Crosshair groaned, trying to move. His helmet had gotten twisted, the visor angle wrong. He couldn’t see. Panic arced through him. Where was he?
His left hand twitched, fingers spasming, his glove smearing something sticky. Something heavy slumped against him, something familiar, someone. Hunter. He was breathing, wasn’t he?
But he couldn’t move. Couldn’t get up to keep fighting, couldn’t hardly breathe. Maybe he could shoot —
You should be more careful —
He froze. Strained, trying to move his right hand, searching for his blaster. Tried to move his hand —
No, no, no —
The boot on his arm, his whole body shaking, the hum of a vibrosword —
You should be more careful with your shooting hand.
A scream tearing his throat, the taste of blood, darkness —
He panted, trying to reach his right hand with his left, but he couldn’t feel it, could only feel a shrieking, stabbing pain — an absence —
“This one’s moving.”
“Stun him again. And clean up that blood. Hemlock wants them fully prepared for conditioning.”
No —
(We’re not talking enough about this moment and it’s killing me ;_; References below the cut. More musings on this here.)

Pairings: Hunter x Fem! Reader
Summary: you and hunter had a one night stand, and he left you with a child because of it. You never told him, but when you went back to bounty work you ran into each other, and eventually you told him... how will he react?
Warnings: Canon violence, fluff
Word count: 3,265
You had no idea how long you had actually worked for Cid in the past, you weren't contracted but she did give you some exhilarating and high paying jobs. during the clone wars the senate actually gave you most of your bounties, and you would consider yourself a republic bounty hunter, though you held no allegiance to them and that also made you dangerous. But at the end of the clone wars, maybe a month or so later you had to drop from existence on a little backwater planet called Pabu. It was a nice little place, and it was your permanent home, until you had to leave for jobs again… but the only reason you disappeared was because you were pregnant from a one night stand. The other party had no idea, and even if you could reach out, you wouldn't. He didn't need to know, but you remember him vividly.
Tall, tanned And muscular. He had a hard body tattoo resembling a skull, and the skeleton as it traveled down his body. He wore a red bandana, and kriff knows he never took it off… unless it was to tie your hands behind your back but regardless that was one time, the first and the last… and then he left you with a child, the bastard.
So it had been a full 6 months since you had your child, and with all the support you had on pabu you were able to go back to work, knowing your child was safe.
So, you stood in front of Cids parlor, your helmet fastened to your head, having donned your classic armor previously. Nobody knew this but you had Mandalorian lineage, so certain pieces of armor were made if beskar But were formed and painted in a way to make it look nothing like beskar.
Regardless, you were back, and your looks alone sparked fear into those who walked past you. Your mask was not necessarily a helmet, because the back of your hair which was put into a long braid that draped over your shoulder could be seen. But you had two metal bands that were fastened to each side of your temple, and upper cheek, which was strongly magnetized to the mask, which had a voice mod to hide your voice, and was also connected to a small oxygen tank that was clipped to your small backpack, and attached to that was your long ranged rifle, and vibrosword.
You had two blasters in each holster that was strapped to both your thighs, and a few throwing knives were also attached to one other holster, whilst you had a few knives tucked in your boot, or in a hidden holster under your armor plating, and even in your braided hair.
Your armor itself was painted a deep blue with black accents and very faded and worn gold lines in the dips and crevices of your armor, however the thicker Long sleeved undershirt you wore underneath was a dirty cream color, and your pants were a deep brown.
You patted yourself down quickly, nodding to yourself when you recounted everything you had before walking into Cids parlor.
The Bad batch, that is to say Hunter, Wrecker, Tech and omega since Echo was off with Rex, and Crosshair was working for the Empire, were sitting At their usual table, wrecker and omega chowing down on some Mantel mix. Hunter was the first to notice Joe silent the bar suddenly got, but Texh and the others were not to far behind as their attention went to a stranger who walked in, a bounty hunter by the looks of it. To Hunter though, there was a sense and smell of familiarity, and he furrowed his eyebrows watching you walk to Cids office, the door automatics closing behind you. Hunter turned to look at Tech, who also had furrowed eyebrows.
“Why does that Bounty hunter seem so familiar to us?” He asked, typing on his data pad, searching for any info on this bounty hunter. Hunger shook his head, running a hand through his hair. “Not sure…” He trailed off, staring at the door for a few seconds until Tech grabbed his attention by showing him the data pad. “It is Y/n L/n, AKA Cicatrix, she was a very famous bounty hunter for the republic during th-”
“-I know Tech, We've worked with her before, before the empire…” He trailed off, memories resurfacing in his mind, memories he pushed down because he got too attached.
In the meantime, you were talking with Cid, your helmet was off, and now attached to your left hip were similar magnets were sewn into your clothing to hold your mask, and you were getting the best pick of the bounties and jobs… until Cid spoke up.
“Yeah one thing Trixie-”
“-Its Cicatrix” You interrupted, and Cid cleared her throat. “Right, one thing, in order to do this big jobs your going to have to work with a few other people, a group I like to work with… The Bad Batch.” She explained, and you narrowed your eyes, gripping the fobs in your right hand. “The bad batch huh?” You sneered at Cid, before grabbing the fobs. “Fine.” You muttered, fastening your mask to your face once more, and Cid led you out of the office, and towards the bad batch.
Your eyes scanned over each of them, some familiar, most of them were except for one… however when your eyes landed on that man… the one with the half skull tattoo on his face, you wanted to turn and run… However, you stayed put as Cid started speaking some nonsense that you couldn't really bother to listen to, because even through your mask he seemed to know where your eyes were, and he wouldn't let your stare go… that was until you felt someone tug at your shirt.
You quickly looked down, seeing the small blonde child smiling up at you. “Hi! I'm Omega, and these are my brothers, Hunter, Tech, and Wrecker! We've read all about you- well at least I have on Kamino, But your so cool! I read one story about you where you and a Jedi were on a mission and you got separated! And a Rancor came out of nowhere and you wrestled it till you killed it- and-” omega was quickly cut off as Hunter rested a hand on her shoulder. “Omega..” he muttered softly, silently telling her to calm down
You chuckled, thinking back to your own child on Pabu before you knelt down in front of her, and took your mask off, clipping it to your thigh once more. You smiled at omega, and pointed to a big scar on your face. “I didn't get out unscathed that's for sure, the rancor gave me a big scar, And I had to get a new eye, luckily for me I had the credits and the connections so now I have a cybernetic Eye, and I can scan my surroundings for infrared signatures, like other people or animals when it's dark out. It's pretty cool.” You explained, winking at her as your cybernetic right eye flashed blue before settling to your eye colour again. Omega squealed in excitement, turning to her brother, Hunter.
You stood up, glancing at him as he stared at you, before standing up. “We can work together, just like old times.” He muttered the last bit, but you heard him clearly, and you couldn't help but roll your eyes. “I'll leave my ship here, and come with you on yours. You stated, resting your hands on your hips as you took a step back, nodding to Cid. “You owe me a solo.” You stated, before walking to the parlor doors. “Let's get a move on, we only have so much time.” You stated, walking outside as the batch gathered their things.
Once all outside, you started walking with them, omega mainly at your side, asking you questions about your old stories, and your weapons… however as you answered, you noticed the crossbow on her back, and it piqued your interest. “Is that an energy bow?” You asked, and she smiled and nodded. “Yeah it is! Though I'm still learning how to use it.” She huffed, and a soft chuckle left your lips. “Well I could teach you? In my youth I was quite the bow slinger myself.” You stated proudly, seeing how her eyes lit up. She immediately turned to Hunter, who was walking behind you.
