Casting NNT characters in EPIC the Musical:)

(This is not canon in my odysseyxnnt au!!! I’m just going by voices and vibes lmao)

(Voices are based in the japanese dub, I haven’t watched the english one sorry)

First, who gives theater kid ✨ vibes mhm

The first two characters that come to mind are Gowther (OBV) and Deathpierce (have you seen that guy like-), and like at least two out of the four archangels give me the vibes too but I want this to be like a “if there’s a production in universe who would be casted” (even if that would be impossible).

So I think that even if they give me the vibes some of them wouldn’t participate.

Taking that into account… First

Then we have the characters that’d be “that guy who hasn’t done theater in their lives but lands the main character”:

-Howzer and Griamore (the straight guys that get casted because there aren’t enough male actors😂)

-Elizabeth (her japanese VA sings very good)

Now, I don’t think that demons or archangels would participate in this as most of the people casted would be humans, but I see fairies and giants participating.

So finally, who would I cast for who? (Including substitutes)

For the main three humans soldiers (originally wanted them to be the troublesome duo but I’m changing it)

Polites: Gilthunder (I imagine him to have a sweet singing voice so it matches). Substitute: Howzer

Eurylochus: originally I wanted to make him Ban, but maybe he’d get too excited in the fighting scene and would end up badly lol, the I thought of Slader to have someone very tall but his voice doesn’t fit, so I’m going to go with Griamore as he has also a deep voice. Substitute: Slader (he’d pull a Jonathan Bailey and act as the straightest guy on Earth in this) or Golgius

Odysseus: Meliodas (he’s the power of the protagonist, also because I think he’d make both a good aggressive voice and an emotional voice which is necessary to make a good Odysseus). Substitute: Howzer or Slader (both can make it pretty scary and emotional I think

Crew and suitors: the ensemble would be a bunch of holy knights and most of them don’t even sing, they are on stage to make it seem as if there’s a lot of people. But the main voices that you can hear in the choir are: Golgius, Dogedo, Twigo, Ruin and Marmas.

Polyphemus: I want him to be Dolores with a distortion effect in her voice (with magic). I imagine her just apologising after every rehearsal haha.

Zeus: again almost casting Ban as him but I think that Dreyfus would be best as he looks older and has a deep voice too. Substitute: Ban

Winions: I’d love if this part of the ensemble are fairies that were convinced by Helbram to participate in this (he’s not dead in this okay? I love him so much and I need him for this to work)

Hermes: talking about Helbram…Yeah, him. Substitute: Harlequin would have to step up and he is praying he doesn’t has to lol (they needed someone who could fly), also Gloxinia

Athena: I want Margaret to be her so much, I feel she would be a very good actress for her but her voice don’t match that much, but that’s because she always speaks so softly… Maybe she could be a good Penelope? Ok I’m leaving Athena and Penelope for the end because I think I have an idea.

Aeolus: Elaine or Elizabeth (I know Elizabeth would do a perfect Penelope as Mel is Odysseus but I don’t think she’d want such a spotlight), both would work so I’m making them taking turns haha.

Circe: Deldry yayyy. Substitute: Jillian

Tiresias: Howzer CAN sing. Substitute: Gowther (he can imitate any voice so the singing bit isn’t a problem to him, and I think he can pull off a very good dramatic act)

Poseidon: BAN WOULD BE THE PERFECT POSEIDON, especially with Mel as Ody. Substitute: Deathpierce

Apollo: Gloxinia. Substitute: Marmas

Hepheastus: I think this as a role for “an invited celebrity” such as Denzel.

Afrodite: wanted to make her Melascula but can’t so it’s for an “invited celeb”. Substitute: Eli:) as a fun gag

Ares: Twigo¿ no idea, I wanted to make him Galand but can’t, also for an “invited celeb”. Substitute: Meliodas as a fun gag:)

Telemachus: depending on the timeline ngl, either Pelliot or Tristan. Substitute: Simon (a grown ass man but that’s how theater works)

Antinous: Deathpierce, fire vocals need the guy who’s power is related to music heh. Substitute: Dogedo

Okay now finally Penelope, VERY hard. I think Athena and Penelope are going to have more than two actors depending on the telemachus and Odysseus and have the same substitute: Margaret, Elizabeth (kinda want to put Gelda and Merlin here ngl) and Veronica (going to throw the three princesses here because interpreting these two characters would make them have a good public image and may attract more people to watch the show. Substitute: Gowther (I’m putting him in a lot of places as a substitute because he’s the most versatile actor from here, as he can literally imitate ANYONE. Like I imagine him acting the most heartbreaking scenes like in the “would you fall in love with me again” song, crying and everything and after ending the scene just: 😭->😗)

Elizabeth runs through the forest, the Holy knights chasing after her.

