting, etc. Los Angeles, California: Millennium Biltmore Hotel - The ghost of Elizabeth Short is said to haunt the Biltmore. Ms. Short was last seen alive at the Biltmore shortly before her gruesome demise in 1947 and that still unsolved case has been dubbed "The Black Dahlia Murder." Soldiers who stayed in the building during and after World War II and young children are also said to roam around the hotel. Perhaps iconic stars from bygone Hollywood days pay post mortem visits to The Biltmore? Added bonus: Hollywood, with all its star studded sites, is close by...and so are California beaches! Atlanta, Georgia: Georgian Terrace - In December of 1939, this hotel hosted the "Gone With the Wind" Gala after the movie's premiere in downtown Atlanta. Clark Gable (and wife, Carole Lombard), Vivien Leigh (and future husband, Laurence Olivier) and other stars of the movie were in attendance. Some say that a gangland-style murder and other deaths have occurred here and there are frequent reports of ghostly activity occurring within the hotel. Added bonus: The haunted Fox Theatre is across the street from the hotel...and you're close to downtown ATL. Austin, Texas Driskill Hotel - This lavish hotel, located in downtown Austin and completed in 1882, was built by Colonel Jesse Driskill, a cattleman who spent his entire fortune to build "the finest hotel south of St. Louis." He is said to haunt the hotel, along with a little girl who fell down the grand staircase while chasing her runaway ball and two brides who allegedly took their own lives in the bathtub of room 525, exactly 20 years apart. Added bonus: There are great places to eat, drink and be merry nearby. Do your part to help "Keep Austin Weird"! Denver, Colorado Brown Palace - One of the spirits that is said to haunt the Brown Palace is a young boy, dressed in Victorian era clothing, who has been seen rifling through the luggage of hotel guests. During one of my stays there, I returned to my room to discover that little intruder looking inside my backpack that was sitting on a chair! When we saw each other, we both gasped and he instantaneously vanished, leaving me startled and wide-eyed! Added bonus: The hella haunted Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado is about an hour drive from downtown Denver. The stately hotel was the inspiration for author Stephen King's best selling novel, "The Shining," which he wrote after he and his wife were guests there. The hotel has been featured on numerous paranormal TV shows. Kansas City, Missouri area Belvoir Winery and Inn - This cozy and comfortable, yet quite elegant, 9 room bed and breakfast, with its 1,500 square feet bridal suite, is located in Liberty, Missouri on the site of a huge former Odd Fellows complex. The inn was once an orphanage, so the sights and sounds of children who once called this building their home are regularly seen and heard by Belvoir guests. Numerous television shows have filmed at the inn and on the property, including Kindred Spirits, Ghost Adventures, Ghost Hunters and American Pickers. Added bonus: Have a glass or two of Belvoir's wines or your favorite cocktail at the inn's lovely bar located on the main level. And visit George, the inn's "mascot," who just happens to be a real skeleton! New Hampshire Omni Mount Washington Hotel - Located in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, this property is simply spectacular! The most prominent spirit that is said to haunt the hotel is Princess Carolyn, former owner of the hotel, whose lovely suite is now available for guests to occupy. The hotel's dining room has a permanently set up table for Princess Carolyn in case she happens to stop in for lunch or dinner. Added bonus: Sightings of the elusive Bigfoot have been reported in the area! Soak up the gorgeous scenery! Take the cog railway to the top of Mt. Washington. Go skiing on the nearby slopes during winter months. Boston, Massachusetts Omni Parker House Hotel - Rich in history and hauntings, the Parker house is the birthplace of Boston Cream Pie and Parker House Rolls! The Kennedy family, arguably America's "royal family," often visited this hotel. It is said that future president John F. Kennedy proposed to Jacqueline Bouvier at a table in the hotel's restaurant. At one time, civil rights activist Malcolm X, Vietnamese revolutionary leader Ho Chi Minh and celebrity chef Emeril Lagasse were employees of the hotel. While staying there, I was confused when I encountered the spirit of John Wilkes Booth, the man who assassinated President Abraham Lincoln. My encounter finally made sense when the hotel's historian told me that Booth had frequently stayed at the hotel and had even practiced firing his gun nearby. Added bonus: Granary Burying Ground (cemetery), final resting place of numerous Revolutionary War patriots, including Paul