“Can She teach me after the mission? Please?” She asked her brother, who stopped walking when she did. You stopped as well, turning to look at him with your arms crossed over your armored chest, a smug look over your face. Hunter gave you a look which you weren't quite sure what it meant, before he looked at omega and sighed. “Fine. I suppose some training can be useful.” He stated, and she cheered before running to the Marauder, grabbing your hand and dragging you with her so she could show you around. You laughed with her, the same hearty laugh that Hunter heard all those months ago…
He sighed, and entered the ship, closing the ramp behind him before making his way to his seat in the cockpit where Tech already was.
Tech glanced over at Hunter, but stared right at his data pad while he spoke. “You should talk to her, statistics show that being honest yields better results then not saying anything at all.” He stated, adjusting his goggles. Hunter grunted in response, glancing back at you and omega as she showed you around. “Maybe…” He trailed off, his eyes trailing down your figure. You were muscular, and fit unlike most women he had been with, however you were a bit softer then the last time he was with you… like something had changed you…
Eventually omega brought you to the cockpit just as you were taking off, and you quickly handed the main tracking fob to Hunter, your clothed finger tips brushing against each other as you handed off the fob. A spark shot through your spine, And you quickly cleared your throat and placed your hand on the back of the chair instead of by your side. “Its on a pretty heavy imperialized planet, so we have to be cautious when retrieving the goods. I did some more research and found a map of one of the facilities it's in… though I do have an idea on how we could stealth this, instead of going in guns blazing.” You suggested, staring at Tech as they both looked at you.
“There are rounds of patrols, two or three troopers at a time. And they circle around this mountain pass-” you explain while pulling out a holo map, pointing your finger at the red dot that indicates the patrol, and then the mountain
“If we land around here, a small group, most likely Hunter or Tech and myself can take out the patrol and switch out our armor for theirs. We put our gear in this little alcove in the mountain, and whoever is left behind can come pick it up so it's safe. Anyway, we complete the “patrol” and get back to the facility, getting in like we were one of them. I can use my tools to get into the control room, where we knock out the guards and then take the data, and get out the same way we got in when the next patrol is about to leave, we tail them, take em out and go.” You explained thoroughly, and Tech hummed at the plan.
“That is… one of the best plans I've ever heard. Hunter? What do you think?” Tech asked, and you glanced over at Hunter, noticing that he was staring at you already, a very small smile curled on his lips. “Very good, I'll go with Cicatrix then Tech and omega can pick up our armor and get back to the ship and be on standby in case anything goes wrong.” He stated, and gestured For you to sit down as they were about to drop pit of hyperspace. You did, sitting down behind Tech and across from Hunter.
Soon enough you were docked at the area you pointed out, it was a secluded little landing area, hidden by the mountain, but it gave you easy access to the patrol route. So once landed, you and Hunter headed out Towards the patrol, staying closer to the mountain side and in the shadows, so you weren't seen. You and Hunter rounded the corner just as a patrol did, and before you could even think of what to do, Hunter pushed you into what seemed to be a larger alcove, but one that could hide you both. However it was a tight space, and you were pressed up against each other… at least the armor made it so you couldn't feel his warmth, except from the hands that now found purchase on your lower ribs. And you could feel that warmth radiating from him. You sucked in a sharp breath through your nose, not looking at him, and instead watching the patrol of two as it walked by. And once they were out of sight you nodded. “Okay let's go” you whispered, and Hunter quickly tore his hands away, and left the alcove, and you followed after, sneaking up behind the troopers before taking them out. You stripped from your armor before donning the troopers armor, making sure your armor was in a neat little stack before placing it in the alcove you were just in. And finally you placed the helmet on your head, but not before tucking your braid up, as if not to give your gender away.
You turned back to Hunter, and he was already done with his outfit change. He nodded to you, and you both made the trek back to the facility. You had completely missed the warmth in his eyes when he had shoved you in the alcove, the contemplation on his face as he was torn between forgetting what he felt, and actually telling you what he wanted to say. You never saw it, and he never knew when he'd actually tell you, and now he wondered if he'd even see you again after this mission was over…
Regardless you arrived at the facility and got in unnoticed. This place seemed less guarded then what you would have expected, and you raised your guard, just in case. Hunter took the lead from then on, leading you to the control room where he stood look out as you started splicing the control panel by the door to open it up. You were going quickly as you could, and you managed to open the door within seconds.
You and hunter walked in, and you closed the door behind you before taking out the guards and workers stationed in this room, leaving it empty and easier to work with.
You quickly sat down at one of the terminals, feeling Hunters presence behind you as you slid a data stick into the computer port, hacking into the network that the imperials used with ease since it was the same Tech used by the republic, and you hacked into the republic networks a lot. Just for security…
Regardless you downloaded the info and pulled it out of the port, standing up and turning to Hunter, tucking the data stick into his belt. you walked to the door, poking your head out to see if it was clear, and you nodded to Hunter, walking out side by side, passing another patrol group, pretending you just got back from your patrol. The plan was working, and you couldn't stop the grin growing underneath the helmet you wore.
This might have been the smoothest mission you've ever been on-
“Hey! Patrolman! wait up.” A voice commanded, and you and Hunter froze before turning around, one of the clone commandos standing in front of you. “You finished your patrol quickly, and you didn't input your report.” He stated, and you sucked In a deep breath, looking at hunter. He quickly spoke up. “Right, apologies sir, we will do that right away.” He stated, saluting, you quickly copied his movements, and the clone commando seemed to buy it before leaving.
A sigh left your lips, and you nudged hunter playfully before the both of you left the facility, acting like the next patrol. And as quickly as you got in, you got out, halfway down the patrol route as the alarms started going off "they found my handy work, about time” You huffed, taking your helmet off and tossing it down the canyon before doing the same with the rest of the white armor you wore, however hunter just tossed his into the same alcove that your armor was in prior, though it had long been grabbed by Tech and Omega.
Before hunter could say anything, you both had reached the marauder, climbing on board where your beautiful armor was waiting. And quickly you strapped it all on again, feeling comfortable with the added weight. Tech then started up the ship, and off you flew, with the info that you needed, though it was encrypted, but that's what Tech was for.
You and Hunter didn't really speak after that, but the atmosphere around you both wasn't… uncomfortable. Just silent. You were back on Ord Mantell in no time, and you cashed in the info and got your cut. You still had a few other fobs, but they weren't as time crunching… and maybe you didn't have to work alone…
Hunter seemed to think the same as he walked up to you at the bar, sitting beside you, silent for a moment before he spoke up, right when you did as well
“I missed you-”
You both said at once and chuckles fell from your lips as you turned to look at him. You sighed, and stared down for a moment before pulling Put a hold puck, sliding it to hunter.
He turned it on, and saw a small child, six months old with thick brown hair already growing from his head, and the same hazel eyes that he had. He looked like hunter, but as a baby of course.
The man turned to look at you, and you sighed. “one year and three months ago we slept together. Apparently my implant had expired the day we had sex and… well… he happened. And to be honest he was the best thing that ever happened to me…” you trailed off, staring at the hologram. “Hunter, I'm so-”
“I'm a father?” He asked, cutting you off. You finally looked at him, noticing the tears welling in his eyes. You nodded, reaching out for his hand, squeezing gently. “Would you like to meet Tracker?” You asked, smiling gently. “You'll be shocked to know that boy has your talents… I hide his toys sometimes, and he tracks my trail to where I put them, I don't know what he sees or feels but- compared to a regular child hes- he's got your senses.” You explained, and Hunter finally looked up at you, before grabbing your shoulders and pulling you into him, his lips landing right on yours. You were tense for a moment, but quickly relaxed onto him as you reciprocated that kiss.
