Vil Charm Campaign: Results & Shop Update!
Hi there! I have momentarily returned from the circle of hell known as 'Grad Project' to update y'all on some important things.
So, the most important part is; we didn't reach enough charm sales to continue the OB series.
Since I did still receive orders and the Grim charm did heaps better than the Vil charm, I was able to use my earnings from the pride Grimmys to order 15 Vil charms to fulfill the orders of the people who did buy, and I also sold some Vils in a fair I go to locally. I do think that if I hadn't promoted the Vil and Pride charms at the same time, it probably would've done better. but hey, that's a lesson taken.
As for Grim charms, I bought a couple extra to sell at cons and do have some leftovers. I have to point out, though, that these are very limited and I will not do another preorder campaign until pride month 2025.
Riddle Charms
Right now, I have 3 Riddle charms in stock. I will restock once they run out!
Azul Charms
There's 18 in stock right now, so plenty to go around until the next restock :^)
3-Charm Bundle
While the Overblot series is on hiatus at the moment, I'll be offering a 3-charm bundle for 30$ ! They include the Azul, Riddle and Vil charms, as well as an Overblot Vil sticker :^)
I will update the cover image and product images as soon as I have time... and as soon we get a sunny day here in BogotĂĄ
Stickers coming soon!
Will soon make stickers and sticker packs! For the fair I made some stickers of my mascot, as well as plenty of Grimmy pride stickers, so I'll be adding them to the shop as soon as I figure out a price.

Full Masterlist // Javier Peña Masterlist
You couldnât sleep.
Well, you couldnât fall back asleep.ïżœïżœ
When you got back to the ranch earlier that evening you had eaten a sandwich, taken a shower and fallen asleep as soon as your head had fallen against your pillow.Â
It had been a long day of taking care of all the horses and making sure the barn was secured for the night.Â
The heavy rain outside must have woken you up, the storm that had been forecasted for earlier that day now raging outside. You sat yourself up on your tiny single bed, parting the curtains so you could look into the darkness outside.Â
Sometimes, when you were sitting in the small room Chucho Peña had provided you after you had shown up on his ranch out of the blue, asking if he needed any help with the animals you asked yourself how your life had ended up like this.
In your mid thirties, divorced, without any money, working as a ranch hand (though you were more of a all around hand, mostly tasked with taking care of the house, food and garden).
Chucho had seen something in you and he had quickly become the father you never had.Â
And then his son Javier had come home.Â
It was instant, at least for you, the attraction you felt towards him.Â
He was tall, dark and handsome and there was something in his eyes familiar to you. It was the same hurt you saw in yours every time you looked into the mirror.Â
And it took a while for him to warm up to you, the past years he had spent in Colombia haunting his every thought.
Getting used to that strange woman that was now living in his childhood home, laughing with his father in the kitchen.Â
The woman that was sleeping in the tiny guest bedroom next to his childhood bedroom that he lived in yet again, because he had not idea what to do with his life.Â
The woman he fucked for the first time after a fourth of July celebration almost two years ago, fireworks going off while he was balls deep inside of you on the backseat of his truck in the parking lot of the already closed gas station he had stopped at on your way home.Â
You hadnât really stopped since then.Â
For more than two years you had been sleeping with Javier whenever you both felt like it.Â
But that was all it was.Â
Sex.Â
Because you both werenât ready for more. Or to name these⊠feelings you had whenever you were in each otherâs arms.Â
Thunder outside made you jump on the bed and you grabbed one of Javierâs flannel shirts you had stolen the week before, pulling it over your naked body.Â
You would tell him you were scared of thunder when he would wake up to you in his bed the next morning.Â
Because you could not tell him that the only way you found yourself sleeping lately, was in his arms.Â
Not yet.
He did not hear you as you opened the door, the heavy rain continuing to fall.Â
You had looked for him in his room, finding the bed still made. But there was a light on in the kitchen so you followed you intuition, finding him outside.Â
Javier was sitting in the far left corner of the porch, legs spread wide, a cigarette between his fingers, a tumbler of what would probably be whiskey in his other hand.Â
He was only wearing some sweatpants, the very same sweatpants that would make you forget what you wanted to say mid sentence when he had them on, or more like what was hiding beneath them.Â
You let the door fall shut behind you and he looked up, those dark brown eyes wandering up from your feet all over your body towards your eyes before he looked away again, bringing his cigarette back to his lips, inhaling the smoke deeply.Â
You both just stared out, the rain seemingly getting heavier before you heard him set his glass down on the ground. He spread his legs wider and you bit your lip before you slowly walked over to him, stopping as you stood between his legs for only a moment, before you climbed into his lap, the hand that had been holding his glass moments ago, coming down to rest on your ass immediately, making you shiver.Â
You reached for the cigarette between his lips, and he raised his eyebrows in confusion until you slipped it between yours so you could take a puff, his eyes softening in amusement. You felt his other hand slip under your shirt, his fingers brushing the underside of your tits.Â
âWas wondering where this shirt went,â he hummed and your lips twitched into a small smile as you took another puff of his cigarette before you threw it outside into the rain. He was about to complain when you crossed your arms behind his neck and brought you lips against his, his mouth opening against your as you exhaled the smoke from your lungs.Â
Closing your eyes as he kissed you, you brought one hand up to slip through his hair while his hands both now rested on your ass, his fingers digging into your skin as he pulled you closer against him, his hips thrusting up against yours, his cock hardening beneath you.Â
He spread your cheeks before one of his hands slipped further down and you felt him chuckle against you.
âNo panties and a half buttoned shirt. What a little slut you are,â he said, his voice hoarse and you gasped when you felt two of his fingers enter you, your slick coating your his fingers as he played with you.Â
âSays Mr. No shirt and no boxers, sitting outside with his legs spread like a whoâŠ. Fuck Javi right there,â you moaned, biting your lip as he moved his fingers inside of you.
âRight there?â He asked with a smirk and you nodded, looking down at him as you arched your back.Â
âTouched myself but couldnât⊠fuck⊠couldnât finish. Needed, neededâŠâ you whimpered.
âYour pussy needed me, huh?â He teased and you whined.Â
He made quick work of the few buttons that kept his shirt on you, his lips closing around one of your nipples, as soon as he had slipped his shirt down your shoulders, revealing your naked chest to him.Â
âJavi⊠PleaseâŠâ you moaned, one of your hands on his shoulders, holding on while your other hand was still in his hair, now pulling him against your tits as he sucked on one of them.Â
âWhat do you need, princess?â He mumbled.Â
âNeed your cock. Wanna cum on your cock. Please,â you begged and you felt his teeth pull at you nipple, making you hiss before he let go. His dark eyes looked up at you, before his fingers pulled out of you and he pushed his sweatpants down just so he could release his cock.Â
Before he could do anything you had him lined up with you and slowly sank down on him, both of you releasing a long moan.Â
Lightening made you jump before you sank down on his cock completely and Javier hissed, his arms coming around you to pull you closer, both of you breathing heavily before you both laughed.Â
âMaybe we should take this inside,â he said as he looked up at you, one of his hands brushing up and down your spine. You shook your head before you brushed your lips against his.Â
âNo. I want you just like this,â you whispered against his lips before you began to move your hips. He hummed, his hand now on the back of your head, pulling you against his lips so he could deepen the kiss, his tongue slipping between your lips to part them.Â
You rode him slowly.Â
One arm wrapped around his shoulders while your other hand rested on his chest.Â
Javiâs hand was on your ass, guiding the way you moved on top of him while his lips kissed whatever part of your skin he could reach.Â
The rain and the fact that you were out in the open were forgotten as he began to meet your hips, thrusting up into you. You wrapped both of your arms around him, moving on top of him so you could ride him deeper, your chest now in perfect height so he could suck on your tits.Â
âOh fuck Javi,â you moaned and he slapped your ass, fucking up into you, meeting your hips in audible smacks every time you skin collided.Â
You could feel the familiar tingles of your orgasm approaching.Â
âIâm close,â he warned and you whimpered.Â
âMe too,â you gasped, crying out when he bit into the soft flesh over your right nipple, marking you yet again.Â
âCum for me,â he grunted and you looked down at him.Â
âCum for me so I can take you inside and have you sit on my face until you pass out,â he continued and you let him take over, letting him fuck into you in quick hard thrusts as you orgasm took over, making you shake against him your fingers digging into his skin on his broad back as you held on to him.Â
âSuch a good slut for me,â he praised you, now chasing his own high, fucking into you a couple more times until you felt him spill himself inside of you, your name a deep rumble against you neck as he hugged you against his body.Â
You stayed just like this for a moment. In each others arms, out of breath, the rain still coming down heavy just outside the porch.Â
It was when he felt you shiver that you both came out of your post orgasm bliss. He pulled his shirt that you somehow still were half wearing back up over your shoulders, kissing you softly, a tired smile on his lips.Â
âWe should get inside,â he hummed against your lips. You nodded, yet none of you moved, being content just like this, close, in each others arms, deep in the night when nobody was awake to see you like this.Â
You could feel him drip of of you, his softening cock still inside of you.Â
âJavi?â You asked, your head resting against his shoulder.Â
âHm?â He kissed your temple.Â
âCan I sleep in your bed tonight?â You whispered. He was quiet for a moment and you were about to get up from him when his arms around you tightened and you looked at him.Â
âI⊠I suck at this,â he sighed and you tilted your head.Â
âSuck at what?â
âRelationships,â he mumbled and your eyes softened.Â
âIs that what this is?â You asked quietly and his eyes were big and he looked so so scared.Â
âIt could be, if you want that,â he finally said and you smiled. You reached one hand up so you could touch his cheek before you leaned in and kissed him softly.Â
âI do want that,â you mumbled and you felt him smile against your lips.
âYeah?â Javi asked and you nodded.Â
âGood, cause I am not letting you go ever,â he whispered, before kissed you again.Â

cw: karina is horribly manipulative, cartels, guns, selling, making, and use of drugs, use of weapons, murder, bombs, death, etc. this is about the colombian cartel ok shit is fucked.
ex: before thereâs any outrage I AM COLOMBIAN. all information is acquired through primary sources (ex: family who literally lived through it). most info will be accurate, but my family specifically lived in medellĂn, calĂ, and barranquilla. this is set in bogotĂĄ. apologies for any city-based in accuracies.
a/n: this is for you aettudae my #1 â€ïž
1964, Cundinamarca, Colombia Local time: 1:00 A.M. Location: a small town in Soacha, Cundinamarca, Colombia Objective: . . .
You were born on the outskirts of the city. BogotĂĄ, the capitalâ the inside was rich, used to be filled with tourists, big buildings and fancy cars. The outside was Ă©l pueblo, where youâd wake up at three in the morning, walk to the nearest bus stop, which was probably a few kilometers away, take the buses that never ran on time with the rest of the exhausted men and women heading to workâ work for rich people that ran the city till nightfall, get on another bus, and walk a few kilometers home, every day, constantly, while getting paid barely enough to support your family.
That was if you didnât get robbed, or blown up in the middle of the city, of courseâ political unrest stemming from La Violencia had made FARC, and the cartel had begun to ramp up production and organization, planting car bombs under public buses and cars. The country was rife with bombings and gang violence till the late 90âs.
But right now, it was in the very early morning.
You would be born in 1964 to a poor family living in Soacha, Cundinamarca, Colombia, right on the outskirts of BogotĂĄ. Your mother would be killed in 1970. Your father would be killed en la cantina, at night, in 1972.
You had been working since 12, anyway. Being told of your pathetic fatherâs death by a police officer who clearly did not care was when it was decidedâ you would not die in this town. You would make a name for yourself.
You were right, of course. You did make a name for yourselfâ you took down one of the most prominent cartel leaders in the country.
Or, at least, thatâs what the media thought.
LA VERDAD DE LO QUE PASĂ EN 1989. ââââââââââââââââââââââ THE TRUTH OF WHAT HAPPENED IN 1989.
1985, BogotĂĄ, Colombia Local time: 2:00 P.M. Location: Departamento Administrativo de Seguridad | Administrative Department of Security (DAS) HQ Objective: Enter the meeting
You made it into DAS at 21.
Really, it was probably just because the high-rank workers felt bad for you. They understoodâ a girl from the outer part near BogotĂĄ, no parentsâ you just wanted to make the country better for people like you.
You were given small jobs like paperwork and editing documents, until now. They were calling you in for your first meeting. Despite your usually serious nature, you couldnât help a bubble of excitement. Youâd finally be able to help like youâd always wanted.
which is why it was confusing why everyone was so somber when you walked in.
âGood morning,â you greeted, taking a seat.
âGood morning, y/n,â replied the woman who headed the ground-team. All your coworkers around her looked solemn, and you stared at them all puzzled.
âYour first assignment will be to infiltrate a specific branch of the BogotĂĄ cartelâ we fear they might be working with either FARC or plan to merge with another faction, and theyâre already quite dangerous as it isâ we donât need more of them,â
the room was silent. You knew what this wasâ your first year on the job with barely any training. They were sending you to die, just to get some information.
You sat up straight, squaring your shoulders. You would get the information to help your people. You would live.
âI understand,â you replied, with a nod, standing to collect your file.
The woman handing it to you leaned in, a pained look in her eyes âPerdĂłn,â
1985, BogotĂĄ, Colombia Local time: 10:54 P.M. Location: Una cantina Objective: Scout an in to the âorganizationâ
The woman in charge of the specific section of the widespread cartel that was causing so much destruction frequented a specific bar. You had been given her fileâ she was beautiful, with dark hair and pale skin, but she didnât seem to be colombian. It didnât really matter, to youâ you werenât here to ask her why sheâd made these choicesâ you needed to infiltrate one of the largest cartels in BogotĂĄ, on your first job.
you sighed, your head in your hands, the bartender giving you a cursory glance. The place was seedy, filled with alcoholics and sex-workers, as well as probable cartel members, which is why you were here.
You sat up, looking around. It was said Karina frequented this bar. You prayed sheâd show up, making the sign of the cross.
God deliveredâ she walked in, with two other people you didnât quite recognizeâ one had dark hair, as well, with big eyes, although her face was serious. The other was lithe, thinâ her hair was shorter, and lighter in color, more similar to a brown.
You knew what youâd have to do to start getting information. It made you feel a little sickâ a part of you, though, was grateful Karina was so beautiful. Her smile was cocky and smug, like that of someone who knew she was untouchable. She made conversation with her two accompanies, talking and laughing and drinking. You waited for an hour or so, so that she was now most definitely more than tipsy.
you walked over, wearing a short, tight black dress that let you fit the bill of another profession, looking at her through half lidded eyes.
another thing about the cartel. if they wanted a girl, theyâd have her. The club was a dangerous place, the bar was a dangerous placeâ youâd seen a man get shot at a hamburger cart. The cartel was ruining the country.
you pushed down your sudden wave of resentment, focused on flirting with Karina. Her friend, the long haired girl, stared at you for a long time, scrutinizing. You wouldnât know what that meant, for a while.
Karina grinned, tilting her head. âCan I buy you a drink?â
âI donât see why not,â you smiled, voice practiced to be smooth and flirty. You didnât drink, usually, but you needed the courage.
She handed you a shot of aguardiente. It was dry and burned your throat, but it was good. You made conversation. âWhatâs a girl like you doing in a place like this?â You smiled, putting a hand on her arm. âSeems a bit.. dirty,â
Karina smiled, predatorily, teeth glinting in the low yellowed light. âJust trying to relax. You donât seem like the type of girl to frequent this place. Why are you here?â She asked back.
âOh, just.. trying to have a little fun,â you replied, lowly, voice ghosting over her ear. She seemed to like that answer.
âYeah? Why donât you come home with me, then?â
Your smile widened, although your eyes with still half lidded, touches fleeting. You still played your part.
âI will,â
you ended up going home with Karina. It took months to get her to trust you, but you had finally managed to get her to let you start working. All it took was a sob-story, a fake name, and she allowed you to work in her jurisdiction.
and so began the first objective: names. You needed names.
1985, BogotĂĄ, Colombia Local time: 4:33 P.M. Location: currently, a safehouse for the cartel Objective: Find the key members of the cartel
Karina had a home, of course, a large oneâ you had seen parts of the inside many a time. Of course, they also had some warehouses where they kept goods, where some of the members could crash for a night. You usually stayed with Karina, following her orders.
Some of the members used fake names. You had managed to catch onto oneâ Ning Yizhou, or NingNing. It was kind of stupid to put part of your real name in your fake name, but plenty of members didnât use false names at all. You supposed it was just because they didnât have much to hide.
The name was quietly recorded into your notebookâ in code, of course, specifically pigpen-cipher, although you mixed it in with a few different things, referencing dice code as well to make it more confusingâ the members of the organization sometimes forgot to call out their chosen names for each other, slipping up. You didnât mind, though, it made your life easier.
The group had a whole network across BogotĂĄ, planning to move into MedellĂn, which you felt was not a good idea, but had said nothing.
at one point, Karina brought you all out to eat at a very nice restaurant. You had become a favorite of sorts, for her. She didnât suspect a thing, thank god.
They began to make small talk, conversations imbued with remarks about the âbusinessâ, people causing problems, supply and demand, and those annoying Americans.
the waiter came, and everyone quieted.
âUna cerveza, porfa,â Karina was first.
âDame un refresco, por favor,â Giselle.
You felt something.. off. Obviously, Giselle wasnât colombian. None of these four women were. But they all learned Spanish here. None of them really spoke Spanish beforehand. Giselle was speaking very.. correctly. Or, at-least, not using slang from colombia. Had she learned Spanish in Mexico? Castellano? Was she part of another gang?
you hadnât noticed it was your turn to order with all the thoughts running through your mind. You looked at the waiter, glancing at Giselle.
âSi me haces el favor, una gaseosa,â
Giselle didnât seem fazed by it. but something was off about her. Something was very, very off.
âKarina,â you called, walking into her office. She seemed to be writing something down. Most likely something about funds or money. She did have people in the banks to clean her money for her, but she didnât like others running her finances. Too much of a chance for embezzlement. A part of you liked she was smart with her business.
âWinter told me you called for me?â You murmured, leaning against the side of her desk, tilting your head, putting a hand on her shoulder.
âAh, yes,â she affirmed, turning in her chair to you. âI have a job I need you to complete. Youâll be going with Winter,â she informed. âItâs nothing that difficult. Youâll both be going on some runs. Itâll just be delivering a few.. products, to a contact. Itâll be a long drive, maybe a few hours. Sheâll come get you at four in the morning, exactly,â
Your face stayed carefully blank, but you plastered a content smile onto it. âOf course, Iâm glad to be of any help. Speaking of help, Karina, you seem a little stressed..â you smiled wider, voice imbued with a sultry tone.
Karina was honestly a bit foolish. Smart with money, bad with people. Perfect for you.
She still suspected nothing, you thought, as she kissed you, hungrily.
the night ended with her paperwork left unfinished, and you asleep in her bed.
Winter was probably not going to be happy.
Winter was waiting outside the room for you, arms crossed and leaning on the wall. You had dressed into something casualâ just jeans and a shirt. You glanced over at her with a blank expression. âWhat do we need to deliver?â
She seemed to be thinking, before pushing off the wall, and beginning to walk. You followed.
âGuerrilla wants some weapons. Weâre just there to deliver,â she muttered, cigarette hanging half out of her mouth, unlit. You made your way to the car, getting in the passenger, the supplies in the back. âItâll be a long drive up the mountain. Letâs try not to get stopped, yeah?â She muttered, starting the ignition.
You drove in silence, for a bit. The humidity of the air was starting to get to you. You hated the heat.
Winter didnât talk to you, much. You didnât think she liked you. You were pretty sure it was because she believed you werenât worthy to be in the gangâ you were just Karinaâs plaything.
you didnât really care what she thought, though. You had a job to do.
after a few hours, you had made it sufficiently up the mountain to the trade-off point. You stepped out of the car.
It was still foggy, from the rain and the altitude. You almost felt a bit lightheadedâ but it was nothing you couldnât handle. The plants and mosquitos were certainly bothersome, but you said nothing. Helping Winter lug up all the weapons was definitely hardâ you werenât very strong. Winter stared at you in annoyance, mumbling curses, most likely about you, under her breath.
the trade off was successful, but then, yet again, you had to make your way down the mountain with duffel bags of money. It was heavy. Putting it away in the trunk was simple enough. You collapsed back into the passenger, wiping the sweat from your forehead. You felt gross.
âWhy was that so heavy?â You muttered, under your breath. Winter closed the door of the driverâs side.
âItâs not that heavy, youâre just weak,â she spat, annoyed. âYou made us take an extra half hour. Youâre not efficient,â she continued.
âItâs hardly my fault, Winter! This was my first job, I donât-â
âI donât know why Karina thought itâd be a good idea to let you help, youâre absolutely shit at it,â she retorted, acidly. âThe only thing youâre good at is being her whore,â she cursed, as a snide closing remark.
You turned to her as she drove. You may be making sacrifices to get information, but Winter had no idea what you were working towards. It was an insult to your pride. Yet, you couldnât think of a retort.
âIâll work harder,â you muttered. âI want to be useful,â
she scoffed, but at least you said youâd try. She still didnât like you, though. âFace it, sweetheart,â she began. âYouâre not cut out for this life,â
When you arrived back to the warehouse, Ningning spotted Winter before you. You were taking some of the bags out, but could still here from the inside.
âKim Minjeong! What took you so long?â She chided.
Winter rolled her eyes with a scoff. âQuiet down, Ning. Karinaâs toy isnât supposed to know our names until she proves herself. And anyway, sheâs nearly useless. Sheâs the reason I took longer,â
you obviously pretended not to hear as you hauled money bags inside.
Two names down. Two to go.
Giselle and Karina were two harder to find out then the other two. You were sure with enough time, Karina would tell you her real name. She seemed on the verge of it, anyway, with how much she wanted to hear it fall from your lips.
Giselle, though.. you had no contact with her. She was always off, managing distribution or making sure people stayed in line. You never saw her around much.
but slowly, you began to become part of the group. You mostly helped on small runs, with either Winter or Ning. Ning didnât really care what name you called her, writing it off as semantics that didnât matter. Winter, of course, took herself very seriously, so you continued to have to address her formally. She was such a pain, but honestly, you didnât mind much.
what you had to focus on now, most of all, was getting Karina to trust you.
that came in the form of another run. Although this time, it went so, so wrong.
You were meant to drop off a shipment near MedellĂn. You didnât think anything would happen, reallyâ the mountains were a bit far out from BogotĂĄ, and it was closer to the border anyway.
You had been given a gun. It was handed to you by Ning a few weeks prior, under the orders of Karina. You knew how to use one, and no one asked why.
the drive there was mostly silent. Winter still wasnât very warm to you, yet, she didnât hate you. You had begun to earn your place, and she respected the effort, if anything.
You drove, and the closer you got to the warehouse, the more dread washed into your bones. âWinter,â you called, under your breath. âI think weâre being watched,â
âWeâve been down this route a million times, y/n. Weâre fine, no one would-â
a gunshot rang out through the silence.
