Being the Secretary for T, T, & T Hero Agency
Tumblr media
You had only been working at the combined agency of Tsukuyomi, Tentacole, and Tail-Man for nearly a month at this point and being one of their only employees apart from themselves, you definitely had your work cut out for you.
All three of them had their quirks, but thankfully, you were beginning to figure them out. For example, they all liked to have coffee when the got into the office, and expected you to have it ready when they arrived.
Tail-Man took his coffee blonde with extra hazelnut creamer. Tentacole took his mostly plain, with milk and a bit of sugar. And lastly, Tsukuyomi took his entirely black, and in large quantities.
-----
"Good Morning, Miss (L/N)," Tail-Man would greet, always coming through the door first. "How are you this morning?"
"I'm good, sir, thank you!" you'd respond with a kind smile. "Your coffee is read on your desk and there's muffins in the break room." You'd nod as he thanked you. "Oh, and I set your mail on your desk beside your mug! You've got some fan mail to answer, and you have a meeting with the owner of a local junior league dojo at ten. They'd like you to visit their class later this week!"
"Thanks for the heads up," he'd grin waving sheepishly, headin'g to his office "Go ahead and send 'em in when they get here."
"Yes, sir!"
Nearly every single day, when Tail-Man would leave you to go to his office, Tentacole would stride in, quiet, but typically in a rather cheerful mood.
"Good morning, sir," You'd smile, watching him wave back.
"Any appointments today?" he'd ask, stopping by your desk on his way in.
"None for you today, but you all have a meeting tomorrow morning with the Hero's Association." You'd answer, handing him a stack of envelopes. "Here's your mail for today. You're starting to gain popularity, it seems. Lots of fanmail today."
He'd always simply wave off your flattery, quickly changing the subject. "Coffee?" He'd ask sheepishly.
"On your desk, muffins in the break room."
He'd give you a warm, yet concealed smile. "You're the best,"
"I know."
At that time, Tsukuyomi would enter, moody and dramatic as always. He didn't tend to stop in to talk with you, normally nodding in passing but today was different for some reason. He walked right up to you, looking down on your sternly.
"Cancel my appointments, hold my calls." He commanded firmly. "Please." It was almost as if the last bit was obligatory, something he'd forgotten he had to say.
You simply nodded. "Done, everything's on your desk, muffins in the breakroom." You said with a calm smile, knowing he liked interactions short and sweet. "Have a good day, sir."
The way you addressed him made his feathers puff up and he eyed you as a hawk would a mouse. "See me later, my office."
His tone was demanding and made you worry you might be in trouble. For what, you weren't sure. The other two heroes seemed to adore you as their secretary, surely Tsukuyomi couldn't make the decision to fire you alone...
Could he?

PEACE AND BLESSINGS TO YOU, MY LOVE! <3
Tumblr media
“IDIOT idiotic idiot! How is he the god of the sea and storms?” Tsukuyomi roamed around the bedroom in a hissy fit as you read. The words would have jumbled in your brain if you weren't used to his angry tantrums, which didn't happen too often but left a mark on you in the centuries you spent together.
Your sight went to the curved marble of your windows, which reflected the bright moon and stars in the blue sky of night.
Amaterasu must have been pleased with the visit through the brighter glow of the moon, while Tsukuyomi’s disturbance aggravated the extra glow to the large stone, and your wonderful children in the sky shared your amusement, twinkling brightly alongside their companions.
“How dare he pursue a former human! They are such filthy beings! They grovel in the dirt below us, and he chose to love her? He could have done much better!” The rattling of his necklace brought you out of your read, to which you shook your head and then sighed.
“Are you going to be upset for much longer? Susano'o’s made his choice on who to be with. It’s nighttime. We should leave this for the next day.” Said you, then placed the book on the drawer beside you, mused.
“Why are you smiling? Does it amuse you that I’m upset?” Tsukuyomi looked at you, visibly upset and his hair in a slight mess from him clutching it. “It's a bit amusing to see you worked up.” You answered with a hum, patting the blanket beside you. “Get into bed, my love. It wouldn’t do you any good to stress.”
“Ugh, we even brought ourselves out of our way to depart from Takamagahara just to visit him.” Your husband whined as he settled beside you, wrapping an arm around your waist as he nested his head on your shoulder.
“I understand. Out of all the surprising things he's done in a while, this exceeds them.” You sighed. “At least she earned the title of demigod. It shows that she's remarkable.”
“I don't care. It's disgraceful for a god to be considered one with man; much more be involved with one.”
Tsukuyomi traced idle lines on the curves of the star marks trailed on your arms. “She noticed the birth of this star. A new one.” He whispered lovingly towards the particular mark, proud.
“Sora seems to have an adoration for them. She complimented my crafts when they stopped by my studio.” You said cheerfully. “She was eager throughout the visit, asking me questions about the stars and the process of forming them. She even noticed the Ronero star on the wall, which many don't pay attention to.”
“You’re tolerating her because of the stars? She really has you fooled.” Tsukuyomi quizzed, rolling his eyes at your glare. You huffed. “Sora does not have me fooled. I just think it'd do Susano'o good to have someone who notices the intricate details.”
“You’re supporting their relationship?” You were baffled at that. “No, I don’t find it appropriate to do so. He did introduce her to us today, my Love."
“However, I believe we should give Sora a chance. From my observation in Takamagahara, they both care for one another. The dinner we had today provided me with a raw perspective as well. Susano’o gazes at her with nothing but adoration.” You sighed, closing your eyes in fustration. “We’re not in a position to prevent them from being with one another. Maybe we’ll grow towards the idea later.”
“Why did he have to make such foolish decisions?” Your husband groaned after a moment, lowering himself into the sheets as did you. “He’s Susano’o. There’s always something he’ll come up with.” You giggled.
“Let’s give Sora a chance.”
“She is not gaining my approval any time soon.”
“We’ll see. I hope she uploads a video tomorrow. She’s pretty good at interviewing.”
The exasperated sigh your beloved let out to your back as he pulled you closer to him earned a chuckle.

Is it okay if you make Tsukuyomi x Reader?
Like, I know he just came out, but can you do it?
Oh! I guess I can?
Tsukuyomi x Reader!
It was one wonderful night, the stars were shining bright, and the Moonlight in your path, as you approached your shrine, you knelt down, the dim light of the candles were your only company.
As you prayed, only one could hear your prayers, The Moon God, Tsukuyomi. His eyes pierced though your soul, as he never received a prayer in a long while.
"Child of the Moon, You ask for my presence. I heed your call." He looked down upon you, as the Moonlight shines onto the shrine, not even the stars could outshine it.
"For you to keep me safe tonight, guide me in my dreams...for your moon to still shine in the midst of the darkest hour..." "Hmm...Your loyalty is appreciated, Child."
He smiled, as he left a kiss on your forehead, it was rare to see him like this. He was self-centered, and very Introverted... Guessing that your loyalty meant a lot to him.
(Enjoy!)

Imagine hugging Fumikage, your arms snaking around his neck, just enjoying a little moment of genuine calm and affection. A somewhat surprised giggle leaves your throat, as not only Fumikage returns the hug. Dark Shadow wiggles its way between your arm and Fumikage's shoulder, so you just have to hug the both of them.