You pulled away, a chuckle leaving your lips. “I'll take that as a yes.” You whispered, resting your forehead against his as he held your hands in his own.
“Yes”

I want more… clone hc pt. 2
why not more hc, I’m bored and wanna ramble… sorry if I repeated any.
99 is the best vode, he knows everything. If a brother is said, he’ll hug them, give words of encouragement and stuff and a mysteriously some illegal contraband that whatever the clone likes will randomly show up.
Shaak ti is buff and can hold her own if not demolish the Alphas on the training mats (The Rancor battalion found that out the hard way)
Jek, Rys and Thire became close after the mission with Yoda, Thire is still close with the commanders on Coruscant, but he’s even closer with the other two
While Hound may be a sergeant, he’s still an honorary commander member, he became the little brother of the group
…Thorn didn’t die on Scipio, nope, no way. Amidala saved him, always carrying a blaster or smth.
Dogma became really good at braiding hair because of all the time he braided Tups hair, so after Umbara when he definitely goes to Coruscant, Amidala finds out and sometimes ask him to do her hair.
Colt may essentially be Buir of Kamino, but all the alphas (especially 17) out Buir him, and it can be very comedic how a big burly alpha is hauling a ARC commander just to force them to sleep.
Fox absolutely denies or threaten to black mail shebse squad if they bring up the fact Fox was the first to fold and call Alpha-17 buir.
Colt and Wolffe have regular holo-calls just to shit talk Ventress.
Rex got adopted into Shebse squad after he bit Cody (Wolffe was proud)
When Kix is on shift in medbay, most of the time Jesse is there with him, he doesn’t have to be their but he’s a good batch mate.
Each shebse squad member have a quirk in fighting droids: Cody punches and spin kicks them, Wolffe bits them, Rex throws his blasters at them if they run out of ammo, Fox for some reason carry’s a high voltage taser, Bly drop kicks them, and Ponds throws rocks at them to catch them off guard
On multiple occasions animals like Loth cats and Tookas have been snuck on board the venators and multiple times have had to been taken off board
Fives has a girly scream, Torrent found out after he was caught singing in the barracks
Comet (and Plo Buir) can convice Wolffe to take care of himself (little brother privileges), unlike Boost, Warthog, and Sinker who have to sedate him of physically haul him away from the bridge
MEDICS GIVE STICKERS, if a your a good patient, you get a sticker. So there is a lot of vode with stickers inside or outside there armor
Colt keeps himself loaded with weapons, many different types of blasters, check. Lots of vibroblades and vibroswords (that he stole from commando droids), check. It will take a solid 10 mins for him to de-weapon himself
after Khorm, Plo threatened Captain Ozzel…. It was terrifying, Kit Fisto was both shocked and absolutely scared of getting on Plo Koons bad side.
Monnk collects different shells and rocks from the ocean floor and give them to different vode
kit fisto taught his battalion how to fish, just randomly, out of the blue he said they were going fishing and they went fishing
Ashoka definitely stole the ‘I’m no Jedi’ line from Rex.
everyone form the 212th and some 501st members were more traumatized by a bold Kenobi than the fact he faked his death to be a bounty hunter for a time period
kix has trouble staying warm after the cyro-freeze, like he’ll be bundled up in layers on tatooine
quinlan snuck into fox’s office once and was hit with a data pad on the head when he scared him and got himself a concussion, safe to say he doesn’t sneak up on fox anymore
clones have a sweet tooth
Once Hound got hurt while chasing a suspect and Grizzer went absolutely feral on the person who hurt him, it took Thorn and Stone just to separate him from the suspect, (fox and thire were just watching in shock as they helped hound)
padawans always use vents for travel (ex. Echo: where’s the commander. Fives casually: oh she’s in the vents. Echo: oh.. WHY IS SHE IN THE VENTS)
(Might be in the other one) The corrie guard have a bet everytime a battalion is on leave, the bet is: which members of what battalion will have the most in the drunk tank.
medics have to have a smex-ed meeting with every new shiny that boards
Bly (respectfully, cause he is a gentleman) asked Aayla to wear armor, the next day she was wearing Bly’s spare armor. Bly couldn’t stop blushing the whole day and it made his tattoos orange
When one or more of the Shebse squad is on leave, they bully fox into going to 79’s with them or to take care of himself. Safe to say, that whenever that happens the corrie guard can relax a bit
the most annoying patients for medics is any CO or jedis, all medics curse like sailors
when Kix was a medic shiny he hadn’t yet mastered the disapproval stare or the ‘shut the kark up and do what I say’ stare, so the vode listened to him just because it was so cute and funny, they quickly learned to stop thinking like that.
once after a battle Obi-Wan found Cody lying star fished on his back, he kicked a droid and broke his foot and collapsed once his foot gave out. Obi-wan just sighed, forced healed his foot a bit and carried him to the medics (Cody was turned into a sputtering and flustered mess)
Rex was already being corrupted by Skywalker’s tendencies when he was just a lieutenant in the 212th, Cody was horrified and wanted to bash his head into the wall.
Boil and Waxer secretly adopted Numa after Ryloth, each just co-parenting her
Kids on coruscant would sometimes come up to a guard member and hand them a paper of a drawing, ask for a hug, or just give them goodies. The guard now has a wall full of drawings given to them by kids in the barracks
the guard have stupid names for operations, it’s just a serious op about observing and trying to take down a drug ring (with vos’s help) and it has a name like “operation: too high to fly”
the cadets will hang off from any limb they can reach of their clone trainers and shaak ti
medics will lay on a cot with an injured clone on it to help them sleep, they’ll either be sleeping with them or doing data work
so yah… I’ll make more. Might make some of cod, fnaf , Dc, etc. as well and try to do art as well

I became curious about something; how different do you think things would go if someone else but Crosshair had a 'functioning chip'? Say Hunter was the one 'loyal' to the Empire. Because then the rest of the Batch would suddenly stand leaderless for instance. Ignoring the bad writing of the show of course. (Sorry if you've covered this somewhere already.)
I prolly have covered it? I don't think so, but I also don't remember, and I am doomed to inevitably repeat things as all who forget their history are will to do...
I think that the situation is an interesting story to explore.
But if it followed TBB's logic, it would be one that, unfortunately, would inevitably done the same things that occur in TBB, without fail and maybe with only minor to insignificant one-line differences.
( Almost word per word, exactly like a fanfiction rewrite that spends a majority of its time just copy pasting lines word per word without taking it stories into new directions... just merely adding scenes that get a Mature Rating slapped on )
Because TBB is not, in fact, written to tell stories but sell you something for attention and subscription money. It was never going to be deep, it was only going to bank on hype, rush and attention-of-the-moment; and it was never going to follow any kind of character or character arc beyond how it affects their OC and the OC's rival character.
So to follow the lines of this logic, to follow TBB, is to place Hunter as Omega's anime rival... and it would be just like Crosshair's arc, if not exactly. Maybe a change of planet, maybe a change from sniper rifle to combat knife, exchange the energy bow for a vibrosword, but the result wouldn't be any different.
BUT.
If we were to follow the line of thinking, with the idea that unique characters make the plot, they are not made by the plot... And that means following the character as they are introduced and presented, with all implications in mind, with the world build of Star Wars and the set up of the Clone Wars...