It missed Winter by a centimeter, hitting the windshield. You cursed the fact these jeeps didnât have roofs or side-door windows. Minjeong sped up, of courseâ if she braked theyâd fire again. It was all a blur, from there. You got out of the car, your back against the corrugated metal of the drop off pointâs doors. You stared around you, pointing at an old building. âThere, Winter- itâs a-â
âSnipers,â she finished, eyes wide with panic. âHijueputa! I fucking knew we shouldâve stayed away from MedellĂn-â
âNo fucking time for that, Winter, get down-â
bullets cut through the air. You dragged Winter behind the Jeepâs metal body, looking over it and shooting wherever the bullets rained from.
there was maybe three people, four, even. Winter focused on the right, you focused on the left. You only had a pistol on you, but luckily you had enough rounds. You aimed straight at one manâs headâ it was a straight shot, and you saw the blood spew out from his forehead. It was a mess of blood and bits of brain as far as you could see, his body slumping over the sandbags where he was hiding. They turned red, quickly.
You peeked over the jeep, again, about to shoot the second man on the left whenâ
a sharp pain was felt in your right shoulder. The force of it sent you nearly falling back, but you caught yourself. You looked straight ahead.
the sniper.
You were panicking and filled with adrenalineâ you set the gun on the other man, watching him rise slowly, andâ
straight into the neck, blood rushed out of the wound, and you heard a disgusting gargling noise. Blood, in some areas, was highly pressurizedâ it would shoot out like a fountain.
Winter had managed to shoot the sniper, finally, which was a miracle considering the distance. Right now, you didnât care about the logistics of how, all you knew was that this was a trap. More people were coming. âWinter, we have to go,â you demanded, looking over at her.
She was bleeding from her thigh and side. Fucking hell.
you shoved her into the passenger seat, ignoring the warmth you could feel trickling down your shoulder, the way it hurt to move your arm. You started the car, and drove straight out of there. You drove as fast as you could, making it back in just around two hours and a half. You had tied your jacket around Winterâs leg, and her own around her side, the other girl groaning in pain throughout the ride. âYa, Winter, cĂĄllate!â You spat, stressed and frazzled. âYouâre gonna be fine, youâre gonna be okay-â you continued, clenching your jaw to not scream from the burning in your shoulder.
When you made it back, you stumbled out of the car, glass shards all over the hood, opening the doors. âNing,â you called, knowing sheâd always be near, most likely cleaning some blood after an interrogation or packing some coke. âNing, it was a trap- help, please, Winter got shot,â you continued, calling out desperately. Ning appeared a few seconds after, eyes wide, rushing to the car. She helped Winter inside, laying her on the couch. She had lost a bit of blood, but the bullet hadnât hit a major artery. You knew the bullet shouldnât have hit her heart, either. Ning looked at you, seriously. âGo get Karina. And Giselle,â
you did as told.
you rushed to Karinaâs office, the older woman looking at you with a bored expression, gaze lingering on your shoulder.
She didnât ask any questions, just raised an eyebrow. âIt was a trap,â you replied, panting, ignoring your own bleeding shoulder. âWinter.. she needs- she needs a hospital,â
Karina looked unsurprised. âOh, yes,â she replied, holding your gaze. âHow unfortunate of an event,â
Her words were.. slow. Almost mocking or sarcasticâ you didnât have time to decipher what they meant. She brushed past you, making her way to Winter, calmly
âNing, how bad is it?â She questioned, leaning over the other girlâs body. There was no hint of worry or concern on her face, just curiosity.
âNot fatal, but serious. It didnât hit the femoral artery, but I suspect it either fracture or grazed her femur. For the side wound, I donât think it hit anything major, maybe a rib, but no organs. Even so, she needs medical attention now, Karinaâ speaking of, where is Giselle?â She continued, exasperated and stressed.
âShe should be on her way. She was coming back from a job, already. She should be here soon,â was Karinaâs nonchalant reply.
you decided that she couldnât really be waited on, and Karina was clearly unhelpful.
âDo you guys have an operating table? You know whatâ get me a table. Just get me a table,â you demanded, reaching for some surgical gloves.
They laid Winter on the table, turning on all the lights. You positioned a lamp right over her, and stared at the bullet wounds.
there were only 2. You could do this, you had been taught first aid. This couldnât be that hard.
You began to clean the wounds with running alcohol and cotton balls, trying to wipe away the blood that wouldnât stop, and clean the wounds. You had grabbed a pair of tweezers, planning on just yanking out the bullet yourself when Giselle slammed the doors open, staring at the scene in shock.
âWhat the fuck are you all doing?â She shrieked, rushing over and moving you away. âDo you have any surgical training at all? You could kill her!â She exclaimed.
âWell, you werenât exactly coming very quickly,â you retorted, now insulted. âIâm sure itâs not that hard to remove a bullet, just take it out-â
âAre you an idiot?â She exclaimed, shocked. âGet out of the way, this is why Iâm here. Iâll deal with this,â
she pushed you away, putting on her own pair of blue surgical gloves, and a mask. She moved the lamp to the wound on Winterâs chest, inspecting it. She took hold of the tweezers, cleaning the wound once again with an alcohol wipeâ but there was no time for painkillers. She extracted the bullet carefully, holding Winter down so she wouldnât squirm and hurt herself, followed by her stitching up the wound. It took around twenty minutes for the bullet hole to be stitched up.
she repeated the same process with the second, before cleaning the wounds, again, and beginning to wrap them with gauze. Winter looked pale, and in pain, but she tried to show no sign of it on her face. Once Giselle finished with her, she turned over to you.
âSit,â she instructed, voice flat and providing no room for judgement.
Karina had shrugged, disappearing back to her office, while Ning had left to go help Winter, leaving you alone with Giselle. She removed your shirt, unclipping your bra with practiced ease, and inspecting the wound. It had started to really hurt, now, the adrenaline having worn off.
âDonât you have painkillers?â You asked, petulantly.
âNo,â she muttered back. âYou can handle it. Youâre part of a gang, now, thereâs going to be pain,â she reminded, harshly.
She cleaned the wound with alcohol, a hiss leaving your mouth at the sting. Your breath hitched when the tweezers made their way into the wound on your shoulder, clenching your jaw in pain. Giselle looked at you, coldly. âDonât scream,â were her final words before she removed the bullet, cleanly, in one piece.
you gasped in pain, breathing heavily as the wound began to bleed again. Giselle held your other shoulder, keeping you in place as she sewed it shut, cleaning it again, and wrapping it with gauze. âFuck,â you hissed, wincing at the sting of alcohol.
âStop squirming,â she growled, and it made you sit still, albeit breathing hard and cursing under your breath. She handed you two pillsâ painkillersâ and a glass of water, after the fact.
âDonât take baths, youâll reopen the wound, make sure to shower. Someone will have to help you redress the wound and make sure it doesnât get infected. Karina isnât good with wounds, and Ning will handle Winter. Iâll keep an eye on you myself,â she muttered, and it felt more like a threat than anything.
you took the pills, drinking the water to wash them down.
you glanced over to her.
âWhat are you, a doctor?â You asked, curious albeit a bit sarcastic.
âYes, technically, I am,â she responded back, flatly. âWorked in el campo for my residency, saw the Guerrilla, saw the way people were livingâ got into this business, just as it started. Thatâs all,â she finished, succinctly.
you felt like the story was too practiced. Too simple. You began to suspect that something was off with Giselleâ something most definitely was. The way she was never with the rest of the group, her detachment, her strange accentâ she was suspicious, and it occurred to you that if you could reveal whatever it was, youâd secure yourself a spot in the gang and officially cement your place, as well as weakening the structure and trust of the organization. It was perfect. This was a great chance, an amazing opportunity. You were sure to take it.
That is, of course, if everything went according to plan.
(It never did)
You couldnât shake the feeling that Karina had something to do with this. She seemed so dismissive, so.. unimpressed. What was it? Why was she so cold?
You sat at the edge of Winterâs bed, the other girl listening to your ramblings and theories half-heartedly, dazed. Ning was leaning against the wall, the both of you speaking lowly, so as to not be heard.
âShe was testing you,â Ningning informed, after mulling on it for a bit.
âWhat?â You blinked, the words like a shock to your system. âShe sent one of her menâ along with the newest recruitâ into a trap, with only two pistols against a sniper and three other men, all to test.. no, why would she do that? She wouldnât endanger her own members,â you dismissed, shaking your head.
âShe would,â Ning informed, flatly. âKarinaâs our boss, yes, we respect her. But she didnât get to where she is by playing nice,â she reminded. âKarina will do whatever she has to do to ensure her business, first and foremost. That is what is the most important to her. Plus, the government has been far too close to us, lately,â Ning scoffed, shaking her head with her arms crossed. âSheâs probably become more carefulâ which isnât good if youâre new. Youâre probably in for it,â The dark haired girl guessed, meeting your gaze. âI wouldnât be surprised if we got dragged into it, too. Weâre disposable. Just pawns in this game,â she continued, pushing off the wall and reaching the door, hand resting on the handle. âBut I hope you make it out,â she added. âYouâve been helpful,â was her final compliment, before she exited.
You stared at your hands. You had thoughtâ genuinelyâ that Karina was kind, maybe misunderstood. You really thought you were smarter than her.
you now realized that Karina was extremely intelligent. She didnât care what sacrifices had to be madeâ sheâd protect what was hers, what sheâd built. Worst of all, she might even know you were an informant already, she might just be playing with you.
you had walked right into the lionâs den, without even knowing. All the while, you thought you were one step ahead, that you were in control.
your head fell to your hands, a choked sob leaving your body.
you were going to die here.
Every single one of you was going to die here.
1985, BogotĂĄ, Colombia Local time: 6:25 P.M. Location: currently, a safehouse for the cartel Objective: Find the key members of the cartel
it had been a week since the incident. Winter had given you her real nameâ Kim Minjeong. Why? She said you had earned it, after saving her life.
Things had been tense, to say the least. Ning was considerably angry with Karina, which the older girl did not like. Giselle had been speaking to Karina more often, yet, she was also out the same amount of time.
Minjeong had told you that there had been talk of working more closely with the guerrilla, and that information worried you. The guerrilla was already enough trouble on its ownâ with the resources from the cartel, itâd be a horrible force for the government.
It was early November, already, and Giselle had seemed beyond tense, pacing whenever you caught a glimpse of her in her room, always thinking to herself, it seemed.
she was changing your bandages, now, a distant look on her face. The movements were practiced, almost like she was working on autopilot.
âHey,â you called. âGiselle,â
âWhat?â She responded, flatly. âWhat is it?â
âWhy do you seem so mad lately?â Was your question. She kept a blank, annoyed look on her face. She continued to clean your wound, but eventually responded. âNothing. Just some negotiations that have been going in circles for days, now. Donât worry about it,â she dismissed, stepping back once she had finished, moving to get some gauze.
âReally?â You hummed. âAnything to do with the guerrilla?â
Giselle stared, clenching her jaw. She began to bandage you, but spoke lowly. âDonât talk about them. You have no idea what theyâre like. You shouldnât know any of this, anyway. Iâm sure Karina wouldnât like that,â she added, dangerously.
After the events that transpired on your last run, you had grown wary of Karina. You tried not to make it obvious, but everyone could tell, and the girl delighted in it. She loved the power and control, of course. Her smile was unsettling.
you quieted, after that comment. Giselle finished bandaging you, stepping away. âStay out of things that donât concern you,â she advised, but took a second to add something on. âDonât worry too much. I donât think sheâll kill you,â Giselle paused, a smile blooming on her face, âYet,â she added, walking out.
Not very comforting in the slightest, but you should figure out what you could while you were here. You sighed, laying back on the bed.
Giselle was definitely lying about somethingâ you just needed to find out what.
The guerrilla had led a siege on el Palacio de Justicia. It lasted two days, with many deaths. You saw the current news on it, even contacted your people in DAS about itâ they had strictly warned you not to unless information was found, but those were your people. They couldâve died.
Giselle watched the news over your shoulder, or listened to it while she fixed your bandages. Minjeong had been getting better, too, her leg much better. Ning watched as well, her arms crossed.
Karina didnât comment on it. Almost like she knew it would happen.
a suspicious amount of money was given to the guerilla by Karina a few weeks prior. You felt a shudder run through you, which Giselle responded to with a bark of âStop squirmingâ.
later, Karina called you into her office.
âY/n,â she smiled, tilting her head. âYou seem.. on edge. May I ask why?â She was being overly formal, and it unsettled you.
âEver since the attack, I keep feeling like itâll happen again,â you began, ramblingâ it wasnât a lie, per se, but it wasnât the whole truth. The fear in your eyes and shakiness of your movement confirmed that, at least, it was partially true. âIm scared, that theyâll come here, and kill us. I donât know what to do,â
Karinaâs smile stayed in place, as she ushered you to sit down on the couch, there. âDonât worry, corazĂłn,â she assured, a hand running through your hair. You began to relaxâ maybe she wasnât so scary, after allâ It was understandable, maybe it wasnât actually a test, maybe-
âAs long as youâre loyal, nothing bad will happen to you,â she continued, hand tightening in your hair. âIf you were to sell us out, then, you understand. I couldnât promise your protection,â her hand strengthening its grip on your hair, speaking into your ear.
âNow, why donât we get your mind off it?â She offered, looking into your eyes with a faux-sweet expression.
you complied, obviously. Despite the fear, there was a part of you that was drawn to her. She was threatening to kill you if you betrayed her, yet, you still kissed her, desperately.
she kissed back, of course, hungrily and heatedly.
Thatâs how most of the both of your talks ended, anyway.
1986, BogotĂĄ, Colombia Local time: 12:01 AM Location: una discoteca Objective: Find the key members of the cartel
It was 1986, nowâ had just turned into the new year. You were at a club, celebrating another year alive.
You had no idea where the other three girls went, thoroughly tipsy and entranced with Karina.
Karina was a bad person, you knew this. She was ruthless, and you should be scared of her.
but right now, with her hands on your hips, in the flashing lights of the club, you couldnât quite remember that.
The two of you stumbled into the quieter, back parts of the club where there were rooms. Karina knew this place better than you, anyway.
it was still loud, and you could barely hear anything. She pressed you against the wall, tugging your hair, beginning to suck and bite at your neck.
she was most definitely drunk, you could tell by the flush to her face and how her words were looser than normal.
You knew you shouldâve taken advantage of this, but you couldnât. Your body felt hot, and instead of finding information, like you should have, you fell right back into Karina like a rat to a glue-trap.
you were pathetic.
and you knew it.
1986, BogotĂĄ, Colombia Local time: 2:23 AM Location: a safehouse for the cartel Objective: Find the key members of the cartel
Karina had called you into her office, except this time, Giselle was there.
You were beyond exhausted, but did not complain.
They were both intimidating. Giselle was staring at you, coldly, arms crossed, while Karina had an amused expression on her face, grinning, head tilted into her hand.
âY/n, I have a job for you,â she called, in a cheery voice.
âIt shouldnât be too hard, but youâll be working with Giselle from now on. Itâll be good for you,â she continued, standing up and walking towards you. âSheâll keep you safeâ wonât you, Gigi?â She asked, almost mockingly, a saccharine expression in her face.
âYouâll have a body by the end of the day. Thatâs all you want her for, anyway,â Giselle retorted, irritated.
âHow great! Come now, y/n, Giselle will explain,â Karina beckoned, quite happy today. Some expansion into the U.S. had gone well, you knew that much, but there was no reason she should be so.. animated.
Karina handed you a semiautomatic pistol, which you stared down at. She then smiled, handing you a small box of bullets. She still kept a smile on her face, remarking, âYou know, these are special. Theyâre hollow point bulletsâ Ningning made them,â
âWhat? She made them?â You knew of hollow-point bullets, they werenât a secret, just uncommon.
âDrill a hole into them, cut an X to make some petals, and there you have itâ well, Iâd ask Ningning, of course, Iâm not a weapons specialist. Itâs quite easy,â
âBut why? They donât-â
âEffectiveness. They leave a bigger exit wound, and leave shrapnel inside the body at times,â Giselle interrupted. âIn other words, pain. Theyâre used to inflict pain,â
Karina smiled, sadistic as ever, as she watched Giselle load some rifles.
âToday, we have a few hits to get done,â Giselle informed. âYouâll be coming with me. You know how to shoot a rifle?â She asked, glancing over at your horrified expression.
âNo, I-â
âWhat about a pistol?â
You nodded.
âPerfect!â Karina exclaimed. âYou can help with the interrogation, then. Giselle, Iâll meet you at the location. Try not to dirty her too much, hm?â Karina advised, slinking away.
âThatâs why sheâs so happy?â You asked, in shock. âBecause-â
âBecause she gets to kill someone? Yeah, thatâs why. Sheâs sick in the head. You knew what you were getting into,â
you stared at Giselle in silence. The other girl was grabbing some sniper-rifle that you had never seen before, and several rounds of ammunition.
she loaded it into the car, and you two began the drive.
you held the pistol in your hands shakily, silent for most of the ride.
once you got to the location, you watched Giselle pray. You had heard of hitmen praying before their job, and you still couldnât understand. They prayed to God to protect them, yet, they were about to take a life.
âWhy are you praying?â You asked, suddenly, acidly. âWeâre about to kill people, God wouldnât-â
âItâs my job,â she interrupted, which was a common occurrence with Giselle. âItâs my job, and Iâm just asking Him to keep me alive until itâs over,â she spat, coolly. âYou donât know what Iâve had to do. But you will, soon. So just shut up, will you?â She got out of the car, slamming the door shut. You scrambled after her, and the both of you hauled the equipment up the boarded-up, run-down building, up several flights of stairs, finally beginning to set it up after a few stories, looking down at a busy road.
âWhy are we killing him?â You murmured your question, watching as Giselle began to adjust the rifle.
âHe owes Karina money, and he wonât pay it. He also stole some of our goods and has been cutting pure cocaine with some other shit, I didnât really care enough to figure out what. His other friend is the one weâll be interrogating. Heâll die no matter what he says,â Giselle shrugged, watching the empty street, the morning finally coming through the sky, although the dark, clouded sky blocked the bright sun.
âHow long will we be here?â
âHowever long it takes,â
It turns out that âhowever long it takesâ meant almost eight hours. You were bored to death, yet still terrified. You were about to kill someone. And you had been here, waiting on edge for it to happen, for almost eight hours. You felt like you were going to burst into tears.
âGiselle, how much longer is this gonna take?â You complained, although a bit shaky.
âTrust me, I donât want to be here either,â she drawled. âBut he should be here, soon. He works near here,â
It took maybe another half hour before he appeared. Giselle saw him before you did, obviouslyâ you didnât even know what he looked likeâ but she didnât immediately shoot. Her eyes stared down at him through the scope, her fingers brushing against the trigger. He was wide open, walking slowly without a car in the world. He stopped for a second, someone crossing in front of himâ
click.
you heard the gun go off before you looked down.
Giselle had shot him perfectly in the side of the head. You couldnât see a lot, obviously, you were pretty high up, but you saw enough.
his body crumpled to the ground, immediately, blood pooling around him. People screamed, cars stopped, and they all were looking around frantically trying to find the shooter. Giselle moved the gun and herself away from the window, to the side where they werenât visible.
âCome on, hurry upâ we gotta go,â she urged.
âHold on, wonât they see us step out of the building? Isnât this a bad idea?â
âThey wonât catch us, thereâs too much chaos going down there. Now come on, letâs go,â
The drive to the warehouse was relatively silent.
Giselle was tense, but that wasnât new. She always was. But she seemed almost.. solemn. Quiet.
you both arrived, stepping out of the car, into the meeting point. Giselle had her own pistol, you also kept yours on hand.
when you entered, there was a man tied there. Giselle tensed when she saw him, but said nothing. You figured it was because of Karina, standing behind him with the same placid, content smile. It was eerie.
âGiselle, Y/n! Youâve made it,â she smiled. âI take it the job went well?â
âIt was all fine,â Giselle replied. âNothing out of the ordinary happened,â
âThatâs great, really, itâs good! Iâm quite happy today, Y/n, because we have a special guest. I know I said he owed me moneyâ in a way he doesâ but this is something far more important. He works with the Americans! Isnât that just amazing?â She continued, happily, waving her gun around in the air as she spoke. âIâm sure weâll get some good information out of him,â
âSo, the both of you, come! Letâs begin,â Karina gestured to the man, in the dim lights.
you figured, wellâ the show must go on.
The man was tied to a chair, that much was obvious. The floor was concrete, and there were boarded up windows and maybe one or two hanging lightbulbs. It was a bit dark.
the walls were steel, corrugated iron, and it gave a prison-like feel. the man was looking around, wildly, straining against his restraints.
âHey,â Karina called, walking closer to him.
âYouâre going to tell me everything there is to know about those Americans, okay? And then Iâll let you go. As long as you donât lie,â she assured, pausing. âNow talk,â she demanded.
âTheyâve noticed the supply into their country. Theyâre working on stopping it. Theyâve already sent a few agents to infiltrate a few different parts of the cartelââ
âWhich ones?â Was her sharp, quick reply.
âMedellĂn, primarily, but theyâve been looking to BogotĂĄ. I donât know much more than that, I donât even know who the agents are, I-â
âNing!â Karina barked, the dark haired girl appearing out of the dark. She held a pistol in her hand, jaw clenched, staring up at Karina.. defiantly, almost. âWonât you be a dear and deal with him, for me?â
Ning glanced to the man. His eyes widened, and he began to thrash. âNo! I donât know anything, I swear, I donât know any agents! I donât know anything!â He pleaded, desperately. Ning looked away, aiming the gun.
You heard a whispered âIâm sorryâ, and she made the shot.
Through the head, perfectly center. Ning placed a hand over her mouth, the smell of blood biting and metallic, letting out a choked sob.
Karina looked over at Ning. âNow, Ning-ie, thereâs a bus waiting for you outside. Youâll take that back to our meeting point, wonât you? So you wonât get caught?â
Ning nodded, wiping her eyes of tears. She went over to Giselle, they exchanged some words, huggedâ she came over to you.
âY/n.. Iâm sorry. Thereâs no way to get you out, now. Be careful, donât.. donât trust anyone, donât- just.. be careful, okay?â she advised, lowly, hugging you, still crying faintly.
âNing, what- I donât understand, whyâre you acting like this?â
âYouâll tell Minjeong Iâll miss her, right? I wanted to say goodbye, properly, but.. I didnât have time. I left a note,â she added, slipping it into your pocket inconspicuously, pulling away from the hug. âGive it to her, for me. You were fun to be around, Iâll miss you too. Donât lose yourself, stay focused. It was nice to know you, y/n,â
âYeah, yeah, Iâll tell her- Iâll give it to her- Ning, why are you acting like this? Whatâs going on?â
Ning smiled, laughing wetly, still crying. âYouâll find out, later. Youâll find out..â
Karina walked Ning out of the warehouse. You and Giselle trailed behind, still a few paces away. The bus was parked right outside, filled with people.