The Firmiana Leaf Falls (2/3)
Tumblr media
Upon arriving at the cave where Shinnojou was being held, many officers were in the area while Shinnojou was seen trapped in a cage.
Paimon: What are you doing? Release Shinnojou this instant!
Kamisato Ayato: Stop this at once.
Kubo: It's the Yashiro Commissioner... Hmph! Well, we take orders from our Master, no one else.
Kamisato Ayato: Really... Then, please excuse me!
A battle began with the soldiers being at a disadvantage, and they were defeated, but during the battle, Y/n was stabbed.
Y/n: "That hurt, and Now I'm bleeding, but I feel that I used so much energy during the fight that I don't have the strength to heal myself, I'll just apply pressure to the wound to try and stop the bleeding."
Kubo: Blast! Let's go! We must report to Master right away! *ran off with the other guards*
Paimon: Hey! Get back here! *about to follow them*
Kamisato Ayato: No need to follow them. We need bait to catch the fish anyway. Leave them be. I think I saw a key fall to the ground during the fight. Let's free Shinnojou first. But... in all the chaos, it must have been kicked to one side. Hmm, where did it end up?
A tanuki runs past the area
Paimon: What the...? It's a tanuki! ...Oh, don't tell Paimon that the tanuki took it!
Kamisato Ayato: Let's follow it and see.
After finally managing to catch the Tanuki and getting the key back, they freed Shinnojou from where he was being held.
Shinnojou: Thank you, thank you... It was terrifying... They said they were gonna throw the cage into the sea with me still inside... Oh... Wait, you have to listen to me! Lady Chisato's wedding, they... It's all part of a scheme! Someone's trying to use the wedding for their own ends!
Paimon: Calm down, Shinnojou. It's okay. We know about all that.
Shinnojou: ...Huh?
Kamisato Ayato: Our suspicions were roused to this possibility, and so far, everything is unfolding rather as we expected. Those behind this plan are not going to give up easily. Their next move is imminent. We must devise sufficient countermeasures.
Shinnojou: Yashiro Commissioner, you're personally going to take action?
Kamisato Ayato: This situation has consequences for the whole Tri-Commission, and the stability of all of Inazuma is at stake. My hitherto-neutral stance ends now. The Almighty Shogun has always despised these pathetic power games. As a Commissioner, I am a servant of the Shogun, and it is therefore my duty to handle these tiresome matters on her behalf.
Shinnojou: Hmm... That's true...
Kamisato Ayato: Shinnojou, don't return to your post yet. Find somewhere safe and stay hidden. Aether, Y/n, Paimon. Let's get out of here.
A short while after leaving...
Matsuura: Well, if it isn't the Yashiro Commissioner. I hear you showed up here with no explanation and attacked my men. You wouldn't happen to be carrying out some sort of secret mission, now, would you?
Kamisato Ayato: I heard that someone was taking the law into their own hands. As a responsible official of Inazuma, I could not in good conscience stand idly by. Shinnojou may be your retainer, but the law does not grant you the right to abuse him.
Matsuura: Abuse? Nonsense! I was just teaching him a lesson. Out of nowhere, a low-ranking officer decides to barge in on Lady Hiiragi and start spurting out the most absurd and insulting nonsense one can imagine... A truly egregious loss of decorum! I daresay, the poor Lady was terrified.
Kamisato Ayato: So you're saying that you know absolutely nothing of the reasons for his actions? Because otherwise, why would you describe it as "out of nowhere"?
Matsuura: Two people from two different clans are getting married. That's all there is to it, and yet this young gentleman took it upon himself to fabricate a nonsensical disaster story around it. How should I know what he was thinking? Even if she marries into the Kujou Clan, Lady Hiiragi will always be the daughter of the Hiiragi Clan and the most distinguished member of the Kanjou Commission. We are, and always will be, her loyal assistants. It's our duty to see that she never has to worry about anything. Loyalty and duty are our guiding principles. Not only did this guard show no regard for either, but he went out of his way to upset our Lady. How could one do such a thing? Even if we put it down to a rare moment of impulsivity, I have to say I'm surprised to see one of such noble standing as yourself rushing to his defense.
Paimon: Darn it! This guy is good... Annoyingly good!
Aether: "He's a slimeball. But he's also difficult to argue against..."
Kamisato Ayato: Funny, I'm suddenly reminded of an anecdote I'd like to share with you. There's not been a dull moment since I took up my post in the Yashiro Commission. Every day, I've been exposed to new and fascinating things. *walks up to him* For instance, a merchant from abroad once told me about a curious kind of bird with the most extraordinarily long tongue. So long, in fact, that you can tie two knots in the portion of it that extends out of its beak. I'm sure someone as erudite as yourself should be able to guess what people do with these unusual avians?
Y/n: "Wait, those types of birds exist? Fascinating.... Wait, stay focused, Y/n!!!"
Matsuura: Uh... keep them as pets?
Kamisato Ayato: *walks away from him* Haha, you'd think, wouldn't you? But there's a catch. You see, this bird is of no use to humans whatsoever, and certainly doesn't make a suitable pet. If you catch one, the best thing you can do is actually cut its tongue off and throw it out of the window. The reason they give is this: "The longest tongue has the most to say, but don't be deceived as it chirps away... lest the song it sings lead you astray."
Matsuura: You...! I say, Yashiro Commissioner, are you here simply to mock the Kanjou Commission?
Kamisato Ayato: Far from it. In my mind, the Kanjou Commission is made up of honorable individuals, upright and forthright, conscientious, and loyal. It is unbecoming of such people to resort to lies, deception, and filibustering all as part of a plan to remove Lady Hiiragi from her position in the Kanjou Commission.
Matsuura: Yashiro Commissioner, please don't make accusations without any evidence.
Kamisato Ayato: *turns to face him* The evidence is standing right in front of me, is it not? I have a credible witness who can confirm you were quick to try and make him disappear as soon as he said something that you did not like. *shook his head* Dear me, I can't believe the grand Matsuura Clan is now represented by someone with less of a sense of loyalty than even an ordinary servant. You studied hard and took a government position, only to make it to where you are now just to play these petty power games behind the scenes... I'm not sure whether it's because you're smart enough to play the system or too foolish to know any better? In your years of service to the Shogun, not only have you managed to glean nothing good from the people around you, you have also let yourself be blinded by self-interest... And now you have ruined your once-bright future. I'm not angry, Mr Matsuura... I just feel sorry for you.
Matsuura: ...Hahaha! Is that right? Then tell me, if you're so bright, what exactly do you think you can do to me!? This is at most a Kanjou Commission issue. We'll handle this amongst ourselves. You are reaching rather outside of your bounds, Yashiro Commissioner, if you seek to involve yourself in other clans' affairs... Might I be so bold, then, as to question your motives in doing so? I think you are simply opposed to an alliance between the Kanjou Commission and Tenryou Commission because the new balance of power in the Tri-Commission would be a threat to you personally. So you come here with an elaborate excuse to try and break up this marriage!
Kamisato Ayato: Hm. So, that's how you view it. Well, I have to admit, you clearly are far more talented than I at monitoring the power balance within the Tri-Commission.
Matsuura: Let me be crystal clear. This wedding is going to happen, and nothing is going to change that. The notices have already been sent out. All of Inazuma City knows about it now! Most of the public weren't aware that Kujou Kamaji and Hiiragi Chisato were courting, but you can bet it's all anybody's talking about now. Once the notices go out, that's it! The wedding is a sure thing, even if it hasn't happened just yet!
Kamisato Ayato: Hm. I see. It seems like I was wrong.
Matsuura: Hah! So suddenly we see eye to eye?
Kamisato Ayato: I had expected you to at least be smarter than most. But it seems that I was gravely mistaken.
Matsuura: Kamisato Ayato! You...! How dare you!
Kamisato Ayato: You've made your move. Now, I suppose it's time I made mine.
Matsuura: ...What do you mean?
Kamisato Ayato: Do you seriously think this marriage will bring the Kanjou Commission and the Tenryou Commission together? Isn't it at all possible that the Kanjou Commission becomes marginalized as a consequence of this union?
Matsuura: ...Hmm?
Kamisato Ayato: Goodness me. Well, I've learned a great deal from talking to you. That will be all for now. If you would excuse me, I shall take my leave.
After leaving
Paimon: Hey, hey! What was all that? Paimon didn't follow at all!
Kamisato Ayato: They had their scheme, but fortunately, I was prepared. As I said, they ended up coming out from the shadows and revealing themselves. Let's see how things are in Inazuma City. Then I'll take you through the details of my plan. But first, we need to immediately take Y/n to Tenkubashi Clinic to see if the owner is willing to help heal her wound.
Y/n: I'm fine, I'll just apply pressure on the wound, and that's it. I don't want to bother anyone because of this.
Aether: It's not fine. Let's just do what Ayato says and no 'buts' Y/n.

Yuzu: Hmm, look at this... The daughter of the Kanjou Commission's Hiiragi Clan and the master of the Tenryou Commission's Kujou Clan are getting married.
Furuya Noboru: Hehe... Sounds like an all-around perfect match, don't you think?
Yuzu: For sure. I'm just surprised, it seems very sudden. I hadn't heard a single word about it until now.
Furuya Noboru: Good luck to them, I say. I'm sure it must have been a hard decision.
Paimon: Looks like the wedding is definitely going ahead.
Kamisato Ayato: It's still too early to make that conclusion. Our adversary wants to push this marriage past the point of no return. However, we can still beat them at their own game. But only if Kujou Kamaji is willing to help us.

Kujou Kamaji: Welcome. I just heard that the news of my wedding has been officially announced. It seems so sudden... I wasn't ready yet.
Paimon: Yeah, about that... It's kinda complicated...
Aether briefly explains the situation to Kujou Kamaji...
Kujou Kamaji: I see... So someone's trying to take advantage of our marriage...
Kamisato Ayato: If you proceed with the wedding, the repercussions for you are likely to be minimal. But we must take Lady Hiiragi's situation into consideration.
Kujou Kamaji: I've previously considered this possibility. But in the end, we are getting married for true love, and I've promised to her that I'll do everything in my power to protect her.
Kamisato Ayato: I understand where you're coming from, but to be frank, she should not need your protection. Or to put it another way, you have tacitly admitted that Lady Hiiragi will need your help to get through the hard times ahead, which perhaps suggests that, deep down, you realize all she stands to lose.
Kujou Kamaji: I...
Kamisato Ayato: I don't mean to criticize you. It is natural to want to protect our loved ones. You're an intelligent and gentle person, and I'm sure you would have been able to think about this more objectively were you not so emotionally involved in the situation. I'm sure you admire Lady Hiiragi for being the independent, gentle, resilient, and strong-willed person she is. For the sake of marrying you, this wonderful woman will become someone who has to depend on you for the rest of her life. Are you really okay with that?
Kujou Kamaji: ... I love her with all my heart and would do anything to make her happy......That's why I can't abide to see her suffer or be manipulated by other people. Yashiro Commissioner, you're right... It was naive and selfish of me to take things this far. But it's too late now, isn't it? There are notices everywhere...
Kamisato Ayato: I have a plan. But... it needs a villain. Sir Kujou, in order for my plan to work, you and I must both play the role of antagonists. But it is not without its risks. Are you willing to help?
Kujou Kamaji: If there's a way to salvage this, then let's hear it.
Kamisato Ayato: I've told the people at the Kanjou Commission that the marriage isn't going to unify the Kanjou Commission and the Tenryou Commission. On the contrary, it's a terrible idea that will marginalize the Kanjou Commission. The context for this is that they are planning to use this marriage to bring down the Hiiragi Clan, and the key to their success is coming up against no resistance to the marriage from the Tenryou Commission. But what if we were to imagine for a moment that since the affairs of the Vision Hunt Decree, the Tenryou Commission has been planning to make a move against the weakened Kanjou Commission... The only reason you have been hesitant to act since taking over the Tenryou Commission is because you care about Lady Hiiragi's feelings. And so, your plan is to liaise with the Yashiro Commission to marry her and bring her out of the Kanjou Commission as soon as possible. Once that is achieved, as the person in charge of the Tenryou Commission, you no longer have any reason to hesitate.
Kujou Kamaji: I see! This is an ingenious plan, and it takes advantage of the situation perfectly...
Y/n: This will make Hiiragi Chisato indispensable.
Kamisato Ayato: Exactly. Our purpose is to change Lady Hiiragi's position from an unnecessary burden to an indispensable asset. By doing so, we can even strengthen her position in the Kanjou Commission. Once our adversaries realize how the network of connections behind the scenes really looks, they'll do their utmost to stop this wedding from happening. Then, we simply leave them to clear up the mess they've created.
Kujou Kamaji: Got it.
Paimon: Ugh... So the network of connections... Ah, this is all way too complicated for Paimon! Can you just tell us what you need us to do?
Kamisato Ayato: We have to make sure that the behind-the-scenes story comes to the attention of our dear friends in the Kanjou Commission. Matsuura, with whom I spoke earlier, will now be fearing the worst. No doubt he'll be on the lookout for the first sign of a crisis. In that case, he will almost certainly have placed informants throughout Inazuma City. What we need to do is to use these informants as a breeding ground for our fake intel. Sir Kujou, there are certain things that I need you to attend to personally.
Kamisato Ayato explains the details of his plan to Kujou Kamaji. A while later...
Kamisato Ayato: It's almost time. My ninja has located one of the informants. Let's go and see if he'll take the bait.
.