And of course, adding the best parts-- human experience and human imagination in a beautifully gruesome mesh-like disaster...
It starts with the fact that the Bad Batch are killers first and foremost. They brag about putting down insurrections and killing the people involved [the Yalbec story from the Bad Batch arc of season 7. The implications behind their bragging are horrifying, so I grabbed popcorn.], as well as the fun additional information that suggests why there was an insurrection [ I'd be pretty pissed too if my giant bug mother was hunted down and killed because her stinger was delicious to some cultures, and even more so if the Republic we're apart of does nothing about it. ]
They all follow the Empire, because its easy. Even better, they're highly regarded for their skills, probably finally get a paycheck with benefits. To the bad batchers, there really isn't much difference between the Empire and the Republic, the Empire is just the Republic with the shackles off anyway, and they're just continuing what they've been doing since deployment.
But because the chip runs on regular clone genome, not their mutant modified brains, that's when conflict would begin arise.
That's the sciencey-bullshit explanation.
The narrative-bullshit explanation, is that the strongest parts of each character can break through the evil-artifact's influence, provided that what is strong about them isn't what the evil-artifact attaches / attacks.
That's a general set up. So let's add your suggestion as a spark point to get stories going moving forward. Setting up the setting is all nice and dandy, but we need Ideas now.
So let's add in the idea that while everyone knows something is probably wrong, but can't quite put their finger on it, they know that there is obviously up with Hunter.
He's colder, he's more vicious, he's not the anxious compulsive snarker now, he's seemingly more a perfect soldier than any reg. Orders are absolute and be damned to anyone in the way.
( It was already noticed that the regs are acting like that too, regardless if they were like that before, and this on the backburner of the minds of the Bad Batch. But because most of the Bad Batchers are "special" (save Echo, who is freaking out) they don't consider themselves to be as knee deep in the cacky as they actually are. )
Echo is the very first one to call it out. He knows something is wrong. His brothers aren't acting right, the Bad batch have been getting these odd headaches, and Hunter has done a total 180. But given that Echo is new, the rest of the Batch try to confront Hunter.
( The jedi are dead. Echo saw the massacre reports and recordings via his new built-in hacking skills. Rex is dead, Jesse is dead, Kix is dead--everyone he has ever known, is gone. And if they're not gone, they are certainly not them anymore. Echo wants desperately to trust his squad--they're the only ones left... )
They send Wrecker first, because its hard to do anything to Wrecker. Wrecker's general warmhearted rough housing, results in being yelled at and given a vicious cold shoulder. Wrecker leaves Hunter alone, and becomes depressed.
Then its Tech, who isn't a socialite by any means, and tries to break the ice, so to speak, with fun information facts he's learned. When Hunter ignores him, Tech skips right into direct confrontation, breaking down that there is something wrong going on and they're in the middle of it, Hunter shuts him down. Tech leaves Hunter alone, and copes by putting his mind to a nearby droid project, and never saying a word to anyone.
Then the big one, Crosshair. Second in command, confident and in control, and the biggest asshole when he has had it with someone. He straight up confronts Hunter, no preamble, though unlike the avoidant Wrecker or the bullheaded Tech in confrontations, Crosshair hits his marks.
"You weren't like this before." "You're acting like a Reg." "Since when did we care about Orders?" "Since when did we care about missions beyond surviving them and the GAR?" "You notice how the Empire is killing regs enmass?" "You're going to led us to our death with that attitude."
( It should be noted, that Hunter's original self, has just enough capacity over his chipped brainwashing to not report his brothers, nor to execute them for defying Order 66. )
( This is not enough, however, to stop him from retaliating with the full force of a wild animal. )
Hunter and Crosshair end up in a fight. Hunter, at his worst, is a vicious dirty fighter who uses his environment and flexibility and stealth, to take down an opponent. He is wicked wiht a knife and small arms, Crosshair's absolute weakness as a primarily long ranged fighter. Hunter, chip or no chip, does not attack to kill his brothers, but Crosshair is dragged to medical afterwards for an "incident with a training droid".
Echo has had enough. Lines have been crossed, he has been told to sit back and wait for the team to handle it, his own feelings are a chaotic mess, and now his alarms are going off.
Whatever is going on with the clone army and with Hunter, its not something that can be reasoned with, and its certainly not something that can be done about when under the scrutiny of these natborn officers.... These new officers who would order public staff executions, and gods knows what else they do to the planets they occupy...
The only decision is to run and maybe, find a way to help from the outside, because they're not doing shit here.
( with dragging of feet and looming disaster in their minds ("We're just, leaving Hunter behind!?"), it doesn't take much for Echo to convince the remaining squad that they can't handle Hunter right now, but maybe, just maybe, they can find help and get him later. )
( "He'll be fine, he has to be fine, they aren't going to kill him because of our failure, that'd just be a... waste of resource," says Echo, "We just need to sell it like its a mutiny." )
They do. Hunter is hard to deal with one on one, but collectively (well, minus a wounded Crosshair) its easy to cause a scene and punch his lights out in front of cameras.
The tricky bit is running to the Havoc Marauder. They are, of course, successful, but not without some strange, unseen, outside help from a blond haired clone cadet we haven't seen up onto this point. To CF99, it just seems like coincidence that the blast doors reopen as they're closing, and that training droids are suddenly flooding hallways.
They fly off.
And that would be... well, at least the first five episodes maybe? No TV show movie or 1 hour episode start, just, full on first quarter of season 1.
This is just my idea of it... but it starts with setting Echo up as the leader of the Bad Batch, and it does not involve Omega having center stage, but merely being an implied part of plot to be revealed later.
As for what happens going forward, that depends on what we want them to face. Do we want them inevidably heading to Wayland? Does Wayland even exist as it does in TBB or is it something else? Does Pabu exist or maybe are we canonizing old media planets into the Disney verse? Does Cid exist or is someone else around?
The best thing about a over arching episodic story... is that you can literally do anything, as long as you know the world build and the rules of the "game". There's a lot more that can be done in the STar Wars sandbox than just rehashing familiar shit for kudos and likes.
But we can set up a few things from what we know prior and from what this set up already has.
Rex is out there, starting the Rebellion, and he's working to free clones--which is perfect in order to get Hunter back. This also sets up the reveal of the chips as well as the fact that it was Fives who discovered them, and it was only by slim chance, that Rex ever escaped in the first place.
Crosshair would understand the logic of leaving Hunter, but the emotional impact of leaving a brother for potential dead, would immediately make him a rival challenging character to Echo. The writing rules of this situation, however, is to make him merely a rival, not a saboteur. Just because someone is a dick, doesn't mean they're going to unscrew the ship engine and tell the enemy where you're at. This is very important to keep in mind.
Each Bad Batcher would have an episode to come to terms with leaving Hunter, facing what their relationship with him meant to them, and dealing with the possibility that he may or may not come back. Part of this is returning to a post-battle Kamino and finding 99 was killed, which would play into why each Batcher is anxious.
Just as well, for emotional character scores that doesn't involve the plot or grief, each Batcher gets an episode to face the galaxy on their own merits, potentially leading them to a finale arc later on for when this initial over-arching plot is over, as a way to either allow the next over-arching plot or to retire the character for now. Rule of writing? It has to bee on their merits alone, not detailing their relationship with their team.
Of course we're going to have team episodes that help define to the audience what kind of relationship with batcher has with one another.