Karina hugged Ning, whispered something to her which made Ning clench her fists and cry harderâ you donât know from what.
Ning got on the bus with a smile, cryingâ though you still didnât know whyâ and waved goodbye.
You looked to Giselle, confused, watching the bus continue on, further down the street, already maybe a mile or two away from you. âWhat was that abou-â
your ears rang. You heard it before it registered.
the bus had exploded.
there was carnage, everywhere. Parts of it had been thrown into different buildings. There were body parts strewn across the street, a crater in the asphalt, fire, along the metalâ cars had been crushed, it was now chaos in the streets. You had almost been pushed back from the force, nicking yourself with the small, sharp pieces of metal. Karina was still standing, her suit dusty and filled with ash.
âKarina, what- what did you do?â you cried, confused and distraught yet again, feeling the tears build in your eyes.
Karina cooed, crouching down over you, thumbing the skin under your eye. âOh, mi amor, donât cry,â she reassured. âNing was working with the Americans. The man in the warehouse knew, and was helping her sneak information along our supply chain! Donât worry, the traitor is gone,â she ran a hand through your now dirty hair, cleaning a cut on your face with her finger. She smiled, pressing a kiss to your cheek, speaking lowly into your ear.
âIâm tired of these Americans trying to ruin my business. They keep putting themselves where they donât belong. Donât worry, mi cielo, youâll be safe as long as youâre loyal to me, and as long as you listen. I know you will. Because youâre trustworthy, arenât you?â She smiled, looking down at you.
you nodded, dazed. Karina had just killed Ning. Ning was dead. You had to get out of here. You figured hundreds were injured. You had to leave.
Giselle was even farther back, looking at Karina with contempt.
you didnât notice, though. You were too busy watching the flames dance in the street.
1987, BogotĂĄ, Colombia Local time: 9:46 P.M Location: a safehouse for the cartel Objective: Find the key members of the cartel
it had been almost a year since the incident.
ever since Ning died, things had been different. Minjeong had been quieter, and angrier. Everything set her off, she came back covered in blood most of the time. You didnât want to ask where sheâd beenâ youâd just sit with her, quietly. Sometimes you heard her cry at night.
Giselle had been even more cagey, always out, defensive, on high-alert constantly.
and Karina.. well, youâd been spending a lot of time with Karina. You knew she was bad, you did, but there was something about her. It was just something about her, something that drew you in, and you hated yourself for it.
like right now. You were in her office, again, as she kissed you hungrily, hands gripping your hips in a bruising grasp.
your mind drifted. You reported back to DAS every so often, but you did inform them that you had to be very careful, that your reports would be sporadic. Truthfully, they didnât event think youâd make it this far, do they were okay with waiting. They seemed to have several informants, anyway.
ây/n,â Karina growled, lowly, sucking and biting harshly at your neck. âYou seem distracted. Focus on me, no? You promised youâd help me..â she murmured, almost a pleading sound to her voice. You werenât stupid, though. Karina didnât beg, she didnât plead. This was mocking. You sucked it up, though.
you tried to focus on her, you did, but everything was beginning to get to you. DAS weighed heavily on your mind, and Minjeongâs grief did, too, and Giselleâs odd behavior, her accent, even the way she dressedâ she didnât seem like she was from here. She didnât seem like sheâd been her a long while.
âY/n,â Karina snapped, annoyed. âFocus, will you? Or maybe youâll end up like that bastard traitor,â she remarked, acidly, far too much emotion for the situation. Karina had been angrier lately, too. It must be the stress of the betrayal. Surely thatâs whyâ it shook her to her core that there was a rat in her ranks. She had gotten paranoid.
the mention of Ning made you emotional, though. You felt tears prick at your eyes.
she looked down, and let out a laugh. âOh, I love when you cry, baby,â she grinned, voice rough. âIt makes you look so good. But not right now.. maybe in a bit. Stop being such a pussy,â she instructed, to which you nodded shakily.
and like that is how your work went, for a bit.
it wasnât until late 1988 everything began to change.
Karina had been busy, lately. A lot of men came to her office, ones you didn't recognize and some you did, vaguely, from other meetings.
Karina had been overtly paranoid about informantsâ It was a miracle she hadn't discovered you, yetâ or maybe she had. Maybe she was just waiting for the right time, playing with you, maybe-
"Y/n!" She called, in a sing-song tone.
You entered her office, quietly.
"I need your help for another job. A big one. If you do this, then it'll officially make you a part of us! Isn't that fantastic, baby?"
Karina had her hands on your hips, the same practiced smile she always wore on her face.
"Yes.. fantastic, it really is," you replied, in a murmur. "But what will I be doing?"
"You know the DAS building, here, in BogotĂĄ? Well, amor, we'll be getting rid of it,"
"rid of it?" You tried to school your expression, but the shock and horror was plainly visible on your face. You felt sick.
"Rid of it. As in, you knowâ the building. I have a few ways to make sure it stays gone for quite a while. Itâll take nearly a year, I predict, but itâll get done. Youâll be going to a few meetings with Giselle and me to make sure you can help. Is that okay, y/n?â She asked, in a faux-concerned tone. You both knew she wasnât asking whether or not youâd do it, you had to. It was a rhetorical question. You would say yes, either way.
âYes. Itâs.. itâs fine,â you murmured.
âGood. Now, you can go. Iâm sure thereâs something for you to do to make yourself useful around here,â
MEETING ONE 1988, MedellĂn, Colombia Local time: 4:52 P.M. Location: a small town up in the mountains; el campo Objective: Find the key members of the cartel.
Driving with Giselle was really not a good time. The songs on the radio were good, though.
the other girl was so frustrated, for some reason.
âGiselle,â you chanced. âI donât mean to pry, but seriouslyâ why are you so.. stressed?â
âWeâre about to blow up Colombiaâs national security headquarters, I think anyone would be stressed,â
You eyed her, not quite convinced.
âYou know, anytime we carry out a job youâre so on edge,â you commented. she whipped her head around, knuckles turning white as she gripped the steering wheel.
âAre you accusing me of something, y/l/n?â
âNo,â you replied, slowly. âNot at all,â
the meeting took place up in the mountains.
the negotiations were mostly handled by Giselle, but she looked nearly ready to scream.
âWeâre paying you what youâve asked, just give us the supply,â she repeated, voice low.
âI think itâs fair to ask for a little more, linda,â
Giselle was seething. Honestly, these men had rifles, machine gunsâ you werenât about to fight them. you took out your pistol.
you pointed it right at the 500kg of dynamite.
âTake the money,â you instructed, eyes wide. You looked crazed, most likely.
they stared at you.
âI said take the FUCKING MONEY! You think I wonât do it? We can add on 130,000 more pesos, but thatâs it.â
They agreed.
Giselle was silent, in the car drive. You stared at your hands.
âYou wouldâve done it,â she murmured.
âI would have,â you agreed, and it came with a sick sense of realization. You would have killed everyone in there, including yourself. You would have done it. Who were you? What had you become?
Giselle laughed, one of the only times you had ever seen her show a positive emotion.
âOh, God,â she snickered. âYou really didnât think when you signed up for this, huh?â She commented. Your eyes widened, but you schooled them back into place.
no, she couldnât mean what you thought. She couldnât.
âCareful, baby,â she hummed. âYou donât wanna become something you canât come back from,â
well, thatâs fucking ominous.
Your next meeting was scheduled in the following weeks. You felt like Giselle was.. watching you. Her gaze never left you, but whenever you looked back, she was always just staring out a window, or at something on the wall. It was unnerving.
The second meeting went smoothly, but ended late. Giselle was driving once again, smoking.
âDo you have another?â You asked, suddenly, glancing at her against the dark backdrop of the night.
âAnother what?â She questioned, looking over at you for only a moment, before focusing on the old, pot-hole filled road again.
âA cigarette. And a light,â you clarified, holding out a hand.
âI have a cigarette,â she confirmed, handing you one. âBut no light. Sorry,â she shrugged, seemingly unbothered.
âOh, fuck off Giselle. Just light it with yours,â
She rolled her eyes. âWhy should I? Donât you have a lighter?â
âI didnât bring my lighter, I didnât think I needed it,â you shot back.
She sighed, annoyed, but complying. She kept one hand on the wheel, barely glancing at the road, lit cigarette half in her mouth, being held in place by her hand. You kept your own firmly between your lips, not wanting it to fall.
she pressed the lit end to your own, eyes dark, and you couldnât help but stare into them.
the end finally caught a spark, lighting up, and you both stared for a second more before breaking away.
You took a long drag, averting your eyes from her gaze, glad the dark of the night would hide your blush.
âThanks,â you muttered, gazing out into the fields.
âDonât mention it,â
MEETING THREE 1988, BogotĂĄ, Colombia Local time: 2:31 A.M. Location: Karinaâs office Objective: Find the key members of the cartel.
It happened so very late, and you struggled to stay awake. You felt your eyes closing, but Giselle would push you, and youâd spring back up.
Karina was arguing with a man about the price of the job. She was aggravated, he wasnât taking the accepted offer.
The meeting had started off very casualâ she even offered him some of their supply. You didnât take any, neither did Giselle, but Karina and the man each did a line, snorting it off the table.
You watched the cross that hung from her neck dangle along the table, occasionally tapping the wood. The other man wore one as well, as did Giselle, as did youâ you felt just a bit guilty about it. Hopefully, Heâd forgive you for your wrongdoings. Hitmen prayed to God and so did drug lordsâ as did nuns, priests, politiciansâ all prayed, all believed. At least, most did. They claimed so.
You were shaken from your thoughts by a loud crash. Karina had pushed the man against the wall, yelling, nowâ âÂĄMe estĂĄs sacando la piedra!â
Giselle never said anything like that. Come to think of it, she cursed under her breath, you werenât even sure what language it was. you shouldnât be thinking of Giselle, though, not when this man seemed like he would die. That shook you out of your stationary position.
you jumped up, rushing towards her. âKarina! Karina, let him go!â You demanded, trying to pull her off. Giselle followed suit, prying her off him. Karina was panting, she looked crazed. Blood trickled out of her nose, and you wondered how much of her supply she was doing.
âYou donât understand,â she growled, clutching her desk. âJust take the money,â she began, again, and the man finally nodded. She practically threw the money at him, watching as he scrambled out. She let out a frustrated sound, slamming her hands on the desk.
âGiselle, get out. Y/n. Stay,â she demanded, not turning around.
Giselle hesitated, for a moment, it was barely noticeable.
but she left.
Karina turned to you, and like so many times beforeâ you were truly, deeply scared. And yet..
you fell right back into her, letting her kiss you, use you, until she was fine again.
1989, BogotĂĄ, Colombia Local time: 3:13 A.M. Location: An old, unused road in the mountainside Objective: Find the key members of the cartel.
The meetings happened in quick succession. They took place all throughout the rest of 1988, and into early 1989. It wasnât until September that things really began to change.
Minjeong was always out. She avoided Karina, and only spoke with Giselle sparsely.
You and Giselle were in the car, currently. The final meeting had just occurred, and the both of you had gotten tired of driving.
you were both just sitting there, with the car off. Giselle spoke, suddenly.
âHow do you do it?â She questioned. âHow do you put up with her?â
âWhat? What are you talking about?â
âKarina. I just.. sometimes, sheâs too much. Especially lately. Sheâs paranoid,â
âI donât know, I just-â you couldnât say it was because it was your job. You couldnât say it was because a part of you wanted her. You werenât sure how to even reply to that. âI just do,â
Giselle seemed like she wanted to say something, but she closed her mouth. It was silent till she spoke again. âI donât understand you. I mean, youâre like me, but.. youâre just so.. differentâ naive,â
âI am not naive!â You protested, even though you knew very well you were.
âYes you are! I know youâre- I-â she wasnât being very coherent, aggravated, fingers flexing like she was antsy.
âIâm what? What am I? Just spit it out, Giselle! Iâm tired of-â
She cut you off, kissing you. You were surprised, for a moment, but quickly reciprocated. Her fingers curled in your hair, pulling you closer. You braced yourself on the dash, trying not to touch the wheel or anything else that could move the car.
âYouâre so fucking infuriating,â Giselle muttered, pulling you into the backseat with her. âYou just have no idea whatâs going on, do you?â
You panted, now slightly confused. âWhat?â
âNevermind,â she groaned, pulling you closer once again.
She pulled you onto her lap, and you snaked your hands into her hair, tugging at it, blunt nails scratching at her scalp.
You didnât really feel bad about it, is what youâd realize later, when you were driving back in silence.
You kind of wanted her to do it again.
You and Giselle didnât talk about anything that had happened. Partly because you didnât want to, and partly because you feared what Karina would do if she found out. The weeks leading up to what you found to be a tragedy were tense. Minjeong was out more often than not, as was Giselle. You couldnât warn anyone, because Karina had such a close eye on you, lately. She just wouldnât leave you alone.
December came quicker than you would wish.
It was night when you heard Minjeong speaking to Karina.
âJimin, you canât do this,â she murmured, lowly, voice laced with an unseen anger.
âWhy are you so tense, Minjeong? I thought you always agreed with me..â she sighed, and you could hear her walking through the thin walls.
âI canât let you kill so many people, itâs just- itâs insane! Youâre being irrationalâ youâve snorted half of your own fucking supply!â
âShut the fuck up,â Karinaâ Jimin, youâve learnedâ spat, and the unmistakable sound of a slap resounded through the warehouse, Karina breathing hard. You heard a struggle, and panting. âIâll kill you, Minjeong, donât think I wonât. Iâve kept you around out of pityâ and of course, youâve always been so obedient. Why are you so hellbent on rebelling now?â She whined, in a mocking manner.
âYou killed Ningningâ how am I supposed to be loyal to someone who kills her own men?â Minjeong replied, voice breathy, as if she couldnât breathe.
There was silence.
âYouâll learn. Now, leave here. If you argue against me again, Iâll feed you to the wolves,â Jimin growled, and the sound of Minjeong hitting the floor was heard all throughout the warehouse. âGet out of my sight,â
1989, BogotĂĄ, Colombia Local time: 11:13 A.M. Location: a safehouse for the cartel Objective: Find the key members of the cartel.
Karina was, and always will be, a mystery.
you had found out now that Karinaâs name was Yu Jimin. You had asked Minjeong, shortly after what happened. You went to sleep, and awoke to the sound of the radio, blaring.
âEl edificio del Departamento Administrativo de Seguridad ha sido bombardeado.â
you woke up with a start. You knew itâd happen. But there was a sense of true hatred, in that moment.
you walked out of your room.
you walked into Karinaâs office.
âYu Jimin,â
she whipped around, smile morphing into a frown in seconds.
âHow do you know that name?â
âMinjeong,â
She saw the gun in your hand.
âOh, wonât you put that down?â
You stared at her.
She smiled, then.
âYou know, I knew you worked for them,â she began, nonchalantly.
âWhat?â
all that work, all that secrecyâ it meant nothing, in the end? She knew, she always knew?
âI saw you searching for our names. You were just so.. you seemed like youâd work for the government. And then I found that little phone you had! Itâs been disconnected for years. They havenât received a single message,â
You stared, still, dumbfounded. Suddenly, this made it all the worse. She did this, forced you to helpâ knowing? You raised the pistol.
âGiselle,â Karina called, and the other girl appeared a few seconds later. She stared at the scene in front of her, looking between the two of you.
âGet rid of her for me, will you?â Karina dismissed, shrugging off the threat.
Giselle slowly took out her own gun. She pointed it at you, and yetâ
âYu Jimin, youâre under arrest for drug trafficking, terrorism, murder, smuggling, and-â
âWhat? What are you talking about?â Her eyes widened, as she shot up to her feet, gripping at her desk.
âMy name is Aeri Uchinaga. I work for the FBI-â
âIt was you!â She shrieked, nearly mad. âYou were the mole? But you- youâve killed in my name! Wonât you be implicit?â
âIâll be pardoned by the state, most likely,â she informed.
it all made sense now. The strange accent, the tray she was so tense, constantlyâ you were a bit proud of yourself for noticing all the off things about her, but now was not the time.
you stared at Karina. You wanted to shoot her.
âShe could leave,â you pointed out.
Giselle glanced over at you. âShe could,â
you aimed at her leg. Just a bit off from the major artery in the thigh.
a click.
The aftermath was severe. The building was destroyed, most of your department had dissolved. Minjeong was working with the police, you had found outâ although you hadnât heard from her since the arresting.
you werenât sure what to do, anymore. You had dedicated so much to thisâ and it was all for nothing. Essentially, you had failed.
You were currently living with Aeri, actually. You were a valuable witnessâ you had seen and done things that would hopefully be able to incriminate Karina, more than all the other records there was of her actions.
Aeri wasnât as mean as she had been. She was actually quite quietâ but not mean. You two spoke about it. A lot had happened, and you both lived through it. You could relate to each other.
it would take time, though.
1993, BogotĂĄ, Colombia Local time: 11:13 A.M. Location: Washington, D.C. Objective: . . .
It had been 4 years since Yu Jimin had been arrested. She was facing many, many chargesâ although you tried not to keep up with the news. There was to much going on.
currently, you were with Aeri. You and Aeri had gotten much closer in the following yearsâ how could you not? You spent almost every waking moment together.
Aeri had some work to do, so you were waiting. It was quite simple, really.
You had been offered a position, hereâ in D.C. Youâd work on other jobs, similar to this, but far more investigative. It sounded.. good. Youâd like to help people, thats alwayâs something youâve wanted.
You were shaken out of your thoughts by Aeri.
âHey,â she called, to get your attention. âLetâs go, theyâve got some questions to ask you before you can get hired. You know how government jobs are,â she shrugged, leading you down a winding hallway.
âYeah,â you replied, your hand in hers. âThey kind of suck,â
âThey do,â she agreed, with a sigh. âThey kind of do,â
A/N: I HATE HOW THIS CAME OUT đđ it took me so long but itâs done. I kind of just wanted to get it over with. I donât have much to say, honestly I might delete this. I had a good idea for it but just couldnât find the words to execute it. sorry </3 expect a better work soon. Iâm hoping to finish up some less heavy ideas before returning to my cold war AU. In any case, asks are appreciated, and Iâm open to requests! thank you for reading this mess </3 also aeri being endgame is payback for you (aettudae) making her married to a man in honeycomb. that should be ME.
EXTRA: when you read âmi amorâ keep in mind Iâm imagining to pronounced like one word, so more like âmia-morâ. âmiaâ kind of sounds like âmyaâ. this will make sense to spanish speakers.

el chico del apartamento 512
â Frankie Morales x gn!Reader - 1.6k
â There's a rumor going around your building about the resident of apartment 512, and you're eager to investigate.
â Rated PG-13 for allusions to sex but otherwise just some plain old fluff and fun. post movie canon wife and kid erasure sorry, takes place in colombia, both reader and frankie speak spanish and everything is translated.
â this is my entry for the Selena Drabble Challenge hosted by mi esposa @fhatbhabie <3 sorry i've been sitting on this forever hehe but i hope you enjoy
Frankie barely manages to pull himself out of the slump heâs in for the first year or so after the absolute disaster in the Andes.
He misses his family, misses his friends, misses his crewâhis brothers. He tries to convince himself that itâs for the best, that itâs only a matter of time before those assholes who were in cahoots with Lorea come after himâthat the people he loves will be safer and happier if heâs not around them when it happens. And most of the time he can block all that sadness and pain out by throwing his whole mind and body into the earnest construction job he picks up in this new town within this new country. But it catches up to him late at night in dreams and quiet whispers of intrusive thoughts; that heâs a coward for abandoning the ones that needed him most, that he couldâve done more to make that damned mission less of a disaster. That he couldâve come out of it rich and happy if he wasnât such a fuck-up.
He wakes up screaming in the middle of the night, an ache so deep in his chest that it feels like heâs been shot. He clutches at his sternum and tries to catch his breath but he canât. His body wracks with sobs and he knows heâll never be okay again.
But somehow, he ends up okay anyway. Somehow, he falls back to sleep just to repeat the cycle the next day.
Thereâs a rumor going around amongst your neighbors that apartment 512 is haunted.
People hear thingsâweird things. Screaming, crying, bangingâand always at the dead of night. And everyone swears up and down that theyâve never seen the guy who supposedly lives there. The people who say they have seen him get more dramatic with their descriptions every timeâtoweringly tall, shoulders that could stand up to a wrecking ball, hauntingly sad eyes and gaunt face. Itâs like heâs a thing of legendâa story they tell their kids to make sure they behave. âDonât run in the halls or the guy from apartment 512 will get you.â
You figure heâs probably just some guy who works long hours and likes to watch horror movies to unwind or somethingânot a monster or a ghost, just misunderstood. You havenât seen the guy yourself, but you kinda like him anyway. The buildingâs certainly been a lot quieter since he moved in⊠well, everywhere except his own apartment, at least.Â
You find yourself keeping a more vigilant eye out, alert to any face in the building that doesnât look familiar. It seems kinda silly to want to see someone you donât know, but youâre a little nosy and a little more than curious. If thereâs some truth to the rumors that have been going around by the people who claim to have seen him, you want to find out for yourself.
Itâs a completely ordinary night when you notice an unfamiliar face in the mailroom, and you have to do a double take. This stranger is handsomeâtall and dark with shaggy brown hair and an even shaggier patch of stubble across his jaw.
Heâs just standing there, staring blankly at a row of mailboxes, looking so⊠foreboding. You approach slowly, cautiously; part of you thinks you should just walk away and let this man do whatever heâs doing. But thereâs a large, louder part of you that approaches with curiosity. Thereâs just something about him that draws you in, that makes you put on your best smile and ask, âSeñor? Necesitas ayuda?â (Do you need help, sir?)
He blinks slowly, heavily, and then dark brown eyes flicker towards you.
âOh!â He clears his throat and itâs like heâs coming back from an out of body experienceâthe color returns to his face, his eyes lose that glassy sheen, and his posture loosens a bit. He looks friendly now, sheepish even. He wrings his big hands and shifts on his feet, as if heâs been caught at a vulnerable moment. âLo siento, estaba en la nube.â (Sorry, I was spacing out.)
âEstĂĄ bien,â you tell him with your most disarming smile. âAndas buscando algo?â (Itâs okay. / Are you looking for something?)
âNo, solo estoy recopilando mi correo,â he rumbles before flashing you the most charming smile youâve ever seen in your life. (No, Iâm just getting my mail.)
He fishes through his pockets and finds a small silver keyâand then he inserts it into the box labeled â512â.
âTĂș vives en el apartamento 512?â Thereâs a strange air of reverence in your voice despite trying to hide it. This is the guy everyoneâs been talking about, and he doesnât seem nearly as monstrous as everyone tried to make him sound. (You live in apartment 512?)
âUhhh⊠sĂ?â He chuckles and looks over to you, and you can see the way his brow furrows at the look of shocked surprise on your face.