"Seize her!" Allioni says "I can't let a member of the Eight Deadly sins escape, I gotta capture her. If I manage that, then I'll finally be made into an apprentice knight" A knight fly past them.

"What's going on?! What's happening?!" Allioni and the other small Holy Knight look behind them to see Hawk and Y/N chasing after them.

"The pig and the Wolf are attacking!"

"You're not getting away" Hawk shouts. Y/N barks. The two knock all the holy knights away except Allion. He comes to an opening,

"You leave me alone!" Allioni gets to the edge of a cliff and stops "Where's the girl?" Y/N continues to run and knocks Allioni off the cliff. He screams as he falls. Y/N poofs back into her human form.

"Nothing personal mister wannabe. But I've just earned twice the booze tonight"

"I don't know how I can ever thank you for saving me. Not just once, but two. Times" Elizabeth says. She is in a tree with Meliodas, who is groping her breast.

"Meli!" Y/N shouts, looking up at the "Stop touching the poor girl!"

"I'm telling you, lady, feel free to hunch off and punch him," Hawk says. Later, Elizabeth is standing near the cliff.

"So, why are you looking for the Eight Deadly Sins anyway?"

"I want to ask them to help me stop the holy knights "

"Are you serious?" Hawk asks "Why in the world would you wanna do that? The holy knights are the king's men. They're the knights who protect Liones? Real heroes"

"But...what if they were behind the plot to start a war in our country," Elizabeth says "The other day, except for the king himself, the entire royal family were arrested and is being held by the Holy Knights" Y/N and Meliodas look surprised.

"Does that mean the king isn't sick in bed?"

"That's just a cover story the Holy Knights are using," Elizabeth says "I don't know what they think they can accomplish by driving the nation to war. But now they're drafting the people of the kingdom. They're taking men to wherever they can take them. They're preparing for war everywhere you look. Soon, their reach will extend out here"

"That's not good," Hawk says.

"Yeah, tough break huh"

"You've got no empathy to have you," Hawk says.

"So, how does this tie in with the Eight Deadly Sins again?" Y/N asks.

"If there's even the slightest hope of preventing the holy knights from doing this" Elizabeth faces the others "I know they're the only ones who can"

"Just checking here. You're trying to find those guys even though you know what kind of people they are?"

"The Eight Deadly Sins. The vilest order of knights the kingdom ever produced. Made up of Eight vicious bloodthirsty criminals. Each one branded with the mark of a beast" Elizabeth explains "Ten years ago, when they were suspected of trying to overthrow the kingdom, the knights of the realm launched a full-force attack, scattering them to the four winds"

"Well, if you believe the rumors, they each died a long time ago"

"Such amazing people wouldn't possibly let themselves get killed!"

"But they are criminals, aren't they," Y/N says.

"The Holy Knights are the ones causing the suffering of the people right now!... Long ago, when I was small only 5 or six years old, my father would tell me stories about them. And that's when I learned, that they were the most powerful knights-" They are cut off by the ground shaking. Next thing they knew a large piece of the ground is cut and they fall. Elizabeth screams. Meliodas and Y/N stay calm and Hawk panics.

"Give me a break!"

"Oopsie, I forgot to ask them if they were the people in the report," A holy knight says, putting his sword back into its scabbard "Conclusion, three individuals of unknown origin, dead!" He turns around "What do you think men? Does that sound about right"

"B-But sir, Allioni is still under the cliff?"

"Well then, simply put four fatalities in the report"

"But you can't!"

"Sir Twigo. That's even too far for you"

"How about Eight fatalities instead"

"No, you don't need to do that. Forgive us!" Meliodas and Y/N then jump to the top of the cliff. Meliodas holding Elizabeth and Hawk, while Y/N drops Allioni "Look! Its Allioni!"

"You there! How dare you survive without my say so. I shall not be revising my death tally conclusion"

"Who asked you to anyway" Hawk shouts.

"Hey, are you awake?" Meliodas asks Elizabeth.

"O-Oh, yes"

"Okay, when I signal you, run into the forest. Got it?"

"All right, got it" Elizabeth gets out of Meliodas's hold.