And we're gonna need episodes where the Bad Batchers butt heads with Echo as Echo leads a team that he wasn't a vital part of, and didn't share much history with.
Obviously we have to save Hunter. None of this 3 years separation-dangle-him-in-your-face shit. And Just as the other batchers get their own character episodes, both for their histories and themselves facing the world--Hunter needs those too without the looming threat of the chip. But before we get there, we're going to have fun with his chip episodes but allowing him to have an evil arc with obvious internal conflict--as his true self fights with the evil outside forces controlling his life.
I know I don't like her as she's treated in TBB, but Omega would be an interesting character to use without putting her in the spotlight. We do need someone around who knows their medical. Just maybe she's integral to freeing Hunter...
Because I love a dose of self indulgence, and every writers needs that in their stories, each Batcher gets a Chip episode or Chip Arc in some fashion. Enough to ensure character conflict and growth, and also to inspire fans to create their own Chip AUs. Could be that, because of how CF99 was made, removing their chips are a lot more complicated than just a brain operation on a derelict ship.
New Clones introduced of course. Perhaps those who would've filled in for clones who died in TCWs--like, since Commander Ponds die, who was Windu's new Commander for the rest of the war? And those from TBB, cos let's face it, thems were awesome too. Mayday might just survive this time!
No Guest Characters. If there are, they need to have a serious connection to clones, other wise, someone is robbing story and character for cameo rights, and that's not how you make a story. This is a clone story.
If we're gonna have Rex, we need Cody. Cody needs to be totally chipped as a foremost example of how bad the chip gets. He's meant to serve exactly as he's intended, as he's done in all his appearances, and in this case, he needs to additionally be Rex's rival and antagonist character.
And the final writing rule, the most important one...
Clone stories need to have an element of tragedy and finality. You don't have to kill a main character to get it, but there is no happy ending here.
The happy ending is performed by Luke Skywalker in "Return of the Jedi".
We can only achieve Bittersweet, at best. Everyone can live, and still lose.
Its by this rule, that Order 66 really is the tragedy its born to be and not just an excuse for the plot to get rid of all the Jedi characters.
We should see its direct effects as a clone story, and not just some one handed episode that never becomes relevant again. When this story ends, the loose ends should be on purpose as a message of "Because of the events leading to this story, this rope is permanently cut and can never be tied again. This is not a place of honor, we are survivors of the worst and the world cannot be fixed."
...
I wasn't expecting to write a full episode with a concept board attached, but damn, here you go, a full novel for your question.

Handler Zi'sist, the one who take "care" of Ain'res and Eight (@eorzeashan) in this AU. Handlers are Force Users thats are to weak to be full Sith. Thanks to Dark Council they gave people a chance to not to be killed off on Korriban. They took additional trening like at the Imperial Academy and become mix of Sith/Military skills. They can't use lightsabers so instant they use vibroswords. They control shock collars and they can create a literal leash to keep the hounds in check.
Handlers maybe are below Siths but they gain some serspect and fear on military side. Because you dont know if you gonna be "vchosen" to become member of this great project
The uniform is offcial uniform for Handlers

more rambly thoughts about weapons (this is turning out to be a long one): -the darksaber is a weapon (sword), the beskar spear is a weapon (spear) -perhaps omega lends you her bow (bow), because hades itself definitely differentiates between a gun and a bow (adamant rail/vs coronacht). alternatively (sorry for bad batch-ifying your hades au it will likely happen again), crosshair's sniper rifle. -anyway, the rail would likely be a blaster of some sort, a dc-17 maybe? as a reference to the clones? (gun) -that leaves the shield and fists, then, which--- what the heck man, why is this so hard to pull from star wars lore. uh. who's big on martial arts? the jedi, i would imagine, so maybe the fists are… hm. nothing is coming to mind re: the jedi. what IS coming to mind is two things: darth vader's gloves of force choking (idk man), and mandalorian gauntlets/vambraces (din's whistling birds?). so one of those two, maybe? (fists). WAIT. i had a thought. it is bad batch associated but you can kill me for it later. WRECKER'S GLOVES!! there we go. -shield is a bit harder--- i'm considering leaning mando for that because they're big on armour, uhhhh….. the only shields that are coming to mind aren't even mando, they're the goddamn plasma shields used in TBOBF against boba and fennec. hold up let me go reference a fic--- okay wookieepedia is giving me silandra's shield, a legendary plasma shield used during the high republic era, or a simple light-shield, used by jedi younglings in training but able to deflect lightsabers and blasterbolts. okay i am thinking light shield with an aspect of silandra! (shield)
I've been promising this answer for well over a month please forgive me for taking so long! I sadly didn't have as much time as I would have liked to spend on the Hades AU in August ^^; Thank you so much @elwinged for sharing these super insightful thoughts as well, they were amazing to read and re-read! <3
Hades AU WEAPONS - and ASPECTS
First things first, I'll admit that I haven't thought about much of these on my own, so I'm just very thrilled and excited to dig into what you'd sent me! *A* (I'm combing the weapons and aspects together, hopefully in a coherent and somewhat structured manner)
SWORD
The darksaber is a weapon
Aspects: "darksaber probably turns into several different lightsabers: obi-wan's, anakin's/vader's, luke's? maybe ahsoka?"
This is the one thing were I won't have many thoughts to add, except that this would need some workshoping (mostly because I cannot think of any sword variants that's not "just" a vibrosword (Din would probably love to change the Darksaber to something less cursed XD) - but also wouldn't it be real funny if the Darksaber was just the Darksaber? No aspects, Din got it, Din is stuck with it in that one single form, there is nothing he can do about it.
I love all your suggestions, but I think I will just stick with this one because it's too hilarious to me. The Darksaber is the Darksaber, no two ways about it, sorry Din, you're stuck with it.
SPEAR
The beskar spear is a weapon
Aspects: "beskar spear becomes maul's double-bladed saber, savage opress' spear and perhaps venestra rwoh's lightwhip?"
I really like the idea of Savage's spear, but (after some minor googling) I like the Mon Calamari blaster spear (it's not very practical on land, but... we need some variety. Plus you get access to aspects through character interaction in Hades, right? Like another character gets reminded of that aspect and such... I guess Kit could be a lead in for this one, as Maul would be with Savage's spear).
(As a tangent I've also found the Lasan bo-rifle, but goddamnit I've kept most of the Rebels influence out of this AU too, so that only gets an honorable mention here.)
There are also electrostaffs that Zygerians used, that's one sided/ended (and Rex must be (unfortunately) very familiar with them since he used one to impale that slaver at the end of the Zygerrian arc)... I'm not a 100% set on this, but the other alternative I can think about is a shock trooper's electro-staff...
Venestra's lightwhip is more of a lightsaber, I guess? (I haven't yet watched the last two episodes of The Acolyte so don't at me here) so that doesn't really track here imo.
BOW
"perhaps omega lends you her bow, because hades itself definitely differentiates between a gun and a bow (adamant rail/vs coronacht). alternatively (sorry for bad batch-ifying your hades au it will likely happen again), crosshair's sniper rifle."
I think in this case it might be better to indeed keep the differentiation between bow and blaster (even if it will probably be a lot more difficult to collect enough aspects for a bow), and so let's not bad batchify the bow just yet XD (I've been fighting very hard NOT to allow the Bad Batch into this AU, only Omega and Echo got a pass from that ban)
Aspects: "bow maybe has an aspect of crosshair (sniper rifle), chewbacca's bow-caster, and… a nightsister bow? maybe swap omega and nightsister around and have the more basic version be the base weapon"
Yes to all of those and...I'm really feeling our limitations here for a 4th option because all i found was the Ewok's bow and arrow. So how about we downgrade a little to the energy slingshot that Ezra has in the beginning of Rebels?