You realize youâre actually gaping open-mouthed at the poor guy, and you snap your mouth closed as soon as you see the little crease between his brows deepen. Not soon enough for it to go unnoticed, thoughâthe corner of his mouth flickers up in a pseudo-smirk, and god heâs handsome.
âNo hemos tenido la oportunidad de conocernos aĂșn.â You look up at him and give your best, winning smile as you give him your name. Thereâs a strange, fluttery feeling in your stomach as his dark eyes meet yoursâhave you mentioned how handsome he is? (We havenât had the chance to meet yet.)
âMucho gusto,â he says with a smile. âSoy Frankie. Supongo que vives en el edificio tambiĂ©n?â (Nice to meet you. / Iâm Frankie. Iâm guessing you live in the building too?)
âOh, sĂ,â you say with a slight laugh. âNo soy ningĂșn tipo de acosador, vivo en el apartamento 526.â (Oh, yes. / I promise Iâm not some kind of creep, I live in apartment 526.)
And then you catch his eyes dragging along your form, not even the least bit subtle, and you try your best to be nonchalant about the way you have to lean against the wall to avoid melting into a puddle on the mailroom floor; especially when you see those full lips of his curve into a smile, and you know heâs liking what heâs seeing.
âNah, no creo que seas un acosador,â he humsâand thereâs that damned smirk again. If you donât get out of here youâre going to start drooling. (I donât think youâre a creep.)
He grabs two letters from his mailbox, examines the envelopes, and then unceremoniously dumps them both into the trashcan in the corner with a mumbled, âMalditas estafas por correo.â (Damn junk mail.)
âEso es lo Ășnico que recibo ahora tambiĂ©n,â you tell him sympathetically. (Thatâs all I get anymore too.)
He brushes past you slightly as he moves to the door, and you get a whiff of distinctly woody cologne that makes your heart pick up a beat. You try to act normal and go to open your own mailbox, but he stops in the narrow doorway and leans against the jam to look at you.
âTe volveremos a ver aquĂ?â (Will I see you around again?)
You think the rumors about him were right, at least a little bit. Heâs towering and imposingâhe fills the entire doorway with ease. Heâs firm and broad and sturdy and big. Maybe he would be intimidating to someone else, but all you can think about is climbing him like a tree.
âSĂ. Puedes verme cuando tĂș quieras.â (You can see me whenever you want to.)
His eyes flicker indecisively for a moment, and then he draws his bottom lip between his teeth. âQuĂ© tal viernes por la noche?â (What about Friday night?)
You try not to focus on how you want him to bite into you like that as you tell him, âSĂ, eso serĂa perfecto.â (Yes, that would be perfect.)
âPerfecto. Te verĂ© luego.â And then he flashes you that damned adorable boyish smile again before he retreats from the mailroom. You think heâs going to be trouble for you. (Perfect. Iâll see you then.)
The monthly building meeting is Saturday morning, and youâre glad to see Frankieâs decided to join in finally. Everyone throws curious looks his way as he walks through the room towards where youâre seated, but no one is curious or brave enough to ask who he is.
âBuenos dĂas, querida,â he murmurs, discreetly ghosting a kiss against your cheek as he drops into the seat beside yours. Thereâs a hint of amusement in his eyes as they trail over your outfit: the same one you wore to dinner last night, the same one you picked up off his bedroom floor this morning and shoved on hastily to get to this meeting in time. (Good morning, dear.)
Before you get a chance to respond, your neighbor from across the hall plunks down in the seat on your other side.
âEscuchaste ese ruido anoche?â She asks, sounding more amused than annoyed. (Did you hear that noise last night?)
âQuĂ© ruido?â You ask with a raised brow. (What noise?)
She smirks with satisfaction, like she knows something you donât. And then she looks pointedly between you and Frankie. âSuena como si nuestro fantasma en el apartamento 512 hubiera conseguido un socio para Ă©l.â (It sounds like our ghost in apartment 512 got himself a partner.)
You nearly choke on your own tongue, but Frankie just chuckles raspily and wraps an arm around your shoulders. He learned all about the rumors from you last night over dinner, and he thinks theyâre hilarious. Besides, theyâll die out soon enough anywayâheâs never slept quite as peacefully as he did last night in your armsâif he doesnât feed them a little bit. And if feeding the rumors means keeping you moaning and groaning the way he did last night, he canât say he minds it one bit.

how do you think each of the boyd boys would handle being turned into a werewolf? (100% a horse question)
Steve Murphy: Look, Steve Murphy is already the most overworked and stressed out gringo in Colombia! Being a wolf on top of that is the last thing he needs! He *will* eventually make it work though, because heâs nothing if not a hardworking problem-solver. He will figure out a system, which will probably (to his chagrin) involve entrusting Javi with his secret, and then⊠I think eventually the full moon is gonna feel like a nice little vacation. He gets to burn off some stress! It literally forces him to take a night off work!! Thisâll be good for him, even if his new canine instincts *will* make him insufferable on the field.
Donald Pierce: Pierce HATES the idea of losing control over himself⊠but he as to admit, being a werewolf *might* be the next best thing if he canât be a mutant. I think heâs gonna wanna study every aspect of his condition - heâs gonna set up video camera to record his transformation, test out his new reflexes, try to track different scents throughout the month. Heâll actually have a lot of fun figuring this out⊠once it stops driving him crazy. And, letâs be real, if being a werewolf comes with a ready-made pack, that might be exactly the thing Pierce needs, even if it takes him some time to warm up to it. (The first morning he wakes up in a puppy pile with seven other werewolves is sort of the best day of his life.)
Cap Hatfield: Oh this is fucking awesome! He can run naked through the woods like heâs always wanted!! As far as Cap is concerned, this has no downsides!! He can turn his whole family and theyâll all be wolves together!
The Corinthian: Honestly, Iâm not sure the Corinthian would have a good time with it. The Corinthian very much likes having control of the sort of monster he is, and when heâs a werewolf he has no control over his instincts, or worse, how heâs perceived by others. Being in a pack *might* prove good for him if it forces him to hand over his leash, but I canât imagine heâll submit easy.
Clement Mansell: Oh, Clement thinks this is the coolest thing thatâs ever happened to him. He writes songs about it. He brags about it to everyone whoâll listen. He gets a wolf tattoo on his back. He gives himself a wolf themed crime alias. I feel like Clement might *try* to push around the other wolves and assert himself as the alpha, but honestly, heâs gonna roll over fast when it comes down to it. And at the end of the day heâs gonna fall into line pretty quick if it means he gets a family out of it.
Eli Klaber: Klaber does not like this at all! Itâs a lot of moving parts for him to deal with, and he finds the new wolf traits really⊠uncivilized. Klaber isnât always a tame thing, but I think similar to the Corinthian, he likes to feel in control of himself and how he presents to the world. But Klaber is also looking for belonging, and if he can get over the urge to chase squirrels and piss on fire extinguishers, he might just find it in his pack. (Heâd be such a loyal little wolf.)
Ty Shaw: Yeah, this is fine. Really, itâs just a nice excuse for a monthly camping trip. Plus sometimes, he gets to bring home deer meat for his family! I feel like Ty actually has some good alpha potential - I can see him building his own pack and taking care of them.
Quinn McKenna: Another thing to worry about??! As if he doesnât have enough on his plate?! Quinn HATES having to plan around this. Some of the werewolf instincts are useful as a soldier, but I bet as a sniper it also makes it harder - heâs suddenly a little more distractible than he likes. And you know, Iâm not sure Quinn actually likes having a pack? I think even as a werewolf itâs a lot of overstimulation and contact. Heâs absolutely the sort to abruptly decide heâs DONE mid-play session and snap at his packmate.

My Wife, My Home (Javier Peña)
Pairing: Javier Peña X Wife!Reader
Summary: after leaving Cali, Javi wanted to settle down, he wanted a home, and a morning with his wife makes him feel right at home.
Warnings: 18+, minors dni, unprotected sex (wrap it kids, be safe) oral (f receiving), fingering, creampie, dirty talk, soft dom!Javi, bit of choking, housewife kink, established married relationship (assume bc in involved), cursing duh
I also think this goes without saying but reader is Hispanic here, feels more accurate
WC: 3.1k
A/N: not me writing javi shit like my life depended on it, if only I did my school work this quick. Yeah so I'm not even gonna lie, this was the product of me being horny while watching narcos. It is currently 3am on a school night and I'm out here writing smut. So I really fucking hope it's worth it. Enjoy the sin you filthy bitches
Ps: theres a high chance I might make most of the readers from my upcoming Javi fics Hispanic/spanish speaking, it just makes more sense to me since A) he lived in Colombia for a decade and B) hes from a predominantly Hispanic city in Texas, it must feel more accurate. Also I want to give myself representation in fics. But that's about as far as I'll go with specifications, it shouldn't be too disruptive. Reader will just know Spanish so.
Feedback and reblogs are highly appreciated!
Home. It had always been a foreign concept to Javier. He never really pictured himself settling down, and god knows he tried. It didn't quite work out, and for the better part of a decade he was down in Colombia basically asking for a bullet every day. The last thing he ever expected was to get married, leave said country and settle down. But he did, he fell in love like a fucking idiot and once his assignment in Cali was done, he asked for an immediate transfer back home. He was done with the bullets, death and blood, he wanted peace. And for once in over a decade, he actually felt at peace and like he belonged somewhere. With someone.Â
It was extremely rare for Javier to sleep on most days, even if he no longer had to wake up to the sound of gunshots, or to a call to the office, or get no sleep altogether, so many years of the same can create new, hard to break habits. His time in Colombia had turned him into an extremely light sleeper. This morning was the extremely rare instance where he slept through the night and most of the morning. He blamed you for being so goddamn irresistible he couldn't keep his hands off you last night. If it hadn't been for the fact that the sun had illuminated pretty much the entire room and your side of the bed was cold and empty, he probably would've easily slept all morning. But alas, the lack of your warm body next to his was often the only reason he got up most mornings. If you weren't in bed he couldn't sleep. It was that simple.Â
After a long while of tossing and turning, Javier peeled one eye open, adjusting to the sudden exposure of light before he turned on his back and opened both eyes fully. He blinked a couple of times as he patted the spot next to him, just for good measure, and you weren't in fact in bed. He yawned softly as he sat up. He didn't hear running water so you probably weren't in the bathroom. He thought for a second and half smiled, knowing where you were.Â
He could already hear the faint sound of your voice and quiet music playing as he headed downstairs. And fuck did he loved the sight in front of him. His perfect fucking wife, barefoot and wearing one of his too-big tshirts as you stood in the kitchen, hips swaying softly along to the music on the radio. He stood there, simply admiring the sight in front of him for a good minute. He didn't know exactly what you were making, but he just knew that whatever it was, it smelled fucking amazing, and you looked good doing it too. Something about seeing you just so comfortable, like you were in your element, it made him completely lose his mind. He liked to think of himself as progressive, he knew perfectly that you were capable of working and he would support you if you did, but he loved the idea of you, turning the house he bought you into the home he so desperately wanted. It gave him something good, something fucking amazing and something that he thought long ago he was no longer deserving of. His perfect wife ran the perfect home, while he did everything else, it worked. And he could only imagine how much more perfect it would be the day you have kids filling your home. But that was a talk for another day. For now, he just wanted his wife.Â
Javier eventually stopped creepily stalking and actually approached you. Your back was turned to him so he took that chance to come up behind you and wrap his arms around your waist, he leaned down and whispered, "Buenos dĂas dulzura."Â
"Ay carajo," you cursed, jumping a bit startled. You were a bit too engulfed in both the music and making breakfast, so much that you didn't hear Javier come down. You eventually smiled, giggling softly. "You scared me, pendejo."Â
"Jeez that mouth," Javier laughed and clicked his tongue in disapproval, he would note that for later. You laughed and rolled your eyes at him, resuming your task of whisking some eggs in a bowl. Without saying much, he tucked his face into your neck as he pulled you flat against his chest, happily taking in your scent. And this, the familiar warmth of your body against his, your scent mixed with his, this was exactly what home felt like. "What are you making cariño?"Â
"Scrambled eggs, bacon and pancakes." You responded with a soft hum, giggling when you felt his lips tickle your neck. "There's fresh coffee too, if you want some." All you heard was a stifled hum because he was already making work of kissing your neck, his tongue sticking out to trace over your skin. You gasped quietly, the sound turning into a giggle as you tilted your head to give Javier more room, and that was the invitation he needed to press you flush against the counter with a sudden force that made you have to brace yourself. He didn't know what it was, maybe it was the image of his pretty wife, in his clothes, in his kitchen making him breakfast on a Sunday morning. Or maybe it was just the simple fact that he simply couldn't keep his hands off you. The hell did it matter, he just wanted you, that's all that mattered, right?
"Javi," you gasped with a small chuckle and you sucked in a sharp breath when you felt one of his hands travel down your stomach until his hand slipped into your panties. You had to set down the whisk and set the bowl aside to compose yourself, "mi cielo I'mâ fuckâ I'm trying to make you â fuck Javiâ make you breakfast."Â
"No I know," you could just hear the smugness in his voice, and you just knew he was smirking even though you couldn't see it. He pulled his hand out of your panties and spun you around, his lips came crashing against yours as soon as you were facing him. He gripped your jaw as he slipped in his tongue, taking your breath away for a few seconds before he pulled away to look at you. When he met your eye, the sight of you already desperate and panting made his skin burn with a mixture of lust and love. "But I want you more."Â
At this point you didn't even have to say anything, the sight of you, flushed and breathless was enough. You simply nodded. Once Javier made sure nothing was on the stove, he crouched down, grabbed the back of your thighs and hoisted you up with ease. His lips were back on yours as he walked a couple feet to the kitchen island and he set down on it. The cold surface against your bare thighs made you hiss, but you quickly forgot about the discomfort once you saw him drop to his knees in front of you, brown eyes staring up at you hungrily as he placed both of his palms flat on your thighs.Â
"C'mon baby, open," he muttered as he pressed his lips to your inner thigh and positioned himself between your thighs, his broad shoulders inevitably prying them open. He tore your panties off so quickly you thought he ripped them, but then again you didn't care, he'd buy you a new pair. You heard him mutter a quiet 'fuck' before he leaned foward and licked a long stripe over your clit with the tip of his tongue. Your lips parted open as a small gasp slipped from your lips, your thighs already starting to shake and your heart to race.Â
Javier caught a quick glance of you, already so desperate and eager for him to ruin you, to have his mouth on you until you were shaking. That was exactly what he wanted. There was a small smirk on his lips as he gripped your thighs and brought them over his shoulders so he could bring you closer. And that he did. He closed his lips around your clit and swirled his tongue in circles, lavishing the nerve with attention. You actually cried out this time and one of your hands flew to his hair while the other somewhat balanced you up.Â
"Javi, Javi, Javi." You said his name like a quiet praise as he licked through your folds, sucked your clit and slipped his tongue inside you, working his tongue like that was the only thing he had to do in life, like this was his mission. You legs trembled around his head and your hips involuntarily lifted off the counter, but Javier slipped an arm over your stomach.Â
"Stay still dulzura," he muttered as he held you down and two fingers from his other hand replaced his tongue inside you. You nearly slipped off the counter then. Javier curled his fingers just as he applied the slightest bit of pressure on your lower abdomen with his hand, almost as if to give you a warning. "What did I just say cariño? Be a good girl and stay still."Â
You gasped when his tongue circled around your clit again as his fingers worked inside you, but you managed to stay still, only your thighs trembling as you gave up on your balance and laid with your back flat on the counter.Â
"That's it baby. Good girl." He hummed, feeling how your walls closed around his fingers, he knew your body like his own, he knew you were so close. He added a third finger, successfully stretching you enough to have you screaming. "You're so close aren't you dulzura? Come on, come for me."Â
He didn't even have to say it, the second he added that third finger it became too much, too sensitive and you felt everything all at once. It was all so much and you loved it.Â
The taste of your release coated his tongue and the sounds of your moans sent him on overdrive. He wanted to feel you, not just like this, no he needed to feel you squeeze him as came around him. He fucking needed it.Â
He gave you a minute, he ran his tongue over your clit slowly, fingers still inside you until you were clasping his head with your thighs and you were pulling at his hair. Only then he pulled away. He left a hot kiss on your inner thigh before he stood up. You gasped softly when his fingers left you, but you were ready for something even better to replace them.Â
Your legs were dangling off the counter and you were staring up at the ceiling as you tried to catch your breath. Out of your blurry vision you saw your husband tower over you. You hadn't really taken the time to look at him this morning. His brown hair was tousled from both sleep and your fingers, his face was flushed red and his jaw had small dark patches of hair growing, guess he didn't shave this morning. It was such a gorgeous fucking sight.Â
"Tired already dulzura?" He teased, helping you sit up, "we can stoâ"Â
"Absolutely fucking not. I need you Javi." You begged him, making an attempt to tug his boxers down his hips. He watched you with amusement and bit his lip, nodding. There was nothing he loved more than seeing his wife so desperate and begging, begging him to fuck her. He knew damn well he was the only one who could give you exactly what you needed, he gave you just as much as you gave him, and he took pride in that.Â
"You look so pretty when you beg," he pressed a wet and sloppy kiss to your lips before he grabbed you by your hips, pulled you off the island and turned you around, bending you over. "Mhm, I'll give you exactly what you need, dulzura, just relax for me."Â
He tugged his boxers off the rest of the way before he eased a hand up your spine, holding you steady with the other hand on your hip. He felt the way your shoulders relaxed and your whole body gave out basically, giving him the freedom to do as he pleased. No hesitation, no questions asked, you trusted him with your life and he loved that.Â
He slid inside you with ease, his fingers and tongue having worked perfectly, your walls still squeezed him so tight he rolled his eyes back and an uneven exhale left his lips as he bottomed out himself inside of you. You, on the other hand, were not so modest, an obscenely loud moan slipped past your lips, making you thank god for Javi's idea of buying a house with no neighbors too close by. It was just always so intense at first, maybe you were just hypersensitive from having a previous orgasm, but then again, Javier felt the same. He always had to control himself, remind himself to take it slow otherwise the feeling of you would become so much he would fucking lose it.Â
He went slow at first, taking his time with each thrust, allowing you to draw out the feeling each and every time he hit that perfect spot. You loved the feeling, but you needed more.Â
"Javi.." you whined softly, gripping the counter to brace yourself for what you were about to ask for, "more. I need more, please."Â
"Oh, my pretty girl wants more huh?" You didn't have to say anything else, Javier was a simple man, he did as his wife asked and if you wanted more he would give you more. He would give you anything you wanted. His grip on your hip tightened as he picked up his pace, going from a gentle rock of his hips to absolutely wrecking and unforgiving. He had you screaming in a matter of seconds. "Oh yeah, you like that, don't you bonita?"Â
"Fuck Javiâ feels so good," you cried out as you gripped the counter with a bruising grip, and even then your chest would still slip back and forth with each snap of his hips. Your mind was completely clouded, all you could think about was the burning feeling in your stomach.Â
"You're taking me so well, dulzura. So fucking well." He groaned out, teeth digging into his bottom lip as his thrusts got harsher. Judging by the way your walls were clenching around him he knew you were close to tipping over the edge, and as soon as you did he would follow, he knew that much. "So fucking perfect. You're my perfect little wife, walking around my house, wearing my fucking clothes, just begging to get fucked in my kitchen. Do you have any idea what that does to me bonita?" His thrusts only got harder and harsher with each rasped word he spoke. He also slipped his hand down your body and started rubbing quick circles on your swollen clit, adding on to your already oversensitive state.
"Oh fuck Javi. It's too muchâ fuck I need toâ" your words got cut off by Javier pulling you up by your hair and holding you flush against his chest as he fucked you relentlessly, his quick and uneven breaths filling your ear.Â
"That's right dulzura, just come for me," he rasped in your ear, his hand resting on the column of your neck as he gripped your jaw and turned your face to capture your lips into a hot messy kiss. He swallowed your moans and held you as you trembled, your legs giving out as a blinding orgasm washed over you. Javier fucked you through it, a moan of his own slipping past his lips when you walls started to squeeze him.Â
"Fuck baby just like that," he panted, his thrusts becoming short and sharp as he chased his own high. You let him do so, the over stimulation had you trembling and your vision became blurry with tears. The soft whimpers of his name that came out of your mouth only fueled him further. His eyes suddenly rolled into the back of his head and his mouth fell open as he suddenly stopped and held you down on his cock as he spilled himself inside you, "Oh fuck. That's it, dulzura, that's it. Good girl."Â
You weren't sure how long you just stood there, holding each other. You could feel your combined releases begin to drip down your thigh, but you didn't give a fuck. This just felt right. This felt exactly right. You knew it, and Javier knew it. This is exactly where you were meant to be, where you felt at peace. Tangled up with each other, together. This was where Javier felt safe, but it wasn't a house in Texas, that wasn't his home. You were. Whenever you were, that's what he was meant to be. That's where his home was. He was reminded of it every time he held you like this.Â
Javier made the first attempt to move, he seemed to have composed himself a bit quicker than you. But then again, he had just fuck the lights out of you mere seconds ago, so it was understandable. He stepped back, exhaling sharply when he slipped out of you. Immediately, juices dripped down your thighs and you hissed softly, suddenly feeling empty. He caught a quick glimpse of the mess he left between your legs and smirked softly. He was always proud of his work.Â
"My pretty wife," he hummed, absolutely loving the love sick fucked out look on your face. He adored the look in your eyes every time you looked at him. You always had this loving look in your eyes. He always said you were perfect, that you were the perfect wife, and to you, he was that. He was the perfect husband. He ran a hand over your face and gently brushed your hair back, a gentle and sweet gesture completely opposing his more animalistic and harsh thrusts from before. He exhaled sharply as he pressed a slower and sweeter kiss to your lips. "So perfect. You were made for me, verdad que sĂ dulzura? I love you so much."Â
"I love you too, Javi." You cupped his jaw, noting how flushed his face and chest were. You wouldn't be surprised if you looked even more fucked out than he did though.Â
"C'mon dulzura, let's get you cleaned up." He grabbed your hand and started to pull you away when you looked at him suspiciously.Â
"Am I going to shower alone?"Â
"No," he scoffed like the question offended him and continued to drag you, a small grin tugging at his lips, "we're just gonna do this all over again."Â
The fucked out smile that fell on your lips only reminded him how right he was.