Revere, Samuel Adams and John Hancock, is nearby Tampa, Florida area The Don Cesar - Affectionately known as "The Pink Palace" and located in St. Pete Beach, not far from Tampa on Florida's west coast, this hotel, like others on my list, is said to be haunted by its original owner. Wealthy New Englander Thomas Rowe built the hotel in 1925 in remembrance of his unrequited love for a lovely Spanish opera singer. The star crossed lovers are said to haunt "The Don," as are members of the New York Yankees baseball team, including Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig, due to the fact members of the team once stayed at the hotel during spring training. Other reported spectral guests include gangster Al Capone and World War II era soldiers who may have stayed (and died) there while the building was being used as a convalescent hospital for aviators and pilots. Added bonus: The hotel has a lovely Gulf of Mexico beach. San Francisco, California Queen Anne Hotel - A charming Victorian era boutique hotel located in the Pacific Heights neighborhood. Both the public areas and guests rooms are furnished in an eclectic style. The hotel was once an exclusive boarding school for young ladies, as well as a brothel that housed "ladies of the night." The headmistress of the girl's school, Miss Mary Lake, reportedly haunts the hotel, sometimes unpacking suitcases, tucking guests in at night and singing to them while they fall asleep. The most haunted room is said to be room 410, which was once Miss Mary Lake's office. Voodoo queen Mary Ellen Pleasant lived across the street from the hotel in the 1800's and it is thought that perhaps her spirit also roams the halls of the Queen Anne. Added bonus: Enjoy all that The Golden Gate City has to offer! Ride a cable car; eat some great seafood at a waterfront restaurant; visit Fisherman's Wharf and the spectacular Palace of Fine Arts, built for the 1915 World's Fair. Portland, Oregon The Benson - A world class luxury hotel that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Built by Simon Benson and opening its doors in 1913, it is believed that Mr. Benson is the primary spirit who haunts the hotel. He is frequently seen on the grand staircase, in the hotel bar and dining room, and on the 7th, 9th and 12th floors of the hotel. A small and mischievous little boy, whom people assume is the ghost of one of Benson's sons, often appears and plays pranks on hotel guests. The ghost of a former porter who worked at The Benson is also sometimes seems, as well as the spectral images of a lady in white (doesn't every haunted property have a lady in white? LOL) and a lady in blue. Added bonus: Take a trip to see the nearby and spectacularly beautiful Columbia River Gorge and Multnomah Falls! New Orleans, Louisiana Bourbon Orleans Hotel - Once the location of the Sisters of the Holy Family's convent, girl's school, medical ward and orphanage, the Bourbon Orleans is reportedly haunted by the spirits of those who resided there during that earlier time. A Confederate soldier has also been seen at the hotel, as well as a lonely ghost dancer, seen dancing solo in the hotel's ballroom. The 3rd and 6th floors are said to be some of the most haunted areas. Added bonus: Laissez les bon temps rouler and enjoy all of the delicious and decadent delights that The Big Easy readily serves up! Savannah, Georgia East Bay Inn - This stately old building was built in the mid-1800's and once housed the offices of cotton merchants, as well as warehouses for cotton. In the mid-1980's, the property opened as a charming inn with 28 guest rooms. The rooms are spacious, with wooden floors, exposed brick establishing walls and high ceilings. A friendly ghost named Charley, a former worker in the building, allegedly haunts the inn. It is claimed that he is heard walking the halls late and night and sometimes will jiggle the doorknobs. Witnesses have said that lights flicker and some of their personal belongings mysteriously disappear. Room 325, known as "Charley's Room," is said to be the most haunted. Added bonus: Is there really anyplace in Savannah that isn't haunted? Visit them all! Walk along River Street. Take a ride on the riverboat. Put on your walking shoes and visit Savannah's numerous squares. And don't miss a visit to the magnificently beautiful Bonaventure Cemetery. San Antonio, Texas The Menger Hotel - The land on which the Menger sits is part of the historic site of the Battle of the Alamo. It is said that between 32 and 45 ghosts haunt the Menger. (Who came up with that number?!?) Among those ghosts are Teddy Roosevelt; Sallie White, a former chambermaid at the hotel who was shot nearby by her common law husband and died on the hotel's 2nd floor; and Richard King, a cattle baron who often stayed at the Menger and died in his suite on the 3rd floor. If you are