Valkyries of God of War

Inspired by Amazon’s Wheel of Time intro with all the Aes Sedai; also Sailor Moon inspired where they are all in a circle

This was a HUGE labor of love! The valkyries are so beautiful and unique, and I loved creating these. The intricate details in their armor, their beautiful helmets, I enjoyed creating this.

In GoW:Ragnarok, they are shield maidens, but I really loved their form in GoW18; they were all very unique and had cool outfits, while Ragnarok, the outfits are kinda the same. I included Freya as a Valkyrie because she just is. I wanted to put her in the middle, but the various sizes of the helmets didn’t give me that option.

Side note: I used Nightshade on this art piece, so it’s not 100% truly accurate, but I’m really trying to protect my art. Kindly reblog if you could.

Days after Plan 99 came out, I watched my husband play God of War: Ragnorok, and decided I wanted to see Tech not as an angel, but an avenging, magical Valkyrie running through the end of the world with his fists out. Finished the sketch, might color it in.

Looks like I’m pounding out grief with work.