RAIL
"anyway, the rail would likely be a blaster of some sort, a dc-17 maybe? as a reference to the clones? (gun)"
I suppose it is a better question if this is a handblaster or more of a sniper rifle. I don't know the rail all that much because for the life of me I cannot make it work (I don't remember how I managed to make a single successful run with it in the first place... so I don't remember how it works in-game) since Din has a variation of those on his person at all times. So the "rail" either stands in for the Amban Rifle, or the handblaster at his hip.
(I'll veto the DC-17 since that was nominated as Rex's keepsake, so let's not confuse those two, yeah?)
Aspects: "rail has an aspect of padme (she's my GIRL), ezra's bow-lightsaber monstrosity, and perhaps leia's blaster? feel like that's quite similar to padme's though… we'll workshop it"
I was thinking that Crosshair's rifle would fit better here (both Omega and Fennec can hint at access to that?), Ezra's lightsaber-blaster combination is a genius thing, no badmouthing that horrible creation, I love that! :D and sure, I guess Padme's little screwdriver looking blaster pistol can also be an aspect?
FISTS
"[...]what IS coming to mind is two things: darth vader's gloves of force choking (idk man), and mandalorian gauntlets/vambraces (din's whistling birds?). so one of those two, maybe? (fists). WAIT. i had a thought. it is bad batch associated but you can kill me for it later. WRECKER'S GLOVES!! there we go."
Aspects: "fists.. .maybe they start out as din's whistling birds, then aspect of wrecker, vader and…. boba (flamethrower)? i also just read about mandalorian crushgaunts (beskar reinforced gloves) which could also be the base, and swap out whistling birds for boba?"
The basic weapon can be a Mandalorian gauntlet (but the whistling birds I was planning to keep for the Cast attack, since it's with Din at all times, and so are his vambraces. I couldn't think of any other long-range weapon on his person that wouldn't become a changable thing with all these other weapons. Plus there is also a limit to how many times and how fast you can fire those, so I think that tracks alright) But I can get behind the others... I don't remember what's up with Wrecker's gloves, but I do seem to remember Black Krrssantan (sorry for any spelling mistakes) having his electric knuckle dusters that can also pack a punch.
SHIELD
"shield is a bit harder [...] the only shields that are coming to mind aren't even mando, they're the goddamn plasma shields used in TBOBF against boba and fennec. [...] or a simple light-shield, used by jedi younglings in training but able to deflect lightsabers and blasterbolts."
Aspects : "shield-- aspect of silandra (a legendary plasma shield used during the high republic era), uhhhhh OOH obi wan's saber because soresu, and. uh. enfys nest's gauntlets? they're technically gauntlets, as titled, so they could be slotted in as an aspect of fists, but they fan out to be mini shields, so…."
Mandalorians can have a small shield of their own (as seen on Paz and Bo-Katan both), so that's good for base, with and aspect of Silandra, and Enfys Nest (that's made of beskar plates too, isn't it?)... and like what could be the last one. The idea of Soresu is absolutely hilarious (mostly because Din would be so bad at it ,so it would also track as a legendary aspect, considering how those are supposed to be more tricky to use?) but also like. What if it's just Din's beskar armor turned up to 11? XD I really have nothing better here ^^;

Crosshair and touch
Thank you so much, anon! I hope you enjoy. This wound up also spiraling out of control as a drabble prompt XD
-
touch.
Crosshair has almost forgotten what it was to be touched, but time changes that. Canon-compliant with major whump, hurt/comfort, and a soft fluffy ending, spanning S2-S3 and beyond. 1160 words.
-
Gloved hands rough on his wrists and neck, checking for a pulse.  He groans, trying to speak, but the effort is too great.  The hands recoil in shock.
“He’s alive.”
Is this real?  He’s not sure.  It’s been so long since he’s heard another voice.  So long since he felt anything but sun or wind or rain or hunger.
He’s forgotten what it feels like for someone else to touch him.
The hands grab him, hauling him to a stretcher, their grip hard enough to leave bruises.  He hasn’t missed anything, then.  “Call it in.  This clone must have been out here for weeks.”
-
Crosshair clasps Cody’s wrist, slipping his last mirror puck into his palm.  The other clone’s hand is sure and solid.  It reminds him powerfully of Hunter’s.
There’s a quick look of understanding, the determination to finish the mission, a feeling of settling into sync.  He hasn’t felt that in a long, long time.
-
Mayday, shivering violently in his arms.  Have to keep him warm.
Mayday, the edge of his cracked helmet cutting into the crook of his neck.  Have to keep him out of the wind.
Mayday, arm slung over his shoulders, weight heavy at his side.  Be stronger, be like Wrecker, help him, help him --
Mayday, the skin of his neck cold and still beneath Crosshair’s frostbitten fingers.
-
A sharp needle, beveled edge piercing his skin, bruises mottling his neck after days, weeks.  Fire burning in his veins, restraints leaving red marks at his wrists and forehead.  It’s almost a relief when they lead him to a different room with other clones, when they strap him into a dark tube, when Hemlock tells him this is something new.  It couldn’t be any worse, could it?
Then the machine fires on, and he screams until his throat tears.
-
Omega’s hand, patting his shoulder, small and soft and gentle.
Hunter’s shove, infuriating but so familiar.
Batcher’s broad shoulder, comforting to pat or scratch.
Wrecker’s hug, massive, burly, warm; their faces brushing, Crosshair’s cheeks scraping against Hunter and Wrecker’s stubble.
-
Hands around his throat, fingers crushing, twisting, straining, cold water closing over his head --
Then hands helping him up, a clap on his back, giving him his helmet, his weapon, an unspoken we’ve got you.
-
Omega’s hand, warm and sure, resting on his. His trembles.  Hers doesn’t.  Her hand on his feels like a protector, like a guide.
It’s the first time her nickname little brother seems to really fit.
-
He returns the favor.  Helps Omega out of the water, a steady hand to help her rise, an unspoken I’ve got you.
-
His hand’s not trembling, it’s full-on shaking, jerking against his chest.  He tries to hold it down with his good hand, gritting his teeth.  He has to tell them about the lead that he’s been hiding, the lead he’d hoped he’d never have to use.  There is no other way.
His right hand spasms against his left, and he pushes on.
-
He takes one side.  Hunter takes the other.  Wrecker groans, and together they heave him to his feet, brothers on either side, protecting the protector.
-
He should call Plan 99.  It’s the only way.  The guilt rises up in him, thick and choking, exploding out in a desperate, haunted plea.
But Hunter’s voice pulls him back.  Omega needs all of us.  Wrecker’s hand on his shoulder keeps him from the edge.
They can do this.
They can do this.
Together.
-
The boot on his wrist, grinding his hand into the ground.
Beat.
He’s trembling, shaking, left hand clawing desperately, he has to get free --
Beat.
The hum of the vibrosword, high above him.
A taunt.  You should be more careful with your shooting hand.
Beat.
He’s frantic, twisting, tearing at the leg on his wrist with his free hand, no, no --
Beat -- beat -- beat -- beat --
-
Hunter’s arm around him, his brother as unsteady as he is.
Omega.  There’s nothing else.  His hand doesn’t matter.  He doesn’t matter.  They lean on each other, step by slow aching step, and they go to find their sister.