Javier Peña, this is your home.Â

You hated Javier Peña. He was everything you despised about most of the men you'd ever known and so you chose to ignore him but you always had time for Steve. Much to the agent's confusion.Â
What Javier didn't know was that you and Steve had known each other back in Miami. You were a friend of Connie's and had been in need of a job. So he had set you up with a secretarial position and two years later you'd found yourself moving to Colombia to assist the DEA in the hunt for Escobar.Â
You had been glad to have Connie and Steve there when you'd arrived. Moving to a new country hadn't seemed so daunting when you had your two best friends waiting for you when you had arrived. You had then started a few days after you arrived. Being warned on day one about the notorious Javier Peña, womaniser and heartbreaker and Stephen Murphy's partner.Â
"Morning sweetheart." Called out Steve as he and Javi made their way over to the office they shared, just like he did every morning.Â
"Morning Agent Murphy." You said with a smile and Steve gave you a wink.Â
"Morning Hermosa." Javier followed but you didn't answer him, just returned your attention to your task at hand.Â
His brows drew together as his eyes drifted from you to his partner. He'd been nothing but pleasant to you from the moment you'd arrived but you, you'd been nothing but cold.Â
"You know Steve's married right?" He pipped up, jumping back at the look you gave him.
"Excuse me?"Â
"Steve's married." He repeated and you scoffed.Â
"So?"Â
"So don't go getting your hopes up that something might happen between you both." He said softly and you scoffed.Â
"Fuck off Peña." You snapped before getting up from your desk and stalking away, leaving a shocked Peña in your wake.Â
Making his way over to the office, he couldn't help but vent his frustrations to his partner. He had just been trying to look out for you.Â
"What the fuck is her problem?" He snapped, dragging Steve's attention away from his desk.Â
"Who's problem?" Steve asked as a bemused expression crossed his face.Â
"That new secretary." He growled, "Every morning she's been perfectly pleasant to you but the moment I speak to her she fucking ignores me. She obviously has a thing for you."Â
"Maybe she's heard about your transgressions with the other secretaries." Steve snorted and Javier scoffed.Â
"So what? She's just decided that I'm an asshole and you're a fucking angel?"Â
"One," Stever started as he lit a cigarette "You are an asshole. Two, I have known her for years. She was a friend of Connie's and I hooked her up with a job at the Miami office."Â
"Oh." Javier said, feeling a little guilty about his previous comment "Right."Â
"Why does it bother you so much?" Steve asked as he pulled out the paperwork he knew needed to be done that day "Didn't think you cared about if people liked you."Â
"I don't." He answered quickly and Steve's brow quirked at that "I don't care."Â
"You like her." The younger agent teased and Javier scoffed.Â
"Unlikely."Â
"Oh come on." Steve needled "It's clear you're attracted to her. You call her beautiful every morning. Don't call any of the other secretaries that."Â
Javier didn't answer, just gave his partner the finger before he knuckled down to finish his own paperwork, knowing that it was going to be a long day. So when it was all finished and the two of them headed over to you to hand the documents over, he couldn't help the hurt expression that crossed his face when you gave Steve a warm smile as you received his. Then glared at him when he handed his own folder over.Â
Steve watched the interaction and felt a little sorry for his partner. Javier had been trying hard with you and you hadn't given him an inch. So an idea popped into his head as a triumphant smile crossed his face.
"Say, Con and I were planning on heading out for a few drinks tomorrow. Wanna come?" He asked you and you nodded eagerly "Great, meet you in the lobby at 8?"Â
"See you then." You replied before taking the files away to hand them over to the relevant people.Â
"You wanna join man?" Steve asked when you were out of earshot and Javier sighed.Â
"Nah, she won't want me there so-"Â
"Maybe this will be a chance for her to see that you'd not an asshole all the time?" Steve interrupted and Javier groaned "Come on, we deserve a break."Â
"Fine." Javier conceded after a brief pause and Steve grinned again.
"Great!"Â
...
That following evening you'd put on a cute black dress and some simple heels. Your makeup was minimal and your hair was thrown into a loose bun with a few stray curls handing down to frame your face.Â
Even you could admit you looked cute.Â
When eight came around, you grabbed your purse and keys and made your way out to the lobby, shocked to see Steve and Connie already standing there. With Javier.Â
"Ready to go?" Connie asked as she looped her arm in yours and dragged you to the door, not giving you a chance to retreat back through your apartment door.Â
"Steve didn't tell me he was coming." You hissed when the boys were out of earshot and Connie sighed.Â
"Javi's been a bit down lately and Steve thought it would cheer him up."Â
"Boohoo." You scoffed and Connie groaned.
"Can you put your feelings for Javier aside for one night and just enjoy yourself." She snapped.
"Feelings? I don't have any feelings for him."Â
"Just lay off the Peña hating okay." She pleaded "For me."Â
You sighed, looking over your shoulder at the two men who trailed a little behind you. You'd be lying if you said you didn't find Javier attractive. Anyone with eyes could see that he was desirable but you hated what he represented.Â
"Fine." You scoffed when you looked back at her "Just for tonight."Â
You reached the bar shortly after that. You and Connie grabbed a table whilst the two agents fetched some drinks. The atmosphere was electric. Music blasting from the speakers whilst couples swayed and ground against each other. You'd not been out since Connie had left Miami. So to be out with her again felt like old times and you giggled with her as a few shots were placed on the table in front of you, both grabbing one in unison. Downing it just as quickly.Â
Large quantities of alcohol were consumed as the night progressed and you relaxed around Javier a little. Even laughing along with him as he told you stories of the craziness Steve had gotten into in the year and a half that you'd not seen him. Then you'd found yourself dancing with the man whilst Steve and Connie got lost in each other. The alcohol had put a cork in the hate you felt for this man and instead you allowed yourself to get pulled into his web. His scent was maddening and his hips hypnotic. His large hands guided yours as he buried his face in the crook of your neck. You felt yourself growing hot when his lips found the juncture between your neck and shoulder, setting off fireworks in your lower belly as his hands travelled. Then you were dragging him out back and kissing him with reckless abandon.Â
"This doesn't mean I don't still hate you." You growled against his lips as you kissed him.
"Noted." He replied, kissing your back with just as much fire "Wanna get out of here?" He asked and you nodded, Connie and Steve were forgotten.Â
Next thing you knew you were stumbling through his front door, tearing off each other's closed as you walked blindly towards his bedroom. When your knees hit the edge of the mattress you fell back, pulling him with you.Â
"I want you to fuck me from behind." You purred "I don't want to look at you."Â
Javier was glad it was dark because his face would have betrayed how much that comment stung. But it soon disappeared and he was flipping you onto your belly and swiping his fingers through your folds.Â
"No foreplay." You warned as you got on all fours, gasping a few moments later when he sheathed himself inside of you.Â
It was rough and passionate and you mewled as he hit places no man had ever hit before. You had to give it to the man... he knew how to fuck a woman. No wonder he'd broken so many hearts. The sounds that filled the room were lewd. Your combined moans and the sound of his hips smashing against your ass just turned you on even more and he was successful in pulling a record five orgasms out of you before he buried himself inside of you and painted your walls with his spend. The two of you fell asleep shortly after that.Â
When you woke a few hours later with strong arms holding you against a warm, firm body, you turned your head to see Javier sleeping soundly behind you. You internally scorned yourself.Â
How could you let this happen?
You then managed to peel him off of you and made your way through his apartment as quietly as you could. Throwing on your clothes and sneaking out of his apartment.Â
~
Connie had been round the following morning, banging on your door and demanding answers to where you'd disappeared to. Meanwhile, Steve was doing the same across the hall with Javier.Â
"You just disappeared man."
"I hooked up with a girl," Javier stated simply. "She snuck out though."Â
"Oh, wow. Who was it?." Steve asked, your name falling from his lips as his eyes drifted to the front door.Â
"Like she'd sleep with me." Javier scoffed "I can't remember if I'm being honest brother, drank way too much last night."Â
"You and me both." Steve groaned as he pinched the bridge of his nose
"Why'd you think I slept with her anyway?" Javier questioned and Steve shrugged.Â
"She disappeared too. Connie's over there now, grilling her. Woman was losing her shit." Javier laughed at that.Â
"Perhaps she pulled?" Javier suggested and Steve nodded.Â
"Yeah, maybe."Â
...Â
You'd been relieved to learn from Steve that Javier hasn't remembered who it was he'd hooked up with that night. You had told Connie that you'd picked up a guy, taken him home and fucked him before turning him out.Â
A girl has needs.
It looked like you'd gotten away with scot-free. You went back to blanking Javier and he went back to looking wounded every time he walked passed your desk. You weren't exactly sure why your refusal to pander to him bothered him so much. It's not like he liked you.Â
Four weeks later though, the consequences of your actions caught up with you in the form of two positive pregnancy tests. You'd called Connie over as soon as you'd found out and sobbed into her shoulder a while before she'd sat you down and asked you what you were going to do.Â
The answer had been simple.
You were going to keep it.Â
That had never been in question. What was killing you was the fact that you'd lied about who you had slept with that night and that the father of your child didn't even remember. You pondered whether or not you should tell him. Wondered how he would react. Would he want it?Â
You decided though that it would just be easier if you said nothing. You would do this alone. You were content with that. It was how things had to be.Â
~
3 months later...
Javier couldn't help but notice how you were sporting what looked like a baby bump as he made his way in that morning. He was a little later than usual, his alarm clock having died at some point during the night. You were talking to a colleague as you rubbed your belly affectionately with your thumb and he was certain then.Â
You were pregnant.Â
He blurted your name out as he entered the office, startling Steve "Is she pregnant?" He asked and Steve laugh.
"Not as far as I'm aware. Why?"Â
"She just... Well, she looks like she has a bump is all."Â
Steve couldn't help but notice what his partner mean when looked over at your desk, just as you reached it with a mug in hand.Â
"Well shit, yeah kinda does look like she has one." He replied, "Maybe she got knocked up by that one-night stand."Â
"What one-night stand?" Javier pushed and Steve shrugged.
"The night we all went out. She apparently hooked up with some guy then kicked him out." He replied nonchalantly "Maybe she got pregnant."Â
Something about that story didn't sit right with Javier. The more he'd thought back to his own rendezvous, the more he thought about how familiar the girl had felt. But the snippets he could remember were just moans and the line of her back as he'd pounded her from behind. No face.Â
...
You'd announced your pregnancy the following day. It was pretty hard to hide now as you'd popped overnight. Connie had managed to keep your secret from Steve and you'd chuckled when he whined about how he 'couldn't believe you hadn't told him.' Javier had stood on the sidelines whilst Murphy and a few others in the office had played twenty questions.Â
"Why's the father?" Steve asked and you sighed "Just some guy I met at the bar. Never got his number so... Looks like I'll be doing this alone."Â
"You won't be alone." Steve said softly as he playfully knocked your chin "You'll have Con and me."Â
The weeks flew by and with each month your bump grew. Javier's infatuation grew too. He found himself more and more drawn to you but he didn't know why. Something needled at the back of his mind. Something just out of sight that felt like, if he could just reach it, it would give him all the answers. Yet it remained out of reach. Â
Then you disappeared from the office and he'd been frantic. Asking around all the secretaries but none of them had known where you were. Then later that afternoon, Steve had turned up all smiles.Â
"She has the baby." He gushed and Javier felt himself relax "Weird though, the kid looks just like you." He chuckled and Javier suddenly felt his stomach sink.Â
A week later you visited the office.Â
Javier's attention had been caught by the sounds of girls cooing and then a baby crying. He'd practically stumbled out of his chair, catching sight of you cradling a tiny baby with a head of dark hair in your arms.Â
"Sorry agent Peña." Called one of the newer girls "Didn't mean to disturb you."Â
You turned to see him standing there staring at the infant in your arms and you started to panic.Â
Did he know she was his?Â
He took a few ginger steps forward, his eyes never leaving the tiny little being in your arms and he felt something pulling at him. Steve was right, she did look like him. She had his pouty bottom lip and sported a frown that mirrored his own.Â
He then looked at you and you saw something in his eyes that made your blood go cold.
He knew. You were sure of it.Â
He didn't say anything though, just gave you a small smile "Congratulations." He said simply "She's beautiful ." He finished before turning on his heels and retreating to his office.Â
You prayed that the worry was over... oh how you were wrong.Â
That evening, banging on your door tore you from the conversation you were having with Connie as she rocked your newborn in her arms. You made your way to the door and jumped back when Javier forced himself in.Â
"Is she mine?" He growled and you tried to scoff but you knew it wasn't believable.Â
"No, why would she be?" You snapped and his eyes grew dark.Â
"Don't lie to me." He growled, "Is she mine."Â
"What would lead you to think that?" You questioned as your heart hammered in your throat.Â
"I've been wracking my brain trying to remember the girl from that night." He started "She felt familiar... when I think of that night, the feelings I recall mirror the ones that spring up every time I look at you."Â
"What?"Â
"But she was gone before I woke up." He continued, skipping over your question "Then you turn out to be pregnant from a one-night stand from the same night yet there was no guy the next morning."Â
"I kicked him out." You argued and he scoffed.
"Yeah, that's a convenient excuse."Â
"Fuck you, Peña." You growled, your anger boiling over now.Â
"Is she mine... yes or no."
"YES." You yelled, taking not only Javier but Connie by surprise "Yes he's yours." You repeated as the tears you'd managed to hold back until now finally broke free.
Javier choked on a sob as he stumbled backwards. His dark orbs glitter with tears.Â
"Why didn't you say anything?" He asked, his voice small and you scoffed.
"Because I was ashamed of the fact I slept with you." You snapped "When I learned you'd forgotten who it was I thought I'd won the lottery but then I learned I was pregnant and well..."Â
"Were you ever going to tell me?" He asked, his tears glittering on his cheeks.Â
"No." You stated simply and he broke "Let's face it. You wouldn't have believed it and it's not like you're up for a serious relationship and a baby." You scoffed "So I thought it would just be easier if I said nothing."Â
"And let me see you with my daughter every day... completely unaware that she was mine?"
"Why do you care Javier ?" You groaned "Why does it matter that I didn't tell you?"Â
"Because I like you." He replied simply "Despite the fact that for the past year you've treated me like dirt every single day, I still seemed to fall for you."Â
You were rendered speechless at his statement, suddenly feeling extremely guilty.Â
"I want to be a part of her life." He stated, his eyes drifting to the tiny bundle in Connie's arms "I know you hate me but please... let me be a part of my daughter's life."Â
You knew you had no right to deprive him of that. So you simply nodded then watched as he made his way over to Connie, his eyes growing wide as he gazed down at the life he helped create.Â
"Can I?"
"Sure." You said, nodding at Connie who handed the sleepy bundle to the agent.Â
A smile broke out across his face as he stared lovingly at his baby girl. He was completely oblivious to the sharp stare you were receiving from Connie as she made her way over to you.Â
"I can't believe you." She growled and winced "You've not only lied to the man whose baby you carried for nine months but you lied to me." She shout-whispered "I can't even look at you right now."Â
"Connie please."Â
She held her hand up to stop you and you sobbed. You'd really fucked up.Â
...
Javier was over every evening from that night onwards. Helping with everything he could and making you realise how wrong you were to keep your pregnancy from him. Connie hadn't spoken to you since then and you understood why. Javier, however, had been nothing but lovely to you and suddenly you found yourself questioning why you'd resented him so much. You'd allowed others to build your opinion of him and you felt monumentally guilty.Â
"You said that you like me." You said out of the blue one evening as Javier fed the baby her evening bottle.Â
"I did." He replied simply as he turned his head to look at you.Â
"What did you mean by that?" You asked and he sighed, his gaze returning to the hungry infant in his arms.Â
"It means that I somehow fell for you despite you giving me no indication that you felt anything but contempt towards me." He replied and your eyes softened "Since finding out that it was you I'd slept with that night, more memories have come back." He stated and your brows drew together "How you didn't want to look at me whilst we fucked being the one that sticks out the most." He finished and you flinched.Â
Silence hung over you both for a while. The only sound being your baby sucking eagerly at her bottle. But then he spoke again and what he said hit hard.Â
"That hurt." He confessed, "But I wanted so badly to make you feel good that I pushed that aside."Â
"I'm sorry."Â
"You hate me." He said with a shrug and you flinched at his statement "I guess a part of me hoped that us having a baby together might soften your opinions of me... maybe even give me a chance to court you but I know I'm deluding myself there so-"Â
"I don't hate you." You interrupted, stopping him in his tracks "But I don't trust you either."Â
"What do I need to do to earn your trust?" He pushed and you sighed.Â
"Not sure there's much you can do Javier." You shrugged "You are who you are and I don't expect you to change just because we have a baby together."Â
"But I-"
You held your hand up to stop him "I'm sorry Javier... That's just the way things are." You sighed "Men like you don't change."Â
...Â
Connie had forgiven you eventually but her main reason for doing so was she became a mum herself to a girl that Steve and Javier had saved from the Communa. She was a natural and the two of you became even closer as you went through this journey together.Â
Olivia was a few months older than your own daughter and happy despite what she'd witnessed a few weeks back. The agents had found her surrounded by the bodies of her family and it had brought both men to tears. No one was safe from Escobar.Â
"How are things going with Javier?" She asked as she emerged from putting Olivia down for a nap.Â
"Okay." You answered, shrugging slightly "He's a great dad to Libby."Â
"But?" She said and you sighed.
"He told me again that he wants to be with me and shit... Said that he doesn't see his informants anymore. All the secretaries are grumpy because he doesn't flirt with them anymore and I get why he's doing it but I just struggle to believe that he's willing to just drop that lifestyle to be with me."Â
"Got your fucking stubborn." Connie snorted and you rolled your eyes at her "He's crazy about you... Lord knows why, you're a bitch to him, but he's been doing everything in his power to gain your trust yet you refuse to accept that a man can change."Â
"Because normally they can't." You snap back.
"But some can." Connie pushed and your heart ached a little "Are you attracted to him?" She asked and your head snapped back in surprise.
"I don't-"Â
"It's a simple question." She interrupted "Do you find him attractive."Â
"Yes." You replied simply and she gave you a small smile.
"Then give him a chance." She pleaded and you let out a long sigh "He deserves that at least."Â
"Fine."Â
...
Javier was napping with Libby on his chest when you walked through the front door and a small smile crossed your lips as you took in the sight. You grabbed your polaroid from the shelf and snuck quietly over to them, snapping two pictures before leaving them on the side to develop.Â
He stirred as you started to open and close cupboards, grabbing a glass and pouring some of the Cucumber water you'd made earlier that day. He watched you as you walked over to the couch across from his, and smiled as you curled up.Â
"How was Connie?" He asked, making you jump slightly before you relaxed back into your seat.Â
"Good." You replied, "Olivia's so friggen cute." You gushed and he chucked.
"Yeah, she is." He agreed before shifting his position whilst cradling his daughter to his chest.Â
A comfortable silence settled over you all for a while as he watched his baby girl's face twitch and smile in her sleep.Â
"Let's give us a go." You said after a while, taking him by surprise.Â
"Pardon?"
"We owe it to her to see if there's something here." You said, smiling sweetly at him "I owe it to you to give you a chance."Â
"You sure Hermosa?" He asked, his brow knitting together as he studied your expression "I don't want you doing this because you feel like you have to."Â
"I'm not." You stated simply "I'm doing it because I want to."Â
"Okay." He replied, giving you a nod before you both fell into silence again. Unsure what to say next.
"Where do we start?" You asked, chuckling a little.Â
"How about dinner?" He asked and you nodded.Â
"Sure." You replied, smiling sweetly at him "Dinner sounds good."Â

This Love (part two)
Pairings: Frankie Morales x reader
Warnings: Smut 18+, p in v smut, cursing, fluff, fighting.
Summary: Months after admitting your feelings for each other, your relationship with Frankie is stronger than ever. Helena makes a decision that could tear it all down. All good things must come to an end. Right?!
*comments and reblogs appreciated*
You grab the sheet tightly in your hand, a moan escaping your swollen lips.
âOh godâŠ.baby donât stopâŠjust like that.â
You move your hand to grab at his hair, tugging it harder as you near your release. Almost. Almost. Suddenly his mouth is off you and you sigh in frustration.
âFrankie, baby, I was almost there. Why did you stop. You canât just wake me up like that and then leave me all wound up.â
He laughs, kissing his way up your thigh, over your stomach and finally meeting your lips in a searing kiss. He grabs his thick cock and strokes himself twice before lining up at your core. In one swift motion he is buried to the hilt inside you, filling you completely. You let out a loud moan.
âShhhh baby, you gotta be quiet, donât want to wake Sophia.â
Itâs slow, almost lazy and you can feel every ridge, every vein on his thick member. God you love sleepy morning sex with Frankie.
âDidnâtâŠâŠthrustâŠ.letâŠ.thrustâŠ.you comeâŠ.beforeâŠ.wantedâŠughâŠ.come onâŠfuckâŠmy cock.â
âOh god FrankieâŠ.harderâŠpleaseâŠ..too slow.â
With that Frankie began pounding into you over and over. Hitting that sweet spot inside you every time. Your whole body was in ecstasy as you came loudly soaking his cock. With one final grunt Frankie spilled himself into you. He slowly pulled out and went to the en-suite to get a cloth and cleaned you up. Getting back into bed he lays down and pulls you into him.
âGod I fucking love you baby.â
âI love you to.â You snuggle into his side.
âSo what are the plans today?â He says as he runs his fingers up and down your spine.
âWell Santi is having that barbecue tonight, show off his new girl.â
âDamn forgot about that. Do we have to go?â He says snuggling closer
âYes, or Santi will come over rip you a new one.â
There is a knock at your door before Sophia comes barrelling in. Jumping on the bed, she leaps on top of Frankie.
âOof, bebita you gotta go easy, daddy is getting old nowâ he says tickling her. Once he releases her she crawls over to you.
âMorning baby, have a good sleep?â
âYeah, am I staying with my abuala today?â
âYeah baby and your going to stay for a sleepover, is that ok?â
âYeaahâ she hops down and rushes out of the room.
You turn to look at Frankie to find he already has his eyes on you, a look of adoration on his face.
âWhat?â
âYour justâŠ.so good with her, youâve always been an amazing mother to her, it gets me thinking.â
âOh no, donât hurt yourselfâ, you say laughing.
âOh youâve done it now,â he says moving on top of you tickling you.
âStopâŠ..Frankie pleaseâŠ.I canât take it.â He stops and just stares down at you.
âLetâs have a baby!â Your shocked, having not expected this conversation today.
âBefore you say anything, Iâve wanted this with you since that night at the bar. Your amazing with Sophia and she isnât even yours, you would be an amazing mom. Imagine a mini me or you and Sophia would be the best if sister.â He was rambling now and you decided to put a stop to this, so you kissed him.
âFrankieâŠâ
âItâs okâŠwe can talk about it again further down the line..â He goes to move off of you but you pull him back. You place your hands either side of his head, looking him deep in the eyes âis this what you really want?â
âYes, I want it all with you baby.â
âOk.â
âOk? As in weâre going to have a baby ok?
âYes Frankie we can try for a baby.â He plants kisses all over your face, âI love you, your going to be a hot mama, all swollen with my baby inside you.â
âOk slow down there cowboy, our eldest is awake now and could walk in any minute.â
âTonight,â he says wiggling his eyebrows at you. Heâs dressed and out the door to Sophia before you know it. Lying back on the bed you run your hand down to your stomach, imagining what it will be like carrying Frankieâs baby. You canât help the smile that spreads over your face.
