Vil Charm Campaign: Results & Shop Update!

Hi there! I have momentarily returned from the circle of hell known as 'Grad Project' to update y'all on some important things.

So, the most important part is; we didn't reach enough charm sales to continue the OB series.

Since I did still receive orders and the Grim charm did heaps better than the Vil charm, I was able to use my earnings from the pride Grimmys to order 15 Vil charms to fulfill the orders of the people who did buy, and I also sold some Vils in a fair I go to locally. I do think that if I hadn't promoted the Vil and Pride charms at the same time, it probably would've done better. but hey, that's a lesson taken.

As for Grim charms, I bought a couple extra to sell at cons and do have some leftovers. I have to point out, though, that these are very limited and I will not do another preorder campaign until pride month 2025.

3-Charm Bundle

While the Overblot series is on hiatus at the moment, I'll be offering a 3-charm bundle for 30$ ! They include the Azul, Riddle and Vil charms, as well as an Overblot Vil sticker :^)

despite those posts I do advocate for buying secondhand and fan merch because

fanmerch is better than official 90% of the time TEE BEE AYCH

like I have alters turned on for buyee for the idia mercari search just in case the One Thing I want pops up and my reaction to 95% of it is “wow that’s cute… I don’t want it though” because most of it is just the same jpeg over and over on different things even though it goes for like $10 for a lot of a few things

meanwhile like, twst fan artists are so phenomenally creative. Like yeah the rings and official jewelry is really pretty and if I had the money I would /possibly/ consider it (but even then probably not compared to other sterling silver rings) but then you have like these gorgeous glasses chains I would get so much more mileage out of. (I want the Malleus ones SAUR bad when I get new glasses) Or things like fashion chokers based off characters that I’d also wear way more than official rings.

There are even Savanaclaw themed candles that are shaped like cacti because of Jack and like. There’s so much more love in fanmerch than there ever has been in official merch.

Idk what I’m getting at here. Basically things are nuanced and looking down on people for Not Boycotting when you are also not properly boycotting is shitty, but also that shit is way overpriced for the same jpeg over and over and you should buy fanmerch anyways.

I love you all twst fanmerch makers keep being creative and showing adoration for the series in such lovely ways and when I get a job you WILL be getting handsome payments from me xoxoxo

Vil has been one of my favorite designs from twst since ever, and aside from figuring out the patterns given how hidden they usually are, I'm so happy with how he turned out!

Are the twst arcana cards fanmerch that you bought? Is arcana just a card theme or is it similar to tarot cards?

honestly i don't know if it's fanmerch or not since it has ©disney on it 🤔 but their layouts are similar to tarot cards, and made with a cardboard-ish plastic i think