"Tell me, which one of them do you believe to be a member of the Eight Deadly Sins. Neither one of them bears any resemblance to the wanted posters. Maybe the brown-haired girl because of her scar but-" He then sees Elizabeth's earing and his eyes widen. He walks towards them "Fate is smiling upon me today. The crest on that earing your wearing is from the royal family, which means you...conclusion, are Princess Elizabeth!" Her eyes widen. Hawk, Meliodas, and Y/N look to her.

"Hold on, you're a Princess?"

"Wait, are you, Princess Elizabeth, you're the third princess in the royal family!" Hawk says.

"An official decree has been issued from the capital to determine your whereabouts" He continues to walk closer "The order to capture you alive and in healthy condition. But if you lost your life in an unfortunate accident"

"Go now!" Meliodas shouts. Both Hawk and Elizabeth run.

"I must not let myself be captured! I can't afford to give up yet!"

"Conclusion!" He grabs his sword and swipes at the forest "Accidental death!" The whole forest is destroyed. Elizabeth opens her eyes to see Meliodas and Y/N above her.

"Hello!" Y/N says.

"You all right Hawk?" Meliodas asks, looking at him "You seem okay"

"Seriously! I'm shaped pork on a skewer" Hawk has a small twig in his back "Mom! Mommy!" He shouts, running past Twigo, crying.

"Pig? Well, no matter" Elizabeth closes her eyes in defeat and stands up.

"Elizabeth?" Y/N asks "Hey, what are you doing?" Elizabeth walks to Twigo

"There's no escape"

"Wait, hang on. You just said you couldn't afford to be caught or give up"

"Maybe if I surrender myself peacefully, he'll agree to take me back with him and your lives can be spared" Twigo takes out his sword and sends a slash to Elizabeth, only for Meliodas to tackle her away.

"Please, try to get away while you two still can!" Meliodas's left sleeve has been ripped off. Y/N, who walks over, looks down at Elizabeth.

"Think he wants to make sure neither of us gets out of here alive"

"Why" Elizabeth cries "I was so happy...when I met you two. I set out, searching for the Eight Deadly Sins all alone. It was hard, traveling by myself and I felt too scared" Twigo walks towards them "Walking around in that rusty armor, hoping nobody will recognize me" She cries more "But there wasn't anybody I could turn to for help. You two have shown such kindness, to someone you have never met before. I don't want to see you hurt. That's why I don't want to involve you in my problems anymore. Not when I don't even know your names. Meliodas and Y/N start remembering before smirking.

"Meliodas! If you really wanna know"

"And Y/N! Hello!" Elizabeth's eyes widen and she gasps.

"I don't believe it. You two can't be" They smile down at her "How can you? Your just?" Elizabeth looks to Meliodas's shoulder and Y/N's neck, where her collar has lifted to reveal her mark "Those symbols on your shoulder and neck there, some kind of beasts. Wait, that's a dragon! And a wolf!" Twigo is about to swing down on Meliodas and Y/N, only for it to push Twigo back and cut his cheek.

"How is this possible!" Meliodas and Y/N are standing, facing Twigo "My technique was flawless, I'm certain my blade struck them. But the one who felt the force of the blow, how could it have possibly been me! And what is that in your hand!" Meliodas has his sword out "A broken blade"

"Meliodas? Y/N? Is that who you are?"

"Wait a minute. Now your faces are beginning to look familiar. But if that is who you two truly are, how can you look the same you did?!"

"How kind of you to say," Y/N says. Both her and Meliodas get into a fighting position.

"All right, times up. Have you figured it out yet"

"No! It can't be" Twigo lifts his sword to bring down "And yet, you still dare to exist!" Y/N is in her wolf form and bites down on Twigo's sword, stopping the speed, and Meliodas counteracts with Twigo's "C-Conclusion. These are incomprehension, extraordinary powers. It's those of a legend!" Twigo then fly's up in the air, his armor breaking.

"Eight Deadly Sins. The Sin of Wrath" Meliodas says "The Dragon Sin, Meliodas!" Y/N poofs back into Human.

"The Sin of Death," Y/N says "The Wolf Sin, Y/N!"

THE SWORD OF A HOLY KNIGHT .ᐟ

SYNOPSIS : after defeating twigo, the two sins and their new companion head on their way to their next destination. princess elizabeth, ever curious, inquires just how bad of criminals the sins truly are, but as they reach the village of vanya it’s made clear that the holy knights are far more worse than the eight deadly sins.

