Besides, the increasing government emphasis on the development of safer and smarter infrastructure by improving internet connectivity is expected to propel the growth of the market during the forecast period. For instance, in 2016 Russian government mandated the implementation of the emergency call-built system in the locally built and sold vehicles in the country, the law has similar standards based in Europe.
Increasing integration of the real-time fleet management and monitoring system by the OEM is driving the demand for automotive telematics systems in the market. For instance, In August 2022, Lighting eMotors launched Lighting Insights, it is an extension of the existing telematics system to manage and monitor the lighting fleet assets in real-time. The telematics system monitors the state of charge, vehicle efficiency, location, charge time scheduling, driving hours, payment method, load management, and others.
The cybersecurity of the automotive telematics system is one of the major concerns for automobile manufacturers in the market. The telematics systems software is connected through Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth in the vehicle. The real-time data procured through these softwares have a high possibility of tampering during cyber-attacks. Thus, to overcome these challenges key players such as Lighting eMotorf automotive telematics is offering encrypted 4G connection for real-time monitoring of the real-time analytics models.
Increasing integration of the automotive telematics system in the vehicle to track driver behavior and tendencies has benefited the insurance companies at large.
As, the data collected through the car telematics system is used for determining the policy cost of the vehicle, and their insurance premium. Thus, the rising demand for vehicle data collection through telematics devices by the insurance sector is expected to create new growth opportunities for the market.

INCREASED VEHICLE CONNECTIVITY
Connectivity and automation are two different things, but when used together, these two technologies will change the format of driver error and congestion, resulting in safer and healthier roads.
What is connectivity in vehicles?
A connected vehicle can exchange information (or data) with sources both inside and outside the vehicle. This could be with other vehicles, road infrastructure, or any other connected network or thing.
Increased vehicle connectivity means that vehicles are communicating with each other and with infrastructure, which can improve safety, reduce traffic congestion, and support more efficient transportation systems.
Connectivity means that a vehicle can detect another vehicle approaching from over the hill without even seeing it, and that it can also be aware of work in progress around the corner; connected technologies provide the ability to perceive things that are further away than sensor technology. whereas for all vehicles and infrastructure to work together, a connected approach is required.
For example, in Singapore, smart traffic lights are being installed that communicate with each other via Bluetooth or an RFID chip. This allows them to know when they need to turn off and on certain lights, which helps create a safer environment for drivers and pedestrians alike.
And also, some cars now have built-in cameras that can help prevent crashes due to blind spots on roads by warning drivers about hazards ahead using visual cues like flashing lights or even text messages sent directly from the car itself.
Increased vehicle connectivity means more ways for car, truck and other vehicles to communicate with each other and with infrastructure. It can help improve safety, reduce traffic congestion and help us all get where we need to go more efficiently.
Another example is automated parking systems that allow drivers to leave their cars parked in designated spaces without having to worry about finding one themselves. They also save one’s time spent looking for parking spaces.
And at last, let me tell you about Autocar India, the best magazine for car comparison and reviews. They bring you the latest and greatest automotive news, as well as expert reviews of cars and motorcycles. If you have any questions about a car or bike, you can ask an expert through their advice feature.

#thinking of dinosaurs and troodontids were my favorite dinosaurs as a child#when younger i had a real full troodontid tooth fossil that meant a lot to me#for a time we lived within a few kilometers of hadrosaur sites and troodontid sites#while wider general area had many sites of recovery for the big celebrities like tyrannosaur and multiple dromaeosaurs#at that time troodontids were kinda infamous for i think the depiction in some childrens field guides and dino books#which depicted like a fantasy speculative humanoid troodontid based on 1980s model at Canadian Museum of Nature in ottawa#anyway would visit a small local paleo center a lot and woman in her 70s or 80s ran the counter of their center and rock shop#one day she asked me what my fave dino was and i said troodon so she pulled out the tooth and just gifted it to me#in little black case size of ring box with padding and transparent plastic viewing cover kinda like laminate for displaying a trading card#tooth got stolen from out my vehicle while giving some people a ride while at university before i got too poor for tuition#later during first year of pandemic owner of my storage unit died and new property owners threw away everything i ever owned#i was homeless anyway lost job due to early pandemic closures and had to allocate any money to insulin and other prescrip meds#but wouldve found a way to save my things if the new owners had contacted me#they threw out photoalbums y backpacking gear y books y musical instruments y clothes y artwork y camera y all family keepsakes#and all childhood treasures like souvenirs and gifts and school awards and writing portfolios and all the little memories#which i was always sentimental about as child#from earliest age my room looked like a natural history museum with plants and maps and library of field guides#and rocks and field trip keepsakes and all kinds of little animal figurines and mother had painted room in forest greens and browns#to feel like a forest and among the succulent plants and a globe sat the troodon tooth#parents passed when i was a child#never near any family and were always moving never got to settle into proper stable place then father passed after long sad illness#and mother put in so much effort but she passed few years later and i could not take care of myself or my remaining material possessions#and so im still quite hurt having nothing whatsoever remaining of my childhood or school friends or mother or life generally#and when trying to process grief my thoughts often come back to the troodontid tooth as a focal point a distillation of what was lost#even when young i knew it was advised not to become too connected to material physical possessions#but still there are some small little trinkets in our lives that seem to hold so much meaning and i tortured myself for losing that tooth#thinking about troodon reminds me of childhood