brave enough, you can stay in the King Ranch Suite where Richard King died and sleep in the same bed where he took his last breath! Added bonus: Visit The Alamo. Walk along the River Walk. Dine in some of San Antonio's fabulous eateries. San Diego, California (Coronado Island) Hotel del Coronado - The elegant hotel, located on Coronado Island, has a resident ghost named Kate Morgan. Kate was a guest at the hotel in 1892 and killed herself with a gun a few days after an ugly break-up with her male lover. Guests at the hotel have reported seeing Kate's ghost walking in the hallways and along the hotel's lovely beach. During my visits to the hotel, I always hope to encounter the spirit of Marilyn Monroe, who shot the film, "Some Like It Hot," on the property back in 1958. Added bonus: While in the San Diego area, pay a visit to the haunted Whaley House in Old Town San Diego, where you can also shop at some of the area's charming stores. Washington, DC Hay-Adams Hotel - Washington socialite Marian Adams, known by the nickname Clover, reportedly haunts the Hay-Adams. Clover was an amateur photographer who died after ingesting some of the potassium cyanide that she used while developing her photographs. Her death was ruled a suicide, but some believed that she had been murdered. The ghost of Clover Adams haunts the hotel's 4th floor. Maids have told stories of hearing a woman sobbing, calling out their names and asking "What do you want?" in unoccupied rooms. Some guests say that visits by Clover's spirit are accompanied by the scent of almonds. Potassium cyanide, which caused Clover's death, is extracted from almonds! Added bonus: Visit the many beautiful monuments in DC, as well as The Smithsonian and nearby Arlington Cemetery.

This wonderful 1898 Victorian in Clio, South Carolina is a 7th Sister style Queen Anne- It’s one of a number of popular Victorian architectural styles that emerged in the United States during the period from roughly 1880 to 1910. $289K!
The entire home is handcrafted with beadboard and mahogany walls & ceilings- my all-time favorite kind of Victorian. Isn’t this stunning?
I just love this. There’s a door in the sitting room to access that big wraparound porch. Look at the workmanship on the fireplace.
I think that this is the dining room, b/c it’s right off the kitchen.
Not only is the kitchen huge, but it also has a full fireplace.
The rooms in this home are huge.
More than likely this is the main bdrm.
The main bdrm’s en suite is fully modernized.
I like this bdrm. & bath, though.
The stairs go up to the attic.
Where there’re 2 more finished bdrms. and a small bath.

Sunkissed (Ernest x Hayley)
A/N: It’s 5 am, I’m listening to slowed down versions of different songs and next thing I remember, I have been writing since I finished dinner at 11pm and here I am, finishing my third piece. I’m truly thriving, huh?
Summary: It’s been 490 years since the Sinclaires and Foredales are friends, but when the youngest members of the family find themselves in one of the hottest cities in the world, everything and nothing can happen
Rating: T, kissing is a bit steamy
Word Count: 1688
25th of July, 2015
It was a sunny day in Buenos Aires. The sun was shining, the air was hot and everyone was running around, enjoying the Argentinian ambiance. The Foredales and Sinclaires have agreed to make a trip together to celebrate their friendship. Its been 490 years since the Sinclaires became friends of the Foredales and they wanted a great trip together. Hayley suggested Buenos Aires, and everyone agreed it was the perfect place to go. Hot, fancy and active.
Hayley gazed to the streets through her sunglasses as her father and brother fanned themselves. They weren’t used to this weather and her grandmother retired for the day to rest the 12-hour flight. Hayley was in black shorts that kissed just two fingers after her buttcheeks and a black top that was just a finger above her belly button. The Sinclaires looked suffocated as she saw one of her favorite bars in the whole world and smiled
“Everyone, follow me!”
She saw how Ernest was staring at her, his gaze shy. She winked at him, causing his ears flush pink.
The bar prayed “La Gozadera” as she sat down and ordered some food that everyone would love.
“So, Hayley” Mrs. Sinclaire asked “how many times have you been here already?”
“Six, ma’am”
“That’s wonderful! You must know all of Buenos Aires at this point”
“I wouldn’t say all, just the most thrilling spots. The inn where we are staying is finally like a third home to me and it was too for my mother”
“For what I’ve seen in the photos, it seems lovely!”
“Wait until you finally see it” She smirked.
Everyone was in awe when they saw the inn where they’d be staying. It had three floors, a roof and some lovely gardens accompanied by some chairs and desks to do practically anything.
