Yeah, so while I was on my "I'm going to read into Vanny/Vanessa as much as possible" journey, I noticed an odd quirk in her animations in how she moves. At first, I thought it reminded me of a ballerina, 'cause she's kinda tip-toeing, & she has this way of keeping her head & chest in one place as she moves, but I looked again & realized --
That's not ballet! She's doing a tight-rope act. Like, look at this one:
Tumblr media
This is like standing up on the wooden boards before you do the actual tight-rope walking, & the ring leader is hyping you up as you do some fun movement for the crowds. &, then, these:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
These are all instances where she walks with one foot directly in front of the other. In that third, she's doing the "woaaah" wiggly-ass balance movements & everything, as if she's swaying up at the top of the tent, even though she's down on solid ground.
Idk, I feel like the way her feet are placed isn't accurate (pretty sure they should be pointed left & right, not both forwards...) doesn't make this 100% correct, but I like it. It also connects back with her first SB teaser, wherein she's up in the rafters.
#em.txt#security breach#fnaf sb#vanny#vannessa#okay but you can read more into this. tightrope acts are almost always associated with circus performances#& we know afton enjoyed himself a circus themeing -- made the whole circus baby peanut gallery & he was also a massive clown#see he's like molding her into one of his performers where he is the ring leader calling the shots#& she is the tightrope walker that the crowd watches with baited breath to see if she falls or makes it across#tightrope walking has also been associated with walking a line between two different worlds or extremes#so on one end she wants to obey afton & comply in killing & on the other she wants to hold onto her life as it was#& she's in the middle trying to not step too far to either side or else she's gonna fall & there is no safety net for her#there's also like. in ruin the vanni mask obscures reality. the vr world is completely different.#if vanny's mask has that tech in it then she's constantly stuck in vr. to her it may actually not look like#stable ground. it may look like she's miles up in the air about to fall. because that's what the glitch needs her to see#because if she saw that wherever she next planted her food foot was safe stable ground she might not be so anxious to keep on#moving down this path#wait hold on is this all an optical illusion & I'm seeing it wrong is it the angle#IT'S TOO LATE THE POST IS MADE HIT POST#did i just pull a matpat misread a minor detail & extrapolate unintended overly detailed info#that is inherently untrue bc the detail it's based on isn't there/is incorrect?#see this is why the game theory channel should have gone to me i can do this matpat bullhonkus no prob bob!

VRC password sharing to do “uploads” is NOT SAFE!! It is never safe to share a password!
While they have access to the password they can:
Log into your account on browser and edit your username, bio, friends, groups, access your VRC+ info, change your password and email, etc
Have access to your upload options via their Unity and browser
And even if you change that password later it may not log them out of Unity, in Unity they:
Can upload the avatar you agreed upon to receive, but also;
Could upload other things or change the agreed upon avatar
Have access to view your other uploaded avatars and delete them
Have access to the unique codes for the other uploaded avatars, and can use that to replace them with different avatars
None of that is safe!!
I saw a kid recently get their VRC account stolen because of doing password sharing for an “upload.” Just because a lot of people do it doesn’t make it smart or safe. Don’t trust strangers!

my first ever experience with vore in vr was a vrchat world. let me tell you, it's a LOT harder to not have a panic attack when there's nobody guiding you through it other that lifeless lines of code and soulless meshes of polygons. if you're gonna try out being a prey in vr, please just have a friend eat you
Oh. Guess I better share this advice with the people.