i'm assuming that the episodes they're working on now are either the midseason finale, or very nearly. if the usual airing schedule holds and graz organizes his storylines like he did in 24/25 (though this is a big if, considering the volte face this season-- we already should have gotten a Big Episode early in the run and we haven't really yet, unless last night's counts, and also haven't really gotten character throughlines introduced yet, either), we should have a relatively uninterrupted weekly air schedule and then a couple Big Episodes as the midseason holiday break in dec. the break is usually about a month to take us through to the new year, at which point in s24 they came back in on a 3-ep arc (this year, barring arcs and the stripped down "classic svu" strategy, another Big Episode perhaps). enter organized crime, which does not have a release date but is apparently supposed to come back in 2025. the wildcard here is organized crime's airing schedule. other peacock properties (poker face, for instance) frontload their season drops with 2-3 episodes, and then release weekly. i don't want to get ahead of myself here but based on what we're hearing about what oc episodes have been shot, it seems like oc might be working on a similar model. given that svu seems to be going out on rollisi nuke storyline, back half could pick up on an olivia arc (speculation based on them not featuring her so heavily rn + spending a lot of time on carisi + making it Her Turn, so to speak + if new girl's storyline ends up being what i suspect it will be, olivia will feature pretty heavily) that will be airing POTENTIALLY concurrently with a 13 ep order of oc, now freed from non-serial pressure where we KNOW that she's in at least one ep

the other three monkees using poor mike and his big hands as a stim toy.
in the episode where micky does his werewolf impression mike just offers up his hand to be chewed in a way that makes me think that this happens often, and micky will sometimes ask to just chew on Mike’s hand as long as he promises to be “be gentle”
I think Davy does this too, but he doesn’t ask, he just sometimes grabs and starts biting because he’s a feral animal when he’s comfortable at home and Mike has to talk to him about that.
Overall I think Davy’s a little rough with Mike because he’s a selfish little thing that they spoil the hell out of, and unlike micky who sometimes just goes buck wild but feels bad about it, Davy just’ll grab Mike’s hands and start doing things like grabbing his fingers and straightening them and making him clap and shit with no shame because he just sometimes needs to take his toddler-energy out on something and Mike just sits there and lets it happen (i promise he lets davy know if it’s too much and Davy will listen) Davy has no shame when they’re at home and he doesn’t have a girl over or something and Mike lets him just do what he needs to do because it lets davy let loose a bit.
Peter plays with Mike’s hands but he’s more gentle than Davy, and he doesn’t bite though sometimes he’ll put Mike’s hand up and press it against his mouth because it feels good. He’s just overall more gentle about it and because Mike feels safe and comfortable.
sometimes Mike has peter and Davy both at once playing with his hands (micky’s a bit embarrassed that he sometimes needs to let out his energy on Mike so he tries to really only fiddle with Mike’s hands when he’s in hyper mode or stressed out) and the duality of energy is funny.
all of this happens when they’re sitting on the couch and Mike just has his personal time taken up with his three monkee kiddos.

Honestly, putting my Technology Connections-esk amber turn signal rant aside, I think amber turn signals look better, too.
Like, the reason that's often sited for why North American automakers use red turn signals (sometimes), is because they "look better?"
I don't really get that. Because, imo, a red turn signal looks cheap. It looks very cheap. Like, "sorryyyyy, we couldn't afford two different colors of plastic, so we cost cut that," cheap.
So why luxury automakers like Audi and Tesla continue to use them is beyond me. An amber turn signal is way sexier, imo. It exudes attention-to-detail and quality.

