Seon Yul x Soo Hyun sequel (Part 1)

(Dedicated to a good friend. A short novel for one of my favorite no labels but rich in chemistry duo, relationship and what if couple in Kdrama. If you are not a “shipper”, better not read this one. New characters are added and will be added. Please take note this is all in my interpretation of the story and the aftermath of the finale. Enjoy! PS. I will try to update this every week if schedule permits)

Part 1: We meet again

A cup of tea in his hand, staring at his window after a long day, exhausted from 2 surgeries he assisted on thr day, Seon Yul can’t stop thinking about Soo Hyun after seeing her in that book signing last week after 6 years. She was radiant as ever. Seeing her smile brought warmth to his heart. It was the 1st time they saw each othe. Though they keep in touch through texts and a simple hi and hello conversation over the years, it was just enough to say they have moved on but still kept a part of each other. He saw her on TV once in those years but that walk in the lane was the perfect time in his mind to see her, even if from afar. He was ready, from afar.

This is their way of healing, as both agreed upon. Away from each other and moving on with their own lives.

Smiling and about to finish his tea, he was a bit surprised, she still has the same number. 

Those 6 years, Seon Yul became a doctor, for now a general practitioner but in another 2 years, a surgeon, to be precise, a heart surgeon. He always has a big heart and it is very fitting for him to be one. He kept his friends but as usual, he is alone, not exactly lonely but still on his own. In those years, healing came so rocky that the guilt gave him nightmares for almost a year or 2 , and he accepted it as punishment, too, for his twisted revenge against Soo Hyun. He was blinded but he was also a child. That is why Soo Hyun never blamed him one bit. 

Soo Hyun is living with her mom far away from the city,  who sadly has aggressive dementia. She said it's a blessing in disguise for she can only remember the good things. Her ex-husband continues to be a famous and prominent figure in the broadcasting industry and is now the Vice President of operations of the company. He still does special investigative reports from time to time. They are still friends and put up brave, united front act before her Mom as still husband and wife, so as not to upset her.

She now works in an orphanage and spent her time mostly there aside from writing her books. She managed to take care of those 10 children under her name, helping also the victims of accidents with the proceeds from her published books. She owns the orphanage and has a capable management team, a small one. She wants to devote all of her time with kids and that is the only way she can heal. She, too, is healing but the tears never stop but at least now, it is not every time she sees a child and a mother. 

After the book signing, she too, can't help but wonder, was that really Seon Yul? She smiled and had a sense of relief that he was doing ok just like what she told him to say and do, if the time is right. She regrets a little they weren't able to talk more but she hoped they would still see each other again in the future.

Seon Yul now smiles and goes out more often. He enjoys being a doctor and saving lives. Yoo-ra, his pretty, outgoing laboratory partner in his 1st few years as an intern, became one of his closest friends along with his new best friend, Shi Joon who specializes in plastic surgery. 

Summer time came, “Wonderful Smiles Orphanage” encountered a problem. There were 3 out of the 10 kids who got sick. It was very common for summer time to bring diarrhea, and other respiratory diseases, and each one had to be hospitalized for almost 2 weeks. A very worried Soo Hyun and her little orphanage team decided to look for help. The next day, she was told, a team of young doctors and nurses will volunteer for a month to stay at her orphanage for a quick case study and do everyday check ups for the children. They just came from hospital ships as well. 

Seon Yul? Soo Hyun uttered. A look of disbelief

Seon Yul was shocked. He didn’t know she was working in an orphanage now, let alone own one. He stared at her , like he did during her book signing but this time, he has to move closer. 

With the eyes of his colleagues on him, slightly confused, Soo Hyun walked towards them and welcomed them with a big smile. She reached for a hand shake at Seon Yul’s, and said “It’s been awhile”... he accepted it and he replied, “Yes, a long time” with a smile. 

Summer Time sadness for 6 years but maybe this time, it won’t be. 

So, they meet again.

Charles has always left Edwin little notes slipped between the pages of his favorite books, in his science equipment, places he knows Edwin loves. Just silly things—post its that say “hi Edwin :)”. doodles of Edwin with his nose stuck in a book. reminders to stock up on wolfsbane. but.

Then, post canon, Edwin tentatively starts dating people. And it’s ridiculous, because Edwin’s right there, all the time, but Charles..misses him a bit. And his heads a mess, and he can’t sort out what the hell he’s feeling most of the time, and whenever he tries to say any of it out loud it comes out rubbish.

So. He writes down some of the shit he can’t say right, and because he’s a coward, hides them so he doesn’t have to see Edwin’s face when he reads them.

then Edwin starts writing back.

Neat lilac blue little envelopes appear in Charles coat pockets. In his bag. Once, in his shoe? Some nights, Edwin will clear his throat and mention something from a letter, offhand, like they’re just picking up conversation, and Charles can pretend they are. That they always have talked about the basement, the belt, the nameless fear that chokes him every time Edwin walks out the door with someone else on his arm.

