Usha Martin University is celebrating its annual sports and cultural festival - 'UshMa-23' 

Usha Martin University is organizing its Annual Sports and Cultural Festival - 'Ushma-23' from 20.03.2023 to 23.03.2023. Honourable Mr Hemant Goyal, Chairman of Usha Martin University, inaugurated the festival. He said that today Usha Martin University is making a distinct identity in education. Along with it, it is also progressing continuously in sports and cultural fields, and this festival will be a milestone.

He lauded and appreciated the hard work put in by all the staff and students of the university for successfully organizing the festival. The university is moving forward with the resolve for the overall development of its students, he encouraged all the participants as well as talked about establishing the world-class sports facilities by the university so that the students can bring laurels to the university and the state on the national and international stage. 

On the first two days of this four-day festival, Sports competitions have been organized for the students, including cricket, badminton, chess, carrom, long jump, and races in different categories. In the last two days, cultural programs were organized.

The final matches of sports competitions will be held on the second day. In contrast, on the third and fourth days of the fest, there will be programs like singing, dancing, skits and standup comedy, along with a performanceby the famous musical band of Ranchi.

Registrar Dr Anil Kumar Mishra, Deputy Registrar Dr Leena Srivastava, Controller of Examination Dr Vinay Singh, Dean, Student Welfare Dr Sharmistha and all the staff and students were present on occasion.
