akechi's rank 3 is the gift that keeps giving because the intro before it starts confirms that:

akechi has an in-universe fandom

said fandom pays close attention to his whereabouts, who he hangs out with, etc.

akechi monitors what's being said about him online

and since he by his own admission doesn't really have any other close friends, this means that as his confidant progresses, his fanbase is undoubtedly like "who is this mysterious glasses guy who keeps hanging out with akechi? why are they hitting up popular date spots?”

and like, internet gonna internet. half his fanbase thinks they're dating. another faction ships him with the leader of the phantom thieves. akechi watches this go down while experiencing the full spectrum of human emotion. someone says ren looks kind of generic and akechi is seconds from penning a defensive response on his burner account before he's like "what the fuck am i even doing" and clears 4 floors of mementos in one go to cope.

Tonight's poolverine thought is just Logan rubbing his beard all over Wade's face to scent him because he's been holding himself back from claiming him for so long and something triggered his possessiveness.

Bonus point if there's some deep chest rumbling happening as he does so. I also wonder if Logan would do biscuits like cats do in these moments with only the very tips of claws coming in and out as to not hurt Wade.

So I just rewatched Star Trek, the first bit, and I just have to say that William Shatner truly is an excellent actor because I adore Captain Kirk. I do. I would swear my undying loyalty, don a red shirt, do everything he asks of me and follow him to the ends of the universe but if William Shatner tried the same thing I would punch him in the face.

I find it really funny how Peter was scared by all of the bats that he met but it was his dad that made him crack and accidentally show his fear outwardly

also they way you describe Peter’s view of magic is so good and gives a great idea of how things work in both universe’s

to be fair to peter, he's met people with magic before. but a guy with barely any heartbeat? that would freak me out too! like mf how are you standing up rn!! especially since peter uses heartbeats as a way to tell where people are and what they're feeling

Just read the panel of a comic whereas Clark openly admit to Bruce's face that after being friends for so long, he memorized Bruce's heartbeat already just as much as how he managed to memorized Lois'... Does he not realize how gay their stance is on that panel and by saying that makes it even 1000× gayer? Wdym ypu casually just remembered your best bro's heartbeat just like how you memorized your girlfirend's heartbeat??????????????

Team Sonic is currently at a ratio of 2:1 because Sonic and Knuckles are "shoot first, ask questions later" kinda guys, but with Amy joining the team, Tails will no longer be the only Rational One™

You're absolutely right. Sonic and Knuckles are indeed more of a team that "hits first and asks questions later". So much so that in the conflict with Shadow, Tails was the only one who didn't think of attacking without a plan. And with Amy joining the group, I believe that she will at least support him in his plans beforehand, especially since I theorise that Amy's chaos powers will manifest as temporal manipulation and the ability to see the past and future, powers that are more strategic than brute force like Sonic, Shadow and Knuckles.

However, I also believe that Amy will have her own distinct position. She is less impulsive and prone to planning, clearly devised the best way to save Sonic in the post-credits, but we have to remember that canonically… Amy is completely unhiged.

She has her emotions on edge, loves adventure to escape her mundane life and wields a giant hammer that requires insane brute force. She is as strong as Knuckles and as prone to throwing herself into chaos and fighting as Sonic, but her strategic streak (and dare say prone to tech because that hammer was totally robotic) make her more similar to Tails.

And here comes another theory of mine: while Amy has her own personality, she has traits that open to friendship with the three boys on Team Sonic while maintaining her unique traits: empathy, unconditional love, and most importantly, iron persistence and an incorruptible morale of hope and kindness.

I pity anyone studying history at univeristy of orlais trying to write their thesis during inquisition, with Inquisitor and the team stumbling over new historical facts every five seconds (tyrdda bright axe, here you go an entire saga and btw she was a mage; dragonology an entire text from ancient tevinter; whay happened at the red crossing here you go; dwarven ruins boom hissing wastes; INQUISITOR AMERIDAN)

"I can't wait to publish my paper on the collapse of the Kirkwall Circle and the Mage/Templar War! I'm so glad the conclave is next week and I can wrap it all up!" *conclave explodes in the distance*

No, legitimately though, it must be equally exciting and frustrating to be anybody in the research/educational field in Thedas when literally every ten minutes the Inquisitor is tripping over some new historical artifacts or history! Just giving a lecture and then having a dozen hands pop up to object because the Inquisitor discovered something a few days ago. And since the majority of those discoveries are related to the elves I imagine the Orlesian's would be annoyed as hell that they can't really 'control' the narrative or information getting out.

I thought it was really cool that we got to see a little bit of that in Jaws of Hakkon? I'm a sucker for history in general, so hearing Professor Kenric go on about buckles and using them to date battles/artifacts pleased my little nerd heart. I also loved his little mnemonic to remember the elven pantheon! Solas's terse "most people do" when Kenric says he's forgotten Fen'Harel makes me laugh every time.

I would have loved to have picked up a codex entry that was an excerpt of his book on Inquisitor Ameridan! In general, I love that DLC and Ameridan so much - that must have absolutely caused a riot at the university when it was revealed (if the inquisitor chose to). In general I think more media should incorporate archeology into it...it's just such a cool thing and a great world-building tool.

I am a big worldbuilding bitch. When I make soulmate AUs I have fully stopped thinking abt the main pairing, and have started working out the entire world and society and all of the soulmates every canon character I find compelling would have, or would not have, depending on the context of the AU and the character

So what I'm trying to say is that I started making a Coldflash AU where soulmates can hear each other's heartbeat and now I'm in a worldbuilding pit that I can't crawl out of