****
Arriving at Santiâs that evening, Frankie is beaming, his arm wrapped around your waist.
âHermano, glad you could make it, and Y/N, looking stunning as always.â He goes to kiss your cheek but Frankie stops him, âeh no funny stuff, hijo de puta.â They both laugh and hug each other.
âSo where is this girl Pope? Or is she all in your head.â
âNah, sheâll be here soon youâll see.â
Walking towards the backyard, you spot the Miller brothers arguing over the bbq.
âYou got to put it on like this..â
âHey I know how to cook, back off benny.â Laughing at their antics you walk towards your sister.
âHey, someone seems extra cheerful tonightâ, she says nodding towards Frankie.
âIs he, I hadnât noticed.â Smiling into your beer.
âYou gave him a blowjob on the way over here?â
âHe wishes, no we had a chat this morning about the future.â
âOmgâŠaah, he proposed, I knew it, wait until I tell Will.â
âWhat thatâs not whatâŠâ
âBenny owes me 100 .â
âWait what? You guys bet on this?â
âUghâŠyeah. Come on itâs you and Frankie, I bet he had the ring picked out years ago.â
âOook, well as much as I would love to be engaged to Frankie, thatâs not it.â
âOh! Well what has him smiling like the cat that got the cream.â
âWeâre going to try for a baby.â
âAaahhhh, Iâm going to be an auntie.â
âKeep it down, Iâm not pregnant yet.â
Frankie makes his way over to you both, sits down beside you and pulls you into him.
âHey Jen, how was Mexico?â
âOh it was amazing, and the food, ugh, Iâve book it again for next year.â
****
Popeâs girl as it turned out, was Yovanna from that job in Colombia. It was a little tense at first but the guys warmed up. As the night was drawing to a close there was a knock at the door. Pope went to answer it and when he came back Frankie went stiff beside you. You turn to him and his face, it was like he saw a ghost. You follow his gaze to see Helena standing in the door to the patio.
âHelena what are you doing here?â
âNot thatâs itâs any of your business, but Iâm here to see Francisco.â If looks could kill she would be dead from the looks Jen was given her. You move your hand to Frankie thigh and give him a reassuring squeeze. He looks to you and his face softens.
âI gotta go talk to her baby, I owe her that much.â
âYou owe her nothing Frankie.â
âMaybe not but I owe it to Sophia, she is still her mother.â Frankie stands and makes his way towards her.
Pope comes to sit beside you, âhermosa are you ok?â
âWhat if she wants him back Santi? I canât lose him or Sophia, it would break me.â
âHey, now you know Fish is smitten with you, your the love of his life, she may be Sophiaâs biological mother but your her mom.â You curl into him trying not to cry.
Suddenly raised voices can be heard from inside. Pope turns to you, âhermosa I think you should go in there.â
You leave the group and make your way to Frankie and the closer you get you can make out whatâs being said.
âOh so your going to let that whore raise my daughter, I donât think so.â
âNo. You do not call her that, Y/N is not a whore, that women is my everything and sheâs more a mother to Sophia than you will ever be. You abandoned us, donât forget that, because I never will. If you want to start seeing Sophia, we can discuss it with a lawyer but donât think for one second that there will ever be anything between you and me, because there wonât. Iâve moved on, Iâm happy, I am going to marry Y/N and we are going to build a home together.â
âOh come on, FranciscoâŠ..baby, your telling me you donât want a piece of this anymore, you donât want to fuck me again.â Having heard enough you open the door and Frankie pushes Helena off of him. He comes to stand beside you, wrapping his arm around your waist. âGet out Helena, your embarrassing yourself.â
âFuck you Francisco, this isnât over.â With that she storm out, slamming he door behind her.
âBaby are you ok?â Frankie turns to you and pulls you into a kiss.
âYeah baby, Iâm fine, I love you.â
âI love you too. She canât take Sophia away, what are we going to do?â
âHey , look at me baby, Iâm not going to let that happen ok. Itâs me, you and Sophia against the world, always.â
âAnd maybe one more?â You stare at him lovingly and move his hand down towards your stomach.
âWell then we better get working on that then,â he says peppering kisses all over your face.
âActually..â He pulls back and looks at you expectantly
âAre youâŠare weâŠâ
âYeah, weâre about to become a family of fourâ. Frankie lifts you up and spins you around. âYou have just made this old man very happy. I love you, both of you, he says placing his hand back on your stomach.
âWait until we tell Sophia .â

"Tell me," there was nothing but venom lacing your voice as you stared at Javier. Your face was slick with tears as you tried to keep your lips from trembling. You wanted to break down, gods knew you did, but you weren't about to give him the satisfaction. You would do that as soon as he walked out of your apartment for what would be the last time, "go on then, tell me. Tell me you don't love me."
"Don't do this cariño," the bastard had the audacity to try and call you by your pet name, "you know this is the way. The only way."
"You're such a damn liar," you hissed at him. You should have seen this coming. You should have known.Â
You shouldn't have fallen in love with Javier Peña.
"We always knew what we were doing was wrong," it was a meek insistence, hollow and empty and neither of you quite believed it, "it was never supposed to go this far."
"This far? This far?" you wanted to scream, to grab his shoulders and shake him, to knock some sort of sense into him, but instead you just stared at him, eyes glossy with unshed tears, "did you think we would fuck and thatâs it? I told you it was never going to be just that. And you never seemed to have a problem with that."
"You need to stop," this time it was more firm and his nostrils flared as he tried to control the hit of rage that had seemed into his bones, "we both knew what this was from the start. It was just sex."
"You're here, in my apartment, lying to my face," you sniffled as you dabbed at your eyes and wished you would wake up to find this was a horrible dream. You wished you'd wake up, wrapped in his arms while he slept soundly, like you had so many other times. You wished, you wished, you wished. But that didn't change the reality of the situation, nor the gravitas of it, "if you can look in my eyes and tell me you don't love me - never loved me - do it. If you can do it, I'll let this go."
"You're being ridiculous," he huffed and rolled his eyes ever so slightly as his hands went to his hips.Â
"I'm being ridiculous?" your voice rose up about two octaves as you realized just how hysterical you did sound. But it didn't matter - once Javier had made up his mind, he was a stubborn piece of work. But you refused to let this go, "I'm not the grown man that won't even admit his own feelings. That runs every time something comes up. That shuts out everyone and everything anytime it gets real."
"Maybe you're just thinking too much into this!" and there it was - the fiery temper that he was famous for. It wasn't shocking because it had suddenly jumped out; it was shocking because he'd never raised his voice at you, "maybe you just want to make something out of nothing! It was never anything - it was just sex. Why can't you just accept that?"
"Am I supposed to be scared of you?" you raised your voice and yelled back with just as much as anger and spite as he spit at you, "you're a liar and a coward. You can't even look at me - if you don't love me fucking tell me!"
"I'm not doing this right now," he huffed as stepped over the threshold, shoulders rising and falling in rapid movements as tired to control his anger, "I'm done - whatever we had, its over now."
"Javier," you tried to reach for his hand, but he was quick to pull out of your grasp, causing you to sigh heavily, "don't walk away - not like this."
"There's nothing left to say," he insisted quietly, staring at the floor, rather than daring to look in your eyes, "I'll see you at work and that's that. Everything else is done. Obviously you cannot handle this."
"You're just going to walk away," you were incredulous as a few tears of grief and anger rolled down your cheeks, "fuck you, Javier. I hate you."Â
You slammed the door shut before he could say anything else. Tears were heavily pouring down your cheeks and spilling onto the cool slide as you sank to the floor. Small ugly little sobs racked your body as you gave up and in to your pathetic inner, upset self. You loved him, you really, really did. You knew that.Â
You knew he loved you too. You knew he was scared. Damn scared. And it was okay - if he would have opened up to you.
»»ââââ-ăâĄăââââ-««
âYou look like shit,â Steve barely looked up from his coffee and morning review of documents as Javier stormed in, practically slamming himself down in his chair. He groaned and flipped Steve the middle finger before reaching for his cigarettes, effortlessly lighting it up and leaning back, âwhat happened to you?â
Javier closed his eyes but remained silent, a vain attempt at letting his mind wander too far. He hadnât slept the night before, mind and thoughts racing over and over with snippets of his conversation with you. Your words had stuck in his mind all night: coward, coward, coward. And you had been right.Â
He was a coward; pathetic and scared all because he didnât want to risk getting hurt. Or hurting you. And in the end he had managed to do both. It was never supposed to go this far, it was never supposed to be anything more than sex, but the lines had become so blurred and so fast, and before he knew - he was in love.
And that terrified the shit out of him.Â
So he reacted how he tended to do; to push you away. To isolate himself. It was supposed to be easy, supposed to work. All it had down was leave him with regret eating him up alive. He should have admitted you were right, he should have confessed. If there was anyone worth taking a chance on - it was you. Heâd known it was you from the first time youâd had sex it was just...different. Different from every other experience heâd had. And gods, how heâd slowly fallen for all the little things you did, all your little quirks.Â
Your smile, that laugh, those eyes that seemed to convey a million emotions at once. Your steadfast stubbornness, the fact that you always called him on his bullshit, how you never backed down from confrontation, how you gave so much to others and asked for so little. How youâd chide him for getting even a papercut, and how youâd love him, even when he didnât ask you to. How you;d take him in your arms, wordlessly, and give him everything he needed and then some, how youâd chase away his fears and pain. How -Â
Everything.Â
He was in deep, and when it came down to the wire, heâd run. Like a liar and a coward.Â
His eyes snapped open and landed on the desk, the spot you normally occupied and found it empty. A scowl tugged on his features as his brows knitted together, âwhere is she?â
âHmm?â Steve looked back up and followed Javiâs line of sight before he shrugged lightly, âI talked to her this morning, said she wasnât feeling good.â
âBullshit,â he hissed under his breath, just enough for Steve to hear, âdid she say when sheâs coming back?â
âI dunno, Javi,â Steve sighed heavily, âsheâs a grown woman, if sheâs not feeling well, sheâs not feeling well. Sheâll be back when sheâs better. Calm down.â
âSteve-â
âOh god - youâre in love with her. Arenât you?â the smirk tugging on his features was undeniable as Javier rolled his eyes but refused to look over, âI knew it - everyone knew it.â
âWhat is that supposed to mean?â his mouth went dry as he looked at his partner and felt like slamming his head against the wall. Of course. Itâs so obvious.
âI mean...itâs just...everyoneâs known, Javi,â Steve couldnât help but laugh at the surprised look on his face, âitâs so obvious. Youâre different because of her - for her. You might be the last person to know. Shit...you havenât told her, have you?â
Javier made a small sound in his throat but otherwise remained silent as he stared at your desk. Not feeling well my ass, he thought to himself before running a hand over his tired face.Â
But you didnât come back the next day. Or the day after that. Or the day after that. Or -Â
Shit. He had really messed up.Â
You were all he could think about, plaguing his waking and sleeping hours as he tried to figure out what to do. His mind was on you as he sat in the office and smoked cigarette after cigarette and glossed over paperwork. You were in his every thought as he and Steve chased after some of Escobarâs men; so much that he almost slipped up and let them get away.Â
By Friday afternoon, he couldnât handle it any longer. This was ridiculous and he was going to put an end to it all, one way or another.
Javier almost jumped out of his seat, grabbing his leather jacket and half empty pack of cigarettes without a word as he stormed out of the office. Steve barely looked up in time to catch him, his question dying on his tongue as he watched his partner storm out. He didnât have to ask to know exactly what was going on.
Finally, he thought to himself shaking his head, finally.Â
»»ââââ-ăâĄăââââ-««
"Open the door," Javier's voice was commanding but it still managed to shake as he rapped his knuckles against the peeling paint of your door, "cariño, I know you're in thereâŠ"
And you were. You were curled up on the couch in your pajamas, an empty bottle of wine on the table as an old, cheesy romance movie played in the background. The lights were off and you were tired, but you still couldn't manage to find sleep.Â
You'd avoided going into the office for the last couple of days, feigning illness and earning a scoff from the ambassador, but nothing else was said. In the time you'd been in Colombia, you'd never so much as used a single sick day, so they didn't question you. But of course your partners did. Well, one of them. The other had known exactly what was going and it had been eating him up inside, even if he wasn't ready to admit it.
But his little heart to heart with Steve had inspired him - practically shoved him in the right direction. You'd been on his mind rent free since he'd left. Hell - for much longer than that.
"Go away," you managed to croak out before burrowing further into your pillow, feeling a fresh wave of tears spill down your cheeks at his presence. Knowing you almost had him but didn't was heartbreaking, "you made it clear we have nothing, Javier.â
âOpen the damn door,â there was a tone in his voice that you hadnât heard before - was that...desperation? Javier paused and sighed heavily, âplease. I-I...fuck, I fucked up.â
âIf youâre going to play some sort of cruel joke, save your breath,â you huffed, âlike you said, we are nothing. Weâll be work partners and thatâs it.â
There was a beat of silence and a part of you thought he left, you were almost relieved at the thought. But before you knew it, you heard the keys jingling in the lock and the door opened; you cursed yourself for giving him a spare set. Either way, he probably could have figured out how to get in anyways. He just couldnât let it go.
âCariño,â he came and swiftly made his way over to you, frowning when he saw you all curled up and the discarded mess around you, "I-"
"Go away, Javi," it was a pathetic plea as you glanced up at him. His heart felt it was going to shatter and break at the sight of your red, glossy eyes as you sniffled at him, "haven't you done enough? Or should I be apologizing for having feelings and being honest about them?"
"I should be begging you for forgiveness," he dropped to his knees beside you, a hand tentatively reaching out to you, as he tried to see if you would pull away. Despite wanting to, instead wishing you could yell and scream, you stay rooted in position as he gently pushed your hair out of your hair. He brushed his thumb gently over your cheek as your eyes fluttered closed at the familiar touch, "I am so sorry."
"Sorry for what?" your brow furrowed at his words, "you made yourself very clear."
"I fucked up - you're right. I am a liar and a coward," he confessed as your eyes snapped back open to meet his. They were gentle, softened in the corners with the crinkles that you adored so much, "I realized I had feelings and I panicked. I shut you out and hurt you."
"My head hurts, Javier," you sighed slightly, "just get to the point."
"I love you," he admitted and suddenly it felt your heart had dropped into your stomach as you stared at him. He was sure you must have heard the wild beating of his heart as he tried to anticipate your reaction, "I-I'm in love with you."
"If this is your idea of a joke," you moved his hand away and sat up, trying to prepare yourself for any possibility, "its even more fucked up than just breaking my heart. I knew what this started this and I should have stopped it when I started to catch feelings but I-"
But Javier didn't let you say anything further. Instead, he cut you off by crashing his lips onto yours and kissing you deeply - slowly and with meaning. It was an easy dance, one you'd done hundreds of times before. But this time just felt...different.
His arms wrapped around your waist as he pulled you close, and yours wound around his neck. Effortless and easy, just like everything with him was. It was anything frenzied or hurried, but slow and gentle as he tried to convey his every thought and feeling through his touch. He thought his heart might burst when he felt your smile whilst his lips, as you carded a hand through his dark locks.
Only when you were both breathless and drunk off of each other did you pull apart. He stared at you, his gaze soft as you grabbed his face and delicately cradled it before pressing another kiss to his lips.
"I hope this means what I think it means or I'm going to have to murder you," you whispered against his lips, as his own tugged into a smile, "because I am in love you and I don't know if I can ever change that."
"It means I'm an idiot," he admitted, "a cowardly fool that ran when things got real - although they were always real. Its obvious, isn't it? I just never realized."
"That's because you gave a thick skull, Peña," you gently tapped a knuckle against the side of his head, "and you need to learn to be more open - with me anyway. You don't have to be afraid, Javi. Not with me; I'm not going anywhere, you know that. I know you - the real you - and nothing about you scares me or whatever you think it is. I love you and that means every little bit of you."
"IâŠ" he paused for a moment, inhaling and exhaling slowly as your words washed over him. His heart had never felt warmer or more light as he realized the immense weight your words held. He closed his eyes and nodded, gently pressing his forehead against yours, "I love you. Fully and completely cariño. Even if I am an idiot."
"My idiot," you promised softly, "just talk to me next time, okay? Don't run and hide - stay with me. It'll be okay, you will always have me."
"Fuck," he whispered as he pulled you into his arms and wrapped you up in the tightest hug possible, "I'm sorry - so sorry. I love you."
"I love you, Javier," you whispered, "stay with me?"
"Always."

Oooh the fluffy prompts are fun! Could you do âare you sugar personified or something?â with Javier?
Birthday Cake (Javier Peña x f!Reader)
Summary: Your best friend Javi, the storm cloud to your rainbows and sunshine, is celebrating a birthday today. Gotta cheer the grump up!
W/C: 1.9k
Warnings: language, Javi has dirty thoughts. of course he does.
A/N: idk I just think heâs neat đ thanks for the prompt!!
Few people know things about Javier that werenât common knowledge. Most people know that his full name is Javier Peña, heâs from Texas, heâs fantastic at his job and heâs a womanizer.
You and Steve Murphy are two of the people with more knowledge. You know that he has a sweet tooth but doesnât recognize it. You know his favorite brand of cigarettes, his favorite brand of whiskey, he always knocks twice in a quick succession on a door. Heâs a wild card in the field, but heâs incredibly predictable around the embassy and as a friend.
You work as an Intelligence Research Specialist at the embassy, processing raw data and turning it into intel. This means you work closely with the agents, but Peña and Murphy are your favorites. Steve is the only man who doesnât hit on you in the entire building, and Javier is the only man who can do it in a way that makes your stomach flutter a little.
Youâre the go-to gal for the two mustached men. If they need data, youâre the one they find. And thatâs often- the two men love to make impulsive decisions about fieldwork, and youâre the one who has to give them the grounds to go do things. Youâre the one who decodes the wiretap that the agents place. You help with interrogations sometimes, and give the men recommendations on what they should do. Itâs rare that any of them, besides Peña and Murphy, listen to you, though.
The three of you are the triple threat around the office; wherever you go, the other two men arenât far behind. They follow you like ducklings to the mother bird with the information, the details, the who-what-when-and-where to their how.
The two men enjoy you too. Steve loves your baking. It reminds him of home. Javier, on the other hand, rarely comments when food is presented to him, but heâll eat plenty of the sweet treats when he thinks no one is looking. Javier refers to you as a âray-of-fucking-sunshine,â usually through a mouthful of whatever you baked last. Your positivity and energy is the complete opposite of his gruff demeanor.
Javier really likes you, more than he should. He wants you, wants to kiss you deeply and lay you down on his bed and absolutely destroy you. Youâre just so fucking cute, always with that infectious good mood. You see the shit these men do on the daily, and you still seem almost naive. No, not naive. Just hopeful. Thatâs rare, and Javi admires it.
You like them, as more than coworkers, as friends. Steve is a funny guy. You like him and his wife, Connie. Theyâre good company. You live next door to the Murphys, which puts you right near Javier too.
Javi, you two called him outside of work. He had a dry sense of humor, and was hard to pull away from the job. They both were. You were better at compartmentalizing than they were. He was handsome and flirtatious, but you figured heâd never like you. Too different of people.
The three of you shared details of your lives at work. Steve would talk about his adoptive daughterâs latest milestones, about his wife and his arguments. You and Javier didnât have much to share. Your heart twinged every time Steve mentioned another hookup Javier had had.
Something about him is magnetic. Javier makes you grin and giggle and shy away but come out of your shell at the same time. But of course, youâre coworkers and friends. Just friends. It would be impractical to think that you could be something more, if he even wanted to in the first place.
November rolls around in Colombia, and with it comes Javierâs birthday. November 8th, in a year he refused to tell you. Steve told you later. The Murphys and you are the only people aware of this. Javier doesnât like a fuss to be made over him. Of course, knowing you, a fuss is the only thing practical.
Itâs a Sunday when Javier turns a year older. Connie and Steve are doing something with their daughter, probably. Javier doesnât have friends besides you or Steve. That motivates you to go even grander.
You wake in the morning with a grin. November 8th. After taking your time waking, you find your way to the kitchen and begin the process. You lovingly fold the dry ingredients in a bowl, then add the wet ones. A beautiful looking cake batter forms, and you dare to lick the spoon once the cake is in the oven. Itâs good.
As it bakes, you hum to yourself and find your way to the phone. âMurphys,â a sweet voice rings out. Connie.
âHey lovely,â you say with a grin. âIs Steve home?â
âYeah, whatâs up? Please donât be calling for work,â she says, even though the tone of your voice indicates it isnât.
âOh, no. I guess youâd know: itâs Javiâs birthday. The two of them doing anything tonight?â
âI completely forgot,â Connie gasps. âBut no, not that Iâm aware of.â
âJust checking. Thanks, girl.â
âYeah, any time.â Connie hangs up right as the oven beeps that the cake is done.
-
A knock comes at Javierâs door in the evening. He opens it to find you with a beautifully iced cake, a bottle of whiskey, and a grin. âHappy birthday,â you say as you see him, and his neutral expression grows to a small smile.
âYou know I hate birthdays,â he chuckles lightly.
âThatâs too damn bad, because I love them. Do you have any plans for tonight?â You ask him.
Heâd been considering calling up one of his girls to fuck until he forgot his name or how old he was getting, but heâd much rather be with you. âNo,â he shakes his head.
âWanna share this cake and whiskey?â You ask, hope in your eyes as you lean forward a little.
Javier laughs.
âAre you sugar personified or something? Come on in,â he says and moves to allow you in. You set the cake and whiskey down on his counter and immediately head for a cupboard where you know he keep the plates. âThank you for this.â
âOf course. Itâs my best friendâs birthday, gotta treat him.â
âIâm your best friend?â He asks, somewhat in disbelief as you return with two plates, two forks, and two glasses of whiskey.
You shrug. âOf course you are. Who else would it be, Steve?â You snort as you sit at his table and he sits across from you.
âJust⊠no one back home?â
You give him an honest smile, your perky demeanor dropping. âNo, Javi. Youâre my best friend. I genuinely enjoy you as a person. Is that so hard to believe?â
âYes.â
You sigh and reach for your purse. âYouâre a piece of work, Peña,â you sigh as you stick a couple of candles into the cake. You donât smoke, but you carry a lighter for Javier and Steve, which you grab from your purse and use to light the candles. âOkay. Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you,â you sing softly to Javier, grinning and looking into his eyes.
He doesnât deserve you, he thinks to himself. Someone so beautiful and kind and yeah, beautiful, so stunning, and yet you never go on dates or hook up with anyone, even when itâs so easy. Why? He selfishly hopes it could be because of him.
âHappy birthday dear Javi⊠happy birthday to you.â He knows the drill. He blows out the candles and they go out easily. âWhat did you wish for?â You ask sweetly and quietly, slicing into the cake.
âCanât tell you.â It was you. He canât tell you that not because he fears it wonât come true, but because he fears what could come after it.