Sometimes he can’t. The words get stuck in his throat. Edwin’s not mad, he’s maddeningly, stubbornly kind about it, which is worse.

Some nights they trade. A secret for a secret. Charles learns about the novels Edwin used to hide under his mattress, about all the lonely years before Charles got there. About Simon.

Meanwhile, Edwin is losing his mind, because Charles has accidentally stumbled onto what was a fucking courting ritual in his time. Love letters were something engaged couples treasured for years, kept and reread over and over. (Edwin does. keep them in a special box, will take one out and trace the words, tuck it in his breast pocket for courage).

Edwin would rather have to reattach a limb again than lose Charles trust, all the dark and beautiful things he shares with Edwin only. He knows—knows Charles doesn’t mean to make him fall more in love with him.

Ravager's cannon: It gives Isaac the ability to fire rapidly like a Ravager can, but with much more precision. It can also do charged-up shots for more heavy damage. This is the most noiseless ranged weapon from Isaac, allowing the charged shot to be used for sniping. Up to two coils can be equipped.

Stalker Blade Tail: The swiftest and lightest melee weapon from Isaac's arsenal. It's the best pick to fight against lightweight machines and stealth attacks. Its thin shape and ability to spin and move up and down (at an angle of about 120 degrees) can also be used for precision attacks (e.g., to take off machine components or stealth-stabbing humans).

Nora's stealth armor: The natural materials of this armor allow Isaac to camouflage better within the natural landscape. The lack of metal pieces also helps reduce noise while moving. This armor is resistant to shock and ice damage but weak against fire and corrosion damage. Up to three weaves can be equipped.

Thunderjaw’s Disk Launcher: Isaac can use the disks like a Thunderjaw can or launch them at a high speed. It’s not an easy weapon to use, as its recoil can destabilize Isaac if he’s in movement, and it has a very slow recharge, but it’s the heaviest damage dealer from the arsenal. Its firepower can make big explosions and great area damage. Up to two coils can be equipped.

Thunderjaw’s Tail: It is the second heaviest and slowest melee weapon Isaac has, but when used correctly, it can cause great damage to his targets, destroy some types of human constructions, stun machines, and even kill humans on the spot. Its shovel-like shape also allows Isaac to throw objects away (with very poor precision) or even yeet Aloy and Beta to help them reach places or to aid in some fight strategy.

Oseram's tank armor: Made of the best Oseram hard leather and steel, this armor greatly protects Isaac, making him much more resistant to various damage kinds. However, the materials weigh him and consequently slow him down, thus making him sink underwater, and he needs to use more energy for his leaps and high jumps. This armor is highly resistant to corrosion and fire damage but has some weak spots for ice and shock damage. Up to three weaves can be equipped.

Bellowback’ Snout: This weapon is an adapted version of the Bellowback’s ranged elemental weapon for Isaac. It gives him the ability to shoot fire or acid projectiles. It can also be used as a close-range defense weapon; hence, it can be used as a flamethrower or acid jet-like gun as well. Up to two coils can be equipped.

Stormbird’s Tail: Isaac can use this weapon like a Stormbird: an electric whip-like melee weapon, still keeping the shocking damage but in a much smaller range and potency. However, if not used cautiously, the whip can get stuck in places or be grabbed by bigger machines. This tail is also useful for Isaac to balance himself while climbing or walking in places such as metal columns in ruins. Isaac must have this tail equipped to be able to swim underwater correctly.

Carja’s speed armor: The sisters arranged the traditional Carja clothing adornments in a way that makes Isaac more aerodynamic, and the lightness of the materials also helps Isaac run faster, leap further, and jump higher than he normally could. Although pretty, the materials of this armor aren’t made for battle, leaving Isaac vulnerable to all kinds of damage - especially physical damage. Up to three weaves can be equipped.

Scorcher’s Mine Launcher: Aside from the normal mines a scorcher can use, this version of its weapon also has the option to use stick mines. Either version of ammos can be used on battle strategies of timed controlled explosions, as the mines won’t explode until they get hit. These mines have two versions: fire and electric explosions. Up to two coils can be equipped.

Frostclaw’s Front Paw: The closest Isaac will get to “grabby hands” so far. It’s the biggest physical damage dealer but the slowest melee weapon due to its heavy weight. Isaac can not just inflict heavy damage but also use the big hand to grab huge objects and machines way bigger than him. This weapon is so heavy that it may destabilize him during curves at high speed, compromise his balance while climbing, and increase the needed energy to sprint, jump, and leap.

