We got this Tela Vasir I abandoned because I wasn't happy with her face but didn't know what to do about it ✨ and also i lost interest

and here's a tazzik patching himself up and honestly this one's story is the same as tela's ahhhahah

And then one time (several times) I was thinking about what sort of animals might reside on Parnack (the yahg home planet) and these funky creatures happened. Never named them but they're shamelessly based on various flying dinosaurs. These guys are pretty big, big enough to swoop down and have an unattended yahg child for lunch but small enough to get smacked into the next galaxy by an adult one.

I decided they're pretty rare on Parnack in modern times precisely because they were a danger to kids and were therefore hunted to near extinction as soon as the yahg invented long range weapons. The surviving population has learned to leave the yahg alone and resides far away from cities. They can't get themselves off the ground without the help of a tall cliff or at least a strong wind, but once airborne, they're a threat to any creature below that is smaller than them.

Renegade jane and Tela vasir flirting and dating

Jane would flirt with tela when their on a mission murdering people,tela enjoyed the insane women's flirtatious acts but hides a smile when drinking,she grabbed the hand of jane and pulled the human spector to her,kissing her without hesitation on her part.

Jane always take tela out for dancing,but jane was always good at group danci g when in paired with someone ever since tela showed her how to.

Some of their dates have been on their missions,either it be espionage or assassinations contracts or a few full scale masscures on gangs or pirates.

Rnegade jane and shiala flirting and dating amd clone sex

Jane held shiala closed kissing the neck,calling her the rarest asari in the galaxy,earining a smile from shiala.

Shiala is ticklish in her stomach and side of her belly and giggled as jane kisses it,,she doesnt mind sharing with other asaris as long shile has her fill.

During their time in their on reserch staion they used the throain to produce the clones of shiala and jane decided to get readybfor some fun

The asari leader feeling stress from the constant actions of Jane's reckess style around the citadel,the moment she saw jane coming in with a grin she started chastising her for her said actions,but jane knew how to shut her up and plants a kiss on tevos's lips,tevos looked shocked at Jane's actions a hit of anger,,but pleasure not haven't been kissed like that in a centuries since being a councilor.

She took jane to the chair and locked her office as she kissed jane slowly passionately.

We Needed more On-screen Spectres

I just got done replaying Mass Effect 2, including its seminal DLC Lair of the Shadow Broker, and this replay highlighted a feeling of absence that had been ticking in the back of my mind. We needed more Spectres.

This thought was of course sparked by the introduction of Tela Vasir, her ruthless dedication and despondent attitude were particularly electrifying, and the questions she opens up about the Mass Effect universe. What intrigued me most was the political interplay for the Spectres as a representation of their own respective species*, and how that might play into conflict between the aims of a species government in contrast with the aims of the hegemonic council.

In the LotSB DLC itself, Vasir herself attempts the murder of Liara T'Soni in aims of defending the Shadow Broker. While not officially smiled upon by the council, Vasir had used Shadow Broker intel to defend the citadel itself from countless threats, which of course extends to the council too. She also calls out Shepard for working with Cerberus, and that conversation can go down different routes depending on your Shepard's background.

What Tela Vasir exposes is just how complicated the relationship between the spectres and their supposed governing body can be. It's a placating lie to say that the spectres are controlled by the council. Galactic politics never was, and never will be that simple. And it's in these complications and crossing relationships that a great opportunity for writing lies.

I hope in the future of Mass Effect we get more expansion on the dubious loyalty of Spectres. I think a lot of great conflict can organically come from exploring the issues they expose in the Milky Way Galaxy.

*a great deal of focus is put on the burden of representation that spectres bear for their species, whether it be how Shepard is cornered into being the face of humanity, or how Saren is referred to as a shame for the turian people.

I don't know if this happens in other scenes, or if Samara does this as well, but I love that instead of raising a gun Jack just biotically glows.

Liara did that too in me1, and it always felt really badass on Noveria when they're talking about taking our guns and Liara just glow like "I don't need a gun to tear you apart"

HEADCANON: Liselle‘s childhood and upbringing and her relationship to Aria

Liselle, born as the daughter of Omega‘s ruler, was mostly raised by a nanny rather than her mother. That does not mean that Aria and Liselle don‘t have a close relationship, or that Aria wasn‘t present in Liselle‘s life. Aria was there for Liselle as much as she could without blowing her cover or compromising her ability as a ruler. But her primary caretaker was a trusted asari, Catina, possibly one of the individuals Aria trusts most. Despite that, Catina was not aware that Liselle is Aria‘s daughter. This is a secret kept only between Liselle and Aria themselves.

Liselle‘s father is Tela Vasir, but the two never met. Aria gave birth Liselle to Liselle 1872, a little over a hundred years before she took over Omega. She‘s planned to take over Omega as soon as she set foot on the station, and Liselle was also part of her plan to rule over the station.

She had always been meant to continue the bloodline, to rule over Omega once Aria would (eventually and inevitably) pass. As such, she was trained in everything needed to navigate and one day rule the station from a young age. Despite the fact that Liselle was conceived for very selfish reasons (wanting to continue the legacy), Aria loves Liselle more than anything and would gut everyone who‘d dare to hurt her.

Aria was still a dancer on Omega under a different name when she met Liselle‘s father, with whom she had a casual relationship. Initially, she just wanted stress relief and some intel from sleeping with a Spectre, but Aria was attracted so much to Tela that she used her to conceive her daughter. Tela wasn‘t aware of this, but such practices aren‘t all too uncommon in asari society and not even as frowned upon due to the biology of the asari.

Side characters I love for Trilogy Appreciation Week.

The list is obviously not complete and some obvious choices (like Mouse, David Archer, Charr or the teenager and the turian from the Citadel) aren't there (they're in my heart, making me cry).

Khalisah Bint Sinan al-Jilani: My favorite quote from the trilogy comes from a conversation between Shepard and Khalisah, where they tell her: "Keep asking the hard questions." I think Khalisah seeks justice in an injust world. That's my interpretation at least, and it seems to me that she has suffered a lot. And she's angry, because a lot of the time it feels like she's screaming into the void. But she needs to hear this from Shepard and I think Khalisah will go on to keep asking hard questions, as she should.

Gianna Parasini: A classic!!!! I love the way she was so eager to destroy Anoleis but just waited and bid her time. She seemed so sweet talking about the board and how may she help Shepard? The entire time she's like 💅and 👀. And I'm always happy to see her in ME2

The salarian who makes this face during Miranda's loyalty mission. He makes me laugh SO HARD every time

Din Korlack: I'm not a huge fan of his actions in ME3 but I do think the Din we meet in ME1 is one of the first characters who dare to oppose the whole "humans are wonderful, they deserve a seat on the Council" narrative and I always appreciated his character for that. He has good points about the Council, and the way they treat species like the volus and the elcor.

The salarian who asks Shepard to stop touching the console on Sur'Kesh. I love when NPCs are given lines that you remember and actually want to hear.

Donovan Hock: the man is horrible but he's such a diva. The art he has, the giant head looking down on intruders, some of his over top line. I love the sheer drama he brings

Vigil and Vendetta: the way they appear, the music, the knowledge that we are witnessing an historic conversation... It's just incredible every time 

Tela Vasir: I love her. I just do. 

Blasto and Bubin: the best partners!!!!!!!!!!