“There you see the balconies, which leads to the church, then the garden-bar where the Wi-Fi works the best and the roof haves a pool, some gardens and the lifeguard’s cabinet. Your most precious belongings will have to be given to the innkeepers so it avoids thefts. They’re a lovely Brazilian couple that will attend even the stupidest request. Now, have fun! I’ve got an errand to run in town” Hayley commented before giving her father instructions and the money and paperwork of the reservation and the payments, where it included all: breakfast given in the room, the two first nights the dinner was free and maids and grooms that would clean the rooms when they were gone and the promise of discretion and No-Bothering-The-Client privilege.
Ernest Sinclaire gazed to his own room, all for himself. It was spacious, with a blue velvet sheet and Victorian décor with sights to a lovely park with children and the smell of the sea. It had a settee, a small sofa and a well-hidden fridge for the food he snuck in. It also had a bathroom with an hydro-massage bath and a small, cozy wooden shower and even a bidet!
Hayley Parker had an exquisite taste when choosing rooms, indeed.
He lay down as he fished his copy of Pride and Prejudice and opened the page where he left it and started reading, melting in the soft, elastic bed.
Knock knock
“Come in!”
“Hayley, sweetheart, you wanna join us at breakfast?” Vincent asked to his daughter
“Sure! Let me put something cozy”
He closed the door as she jumped off the bed to grab some short jeans, a stripped top and made herself some quick braids and fixed her face with a soft lipstick and mascara and went downstairs. She greeted everyone as they dig in the food.
Short after, they all went exploring, which made Hayley be the tour guide. They saw the Obelisco and all those places they requested to see. They all decided to chill in the beach and Hayley decided to read The Maze Runner while everyone tried the Argentinian waters. She got a call and picked it
“¿Sí?”
“Señora, lo tenemos todo listo. Esta noche la piscina será para ustedes”
“Gracias, Fermín. Me has sido de gran ayuda”
She hung up and looked at Ernest who was in a tennis game with her father. She bit her lip as she gazed at him. She has been waiting for long to snag him… he did hint her on their encounters he was very interested in her and he was always looking at her lips… it was now or never.
She approached them both as the match seemed to end with Ernest as a victor. Her father saw the look on her and decided to leave them. She placed a hand on his milky skin and got on her tiptoes to whisper to him “Meet me in the roof tonight after dinnertime. And don’t be late”
She touched with her finger his neck and smirked when he shuddered and left the spot swaying her hips to provoke him a good effect on her. She could notice how he was staring at her as she sat on her chair again, smirking at him.
“Well, I think I’m stuffed. If you all excuse me, I’ll go to bed. I’ll leave you kids to enjoy the night”
“But I’m not—” Lydia commented, but Vincent elbowed her and raised an eyebrow before she realized what her dear friend was trying to say and faked a yawn “He’s right. I’ll go to bed and don’t bother anyone at all. Night!”
They both disappeared as they glanced to their children, a knowing smile on their faces before Ernest cleared his throat
“That was embarrassing”
“What did you expected? They’re parents. Their speciality is to embarrass us” She smirked as she whispered to him in Spanish “Sígueme”
She walked away of the restaurant, gazing at him with a devilish smirk as she went upstairs and upstairs, the ancient architecture leaving Ernest impressed. She reached the end of the stairs and with one teaseful finger, she commanded him to follow her. She crossed the lifeguard cabinet, that was shockingly empty and stopped to lean in one column coolly, a seductive arm lingering in the wall. A seductive melody was sounding faintly as he saw a towel spreaded at the edge of the pool. She turned to look at him and asked
“Well?”
“This is… certainly cozy, but what are you planning?”
“This”
She dropped her shorts with such ceremony as Ernest’s breath catched. She rolled her top over, revealing a red, fancy trikini that accentuated her shape just right. Ernest has seen hints of how she’d look in such a cloth, but this was different. His pulse quickened as he felt hot under the collar, her olive skin shining in the moonlight. She was divine, a vision, a breathtaking woman, standing there with lustful eyes “Desvístete or lo hare yo misma” She demanded
Get your clothes off or I’ll do it myself
He rolled up his shirt and short jeans, standing in his gray bath cloth and she smirked as she approached him, her tongue running over her tempting lips. Her finger with an elegant manicure ran over his muscled chest, making his breath pitch and shudder and she looked at him with a smirk “Take a bath with me”
She turned around and sat down to then submerge in the water, swimming in it. He followed suit and swam with her, showing off his skills to give her something to be impressed. And she seemed to be impressed.
