Night Vale Presents is a podcast network known for the popular podcast Welcome to Night Vale, as well as some significantly less popular, but still good, podcasts such as The Orbiting Human Circus of the Air, Alice Isn’t Dead, Within the Wires, Dreamboy, and Unlicensed. This blog will — with enough interest — run a Big (or Reverse) Bang for either all of these podcasts at once, or separate them into multiple fandoms — what we choose depends on the results of the interest checks.
Inspired by @pilesofnonsense’s Rusty Quill Big Bang.

TFClub Battle Roller Arcee was apparently too cool for 2009 to get released. obsessed with her bling / purple spark. also we would have gotten a faceplate Arcee she honestly looks kind of Maxima as a car before Maxima was even conceptualized. love that she still has back stacks. source here

Introducing Night Vale Presents described!
[Plain Text: Introducing Night Vale Presents described!]
Howdy! This is a blog inspired by @rq-described, dedicated to adding descriptions and transcripts to all fanworks of shows by Night Vale Presents. This includes Welcome to Night Vale, Random Number Generator Horror Podcast No. 9, Alice Isn’t Dead, Within the Wires, Good Morning Night Vale, I Only Listen to the Mountain Goats, Dreamboy, Unlicensed, Start with This, Our Plague Year, and The Orbiting Human Circus.
As part of this blog, we’ll be compiling all already described fanworks. If you’re a blog that makes descriptions or transcriptions, then feel free to reach out to us.
We’ll be trying to describe and transcribe things we find on our own, compile described and transcribed fanworks, and describe and transcribe stuff submitted to us. You can submit links with asks or submissions, and tag us in posts you want us to describe or transcribe.
All descriptions and transcriptions are allowed and encouraged to be added to original posts.
On another note, saying “we” in this introduction was perhaps dishonest, because I am but one person. [Plain text: “On another not, saying “we” in this introduction was perhaps dishonest, because I am but one person.” crossed out.]
As of 17 July 2023, we are three people! If anyone wants to be a mod, then feel free to fill in this form to apply.
(Below is edit log)
4 July 2023: Second mod added.
7 July 2023: Tagging us in posts to transcribe is encouraged, descriptions and transcriptions are encouraged to be added to original posts, edit log added.
17 July 2023: Third mod (sort of) added.
27 July 2023: Third mod actually added.

Repost from my Instagram; my personal collection of the bootleg trading card game "Goddess's story"
It features a lot of stolen artwork 💀 I buy them from anime themed events, I do not in any way promote art theft. If you know the original sources of any of those images please let me know!

You ever play any bootleg games? Either intentionally or unknowingly?
I've partaken a few, sure. A little Squirrel King, a little Sonic 4 SNES, the almost-good port of Mega Man X3 to the Genesis, the almost-good port of Super Mario World to the NES, the almost-good port of Donkey Kong Country 2 to the NES.
I tried to play the fixed-up version of the Final Fantasy VII NES bootleg, but I could never get into it.
youtube
I like retro RPGs (I may even prefer them), but I think I draw the line at NES RPGs. A little too dated for me.
And, of course, who could forget Somari and the increasing efforts to turn it into a decent Sonic game.
I definitely used to seek out and mess around with bootlegs. But you play enough of them and you eventually realize they're almost always universally bad in some way, even the ones that are supposedly "good."
Never did get around to trying Titenic though. By all accounts, that just looks like a regular-ass NES game. Not even fair to call it a bootleg. But I've never had hands-on.