.
Kamisato Ayato: That person is one of Matsuura's informants. Let's follow him. Be careful not to get seen.
Upon hiding from the informants' sight, they listened in on the conversations that were occurring.
Hashimoto: Did you see that? Sir Kujou Kamaji just came past here with a huge group of people.
Nagase: Could it be related to the wedding announcement?
Hashimoto: Maybe... but from the look on his face, it seems like something much more serious. He and his men seem pretty intense at the moment. Isn't it all a bit excessive for a wedding?
Yamaue: The Tenryou Commission has sent a load of people to Ritou. I guess it must have something to do with the wedding. I think in all, there must have been about a hundred people so far.
Tokunaga: That doesn't sound good. What could be going on? Ah, I hope it's just Sir Kujou Kamaji being overcautious.
Y/n: *felt a cherry blossom petal land on her nose* Ah-
Kamisato Ayato: *quickly covered her nose*
Paimon: *took off the petal*
Y/n: "Thankfully, I didn't sneeze thanks to Ayato. This darn petal almost caused us to ruin our cover"
Hideo: The news is spreading fast, but it appears that Master's fears may be well-placed. There's no way they sent this many people just to escort the bride... I have to investigate.
Paimon: He ran off...
Kamisato Ayato: As expected. Let's follow him.
Y/n: Sorry for almost sneezing!!!
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
Paimon: Wow! It's like the whole Tenryou Commission is here!
Hideo: Excuse me, has something happened on this road? I'm a businessman passing through, and it's a little disconcerting to see this place so heavily guarded.
Okabayashi: Ah, please don't be alarmed. As I'm sure you've heard, the wedding of Sir Kujou Kamaji and Lady Hiiragi Chisato will take place any day now. Sir Kujou decided to send for Lady Hiiragi ahead of time and have her live in Inazuma City during the run-up to the wedding.
Hideo: I see...
Okabayashi: We are here to clear the way for Lady Hiiragi. Not just us, either. You'll see more Tenryou Commission members as you go further along. We're all here for the same duty.
Hideo: ...Isn't this a little excessive?
Okabayashi: Sir Kujou holds Lady Hiiragi in the highest regard and wants to treat her with the utmost respect from beginning to end.
Hideo: I understand... Sorry to disturb your work.
Hideo steps away from the Tenryou Commission guards
Hideo: Drat. It's exactly as Master feared. They say they're here to guard the road, but really, they're poised to attack if Master doesn't allow Lady Hiiragi to leave Ritou... Wait, no... If Lady Hiiragi does leave, they'll have all the more reason to strike... But we're in no state to defend against a Tenryou Commission attack! I must tell Master right away! *runs off*
Paimon: He ran off again...
Aether: Now he realizes how serious this situation is.
Kamisato Ayato: That should do it. The seeds have been sown. In this atmosphere, mounting suspicion will nurture fear among the Kanjou Commission. Now, we wait patiently for it to grow and ferment. The calm before the storm is always the part that unsettles people the most.
Paimon: Are they really gonna own up and apologize, just like that?
Kamisato Ayato: If you're curious to find out, you can visit the Hiiragi Clan in Ritou in a couple of days. I have some other business to attend to. So I won't be spending any more time on this situation. In any case, we've made our move. It's only a matter of time before they give up and surrender.
Y/n: *felt another petal on her nose and sneezed* Why are you so confident?
Kamisato Ayato: "Cute." This is not my first time. Well, then. Goodbye for now. I truly hope that things will work out in Hiiragi Chisato's best interests. *leaves*
Paimon: He left kind of abruptly... Are things really gonna turn out like he predicted?
Y/n: I'm still a little worried about Hiiragi Chisato.
Paimon: Paimon, too! Well, let's go to Ritou again in two days!

Moments before checking the current situation at the city Bulletin Board and heading to the Tenryou Commission(Warning: cusrisng):
At Tenkubashi Clinic
Kamisato Ayato: Yomi-kun~
Aikawa Tsukuyomi: *annoyed* ...What the fuck do you want?
Kamisato Ayato: Come now, don't treat your cousin that way, anyways I need you to help with treating her wound *points at Y/n*
Y/n: *has blood coming out her mouth* Hi Tsukuyomi.
Aikawa Tsukuyomi: I'm not going to even ask.
After Tsukuyomi bandaged Y/n's wound.
Aikawa Tsukuyomi: That should do it. Just don't do any brash movements or fighting in your case.
Kamisato Ayato: Thank you, Yomi-kun~ *patting his head*
Aikawa Tsukuyomi: Get your damn gloved hand off me.

Sweet Dreams

Synopsis: You're caught in Madara's Infinite Tsukuyomi
Content: Uchiha Madara x Reader, gn!reader, konoha shinobi!reader, 4th ninja war, fluff
Word count: 737
A/N: an actual short one shot
Tumblr media
“Now! Become one!” Madara shouted.
You were tired from fighting, tired from this war. It hadn't lasted so long, but it sure felt like it. Your whole body, which had been aching all night long, suddenly started to calm down. The pain stopped and you started to relax.
In the distance, other shinobi were panicking, unlike you. For you, not being able to move was a somewhat nice feeling. It gave you a strange sense of safety.
The light shining upon the battlefield was so bright, making it hard to see anything. However, vision wasn’t your only sense being dulled. The rest of your body felt as if it were submerged in water, a tight pressure embracing you all around.
Maybe due to the night sky being so light, everything seemed unnaturally bright and vivid. The little you managed to see was weirdly slow, like the entire world slowed its pace down. You sweared that in the few seconds before closing your eyes, you were able to predict what direction the plants would sway before they did so. But your eyelids were too heavy all of a sudden, leaving you with no choice, but to close your eyes.
When you opened your eyes again, all the pressure and stress from before were lifted from your body. You felt cleaner, fresher and better than you had ever been. The sun was shining in the sky, and you were in the shade of a tree. A gentle breeze that didn’t disturb your hair kept you in the perfect temperature. You didn’t know where you were, but it didn’t stop you from being so… happy. Right then and there, your worries had vanished.
You looked down from the sky, moving your face forward, and were met by a field of the prettiest flowers you had ever seen. The wind carried its smell to you, it was so good!
Walking towards the flower field, you spotted a silhouette. There, in the midst of the flowers, was Madara. He wasn’t wearing armour nor did he look alien like during the war. You got scared and lowered yourself to the level of the flowers. Hopefully, you’d manage to hide yourself from him.
When he turned in your direction, your heart skipped a beat. You were done for! You barely managed to survive, only to run directly into Madara! Good heavens, your hands were trembling trying to cover your mouth so that you did accidentally scream. At least you would face your end by such a handsome man. Who said that.
The closer Madara got, the more you relaxed. You had accepted your fate. You didn’t hold a chance against him in a fight. You closed your eyes in hope of a quick and painless death. Instead, a warm hard hand touched your cheek. You opened your eyes in reflex, staring straight into Madara's black eyes.
He gave you a soft smile as he caressed your blushing cheek.
You could barely believe what was happening. Of course, Madara was evil and a known public enemy, so you never shared your thoughts about him with anyone. For all that mattered, you would never – should never have a chance with him. Also, because he was dead long before you were born, but mostly because of the stigma of dating an evil traitor who attacked the village.
“Stop it,” He said softly, “You don't have to worry about such things anymore.” Madara continued to tell you in his deep voice that made your heart flutter in the battlefield.
You two were so close now, with him having lowered himself to your level. Both sitting in the flower field. The breeze lifted Madara's long hair until it reached you.
“Go ahead,”
You tried to control yourself so as to not touch his hair.
“You can touch it, it's okay.” Madara repeated.
Still a bit suspicious, you were surprised he would let you do it. But his reassurances came in the perfect time to convince you, almost like he knew what was going through your mind. Either way, this was not an opportunity you would throw away.
You lifted your hand to feel his hair, and it was soft and voluminous. He came closer, moving his hand from your cheek to go around you and sat by your side. You leaned into his chest as you played with his hair. This day couldn't be better if you were dreaming.

Think of Tsukuyomi having a personal assistant all to himself. Not a sidekick, just someone to take care of the boring tasks that came with the office side of things. Other than that, you bring him coffee and arrange his appointments, keeping him all organized. He doesn't know what he'd do without you, and decides to show you his gratitude.

Hawks x Timid Reader
Scenario: Hawks loses his memories after a villlan fight leading to head trauma. His sidekick was all the more ready to take your place as his girlfriend. She fed him lies to make Hawks hate you. Will he remember you or will you remain a thorn in his eyes.