She approached him as he stood still, his pulse quickening. She ran a finger over his hair as she started talking
“I think it’s not a secret that I like you, Ernest. All those dates, the secret touches… today I want to ask you if you feel the same and want to level up or I should back off”
“I like you too… and I want to take my time with you. Get to know you, the real you. You have captivated my interest and I’m always looking forward to see you”
“And touch me? Kiss me, mayhaps?”
His eyes went wide as he sputtered before clearing his throat
“I’m not denying it… I just want to do it when you want to, because it’s what you desire…”
The she grabbed his waist and broaded shoulders, her gaze a few inches away from him
“Then kiss me, Ernest. Do not hold back” She purred as she approached her lips to his.
He grabbed her waist and kissed her slowly and sensually, their mouths and tongues dancing a slow tango, her hands in his hair and his in her waist, pressing his palms to her. She jumped and circled her legs around him, which made him moan softly. It was truly happening. He was kissing Hayley Parker, a woman who seemed so out of his league… He moved to nip at her neck and collarbone, making her sigh in delight.
She pulled him gently against the wall as she kissed him again, her hands on the borders of the pool, feeling her exposed body against his, only the wet clothes between them, their imaginations broading further, their pulses both quickening and breaths coming ragged. She dipped her head to kiss his neck, begging her closer as he moaned in delight.
“The times I’ve dreamt to do that”
“Me too”
They both panted before she disentangled herself from him and bit her lip
“As much as I enjoy your hands all over my body… for now, I enjoy this. But soon…” She gazed down to him, biting her lip as he nodded in understanding
“If that’s what you want…”
“It is”
They both got out of the pool and put some towels on as they enjoyed a fantastic meal and she smiled at him.
“I heard whispers of what a good kisser you are but this… is different. And I like different”
“You have exceeded my expectations too”
She raised her brandy “I’ll drink to that”
They both clinked their glasses as they shared a brief kiss as the moonlight reflected the couple, sharing a magical Argentinian night.

Daddy-Daughter Duty
(Giphy)
Have some fluff.
P.S. This tortured hottie should have smiled more in the movie. Simply for fact that it’s impossible to find even a slightly joyous gif to use for fiction as such. Good enough reason, right?
Another Saturday morning with a toe nearly jammed into the cavity of your ear, and very little hours of restless sleep the night before. You stressed and insisted to Tommy that it was crucial you train Ella to her own bed just one door down the hall, but the big brute just didn’t have it in him to turn his only baby girl away.
Since her very strained birth, Tommy’s hand hasn’t left that little girls’ side. She was making trips to the gym with him at 2 months old just because he couldn’t bare to leave the house without her, despite his desperate need to train for an upcoming match. He’d caudle and swear he was only taking her along so you could finally steal a nap. But, all parties involved knew it all stemmed from his swelling heart, bursting with fatherly pride. Not that you’d complain for a second at the dutiful way he took care of his little family for a single second. But these days, you needed a few hours alone with your always handsome husband.
“Tommy, honey. Tommy. Hey, you awake?” You whispered across the span of your crowded bed, praying not to wake the snoring little girl between the pair of you.
His lips pouted and bubbled in sleep, just like the tinier set nuzzled into the feather pillow in the middle of your bed. God help you, the child was more beautiful than a 3-year-old need be, and with Tommy’s genes, how could you be surprised? Finally, with a tickle to his hear, your slumbering man roused. Shaking and twitching at the strange alarm clock.
“Sneak down for a cup of coffee with me in the kitchen before she wakes up?” You proposed. You’d get your kicks where you could, no matter how small, with a very active toddler roaming the house 24/7.
The idea suited him evidently, said his lazy, yawning smile. He carefully took a grunting stretch and sank one foot to the floor mindful not to wake Ella, but all for naught.
She puckered a lip, squinting her wrinkly, sleepy eyelids tighter, and latched on to Tommy’s wide, shirtless back like a needy chimpanzee. He was trapped now, and she would hold on for dear life if he tried to so much as wriggle free from her tiny little clenches. Tommy looked to you, his eyes full of internal warfare, silently apologizing for the inconvenience. The little angel was truly a wonderful child, and gave you no real trouble whatsoever. But, her deep-rooted cling to her father was becoming a bit inopportune.