Building a Safer Future: The Role of Virtual Reality in Construction Training
Tumblr media
The construction industry is one of the most dangerous sectors, with high injury and fatality rates due to falls, equipment-related accidents, and hazardous working conditions. Traditional training methods, such as classroom lectures and on-site apprenticeships, often fall short in fully preparing workers for high-risk situations. This is where Virtual Reality (VR) is transforming construction training, offering a safe, immersive, and highly effective learning environment. In this blog post, we’ll explore how VR can revolutionize safety training for construction workers, reducing risks and improving efficiency.
The Need for Advanced Training in Construction
Construction sites are inherently hazardous, and new workers often lack the necessary experience to navigate these dangers safely. According to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the leading causes of fatalities in construction—commonly known as the “Fatal Four”—are falls, being struck by objects, electrocution, and being caught in or between hazards.
While traditional training approaches, such as safety videos, manuals, and supervised on-site training, provide foundational knowledge, they have limitations. On-site training can expose workers to real dangers, while theoretical training lacks practical engagement. VR bridges this gap by simulating real-world scenarios in a risk-free virtual environment.
How VR Enhances Construction Safety Training
1. Immersive Learning Experience
VR training immerses workers in a 3D environment that replicates real construction sites. Trainees can practice navigating high-rise structures, operating heavy machinery, and responding to emergencies without any actual risk. This hands-on experience is far more engaging than reading manuals or watching instructional videos.
2. Risk-Free Environment for High-Risk Scenarios
Many construction hazards can’t be safely replicated in traditional training settings. VR allows workers to experience dangerous situations—such as equipment malfunctions, structural collapses, or extreme weather conditions—without real-world consequences. This exposure prepares them to react appropriately in actual high-risk scenarios.
3. Improved Retention and Muscle Memory
Studies show that people retain information better through experiential learning. VR engages multiple senses, reinforcing knowledge and developing muscle memory. Workers who repeatedly practice safety protocols in VR are more likely to recall and apply them correctly on-site.
4. Standardized Training Across Teams
In large-scale construction projects, ensuring consistent training across teams is challenging. VR offers standardized modules that can be accessed by all workers, ensuring uniform safety protocols and procedures regardless of location or experience level.
5. Real-Time Performance Feedback
VR training systems can track a worker’s responses and actions in real time. Supervisors can analyze data on reaction times, decision-making skills, and adherence to safety procedures, allowing for targeted feedback and improvement.
6. Cost-Effective and Scalable Training
While the initial investment in VR technology may seem high, it ultimately reduces costs by minimizing workplace accidents, insurance claims, and project delays. Additionally, VR training can be deployed at scale, making it a cost-effective solution for construction companies with large workforces.
Key VR Applications in Construction Training
1. Fall Prevention Training
Falls are the leading cause of fatalities in construction. VR simulations teach workers how to properly use harnesses, navigate scaffolding, and identify fall hazards, significantly reducing risks on-site.
2. Heavy Machinery Operation
Operating cranes, forklifts, and excavators requires precision and awareness. VR training allows workers to practice machinery operation in a virtual setting, preventing costly and dangerous mistakes during actual use.
3. Electrical Safety and Hazard Recognition
Electrocution is another major risk in construction. VR scenarios help workers identify live wires, follow lockout/tagout procedures, and handle electrical equipment safely.
4. Emergency Response Drills
From fire outbreaks to structural failures, VR can simulate emergencies that require immediate action. Workers can practice evacuation procedures, fire suppression techniques, and first-aid responses in a controlled environment.
5. Site Navigation and Spatial Awareness
Large and complex construction sites can be difficult to navigate, especially for new workers. VR training helps employees familiarize themselves with layouts, hazard zones, and emergency exits before stepping onto the actual site.
The Future of VR in Construction Training
As VR technology advances, its applications in construction training will continue to expand. Features like AI-driven training modules, haptic feedback suits, and multi-user collaboration will make VR an even more powerful tool for workforce development.
Additionally, with the rise of remote work and digital construction planning, VR can be integrated with Building Information Modeling (BIM) to enhance project visualization and coordination among teams.
Conclusion
Virtual Reality is reshaping the way construction workers are trained, offering a safer, more engaging, and more effective approach to high-risk job site education. By simulating real-world hazards, reinforcing safety protocols, and providing hands-on experience, VR training reduces workplace accidents and improves overall efficiency in the construction industry.
As construction companies continue to embrace digital innovation, VR training will become a standard tool for workforce preparation. Investing in VR safety training today means building a safer, more skilled construction workforce for the future.
