We are inviting you to play an epic adventure with the elegance of the instructions from everybody's favorite furniture store!

This tabletop role-playing game takes a minimalist approach, offering an immersive experience without the complexity. Forget thick rulebooks and intricate character sheets – FÄNG is as easy to grasp as connecting the dots in an instruction manual.

You can choose from character options of Alv, Dvärg, Krigsman, Tomte and Trollkarl. (Elf, Dwarf, Warrior, Gnome & Wizard) Each character option providing some unique benefits in the game. 

Each character also receives a heirloom and curse to help round out their back story and make the game play a little more exciting!

Attributes of Will, Tinker, Agile and Tuff ranging from 2-4 that are the base pool of white Action Dice as well as any extra dice added from character benefits

Top two Action Dice are totalled to beat a Difficulty score on a scale of 12

Jinx is a tie, and there is success with a complication

Use Luck Dice to improve failed Action Rolls

Difficulty Scale

<6 - Don't bother rolling... characters just do it! 6 - Pretty easy, you had better be able to do it 7 - Expected outcome, unless you mess up 8 - Pretty hard task, but not surprising that you did it 9 - Damn hard, but with all your concentration, you can do it 10 - Very difficult, to the point that pulling it off is surprising 11 - Almost Impossible... don’t kill yourself in the process 12 - Impossible... best you can hope for is a Jinx

The "DOOM STACK" for Tactile Game Play

Character damage and trauma is tracked with black Doom Dice which you stack on the table - or track on character sheet if you are on a wobbly table, camping, or just think it's too gimmicky (it's fun though... you should try it!)

Difference between the Action Roll and Monster Difficulty is Doom to the loser

If your Doom Stack tumbles during battle, the character is unconscious, or you trigger a trap if you accidentally knock them over while getting a snack!

Risk using Doom Dice to help Action Rolls but then add them to your Doom Stack

* Dice are not included as part of the game, but hopefully you have some extra lying around, or can find some at your Friendly Local Game Store. It's not necessary to have different colors of dice (white, black and a third color for luck), but it makes game play a bit more clear! Dice with dots tend to work better than numbers, for quickly determining success.

* The base game mechanics were inspired by the d6 system first developed for Ghostbusters RPG by Sandy Petersen, Lynn Willis & Greg Stafford, which has been foundational for dice pool mechanics across many TTRPGs

Each adventure is minimal game prep from random d66 tables that provides the dungeon rooms and its contents. It's so easy that you can probably even run it without a Doomsayer (Game Master).

In true ZineQuest fashion, you will receive a 36-page saddle-stitched landscape digest-sized zine (5.5"H x 8.5"W), with black and white interior pages and heavyweight card-stock color cover and inside cover pages.

This format was chosen to lie flat and be accessible while you roll on the d66 tables. It has the bonus of looking like an instruction manual!

STUDIO CITY, CA – April 24, 2023 – Shaken by a strange encounter at the Frontier BBQ, Missy (Tiera Skovbye, “Riverdale”) wonders if she ever really knew the men in her life in “Your Cheatin’ Heart” this week’s all-new episode of “Ride” premiering Sunday, April 30 (9 p.m. ET/PT), on Hallmark Channel. Nancy Travis (“Last Man Standing”), Skovbye, Beau Mirchoff ("Good Trouble”), Sara Garcia (“The Flash”), Jake Foy (“Designated Survivor”) and Tyler Jacob Moore (“Shameless”) star.

Isabel (Travis) and Mayor Hank (Greg Lawson, “Wynonna Earp”) are ready to secure funding for their new business venture. They turn to Gus (Moore) for help and get a glimpse of the wealthy family he is trying to distance himself from. As Tuff (Foy) contemplates his evolving relationship with Julian, (Vasilios Filippakis, “Hudson & Rex”), he asks for advice from Valeria (Garcia), who is dealing with a romantic quandary of her own. Missy’s encounter with a strangely familiar woman (Holly Deveaux, “12 Monkeys”) at the Frontier BBQ has left her with doubts about how well she knew her late husband. She tries to arrange a meeting in hopes of getting to the truth, but things do not go quite as planned. When Gus apologizes to Missy for coming to blows with Cash (Mirchoff), she realizes that Cash kept it from her. To get her mind off the McMurray men and their secrets, she approaches Valeria with an idea that could make life on the ranch better for both of them. But Missy’s happiness could be short-lived when she learns some distressing news that could change everything for the McMurrays.