Tumblr media
It had been 2 months since Hawks was hospitalized after a long stressful fight. Each day you pray he would wake up.
You were there every possible moment waiting and hoping for the day he woken up. You had to work but You would stay by his side up until visiting hours where over. You would come home to your small little apartment crying wanting to have him back. You missed his warmth and you miss all those silly moments you had together.
You immediately rushed over to the hospital once your business trip was over to check on him. When you opened the door you saw him with his side kick, Vivian, the Shadow hero. Vivian was straddling Hawks and they were flirting with one another. You were grateful that he was finally awake but heartbroken seeing him with another woman.
“Hawks?” You asked trying to hide your broken heart.
“That’s the woman I was telling you about. Always trying to tear us apart.” Vivian said.
“What are you talking about I’m-“
“Don’t act all confused now! You weee always budding in like a crazy Fan and you always harassed me! Saying mean things about my body and coming on to Hawks like a creep!” She said.
She win an Oscar if she was an actress with all her crocodile tears. That wasn’t that part that make you hurt. What made you stop and broken was the look in Hawks eyes. No longer was the loving stares he gave you, there was only hate in his eyes.
He gave you the coldest stare you ever seen and sternly said “Get out. Look I don’t know what your problem is but stay away form my girl friend and Me.”
“Wait Hawks but we ar-“
“I don’t want to hear your delusions, please leave before I call security.”
He wouldn’t listen to you. You had no choice but to leave the room. You figured by now that Hawks didn’t remember you. You look back through the small window of the door. Hawks was happy, staring lovingly toward Vivian. You left crying running home. You tried everyday to see Hawks but the staff inform you he didn’t want to see you. They looks at you with pity knowing that you cared for him deeply despite them not knowing your relationship with him other than you were on his emergency contacts.
Once he was out you went to his agency to try to reason with him. He never listened brushing you aside like you were nothing but trash to him. Vivian did her best to keep you or any memory of you from surfacing, going so far to go into his office to remove any trace of you. Hawks even told the secretary to not let you in after 3-4 times you ended up there.
After a while you gave up, Hawks didn’t want anything to do with you. You lost hope that Hawks would ever love you again. Night after night you cried and wake up from nightmares only to wake up to another nightmare. One which Hawks despise you, one that Hawks was no longer your man, no longer look at you with love, no longer Hawks even look at you. You wake up looking up hoping you catch a glance at him only for you to see nothing.
You were walking home when you came across Tokoyami. Tokoyami wasn’t that close to you but Hawks sometimes brought Tokoyami along to have lunch or dinner so you two were really well acquainted.
“Oh Hi Tsukuyomi. It’s been a while how are you?” You asked putting up the best smile you can.
“Fine. I noticed you and Hawks are not talking. Did something happen?”
You couldn’t hold yourself back from crying. You could barely even tell him the whole truth. He guiding you to away form the crowded streets and held you as cry on his shoulders. Once you calmed down you told him what happened, how Hawks hates you and refuses to speak to you.
“… he won’t listen to me. Hawks doesn’t believe me. I been sidelined by Vivian…”
“You shouldn’t give up. You love him don’t you?”
“OF COURSE I DO! But what can I do? He’s happy with her, He hates me. I can’t even get a word in before he pushes me away! I can’t… I can’t do this anymore. I don’t know what to do Toki. I don’t….” You said.
“There you are.” You and Tokoyami heard.
You both look up to see Hawks. You immediately tried to hide yourself behind Tokoyami.
“Why are you here? Are you bothering my intern now?” Hawks said annoyed as soon as he saw you.
Tokoyami look back at you as you held on to his cap. You shook your head as if to tell him not to say a word.
“No, she’s not bothering me Hawks. She’s a friend of mine. I was helping her with something.”
“Oh. Well we should continue your patrols. I wanna ask if you want to have lunch with me Viv is gonna be there too.”
You flinched a bit hearing him call Vivian by a nickname so lovingly. You kept silent. Tokoyami declined and said he was going to escort you home the continue work. You can’t do anything but watch as he leaves you and Tokoyami. As he lifted you couldn’t help but try to reach out only to pull your hand back as you watch. Once you were home you laid on your couch scrolling through all your photos. Hawks smiling with you on your date to the amusement park, he was in disguise but it was a funny picture with a fake mustache. You smile at all your memories but you tears continue to fall as you remember your nothing to him now.
You can only watch him soar from the sideline.

