Neptune. An older original character design of mine - originally designed them for a shirt print that I kept looking at and felt like I HAD to make them a model.
Model, texture, and animation are all mine own on this one.

I was watching America's Funniest Home Videos with my parents last night. There were a lot of video from people's home security video system. After one of them my dad said that it had to be a set up because why would someone be filming that. I explained that a lot of people have cameras running in every room of their house all the time.
He said, "Funny that the same people who won't get a COVID shot because they think the government is microchipping them are the ones that actually microchip themselves with video that can be easily hacked."
I also wonder, what kind of fear do you live with to think you have to constantly surveil every area of your private space? I have no security system (other than locking my doors... usually...) at my house and I have a bad habit of leaving my garage door open. You know what's happened in the 17 years I've lived in my house... NOTHING! One day I realized that I hadn't locked my back door for like 3 weeks... literally nothing.
The only reason I would put up motion sensor cameras is to capture wildlife! Also the only real fear I have about leaving my garage open or walking through the neighborhood after dark is running into a skunk! And now a mountain lion since there has been a positive sighting in an adjacent neighborhood!

Taking breaks to recharge and reset is essential for both humans and electronic devices. Just as electronic devices often malfunction due to overload or minor glitches that can be resolved by simply turning them off and on, humans also benefit from stepping away from stress and routine. Unplugging—whether through physical rest, mental breaks, or engaging in self-care activities—allows us to clear our minds, regain perspective, and restore our energy. This brief pause can enhance our focus, creativity, and overall well-being, ultimately leading to improved performance in our daily lives.

Hermit Mode

Have you ever felt overwhelmed by the constant hustle and bustle of modern life? Do social interactions drain your energy, leaving you longing for solitude? If so, then you might be familiar with the concept of hermit mode.
Hermit mode is a term that has gained popularity in recent years to describe a state of voluntary seclusion from society. It's not about being anti-social or avoiding people altogether; it's more about taking time for yourself and prioritizing self-care.
In today's fast-paced world, where we are constantly bombarded with information and expected to always be available, hermit mode offers a much-needed break. It allows us to recharge our batteries, reflect on our lives, and reconnect with ourselves.
During hermit mode, we intentionally disconnect from social media, limit our interactions with others, and focus on activities that bring us joy and fulfillment. This could include reading books, practicing meditation or yoga, pursuing hobbies or passions that have taken a backseat due to our busy schedules.
One of the key benefits of hermit mode is increased self-awareness. By spending time alone without distractions, we can delve deep into our thoughts and emotions. We gain clarity about what truly matters to us and identify areas in our lives that need attention or improvement. This introspection can lead to personal growth and a better understanding of ourselves.
Moreover, hermit mode provides an opportunity for rest and relaxation. Our minds and bodies need downtime to function optimally. In the solitude of hermit mode, we can sleep longer hours if needed, take naps throughout the day when we feel tired, or simply enjoy moments of stillness and silence. These periods of rest help reduce stress levels and promote overall well-being.
Another advantage of hermit mode is the freedom it brings from external expectations. When we retreat from society temporarily, we release ourselves from societal pressures and the need to conform. Instead of worrying about fitting in or meeting societal norms, we can focus on our own desires and aspirations. This newfound freedom allows us to explore our creativity, try new things, and follow paths that truly resonate with us.
However, it's important to note that hermit mode should not be confused with isolation or social withdrawal due to mental health issues. While solitude can be beneficial for everyone, those struggling with anxiety or depression may require professional support. It's crucial to seek help if you find yourself unable to engage in healthy social interactions or experience persistent feelings of loneliness.
Hermit mode offers a valuable opportunity for self-care and personal growth in today's fast-paced world. By deliberately retreating from society for a period of time, we can recharge our energy, gain self-awareness, and prioritize our well-being. So next time you feel overwhelmed by the demands of everyday life, consider taking some time off and embracing the peacefulness of hermit mode.

Nope.
Sometimes, restriction is good. Saying no is good. Not seeing something you don't need to see at the moment is good. Not knowing is for your benefit.
Social media and peoples opinions have created narratives that we MUST have, we MUST know, we MUST be there... or my favorite, we MUST be offended and angry. And in reality... no, we don't. The weight of certain situations is not for us to carry.
This is a big human issue now, we have access to TO MUCH. We were not meant to live and have access to so many peoples opinions and thoughts and issues. And we are weighed down, and we don't even know it till we get to ourselves and live OUR life. Without the suggestions, without so much information.
A little bit of music, a few good books at a time, a good community, good environment is all you need. It's not about the money. It's not about what you don't have. It's about enjoying the moment. This moment. These moments.
Embrace yourself. Embrace your life. Someone else would love your issues. Don't be so hard on yourself. Give God what is due to Him, and life your life.
Life is what YOU make it. So simple to say, but you must create that peace, that space... don't allow other people or to much info to ruin your life. Be at peace, shugg. ❤️

Sometimes the best way to recharge is unplug, enjoy nature, enjoy a book or bond with your loved ones! 🩷