You sigh. âYouâre impossible,â you tease and scoop a slice, handing it over to him. He pops the bottle of whiskey open and pours a glass for each of you.
âYouâre the impossible one. All sunshine and rainbows in the middle of a fucking drug war.â
You shake your head as you scoop yourself a piece. âSomeone has to be. No one else was taking the job. You think I enjoy it? I get pissed sometimes too. I hide it.â
âYou, angry? Iâd like to see it,â he shakes his head and takes a bite.
Rolling your eyes, you take a bite of the cake too. âHiding my feelings for the good of others since the day I popped out of the womb.â
His face softens. âHey.â
You shake your head. âSorry to be depressing. Itâs your birthday, after all. How does it feel to be a year older, hm?â You ask, trying to put the facade up again. It only half works.
Javier sets down his fork. âHey, brillante.â Shiny. âI know you have more feelings in there. Tell me them.â
âSince when have you been one for emotions, Javier?â You ask dryly and raise an eyebrow.
He nods. âThatâs fair. But you can tell me anything. Iâm your best friend, right?â
Sighing, you look down at your plate. You donât want to admit that what youâre thinking about is how you donât want him to be your best friend, you want to love and adore him and be more. Lovers, partners, anything. âHey. Answer.â
The frustration gets you and you snap. âI care about you, Javier. I like you. I think about you a lot. As more than just a friend, really. And I shouldnât, because weâre coworkers and friends.â The words flow before you can stop yourself.
Heâs taken aback. He certainly didnât expect that. âOh.â
You bite your lip. âThatâs exactly why I held that in for so long. Because you responded like that. Itâs not your fault, either, so donât say that, that youâre sorry you donât feel the same, that-â
Javier stands and walks to your side of the table. He squats to your seated height. âLook at me.â
You do, albeit in a confused way. âYeah?â
âIâve wanted to do this for so long. Iâm about to do this for me and me alone, because I know you want to do it too.â
âWhat?â
He kisses you, cupping your face in his hands. He tastes like frosting and whiskey and cigarettes and oh god, itâs heavenly. His calloused fingertips against your cheeks, his warm and plush lips against your own. He means it, you can tell it. He breaks away, breathing heavily. âHey. My ray-of-fucking-sunshine. I want you, Iâve wanted you for a long time now. Since I first laid eyes on you.â He brings your face close to his. âNever hold it in again.â
You close the gap between the two of you, kissing him again. Hard. Passionately. You hold the back of his head with one hand, the other snaking around his shoulder. You stop for a second and stand, and he follows. âGoddamn, you really are sugar personified.â The gap closes between your lips, from mutual movement forward, into another needy kiss.
You throw your arms around him, making a soft noise of need into his lips. âJavi,â you shudder as his lips trail to your jaw and then to your neck.
âGot my birthday wish.â

well since you said we can keep going...
lazy morning sex with javi on this sinful sunday!
please I live for morning sex this shit is so hot
Because Javier always wakes up before you. It's a leftover habit from his days in Colombia when he would go to sleep at three in the morning and wake up at six to show up for work. These days, the only reason he's up that late is if he's fucking you into the mattress - but that's neither here nor there. Javier wakes up before you and just... watches.
He takes in the gentle rise and fall of your bare chest with your every breath, the first streams of sunlight illuminating your skin in a beautiful golden hue. It starts slowly, with his fingers dancing down your sternum and gravitating towards your breasts. Your nipples harden under his teasing touches and you shift slightly, making Javier pause. But of course, he keeps going a moment later.
He presses closer, content to just kiss and touch you until you wake up. His lips trail down over your neck to suck lightly at that sweet spot where your throat and shoulder meet while his hand trails even lower to dip between your legs. It's the low groan that escapes your lightly parted lips that tells him he's close to getting what he wants.
"You're insatiable." You say in that sleep-rough voice, a tease lilting your tone.
"Can't blame me when you're so irresistible." He teases right back as he pulls you underneath him and presses you into the bed. "C'mon... Can I fuck my little angel again?"
You answer in the form of a happy sigh and welcoming spread of your legs. Of course, Javier is gentle with you. He hasn't forgotten the way he manhandled you the previous night and overstimulated you until you begged him to stop - in fact, he won't forget it for the rest of his damn life. He pushes in slowly, muffling his broken groan in your shoulder, and he's content with the slow and steady rock of his hips.
Your fingers tangle in his hair, holding him tight against you by the back of his head, and your other hand slips between you to slowly rub your clit.
"That's it, play with that perfect pussy." He rumbles right into your ear before teasing your earlobe with his teeth. "God, you feel so fuckin' good."
He's quick to change the angle of his hips when he feels you growing closer, thrusting upward into that spot that has you seeing stars. Your heels dig into the back of his thighs as you rock up to meet his thrusts.
"My good girl... gonna cum for me?" You aren't the only one that's close - you can tell by the desperate quality his voice takes on. So you pull his face away from your neck by his hair and press your forehead to his, giving him those sweet little kisses that make him melt.
You cum together, at the same time, something that only happens in moments like these. The soft ones, the ones full of love and completely without distraction. It's just you and Javier and the rhythmic press of your bodies together.

My Best Decision
Pairing: Javier Peña x AFAB!Reader
Word Count: 3.5k
Warnings:Â Smut (18!!!+), Oral sex (fem receiving), Unprotected sex, Filth, Possible typos and bad usage of commas.
A/N: I have a whole ass universe to these two tucked away somewhere in my mind and this scene felt like it needed to be written so here we are. I havenât written anything substantial in years so pls be nice to me, thanks. You can also read it on AO3 here. Big thanks to @dirty-holy-thingsâ for being a general gem of a friend and proofreading this for me. Hope yâall enjoy!!!
Summary: Time to yourselves is something hard to come by for you and Javi. When his dad offers to take your little one for the night, you have a few things in mind on what you can fill the quiet with.
Texas was a different kind of hot, you quickly came to realize. Colombia had been sticky and humid, the feeling of your clothes sticking to your skin the absolute worst. Texas came with a dry heat compared to Colombia and it was a change that was welcome in your book.
Itâd been about two years now in Laredo and it always made you wonder when youâd stop comparing the two places. Itâs not like you lived in Colombia all that long, anyway; just the time it took to complete your Masterâs Degree and a few months after, staying behind with Javier until his assignment with the DEA was over. Javi had warned you of all the different things moving to Texas entailed when the decision had been made, even offering up a few other options- like Miami, where Steve had tried to entice the two of you to join him and Connie and their kids. But, Texas had felt right for some reason. Being close to Javierâs father and having that sense of family was something you craved and so, Laredo became home.
Once you had your first child, it just cemented that moving to Texas had been the right decision. Javi had been a mess in the delivery room, pacing constantly and offering to get you anything every 10 seconds. It wouldâve been funnier if you werenât in pain and almost screaming at him to fuck off. Your daughter was born screaming and crying into the world, Javiâs tears unstoppable as he cut the cord and passed her over to you, the gentle grip on her so tender and careful.Â
The sight of Chucho crying when heâd met your little girl at the hospital, whispering to her how spoiled she was going to be by her abuelo, was something youâd never forget and with Javi rolling his eyes behind his fatherâs back, you knew he was going to be just as bad as his father, if not worse, and he was. Tiny little Emilia AnaĂs Peña had the two men wrapped around her finger the second she yawned, her fists popping out of the blanket she was wrapped in, in search of a finger to hold on to.Â
Now, at just six months, your little girl was a handful and that was putting it lightly. She was crawling everywhere and yanking on anything she could get her hands on, and that included yours and Javiâs hair. A moment of peace was hard to come by, her cries loud and piercing if no one was paying attention to her. Javier was always the first one to give into her pleas, placating her wails with quiet songs sung under his breath and a soothing hand across her back. She was a daddyâs girl and you couldnât even find it in you to be upset about it, the sight always putting an instant smile on your face.Â
It was crazy to think there was a time where you believed something like this wasnât possible- the family, the house together, and anything really beyond a late night hook-up with Javier. Yet, here you were, and Emilia was the perfect blend of you two as you caught her dark eyes slowly drifting close on Javierâs shoulder.Â
âJavi?â You ask, shuffling the bills that cluttered your kitchen table into a neat pile and setting them aside to go through after dinner.
âYeah baby?â He slowly turns to glance at you, his hand spanning across your daughterâs back as he holds her to his chest. You could already see the drool mark on his salmon colored shirt and smile softly to yourself. It was still early, and any sleep she got was a blessing. 3am wake up calls were getting tiring and Javi was taking the brunt of them, letting you sleep.
âI was thinking,â you start, walking towards him to brush a fallen strand of hair across Emiliaâs forehead as she breathes in slowly. âMaybe Chucho could take Emilia tonight? He called earlier and mentioned I sounded tired, asked if we needed a break. I thought it would be nice to have a night to ourselves. Maybe actually catch up on sleep, watch a movie.â
You wouldâve been offended at Javierâs father calling you out, a quiet chuckle escaping you when he brought it up, but you knew he was right. Sleep was a myth at this point and it was only made worse now as Emilia was slowly starting to get her teeth in. You told him youâd let him know what Javier thought by lunch time, giving him a quiet thank you before youâd hung up.Â
The look on Javiâs face was one you knew well. It was his thinking face. Brows furrowed in thought, lips pursed. He was silently going over the pros and cons of being away from your daughter for the first time, his lips pursed. âItâs gonna have to happen at some point, right? I guess thatâs fine,â he finally acquiesces, hiking Emilia higher up on his chest while she snoozes. âCall my dad and let him know weâll be over in an hour. Iâve got a few things I need to finish up.â With a kiss to your forehead, he turns out of the kitchen and whispers quietly to Emilia that her âdaddy was going to miss her so muchâ.
You nod mostly to yourself as he leaves, watching as he heads through the house to no doubt hole himself up in the office with Emilia on his chest while he read over papers he needed to grade. There wasnât a task he did day-to-day where he didnât try to have Emilia with him. Heâd take her to class with him if you didnât physically remove her from his side in the mornings. Watching Javier hand her over to Chucho would be interesting and you smirk as you walk back to the kitchen to call your father-in-law, a little pep to your step as you thought about all the things you could do in the next 24 hours.
__
The handoff had been hilarious, your giggles quiet behind your hand as you watched your daughter reach for her grandfather with a giant smile on her face and paying no mind to Javiâs scowl. Emilia was just as smitten with her abuelo as she was with her father and she wasnât nearly as torn up about the goodbye as Javier was. Sheâd giggled and waved bye with the help of Chucho as youâd left and it almost looked like Javier wanted to cry. Heâd huffed once you were back in his truck and remained quiet on the short drive back to your house, your hand reaching for his in a comforting squeeze.Â
The house seemed strange, feeling almost empty, without Emiliaâs presence despite her toys being scattered throughout the living room. Some part of you felt guilty at your excitement to finally have a night without your daughter but, it was needed and youâd be damned if you didnât try to make the most of it. Locking the door behind you once Javier was sitting on the couch, you kicked your shoes off and sat down to curl yourself into his side, his arm wrapping around you tight.
âAre you gonna mope around until we pick her up tomorrow?â You tease him, reaching up to tilt Javierâs gaze towards your own.
A slow smile breaks across his features and he shakes his head, looking guilty. âNo. Iâm sorry,â he sighs, taking your hand from his chin to lace your fingers together. âItâs just weird and I know itâs something that weâll have to do but I just. Miss her.âÂ
âI know, Javi,â you nod, giving his hand a reassuring squeeze. âWhy donât we take a nap and then Iâll make us lunch and we can just bask in the quietness for a little bit, hm?â
âYeah, that sounds,â he yawns, making you chuckle. âGood. Yeah, a nap sounds good.â
As you push yourself up off the couch and stretch, Javiâs calloused fingers reach out and brush across the bare skin of your hip, your t-shirt raising with the stretch of your arms and the feeling of his hands on you sends a slight shiver up your spine. Itâd been far too long since the two of you managed to be intimate, your mind blanking on the last time it wasnât just hurried hands and covered mouths to muffle the moans and grunts from seeking a quick release before running off towards Emiliaâs cries.
Itâs like Javiâs tiredness is suddenly forgotten, the bareness of your skin a reminder that he hasnât touched you in so long. A smirk slides across his lips while his hand travels further up your shirt, squeezing along your side until his fingers skim across the underside of your left breast and this thumb seeks out the hardened peak of your nipple to pull between his nimble fingers.Â
âJavi,â his name is quiet on your lips and youâre not sure if he even heard it until you feel his hand engulf the entirety of your breast and he squeezes and kneads the sensitive flesh in answer.
âPlease.â
In a flash, Javier is pulling you down onto his lap where he still sits on the couch and youâre almost winded at the move as you sit on his strong thighs to steady yourself.
You hate that you want to stop this and move it to the bedroom where his back wonât hurt as bad, where you both can spread out and enjoy each other because the spontaneity of it all is sexy and a call back to your time in Colombia where you and Javi couldnât get enough of each other.Â
When you donât automatically start grinding down onto his lap, Javi glances up at you curiously, âWhatâs wrong, baby?
âTake me to bed?â
He gets it then with a quick nod and you know heâs thinking the same things you are and pulls you close to his chest as he moves off the couch and slides you back down to the ground. Taking your hand in his, he guides the two of you down the hallway towards your bedroom. Itâs almost comical, the eagerness of your steps, and he presses you against the wall just next to the door of the room once youâre inside.Â
âCanât believe I didnât think of this sooner when you suggested dropping off Emilia at my dadâs,â he breathes against your ear, hands falling to your hips and squeezing them tight.Â
You laugh against his ear, his mouth moving across your neck and his lips trailing across your collarbone to sponge heavy kisses on any bare skin he can find. âKinda figured it was an unspoken thing. Iâll be more blunt next time,â you grin, running a hand through his dark hair and tugging him away from your neck to lock your gaze with his. âFuck me, Javi. Iâve missed your cock, baby. Please.âÂ
His eyebrows raise in surprise at your bluntness but he wastes no time, pulling you away from the wall to back you up against the foot of your bed where you fall back, your hands reaching back to catch your fall. Biting your lip as you watch Javiâs chest heave, the tight pink shirt stretched across his chest, your legs instantly pressing together in search of some relief. Even just looking at him has you wet between your thighs and the movement isnât lost on him.Â
Javier is quick to undress, his clothes haphazardly tossed to the side, leaving him in only his boxers where his cock is straining against the seam in the middle. Seeing his clear arousal causes another wave of wetness to pool between your legs and you crook a finger, hoping to entice him to come closer. Kneeling on the bed, he brings you up with him to lay against the pillows and trails a finger down your thin t-shirt to where your leggings sit on your stomach, tracing along the waistband.Â
âTell me what you want, hermosa,â Javi asks you quietly, nose nudging against your cheek while his fingers dip just slightly under the fabric.Â
Normally you werenât so bold, but with how pent up you were there was no hesitation to your voice when you spoke up, turning to look him in the eye. âI want your mouth on my pussy, Javi. Then I want you to fuck me so hard I canât walk the next day.â His fingers still against your skin, the side of his mouth quirking up and he sat up suddenly, yanking down your shorts along with your underwear to leave you bare from the waist below.Â
âSo wet for me already, hm?â Javier spreads your legs wider, putting you on display for him and your body is shameless in the way it opens itself for his greedy eyes. Your hands slide up your tummy and under your shirt to grasp at your breasts, tugging on your nipples while you watch him watch you.Â
Rough hands smooth up your thighs as Javi moves to settle himself between your legs. Your eyes follow his movements, watching as he licks his lips once he pulls your pussy lips apart and sighs softly to himself. âMost beautiful pussy Iâve ever seen,â he makes sure to tell you before flicking your clit with his tongue.Â
Javi is relentless in the way he eats you out, mouth sloppy and slick after just a moment and when he looks up at you from his place between your thighs, you can see how debauched he already is. You blink quickly as Javi spits on your pussy, bringing a finger up to rub the wetness against your clit and you cry out. Your hands move from your chest to grip the comforter below you and you pant his name like a prayer once his two of his fingers slowly slide inside of you.Â
âItâs been so long, baby. Gonna have to stretch you out a bit before I slide my cock in you.â Javiâs voice is rough, scratchy and you bare down against his fingers once he starts a slow rhythm of fucking you. âYou always take me so well though. Like your pussy was made for me.âÂ
âWant your cock, Javi. Please,â you plead in reply, your left hand releasing the comforter from your grip and sliding it through his hair and tugging softly to get his attention, hoping he would look up and see the desperation on your face.Â
Javier pays you no mind. His fingers start fucking you in earnest, a third slipping in next to the other two thick digits and you can slowly feel your orgasm building. A slow simmer through your body, like a current that was waiting to crash. Your whines fill the room, along with the wet sound of his fingers fucking you. Once his thumb starts rubbing your clit in time with the thrust of his fingers, you feel like youâre about to tip over the edge.Â
âCome on baby, can feel you squeezing my fingers so fucking tight. Come on my fingers. Come.â
At the sound of his voice, something snaps inside of you and you cry out his name as wave after wave of pleasure wracks through your body. Your body pulses around his fingers, back taut as you ride his hand.Â
Javierâs voice is soft as he coaxes you through your release, âSuch a good girl. So good for me, arenât you?â Peppering kisses across your thighs and up your tummy, he slowly slides his fingers out of you and into his mouth to lick them clean.
The sight is obscene as you watch him, your body still pulsing from your release. A smug grin is painted across Javierâs face and you bring a hand through the damp hair on his forehead and push it out of his eyes. âGod that was good,â you laugh, scratching at his scalp.Â
âThanks for the glowing review, querida.â Javier kisses his way up your stomach, tugging at your shirt that had been bunched up under your arms to finally rid you of the last bit of material that was blocking your body from his.
You can taste yourself on his lips when they finally meet, his tongue sweeping across your bottom lip before kissing you slowly. The kiss is languid and soft, your hands grasping at Javierâs back to pull his chest to your own. Your hands wander down to his hips, tugging at the band of his boxers with a frustrated groan when you canât manage to pull them down all the way and you move away from his lips, âJavi, take them off. Fuck, please. I need to feel you.â
Javier pulls away just enough to tug down his boxers and kick them off before heâs descending back on to you, his cock hard and wet at the tip smearing across your thigh. Your hips move around as you try and line him up, a whine slipping past your lips, desperate. Itâd been too long since youâd been able to fully appreciate the heavy weight of him inside you and you were needy, body wanton and open for him.
âBaby, calm down. Iâve got you. Shhh,â he quiets you, a quick kiss to your lips.Â
Your eyes widen as you feel the tip of his cock running through the slit of your soaked pussy, the head catching on your clit and you cry out as he continues to tease you. The feeling is torture and you dig your nails into his back, a silent plea that you need more. Javier seems to get the message and presses into your cunt, the thickness of him splitting you open in the best way. Heâs wide and long, the perfect fit and once heâs bottomed out you feel pure euphoria at the pleasure it brings you.Â
âShit you feel so good, squeezing me so tight,â Javier grunts, his hips slowly starting a rhythm as he fucks into you. The slapping of skin fills the room, his cock slick with your arousal.
No one had ever felt as good as Javi did and he knew it, the smug bastard. You nod quickly, agreeing with him as you were at his mercy. âSo good, Javi. So good. Harder, please.â
Heâs quick to comply, his hips fucking into yours at a brutal pace. His hands pull your thighs up at an angle that makes your vision blurry, calves thrown around his shoulders and heâs relentless as he thrusts into you. You watch him lick at the pad of his thumb, the digit finding your wet clit quickly and he rubs in time with his thrusts.Â
A moan catches in your throat as your climax nears, head dug into the pillow beneath your head, legs going rigid against him and you tighten around his cock as you cum, Javiâs filthy words muttered low. âGod you feel so fucking good around me, squeezing me like this. Cum for me baby, fuck fuck fuck-,â and he finds his own release just behind your own, spilling hot and wet inside your cunt.Â
Your body feels boneless, the tips of your fingers numb as you drag them across Javiâs back as he breathes slow and hot against your neck trying to catch his breath. Feeling starts to return to your limbs, and you card your fingers through the sweaty curls at the back of Javiâs head. âYou still got it there Agent Peña,â you tease, tugging the short hairs up to get him to look at you.
The look on his face is pure annoyance and you give him your biggest shit-eating grin as he shakes his head and slowly pulls out of you with a groan before sliding next to you and tugging you into his side. âYouâre lucky I love you,â Javier grumbles, arm wrapped around you and fingertips trailing along your upper arm in a soothing motion.
âI love you too,â you sigh against this chest, tucked underneath his chin. âHow many more rounds do you think we can get in before we have to pick up Emilia tomorrow?â
Javi pauses before he answers and hums to himself, knowing heâs genuinely thinking about it putting a smile on your face. âGonna shoot for 5 but, Iâm an old man now so who knows huh?â He digs his fingers into your side, tickling you.Â
âShut up and go to sleep, Javi. Iâm tired.â You pat at his chest blindly as you yawn, kissing his chest once youâre more settled under the blankets.
He grumbles quietly to himself but is out like a light a few beats later, snoring softly in your ear, filling the silence of the unusually quiet house. Your hands trace carefully along his chest, mind already filling with other things you two can get up to before you pick up your daughter, wondering if you still had your toys stashed away somewhere.

warnings: longing, drunk Javier
*female reader x javier*
read part two here
The humidity of the summer heat was almost unbearable, the ceiling fans doing nothing to help the sweat beading on your brow, the sundress you had picked specially for tonight stuck uncomfortably to your skin. But you were glad you had picked it for this occasion and you smirked to yourself as you noticed the brown eyes tracing over your exposed skin.Â
Connie had managed to convince you to come out tonight with Steve and Javier, promising it to be a fun girls night but as soon as you arrived, she had made a beeline to her husband and whisked him away to the dance floor leaving you alone with none other than Javier Peña, your co-worker who could be an asshole sometimes and of course the man who you had somehow managed to develop feelings for.Â
He was one of the most annoying men you had ever met, and that was saying something when you had to deal with drug cartel members who had the attitude of a pig, but something about him irked you.
On your first day he had gotten you confused with the new secretary, asking for a coffee when you had entered his and Steveâs shared office and calling you âsweetheartâ. His partner had sniggered behind his cigarette, noting the way your eyes darkened slightly before you moved past him and to the vacant desk that had been squashed into the corner of the room.Â
Youâll never forget the satisfaction you felt when you glanced up from the growing pile of files only to see the DEA agent, mouth open and cigarette hanging loosely from it.Â
From that moment on, you had hated Javier Peña.Â
But somewhere along the lines, you had felt something other than anger and irritation, soon realising that you had a crush on him. It was fucking annoying. He was sleazy, going after anything that had tits and was capable of breathing. He had an unhealthy diet that consisted of smoking cigarettes whenever he could and drinking whisky almost every night. Â
He could be sweet, you had to give him that. Once, after a chase that involved you being knocked unconscious with a brick, he had come over to your apartment, a brown bag filled with baked goods (from the bakery you mentioned you liked once) under his arm and a âget-well-soonâ balloon in his fist. You would have laughed at the awkward look on his face as he handed you everything if it hadn't been for the tremendous amount of pain you were in.Â
The one thing that plagued your mind, however, was the amount of women he had fucked and left, their names and everything about them slipping from his mind as he trudged back to his own bed. He only seemed to remember the ones who were a good lay. And you weren't okay with that. If he couldn't commit to any of them, what would make him commit to you?