CHAPTER 00
In the supposedly peaceful and beautiful world - Y/n, a beautiful God(dess) in a white robe and veil, had been engaged in a fierce battle to protect your city from marauding Gods. Your barrier stood resolute, deflecting attacks and safeguarding your people, but the more you fought, the more you felt your energy wane.
"Your majesty! Please, it's enough!" A voice was heard from behind. But despite the pleas of your beloved subjects to cease the battle, You remained unyielding, your bowstring singing as you sent arrow after arrow towards your foes. The Archon War had erupted unexpectedly, shattering the harmony among divine beings who were once friends. You couldn't comprehend why you were now locked in a merciless struggle for your nations' survival.
"You must be getting tired. How about resting now?" taunted by your enemy God, reveling in your weakening state. Undeterred, You glared back, refusing to back down. Your resolve was unbreakable; You were determined to defend your land until your very last breath.
"I will not! I will never back down until my last breath!" You yelled.
"Let's see about that, Goddess Y/n!" They said, as they were ready to launched another attack.
But just as you braced yourself for another attack, a familiar voice broke through the haze of battle.
"Ma/Pa.."
"Ma/Pa.. ma/pa.."
"Mama/Papa!!"
Startled, You gasped, your battle-weary eyes fluttering open. You found yourself in a small, warm room, and your attention was drawn to a tiny, innocent face—the face of your adorable daughter, Yuna.
"Mama/Papa! You're awake, right?!" Yuna's tiny hands shook you, urging you back to consciousness.
"Mama/Papa, it's time to wake up!" You blinked, the memories of your celestial battle fading into the background as you're fully awake now.
"Oh, Mama/Papa's awake now, dear Yuna," you whispered, your exhaustion momentarily forgotten as you lifted your daughter into your arms.
Yuna's innocent eyes widened with concern. "Mama/Papa, you were making scared noises in your sleep. Did you have a bad dream?"
You smiled, brushing a gentle hand over Yuna's cheek. "It was just a bad dream, my love. Mama/Papa's fine now." You marveled at the contrast between the dream's fierce goddess persona and the reality of your role as a loving parent. How could such a powerful being in your dream world be the same person who cuddled with your daughter each morning?
"Let's focus on happier things," You suggested, ruffling Yuna's hair playfully.
"Hehe, okay! Let's eat breakfast now, Mama/Papa! I'm hungry!" Yuna's enthusiasm was infectious, and you couldn't help but smile at the sight of your daughter's radiant joy. You dismissed the surreal images of your divine battle as a dream or perhaps the result of watching too many fantasy movies recently.
"What would you like to eat today, my little sunshine?" You asked.
Yuna's face lit up with excitement. "Pancakes, Mama/Papa! With strawberries!"
You chuckled, the remnants of the dream slipping further away with each giggle. "Pancakes it is, sweetheart. Let's make them together."
With a tender smile, You kissed Yuna's forehead. "And also good morning, my precious. I love you."
Yuna giggled, her laughter echoing through the room like music. "I love you too, Mama/Papa!"
Together, you both ventured into the kitchen, the aroma of pancakes filling the air as you expertly flipped them on the griddle. Yuna stood on a chair, her eyes wide with fascination as she watched her parent cook.
What had seemed like a fierce, otherworldly struggle faded into the background as you dismissed it as a fleeting nightmare. Perhaps it was the result of watching too many fantasy movies, you thought, trying to rationalize the vivid dream.
"Yeah, it must be a dream," You reassured yourself, embracing the reality of your daughter's laughter and the aroma of breakfast wafting from the kitchen.
"Mama/Papa, are you a superhero?" Yuna asked suddenly, her innocent curiosity sparking a twinkle in her eyes.
You paused, caught off guard by the question. You knelt down to Yuna's eye level, your expression tender. "Well, I might not be a superhero, but I'll always protect you, my dear. You mean everything to me."
Yuna beamed, her small hand reaching out to grasp yours. "I love you, Mama/Papa!"
"I love you too, my precious Yuna," You whispered, your heart swelling with an overwhelming sense of love and gratitude.
You prepared a hearty meal for yourself and for your precious daughter, Yuna, savoring the simple pleasures of your shared moments. As you both sat down to eat, Yuna's innocent chatter filled the room, momentarily pushing away the lingering thoughts of that dream you had earlier.
"Mama/Papa, what's your favorite story?" Yuna asked between bites of the pancakes.
You smiled, reminiscing about the stories you used to hear as a child. "My favorite story is about a brave god(dess) who protected their people from all the dangers of the world. They were strong, just like me, and they never gave up, no matter how tough things got."
Yuna's eyes widened with admiration. "Wow, Mama/Papa, you're like that god(dess), right?"
You chuckled, ruffling Yuna's hair affectionately. "I try to be, sweetheart. I'll always protect you and keep you safe, no matter what."
You only wished the best for your daughter.
That's all you need..
Those dreams probably meant nothing, right?
Tumblr media
Days turned into weeks, and weeks into months, with You and Yuna sharing your lives in blissful harmony. You had put the strange dreams behind you, attributing them to a mere figment of your imagination, yet the memories of your battles as a god(dess) lingered, casting a subtle shadow over your peaceful existence.
It also arose so many questions..
Why do you have that dream?
What does it mean?
Is it a past life?
Why are you remembering it?
You're already happy with youe daughter. You don't want to be burden with a problem you don't even know about.
That was all just a dream anyways..
But one evening, as the sun dipped below the horizon, painting the sky in hues of orange and pink, you found herself lost in thought on the porch of their cozy home. Yuna, now a bit older but just as radiant, skipped over, her eyes filled with curiosity.
"Mama/Papa, why do you sometimes look so sad?" Yuna asked, her voice tinged with concern.
You smiled gently, your fingers tracing the patterns of the wooden porch. "Oh, my sweet Yuna, it's just Mama/Papa's thoughts wandering. Sometimes, grown-ups think about many things at once."
"But you can tell me, Mama. I'm a big girl now!" Yuna insisted, her determination mirroring her parent's.
You sighed, realizing that your daughter was growing up and deserved to know the truth, or at least part of it. "Alright, my love. Mama/Papa had some strange dreams lately, dreams of battles and wars. It felt like I was someone else, someone powerful but burdened by the weight of protecting others."
Yuna's eyes widened in awe. "Like a superhero?"
You nodded, a bittersweet smile playing on your lips. "Yes, something like that. But these dreams were so vivid, as if they were memories from another life. It's all very confusing, Yuna."
Yuna reached out and held her parent's hand, her grip surprisingly strong for a child her age. "Mama/Papa, I think those dreams are trying to tell you something. Maybe you're meant to do something important."
You looked at your daughter, marveling at the wisdom hidden behind those innocent eyes. "You're right, Yuna. Perhaps there's a reason I'm having these dreams. I just wish I knew what it meant."
You couldn't help but hug your daughter. Just how caring and smart is this girl? This daughter of yours is too perfect to be yours. She's far too wise..
Even you can't come out with such an advice. But your 5 years old daughter could.
"You're so mature, aren't you, my love?" You said, as you kisses your daughter's chubby cheek who giggled in return. "Hehe! Because I am a big girl!"
"Yes, you are a big girl, love."
Though you couldn't exactly shake the feeling of being a powerful god(dess) in that otherworldly battle, your memories of an archon war still vivid, despite the comforting reality of your daughter's presence.
"Mama/Papa, can I ask you something?" Yuna's innocent voice interrupted your thoughts.
"Of course, my sweet," You replied, setting your daughter to your side to give your full attention to your daughter.
Yuna looked up at you with those big, curious eyes. "What were you fighting in your dream, mama/papa? Were you super strong?"
You hesitated, unsure of how to explain the complexities of your dream world to a 5-year-old. "Well, it was just a dream, dear. In the dream, Mama/Papa had to protect something very important, just like how I always protect you."
Yuna nodded thoughtfully. "Like a superhero, right?"
You smiled, relieved at the simplicity of Yuna's understanding. "Yes, like a superhero."
"Cool! I wanna be a superhero too!"
"Study first-"
"But mama/papa!!"
"Just kidding~!"
But as the day went on, you couldn't shake the feeling that your dream held a deeper significance. The memories of the archon war and the title of "God(dess) Y/n" haunted your thoughts, refusing to be dismissed as mere fantasy.
That night, after tucking Yuna into bed and planting a gentle kiss on her forehead, you found herself unable to sleep. You decided to indulge your curiosity and did something you hadn't done in a long time-you opened your laptop and began searching for information about archons and the concept of divine beings.
But you found no information about all the things you remembers in your dream.
Is it just.. a dream?
Lost in thought, you murmured, "God(dess) Y/n... Archon War... it all feels so distant yet so real."
Yuna, ever perceptive, approached her parent out of nowhere, her eyes wide with curiosity. "Mama/Papa, is something bothering you?"
"Ahh!" You almost fell down your chair when you saw your daughter standing next to you. Gosh! She's scary sometimes!
"Gosh, you scared Mama/Papa, love." You said, as you sighed in relieved that it was only your daughter. Yuna shrugged her shoulder before climbing into your lap and sitting comfortably.
"Why aren't you sleeping, baby? Didn't Mama/Papa tucked you in already?"
"Can't sleep yet.." She respond, as she hugged her doll tighter before looking back to you.
"So.. what's bothering you, Mama/Papa?" She asked curiously.
You smiled, your heart swelling with affection for your sweet daughter's concern. "It's nothing, sweetheart. Just an old dream Mama had like i told you before-"
But as you spoke, a sudden jolt surged through you, a flash of memories and emotions that felt too vivid to be merely a dream. You saw yourself clad in divine armor, battling against other gods. Faces once blurred became clear in your mind's eye.
"The Archon War.." You whispered, the words heavy with realization. "It's like.. a reality.. I'm not sure.. but I felt like I've known about it like a long time ago.."
Yuna's eyes widened with wonder. "Mama/Papa, what's an Archon war??"
You shake your head, your mind racing to comprehend the implications of your rediscovered identity. "I don't know, sweetie.. but there was a war. But why? Why were we fighting? Why was i fighting? What am I protecting..?" You questioned, confusing the little girl even more.
"Ehh.. really, Mama/Papa? Maybe you died and got reincarnated? I saw a movie about that!" Yuna explained.
"Reincarnated? Wait- how did you know that big word?" You asked. Yuna giggled as she snuggled into her doll. "Hehe! I heard it from watching marvel!"
"Right.. Hawkman.."
"Hehe! I like Ironman and Hawkman!" Yuna said excitedly, as she raised her doll up like it was flying.
You sighed. "Maybe I made her watch so many movies.."
Still.. how can this be?
Why are you remembering all this memories now?
You already have a life with your daughter..
Why now?
Tumblr media
As you navigated the bustling city streets, your thoughts were consumed by the anticipation of seeing Yuna's face light up with joy upon receiving the special treats you had bought today. The aroma of fresh donuts filled the car, tempting your senses as you carefully maneuvered through the traffic.
Your dedication to your daughter, Yuna, was unwavering. You juggled a demanding career as a high-profile fashion designer for a prestigious modeling company while ensuring that your daughter's upbringing was filled with love, happiness, and positive role models. Your decision to distance yourself from your previously abusive and greedy household was a testament to your commitment to providing Yuna with a safe and nurturing environment.
As you drove home, the box of delectable donuts sat securely on the passenger seat, tempting your senses with their sweet aroma. You couldn't help but smile, thinking about the joy these treats would bring to your little girl.
"I bet my baby would like the donuts I bought today," You mused aloud, your excitement palpable. "It's definitely the best ones I've tasted! I'm sure she'll like them."
With each turn of the wheel, your anticipation grew. The thought of Yuna's radiant smile and the delighted squeals of a child about to receive a cherished surprise filled your heart with warmth. There was nothing you wouldn't do to ensure Yuna's happiness and well-being.
She is your precious girl after all.
Who wouldn't want the best for their child?
"My precious baby... I so missed you, my Yuna. Mama will be spoiling you a lot this weekend for sure. Hmm... maybe I'll take her to the water park this Saturday?" Your thoughts were filled with excitement as you drove home, your anticipation growing with each passing moment.
However, in the midst of your joyful reverie, you failed to notice the fast-approaching truck until it was too late. The deafening impact sent shockwaves through your car, causing it to veer off the road and collide with the oncoming vehicle. The world around you blurred into chaos, and time seemed to slow as the accident unfolded.
Huh?
The world around you spun into chaos as the impact of the collision reverberated through your body. Glass shattered, metal twisted, and the sound of screeching brakes filled the air. Darkness enveloped you, and for a moment, time seemed to stand still.
When you finally regained her senses, you found yourself trapped in the wreckage of your car. Pain radiated through your body, and as you tried to move, you realized your injuries were severe. Panic welled up within you as the realization of what had just happened sunk in.
Your thoughts immediately turned to your daughter, Yuna. Fear clutched at your heart as you desperately called out to your little girl, but there was no response. Panic and anguish swirled within you as you fought against the pain and the wreckage that held you captive. I must go back to her! I still haven't given the donuts to my precious baby!
Pain shot through your body as you clung to consciousness, your first thought being of your precious Yuna. Panic continued to surged within you as you struggled to assess the situation.
Summoning every ounce of strength, you managed to unbuckle yourself and crawl out of the mangled car. Your vision was blurred, and your limbs felt heavy, but you had to go home to Yuna.
Your legs wobbled, panic turned to dread as you thought about Yuna waiting at home with the nanny, unaware of the accident. You had to get home, had to make sure your daughter was safe.
In the midst of the chaos, your thoughts were solely with Yuna. "I hope my Yuna is safe," you thought, your heart pounding with fear and concern. The seconds stretched like hours as you struggled to regain your bearings, your mind racing with worry for your daughter.
In the distance, you could hear voices shouting, the wailing of sirens approaching.
Your car's front end was crumpled, and the truck involved in the accident was equally damaged. The scene was chaotic, with concerned onlookers and emergency responders swarming around.
"M-my daughter," Y/n's voice laced with desperation. "Please, you have to help me. I need to get home to her."
The emergency responders arrived swiftly, their skilled hands working efficiently to extract you from the wreckage. All the while, your thoughts remained fixated on Yuna, your love for your daughter propelling you forward.
In the ambulance, amidst the blaring sirens and the medical team's urgent voices, you clung to consciousness. Your mind was a whirlwind of fear and determination. You couldn't let go, not when your little daughter syill needed you.
"It's gonna be okay, ma'am! Don't lose your consciousness! We're almost there!"
"We have to immediately take first aid!"
(Idk about this.. uh things so bear with it lol)
At the hospital, doctors and nurses worked tirelessly to stabilize you. Hours passed in a haze of pain and worry, but through it all, one thought persisted - your precious daughter, Yuna. You needed to be there for her, to protect her, just as you had always vowed to do.
As you lay there, pain coursing through your body, you felt a profound sense of urgency. The world around your became hazy, youe vision blurred. You knew your time was slipping away, like sand through an hourglass. The paramedics rushed to your side, their voices a distant echo in your ears.
In the midst of the chaos, you fought to find your voice, to speak your final words before surrendering to the abyss. With a tremor in your weakened voice, you whispered to yourself, aware that youe daughter, Yuna, remained oblivious to the tragedy that had befallen you.
"Yuna," you choked out, each word infused with a mixture of anguish and love. "My sweet, beloved daughter, I hope you can hear these words, even if only in your heart.."
As you felt the grip of life slipping away, you found yourself caught in a whirlwind of emotions. The pain and confusion consumed you, but amidst it all, you clung to your final thoughts, desperate to convey your love and remorse to your beloved daughter, Yuna.
Barely able to speak, your voice reduced to a mere whisper, your mind screamed with unspoken words. You yearned to tell Yuna how sorry you are, how deeply ashamed you felt for leaving your behind in this world, alone and unaware of the impending tragedy.
Blood pooled in your throat, choking your words and stealing your breath, but your thoughts raced with determination. With every ounce of strength you still possessed, you wished for your daughter's growth, for her to thrive in a world that you had only begun to understand.
In the midst of your pain, your love for Yuna burned brighter than ever. You wanted your daughter to know that your absence was never a choice, but a cruel twist of fate. Tears welled in your eyes, mixing with the blood that stained your lips, as you silently begged for forgiveness.
As the medical team continued to do their work on helping her, their urgent movements a blur around your fading consciousness, You held onto the image of Yuna in your mind. You whispered your final words, a desperate plea, hoping that somehow, in the vastness of the universe, your daughter would feel your love and hear your apologies.
In those fleeting moments, Your thoughts transcended the physical realm. You poured your heart and soul into a silent scream, a profound expression of love and regret that resonated in the depths of your being.
Through the pain and struggle, You fought to string together more coherent thoughts, desperate to convey your feelings, hopes, and apologies to your beloved daughter.
"My sweet Yuna, forgive me... I never wanted to leave you, my baby," you whispered in your mind, your voice quivering with a mix of love and anguish.
"I won't witness your first heartbreak... but remember, my darling, you are stronger than you know. You will rise above the pain and find love again."
"Yuna, my precious baby, don't let my absence hold you back. Embrace life's opportunities, explore the world, and chase your dreams with unwavering determination."
Her thoughts grow strained and weak, you continued, your words a fragile thread connecting you to your daughter's future. "I wanted to guide you, to be there for you... but circumstances have robbed us of that chance. You must find your own way, my love."
The tears flowed freely as your thoughts turned to the milestones you would miss. "I won't see you find your lifelong friends, those who will stand by your side through laughter and tears. But know that true friendships will enrich your life in ways I could never imagine."
"Yuna, my heart aches at the thought of not witnessing your wedding day. But when that time comes, know that I am with you in spirit, overflowing with love and pride as you embark on a new chapter of your life."
Your voice grew fainter, but your determination pushed you to utter one last plea in your head. "Promise me, my sweet Yuna, that you will live a life filled with joy, passion, and purpose. Seek happiness, embrace love, and never forget the strength within you."
As the darkness closed in, your final thoughts were consumed by your daughter's welfare. "Please, someone... protect and cherish my Yuna. Be the support and guiding light that I can no longer be. Love her as fiercely as I do."
With your strength waning, you held onto the hope that your whispered words would find their way to Yuna's heart. You longed for your daughter to know the depth of your love, the remorse you felt for leaving too soon, and the unwavering belief in Yuna's ability to navigate life's challenges.
And as your consciousness slowly faded, your final thoughts were a fervent wish for your daughter's growth, happiness, and the fulfillment of all her dreams.
"I love you, my Yuna.."
In your final moments, your thoughts were consumed by your undying love for Yuna, a love that transcended the boundaries of life and death. As your eyes fluttered closed, your last thoughts were of your daughter's smiling face, a beacon of light that guided you into the unknown.
You couldn't fight your dead..
Not again..
You failed again..
You failed protecting someone again..
And in that fleeting moment, as the world faded to darkness, you found solace in the knowledge that your love for Yuna would endure, an eternal flame that would continue to burn brightly, even in your absence.
'I'm so sorry, Yuna..'

