i watched major crimes like my life depended on it. after the way laura roslin shuffled off the fictional mortal coil, i never thought the same fate would happen to darth raydor. it felt like a last minute grab for ratings and not very well thought out or planned. when will television shows learn that you don't have to kill everyone off or do something utterly uncharacteristic to end a show (case in point: the finale of "somebody somewhere").

the use of parental death to further the character development of the child is 1) overdone, 2) to make up for a lack of creativity and original ideas.

i'm a shandy shipper and a brenda/sharon shipper, but i hated how unoriginal the whole sharon and andy storyline was. it seemed so predictable. i wanted better. yes, i was glad to see them together, but i didn't like how it was done. i got the feeling that duff didn't have his heart in it the last season and put minimal effort in.

Never gonna forgive James Duff for killing Willie Rae Johnson. Or Sharon Raydor. Or ruining literally every character we loved like it’s so wild.

sirius self-isolates post-prank. he and remus have a blowup fight in which they breakup, james is siding with remus, etc etc. barty, the nosy bitch that he is, needs to know what happened between them. so he cozies up to sirius at a party who is alone, vulnerable, and drinking heavily. they hook up, it's insane, so they keep doing it. randomest couple in the world to those on the outside but pretty soon they're only talking to each other

their relationship is VOLATILE. sirius quickly like. morphs into barty crouch jr. they enable one another's recklessness/self destructiveness so bad. but sirius is lonely and barty provides ample distraction from all the shit with his friends. meanwhile barty is experiencing a confusing amount of human emotion - i think he would actually have feelings for sirius, which actually makes him kind of hate him. he tries to keep it as casual as possible (in name only, because nothing else about them is casual) and is constantly doing sirius dirty/cheating/gaslighting the shit out of him etc. they fight all the time, screaming, physical fights and then they fuck nasty. theyre also always getting into some crazy shit, record-breaking numbers of detentions for them both. they break up like four times a week and it lasts two hours

it's a tragedy. barty has real feelings, sirius is using him as a distraction. barty picks up on that first and becomes determined to try and ruin sirius so his friends won't want him anymore regardless. it doesn't work, remus forgives sirius, and the relationship doesn't last very long after that

Don't get me wrong, the fight scenes in The Acolyte were well done and probably my favorite in terms of Disney Star Wars, but they're not even remotely on the same level as Duel of the Fates from The Phantom Menace or the train station fight in The Matrix.