-
Rain slick and pelting his face, his head.
Hunter’s shoulder, rising and falling as he pants, but steady.  So steady.  Crosshair braces his stolen weapon on his ruined arm, braces his arm on Hunter.  Rise and fall.  Rise and fall.
Doubt like he’s never felt it before.  Wounded, afraid, half the soldier he used to be.  He doesn’t dare to take the shot.
But Hunter’s steady, steady, steady.
Trust him.
Trust her.
He breathes in.  Breathes out.
Like she taught him.
He takes the shot.  Makes the shot.  It’s enough.  It’s everything.
They wait for her, exhausted.  Crosshair kneels beside Hunter, waiting for her to reach them, dizzy with relief.  In the dim light, he sees her smile --
Sees the way it fades, when she sees his hand.
He expects her to recoil.  Or to turn to Hunter for comfort, after everything.  He doesn’t expect the tears welling in her eyes.
Doesn’t expect her to run to him, to slam into him with a hug so fierce it takes his breath away, to cry into his shoulder like she loves him --
Crosshair closes his eyes, leans to her, feels water on his face that isn’t rain.  Feels Omega shift, raise one arm to bring Hunter into the embrace, and that feels right.  Hunter’s arm rests on his back, safe, secure, protective.
They have to go.  He and Hunter get to their feet, and Hunter holds her hand, and Crosshair rests his arm across her shoulders.
He doesn’t want to ever let her go.
-
The Pabu years are kind to them.
It’s hard to remember, sometimes, when every touch was rare, something to keep close and hidden; hard to remember when there are now so many moments to recall.
Batcher, hogging the bed, licking his face, wagging her tail for skritches, clambering into his lap despite his efforts to evade her.
A light punch at Wrecker’s arm, a nudge to accompany a joke, an arm slung over his shoulders, a clap on the back.  Wrecker helping him with his armor and his clothes, before the prosthetic.  Wrecker hauling him into a massive hug, lifting his feet off the ground, shaking him like a doll -- both of them reaching for quiet hugs at night, after bad dreams, after missing Tech.
Leaning against Hunter in conversation, clasping a hand in agreement, elbowing him in the side. Resting his head against Hunter’s shoulder, when memories crowd in and meditation isn’t enough.  The occasional shove, but accompanied by laughter.  Hunter’s hand, steady on his shoulder.
And Omega --  There are so many moments now.  Her hand in his when walking or resting, his hands on her shoulders to adjust her shooting stance, secret handshakes, falling asleep on him when it grows late.  He could never hope now to remember all of the times she’d flung her arms around him, nor all the embraces he’d given her.
He could never possibly forget.

So are you saying you don't have a picture of Obi-wan that you carry around with you at all times?
No.
I did have one when Feral stuck a flimsi page printed from the holonet on a dartboard. It was quickly destroyed by multiple projectiles. I think Savage even used a vibrosword.
We have yet to replace the dartboard.

“You got twenty minutes to make yourself look like something someone would pay to fuck, otherwise, we’re both getting tortured to death in the belly of a fucking bounty hunter ship. If you think you have time to ask me questions, then how about you just take that stupid fucking vibrosword you think you’ve got hidden in your fucking boot and shove it in my kidneys and make Cad Bane’s job that much fucking easier.” Kallus glared balefully at a bottle of age Stewjoni brandy perched high behind the bar, visibly seething. “I’ll only need ten.”

Here's a few questions for you. 🔴♥️🔫🐺
(from: @wolf-among-mechs)
Thank you for your questions, @wolf-among-mechs. I hope these answers will be sufficient. 🔴= there are three such factions I despise. One is a historical grudge, another is with a group who may all be dead, and the other is (partially) a faction who remain around to this day. The first is the Rim Worlds Republic, and Stefan Amaris the Usurper. They destroyed what was (for most) the Golden Age of Humanity. Was the Star League perfect? No. It fought its wars against the Periphery and deeply abused them. But it brought much good to humankind as well. The technology, the peace, the unity of it. Amaris destroyed it all for his own petty ambitions. It is with good reason he is now reviled as the worst single human being in history. The second is the Word of Blake. Much like Amaris, they tried to destroy the Inner Sphere over a petty religious argument. One that led to billions of unneeded deaths. It is telling that even after the fall of the Republic of the Sphere, the ilKhan decreed that former Knights could join a new fraternal order specially dedicated to hunting down Blakist remnants. The third is House Liao. Not the Capellans as a whole, but their ruling house. The reason for this is admittedly more personal - it was rebels professing allegiance to House Liao which killed Aaron DeChavilier, and ultimately sparked the conflict that would destroy the Star League-in-Exile. While it would lead to the creation of the Clans, the stress of the conflict led to the death of Aleksandr Kerensky, our Great Father. Is it any wonder that most people from the Clans dislike the Capellans? At least, for my part, I do try and confine the hatred to House Liao itself. ❤️= I admit, on this question of weapon preference, I am torn. I greatly enjoy the visceral concussion and punch of ballistic weapons, but the light show and (often) limitless ammunition of energy weapons appeals as well. Missiles - especially with more and more 'Mechs sporting guided missiles once again - I find almost too easy. They are useful, do not mistake my meaning, but they require much less skill than a ballistic shot or a long-range PPC hit. Has anyone invented a gun that fires lasers yet? That would be "wicked awesome" as a Terran friend of mine from Boston says. 🔫= I have trained extensively in infantry combat. All Clan warriors train in the basics of infantry combat and melee fighting. It was part of my regular between-deployment training with the Fusiliers - they had several Canopian ex-Ebon Magistrate commandos, a DEST commando, and (eventually) an ex-Manei Domini Banshee Delta to learn from. I am thus skilled with many infantry weapons, martial arts styles, and melee weapons. We even learned zero-G and underwater combat techniques.
As for what I presently carry: I have a JàrnFòlk-modified Sternsnacht Claymore ultra-heavy pistol as my sidearm. It fires 14mm tungsten-core armor-piercing explosive incendiary rounds, from a custom made 8-round extended magazine. It is a beautiful work of art, with platinum damascening, engraving in falcon-feather patterns, imperial jade inlays, and wood from Strana Mechty itself, which forms the exquisitely carved grips. I have used it to kill megasaurs, armored Elementals, and Blakist Zombie infantry alike. I have timed my draw and, even with the Claymore's somewhat excessive weight, have won quite a few formal fast-draw pistol competitions.
I also routinely carry a specially-made Clan Vibrosword. Unlike most straight-bladed models, mine uses a katana-style blade - the exact blade once gifted by my ancestor Turkina to my other ancestor, Elizabeth Hazen, during the DeChavalier Massacre - and yes, in a sense this means I have two genemothers. If you ever have occasion to visit Terra, I can show you the sacred talon-marks on the blade...
In my 'Mech, I carry two additional weapons. All SLDF 'Mechs with sufficient cockpit space will carry a Mauser & Grey Model 980SL pulse laser assault rifle - an upgraded and lightened version of the old SLDF issue Mauser 960, upgraded to Clantech standards, and using a variant of ER Pulse Laser tech from Clan Wolf. The ejection seat kit in all SLDF 'Mechs will also carry a Mauser & Grey built Model 995 "Enhanced" Gauss SMG. The Nest currently hoIds the prototypes for both weapons.
And of course, I have my talons when all else fails. Each of them has long since been upgraded, using a version of the Carbon-Fiber Reinforcement process common among Capellan nobles.