CONTAINS . . . 1.9k ; abuse of power, heavy dialogue change, use of profanity, changes to the tavern uniform.

elizabeth’s surprise doesn’t fail to make you chuckle as you pull her onto her feet. “so, princess, how do you feel knowing that you’ve found your first two sins? pretty exciting, isn’t it?”

“as exciting as it can be having found two of the most wanted criminals in the entire realm,” meliodas quips, patting down his hair.

“is there ever going to be a time when you’re not giving me attitude?”

“no.”

sensing that the both of you were about to start bickering like children, the princess promptly cuts in. “can we get back to the situation at hand, please? i’m relieved to have found you both, but there’s still the issue of the six other deadly sins…”

“look, princess, about the other six... we have some business to discuss with them, so we started looking for them as well a little recently. we’ve been running the tavern for intel-gathering purposes to figure out where they might be,” you sigh, scratching your nape sheepishly.

her face falls, a look of disappointment crossing her soft features. “oh…”

“but, we normally get a lot of intel from the customers, so i hope you’ll be able to help us get the info we need.”

“w—wait does this mean...”

“that we want you to come with us? yeah. it’ll be a waste if you didn’t,” meliodas nonchalantly shoves his hands inside his pockets, craning his neck to look up at her. “you will come with us, won’t you?”

a surprised gasp leaves elizabeth, a tear of relief follows after. "yes, of course i will!!”

at her confirmation, the ground begins to rumble and a giant green pig descends from the sky. elizabeth notices the tavern is perched atop it. “so that’s why it’s called the boar’s hat?!”

“yup! pretty smart, huh? came up with it myself,” the blond puffs his chest out and you let out a small snort in amusement.

“i don’t think that’s the right word, but whatever makes you happy, mel..”

hawk then nudges down the ladder to you guys, smiling smugly. “how’s that for timing, ya pigs!?”

“the hell are you calling a pig, porky!? you, see this is why your mom’s always gonna be better. way to go, hawk’s mom!” meliodas jumps onto the ladder, climbing upwards.

“oh, screw you!”

you exchange an exasperated glance with the princess.

“are they always like this, lady y/n?”

“yes, unfortunately. you’ll get used to it…” you sigh getting onto the ladder and holding out a hand to her. “c’mon, let’s dip before those knights send reinforcements.”

“i never thought i’d see the day where the captain of the most feared order of knights argued with a talking pig of all things,” the princess deadpanned as she takes your hand and lets you help her up the side of hawk’s mom until you reach her backside where the tavern sits slightly tilted.

“well, that’s why there’s a first for everything, princess.”

“alright, let’s head off to the next town. full speed ahead out of here, hawk’s mom!”

as the giant pig takes off, elizabeth is left in a bit of a daze before a smile spreads across her lips, relishing in the way the wind softly blows past her. this whole thing feels like a fever dream and she’s half scared that she’ll wake up any time soon.

it doesn’t take long for her to notice the holy knights who gape in shock at the sight of you four making your escape on a huge green pig. deciding to grate on their nerves, she send a wave over to them with a wink. “better luck trying to kill me next time!”

you and meliodas chuckle at her antics, deciding to remain on the pig for a little while before heading back into the tavern with the princess in toe.

LIONES KINGDOM, THE CAPITAL CITY. ONE MONTH EARLIER.

“please, open the door! do not let us come in there and take you by force!”

“there’s nowhere left to run! it’s in your best interest to surrender now!”

a soft, weak groan is heard as loud bangs echo within the bedchamber of bartra liones, the former monarch of the kingdom of liones. by his side are two of his three daughters, his youngest and oldest.

“shh.. it’s alright, father…” elizabeth, knelt next to her father, wipes at his brow with a cloth while margaret looks to be growing more panicked by the second as the demands from the knights got increasingly aggressive and intense. with the way they were acting, it would seem as if the three are criminals rather than the royalty that oversees the country.

“elizabeth,” margaret turns back to her youngest sister, drawing the younger girl’s attention off their sickly father for just a moment. “you have to run away. now.”

“what? there’s no way in hell i’m leaving you and father behind!“

“listen to me, ellie! father and i will be fine, i’ll make sure of it, but i cannot guarantee your safety, that’s why you must flee.”

“but...”