Hi just wanted to let you know I’ve been absolute obsessed with ABoT the last couple weeks. I could go on and on about it, but I just quickly wanted to say thank you and also I love how each main character has like a death motif related to them.
Like for Reigen it’s knives/stabbing. He constantly gets in knife fights. His hand was shredded like by “razor blades.” He helps Mob cut food with the intent to teach him it is how you use a tool that matters. He tries killing himself and Mogami with the knife.
For Ritsu, it’s obviously drowning. He has dreams of drowning, he is drowning in a whole lot of emotional stuff, he tried to drown Reigen. And the fountain is very important to him.
Teru I feel would be hanging, for the obvious stuff like being choked with his tie and trying to choke ritsu (which that chapter broke me btw read it like eight times)
Mob I am about unsure, but I feel like fire would be his symbol. The Mogami household where all his suffering stemmed from ‘burned down’ (twice). I can’t remember what chapter, but after he was being scolded by Mogami about saving Teru, there was a line like ‘a flame of hope burned in him.”
Anyway I just love literary analysis and symbolism. and I cannot tell you how much I love your fanfic. Keep up the great work! Thanks for writing!
(ABoT)
yessssssssssssssss the motifs. It just feels so right to attach a Thing to a Character which communicates something deeply thematic and personal about them.
Reigen and knives!!! Of course it has its roots in canon, with his key speech to Mob about how psychic powers are like knives, and they're not to be pointed at people. It felt only right to extrapolate that in ABoT. His career-ending encounter, at the very start which made him quit Spirits and Such, was a possessed man with a knife who assaulted Reigen and sliced his cheek (leaving a scar which is something of a key identifier of ABoT!Reigen).
The knife comes into play again during the Tetsugami encounter, when Mogami uses a knife to threaten to kill Tetsuo, and ends up slicing Reigen's hand with it. (And that hand-slice, of course, was foreshadowing for the hand-shredding in Reigen's future). And the second time Mogami possesses Tetsuo and comes for Reigen, the knife weapon returns with him.
And then... his big moment in ch45. The knife he brought along to kill himself (and Mogami possessing him). In a grandiose "we both go out on my terms" manner. During earlier mental planning of that moment, I'd toyed with the idea that Reigen came to the Mogami house with Tetsuo's (well, Haruki's) gun. It would be a more effective weapon to try to kill both himself and Mogami with. But thematically, it didn't resonate with me. It had to be the knife. It always had to be the knife.
(And it absolutely had to be the knife because, even more importantly, Reigen's attempt at self-sacrifice was not the solution. Thematically, it never could be. After all the thematic talk about how self-sacrifice hurts the people you leave behind, and you can't simply make yourself not matter to them--Reigen killing himself with the knife to stop Mogami could never work. Do not point your knives at people. Do not use knives to hurt people. Do not use knives to hurt yourself.)
Ritsu and drowning. This ties in deeply with the emotional toll he suffers as the surviving child--he feels smothered, he feels suffocated, he feels pressure from all sides to behave exactly as everyone needs him to behave...and he feels like he's drowning, and cannot speak up, and cannot breathe.
And his relationship with water manifests from this. "The water trick" being the thing he internalized from his brother, and manifests when his powers awaken. The way he uses cold water in chapter 7 to soothe and numb himself from his parents' rejection. The control of water being about all he has to use against Teru in chapter 15. The use of water to drown Reigen during their fight. The drowning in the storm that happens in ch41. The fountain, and the way he throws off Mob's water cover when Mob was trying to shield Ritsu from the barrier.
Teru's symbolism is a bit varied! He gets to be the first to play out the "tie as a noose" symbolism, which comes in strong later for Reigen (the evolution of Reigen's tie color symbolizing his emotional journey -- blue when he was alone, switched for white when he first has Mob, switched for pink as that emotional attachment grows, switched for blood-covered stand-in of a noose when Mogami takes his body... Reigen's tie evolving into Mogami's noose was a piece of symbolism I was eager to get to). But back on Teru--Ritsu strangling him with his tie was an inversion of Teru's canon role of strangling Mob... ...and then, of course, in chapter 33 where Teru gets to play this straight against Ritsu ("I think maybe you forgot, Kageyama, that you don’t need powers to do terrible things.") and he strangles Ritsu with his bare hands.
Burning, I'd say, is Mogami's domain. First with the illusion of the house burning down, and now with Reigen having actually set the corpse on fire. That thing of such coldness (as Mob emphasizes how much Reigen, and Reigen's place, are warm) being culled by Reigen setting it alight and making it burn to the ground. The kinds of cruel life in Mogami's house are the sort which need to be killed with fire. And see the importance for Mob here is how fire is a good thing in him. "Flame" is hope, and energy, and passion in his which four years trapped in the Mogami basement had robbed from him, and now Mob is finding again. Finding that warmth and that flame is an important aspect to taking down Mogami, to being part of what makes Mogami, and the house, burn down once and for all.
dkjdbfbjdf thank you for indulging me on this!!! the symbolism in ABoT is so very important to me I love when people pick up on it!!!

I just want to say, I started following bc I was in the trenches and obsessing over Stranger things but I stumbled upon your post about considering New York home and it’s really helped me understand how to love a big city. Whenever we find a new subway route or feel like something is familiar my friend group all call them our hallway/kitchen/wierd bathroom. This is not super well explained but I’m really grateful that I have the the chance to communicate to other transplants and myself that this is my house and these are all my roommates. Like every day I go out and see somewhere new and it feels scary but soon it’ll just be another part of my house, and I’ll see is how now I can point out new graffiti and get a discount at the Dominican lunch place Also it really does make it chill to go out looking awful lol.
I know exactly what post you're thinking of (although of course i cant find it now lol) but it was a very sincere post that i meant with all my heart! I love hearing that my rambling on here might have a positive impact on somebody or put words to a common experience... I'm so happy you're here and figuring out ways to love our big shared house (nyc) 💜💜💜

Something something about the rescue that endangers the 118 being a camper van and how campervans suggest transience and impermanence- of constantly travelling and exploring and searching for something.
Something about it being ‘disabled’ - not broken down but disabled and how Buck hasn’t broken down, but has been disabled by his trauma.
Something something about Buck being highlighted as the one trying to save members of his found family (his brother and sister) and how Buck has been on a journey this season his search for something - for happiness.
Something something about Lev figuring it out in the rubble at the beginning of the season before dying and how Buck will figure it out in the rubble too - after he has died.