🐺= I have several pets! I keep a mew on my estate, with a breeding pair of Jade Falcons, descended from Turkina herself - I have named them Aidan and Marthe, after Aidan and Marthe Pryde. At present, there is also a snow raven in the Mew, named McKenna, after Stephen McKenna, first Khan of Clan Snow Raven. I am caring for him temporarily in place of his master, Star Commander Kendra Siegel. Kendra, a fine specimen of Snow Raven's Naval Commander phenotype, has been a friend of mine for several decades. She is currently off-world for several months, overseeing construction efforts for a classified project at the Titan Shipyards, and conducting naval exercises between Clan forces and those of the new SLDF Navy, of which she is expected to be appointed Commanding Admiral in the next few years.

gimmie my boy please (wip game)
One Crosshair, coming up ;)
Tumblr media
It was a trap.
The night was calm, without any movement, and that was how you knew. You could have warned the rest of your team, but you weren’t here to hold their hands. If the got caught in a trap, it would only aid in flushing out the hidden insurgents, and that was fine with you.
You were all disposable tools, discarded once your use to the Empire ran out.
“Leave at least one insurgent alive,” you said, the filters on your mask distorting your voice. “I will interrogate them myself.”
Mere seconds later, ES-01 stepped on a pressure plate and activated several reprogrammed battle droids, including an impressive number of super battle droids.
Amateurs.
The ES troopers ducked behind whatever bits of encampment they could find, and you sensed CT-9904 heading for higher ground. He, at least, was intelligent enough to not get pinned down.
You didn’t bother to run for cover, you simply walked forward, letting the Force guide you as blaster bolts sped past you from both sides. You only ignited your lightsaber when two super battle droids got in your way. You cut them down without straying from your path, ignoring the rest of the droids. The remaining three ES troopers could handle the bulk of the pathetic force, especially with the covering fire from the clone sniper.
In the end, it wasn’t difficult to find the scouts. With your lightsaber extinguished, your robes blended into the night like a specter, and you slayed two of them before the third realized the fight was already over.
You indicated he should kneel before you, and he did, sweat coating his face underneath is round helmet.
“Where are the rest of your friends?” you asked, low and serene. “I know there’s more than you three. Perhaps they’re standing by to extract you?”
The rebel shuddered, but despite knowing his life was yours, he met your eye.
“You’re a Jedi,” he spoke through clenched teeth. “Why… why would you do this?”
Your own teeth wanted to be bared, but you simply held the red, burning blade near his cheek.
“Does this look Jedi to you?”
The fear in his eyes was quickly overtaking the bravery.
“Tell me where they are, or I start cutting.”
When the man remained silent, you brushed the blade against the side of his head. The effect was immediate, as was the sizzle of burning flesh and his muffled scream. It had only been a glancing blow, but his ear was permanently ruined.
Tears trickled down his face to join with the sweat.
“Save… save us both some time…” he said, the trembling worse now. “…And kill me. I won’t talk.”
You crouched next to him, your words soft. Almost sympathetic.
“Everyone breaks eventually.”
He cried out as you grabbed him by the nape of his neck and forced him to the ground. Extending his arm under your knee, you raised your lightsaber, the blade humming louder as if eager for the impending bloodshed.
The blade never came down. Danger and alarm rang through the Force, but when you looked up, you were still alone. It was not your own danger you were sensing.
With a jerk of your hand, you forced the insurgent into a sedated state, and then took off at a sprint. You leapt over and cut your way through the battle droids you couldn’t avoid, giving one last jump that sent you halfway up the nearby cliff face overlooking the camp.
You propelled yourself up the rest of the way, urgency fueling your muscles as you cleared the edge.
The clone was on his back, bleeding through several slashes in his armor. The vibrosword responsible was held in the hands of a droid commando, its yellow markings indicating it was specialized—the kind of droid that would know to sneak up on a sniper rather than face him at a distance.
It raised its sword above the clone, and you jammed your hilt into its back, activating the lightsaber.
The blade erupted through its chest plate, and you calmly removed the vibrosword from its hands before gravity could finish what the droid could not. You tossed the weapon aside and kicked the droid in the opposite direction, making sure it stayed down in the dirt.
CT-9904 stared up at you, panting either from pain or trying to catch his breath, but his teeth were clenched in clear dislike of you. Your lightsaber continued to thrum in your hand, bathing him in a red glow, until you finally extinguished it.
Picking up his fallen weapon, you tossed it back to the clone, and he caught it in one hand.
“Get up,” you said. “We still have a mission to complete.”

ideas for more swtor classes heheh
i know the chance of us getting new classes with new stories is nil but. let a bitch dream.
first class idea is an underworld pit fighter. heavy armor-wearing asshole that uses melee weapons like vibroswords and electrostaffs (depending on advanced class). probably a newcomer or a veteran of the zakuul fighting pits who leaves in search of bigger and badder fights. jagganath points and all! companions would include a rodian gambler who betted against you and lost everything (ABSOLUTELY HAS TO BE ROMANCEABLE), a gormak who is your worstie, a trandoshan who got disgraced in the eyes of the scorekeeper and said "fuck it, we ball". a droid who abhors violence but has extremely homicidal outbursts (think ordis from warframe) and a nautolan smuggler who has negative charisma (kissable).
second class idea is an underworld performer. maybe a former hutt slave. light armor + blaster pistol. somehow has a tank spec. remember how star wars galaxies had an entertainer profession? yeah that. deal with hutt cartel politics and assassinate your rival starlets! companions would include theron shan but unemployed, a droid being remote-controlled by a hutt, a twi'lek cartel enforcer, an arcona delegate who obsessively cleans your ship because the fucking ship droid doesnt do it right, and a disgraced jedi apprentice who gave up on the academy and is constantly trying to be recruited by the sith but he just thinks the sith are sort of lame so he doesnt join the dark side.

Oh god those shields were a pain in the ass. Look great though, and I'm very happy with the vibroswords. Shame these guys are only useful as sniper strike teams

EYE OF THE EMPIRE
This is Masterpost of info about this AU in Star Wars The Old Republic Era
History: Organisation created at KOTFE/KOTET time by Dark Council approved by Emperor/Empress. After they got heavy beating by Zakuul killing of healthy and high skilled ones just because they dont "behave" is not welcome in current situation. They needet to tame them, control them and use them. In same time the role was to keep "eye" on the Empire affairs, to sniff out any possibility to betray. Thats was the only demand from Emperor/Empress. You wanna this organisation? Ok but be on your guard and best behave too.
Curentlly works with Hand of the Empire
The Hunt: They need members of diffrent ranks. Council gain favour and loyality from all the "weak" Korriban students and become Handlers. The officers, agents, high skilled bounty hunters, smugglers that was to dengerous to run free but to good to be killed off become members of this new organisation. In shock collars with own Handlers to keep them in check now they serve the Dark Council.
Uniforms and equipment:

Handlers as Force users thats are to weak to finish Koirriban trening but get second chance. With military trening they become dengerous mix. They cant use lightsabers so they use vibroswords. They are feared and respected by militarty officers but they must bow before sith.
Hounds are the ones who Council targeted to be dengerous but to silled to be killed. Still usefull. The most dengerous people in the Empire. Uniforms have alterations to be more fit to thier skills. More light outfit or more heavy.
Collar
Tumblr media
The main way to control the hound. Far better than standard slave collar. With bomb inside thay can kill of the hound quickly if they are become too dengerous but this is last resort. More comon are special chemicals for torture. No need for full room to it. Pain and hallucinations by this most of the time are enough.