Ella adored you, you were her mother for God sakes. The woman who shared her lipstick, and let you brush her hair and tie lots of bows in it. But, there was no denying the infatuation she had with the only man in her life. She wanted Tommy to feed her, Tommy to play dolls with her, Tommy to help brush her teeth twice a day. And as a matter of fact, the hellion refused to go to bed at night unless Tommy was following up the stairs to retreat in sleep behind her. It was sickeningly adorable, and you couldn’t blame the precious girl for being so in love with him, because you sincerely felt the exact way. But, she was becoming a tad snarky, and a bit defensive towards you when you tried to step into a kiss with Tommy in the mornings, or laughed hysterically in the kitchen alone with him as she sat on the living room rug watching her cartoons before bed. Ella and her “terrible three’s” were struggling painfully with the concept of sharing. Especially when it came to her daddy.
“She’s got to sleep in her own room tonight, Tommy. This can’t keep up! We’ll never get her through the doors of preschool if she doesn’t learn to part ways from you soon. We’ll have a talk with her before bedtime. Deal?”
……
You spent the day prepping the little princess’ room for her first solo sleeping night. The tiny Victorian, canopy bed had never been slept in, and the frill of her rosy pink comforter was still crisp from the package. You left she and Tommy alone at the park after a picnic so you could make a shopping run and gather some extra special last-minute touches. A nightlight shaped like a bright yellow star, a fluffy white bunny nearly triple the size of her to snuggle up next to, and a very specific doll she had begged for since seeing its advertisement on television. That was only if she made it successfully through the entire night in her own pink bedroom.
When your family of three returned home after a day of playgrounds, ice cream, and feeding the ducks, Ella was sticky with sugar and in desperate need of a bath. She requested bubbles, and you accommodated filling the tub to its rim with bubblegum scented suds. Tommy manned the grill while you bathed the chipper tot, allowing her to give you her famous soapsuds beard. She hysterically snorted and caught a case of the hiccups from her incontrollable laughter. While you were drying her off, and combing through her tangled, chocolate hair, she squeezed her soft little paws to your face and thanked you for her playday at the park. Her ‘I love you’ kisses were your greatest fulfillment.
The three of you grubbed on the healthy, summertime dinner at the kitchen table, and Ella caught lightening bugs with the neighbor girl across the street while Tommy held you on the porch swing as you warmed yourself with a buzzing glass of Chardonnay. She appeared to have used every fiber of bouncing energy throughout the day, so you prayed maybe she wouldn’t have much fight left in her to oppose parting ways with your bed, and crawling into her own.
She climbed the stairs with her favorite sippy cup, and took a familiar left down the hall towards her parents room for some shut eye.
“Ella, baby. Come with mommy. I have a surprise for you!” You scooped her up, kissing her damp hair smelling of ripe strawberries. Tommy was locking up, and flicking off light switches as he made his way behind his girls.
When you stepped through the opened door, her already vivid eyes twinkled all the more at the sight of her new furry friend resting under her turned down sheets. The nightlight was plugged next to the seat of her windowsill, and the fluorescent glow of her little fish tank lit up the bedside table.
“Baby, why don’t you let me handle this one?” Tommy kneaded into the small of your back, kissing the back of your head where the loose braid rested.
You placed Ella’s feet to the floor, and she ran directly for the rabbit tucked into her railed bed. Your husband yanked onto your arm as you passed him in exit so he could snatch a wet kiss. You stood only just outside the door, one thin wall separating you, so you were able to listen in.
“Daddy, oh daddy! Wook, my doodness! Wook at this cute ‘ittle wabbit!”
Tommy ran to her side, seating to the floor with his legs crossed beneath him. She climbed one foot in front of the other upon the bed, trying to wrap her tiny grasp around the stuffed animals neck.
“So cool, bug! What should we name him?” Tommy asked the young one.
“Elsa!” She yelped without hesitation. Everything in your life these days revolved around the particular famous princess.
“That’s perfect! You know what, Elsa looks comfy up there in your bed. Climb up next to her, baby!”
Her innocent, unsuspecting mind did just as she was told, and you heard the squeaks of the mattress when she floundered around to slide into the covers. An airy yawn followed, along with the sloshing of her lidded cup as she took a gulp.
“Seepy, daddy. Go bed?”
It was all too good to be true. Just as promptly as she had seemingly settled herself next to the newly crowned Elsa rabbit, she was crawling back to the floor in retreat to her usual sleep site.
