President Trump sat at his desk surrounded by a hand picked team of correspondents. Someone in the corner of the room was talking about increasing taxes for people and families who have a higher-than-average annual income.

Trump immediately stopped pretending to write in his notepad (everyone on his team was well aware of his struggles with literacy, but no one ever called him out on never having any actual notes, or coherent words in any of the countless notebooks that he had filled). He jerked his head in the direction of the person speaking, causing a few stray strands of hair to dance, gracefully, through the air to catch up with his scalp.

Just then, the air in the room filled with a smell so bad that people began gagging and covering their faces. “What is that smell?!”

It wasn’t sewage or flatulence, it was rot. It was death, decomposition, and old food all trapped in this one, semi-crowded room.

President Trump stuck his nose in the air in an attempt to smell what everyone else was making such a big deal about.

His team froze. There, growing within the folds of his neck skin, like a helpless infant baby, grew something that could be found in the back of the refrigerator months after its expiration date.

His lead correspondent spun to face a lady who was cowering behind him. “God dammit Susan, this is your job!! How many times have I told you? You have to get in ALL of the crevices!!”

Susan was fired for her negligence.

Americans, I know we're going through it, but why do I keep seeing stuff like "I'm sorry world, we'll fix this in 4 years"? But like... what do you mean "4 years"?

We have midterm in 2026, yearly local elections, special elections, primaries, etc.

We have the right (dare I say responsibility) to contact our representatives and the right to organize and protest if/when they don't listen.

We need to find a meaningful way to educate people about propaganda and media literacy. We need to convince people to be willing to educate themselves. The habit of only checking in to politics on presidential election years needs broken.

I understand how defeating today feels, but we, especially those of us who could conceivably make it through these four years unscathed, need to stop this proactive surrender.

Just to be clear, Kamala conceded with grace and dignity but it is still well within everyone’s right to demand an investigation and even a recount with due cause despite a winner being declared. U.S.Americans have the right to demand free and fair elections (we don’t have a right to, say, start an insurrection like certain people did after the 2020 election).

Many, including major swing states, (Nevada, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and more) have already admitted to data and ballots not being recognized or lost and are recounting or calling for a recount. It usually takes days to count and record votes, a day after a bunch of election tampering is not enough.

If you used a mail-in ballot and haven’t yet, check if it was actually counted and “recognized.” A lot of mail-in voters from swing states found out that their ballots were uncounted today.