Yuna played contentedly with her dolls, her imagination leading her on adventures only a child's mind could conjure. Her nanny and also Y/n's best friend, Kate, sat nearby, keeping a watchful eye on the little girl as she indulged in her imaginative play. Yuna was a charming but particular child, especially when it came to her food preferences. Yet, her undeniable cuteness made her nannies' hearts melt, rendering any minor inconveniences inconsequential.
Kate focused on the news broadcast playing on the television, its volume low so as not to disturb Yuna's playtime. But then, an unexpected news report abruptly seized her attention.
"A twenty-six-year-old woman/man was caught in a car accident," the news anchor announced solemnly. "The authorities have confirmed their identity. Tsukuyomi Y/n. She/He is a famous fashion designer for the Famous El Vera Company, who lives with their daughter, Tsukuyomi Yuna, in the..."
Kate's breath caught in her throat as she listened to the news report. Time seemed to stand still as the weight of the information sank in. Her eyes darted to Yuna, oblivious to the gravity of the situation, her innocent laughter filling the room.
She quickly turned off the television, not wanting Yuna to overhear the devastating news. Panic welled up within Kate as she contemplated how to handle the situation delicately. She knew she had to inform Yuna about her parent's accident, but how could she break such heart-wrenching news to a young child?
Taking a deep breath, Kate approached Yuna gently, crouching down to her eye level. She mustered a warm smile, masking the anguish she felt inside.
"Hey, sweetie," Kate began, her voice trembling ever so slightly. "I have something important to tell you about your mom/dad."
Yuna looked up, her big, innocent eyes filled with curiosity. "What is it, Nanny?"
"Well, darling, your mommy/daddy was in a car accident," Kate said softly, her heart breaking at the thought of shattering Yuna's world. "They're hurt, and they're in the hospital right now, getting the help they needs."
Tears welled up in Yuna's eyes as she clutched her doll tightly, her heart aching with a profound sense of loss. In that moment, the world seemed to crumble around her, and the reality of her mother/father's absence began to sink in.
"But... but Mama/Papa promised they'd come back, right?" Yuna choked out, her voice breaking as she struggled to hold back tears. "They said they'd bring me donuts today... they can't be... they can't..."
Kate fought back tears, mustering all the strength she had. "Yuna! I'm sure the doctors are doing everything they can to help them! But it's important for you to know that they loves you very much, and they want you to be strong and brave while they recover."
A flicker of fear crossed Yuna's face, and she clutched her doll tightly. "Can I see mommy/daddy?"
Kate's heart sank. She knew the truth had to be told, no matter how painful it was. "Sweetheart, I'm so sorry, but right now, your mommy/daddy needs to rest and get better. The doctors won't let visitors in. But you can send them your love and thoughts, and they'll feel them, I promise."
Tears welled up in Yuna's eyes, and she buried her face in the safety of Kate's arms. "I want my mommy/daddy, Kate. I miss her/him."
Kate enveloped Yuna in a warm embrace, her own eyes filling with tears. "I know, sweetheart. I know it's incredibly hard. Your Mama/Papa loved you very much, and they'll always be in your heart."
As Yuna clung to her, seeking comfort, Kate whispered a silent prayer for strength and guidance. She knew that the road ahead would be filled with challenges, but she was determined to be there for Yuna, to support her, and to help her navigate the difficult journey of healing and acceptance. She was only a little girl and she had lost her only parent. Isn't Y/n's family full of abusive people? Yuna will be in danger for sure..
Kate hold Yuna tightly in her arms, as she embrace the little girl and whispering comforting words to her.
'I promise to protect your daughter for you, Y/n..'

Being a moon goddess isn’t easy. You have to deal with many gods, deities, mortals and the lunarians, aka the inhabitants of the moon. Usually the council helps with major decisions and choices. Yet it once again fell into your own hands as the Greek pantheon was a ruckus and the moon god from the Egyptian pantheon was busy challenging Ra. Luckily the Moon god from the Japanese pantheon, Tsukuyomi was there to help you at the moment.
Even though you did a lot for the moon, many were terrified of you, that was because of your strong opinions. Many thought you were too harsh and too confident. Others thought you had too much charisma and power. Yet all of those traits is what also made you popular among various marriage candidates. They all asked your hand or tries to make a move, but for you it was no use. After all, you had seen the ancient worlds with your own two eyes. Men ruled the word, not all ofcourse. Yet the kind ones were seen unmanly while the barbarians were seen as the real men. They held unrealistic expectations for women and often saw them as lessers. Hence why you have refused all the proposes and offers.
Making Tsukuyomi aware of your exhausted state, you decided to go for a walk on the moon. You blended well with it’s pale yet bright look. Despite the fact many thought of your personality as ‘manly’ it was no secret that you looked like a noble woman out the renaissance. The chains and jewelry on your body making soft ringing sounds as you stride over the moon surface, deep in thought about your work. There was so much to worry and care about…until the sudden sounds of an instrument filled your ears. It was soft and distant, judging from the little sound you had you assumed it to be the sitar of Saraswati. The Hindu goddess often played it when there was a festival or just for her husband Brahma. Seeing her always brought you comfort as most Hindu goddess had always been very motherly or sisterly to you. So why not take a quick trip down to the heavens?
Landing on Valhalla you took a deep breath of oxygen, even if you didn’t need it as you’re an immortal being. It was still a pleasant experience to finally breathe air on earth. Following the sound of the sitar, you were eventually let to the Valhalla garden. The sitar increased in sound, yet there were no lotus’ in sight. No matter where Saraswati went, there were always lotuses and waters….was this on the sound of Saraswati’s sitar? Now that you thought about it, it wasn’t the same melody she usually played…who in the name of the moon could be here playing the sitar? Stepping inside the green house you walked past many flowers in the colors red, pink and purple. The green complimenting them elegantly and the plants were kept neat. The sight and of the woman playing became more clear.
Being now almost a meter or two away from her you were facing her back. She had purple hair, and the sitar was resting in her lap. You spoke to her in a stern voice. ‘What are you doing here?’ You asked the woman, walking a little closer, making her turn her head. ‘Well hello there~ i’m Bemzaiten, goddess of fortune, music and arts.’ Benzaiten? That wasn’t a name you had heard among the other gods. Ever. Was she perhaps new? But even if she was. Why is she holding the Sitar, a hindu instrument? ‘The sitar is a hindu instrument…are you from the same pantheon?’ You asked Benzaiten with narrowed eyes, she instead smiled and giggles at you. ‘I suppose you could say i’m Involved in the east asian pantheons.’ Benzaiten told you, her lips twisted into a smirk as she looked you up and down, taking in the many features you had that resembles the moon itself. She herself wasn’t that bad looking. She had a slender body, deep purple hair, yet looking at her form she had a more masculine look.
‘You’re eyeing me, lady moon. Are you perhaps interested?’ Benzaiten said in a voice laced with interest and mocking intention. This made you raise an eyebrow. You were used to many men being like this, yet never met a woman so…bold and daring before. At least not in this flirty way. ‘Is that a challenge?’ You asked her back, amused by her behavior. Benzaiten gave you a challenging smile back, her eyes holding mixed with confidence. ‘Perhaps.’ She said in a sly tone laced with arrogance. Her eyes half lidded and seductive. You narrowed your eyes once again at the daring words. But before you could say anything you gelt a hand on your shoulder, Turing around you could see Tsukuyomi who held a face full of worry and conflict. ‘My lady…Poseidon is trying to conquer the moon because his daughter said she wants it…’ typical. When is the greek pantheon not causing trouble. You said your goodbyes to Bentaizen and left for the moon once again to stop Poseidon from conquering the Moon. Once again. Cause it aint the first time he pulled stuff like this.
Benzaiten herself just snickered in amusement. Hoping you will visit her every time she plays the Sitar.

