There are benefits to living on a mimic ship. This is not one of them :)

Bit of lore below the cut for those who are curious

Meet The Wanderer's Jaws! A living ship with a reputation as wide as her grin, and home to Wraith and their crew!

How exactly a mimic of such colossal size managed to survive for so long is a question almost as contested as the truth of the ship's existence; while every sailor has heard of the Wanderer and the fearsome Captain Nautilus who guides her, few have encountered the ship and lived to tell the tale. Those who have survived tell frightening tales of a beast that eats the ships that challenge her and savors the flesh of their crews, or of a captain with teeth as sharp as the monster he steers. And, as of recent, the sailors have started spinning new tales. Stories of something strange being kept aboard the monster, something that shifts it's faces like the sea shifts it's tides, a ghost that had once haunted the merchant's seas brought into the fold of the Wanderer's crew. Of course, such things are just rumors among those who cannot prove such a ship even exists.

Wraith has lived aboard the Wanderer's Jaws for four years now; like the rest of her crew, they've come to be unphased by the eccentricites of the Wanderer, and love her as one of their own. They rarely leave the safety of the ship, knowing the world beyond is dangerous for a hybrid as strange as them, and as such they've developed a very close bond with the giant mimic. It's just as well; separated from their crew as they are now, their bond with the ship may be what saves them. Still, a mimic needs to eat, and now it's up to Wraith to keep her fed. Perhaps following a pirate into the maw of a mimic wasn't the smartest idea...

Benny x Courier but the Courier is increasingly in denial for their feelings for Benny cause they see him as this loser pretty city boy Vegas type and they slowly (or rather quickly) realize that there were in fact reasons why Benny was able to manipulate so many people, infiltrate the Fort and avoid serious injury for all of it.

Like surprise the corniest loser you know is actually pretty badass and you kinda find that infuriatingly attractive.

I’m very tired of the claim that comic books are difficult to get into because they aren’t- they are very purposefully not that way. Comics actually go out of their way to explain every single thing to you constantly just in case you’re a new reader picking up this issue(or if you skipped a few issues).

I’ll concede they seem hard to get into from the outside but comics ARE NOT hard to get into you dont even need to follow a reading list or start at issue one just pick up a book.

A list of things Kohei Horikoshi one hundo percent intended for us to understand about Hisashi Midoriya, because he definitely implied them uh somewhere in text (next to social structures and a functioning bureaucracy) (Izuku Midoriya substitute teacher is so fucking funny to me tbh like Horikoshi really said bb ur a glorified babysitter till ur bestie gets his money up) (Him being Bakugou's sugar baby hero is SO fucking stupid I wish I could've come up w that)

He could have cut off the arm or the hand itself to achieve the same effect. No, he cuts the tendons. This is even more chilling when you know that Xuandu Mt. also teaches medicine. Shen Qiao knows the human body so well he can cut out a man's tendons while in combat.

boycott fatigue is actually the stupidest fucking thing ever because how in the ever loving fuck are you experiencing “fatigue” from not going to Starbucks. how is not watching rushed cgi on disney+ and not eating a breaded slime nugget at McDonald’s “fatiguing” you. genuinely how fucking dare this even exist as a concept. entire bloodlines, children, newborns are dying slow and bloody and all of these companies are giving Israel the money to do that. they’re using YOUR fucking money to do this. and look, practically every war has been funded out of our pockets by a means we can’t fight around. almost all of the food and drink we have in the states is owned by some large corporation that makes it fucking impossible to not give them money because they are the sole providers. I understand there are some things we can’t boycott because of our own needs. but this isn’t basic needs that we are being asked to boycott. it’s fucking Disney+ and McDonald’s and Starbucks and a whole slew of luxuries that you’re not only capable of living without, but would actually be better off entirely without.

there’s been a lot of talk about how privileged we are to only be witnessing this human rights atrocity through phones or news and being able to get away from it with a button click and that’s entirely real, but the fact that somebody out here just felt soooo inconvenienced by not going to a drive thru for overpriced garbage that they literally coined the phrase “boycott fatigue,” is probably the biggest load of privileged dog shit I’ve seen in the past few days. do you want to know who’s actually experiencing fatigue right now? the millions of displaced families in Gaza without homes anymore. without any clean water to drink because it’s either been poisoned by the Israelis or contaminated with their peoples’ blood. the children without enough food to get by, or without any food at all. the injured and sick and disabled Palestinians who don’t have access to any medical aid for themselves because their hospitals and fuel trucks are being bombed. these people who have absolutely nothing but each other, and not even that in the worst circumstances, who can only keep walking for days on end, hungry and thirsty and in pain and unable to do anything about it. that is real fucking fatigue.

I understand we’re all seeing war crimes and death and atrocities that nobody should ever have to see and yes it’s difficult to process, but the people of Palestine are experiencing these atrocities in real time, every day, every hour. every ten fucking minutes a child dies. They aren’t even asking for help anymore. They’re only asking to be witnessed and remembered and for us to stop going to places that actively fund their deaths and you’re saying you just can’t because you’re exhausted by not going to that place? I know we’re all born and raised in a consumerist hellscape but you seriously need to get a fucking reality check if offering the bare minimum support to a dying people is ‘fatiguing’ to you. Jesus fucking Christ.