After an hour, some left to go rest their emotions. Greg went over to Tenshi. He draped his coat over her.

She glanced over, "let's go inside. This is effecting you too much," she looked back to the flames.

It took her a long minute to respond, "are you sure?"

"Tackle, you've been through enough today. Taking some time to rest will help you process everything," Greg explained.

Tenshi took another minute to respond, "okay."

Greg didn't let his thoughts show through his rough n' tumble exterior. His concerns where more on who he's being reminded of than anything else. The way Tenshi was acting wasn't anything good. She'd bawl when it came to those died and dying. She wasn't so out of the moment like right now. He hoped this wasn't what he's assuming. If it is, she'd have a tuff road to recovery if she's able to make it through all this. Greg was sure she'll pull through even if doubt hung out of the black clouds above.

Greg lead Tenshi back inside using his hand in-between her shoulder blades. With everything ready to make the trip under the group where resting up. Greg didn't get on to them. They're suffering from loss just like everyone else. He wouldn't take that away from them as that's what he had left as well.

"You hungry?"

"No, I'll be fine for now. I also have a feeding tube so I'll be still getting something in."

"When you are let me know. I'll find you something."

Tenshi nods. The place is less cramped. She didn't know to be happy or sad. She was blank. Blanker than a sheet of paper at the moment.

The girls followed shortly after, with the former keeping the latter close. Death never got easier, not after a million incidents.

Melantha rubbed the bridge of her nose, trying to shake away the mental image of bodies becoming nothing but ashes.

Haruka whimpered as they headed inside. She’d started crying at some point during the cremation. Maybe attending the funeral for all the lives lost hadn’t been the best idea for her.

“Shhh, shhh.” Melantha patted her back. “It’s okay… It’s over.” Shot. She should’ve brought her inside sooner.

“Melly…?”

“Yeah?”

She glanced up at her with big teary eyes. “How do people do it?”

“Do what?” She asked gently.

Trying to breathe deeply, she stopped in the hallway. “How do people get used to seeing dead bodies so often? Lawyers, detectives, police officers — how can they handle seeing that kind of thing every day?”

“Some people have more resolve than others to look at corpses and not get traumatized by it. Way more resolve than we could ever have.”

“Like Daddy,” she mused. Rin Hagoromo had always been the kind of man to endure whatever images he needed to see in order to prepare himself in court.

With a snicker, Melantha patted her head. “Yeah. Like your daddy.”

STUDIO CITY, CA – April 17, 2023 – Dark skies are headed for the McMurrays, in more ways than one, in “When it Rains...” this week’s all-new episode of “Ride” premiering Sunday, April 23 (9 p.m. ET/PT), on Hallmark Channel. Nancy Travis (“Last Man Standing”), Tiera Skovbye (“Riverdale”), Beau Mirchoff (“Good Trouble”), Sara Garcia (“The Flash”), Jake Foy (“Designated Survivor”) and Tyler Jacob Moore (“Shameless”) star.

Missy (Skovbye) brings Cash (Mirchoff) as her plus-one to the Frontier BBQ, but he feels out of place when his biggest competition, Hudson Cooper (Orin McCusker, “Wynonna Earp”), shows up too. As she coaches Cash on making a good impression, Missy is haunted by memories of Austin (Marcus Rosner, “The Love Club”) and is caught off guard by a strangely familiar woman (Holly Deveaux, “12 Monkeys”). At the ranch, Hank (Greg Lawson, “Heartland”) surprises Isabel with some exciting news, but she doesn’t take it as well as he hopes. When the McMurrays get word that a big rainstorm has shifted and is expected to hit the ranch by nightfall, everyone works together to save all of the hay bales but have no hope of succeeding with just one working tractor. Valeria (Garcia) must put aside her differences with Tuff (Foy) to try and revive one of Dusty’s broken, old rigs. The task seems impossible, and so the pair considers an offer of help from an unlikely source. When Missy and Cash return, tensions from the day’s events create a perfect storm.