“But, Ella Bella! You can’t leave Elsa all alone. She needs you to cuddle her tonight.” Tommy was so slick, even with white lies to his almost 4-year-old.
Your intelligent, quick-witted daughter agreed, so she simply grabs the fluffy companion by the arm and drags it toward the door, her little gown crooked around her neck.
“No, no, no. Elsa likes your room. She told daddy she likes it much better here than mine and mommas’ bed. You’ll sleep with her tonight, okay? Climb up and get under, sweetheart.” He fluffed the covers, raising up the warm blankets.
“Daddy in.” Ella demanded pulling on the collar of his gray t-shirt. The rattle of her raspy little tone gave away she was swiftly connecting the dots of this ploy, and tears waited in the wings.
“Daddy has to sleep with mommy, Ella. She gets sad without daddy! I have to give her bedtime hugs all night, just like you have to do the same with Elsa. It’s our job to love our friends, baby.”
You wanted to burst in and latch around the man and his broad shoulders. Tommy Conlon was a story book father. He may all too much enjoy the feel of someone’s nose shattering under his fist in the cage, but fatherhood was one aspect of life that he took to so… ordinarily. You knew he’d be a responsible supplier of needs, and certainly love the child you birthed, but his role went far beyond. Tommy was meant to be the daddy to a daughter, no doubt in your mind.
Ella sniffled, and you peeked stealthily around the corner to survey the room. Her little eyes drooped as a tear tickled her round cheek.
“I’ll just be down the hall, pumpkin. Mommy and I will see you first thing in the morning, and I bet she’ll let us have Cheerios, too!”
He cleaned the wetness from her face, brushing some wild curls behind her ears. His substantially sized mitt could’ve palmed her whole tiny head like a basketball. Ella blinked as if her poor eyelids were just impossible to hold open, and you could tell she wasn’t in full understanding of all Tommy was explaining to her. But nonetheless, she laid her head to the pillow, offering up her drink of water to him. Her weak little fist was massaging on the floppy ear of the bunny when Tommy finally stood up to neatly tuck her in properly.
“I love you, champ. Sleep tight.” He kissed her forehead, and his full lashes swept over her forehead.
“Goodnight, angel. Mommy loves you.” You blew a kiss to her from the doorway, shutting off the light, but her restless eyes had already sealed.
Leaving the door open, you reached for Tommy’s hand when he kidnapped you into an embrace with his arm curved over your shoulders. The pair of you watched wordlessly from the darkness of the hallway, appreciating the sleeping beauty calm in her own bed.
“Now, I believe that very empty bed is calling our names, momma. And most definitely, not for sleep.” Tommy dipped his hand into the waist of your pants, palming your backside.
“Finally, it’s mommy’s’ turn for some bonding with daddy.”

MUN QUESTIONS.
Q1 : If you could write your character your way in their own movie, what would it be called, what style would it be filmed in, and what would it be about?
A1 : Some sort of period piece. Likely a horror movie, given his profession.
Q2 : What would their soundtrack/score sound like?
A2 : Something dark and moody, full of regret but also with just a bit of hope mixed in.
Q3 : Why did you start writing this character?
A3 : I fell in love with both Ishgard and the idea of making a snarky, (relatively) older character, someone driven by a sense of guilt turned into purpose. And the whole wandering hunter thing is cool, even if he’s settled down more these days.
Q4 : What first attracted you to this character?
A4 : I wanted to do something different from my usual nerds, and snarky grumps are fun.
Q5 : Describe the biggest thing you dislike about your muse.
A5 : It can be hard to balance making him just the right level of grumpy. Sometimes he ends up coming off a bit too nice because I OOCly don’t want to start a conflict.
Q6 : What do you have in common with your muse?
A6 : We are both introverts to the extreme.
Q7 : How does your muse feel about you?
A7 : I am a rather sadistic god.
Q8 : What characters does your muse have interesting interactions with ?
A8 : Ahhh there’s too many to list. Solenne, of course. Michaux too, even if they aren’t really getting along atm. Lebeaux is always interesting, if antagonistic. Rashk. Synn. Lux. Bellamy (gods we need to do more stuff). And Idris and Cailan need their own buddy cop movie.
Q9 : What gives you inspiration to write your muse ?
A9 : Music, mainly. Podcasts.
Q10 : How long did this take you to complete ?
A10 : Too long! Fuck you and your drafts not saving tumblr
