Daily Instrument — Udu

The udu is an idiophone talking drum from Nigeria and Ghana. The udu is a vase-like claypot with a two holes. It’s played by tapping, and moving your hand over the pot’s hole. And the sound the udu can make are of great variety. The clay pots were originally used to hold water, grain and honey by igbo women. But eventually developed into an instrument by the women, played in ceremonies

SpaceX, Starlink uydularının bir sonraki grubunu alçak Dünya yörüngesine fırlattı. Falcon 9 roketi, Florida'daki Cape Canaveral'daki fırlatma rampasından 8:53 EDT'de gerçekleştirildi. Falcon 9 fırlatma aracının ilk aşaması, kalkıştan yaklaşık 8 dakika sonra Dünya'ya geri döndü ve SpaceX'in Atlantik Okyanusu'ndaki insansız açık deniz platformu A Shortfall of Gravitas'a yumuşak, kontrollü bir iniş yaptı. The Drew Brothers

Here's more insight on the Drew brothers for my Mouse House AU, particularly what they do at work with a bit of backstory. The three of them have gone through a lot back at the studio when they were young and now that they grew up they try to make ends meet in Toon Town; one of them clearly dealing with things better than the others.

Thank you @etruski for tagging me for "9 books i plan to read this year", only the thing is i don't really plan my reading ahead 😅 the only new book (graphic novel) i really plan to read is "Teeth of God" (whenever my copy should find its way to this side of atlantic)

Meanwhile I have yet to finish reading:

"In the Roses of Pieria" by Anna Burke

"Lingvistiline mets" by Valdur Mikita

"Tevinter Nights" now that I'm actually familiar with some of the characters

"The Masked Empire" by Patrick Weekes

"Piiririik" by Emil Tode

And a book that I probably won't finish and toss aside for good: "Udu ja maru koda". And won't recommend it.