“hurry! before the holy knights come...” margaret’s usual soft tone turns stern. “that is an order from your queen and your older sister.”

begrudgingly, the youngest royal kisses her sister and father goodbye before quickly making her way to a secret passage connecting from the bedchamber to the weaponry. she listens as the door is broken down and the argument that ensues between her sister and the holy knights as she and their father are arrested by the very people that had pledged loyalty to them.

the princess, although reluctant to abandon her family, escapes silently, navigating the dimly lit halls whilst muffling her cries as best as she could as she makes her escape from the liones castle.

elizabeth finds herself reminiscing the events that had sparked her impromptu journey to find the eight deadly sins and the hardships she’d had to face these past few months. she gazes out the window of her new room, a deep melancholy swirling in the pools of her blue eyes.

“hey, princess. i brought something for you to change into, since your clothes are kinda tattered,” meliodas knocked on the door before stepping inside and placing the tavern uniform on her nightstand. “take your time and come down when you’re ready. n/n and i will be waiting for you.”

meanwhile, you sit in the bar area, staring outside the window as you replay the day’s events. ‘we’re really getting back together. i can finally see everyone again,’ you think with a small smile, only snapping out of your thoughts as the sound of meliodas descending the creaky stairs is heard. he stares and shoots you a weird look.

“what the hell are you smiling about? we just got our cover blown. we need to devise a new plan.”

you roll your eyes and stick your tongue out at him and he responds with a childish gesture of his own. your silent bickering is interrupted when elizabeth comes down the stairs and you smile. “the uniform suits you very well, princess! if you need any adjustments or changes, let me know, okay? i’ll fix it right up!”

“looking good, princess!” hawk huffed in appreciation.

“yes, of course! thank you, lady y/n. thank you, hawk.” elizabeth smiles softly, admiring herself in the uniform.

it goes silent for a few moments and while you and meliodas seem unbothered, elizabeth finds herself feeling fidgety and desperate to fill the silence. “so, uh, you want me to collect rumours and info regarding the eight deadly sins while i wait tables. did i get that right?”

“info on the holy knights would be nice, too” meliodas chimes, taking a look outside the window.

silence falls over your group again for a minute, and the princess’ anxiousness doesn’t go unnoticed.

“is there something you wanted to ask, princess?”

“what..? oh, um.. yeah… if you don’t mind…”

“go right ahead. what would you like to know?”

“the eight deadly sins...” she pauses, debating her words carefully, “are you guys really the terrible criminals that the world says you are? if you are, what sort of crime did you commit? surely you didn’t actually kill grandmaster zaratras..?”

meliodas turns back to face you two, his arms crossed over his chest as he looks up in thought. “what sort of crime, huh? well, for starters, good old zara was already dead when we found him so we weren’t the ones responsible for that.”

“wait, what..?”

“yeah, his body was already cold when we got to him. must’ve been dead for a good while. the bloodstains at the scene were dried, too. whoever did it wanted to blame us and get us out of the picture and it worked. now, we’re fugitives on the run.”

“so you guys are innocent! i knew it! why don’t you just tell the public this and clear your names!?!”

“that wouldn’t go well, princess. each of the sins were already some form of a criminal to begin with. that’s why framing us made so much sense. if no one would believe us back then, why would they believe us even after ten years?” you cock a brow at her.

her expression falls. “damn it, you’re right…”

before anything else could be added to the conversation, the tavern begins to rock violently, signalling that you guys had arrived at your destination and that hawk’s mom had begun to settle into the ground. the sudden motion throws the princess off her feet, and meliodas is quick to grab hold of her, wrapping an arm around her stomach to prevent her from kissing the tavern’s floor.

“woah, careful, princess. wouldn’t want you getting concussed,” he grins as he helps her stand upright.

her face flushes in embarrassment. “thank you, sir meliodas..”

“no problem. and please, just call me meliodas, or mel if you want. i dont mind either way.”

he ushered her out of the boar hat as you and hawk follow behind and points over to the village in the distance. “that’s our next source of information, the village of vanya. c’mon, let’s head into town!”

you four set off on the trek to vanya, the atmosphere still a little tense from the earlier conversation which weighed heavy on the princess.

noticing this, meliodas begins to go on an informative rant about the tavern’s alcohol supply. “… and although we get our liquor from all over, vanya’s is special,” he goes on after passionately talking about all the suppliers of the alcohol within the tavern while you guys walk over the bridge that leads into the village. the princess looked pretty invested and was mentally taking notes since she would be working at the bar now.

