Sébastien has, in Calahan's words, a name so long that it doesn't fit on a standard name tag: Sébastien Theodore Phoenix Sawyer Thatcher Landon Nicholas Gallagher-Kerring

He has quite the tumultuous relationship with his father where he's constantly torn between pleasing him and completely defying him any chance he gets

His mother is a well-known French artist who married Frank-Gerald out of love but soon discovered the man only wanted a heir and had utmost trouble staying faithful and keeping up the promises of a 'dream life' he wooed her with

His father would do anything to keep up apperances hence why any transgressions and attempts at rebellion Séb makes are quickly buried in the press. Same goes for his inevitable divorce to Gisèle that resulted in an airtight NDA, hefty settlement to 'keep her happy' (his words) and strict conditions for seeing their only son. Thanks to his team of lawyers, to the outside world their failed marriage remained picture perfect.

Séb is set to inherit his father's empire when he turns 25, over which he harbors an array of conflicting emotions: if he should leave it all behind and essentially tell 'old Gerry' to fuck off or would it mean his father would win and everything he (and his mère) went through would have been for nothing.

His most recent act of rebellion is the reason Sébastien ends up stuck in Hope County in his own version of 'Princess Heir Protection Program' with a cult twist. You can guess who becomes the Carter Mason to his Princess Rosalinda

Frank-Gerald is a big-game hunter and considered their yearly (and nonnegotiable) father-son hunting trips as perfect bonding time. Séb blames turning vegetarian on him.

Sébastien is a collector at heart, especially when it comes to first editions of items. His fashion sense is even stronger, so you can imagine how hard he takes being stranded with just the clothes on his back (outfit includes a ruined yellow Skydiving suit he cannot live down and is the source of many jokes and nicknames Calahan has for him) and the closest closet full of brands being John's.

I don't talk too much about Séb but he's on my mind all the same so consider this a Wip Whenever tag, it's been a while <3

I recall my arrival quite vividly—everything that surrounded me had, at once, faded into black, and my body became terribly cold. It was sharp and painful... I wondered if this was the Death that I had been investigating... until I suddenly woke up in a city that I had never been to before. Under any other circumstance, I would have found it deeply troubling. But thanks to Mr. Gallagher, I eventually came to learn the truth surrounding Dreamflux Reef and felt deeply moved. (Robin smiles fondly.) It's such a wonderful corner of the Universe. The people, the buildings, the freedom that lives within it—I love it all. I believe there is no truer reflection of the Dreamscape than this place. It does not have the glamour of any of the Moments in Penacony, but the song of Harmony echoes loudly throughout its alleyways. It is a dream that is sweet. Truly, truly sweet. It comforts me to know that such a place exists despite everything. Of course, it can only continue to exist thanks to the hard work of Mr. Gallagher and Mr. Micah. Though I am not a local... I hope I can help protect it as well. I'll certainly do all that I can.

Mickey can see it in his face. The panic. The paranoia.

“Ian…” He tries his best to approach with caution, hands out in surrender.

“Mick…” Ian scratches desperately at his arms.

“I think it's time to head to the clinic.”

A plea. A cry for help.

“No! No…” Mickey is just happy he didn’t run this time. That he trusts Mickey to take care of him.

“Ian. It’s time. What’s this, the second time this week?”

“Maybe. How do I know it’ll help?” He retreats back in on himself, scared of the answer.

“You don’t.

It’s a leap of faith.”

On top of Lip taking his frustrations out on Debbie, which is wrong, it's like the writers were using the characters to mirror the fanbase's negative feelings toward Debbie. Like Ian when says he tries not to let Debbie think she's right. Where did that come from? Ian's never had any issues with Debbie, they've always been on good terms.

oh my god, this is exactly what i’ve been thinking! the show tends to do that a lot, they see that the fanbase doesn’t like a character so they completely change how other characters view them (kinda like mickey in season 6 except not really). and ian and debbie had been on great terms! debbie said that ian is her favorite sibling and they’ve always really cared about eachother (i’ll list a few), and it’s really weird how they had everyone randomly turn on debbie in the last season. in my opinion, debbie was incredibly reasonable in season 11 and i think that she was kind of (emphasis on kind of because she had a weird ending) getting her shit together. honestly i think that all of the moments that people hate debbie for, the writers weren’t trying to antagonize her, so by the end they saw that people hated her and so they had other characters view her badly. like she even says to sandy that she has her entire family trying to leave her, and she does. it’s sad because by the end (seasons 9 through 11) she just seems so desperate and lonely for love that she’ll take what she can get, which ends up being heidi.

Hi hi!! Ty for the ask!

The short answer is: not at all! she's human!

Long answer: her maternal family descends from spirits (these being fairies) and uses them for the source of their magic (elemental). Those with the aptitude can see, interact and use them. In addition, they have enormous concentration of mana, which as a side effect alters their bodies slightly — big pointy ears! so they were referred to as "elves" by their peers (in reference to folklore creatures, and tbh they might have originated some haha) because of their unique appearance. they're humans, but with long ears and great connection to mana, and thus, very strong in raw power.

The family, however, was dwindling in numbers over the course of time, and they feared vanishing entirely. So, that's where marriages with other mages come in, but its not any different from regular mages marrying strong families to pass on their magic crests, really. Nerine's mom married an alchemist mage.

Unfortunately for Nerine, she didn't inherit her mom's magic/aptitude, so she was ostracised by her and went on to inherit her father's magic crest instead. She made sort of a roundabout way to be able to use fairies in her magic via alchemy, and being able to increase her mana concentration temporarily (thus her ears grow for this short period of time), but she's still much weaker than her family. Her younger sister was the one who inherited her mother's magic, so they didn't get along very well.

Furthermore, after participating in her 2nd holy grail war (she died in her 1st and was brought back to life for a 2nd via an anomalous grail), she ended up winning and wished to be able to restore her declining family's lineage and be able to see the fairies. So now she has perma big ears! (she also found the hidden "elf" association and studied under them… and she has a Very Big lifespan now, but thats not important here w)

Anyway, the biggest reason i made her like this is because i LOVE elves. thats all really. so i made a way for it to exist in my fate au and for nerine to be like, an "elf" ojou. spirits, mystical beasts, all that jazz exists in fate already so its not entirely unreasonable. hahahaha