Banuk Power Armor: The Sobecks learned with the Banuk crafting how to improve the energy flow and distribution on a machine. This armor increases Isaac's total stamina energy and reduces the needed charge to sprint, jump, or leap. The improved energy flow also helps increase the damage from Isaac’s melee and ranged weapons. However, the increase in the energy flow makes Isaac heat up way faster if not used correctly. Up to three weaves can be equipped.

 what lures people to you is your face. you have a really beautiful face, nice lips, your face or structure is really nice. you can be conventionally attractive, even if your features are maybe not conventional you're still conventionally attractive. because I'm getting your features wouldn't look good on other people and it's not because they're not good features they just look really good on you. so your  features are unique to your face. you could be mixed or look mixed and that's what draws people in, people might not know your ethnicity. if you take pictures in black and white that could draw people in maybe a specific pic you have. Your hair lures people in. also your style people think you dress really nice. you could wear a lot of black for some people but either way they like your style. the way you dance, the way you sway  draws people in. What lures people in is that they don't know what's going on in your brain. people want to know they want to find out like what do you think about. because on the outside you could be so beautiful and your face could always look poised or you come off that way but they know that it's something deeper. like you might be sitting there looking very angelic but they know that you're thinking about something so it's like what is pile two really thinking about. but you play it so well you have a really good Poker Face. you have good posture and pose very well. What lures people into you is that you have so many different sides to you. I feel like a lot of people have different sides of them but they don't express these because they're afraid of being judged or people being weirded out.  I think you're very open and expressive about that. so what lures people in is that there's a different version of you for every single person. it's like you got doubles of you that run different niches. like you have a stoner personality, a nerd, a hot head, a nurse, a race car driver. And a thing about it is it's very peaceful at the same time it's not overwhelming or crazy. if anything it gives Barbie. The number seven could be significant as well. you make a lot of money because of this?  a lot of money because you 'll have your hands in so many different pots you can do a lot of things and you don't mind trying either. so people think that these different versions of you make you a lot of money. so that's what lures people in. people definitely see you as the jackpot. Neptune in 2nd? if people know that you aren't the richest they probably still think you have a lot of money but if they know you aren't a millionaire billionaire they feel like you're rich in love/spirit so it doesn't matter. so it's like pile three could easily get somebody who would pay their bills or give them money because they have options. or people could feel like a lot of people give you money and because of that you really are super abundant. also if you post daily or you post weekly on social media that draws people in.Yeah you're really healing to people's inner child and that's what lures them in. it's like if they get a daily dose of you they'll be all right. You can also be a really good muse so people are lured  to you because they want to write about you, they want to write songs about you you're that person that gets a song writing about them. You inspire people to make music poetry love letters.

Whats alluring  about you is that you can be kind of scary sometimes, but it's so sexy!  it's like I don't know if I should be scared or turned on is what I heard. yeah you can be like the picture. one of those sexy villains that you low key root for because they're so fine like shego from kim possible. You could be drawn to another pile. yes like people are attracted to this dark side of you so that's alluring to them. What lures them in is some people will be okay with the third party because they don't even expect you to commit? I'm laughing cuz why do you being aggressive makes people fall even harder. yeah the only thing I can really compare to the best is shego. it's like yeah you're supposed to be rooting for Kim Possible but who didnt have a crush on shego. so it's like even if you weren't fair with the situation people still are okay with that. It lures them that sometimes you can be Domineering. it makes people want to give you money so you could lure in cash cows or pay pigs.But whats alluring about you is that people like that sometimes you can be the bad guy even if you're really not. Maybe you just stand up for what you believe in you don't take no mess. You give ride or die energy.

What lures people into you is your instagram!/social media Okay periodddd lol you could look younger, you could be younger that's what lures people in.  Not in a weird way but you just might be in your early to mid twenties for some people.  you could look like that or what lures ppl in is they don't know your age. your Instagram could be very aesthetically pleasing, like it could give venusian energy. so people can fall in love with you just off your instagram. yes like your Instagram doesn't give too much but doesn't give too little. it gives just enough. but your Instagram does make you look very attractive. this doesn't have to be IG it's going to be any social media that you have by the way. There could be a lot of fantasizing around your social media, so people can look at your pictures and fantasize about being with you. especially you selfies are very cute. The music you post lures people in. you can look expensive, you can smell expensive people assume you do. yeah your Instagram is so fire!!! wherever you post pictures it just comes together so well. if you have a picture that's black and white specifically they could like that. people could actually post like you or want to get  their Instagram feed to look like yours. People think you have really good sex that's what lures them in. not they getting horny off your pics lol. even if you only post a couple pictures or selfies they are all hitters people love them. I don't want to say this but people could think that you lady/men part that is very tight/big, they can think that because you might be on the younger side or they just think you don't have a lot of bodies. and like when I say young I mean an adult still!!!! but basically you have little mileage is what lures people in. you have so many people that like you and they got money too. people sitting up there imagining you to be there spouse, what it would be like to live in a house with you, to have kids with you. this could be Tiktok, Twitter, Instagram but whatever people can get a glimpse of your face or your personality. it lures people in. your face is really pretty when you have your eyes closed people really are drawn in by that. this could give people the clue of what your sex face looks like or you're resting face. Yeah you might have your eyes closed in one picture and people are like that's what pile five probably looks like while they moan or are asleep. ;) Your social media could make ppl feel like their watching a goddess
