Hey welcome to the tournament where we see which Tumblr Blorbo is most obscure by making it to where you can only vote for characters you don't know!
Rules: You may only vote for characters you DON'T KNOW. Interpret that however you please.
You can see the full bracket here (first 5 rounds) and here (final rounds). Or a spreadsheet of all the competitors here.
On said spreadsheet, some characters are marked in blue. That means I still need images for the character. Fanart is allowed if official images don't exist, but please get permission on my behalf to use it.
Ask box is open, but please read the FAQ first. Additionally, if you want to sabotage a character, or just can't help but gush about your blorbo, send some propaganda to my askbox.
Ps there is a collection of common tags below to find stuff easier

Another thing I love about hanahaki is the options for flower symbolism, but like, let's take it a step further
In Wisteria AU obviously Kokichi grows wisteria, which yeah--purple flower to be expected--HOWEVER
I am UNWELL about the symbolic cultural significance of JAPANESE wisteria okay? Love and the transience of time, both longevity and brevity, it speaks a lot I think to how Kokichi's true morals shine at the center of everything he does as a Supreme Leader. He values people and life. Beyond that, though, in Japanese culture wisteria is also a common symbol of good luck to humans, and a protection against or weakness to demons and evil.
Which really is Kokichi's goal, to protect everyone's lives the best he can from the evils of Monokuma and the Killing Game.
Let's go a step FURTHER though because I love to twist the knife when it comes to hanahaki.
Wisteria is TOXIC to humans when ingested.
Yeah that's right. Imagine that, Kokichi's high expectations of himself ultimately becoming his downfall. Poisoning him from the inside out as he puts everyone else's well being before his own, to the point of making everyone believe he's the evil one pulling the strings just to get the killing to stop and everyone to focus on a common enemy.
Imagine in Wisteria AU, Kokichi coughing up gobs of wisteria flowers and having to hold them under his tongue until he can sneak away to spit them out.
He can't just swallow them. They're toxic!
They have an oil on them that irritates the skin. His mouth is full of rashes, his lungs constantly burn.
Being torn apart and poisoned from within by his own morals and sense of duty, because he can't escape his nature as a liar that used to be so safe with his family in DICE, but no one in his class understands what he means, so even when he DOES tell the truth, it feels unexpressed when everyone around him just thinks he's lying again.
Do you see? Do you see the vision???

didn’t jean not want to be court? i mean i don’t think he’s better than kevin but i thought the ec implied he could’ve been and decided he didn’t want it at all
well, whether jean wanted it or not, the ec still says jean didn't make the cut for court, which means he wasn't good enough for it either by his own choice or a lack of interest in progressing enough to be in the olympics
