Ok this is insane

PSA to all my epileptic/seizure prone/photophobia Star Wars fans on tumblr mobile

There is a SHITTY ad on mobile that starts out like this

And it’s flashes lights and it’s scrolls on for FUCkInG EVER. It’s takes way to long to get to the bottom of the ad to safety and there’s no way to report it or tell tumblr you don’t want to see it any more.

I’ve tried to tell them about it but I don’t know if it worked.

So if you see this, hit the back button immediately!

Hey I just saw a paid ad on tumblr while scrolling for Lucy and Yak 90% off. It sends you to https://servivity.com/ with a pretty good fake website. If you click on an ad and the url is not the same as the offical website do some digging! For me I clocked it because the prices were unrealistic(and no size chart on the pages) and went to the offical website and sorted all items by lowest to highest price and nothing came close. Then i googled the url and found scam reports. This is a credit card fishing website. It sucks that its being promoted by platforms giving it the veneer of authenticity. I reported the ad for being malicious but theres probably more. Stay safe out there.

Just remember to double check before giving payment info even if it seems legit. Countdown timers are to create the illusion of scarcity and override your hesistancy. Take a breath, triple check.

That link came from specifically this tumblr video ad. Notice how it isn't even sponsored by a relevant figure.

Lol I just flagged it for malicious and now I'm getting it even more often.