Dear Satoru,
It’s been 6 months since the fall of Sukuna. It’s been six months since the merger and curses and cursed techniques as we know them have been eradicated.
You would think the world would know some kind of peace without getting terrorized by beasts. You would assume that the Jujutsu society as you know it would collapse with no true relevance behind it anymore, but roots can’t truly die without yanking them out of the ground.
How poetic of me I know, you’d laugh at me until you heard the whisperings I’ve heard about a fallen sorcerer taking a grip on the power-hungry minds of our old world, with no promise for revival of our power, just a promise of control, security, justice, and a grander eternity, a better society.
They’re all true markings of a messiah, a god, a prophet, a savior.
You would think they wouldn’t believe it, we’re too smart for that, aren’t we? But they all bow at the feet of none other than your little sister.
It seems she truly took something from Suguru. Maybe we should blame him for feeding her his crap. But then again all he would be is glad that she’s becoming the leader he only dreamed of becoming.
If only you were here, Satoru, you would have stopped her before she even could start scheming. Now who will stop her?
All the big sorcerer families follow her because they fear losing their control and power, even the quiet Inumaki family have a lot to say about her now since she turned them into one of the big three after the extinction of the Zen’in’s. And the Kamo’s are no better.
You would think Choso would stop her, and knock some sense into her, but maybe I’m expecting too much from him, he follows her blindly. Not even Yuji could convince him to talk to her, the boy is neither here nor there. He’s neutral, and why wouldn’t he be? He lost a lot. A promise for a greater tomorrow is tempting, even to me, but I couldn’t follow her. She doesn’t even talk to me, I don’t know how long she’ll stay mad at me. Maybe forever?
All I know about her is things I hear from whispers of other people; Kirara, or Yuji, but even that’s rare since I don’t really see them anymore.
What I do know is that what she’s doing is kind of working I admit that. After all, you paved the way after you killed the higher-ups. I would scold you over the outcome, but you’re not here so I’ll let you off and actually tell you that you’re having a niece and nephew; Tsukuyomi and Suki, did she ever tell you the names she and Choso picked?
I’m sorry I don’t know more, I wish I did, I wish I knew why she’s doing what she’s doing at great risk to her beloved peaceful life. Control? Power? Fear of being weak? I don’t know, I’m sorry. I really am.
That’s all I wanted to tell you this time, it’s something I couldn’t say out loud. And even if you’ll never read this it helped.
Yours truly, Shoko.
——
*YOU*
You can hear it, the cries of regret and sorrow echoing from the fire.
You can smell the smoke and flesh like something out of an apocalypse. But what is terror compared to the adrenaline rushing through your veins as people bow at your feet, in the same way, non-sorcerers would bow to Suguru?
Even if they are escaping their demise you still stand tall over the people accepting the way things need to be.
After desiring nothing but a better world for most of your life, finally youre seeing that dream come true.
And yes there is an argument that can be had over the fact that cursed techniques and the power behind cursed energy are gone forever, but nothing changes who you all are and the society you were all born into. Everyone bowing sees that, you see that, and the people you love see that.
“Today marks an end to the old world,” you announce proudly to the crowd of ex-sorcerers. “Today marks the beginning of change and the start of our new world. We may not have our power, but we still know who we are, no one can take that away,” you trail on softer, causing murmurs to spread throughout the crowd.
“We will not fall. We will not be forgotten, we will live on as a greater society, better than the one the higher-ups and the old stubborn heads of our clans forced us to live under,” you don’t falter or let your confidence slip. Your smirk holds your glory, and your eyes shout your pride as well as your gentleness and sincerity.
Yet there’s a drop in your voice, one only Choso, Kirara, and Hakari can detect. “Part of it is due to…my brother, the wielder of the six eyes, and the limítless technique, Satoru Gojo,” you pause and sigh, as well as feel a weight fall on your frail chest. “He paved the way when he got rid of the higher-ups once and for all. He wanted a better world for the next generation, for the students he taught and cherished, and for the people he loved. He’s gone now but his will will not be forgotten, not by me. He’s part of the reason why I stand here…as well as for the ones I've lost, the ones treated unfairly because of what they were,” you mention and remember Nanako and Mimiko before you glance at Choso to speechlessly let him know that his brothers were in mind when you spoke those words.
“The ones snubbed,” you continue and now meet the gazes of Hakari and Kirara so they know you haven’t forgotten them or the treatment they were put under. When you look back at the ground you aim to portray the same sincerity so they know you mean what you’re saying and so that they can trust you.
“…And for all of you. Today marks the start of a new world for all of us!” You exclaim and grin, and much to your surprise the crowd erupts with excitement after a promise of a new tomorrow where the power they wield doesn’t really have to die. They’ll never know true power anymore, but thanks to what you promise they’ll never know the true loss of control or be as frail as the true non-sorcerers.
That should make you happy too—you are, you’re proud. You look at Choso standing beside you and find comfort and joy in holding his hand. You glance over at Kirara, Harkari, Larue, Miguel, and the rest of your family and you’re happy that you can keep your word for a better tomorrow, but when you see the mirage of your brother standing in front of the crowd, nothing takes away from the loneliness that surrounds you.
You’re isolated in a sea of solitude without him. You thought it would go away when Choso came back to life because that’s when it really sunk in, but this loneliness is deep and scarred in your bones with the only cure being your brother.
But you can’t live like that, you can’t wait for someone who won’t return, so you lead this change in your society, but the only thing that changed is seeing him standing there watching you.
Doesn’t he understand you're doing this all for him?
——
*10 YEARS LATER*
Dear Dad,
We’ve returned to our beach house in Italy, it’s been a few days since we got here. I’m sorry I haven’t caught up with you lately, life is pretty busy being the eldest of four siblings. It makes me think that Nanako and Mimiko had it easy with me when I was young.
As always I much prefer my time away from Japan, even if it is where I was born, it stopped feeling like home when you died. I didn’t realize that uneasiness until I got older. Plus with the Zen’in bastards demanding to pick up the family title and take the lands from Maki, Mother was pretty busy, it was only until a few weeks ago that she was able to find peace once again.
Now Maki still holds her family title and the lands that belong to her. And don’t worry, Kinji and Kirara stand in my mother's stead while she’s here. With them in Japan, the bastards won’t try to take advantage of her being on vacation. Actually, I don’t think it’s possible that they’ll try anything again, Mother made sure of it.
I only hope I am half the leader she is when it’s my turn to lead. Only two years left. Of course, mother says I can take my time, she doesn’t mind, but I know she’s exhausted, she can’t hide it from me anymore, I’m 16 now. And how could I delay mothers' hard work? She’s paved the way for me to step up and take my rightful place, I’m the future.
Or at least Mother says that’s what our people see when they look at me…if I’m honest I’m quite nervous, I wish you could comfort me.
One day right?
Anyway, speaking of mother, since we’ve gotten to our beach house mother has been lost in her thoughts a lot. She’s been more quiet than usual, she’s usually so happy and relaxed when she’s away from prying eyes and work, but ever since we’ve gotten here it seems like she’s…I don’t know, sad?
Maybe it’s her technique, she says she never regrets giving up her technique to save Choso’s life, but I see her, like I see her now out by the calm shore.
She misses the feel of the water embracing her, and I don’t mean the water we see around us, the small droplets of water not visible to the naked eye. She misses the fire's warmth under her skin, she misses the gentleness of the earth, and the whispers of the breeze. I know she does, I’m looking at her now, standing on the shore, letting the waves unfurl over her feet as she watches the horizon longingly.
I wish I could find something to say to her, like you always did—but then again, there Choso goes to her with little Ryusei in hand, and the moment they meet her at shore she smiles with all the endearment and joy, as if she’d give it all away without a thought just to live to see these moments.
But I still wonder what it is that has her so lost in thought…
Maybe I’ll ask her, what do you think?
Anyway, that's all for now. I’ll talk to you soon.
Love always, Satori
——
*YOU*
When is this loneliness supposed to go away? After ten years, the grief is supposed to turn to just simple memories and deep longing for the ones you lost, but the grief for Satoru still plagues you as if you had just lost him.
Why?
You grieved Suguru and came to peace with his loss. You were able to make peace with the loss of your twins and Kiyoshi. You grieved and moved from all those you lost. Choso, who has a big heart and spent a hundred and fifty years with his brothers was able to move on from his grief, but you can’t move past missing your brother.
You see him everywhere you go, no matter how far. He haunts your mind, and your dreams, and from time to time he plagues your happiness and turns it to ashes in your mouth.
You can be happy, you find your joy in many things, like Choso and all your children; and yes that includes Kirara and Hakari too. So you can be happy, but Satoru has left you living your worst fear. He’s left you alone for all eternity, and no matter how much you want to shake it, that ill feeling stays with you as if it were a part of you.
You do try to find a solution to your solitude, but it’s not in the breeze, or in the warm salt water that washes over your feet. It's not in the warm dancing flames or in the gentle earth. It lies in the grave with him. That’s your lifelong punishment…
You sigh deeply and longly, missing the approaching footsteps hitting the sand because of the waves crashing against shore. You don’t get alerted of the approaching presence until you hear a sweet voice call out to you. “Mama!”
You immediately find a reason to smile and when you turn around there they are like a light at the end of a tunnel, Choso and Ryusei.
“You’re finally awake!” You fawn over your 2-year-old child.
“You looked quite lonely out here,” Choso says as if he can read your mind. “So we thought we’d join you.”
You meet them halfway once they get close to shore and take Ryusei from Choso’s hold.