“vanya’s ale is made from what’s touted as the finest water in all liones and the gruit that grows along the river. it has fans all over,” you add in, gesturing to the water… or what used to be the water.

you four peer into said river, frowning at it. the water had dried up and the plants at the riverbank were all clinging onto dear life, some already withered.

“maybe so, but that famous water of theirs has gone bone dry,” hawk snorts.

“the herbs along the bank are withered, too…” elizabeth points out. “do you think something managed to clog the waterway?”

“i highly doubt it. we were here about four weeks ago for a restock.. this looks to be an issue that’s been present during those four weeks due to the state of things,” meliodas crosses his arms.

“this is strange… we should head into town and ask around…”

you guys continue into the town, and come to notice how the people were crowded around the square; mostly the able bodied men and some women.

“look at all those people! i wonder what’s going on..” elizabeth looks at the villagers with keen interest.

“there’s something off here…”

“yo!” meliodas greets casually, walking forward. some people turn back to look at him, immediately recognizing you both.

“hey, it’s the owners’ of the boar hat. how’ve you two been?”

“we’ve been good. we’re here for another restock, but we noticed the water in the river’s gone dry. what’s up with that?”

the man sighs, a look of defeat crossing his face. “sorry, but we won’t be able to get the ale to you guys. right now, we’re trying to pull out a sword that a holy knight jabbed into the ground…”

you three exchange a shocked look. “wait a minute. did you say a holy knight stuck his sword in the ground? why would he do something like that?”

“unfortunately, not too long ago, we incurred the wrath of this holy knight.” a strained voice says from beside you. looking down, you see the town’s chief. a short, old man who was quite the sweetheart and was beloved by all. both the villagers and those who came by for business or to pass through.

“he infused the sword with mana and sealed off all the groundwater sources under the village.”

a frown settles on your features as you look over at the sword. ‘this magical power... something about it is familiar, but at the same time, it’s not… it’s definitely similar to.. his.. but not nearly as powerful. where have i felt this power before? i can’t seem to put my finger on it..’ you think.

the villagers, clearly restless about their situation, begin to express their worry about how they would not only lose their water but also their gruit which would be terrible for their ale making business, and overall for their wellbeing.

“I can’t believe this… i knew the knights had grown corrupt, but to do something so harmful to this degree? can they even call themself a holy knight?” elizabeth clenched her fists, a look of anger settling over her features. there’s an intensity in her eyes and a hint of protectiveness as well. it’s clear that she takes the happiness and healthiness of the people of the country seriously.

“is it that wacko you guys just fought? vanya isn’t that far off from that other town..” hawk asked, huffing through his nose.

“you mean mean that ‘twigo’ guy? you couldn’t be further off,” you shake your head.

“huh..?”

“he’s no holy knight, he’s far too weak. and if he is, then it means the holy knights of liones have fallen to a disgrace. actual holy knights would’ve posed more of a threat to us. the real ones are way worse than him.”

I haven't read it in years and I've never read the last couple chapters so I could remember some details wrong, but it has Ludwig being mind broken and turned into a personal puppet by Ivan. I don't remember if it was particularly sexual (though they did kiss and it was implied at the very least that they ended up having sex), but it's very intense on the mind breaking part so if you're interested in that and have never read it you should check it out, you might like it! :) ♥️

The fic is phenomenal btw one of my fave Hetalia fics I’ve read in a while after the absolute insanity I’ve went through trying to finish his “Zachem Ya” fic primarily cuz this shit actually hurts me to continue reading and my eyes haven’t recovered from being dehydrated yet

Whenever I rewatch source, 7ds especially, it's always odd not seeing myself there. Those first few episodes are okay, cause I wasn't there, y'know? I had no idea where Ellie was, and did my best to track down any lead towards where the Sins were without anyone realizing who I was. Not only did citizens not trust Holy Knights anymore, but I was pretty much being hunted by people who'd rather me dead than alive. (Looking at you, Twigo).

But getting to that point where Gilthunder was about to fight with Meliodas, and have me not show up? It's always really weird.. Like. That's a core memory for me- it was the first time I had seen any of the sins since I was a child, and it was the first time I had ever fought Gil for real. The mix of accomplishment and the feeling of utter betrayal was such a weird experience.

It was also the first time I'd seen Ellie in what felt like forever... Hawk thought I was a hide-and-seek, funnily enough, but when I got off the ground.. There she was. My best friend, my closest comrade.

And for that moment, among many others, not be there when I watch source? Its... It's hard, honestly. Am I the only one who remembers those special moments? Am I the only one left who remembers my own existence?