You had tried moving on, you really had, but with any man that had managed to ask you on a date was always compared to him. His moustache doesn't look the same as Javierâs, He doesn't look as good in a leather jacket as Javier. Heâs not as devoted to his job as Javier.Â
Heâs not Javier.Â
It fucking sucked. You couldn't seem to move on from this one guy, a guy who probably didn't give a fuck about you and only had to put up with you in order to catch one of the biggest drug lords of all time. All of your waking moments and all of your thoughts were filled with Javier Peña. And it made your heart ache that you probably didn't occupy his thoughts at all.Â
But you were getting ahead of yourself. This was your night out after all, one that was meant to get your mind off of these thoughts and be filled with dancing and drinking instead. Your gloominess was meant for later, when the rest of the world was quiet and you were in the comfort of your own bed. Alone.Â
Unlike the man next to you who was definitely not going to go home alone. You wouldn't be surprised if all of Colombia knew of the man who always managed to get a woman into his bed every day of the week. A woman was hanging off of him, the two locked in a passionate kiss, his hands exploring her curves while hers raked through his hair.
It was hard to watch as it always had been. After a few more moments of quick glances at the pair, you finished your drink and placed it on the bar, pushing off the surface before making your way over to where Connie and Steve were dancing. You didn't have to explain, she could see the sadness on your face.Quick hugs and comforting words were exchanged before you swiftly made your exit, intent on getting into bed and ignoring the rest of the world.Â
You hated Javier Peña. But you hated the fact that you loved him even more.Â
~~~
You swear you were going to kill whoever was knocking on your door at this time of the night. You had finally managed to fall asleep, the tears drying on your cheeks and hiccups in your throat disappearing as your eyes fell closed. It had been a rough night.Â
It took a moment for your brain to register the fact that the Javier Peña, the man you had been crying over for hours, stood in front of your door, eyes drooping as he stared at you, a lopsided grin forming on his face. The smell of alcohol was overpowering and it took everything in your willpower to not slam the door in his face.
"Cariño," he murmurs as he leans against the doorframe, eyes looking you up and down as he takes in the sight of you, arms crossed and a frown on your face. âYou left early.â
A sigh escapes your lips as you hesitate on your answer. He probably wouldn't remember this in the morning anyway. âYeah, well, you were busy and Steve and Connie were...being Steve and Connie.â Shrugging one shoulder, you attempt to hide the hurt evident on your face. âI was bored so I decided to go home.âÂ
âCould I come in?â
âOh shit, yeah of course,â you let him move past and watch amusedly as he stumbles his way past you and over to your couch, plopping down onto it and rubbing his hand across the smooth texture. âLet me just get you some water. Yâknow, I don't think I've ever seen you this drunk before.â
He hums loudly in agreement and watches as you place the glass in front of him. âSit with me.â
âI should really get back to sleep and you need to rest,â you say as you smile down at him. âYou're gonna have a really bad headache tomorrow.âÂ
âPlease.â
âI shouldn't Javier. Just...go to sleep, okay?â
The next few moments were a blur. You don't know how he managed to do it but Javier had grabbed ahold of your wrist, surprisingly gentle as if you were made out of glass, and leaned up at the same time as pulling you down. It was surprising to feel his soft lips against yours, the hair of his moustache tickling your upper lip, a contented hum escaping his mouth.Â
He nipped at your lower lip causing a surprised gasp to escape you, the sound immediately being swallowed by him, making a small smile spread across his face. His thumb rubbed back and forth, back and forth, back and forth across the skin of your wrist, goosebumps erupting at his soft touch.Â
âCariño.â
You slowly leaned deeper into the kiss, your heart beating rapidly as he pulled you closer to him. It made you smile, the way he sighed into the kiss, trying to get closer to you. The smell of him was overpowering, addictive, and you slowly realised that you never wanted to be apart from him. He smelled of cigarettes, cologne and whiskey.Â
You pull away abruptly, yanking your wrist out of his grasp as you take a step away from him. Tears blur your vision, your chest heaving at a rapid pace as you see him frown at you, immediately moving to get up, to go to you, to comfort you. Holding a hand out, you take another step away from him.Â
âYouâre drunk Javier. You don't know what you're doing.âÂ
âIâm sober enough to know that I want this, I want you.â
âPlease...just stop. You don't know what you're saying. You-you don't like me that way.â You rub at your head as a shaky breath leaves your lungs, tears burning your eyes. But you quickly wipe them away, licking your lips as you nod to yourself. âWe can just forget this happened. In the morning you'll forget this happened.â
You don't wait for him to say anything, your mind already made up as you move towards your bedroom, shutting the door softly behind you. You feel nothing and everything at the same time as you make your way to bed, turning off the lamp. Only then, in the comfort of the darkness, do you let the tears fall down your cheeks.
He watched silently as you left, knowing how stubborn you could be (especially with something like this) and how difficult it would be to convince you that he did have feelings for you. You were different, good, kind, innocent. He sat down on the couch again, head in his hands, feeling angry at himself, angry at the way he had fucked this up.Â
He really did want you.Â
We Can Stay Like This Forever
Word Count: 2,385 Warnings: Uh... yearning. A crumb of smut. Dialogue heavy bullshit tbh. Author's Note: God okay, I've been sitting on this for like a month now? I wrote this when I couldn't focus on my own characters anymore and my brain needed to visualize parts of the scene I was trying to write using the body language of a character I already know and love so well. This is written in second person but the reader has a name. It was an experiment dashed out in a drunken fervor that made my editor weep. Anyway, if you see any of these lines in a book one day... no you don't.
MASTERLIST
âJavi, I havenât loved you since I was twentââ
âThat's bullshit and you know it,â he interrupts, voice coming out hard but arms crossed tighter than they have been all night, replacing the pressure of kevlar heâs so used to. Protective, defensive, stopping the bullets from reaching him where it matters the most.
Your lips are raw from dragging your teeth across them but biting down is the only thing that stops the tears from springing to the surface. You never thought youâd see him again, you never thought heâd be standing in your kitchen only strides away; two for him, four for you. You saw the news coming out of Colombia, heard it in the supermarket passed from ear to ear straight from his dadâs mouth. Javier Peña was the walking dead.
Javi left Lorraine for you. You gave him a choice and he made it and you, being certain heâd lean the other way, couldnât live with that guilt. When you wrote that first letter, you didnât expect a response. You just wanted to apologize, you wanted him to know that you were sorry. You didnât expect to hear his voice on the other end weeks later when you picked up the phone. Hell, you had pushed the letter so far out of your mind that youâd forgotten youâd included your number.
And now heâs standing in front of you, tangible as ever. No longer just the boy you loved but a man aged so roughly by sun and stress that you are breaking within wishing that you had been there to smooth it all over.
âGoddamn it, Clara,â that hard tone reaches towards you again but he loosens his stance, the toned arms still holding close to his body but the tension bottoming out to his exhaustion, âare you going to say anything or are you going to just keep looking at me like Iâm a fucking ghost?â
âIs that not what you are?â Your voice is broken when you find it again, the tears really do come now. âA ghost from my past come back to haunt my bad decisions? Tell me I fucked up?â
âIs that what you think Iâm here for? Is that why you think I came to you first thing instead of my family?â He exhales a breath you didnât realize he was holding and drags a hand through his hair, pinning you in place with his eyes. âCan I smoke in here?â
âI thought you quit.â
âYeah well,â another exhale, the slightest hint of laughter on his lips, âI thought a lot of things Iâve been wrong about too.â
And god, those eyes. Simultaneously the warmest, softest brown but so black they look like blown out pupils. Like heâs the one whoâs been snorting the cocaine, not busting those that do. You donât even register the insult before nodding your head. Whatâs a little cigarette smoke when you run the risk of him walking out that door and not coming back?
But isnât that what you want? Isnât that the purpose of this conversation? Are you not being the same bitch you were all those years ago praying that heâll be the one to walk out on you this time? Bringing it back full circle to that decision you forced on him half a lifetime ago?
âYeah?â He doesnât sound sure and even though your eyes are anywhere but on his now, you havenât felt his leave you this whole time.
âYeah,â you whisper to your feet like theyâre the most interesting goddamn thing in the world.
After years of practice, heâs quick about it, you donât even realize heâs lit up until he lets go of that first puff and, with it, the entire room changes. Itâs not angry, itâs not hard, itâs⊠twenty years of heartache and longing compounding, neither party believing theyâre good enough for the other.
You look back at the tired man standing in front of you, âJavier, Iââ
âNo. No, let me talk,â he rubs his eyes with his free hand, drags it down his golden cheek and smirks. Another inhale and, âI didnât come here to tell you that you fucked up, youâve said it plenty. Weâve been talking for months, we fell back in stride like nothing ever happened, like I hadnât spent years pretending every woman I fucked was you because it was like youâd never left my side. Almost twenty-five hundred miles, Clara, I was a world away from you and when I came home at the end of the day the last six monthsâŠâ heâs the one biting his lip now, âI could call you no matter the time and the sound of your voice made me feel like a normal person. Like I still had a shot at this world beyond the bounty on my head.â
His exhaustion, his softness, is palpable now as he stops to suck in a breath like he hasnât taken one this whole time and thenâŠ
âIf you didnât love me, you wouldnât have written. If you didnât love me, you wouldâve hung up. If you didnât love me, you wouldnât answer the phone at one oâclock in the fucking morning to tell me to breathe through the anger and the sadness and the horror I witnessed. But if thatâs the story you want to stick with, Iâll go. I donât expect anything I justâŠâ his voice hitches, the cigarette long forgotten between his fingers, âI just wanted to see if your face still lights up when you laugh or if that had changed after two decades. It hasnât and itâs still both my favorite sight and sound in the world. Iâm sorry I didnât fight harder to watch it grow through the years.â
He looks to the right of him and throws the cigarette in the sink. Pushing off the counter with his other hand, he takes one step forward and fixes his eyes on yours again. âTell me Iâm wrong, Clara. Tell me you donât love me and I wonât ever darken your home agaââ
âI love you.â
And heâs on you. Just like that. Just one more step to close the distance and his body presses to yours. His large hands come up to cradle your jaw and his nose slots perfectly into place against yours and his lips touch down like a plane with faulty landing gear, crashing against yours all hot breath and stale tobacco and, oh god, the smell of him. Soap and sweat, the chemical make up of his scent flooding your senses to make you feel whole again when you didnât even know how much you missed it.
His hands are sliding down gently, wrapping around your waist and pulling you closer. With his strong arms lifting you away from the counter, you no longer need to support yourself against it and youâre grabbing for him, trying harder to wring the space from between you like a worn rag but nothing is left.
The feel of him is something new, however. Heâs not that scrawny kid who awkwardly held you to him, unsure of how his touches were affecting your body and pleasure. No, this Javier is different. Older, experienced, more tender than you remember him ever being, so sure of himself and just⊠thicker. Two shirt sizes up from the man you walked away from, his formerly wiry muscles are almost bubble wrapped in a way. What used to knot against you in hard planes of flesh and bone now give quietly against your touch as youâre pulling at the only thing that separates you now.
But suddenly, heâs breaking away. All heavy breaths and wildly flushed cheeks, his lips have left yours and the ache you numbed in his absence returns like a migraine after sleep. You need him and heâs gone again and youâre chasing his kiss with a whine as he replaces his lips with a thumb, cradling your face once more and shushing you, âCĂĄlmate, mi amor. EstĂĄ bien. Are we moving too fast right now?â
And you are breathless as you answer, âWe are not moving fast enough, Javier.â
âI just donât want you to think that this is all that I want. That you will wake to find an empty bed tomorrow.â
âIf I woke to find an empty bed tomorrow, thatâs exactly what Iâd deserve.â
Those eyebrows knit up in confusion, the lines that have made their home on his forehead making you simultaneously weak in their beauty as evidence of his life and sad in the tragedy that you werenât there to watch him earn them.
âClarita,â his tone is so soft, the endearment coming to him as naturally now as it did in the before, âIf itâs punishment you think you deserve then Iâm here to tell you that youâre wrong. I chose you, you didnât beg for it. I did that of my own accord. And when you chose to walk away because you felt guilty, I did beg you. Iâll own it, I begged and pined but you couldnât get out of your own head long enough to see that you were never the issue, you were the solution. You still are. I have searched for you in everybody Iâve ever met. So tell me,â his hands are wrapping around your arms now, âAre you ready to forgive yourself and find me in your bed tomorrow morning?â
âYes,â comes barely audible through parted lips as his find yours once more, knocking the breath from your chest as his hands slide down to your hips. He digs his fingers into the denim there and slowly starts to guide you through the home thatâs not his thinking, correctly, that the only door at the end of the hallway is the destination he really booked from BogotĂĄ.
And he is burning a hole through you, his entire being set on fire against you in the already blazing Texas heat. He is gentle as he pushes you down, climbing on top with one arm out to break both your falls. His shirt was abandoned somewhere in the kitchen, shoes kicked off in the hallway with your shorts not far behind. His belt buckle is riding against you as he rocks his hips down, forgetting the metal between you in his hunger for you to feel him.
He feels you wince, the whine swallowed between his lips but heâs pulling back like heâs electrocuted you. âWhatâs wrong?â
âNothing,â your hands are shaking as you take advantage of the space between, âjust take your pants off.â Â
He hits you with that crooked smile and meets your hands where theyâre still trembling at his hips and, god, heâs swift. He wastes no time kicking off his jeans and falling back into you, pressing back into you. You can feel him straining against his briefs but his patience is unmatched as he savors every taste of your mouth, every nip at the warm skin of your neck and chest. His hands are exploring the years that have marked your body as you mentally catalogue the scars that have taken over his.
Heâs pushed your shirt up as far as it will go without leaving you but when he finally does to lift it away, the separation is so quick that it feels like nothing. Heâs everywhere and youâre delirious, half thinking youâre imagining him moaning into you as he takes your hand in his to put it where he wants it.
You almost thinkâŠbut, no, thatâs not how that works. Your brain is fucking with you, unable to reconcile the man on top of you with the memory of the boy you loved once upon a time. But you swear, heâs bigger. He holds his breath as your hand slides between him and his waistband and heâs looking down at you like heâs never been touched at all. The sadness showcased across the softness of his face is made worse by the sheen of sweat and blush across his nose. Youâd almost believe it if you couldnât feel the heartbeat in his hardness, waiting for you to make the next move.
After two beats of aching silence, looking up into the galaxies he has the audacity to call eyes, your other hand moves to push at his waistband. If you thought he was urgent before, the graceful rush to join your efforts is gold medal worthy. Your senses are delayed, youâre not sure if the sound of fabric hitting the ground comes before or after heâs ripping at the only bit of fabric that separates you now.
âFuck,â he rests his forehead to yours, âI'll buy you another pair.â The confusion bubbles into laughter as you realize that, yes, he actually tore them from your body.
But the bubbling laughter in your throat squeezes into a tight gasp, the air punched from your lungs as he steadies himself against you. His long fingers are brushing your hair to the side as he leans down and whispers against your lips, âCan I?â
âPlease,â but your begging is lost in his response before the word has fully left your lips. He is grabbing in a way you havenât felt in years. Hungry, like he canât get enough, like itâs all he needs.
It is devastating, the build up. Heâs ripping through the deepest parts of you and youâre convinced, wholeheartedly, that the only truth youâve ever known rides on the waves of his name. His grip tightens, his teeth dragging down your jawline and warmth takes over as an earthquake shatters what little composure youâve kept.
He moans low in his throat once.
Twice.
Three times it dies out against your ear like itâs only meant for you. Like it was all only meant for you.
Heâs smiling as he softens, you can hear it in his voice as he slowly asks, âCan we just stay like this for a minute?â
You press your lips to that dimple, singular and lonely on the right side of his face; so far gone from a five oâclock shadow, youâd almost think heâs been forty all his life.
âJavier,â your fingers wind tighter through the sweat slick curls at the crown of his head, âwe can stay like this forever.â
Hey, I was wondering if i could request either javier peña or din djarin ship/x reader oneshot type thing? Mostly just (one of) them comforting reader who has really low confidence and doesn't believe they are good at anything. x x
Little Miss Perfect
Pairing: Javier Peña x Fem!Reader
Word Count:1.3kÂ
Warnings: language. Donât doubt your abilities lovesâyou are more than capable of doing anything you set your mind to.Â
A/N: thanks for the request Anon! Sorry for the long wait, these things just take a bit of time! Ah, how I missed writing for Javi. Did you know Javi was the first character that mustered up a following for me on here? Now, nearly 1000 followers later, here I am still writing for him. I felt this request would work best with him :)
âShit!âÂ
It was either the loud yell or the slamming of the telephone that caught Javiâs attention, he wasnât sure which had come first. At the desk across from him, Steve sat disengaged from your internal struggles that were beginning to bleed out into the small office you all shared and diagonal from him, you had your head being cradled by your hands in frustration.Â
Javier kicked Steveâs shin from under the desk and with an audible âow,â Steve gave Javier a look of disdain. The thumb pointed in your direction changed his demeanor from one of annoyance to one of concern.Â
âYou alright, L/n?â Steve set down the report he had been reading to focus his attention onto you, but you didnât look him in the eyes to answer, just mumbled a barely heard:Â
âNo.âÂ
He didnât push any further, but it had to have been something serious to have you react in a way that made Javier concerned. If there was anything to know about you, it was that everything you ever didâwhether it be work, play, or what not, you always put in 100% effort. When the reactions to your work were less than spectacular, a depression-like slump followed because it wasnât what you were hoping for. You strived to have your superiors and partners know that you were the best person for the job and when you failed on occasion, it stung like a sting from a hornet.Â
âNo... No, Iâm not alright. Iâm not fucking alright!â The burst came out of nowhere and startled the two men. It got even worse when you rose from the seat and practically ran out of the office with your jacket, the chair spinning rapidly in your wake.Â
âWhat the fuck was that about!?â Steve asked Javier with an exasperated gaze, but Javier didnât know the answer. He thought he could deduce the reaction to the problem, except he was never certain in his abilities to read your physical reactions. Neither man readied themselves to follow immediately. Though after a few minutes, it was Javier who made the effort to find you and get to the bottom of your obvious despair.Â
Not in the courtyard and not in the smoking room. There was no sign of you in the file room, printing room, with the CIA guys and gals, or with Noonan. Based on Noonanâs dismissal of Javier, Javi was sure the conversation that was had between the two of you is what made you so upset.Â
It wasnât until he got down to the bottom floor and into storage that he smelt the distinct smell of camel cigarettes filled his senses and he followed it down the dimly lit aisles of boxes filled with completed files. Down the one labeled G-J, you were sat against the rack with a few burnt cigarettes on the ground. Javierâs footsteps were not quiet, so you knew he was there when he turned down the aisle.Â
âCome to gloat for Carrillo? He fucked us all over.âÂ
âItâs not your fault we didnât catch him alive.â Javi told you and sat down across from you. One of his legs bent up towards his body and the other stretched out just enough where it rested itself on the other side of your foot. You handed the cigarette out to him which he gladly took from you.Â
âItâs always on my account. Noonan always thinks itâs my fault and I just canât convince anyone that Iâm good at this. Every time we get close to catching one of them, they die or go MIA or I donât know... fly off to Mars.âÂ
âMars? Shooting a little high there, donât you think?â The smirk on his face was welcoming but you were still angry at that fact that everything you did was never good enough for the DEA.Â
âWhy donât they get angry at you and Steve? Why is it always me?âÂ
âYou think youâre the only person who gets chewed out around here?â You shrugged at him but the foot that had been resting beside yours tapped it harshly. You looked at Javi with a helpless face.Â
âNoonan isnât a field agent. She doesnât understand why Carrillo made the call, but he shouldnât have. That was your member to catch.âÂ
âAnd itâs my fault that heâs dead!?âÂ
âI didnât say that.â Javier handed the cigarette back to you and you took a long, much needed drag before restarting the conversation.Â
âSorry. I donât mean to be ridiculous about it.âÂ
âYouâre not being ridiculous. Not many women would have the gall to even take up a field job here and let alone be good at it. Noonanâs position was handed to her... she doesnât know what weâre dealing with out there.âÂ
âBut it doesnât mean that she isnât right. Every time I got a lead something would happen to change the course. That isnât what they look for in agents so what is keeping me here? Optics?âÂ
Javier shook his head and furrowed his brows. Since the moment you stepped off the plane in Colombia, youâve been nothing but a valuable asset to their efforts in catching Escobar. Every piece of information that you provided was essential and that is why they had put you on Gustavo Gaviriaâs case in the first place. If it werenât for Carrillo, you would have had him in American handcuffs right now but operations werenât easy when five different departments of justice are fighting the same fight. You were a brilliant co-worker, a great person, and more than capable to be here working with him and Steve.Â
âDonât say that...you are one of the best agents we have.âÂ
âNot everyone thinks that way, Javi.âÂ
âWell I do, and I know Steve does too. Plus, the CIA guys and the girls that work in the office, they know how hard you work. AND! Iâve never seen a woman kick as much ass as you do when we go out on the field. Anyone who doubts a woman who has no qualms about holding a gun to your head should be terrified in their assumption.âÂ
You scoffed but it was enough to draw a little smile at the corner of your mouth so Javier knew he was getting somewhere. He was cracking the façade even if some of those thoughts would return from time to time. It wasnât often agents were praised for their good work, so he took the chance to do it for you in a moment of need.Â
âDo you remember the night we had to survey the bar where there was that shootout?â You nodded in remembrance and he continued with a story that you could have predicted.Â
âYou were the only one to think of-âÂ
âI know, I know.â you shrugged off the surging compliment of a good days work but Javier shook his head and laughed. It was a laugh of sheer lack of understanding as to why you wouldnât want to hear compliments.Â
âYou deserve to be recognized for your work. Noonan might not see it but we all do here. Here is where it matters and on the field and when you go home at night and see the positive impacts on the news. When this is all over and you return to the States, wherever you end up, those people are always going to remember you for the good deeds youâve done here.âÂ
âYouâre a good man, Javi. You know that right?âÂ
There was a shared, true smile between the two of you in that moment.Â
âI think some people would disagree but if you say so, then Iâll think it.âÂ
âIâll remember that mantra the next time I donât think I belong here.âÂ
With that, Javier helped pick up the burnt nubs of cigarettes from the floor and together you returned to the office where you would help make a difference and remember that the two people who matter most to your job thought of you as essential to the process. For that, you would be forever thankful for.Â