“You okay?” Choso presses, making your smile falter, but you don’t let Ryusei see it, you keep your smile plastered and that happy gleam in your eyes.
“Yeah, I’m just lost in thought,” you don’t lie since he knows you too well, and he also helps you in your lowest moments. You don’t want to lose that because you want to spare him from knowing your complex feelings; you'll talk to him in the same way he talks with you when it’s just the two of you alone.
“Hm,” Choso comprehends and closes the gap left between him and you to cup your cheek and caress your soft flesh.
“It’s a good thing we came when we did then, hm, Ryu?”
Said boy ignores his father and fiddles with the locket hanging off your neck.
“He hangs out too much with Yuji, don’t you, little one?” You tease him and tickle his belly, making him giggle before he searches the area.
“Uncle Yuji?” Ryusei now asks hopefully.
Choso shakes his head. “He’s not here yet, he’s coming tomorrow,”
Ryusei holds his father's gaze as the gears in his mind turn. He seems to understand the meaning but looks disappointed nonetheless.
“Maybe tonight we sleep outside?” You direct at Choso and bounce your eyebrows.
“Like in the grass?”
You look at him seriously before you snort and break into a lively chuckle. “No, silly, like in a tent. After we have a nice late-night picnic?”
“Oh.”
“Oh,” you nod with a grin. “I want to talk to you.”
Choso blinks and immediately stiffens. “About?” He probes.
You glance at the little boy in your arms and then back at Choso and shoot him a taunting smirk. “You’ll have to wait won’t you?”
Choso sighs and rolls his eyes. “It better be something worthwhile. You always leave me hanging.”
You giggle and lean towards him. “Aw baby, don’t worry,” you tease him. “We’re not breaking up. It’s not that talk.”
“Tsk.”
“Tsk,” Ryusei mocks his father, making both Choso and you look at your son quietly before you can’t help but feed into his habit by laughing. Ryusei laughs along with you but he’s quick to stray away and go limp, like a dead body, meaning he wants to be put down.
He’s so dramatic.
“All right, all right,” you trail off and put him down on the sand, but stay crouched to be at his level.
“Want to put your feet in the water?” You ask as you plant your palm on the sand and let him watch the wave roll over your hand before it gently pulls away.
Ryusei sees that it’s not hurting you so he bends down to mimic you and place his palm on the sand. As the wave takes a second to approach he looks back at Choso cautiously, but your husband shows no fear to reassure the boy.
“It’s okay,” Choso tells him. “It won’t hurt you this time.”
After being shoved back by a rough wave Ryusei has been very cautious about stepping back into the ocean or lake. He likes baths just fine, it’s just these large bodies of water that he’s grown very cautious over, so ever since then you’ve been trying to pull that fear out of him as best as you can without the abilities that once would wow Nanako, Mimiko, and Satori when they were children.
Albeit it's hard, it’s safe to say Ryusei wouldn’t have inherited your elemental technique if those still existed. Perhaps not even blood manipulation, he’s too gentle for it. Maybe something new, but who knows now.
Nevertheless, the wave finally rolls back in, but the moment the water submerges Ryusei’s hand he shrieks and quickly throws himself on you to escape such an evil element.
“Oh,” you coo and stifle your laugh. “It’s okay, the water is a good friend.”
You wrap your arm around him and lean in to press a kiss on his cheek, but Ryusei immediately pulls away as if you’ve done something horrible and wipes away your kiss.
“That’s mean Ryu,” Choso remarks, but the boy ignores him and instead points at his dad, meaning one thing, so you can’t help but flash a flustered smile before you give him what he wants and lean towards Choso to give him a juicy kiss on his lips, making Choso beam at you, and Ryusei giggle and cling onto you.
If this had been Amaterasu when she was Ryusei’s age, she would have smacked you for giving her dad so much affection in front of her. She was very clinging to Choso when she was younger, she still is, but less so because she’s 6 now. “She’s a big girl”, she says—Whatever, Daddy’s girl.
Nonetheless, just as you're thinking of the girl, she comes over running as if your thoughts had summoned her.
“Daddy! Mom! Suki and Tsu are fighting!”
Of course, peace is merely a dream now in your house, and it seems that as the older they get the chaos only gets wilder. But you can’t complain, they’re the reason you smile.
“They listen to you,” Choso immediately tells you as the shouting approaches.
“Yeah because I put my foot down,” you remind him of your stricter ways. “But I don’t think they need me to intervene yet.
“You’ll ground them ma?” Amaterasu immediately searches for strife. “I told them you would, Tsu pulled Suki's hair!”
You and Choso share a knowing look before drifting your focus to Suki and Tsukuyomi approaching whilst they’re in the midst of an argument of whodunit.
“Why do you always act so grown!” Suki shouts after her brother. “You never listen to me, I didn’t do it!”
Baby Ryusei turns to watch his siblings as they get closer with way too much amusement.
“Mom!” Tsukuyomi calls out for you and picks up his pace when he spots you close to the shore. “Mom, Suki—”
“Yeah snitch to mommy, mommas boy,” Suki grumbles with no attempt to actually be discreet, which in turn causes Tsukuyomi to halt dead in his tracks and spin on his heels to let his twin sister come to a skidding stop so he can pull her hair in the blink of an eye.
Ryusei bursts out laughing as if it’s the funniest thing in the world, while Tsukuyomi exclaims at his sister. “Shithead!”
Suki grabs his wrist and doesn’t get discouraged, she snaps back just as fiercely. “Amaterasu said that because it’s true,” she snickers, and the youngest girl lunges towards them to lie and defend herself.
“No, I didn’t! Daddy,” she drags Choso in. “I didn’t say it!”
Choso brushes his bangs back and walks over to break up the fight, you would go but it would just turn into a family brawl so you stay back and watch with slight amusement that might be too provoking in the sensitive situation, but you can’t help it. Besides, Satori walks over to join in the chaos and feeds you the correct intel.
“Suki and Amaterasu read Tsukuyomi’s journal and accidentally made it known by dropping water on some pages.”
Oh, sweet Amaterasu is such a good liar. You can imagine where she inherited such a habit, but you don’t want to even think of him. If Choso was okay with lying, he would tell his kids he and his brothers were gifted to his mother by some divine miracle, but if the kids ask he’s as honest as he can be. He’s too sweet to them, and as much as it bothers you at times, you can’t stay bothered or tell him to change, you love, love! that Choso is such a sweet and caring father, but sometimes it makes you the bad guy because you’re the one that disciplines them, but you don’t mean any harm and they know that when the storm passes. And as long as they do you’re okay with being the stricter parent, all you want is for them to have a sweet Father who isn’t afraid to love them.
You and Choso never had a caring father, so you want them to know a father's love, the same way Satori still cherishes Suguru’s unconditional love.
“Are you okay?” Satori breaks you away from the tension.
“Hm?” You probe in confusion.
Satori brushes her hair behind her ear and swallows back nervously before repeating herself. “Are you okay?”
You’re worried that she perhaps saw you outside wallowing in your solitude, but you’re also caught off guard because as you stare into her dark eyes you fail to see your little girl, she’s so grown up now; so much more mature and aware. It scares you that she’s so big, but you can’t help but be in awe too.
And as much as you want to hide your problems to spare her, you know that because she’s getting older she can bear more than she could when she was a child. So with some hesitance, you actually speak the sad truth. “I just miss Satoru, that's all.”
You briefly hold her gaze and see joy in her eyes because you confided in her, but you also catch pity for you too.
“Well,” she speaks softly. “It’s like Choso says, he lives inside us now, right?”
You sigh deeply and nod stiffly. “Yeah, that’s right. It’s just hard sometimes you know?”
“Hm, yeah I miss my dad all the time,” she says, making you close the gap between you to wrap your arm around her shoulder and pull her into a partial embrace.
Ryusei sees what’s happening and hugs your neck while he watches his father talk to the kids. You watch him too with a smile filled with pride and glee, but you also watch him with impatience because of what you have planned for the two of you later when the house is asleep and you finally have time to yourselves.
With four kids in the house, your time alone isn’t as common, so your escapes to be alone are special, especially the ones you plan because he always likes to beat you to the punch.
Nevertheless, what should’ve been a nice and passionate date outside under the clear night-littered sky, is ruined. Not by your children, but by rain that caught you by surprise and ruined your camping plans.
“Damn it! This sucks!” You whine.
Choso watches the rain fall over the tent and chuckles softly, making you pout.
“I told you it was going to rain today,” he remarks in amusement.
“It smells like rain doesn’t mean a thing,” you mock him and turn away from the back door to try and think of a quick solution that doesn’t involve just returning to your room and doing something there.
“Here,” Choso offers before he speed walks past you to exit the room, but then quickly return with your picnic box that you had pre-boxed while Ryusei ate his dinner.
“As much as I do enjoy a good time in the rain, we are more fragile now,” you remind him as if it hasn’t been a decade since you lost your techniques. “And as much as I do like taking care of you while you’re sick, please don’t do it on purpose.”
Choso shoots you a smirk before setting the box down, and pulling a blanket and candles out without letting your gaze go the entire time. And this time instead of interjecting you excitedly watch him extend the blanket in front of the glass door, and light the candles with a single match.
When he sits down he points to the empty spot across from him and you beam at him with admiration before plopping down and blurt the love you can’t contain. “See,” you whisper so sweetly that honey oozes off your voice. “I needed you.”
Through the candlelight you see Choso’s cheeks grow red the same way they did when you first met.
Even so, however, he doesn’t hold back either, he looks at you with never-ending love and admiration and fills the silence with sweet words. “And I’m glad my 150 years led me to you.”
You gasp softly and hold his gaze, and just like many times before, you see your happiness and the reminder of why you’ll never regret giving away a part of yourself for him. As strong as your technique made you, you love him more. And that will be the same in every lifetime.
You’re happy your life led you to him every day, even with all the bad you endured, you’ll go through it all again just be with him.
Does it sound selfish?
Maybe, but you don’t care.

A/N- Don’t you love when the ghosts of the dead haunt the mc’s? I love that trope! Also if Satoru somehow lives in the manga wouldn’t a sequel of this series be cool?
