Based on what I've observed in real life, Ketu dominance can manifest in different ways:

First, you have the calm-looking, quiet, private people who are suprisingly accomodating, but still somewhat disconnected from reality. I think those people have 2 or more primary Ketu nakshatras or some other heavy Ketu indicator, along with Moon or Saturn influence.

Then you have the expressive people who are nice but visibly fiery. These people might have Venus or Mars influence along with Ketu. They are more engaging and seem more grounded, due to their comfort with and connection to the body.

Then you have really chaotic people who are most prone to aggression or unbalanced behaviors associated with Ketu. Usually Ketu-Jupiter combination creates extremely opinionated people who can be hard to reason with. They might love to display confidence and might love to enthusiastically empower others, but as both of these planets are forces of the extreme, they can be hard-headed. This sounds mean but I've dealt with them and with all the positive qualities they can have, they still have the need to push their views on others. They can also be unaware of themselves. And one thing they don't want to admit is that they're unnaturally sensitive to any kind of feedback or criticism(obviously, not every single person will relate to this). If a Ketu-Jupiter person has this side to them and it comes out, other people might feel an instant need to distance themselves from them. The Jupiter-Ketu native might tell themselves that others "can't handle" them, in context of them being "greater" or "better" or "right", but with what I've seen, it's just a result of inflated ego+unchecked power+distorted perception.

I want to explore this in greater detail in another post but for now I can list a few interesting things.

The film Oscar and Lucinda is about two people who have a gambling nature, taking me back to the anime and live-action series, Kakegurui, both medias starring Ketu natives.

Oscar and Lucinda (left) is directed by Mula Sun native Gillian Armstrong, starring Mula Sun Ralph Fiennes and Ashwini Moon Cate Blanchett.

In Kakegurui, Minami Hamabe, who has her Sun & Moon in Magha nakshatra, portrays the character, Yumeko Jabami, who is possessed by her addiction to gambling. She exhibits very risky behaviour, much like Oscar from Oscar and Lucinda, although he's less bloodthirsty about it.

Yumeko Jabami is also voiced by Erika Harlacher who has her Sun in Magha as well.

In the film Oscar and Lucinda, Oscar falls in love with the Ketu woman, Lucinda, who is driven by her compulsive gambling nature. And typical, being that they're an Ashwini x Mula pairing.

They both follow Ketu impulses, being outcasts who meet through gambling. Oscar has severed his ties from his strict religious past, going into Sagittarius/9H themes as he means to find meaning in his life, even if it's through risky and reckless behaviour (Ketu). While Lucinda, though an heiress, is actively escaping society to create a path of her own, following Ashwini's purpose in being the free horse, as she severs ties from her origins.

Back to Yumeko Jabami. Yumeko Jabami doesn't even gamble to win. She gambles because she loves the thrill, the adrenaline, the rush she gets when there's a lot at stake. The riskier the game is, the more orgasmic the experience is for her.

Yumeko Jabami and Mary Saotome showcase the differences between Ketu and Mars, as Mary Saotome is portrayed by the Dhanistha natives, Aoi Morikawa & Minami Tanaka.

Mary Saotome gambles to win and maintain her social standing and power within the school. Meeting Yumeko Jabami pretty much humbles her, because Yumeko has no real motivations; she is just a dangerous adrenaline-chasing junkie whose eyes glow red the riskier the game is.

Mary relies on strategy to cheat and maintain status. She is driven to squash her opponents, being very ambitious and clever. She possesses a Regina George-complex as she operates within hierarchy in order to dominate. Victories becoming conquests is such a Martian theme, and she just loves soaking in every win.

Yumeko does not rely on logic or strategy, her intelligence going beyond that, as she is unpredictable and fundamentally detached, not caring about any outcomes at all. Like an addict, she dissociates and chases the thrill of the gamble. Ketu, being headless, indicates a drive without material ambition — Yumeko gambles purely for the dangers and potential losses from the game, making her indecipherable and dangerous in a way that the other characters cannot comprehend.

After watching the live-action, the anime, and YouTube videos which talk about this character, I realize that she might just be the only character that exhibits potent Ketu energy. She is also a blank slate, being the only character without a true personality, the only character whose thoughts aren't shared with the audience — and it's done on purpose, as she is made to be mysterious and potentially empty on the inside (a Ketu trope I touched on), especially with her impossible intelligence and odd headless behaviour.

I think my new equivalent of “8th housers need to keep their plans private” is “I shouldn’t be seeking approval from others when I want to do something for personal gain and satisfaction.”

Like not disguising your need for external validation with yapping about life goals. I feel it’s too strict to say that you shouldn’t tell your plans to people but it depends on the kind of company you’re telling and what kind of information. Telling your best friend or your mom is not the same as telling some random you met twice.

I think 8th housers should keep a diary with their plans/goals laid out and just watch it unfold without consciously worrying about what others may think.

✧ christopher nolan (hasta ascendant) directed the movie "inception", where the theme of dreams and fluid identities comes into play. cobb, the main character, is played by leonardo dicaprio [above] and marion cotillard plays a major role as his wife. we see characters like tom hardy shapeshift from a man to a woman, time is explored and warped, and the truth behind reality is brought into question.

✧ christopher nolan is notorious for his exploration of the concept of time in his movies, popular examples being tenet, memento, interstellar and inception.

✧ marion cotillard [below] plays cobb's wife in inception and has spoken about liking acting as it allows her to have many professions while keeping the same profession in real life. hasta natives like the idea of exploring several different identities and facets of the human psyche.

🪬 HASTA, THE TRICKSTER .

✧ hasta nakshatra is a moon nakshatra in the virgo rashi, which is ruled by mercury. the combination of these two planets lends itself to the fluidity present in hasta natives and aids in deception.

SPECULATING FUTURE SPOUSE TRENDS: WHAT’S THE AGE GAP?

truthfully, it can go either way, but i’m leaning more toward the theory that she’ll most likely be older than him. this is supported by both his vedic and western chart, with looking at the D1, D9, natal and marriage persona charts. using bts' jungkook as an example, i’ll share a few approaches i came across for estimating the age difference between you and your future spouse.
